       wen he was younger when someone said Kierran wouldn't amount to
       anything since Kierran was an orphan
       "Respect you? What is it about you that I should hold in such
       high regard? Because I see nothing worthy of my respect." -
       Tarich to someone who demanded his respect
       "Anger is not a useful emotion... It eats away at itself, and
       leaves no satisfaction or value. Holding on to anger doesn't
       make you strong, because it becomes a crutch people rely on so
       they don't have to face their problems." - Tarich's views on how
       he overcame his anger.
       "If you want... I guess you could think of me as like an older
       brother. You are adopted too and my family is dead... So we have
       to take care of each other now." - Tarich to Kierran when Tarich
       came to live with Kierran's adopted father.
       "I don't care how unkillable the creature seems, if it bleeds, I
       can kill it. And if it doesn't, then I'll make it wish it were
       dead." - Tarich on a job to beat someone who claimed to be
       immortal.
       "No. I've never failed at catching spirits... I'm very good at
       my job." - Tarich about his time as a lost soul hunter and him
       being a ghost hunter in the living world.
       "Hollowfication is not an easy process to reverse... Purifying
       it is very difficult. But you need to fight it or it won't
       work." - Tarich trying to help a girl who was turning into a
       hollow using his mastered purifying darkness powers
       "I take orders from no one. Tell your superiors that. And tell
       them I may not be so merciful the next time one of you tries
       hunting me down. I'm done being a puppet. I don't care how
       useful they find my purification power, or how much they want my
       skills on their side." - Tarich to a death wraith he beat in
       battle who hunted him down to bring him back to the death
       wraiths.
       "I was saved from my anger by a family that cared for me... No
       matter how dark my thoughts got, Kierran and Anna were always
       family and would always help me find my way. Revon (Kierran's
       father) was also a big help to me when I needed a home. I was
       never going to match my father, who had more shadow dragon
       familiars than body hair, or match my mother who could kill an
       entire room from the shadows before they knew what hit them. I
       owe Revon Black's family everything, and it is a debt I will
       never be able to repay them... I was happy to be their teammate
       and I still consider them family. Just do me a favor, and don't
       tell them I said that. He says jokingly. Last thing I need is
       Kierran and Anna to get a big head." - Tarich about Kierran and
       Anna
       "I put up with a lot... Your father's exile, blaming us for not
       taking out Drakath's rebellion fast enough. But the last straw
       was exiling Anna. The power she has was through no fault of her
       own, and the good she's done for the death wraiths means nothing
       to them in the face of their fear of her power. I'm done with
       the council, and with it all. I watched hollow power destroy my
       family, your family, and the council blames no one but us for
       it. The council are a bunch of fools, and they refuse to listen
       to reason. Your father was right... So I'm going to evolve on my
       own... If you want to stop me from leaving, you'll have to kill
       me, Kierran. Though I don't doubt you would kill me... You're
       such a good little puppet to them." - Tarich to Kierran the day
       he left the Death Wraith order and Kierran tried to stop him.
       When Alathen and Kierran met Tarich (But Tarich didn't know it
       was Kierran at the time as Kierran was using his Assassin Zero
       outfit to hide his presence since no one was supposed to know
       Kierran was Assassin Zero), and Alathen tested Tarich.
       Alathen: Your shadow familiars cannot beat our enemy.
       Tarich: There is nothing my shadow familiars cannot devour.
       Alathen: And what if it's something as big as a dragon? He says,
       testing Tarich's response.
       Tarich summons his soul sword. Tarich: If it's too big... Then
       I'll just cut it down into bite-size pieces for them.
       Alathen looks to Kierran, pointing at Tarich. Alathen: I like
       this one.
       "From his youth, he had trouble controlling his anger. After
       watching his family be murdered by hollows, it's clear that he
       had a lot of dark thoughts to hold on to. But I suspect that he
       will grow strong enough that he will overcome. He just... needs
       a little help." - Kierran's father, Revon Black when he adopted
       Tarich Nightfall after Tarich's family was killed by a group of
       hollows.
