Pride and BBVD members (total of 7) see cops and others helping
the injured as they run down the now clearing out streets. They
see where the tail end of group of D-Troop borgs as they
surround the theater. All 8 men begin cocking and loading their
guns as they slow their approach. Pride contemplates yelling a
command or just doing it New Orleans style as they all take
position. His decision was quick though as he remembers all of
the injured people and damaged property.
Dewayne Pride: Let’s just do this New Orleans hunter style,
boys.
He and BBVD members then open fire on the D-Troops from behind.
Two of the band members are armed with automatic shotguns loaded
with explosive rounds which when they hit their targets explode
the cyborgs near the front of the theater in a foul shower of
decaying flesh and necrofluids everywhere. The others use
regular hollow points which either ricochet off metal while
other rounds pierce zombified flesh or fluid tubes.
Scotty: Damn, man! Those cats are some kind of zombie cyborgs.
Ease up on the explosive rounds! Don’t need to be sprayin’
everything in stinkin’ flesh! He says as he knocks some decaying
flesh off of his pinstripe suit.
Dewayne Pride: Man, I’m gettin’ too old for this… He tries not
to gag at the smell of the rot, decay, formaldehyde, and sulfur.
Fetu gets a wicked fanged grin as he dodges Theo’s punch and
counters with a knee to Theo’s gut while going with a right
elbow to the back. He knew that his speed would be one of a few
surprises for Theo. Fetu had Sinister enhance him with Katsuki’s
DNA after Theo had been transferred to UNIT’s SCIS New Orleans
division. Fetu: Talofa, uso laitiiti. [I](Samoan: Hello, little
brother.)[/I] So good to see you again. He says sarcastically as
he counterattacks.
Out of the 10 necroborgs fighting, 6 have now been taken down
between Mystique and Eleanor as her shurikens take down two more
along with the one that she stabbed. Three out of the four left
get orders from Cyber at the temporary base of operations to
head to the Vampire Theater, turn around, and tear off for it.
The fourth one is taken down by one of Mystique’s gun as she
growls a bit when she misses with the other. Mystique: They’re
heading for the Vampire Theater where I sent two of Theodore’s
friends. She says to Eleanor as she debates on giving chase. The
Botherhood already has a basic surveillance report on the SCIS
team plus Sabretooth had told Mystique about Theo being on the
team. Mystique: I suggest you chase after them with another
teammate. Lady Raven may need your assistance.
At the temporary base setup by Mister Sinister and his team, he
has been monitoring the whole situation. Mister Sinister wasn’t
happy with the idea of using Dr. Fischer’s new D-Troop
necroborgs, but he followed Admiral Wilcox’s orders to test them
in what was suppose to be a discrete retrieval operation. The
total chaos and mass destruction with casualties was evident on
multiple screens. Silver Fox is barely managing to keep herself
from cringing at how badly this has gone so quickly but jumps
when Sinister puts his left hand on her shoulder.
Mister Sinister: This is now a clean up and retrieve as much of
those necroborgs as possible mission. Those zombie mush brain
cyborgs have caused enough chaos on what was suppose to be a
discrete operation. First though. I want to see Warp and Night
Reaper in action against stronger opponents. He smiles a bit.
Mister Sinister: They’ll also be a good distraction so I can get
DNA samples of those new arrivals especially the boy. Sinister
says as he points to Kendrix with his other hand.
Silver Fox: Are.. are you sure about sending Night Reaper?
Sinister: It will be a good test of her loyalty to the children
of the program. Will she fight for us against other Darkfires in
order to keep her favorites safe? Or will she not fight them and
forsake the children that she has grown fond? He then chuckles a
bit. Sinister: Besides, it will take more than just me to keep
an eye on Warp.
Silver Fox looks back and up to Sinister from her seat with a
concerned look. Silver Fox: Is it wise for you to go with both
the Black Reaper and Agent Babydoll on scene? Remember that
neither are very fond of you after what happened in Auschwitz
with special hate from Agent Babydoll?
[B]Sinister gives Silver Fox a more reassuring look.[/b]
Sinister: I'd be more worried if Alucard had shown up. It will
take more than what the Darkfires have to kill Mister Sinister.
[B]He then walks over to where Katsuki and Teena have gathered
together. Katsuki is in full ninja gear with a bullet proof full
black mask while Teena is just wearing shorts, high tops, a
black t-shirt, and black ball cap.[/b] Sinister: Now shut down
their inhibitors. [B]Silver Fox is quick to turn off the effects
of the power inhibitors.[/b] Sinister: Katsuki, handle the
archer on the roof. [B]Sinister then takes Warp's hand as
Katsuki teleports herself with dark water to a position behind
Malcolm. He places two DNA collection drones in Warp's hand.[/b]
Sinister: Release these near the boy, wait a few seconds, and
then let Annabelle have fun. [B]Warp gets a big grin as she
gently close her and then mimics Katsuki's dark water
teleportation to appear behind Kendrix. Then he teleports to a
roof across from Malcolm.[/b]
Silver Fox: to Fetu through his communicator [I]"Tsunami, Mister
Sinister has sent in Night Reaper and Warp to the theater to
straight clean up on the necroborgs. Stop messing around with
Theodore and get over to the theater now! The more eyes that we
have on Warp the better!"[/I]
[B]Raven steps out of the shadows in time to get sprayed in a
foul shower of rotting flesh, decaying brain matter, and
necrofluids from the D-Troop necroborg that exploded from
Malcolm's arrow. Hei also get showered by the same exploding
cyborg. Kendrix gets sprayed with a foul shower from one of the
two necroborgs exploded by Jason's bullets while Alice just
barely gets lucky. The foul smell is overwhelming enough to make
normal people become physically ill but even worse for those
with heightened sense smell as the smell is enough to stun them
for one round. Raven tries hard not to vomit with her hand over
her mouth and nose as she tries to speak which is hard to do
with her heightened sense of smell.[/b] Raven: Can we please..
try not to explode.. these things? They're made with dead
flesh.. and forbidden alchemy! [B]Kendrix's telemechanic ability
does affect a few of necroborgs of the 46 left, about 10 of
them. His ability affects the motor function of the mechanical
portions of the affected necroborgs. Those with mechanical legs
stop advancing but their arms raise guns and fire at Hei, Alice,
Jason, Petro, and Raven. While those with mechanical arms stop
in confusion as to why they can't move their arms. The other
necroborgs advance slowly and more cautiously after the
destruction of some of their own. They pull guns but don't take
aim yet as they let the frozen legged necroborgs fire.[/b]
[B]When Milo rips into one of the necroborgs, he quickly
discovers that not only are they slower than him but the
zombified flesh rips apart from the mechanical quickly and
covers him in a foul mix of rotting flesh and necrofluids. The
smell of decaying flesh mixed with formaldehyde and sulfur can
quickly overwhelm the average werepyre. A necroborg next to the
one Milo rips apart takes a wild aim at Milo.[/b]
[B]Petro managed to stay clean as he draws a gun loaded with
hollow point bullets and fires several rounds at the necroborgs
that fire at the group while pushing a smell stunned Raven out
of the way of gun fire.[/b]
[B]Inside the theater, Erin breaks out her field medic kit and
looks at the device on the back of Illias' neck. She thinks of
the best, least damaging way to remove it, but Illias interrupts
her train of thought.[/b] Illias: Just rip it out. I'll heal
once it's off of me.
Erin: Do ya know how deep this be, mon ami? [B]Erin says with
genuine concern.[/b]
[B]Illias' tone is calm and emotionless echoing his lack of
soul.[/b] Illias: Yes, I do. Deep enough for a tight hold. Now
rip it out so I can help the others.
Willow: sympathetic smile and tone It's really best just to do
as he says. It's not really going to phase him. You can take all
the time you need with me if that means anything.
[B]Erin sighs a bit as she thinks back to the multiple wars that
she worked in field hospitals. She grabs her forceps, grabs into
the power inhibitor device on Illias' neck, locks them, and then
rips the device off in one swift pull. Illias feels the pain but
doesn't flinch or make a sound. Instead he turns to the
backstage door with blood running down his neck as white
lightning sparks heal his wounds and walks back out the door.
Erin stares in disbelief as Illias walks out the backstage door.
She had worked on tough guys before but this one makes her
whisper a prayer in French.[/b] Erin: That would've made anyone
flinch.
Willow: That's what happens when you don't have a soul.
[B]Willow says nonchalantly as if that should be normal. The
comment makes Erin cross herself and then go silently to work on
freeing Willow of her power inhibitor device.[/b]
[B]Illias surveys what is going on as he opens up the backstage
door. A stray bullet fired from one of the confused, frozen
legged necroborgs just barely misses Illias' head by millimeters
as it buries into the door frame.[/b] Illias: They actually sent
barely tested technology into the field on what should be a
discreet operation. How illogical was that decision.

Percy and LaSalle manage to run to where the action is with
their small group along with where Gregorio and the Gangrel
vampire woman. All of them gagged by the foul smell while those
with enhanced senses like the Gangrel vampire almost hurled due
to the smell.
Gangrel woman: Oh God, this beyond reeks! Oh how I envy those
who can't smell!
LaSalle: I'm going to need to take a very cold after this!
Werewolf: Ditto!
Percy: That and going to the bar. For now, let's put these
things down and try not to hurl.
The group tries to make their way to Pride as they cut through
the zombie cyborgs with their guns. Percy, LaSalle, the hunter
and Gregorio doesn't use explosive rounds but they do aim for
the head as the werewolf, metahuman and vampire cover them by
trying to cripple the robots the best they could by going for
the joints.
Theo got hit by the counterattack which landed him on the ground
hard. He was more shocked than hurt about how fast Fetu has
gotten ever since he was transferred. After the hit, he gets up
from the ground with a pained groan as he glare up at Fetu.
Theo: I've must've been gone longer than I thought. Seems that
you got faster. Did the doc juiced you or something?
He mutters sarcastically as he force himself to get up. Eleanor
growls a swear word when Mystique told her what was going on.
She turn to her teammates to see where they are.
Eleanor: Dammit! Theodore! Caleb! We gotta move!
Eleanor's stoic expression turn to something close to rage when
she spots Theo on the ground and Fetu looking down on him. That
must be him. The one who gave Theo that scar and put him through
so much. Eleanor then snaps out of it when she hears Caleb
growling as he darts toward Fetu with his claws out and his eyes
glowing yellow.
Caleb: Get away from my little bro!
Theo: Caleb, no!
Eleanor: No, wait!

Milos swears in Russian as he smells the fluids. He doesn't even
see the one attacking him as he focuses more on getting away
from the internal fluids. He retreats back to Hei and Alice,
trying not to let the smell overwhelm him, though it was obvious
he was trying not to let the smell overwhelm him. Milos: That is
not good smell. He says to the group.
Meanwhile, Kendrix was about to excitedly say how his
technokinesis was actually useful for once, but gets stopped
before he can talk when he gets showered by fluid. He uses his
lightning to evaporate the fluid (using the properties of
electrolysis to separate the fluids into their original gaseous
elements). Kendrix: WHY. He says as he takes a moment to
concentrate on getting rid of the fluids.
Alice and Hei use demonic energy to shield themselves by
creating a demonic energy barrier to block the enemies firing on
them. Hei tries to use the fluids to his advantage as he tries
to release a holy lightning electrical current through the
fluids that had covered the area, hoping to take out as many of
the machines as possible.
Jason jumps back, trying to find ammo that would work in his
jacket. Jason: Will the magnetic field of varanium bullets work
on them? Other than that, I didn't bring a lot of other ammo
types with me other than incendiary ammo since I didn't have
time to prepare. He asks Raven, trying to find something not
explosive.
Merlyn continues firing his explosive arrows into the group, not
caring about the smell or the group getting covered in fluids
since he was up on a roof at place he likely wouldn't get hit
with the fluids.
As Kendrix notices Merlyn continuing to fire arrows, he looks at
the roof Merlyn was on. Kendrix: Merlyn! For f*cks sake! We're
getting drenched in fluids down here! Stop with the explosive
arrows, godd*mnit! He says to Merlyn.