       "Beasts in the shadows... That's a trick I I thought was lost to
       time. Just how many creatures live in that shadow of his?" - A
       Death Wraith analyzing Tarich's abilities as a Shadowtamer
       during an evaluation when he was with the death wraiths.
       "He is the only death wraith we know of that has mastered
       purifying darkness to such a degree... He is among one of the
       few that can remove corruption from death wraiths, and remove
       hollowfication. We must find a way to bring him back alive. In
       pieces if needed, but alive. At least, until he has taught our
       death wraiths his mastery of darkness purification, then he is
       expendable." - A death wraith elder who wanted to capture Tarich
       for his purification abilities in secret from the other elders
       before Aeron Kazara wiped out most of the Death Wraith Council

       Weapons:
       - Soul Sword: Blue Nebula: This sword is Tarich's soul sword,
       which is based in his dark plasma manipulation. When used, this
       sword focuses Tarich's dark plasma in battle, allowing Tarich to
       create attacks that can be used to do things like creating waves
       of plasma, or do more specific things like create explosive
       plasma, or high temperature melting plasma. All of this sword's
       abilities are based in dark plasma manipulation, in which every
       part of this sword's abilities (like Tarich's dark plasma
       abilities) specifically are darkness based plasmas in which some
       are even unique to Tarich that don't actually work
       scientifically like plasma should. Since plasma is typically
       ionized gas in a very specific state, Tarich's dark plasma
       doesn't seem to fit into any kind of normal plasma manipulation
       as it's more darkness based than energy based. As such, this
       weapon is able to use this dark plasma to create attacks, such
       as using it to create black flames that burn much hotter than
       normal flames (due to the plasma causing the flames to burn much
       hotter than they should), dark lightning (through the use of
       dark plasma's charged ions to generate electrical energy charged
       with darkness energy), and freezing darkness (in the form of
       heat sapping dark plasma that drains all the heat from an area
       till it beings freezing (More on Tarich's dark plasma
       manipulation later). This sword's dark plasma is not only
       powerful in its dark plasma energy alone though, in that the
       soul sword still works as it should (in that any darkness he
       uses in his dark plasma can generate special effects like
       deathly based dark plasma can be used to hurt lost souls or
       purifying darkness based dark plasma can be used to purify and
       destroy dark spirits). For Tarich, this weapon is a very useful
       one, and one he can use very effectively thanks to his training
       in the both the Shadow Realm and in the living world. As far as
       weaknesses go, this weapon is like most other soul weapons, in
       which too much power or strength can overwhelm the weapon, and
       the dark plasma power is countered mostly like normal plasma,
       but can also be countered to some degree by light abilities
       since the dark plasma is shadow-based in nature. Once one
       figures out how the dark plasma works, some can counter this
       using normal counters to plasma, if one can account for the dark
       power.
       - Motorcycle: Blue Guardian: This is Tarich's most prized
       motorcycle that he's built over the years. This motorcycle is a
       custom motorcycle he's built from fixed up parts, and modified
       over the years. This motorcycle is extremely fast and has
       extremely precision steering. This motorcycle uses Tarich's dark
       plasma, which is used by the bike thanks to a rune that infused
       Tarich's power into it. Thanks to the dark plasma coming off the
       bike's wheels, the dark plasma acts like a guide, allowing
       Tarich to more easily turn when going at high speeds, as the
       dark plasma works to help the bike stay on course when turning
       since high speeds usually don't allow precision turning. The
       dark plasma works like a sort of balance, allowing Tarich more
       control and precision in how he turns, in which he has been able
       to make almost 90 degree turns at high speeds most bikes
       couldn't handle. In addition, the dark plasma also enhances the
       speed of the bike, absorbing the friction of the moving parts of
       the bike and regulating the temperature of the bike due to the
       dark plasma being able to absorb heat by using a less potent
       heat absorbing plasma (designed to not be as potent since heat
       absorption is usually used by plasma manipulators to freeze
       areas, which Tarich doesn't want to happen with his bike). In
       addition to coming off the wheels, the dark plasma also comes
       off the blue parts of the bike (as the bike is a mix of blue and
       black, where the parts blue are blue due to the effects of the
       dark plasma. Lastly, there is a turbo boost button which
       utilizes his dark plasma to grant him a huge boost that he
       mostly uses in motorcycle races. When used, the dark plasma
       generates a burst of burning gas that can speed up the bike
       considerably. The turbo works much like most turbo boosts would,
       except that Tarich doesn't need a lot of extra equipment
       attached to his bike in order to have the function. This
       motorcycle, for the most part, is designed mostly for racing and
       driving on the open road, so it isn't made for battle. The bike
       relies on the dark plasma, and without it, the bike would
       operate like a normal bike would. The bike does generate it's
       own power, but one can interrupt that power if the rune that
       grants it Tarich's power is destroyed, as the bike cannot use
       the dark plasma power without it.