Merlyn: That's not my problem, is it? Put some distance and
attack them from a distance. You can all attack from a distance
right? He says, knowing those with enhanced hearing would hear
him.
Milos looks to Hei. Milos: He is... as you Americans say...
"a*shole." He says sarcastically.

Pride and five of the seven other men that’s with him manage to
take down several more without explosive rounds while the other
two switch out ammunition to slugs. Pride had to pause a couple
of times to fight back a bit of a gag reflex as the smell isn’t
getting better. Pride: I don’t think I’ll be able to take enough
showers after this.
Dirk [I]BBVD band member[/I]: You can take enough showers. It’s
just can you stand using borax? He fires several time at a
necroborg trying to get the werewolf from behind, taking it
down.
Karl [I]BBVD band member[/I]: Hey! It could be worse. He says as
he finishes reloading his automatic shotgun with .410 slugs.
Dirk: How?
Karl: It could be the middle of the hottest month of the year.
He says as he locks the clip back into place and loads the
chamber of the shotgun.
Dirk: Good point. Dirk takes one more shot at a necroborg near
the Gangrel vampire. Dirk: By the way, Dewayne. I hope those
supers that I keep missin’ are part of your team.
Pride looks to where Dirk is firing and sees Gregorio, LaSalle,
and Percy. He gets a grin as he goes back to firing at
necroborgs that are still moving slowly into the alley behind
the theater. Pride: Yeah, three of them are my people. The other
two must be friends so be careful not to hit them.
Dirk: Right on, daddy-o. Dirk goes back to firing at the few
necroborgs in the front of the theater which has now shrunk to a
mere 10 now. The bulk of the necroborgs have surrounded Petro,
Raven, Kendrix, Hei, Alice, Jason, and Illias. The group in
front of the theater also do not know about the arrival of
Mister Sinister, Warp, and Katsuki.
Fetu was about to respond to Theo until he hears Caleb. Fetu
gets a snarl across his face as he quickly charges up his left
foot for a kinetic energy quake attack. Fetu: Someone should
teach this maile [I](Samoan for dog)[/I] some manners. In a haka
[I](Maori/Polynesian war dance)[/I] like stomp, Fetu stomps the
ground with his left foot with a throaty roar and releases
enough kinetic energy through the ground at Caleb that the
ground cracks in the path. This causes a localized earthquake
strong enough to knock Caleb and anyone in a 20ft radius around
him to the ground. Fetu: It’s rude to interrupt. This
interruption leave Fetu open for a brief few moments.
Warp’s Annabel personality instantly takes over the instant the
dark water drops away from her after the teleportation. It was
inevitable with the amount of fear energy that Kendrix is
producing, but faster than Sinister had planned on. He manages
to use his telepathy to manipulate Annabel’s hand with the DNA
collection drone open. This works. Annabel opens her hand, and
the drones [I](no bigger than mosquitoes)[/I] fly off towards
Kendrix. They hover around him and wait for a safe moment to
land as he evaporates the necrofluids. Annabel on the other
giggles at Kendrix as she feeds off his fear energy and creates
fear constructs of Freddy Kruger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers,
the demon from Jeepers Creepers, and the Creature from the Black
Lagoon to surround Kendrix from what she absorbed. Annabel:
Gee.. it’s not that bad. Just a little zombie goo. You’re acting
like it’s killing you.
Katsuki can sense her Darkfire relatives especially Hei and
Raven. She frowns behind her obsidian black mask as the dark
water falls away from her while behind Merlyn. She knows that
she’s being watched by at least Silver Fox though Sinister has
strong connections with his own technology. She knows that she
has to fight for Sinister and Wilcox against her own family in
order to have time to figure out how to save kids like Cyber.
Luckily, Merlyn doesn’t sense as a Darkfire. Normally she would
announce her presence, but she was unhappy with the fact that
Merlyn was using explosive arrows while her family was on the
ground. That made not caring about Merlyn’s safety even better.
Instead, she maintains her stealth by quietly raising her right
hand while a dark water blade forms in it. She takes a steady
aim at Merlyn’s bowstring and whips the dark water blade at the
sting with the intention of cutting it clean.
Meanwhile, Sinister releases five more DNA collection drones and
send them to collect DNA from Hei, Alice, Raven, Petro, and
Milos. He’s quite impressed with what he does see so far but
would like to see more such as seeing Hei’s powers. He hopes
that with Illias walking back out and appearing to be at full
power might just push to see what Hei and perhaps Alice can do.
As Merlyn’s explosive arrows take out several more necroborgs,
four manage to get near Hei and Alice. These four necroborgs
lunge at Hei and Alice with bayonets on their guns, two lunge at
Hei and two lunge at Alice.
Silver Fox monitors everything with Cyber from the temporary
base. She frowns when she sees that Fetu is still fighting Theo
and now Caleb. Silver Fox: Damnit! I told him to join the others
at the theater. Why is he still messing with Taz and his
friends?
Cyber: ‘Cause Wetty Fetty has had beef with Theo the size of the
Death Star since the day Theo about killed him. Cyber says as
she frowns at how many necroborgs had been blown up. The number
of functional necroborgs now being 39 from 60. She watches as
three of the 10 necroborgs that went after Mystique and got
ambushed finally join the rest of the D-Troop necroborgs. Cyber:
You know I could’ve had these necroborgs shut down in a
heartbeat if I was in the field instead of letting these
vigilantes destroy millions of government dollars, right?
Silver Fox: Mister Sinister had warned against using them in
this case and is now letting Admiral Wilcox eat crow over
forcing the issue.
Cyber: Wow.. Nazi scuzball scientist has a half ass moral
compass against a corrupt authoritarian. Whoopie-do.. She says
sarcastically as she pulls out a blunt of some fine OG Kush,
sits back, and lights it. She hates the necroborgs but not
enough to stink up most of New Orleans like this. Cyber really
hated being one of the few people who can’t teleport and wanted
to be in the field. So since she can’t, she’s decided to drive
Silver Fox nuts by smoking a blunt. Cyber: Still say.. trying to
speak while holding a hit ..that I should be allowed to Jedi
mind trick the borgs. Silver Fox just bites her tongue as she
realizes that Cyber is trying to goad her into either an
argument or letting her go into the field.