       - Motorcycle: Infinite Dark: This motorcycle was one that Tarich
       had built and made for his adopted brother, Kierran Black, that
       he was never able to give him. Tarich built this using death
       wraith darkness, combined with some of his spirit energy to
       grant the bike a powerful use of darkness based spirit energy
       since Tarich's soul as a death wraith is mostly darkness based.
       As a result, this bike was designed to utilize some of Kierran's
       unique skills (but only work when he is the one riding the bike
       since he is the only one that can use the skills he developed).
       Since Kierran was a spirit user and a darkness user, Tarich had
       designed this bike to be used by Kierran and allow Kierran to
       focus his techniques through it. If it were used by Kierran,
       Kierran would be able to use his infinite darkness skill fairly
       easily around him by funneling it through the bike (which can
       not only help him attack enemies but also help him control the
       bike more easily when making precise turns), and the bike would
       be able to be absorbed into its shadow in order to travel as a
       shadow using Kierran's shadow overcast skill. This bike is
       painted in both purple and black, which reflects the colors of
       the darkness abilities that Kierran uses (as Kierran's darkness
       when combined with his spirit often turned a dark purple). This
       bike also has a boost, in which it uses the spirit energy to
       boost the bike's speed by using the spirit energy to enhance the
       energy of the bike. The bike has a rune in the bike that allows
       Tarich's dark plasma to control the heat and friction of the
       bike without being seen (as the dark plasma is only visible in
       the engine and in the components of the bike where the heat
       builds up). This bike is designed solely to be used by Kierran,
       and even Tarich himself cannot use the special abilities of the
       bike since he is not a spirit user (though he can manipulate the
       plasma given off by the bike). Kierran would be able to attack
       using his own special skills, as the bike allows Kierran's
       unique skills to be used, but the skills would still have the
       same weaknesses they normally would have.
       - Motorcycle: Blackened White: This motorcycle was one that
       Tarich had built and made for Anna Shadow, someone he saw as a
       sister, as a gift that he was never able to give her (similar to
       the bike he made for Kierran). This bike was also made by using
       spirit energy, except that this was designed to harness
       corrupted spirit energy. The purpose of this was to allow Anna
       to utilize her own hollowified energy to enhance the bike, in
       which the hollowified presence could allow the bike to absorb
       that energy and utilize it. By utilizing it, Anna would be able
       to focus her hollow power into it, allowing the bike to utilize
       Anna's specific hollow abilities. For example, hollows have
       enhanced spirit energy, in which the spirit energy would also be
       generated by the bike, using spirit-based amplification to
       enhance the bike's speed and abilities. And since it could
       absorb corrupted spirit energy, it would also be able to use it,
       as Anna would be able to allow the bike to utilize the hollow
       art Hierro, which would enhance the bike's durability and make
       it much harder to break or take damage similar to how Hierro
       enhances the skin of most hollows. In addition, the bike could
       focus corrupted energy in order to fire a cero (which would
       require Anna's power to focus it). This would be useful to
       attack enemies if an enemy attacked Anna while on the bike, as
       the bike could be used to focus the blast rather than force Anna
       to have to move and fire a cero herself. The bike is designed to
       be used by Anna specifically, and is designed to utilize hollow
       power. As such, this bike has similar weaknesses to other
       hollows, such as death wraith soul swords and soul reaper
       zanpakutos. The bike can be more easily affected by spirit
       purification, which normally would work very well against
       hollows. This bike also only operates as intended if it were to
       be used by Anna Shadow, so no other being would be able to
       utilize its skills as effectively, even if it could be used by
       other hollows.