Raven hits the ground after Petro manages to get them both out
of the way of bullets. She happens to hear Jason’s question
about the bullets and answers while standing again. Raven: Yes,
Jason! Those will work very well especially with being magnetic.
Try aiming for exposed circuits or anything that looks
computerized. The magnetic energy should mess with the computer
components. She then takes aim with her right hand at the
necroborgs coming in behind the group and fires white granite
arrows at several necroborgs using her White Earth manipulation.
Petro gets himself into a crouching position, pulls a gun, and
begins firing at the same group of necroborgs as Raven. Petro:
Why is that mudak [I](Russian for @sshole)[/I] on roof still
firing explosive arrows? That smell is unbearable. Petro’s
Russian accent gets thick with frustration as he takes it out on
necroborgs.
Illias still surveys the chaos of the fight from the backstage
door. He then sees Warp as she feeds off Kendrix fear energy and
creates fear construct familiars around. Warp’s appearance alone
tells Illias how much further this can go especially if Fetu and
Sinister are nearby. From the top step to the backstage door,
Illias raises both of his hands which begin to crackle and snap
with normal electrical energy running along them. He doesn’t
take much aim at the necroborgs but instead focuses on the right
amount of voltage needed to short circuit the mechanical portion
of the necroborgs. He knows this means a more limited range but
it’s more honorable than risking the safety of the strangers
fight the zombified cyborgs. He releases the charge in either
direction with a bolt from his right hand just safely passing by
Hei while Illias luckily has more clearing to his left. This
attack manages to short circuit a total of 6 necroborgs.
Erin is glad that she has more time to look over how the power
inhibitor is implanted into skin on Willow. Erin frowns a bit
when looking at the prongs on the one from Illias and back to
Willow. Erin: I gonna be needin’ ta get some anesthetic to numb
the area, mon ami. There be no better way without causing pain.
She says as she goes back into her medical bag for the drug.
Willow: Um.. You might want to grab something that can be used
on people with regeneration then. Willow says sheepishly with a
sheepish grin.
Erin looks back to Willow with a questioning look. Erin: Say
what?
Willow: I have a pretty powerful regeneration, but I’m also a
total wuss when it comes to high pain.
Erin: Seigneur! Erin exclaims as she goes for the supernatural
grade anesthetic that she luckily has in her field medic’s bag.
She then grabs a syringe and fills with hopefully enough to keep
Willow numb while she removes the device. Erin: You will feel a
little pinch and then hopefully numb. Erin says as she put the
needle in near the power inhibitor device and injects anesthetic
into the location.

Gregorio, LaSalle and Percy continue taking down the robots with
help. The Gangrel vampire and the werewolf noticed that they
were getting aid when the borgs that try to attack them were
taken down by the band.
Gangrel Vampire: Friends of yours, Tammy?
Gregorio: turns to see Pride and the band. She smiles a bit as
she takes down one cyborg Eyup. That one guy over there is the
one I was talking about earlier. The others with him must be the
band I saw earlier. Seems like they got into their hunter modes
to take these things down.
Werewolf: As long as they're not trying to put a bullet in my
ass, they're alright.
The group manage to slowly make their way closer to Pride and
the band, hoping to help finish the metallic horde invasion.
LaSalle: Hey, Pride! Nice to see that you guys are okay.
Percy: Have you heard from Taz, Ellie or Caleb? They should be
here minutes ago.
Gregorio: That's not good. Those three are normally the first
ones on the front lines. Maybe Sebastian knows where they are
since he's still back at headquarters.
The earthquake knocked Caleb back to the ground, making him fall
back on his back with a harsh thud. Ellie also was knocked back
despite trying to use her blades to pin herself to the ground.
The sight of his friends getting hurt again made Theo's eyes
widen in rage. His eyes change to demonic yellow as he use
Fetu's distraction to turn around, lunge at him and perform a
Tornado DDT wrestling move on him.

After realizing his shadows fear energy was being used, Kendrix
has to stop using his shadows in order to avoid his fear energy
being absorbed. Kendrix sighs, annoyed at the horror villains,
as they appear around him. Kendrix: That's all you got? A bunch
of B-list horror villains? He points at them as he starts
absorbing their fear energy. Jason and Michael are boring cliche
killers... Black Lagoon is just a stupid looking frog man... And
Freddy is a child rapist. He absorbs the fear energy of the
horror villains, but as he looks at the Jeepers Creepers demon,
he stops for a moment. He then points to it. Kendrix: Okay...
That one's not bad. I'll take that one. I feel like I can use
that one on someone. He says as he sends his shadow to try and
absorb the soul of the Jeepers Creepers demon to turn it into a
familiar if possible. He was being careful, as thanks to the
technokinesis powers, he could sense the drones that were trying
to land near him, and he didn't want to let an enemies robots
just do whatever they want.
Hei uses Sonido to try and get behind the robots as they attack,
having a knife in his hands he uses to try and cut what he
assumed were the back of the necks spinal column to hopefully
incapacitate the robots. Meanwhile, Alice uses her celerity to
dodge the attacks and then tries to use the Fist of Caine from
her Potence training to try and punch through the robots (in
which her combat training in the potence discipline was strong
enough to basically Saitama most opponents and destroy a large
chunk of their bodies in one blow if she hits them with the raw
strength she could use thanks to her Brujah training).
Jason puts in a cartridge of varanium bullets and starts firing
on the robots, doing exactly as Raven said and aiming for the
circuitry he could see or his helmet's scanners could find.
Milos takes a moment before walking back toward the group, ready
to fight again. He was trying not to breath through his nose so
that he wouldn't smell what was around him. He gets ready to
attack anyone that might get in the way.
Merlyn turns to Katsuki, reacting to her presence and her intent
to attack (thanks to his combat sense of being able to sense
murderous intent), and parries her water blade rather than
trying to block it by trying to parry it to the side (Which
required only moving to the side and trying to hit the attack
slightly to the side). He just smiles as he realizes the water
blade seemed to be a Darkfire elemental (Since he'd seen Hei and
Alice's elemental powers enough times to recognize Darkfire
abilities. Merlyn: Trying to sneak up on the second in command
of the League of Assassins? You're either bold or stupid. I'm
not sure which yet. He says confidently.

Pride fires on two more cyborgs as he listens to Percy, LaSalle,
and Gregorio. Pride: I’m worry about them too as I ain’t heard
from them, but Theo, Caleb, and Ellie can take care of
themselves. He looks and see where some necroborgs are joining
the back flanking portion of the necroborgs. Pride: Gregorio,
take LaSalle, Dirk, Glen, and your two friends to work on the
rot bots goin’ around the other side of the theater. Percy, try
to get a hold of Sebastian. If that fails…
Pride is cut off by Karl and his automatic shotgun as Karl spins
and takes down one of three necroborgs running from the
direction of Theo, Caleb, and Ellie. Karl: How many of these
things are there? He says as he takes careful aim at another of
the clumsy charging necroborgs. Dirk and Glen take a moment to
work their way over to Gregorio.
Glen: Not sure, but I sure as Hell hope there’s no more of these
rotters! I ain’t gonna be able to visit my mother in east L.A.
for 6 months at this rate!
Pride sees how the clumsy necroborgs seem to be recovering from
a sharp turn around the corner just a block down from them. He
knew what direction that road goes. Pride: Scarp that, Percy.
Take that corner them rot bots came from. It leads to the old
cemetery. I remember Theo and the others talking about stopping
and paying respects. If they’re not followin’ those things, then
somethin’ has them hung up at the cemetery.
With her job now done and others involved, Mystique just manages
to turn into a raven and fly off out of sight. She has decided
that the good guys can handle the rest of the mess.
Fetu is taken off guard by Theo’s move but recovers from the
shock quick enough to create a soft yet firm cushion of white
water to keep DDT move from breaking his neck. Once he hits the
cushion of white water, Fetu aims his hands at Theo and attempts
to blast him in the chest with dark water beams.
In frustration while watching a video feed of Fetu, Silver Fox
yells at Fetu through his communicator. Silver Fox: [I]”Damnit,
Tsunami! Teleport Theo with you if you need to but get to the
theater NOW before we lose bigger control of this
situation!”[/I]
Cyber: Told ya! Fester and Theo have gone full MTV Deathmatch
this time, Fox. Cyber says between hits off of her blunt.
Cyber: LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLE! She then takes a hit
that’s just a bit too big and begins to choke cough a huge cloud
of pot smoke right at Silver Fox which makes her softly swear in
her native language. Cyber: Oopsie.. Sorry, Fox. She tries to
say without laughing and still snickers.
Silver Fox: [I]”Night Reaper, disable your opponent quickly and
put him in cuffs if needed. I need you to teleport Cyber into
the field before more of the necroborgs are destroyed.”[/I]
Silver Fox calls out to Katsuki through her communicator.
Sinister watches the different interactions that Warp and
Katsuki. He can sense how his collection drones are having
difficulties finding a spot to land on Kendrix. This piques his
interest in Kendrix even more than before. Sinister: Well if my
drones can’t land on him, then may be Warp can get me a sample
in her own special way. He muses to himself as he looks down
from the roof. He recalls the two drones from their pursuit of
Kendrix and telepathically communicates with Warp/Annabel.
Sinister: [I]”Annabel, he would make an excellent addition to
your house. Why not take him there and have fun? But do make
sure that Taya can get some blood from the young man.”[/I] He
knew that Warp/Taya could hear his telepathic words and would
take a pleasure in getting a DNA sample from Kendrix. He keeps
his focus on Warp/Annabel and Kendrix as the recalled drones
land in a special pocket.
The Jeepers Creepers demon, like the other cheesy horror
monsters, is a fear construct made from pure fear energy and has
no soul. It absorbs into Kendrix as easily as his own Pride fear
shadows. Annabel head twitches a bit as she hears Sinister in
her mind. She LOVES the idea of taking Kendrix into her pocket
dimension alternate reality! She gets an eerie little girl grin
across her face as she carefully approaches Kendrix.
Warp/Annabel: Awww… you didn’t like all of my friends? I bet you
would love to see my house though. Her head twitches a bit and
then she mumbles something to the side of her that Kendrix can’t
make out. She then looks back to Kendrix with the same eerie
little girl smile. Warp/Annabel: I have so much better horrors
there that would love to play with you. head twitches I bet they
would even make you their king. She stops just out of fist swing
range while taking Taya’s advice to create a protective shield
of fear energy just in case.
Katsuki refrains from a growl as she listens to Merlyn. Just
like a pompous League assassin is what runs through her mind as
he speaks. She raises her left hand and begins the Tanaka Ki
Build Hand Mantra to start raising her ki energy for a possible
fight. Katsuki: If I was trying to sneak up on you, then you
would never have known until after it was too late, assassin.
As is common with the Tanaka technique, Katsuki doesn’t need to
concentrate on it to build extra ki energy as she talks. She
then reaches to her neck with her right hand and pulls out her
Department of Defense Special Agent badge to show it to Merlyn.
Around this time, she hears Silver Fox but chooses to ignore
her. She decides quickly on which name to give if asked as she
refuses to use her government issued code name.. marriage last
name will work. Katsuki: Instead my objective is to stop you
from further destruction of government property and possible
injury of innocent civilians with the authority of the
Department of Defense. I am fully authorized to disable by any
means and apprehend should you refuse an official order of cease
and desist. The whole time her left hand continues the Tanaka
hand mantra and builds extra ki energy quickly in way that
suggests she’s a master of her art. Katsuki: I would appreciate
it if you would do this the easy way, but I know the League of
Assassins too well to expect that to happen.
Hei manages to get behind the two slower necroborgs easily and
completely severs the zombified spin of one of the two
necroborgs causing it to collapse to the ground. The other
necroborg has an armored cybernetic spine which just holds
against Hei’s attack. This necroborg attempts a clumsy arm swing
with its robotic arm at Hei’s head. The DNA collection drone
sent for Hei finds a spot just at the base of the back of his
head while he’s distracted with the necroborgs. It lands and
quickly, painlessly goes to work by piercing Hei’s skin with its
mosquito like needle and drawing blood.