       Death Wraith Abilities:
       - Death Wraith Spiritual/Darkness Nature: The death wraiths were
       spawned of the shadow realm by Toranoraos, and are spiritual
       beings who are the very incarnations of darkness. Death wraiths
       were designed for reaping souls, with most of them being born
       into the order of death wraiths that have learned over time to
       harness their abilities for their job of reaping souls. However,
       their other main part of their darkness and spiritual nature
       comes from them being of the shadow realm, and their other job
       of keeping the denizens of the shadow realm, the dark spirits,
       from invading the living world. They are beings of shadows, but
       also of death, due to the nature of their job. A death wraith's
       main power is that of darkness and their ability to use the
       power of their spiritual nature to purify and battle lost souls,
       but most have other abilities as well that the race as developed
       over time as they learned about their heritage and how to use
       their power. Death wraiths usually serve one of two purposes,
       either hunting lost souls for the Hall of Souls, or hunting dark
       spirits who try to enter the human world. For the most part, the
       shadow realm is the life of a death wraith, and all death
       wraiths have a darkness nature. Because of this, all death
       wraiths, even hybrids, are incarnations of darkness and have
       strong darkness natures. However, being beings of darkness means
       that they are more vulnerable to beings of light, or natures of
       light since light is the natural counter to darkness. For the
       most part death wraiths are beings of darkness, with only a few
       exceptions ever being born. However, as spiritual beings, they
       are also vulnerable to blessed sea salt and iron, which can do
       damage to their more spiritual natures. Depending on how it's
       used and the severity of how much exposure, death wraiths can be
       killed if blessed sea salt or iron end up in their systems,
       which act acts one of the biggest weaknesses. Tarich is a
       standard death wraith, with his only real unique skill being his
       Shadowtamer arts passed down by his family, and his dark plasma
       manipulation that he has that is unique to him.
       - Death Energy Power/Manipulation: Just as demonic beings have
       demonic energy, or angelic beings have holy energy, death
       wraiths have death energy flowing through their bodies that
       powers their ability to use their darkness abilities. This
       energy powers a death wraith's abilities, and can be used in
       battle against enemies as a basic energy all death wraiths have.
       Those familiar with death energy know how it works, as it is the
       opposite of life energy and given off by beings of death. Death
       wraiths radiate this as one of their main energies, and this
       energy is a basic power source. Death wraiths only radiate
       enough of this to use their abilities, and don't have negative
       effects on the environment of the living world like most think
       due to death wraiths learning control of their minds and bodies
       from an early age that they learn to keep this under control.
       Death wraiths use this much like other races use death energy
       when using it on its own, such as using the rotting effects of
       death energy or using the necromancy abilities that allow one to
       create undead using death energy manipulation. When used on its
       own, death wraiths can use the death energy properties of death
       energy, and can use it like any other energy in battle. Unlike
       those like grim reapers though who manipulate both life and
       death energies, death wraiths only manipulate death energy, and
       cannot manipulate life energy. Due to this, life energy is a
       good way to counter this power, and life energy can be used
       against a death wraith's deathly nature. As one might expect,
       those that can manipulate life energy can counter death wraith's
       death energies, or other energies that counter death energy can
       also be used to counter a death wraith's death energy as well
       depending on the energy.
       - Shadow Manipulation/Primordial Shadows Manipulation: Thanks to
       the death wraiths being created from shadows of the shadow
       realm, they are able to manipulate/control shadows and even
       manipulate primordial shadows from the shadow realm. They are
       able to use shadows much like other shadow users, being able to
       use shadows to attack opponents. However, unlike other beings
       that use shadows, there are few that are more masterful of the
       use of darkness than the death wraiths. Being masters of
       shadows, death wraiths are masters of not only attacking with
       shadows, but using different forms of shadows. They are able to
       do things like creating special unique shadow techniques based
       in their skillset, change the physical form of shadows into
       liquid or solid, or even change the acidity of shadows. Certain
       people have even developed unusual darkness abilities, sometimes
       even being variations of typical shadows depending on their
       abilities as some can combine other abilities with their
       darkness to create unique abilities. Their base darkness powers
       are normal shadows and primordial shadows, despite how their
       manipulations are used, but among other darkness types to learn,
       death wraiths can learn to convert their natural darkness into
       other darkness types depending on their training and what
       darkness variations they choose to learn from their training.