The two necroborgs fighting Alice are easily out moved by her
speed and grace. With her attack against the first necroborg, it
doesn’t take much for her to punch through its stomach and hit a
small necrofluid reservoir tank and pump attached to a partial
cybernetic spine. The next hit heavily damages the necroborg’s
brain which shuts it down as fluids begin to leak from
everywhere. The second necroborg is a bit of a challenge torso
wise but chunks of rotting flesh fly off the legs and an arm
while the elbow joint of the robotic arm freezes in a straight
position from damage. The DNA collection drone sent to land on
Alice is having a harder time finding a safe spot with the
flurry of her attack.
Raven’s idea works like a charm for Jason as his bullets begin
causing major movement issues for the necroborgs struck by him.
One stops moving completely.
Petro continues to make as many head shots with hollow tip
rounds as possible. He does notice that Merlyn has stopped
blowing up necroborgs and makes a smartarse comment about it.
Petro: Ah finally. Someone has stopped Mr. Explosive Arrow
Mudak.
Raven: Less sarcasm, more attacking, Petro. Raven says as she
fires off more white granite arrows at the nercoborgs coming
from behind the group.
Number of necroborgs is quickly dropping as the zombified
cyborgs are proving to be no match for the faster and more
powerful supers.
Illias focuses another round of low voltage bolts at several
more necroborgs before noticing how much closer Warp/Annabel has
gotten to Kendrix. He knows that isn’t good but hopes that
Sinister and Fox wouldn’t let Warp/Annabel take Kendrix to her
reality. All her mannerisms though suggests that’s exactly what
Warp/Annabel might be thinking. Illias: I hope someone can
produce unicorns so we can distract that agent over there with
your friend! He calls out to Raven, Petro, and Hei about
Warp/Annabel and Kendrix just before dodging and zapping an
attacking necroborg that had charged up the stairs.
Three necroborgs attempt to attack Milos at one time with the
third one taking itself to the ground as it loses coordination
ability in one leg from one of Petro’s bullets.
Erin: Are you numb there, mon ami? Erin asks after injecting a
near overdose level of the numbing agent into Willow and removes
the needle. Erin then touches the area with the forceps.
Willow waits a moment before answering. Willow: If you’re doing
something back there, then yes, I’m numb for now. The drug also
starts to give her LSD like light trails behind moving objects.
Willow: Oh wow.. that is some really good numbing drug.
Erin doesn’t say anything but is glad that the drug is working
as she quickly gets to work at carefully removing the power
inhibitor before the numbing drug wears off.

Gregorio: On it! Luisa and Matteo, follow me!
Percy: Got it!
LaSalle: Be careful, King! I got a feeling that there's more to
this than some zombie robots.
Gregorio makes a follow me gesture to Dirk, Glen and LaSalle
before running to the other side of the theater. The werewolf
known as Matteo and the vampire known as Luisa hears Gregorio
and follows close to LaSalle and Gregorio after performing a
team attack on a few borgs. Percy ran towards the corner the rot
bots came from and head straight towards the cemetery as fast as
she could.
Meanwhile, Ellie and Caleb begin to recover from the earthquake
attack that Fetu performed. The impact has made Caleb turned
into his false rougarou form. His shirt and shoes were ripped up
due to the transformation but his pants are still intact (Thank
God as well). Caleb softly growls as he felt a cold chill next
to him. He turned to see Ellie looking just as mad as Caleb due
to her ice aura slowly flaring up. When Ellie noticed Theo
getting blasted away, Ellie tries to impale Fetu's limbs with
ice as she gets up and stalks towards him with her blades ready.
Ellie: I'm putting an end to this.
As Ellie prepares to fight Fetu, Caleb use his false rougarou
speed to catch Theo before he hit the ground and set him down on
his feet. Theo shook his head as he begins to recover. Dark
elements doesn't do damage to him but the impact did sting a
little.
Caleb: You okay, bro?
Theo: Yeah. Thank God dark elements doesn't do jack sh*t to me.
But that water impact hurts like a bitch. Seriously, what the
hell did that creep pump into that asshole? It's like I'm
fighting an actual supernatural creature or something.
Caleb: We'll worry about that later. Hopefully with Sebby's
help. Right now, we need to take this creep down fast. We gotta
use that move once we see an opening. You know what I'm talking
about.
Theo: grins widely Oh, hell yeah! Let's do it!

Milos: No... Your friend makes point. Only way Merlyn would stop
is if someone MADE him stop. Which means he may be in trouble.
He says to Raven about Petro's comment trying to see if Merlyn
was in trouble.
Hei felt the robot land on his neck due to his enhanced senses
(which included enhanced sense of touch), and thought it was
just a normal mosquito. Applying his usual tactic of trying to
hit it with a charge of electricity, that was the last thought
he gave the "mosquito" so he could focus on the fight at hand,
now knowing the robot would probably be resistant to the
electricity. He dodges the attack of the robot, and sidesteps
behind it, trying to slice the back of its neck to sever its
spinal cord with Hei's attack prepared to slice through metal if
there was armor on the back of the neck (which would hopefully
paralyze it if it doesn't outright disable it).
Alice goes for the head of the second necrobot, hoping to take
it out. Since with her potence disipline she was able to punch
through metal, Alice wasn't too worried about it while she tries
to avoid breathing in the smells coming off the necrobots.
Kendrix: Darn... I was hoping that would work. He says as he
realizes the demon he tried to absorb was just another fear
construct. He then turns to Warp/Annabel. Okay... I don't wanna
tell you how to villain or anything, lady. But you're coming on
a little cliche for a horror villain. You want to scare someone,
actions speak louder than words. Kendrix summons a a few souls
from his collection of souls under his command that he had
twisted into shadow-like spirits using similar concepts to human
souls twisted into dark spirits or even twisted into demons. The
creatures he summons are silent, but clack their teeth together
as they walk, almost as though they were emphasizing wanting to
eat. The creatures seem to move unnaturally, almost like they
had trouble moving (though they didn't), and their appearance
not having any arms seemed to be a hindrance if it weren't for
the flexibility of its spine and central body that seems to
twist and contort around, making snapping and cracking sounds as
the bones moved on the body. The ribs were also moving like an
insect's legs back and forth, almost like they wanted to grab
someone and pull them in to their chest He had summoned three of
the creatures, which just stand silent for a moment. Kendrix:
You want to scare someone... You should let your work speak for
itself... Well, metaphorically. He says the last part with a
shrug since the creatures he summoned were not talking. I got
others if you want to see more. These are just one of the guys I
came up with.
Jason looks over at Kendrix's creatures and lecturing Annabel on
how to be more scary. Jason: Seriously, kid... You are messed up
in the head. He says sarcastically.
When Merlyn sees the DoD ID, he throws his hands up in the air
in frustration. Merlyn: And we circle back to stupid! He says to
Katsuki. He then looks to Katsuki and points to everyone
fighting. Those people are all members of at least two
organizations working for the British government down there. YOU
people attacked us. Black Sun only responded in self defense
when one of our allies was attacked by you people. You should
know Black Sun right? We have alliances with the US Government
too! He says, somewhat annoyed. Now... Call off your people and
robots, before you MORONS turn this into an international
incident! He says angrily. He was harsher than he needed to be,
but that was just his nature.
Meanwhile, Milos was tuning his senses to Merlin to see if he
was in trouble and hears Merlin's talk. He then turns to Raven.
Milos: Um... Miss... Raven, right? He says to Raven. Why are you
and your people fighting American DoD? He asks curiously. There
wasn't any judgement or sarcastism in Milos voice, as it was
obvious he was trying to understand the situation considering no
one said anything about the robots being DoD.

Pride fires on the necroborgs as Gregorio with her assigned team
and Percy both take off on their orders. Scotty gets next to
Pride as their team moves in closer to help surround the
nercoborgs. A grin is spread across the singer’s face as they
move closer to the alleyway. Scotty: Hey, Dewayne! Remember when
that kid accidentally rose zombies at a Confederate cemetery
outside of town?
Pride: Yeah, It be my misfortune to remember that one. Pride
speaks as he focuses on head shots while moving forward. Pride:
Thankfully the Vampire Council and White Council gave some back
up with that clean up.
Scotty: This is kinda reminds me of that occasion but without
the zombies trying to eat everyone! Scotty says with a laugh as
he puts another round in a necroborg. Pride just groans as he
lines up another shot.
As Dirk and Glen follow Gregorio, LaSalle, Matteo, and Lusia,
Dirk takes a careful aim with his pistol as they move. Glen is
more nonchalant with a 12 gauge loaded with slugs. Glen takes a
clumsy aim at one necroborg that is just near the corner of the
theater in the direction that the group is heading. The sound of
the shot and the damaged borg collapsing is loud but none of the
other necroborgs react. Dirk notices this now that his brain is
getting calmer from the initial adrenaline rush. Dirk: These rot
bots have an intended target hardwired into their objectives.
Glen: Street English, Dirk.
Dirk: They’re so focused on their target that they won’t attack
anything not standing in the way.
Glen: So they’re sittin’ ducks for us! Glen says as he takes aim
at another necroborg. The portion of necroborgs on this side of
the theater’s alleyway has more since not many have been
attacked nor attacking, just advancing.
Fetu is more perceptive to how the situation of his fight is
going. That perception allows him to see Ellie’s ice impalement
attack and dark water teleport just in time for the ice spears
to miss. A spout of dark water appears on the other side of
Theo, Caleb, and Eleanor in the direction heading towards the
theater. He’s now standing on his feet with a vicious grin.
Fetu: Figured out who’s DNA Doc Essex juiced me with yet,
tiapolo [I](Samoan for devil)[/I]? Hint. Kyōdai nefirimu
[I](Japanese for brother nephilim)[/I]. Fetu knew that Katsuki’s
nickname for Theo should be enough to give away who’s DNA had
been used to enhance Fetu. As Fetu speaks, he also begins to
slowly walk backwards towards the Vampire Theater while readying
himself for a possible attack. His scheming mind thinking of
every way to get Theo to follow and watch as Illias and Willow
are captured.
Cyber/Azia keeps smoking her blunt as she watches the fight
between Theo and Fetu on one of the monitors. Cyber: It’s
interesting that Fetty hasn’t used white water on Theo knowing
about his fallen nephilim side. Her stoner brain then thinks
something else as she watches the fight. Cyber: I wonder if I
can do a tor stream to some of my fellow Anons.
Silver Fox: Don’t even think about it further, Cyber! Silver Fox
says with a growl in her voice.
Cyber: Kill joy… Cyber mumbles as she takes another hit of her
blunt.
Silver Fox: sighs in exasperation For the love.. I really wish
Katsuki would just teleport you out there already.
Katsuki finishes gathering ki energy and then does another hand
mantra to activate a ki body force field as she listens to
Merlyn. She then calmly walks over to the ledge of the roof as
she lowers her left hand. Katsuki: Actually we, living agents,
were sent in as clean up crew for Admiral Wilcox’s decision to
use improperly tested technology on what was suppose to be a
discreet rogue agent retrieval mission. She then points to
Illias who still on the steps of the backstage door. His teenage
youth is obvious to someone like Merlyn. Katsuki: The
malfunctioning zombie borgs were suppose to retrieve that
runaway teenage agent in a discreet manner. She then pulls her
hand back to her side. Katsuki: I would have happily allowed you
to continue blowing up rot bots if it wasn’t for the fact that I
can sense my family down there. As for the “international”
incident part of your moving speech… She gladly points to
Sinister on the roof across from Merlyn and herself. Katsuki: He
has made the call to disable unauthorized foreign actions
against United States military defense equipment. At least that
is how Mr. Sinister will put it to higher authorities within the
DoD and will more than likely have Admiral Wilcox’s backing. She
then lowers her hand to her side again. She finishes with a
lowered voice as she turns off her communicator in a discreet
manner that only Merlyn would notice due to how close he is to
her. Katsuki: I can bring someone who can stop the necroborgs
though it would be against my team leader’s orders. I just need
a distraction for Sinister in order to do it. Game? Of course,
Katsuki does have her own reasons for getting Sinister
distracted. She just hoped that Merlyn might gain a hint of what
is going on from what she has said. To say any more than that
could gain her or one of the kids she’s taken under wing a
painful “session” with Sinister. She would risk herself but
never someone like Azia or Inkanyezi.
Warp/Annabel’s eyes get wide as she watches Kendrix summon a few
of his soul familiars with an “oooooo” sound. She then hops and
claps excitedly once the monsters have completely formed. Just
the horrific sight of the creatures summoned by Kendrix is
enough to keep Annabel strong enough to keep control of Warp’s
body. Warp/Annabel: Hehehe!! They’re amazing! They’re
beautifully horrific!! Let me try! Warp/Annabel then stops
hopping but still has a giddy, evil smile as fear energy flares
around her as she thinks about Kendrix’s advice. The energy then
flows behind her and forms a solid fear construct of a twisted
demonic creature that looks like something for H.R. Giger’s
nightmares. Warp/Annabel: Yay! I did it! She says as she quickly
tries to hug Kendrix in pure excitement. Being this close to
Warp/Annabel, Kendrix can sense the power inhibitor device on
the back of her neck, that it's functional but disabled, and can
deliver a powerful taser shock straight to the nervous system.
Warp/Annabel: Please say you’ll be my friend and teach me how to
make scarier, stronger monsters! Please! Please! Please!
Sinister sees the interaction between Kendrix and Warp/Annabel
which builds his interest in Kendrix more. This also distracts
him from observing the interaction between Katsuki and Merlyn
closer. He’s just happy that she has stopped Merlyn from
exploding the necroborgs and leaving a larger mess of classified
government property to clean up.. though Sinister isn’t really
that concerned with destruction of test models. His biggest
interest has become Kendrix and how powerful he is. Sinister
begins to wonder if the creation of the ultimate warrior against
Apocalypse might lie buried in Kendrix’s DNA. Sinister does sigh
a bit when Warp/Annabel goes school girl excited and tries to
hug Kendrix.
Illias sees some of what is going on between Kendrix and
Warp/Annabel as he dodges attacks and helps Raven and crew
disable the necroborgs while Katsuki points at him. He already
suspects what will happen when he sees her clapping and hopping
at Kendrix’s creations. Illias: Now there’s what Willow or Theo
would call a face palm moment. Illias says to himself as he
tosses an attacking necroborg from the stairs back into the
group of necroborgs. He walks down the stairs to the theater’s
backstage door and towards Kendrix as Illias realizes that
Warp/Annabel is developing a very quick, possibly dangerous
liking to Kendrix. Illias does pause a moment when he hears
Milos calling out to Raven. All of this is coming to a head, and
Illias knew it as he hears Raven’s response.
Raven stops attacking long enough to give Milos a questioning
look. Raven: What do you mean we’re fighting the DoD?? They
should know who I am and who this theater belongs to if it’s
DoD! Why would the DoD attack my theater and surround my people?
Illias steps to where both Milos and Raven can both see and hear
him. His 16 year old age obvious to both of Milos and Raven.
Illias: Because these improperly tested necroborgs were sent in
to retrieve me and my friend for escaping the Weapon X Program.
Victor Creed said that Lady Raven and Black Sun could protect
us.
Raven: You’re the package that Victor is suppose to send me for
James? Raven exclaims to Illias in surprise which slowly turns
to anger as she remembers a conversation with Mystique months
ago about the Weapon X Program. Mystique said that the program
was unethical but never mentioned d*mn kids being involved.
Illias: plainly and emotionless Yes, I am part of it.
Raven fires several more white granite darts at a couple of
advancing nercoborgs while mumbling just loud enough where Milos
would probably hear her. Raven: I’m punching Pilgrim in his good
eye and castrating Sabretooth the next time I see them for
getting me involved. She regains herself a bit and speaks louder
to Illias. Raven: Young man, we need to have a very serious talk
once this is over.
Illias zaps a necroborg that was coming up behind Milos as Raven
talks to him. Illias: Yes, ma’am.
Hei manages to hit just the right spot on the back of the
necroborg’s neck where his knife severs the flesh spinal cord
with the cybernetic spinal column. Severing the connection this
high up on the necroborg causes the whole thing to collapse with
a couple of twitches before shutting down. The first necroborg
that Hei had dropped isn’t completely done but slowing from
fluid loss as it tries to drag itself at Hei for a bite attack.
With one necroborg down and one dragging slowly, another
necroborg charges Hei with blade pointed at Hei’s stomach. The
DNA collection drone is unaffected by Hei’s counter to it as it
completes its mission, withdraws its needle from Hei’s neck, and
flies off back to Sinister.
Alice’s punches through the metal helmet of the necroborg and
easily crushes the rotting flesh and bone head. Fluids and brain
matter almost exploding through the damaged helmet. Another
necroborg tries to stab at Alice with a blade from behind. As
Alice punches the necroborg, the DNA collection drone finds a
spot just near the back of Alice’s neck, lands, proceeds in
piercing its needle, and collecting a sample.
A DNA collection drone flies around Milos and looks for a spot
to land while he was distracted with Raven. It finds a spot in
that hard to reach spot in near the middle of Milos’ back,
lands, and starts the DNA collection process as programmed.
A necroborg makes a football tackler style charge straight for
Jason.
Frin carefully works as fast as she can at removing the power
inhibitor on Willow. She manages to get two of the prongs
disconnected as a bit of blood runs before the wounds quickly
heal. Erin just prays that the numbing drug continues to work a
moment longer as she works on the last two prongs of the device.
Erin: They really embedded dis ting deep, but we almost there.
Willow: Good because I don't feel as giddy as before and can
kinda feel the pressure from you working on removing the device.
Erin: Merde! I'm working as fast as I can, mon ami. Just try to
bare through it if the medicine wear off.