       Normal shadows don't cost as much power to use but are less
       powerful, while primordial shadows are more powerful than normal
       shadows but cost more power to use as a result. Of course, as
       one might guess, most types of shadows are counter-able by
       light, or in some cases, life energy in the cases that certain
       shadows can't be dispelled by light alone. Darkness can also be
       countered by fire and lightning if one knows how to use the
       elementals properly.
       - Shadow Meld/Planeswalking: This technique, which death wraiths
       refer to as "shadow walking", lets a death wraith travel around
       using shadows, as they are able to fuse into shadows and go
       anywhere in the world as long as there is access to a shadow,
       granted there is no supernatural warding for teleportation or
       anything blocking them from connecting to the shadows in the
       area. By using shadows, they are able to travel through the
       shadow realm using the shadows, which connects every realm as
       every realm has shadows in some form. In addition to being able
       to go anywhere in the world, they are also able to go between
       afterlives as well, in which they are able to also go between
       the Veil where human souls remain after they die, since their
       job requires taking souls to the afterlife. They also have a
       special connection to go to the Hall of Souls, in which they
       usually bring lost souls or souls that aren't recorded to go
       anywhere else as part of their job to protect the living world.
       This technique requires only a death wraith to know where they
       want to go, though since they are born and raised in the shadow
       realm, most death wraith know their way around instinctively.
       This can also be used in battle to a degree, if the death wraith
       can meld into a shadow if they want to teleport around the
       battlefield, with some having special techniques using this.
       However, it is worth nothing that the death wraith has to enter
       a shadow in order to use this, and destroying a shadow can
       damage a death wraith if one does something like using a
       flashbang to temporarily negate shadows. This technique uses the
       shadows in place of teleportation techniques, and death wraiths
       can teleport using almost any kind of shadow and use it to
       connect to any other shadow as long as the area they are or want
       to go is not warded or guarded against teleportation or shadow
       travel (which some races can ward and protect against
       teleportation). Unlike dark spirits who can fuse into darkness
       without a light source, death wraiths cannot enter shadows in
       pure darkness without risking accessing the Deep Shadow Realm,
       as pure darkness often acts as a conduit for the Deep Shadow
       Realm because of how Xeles's darkness connects to the universes
       unlike the death wraith's side of the Shadow Realm, who's side
       of the Shadow Realm is connected to the shadows of the living
       world. However, this also works in reverse, where the dark
       spirits usually disappear in pure darkness rather than accessing
       shadows because of the fact they risk going into Toranoraos'
       realm where they could be hunted down and killed by death
       wraiths. However, one should know that one cannot access the
       Deep Shadow Realm in pure darkness without some sort of
       supernatural shadow movement ability, and this only happens to
       those that try to shadow meld when in pure darkness.
       - Shadow Stealth/Shadow Presence Suppression: Another technique
       using shadows, in which death wraiths can use shadows to hide
       their presence. Death wraiths are able to blend shadows around
       them, in which they are able to not only become invisible in the
       shadows, but they are also able to hide their presence from
       other supernaturals, not even being able to be sensed by anyone
       other than another death wraith or a dark spirit that uses
       shadows. Death wraiths' natural ability for stealth and shadow
       melding make this a fairly simple technique to them, where they
       are able to do it fairly easily if they have enough shadows to
       work with and are able to blend into the shadows. To most
       people, they will just see a typical shadow, which would
       normally not draw any suspicion. Though if the death wraith
       doesn't have enough shadows to work with, the shadow they blend
       with might appear unnatural, or not blend with them all the way
       to make them unable to be seen. This is a technique that death
       wraiths are able to use once mastering shadow melding, making
       stealth even easier. This makes many death wraiths masters of
       stealth, where they are able to use darkness and shadows to
       their advantage, and this technique makes them even harder to
       spot when they are trying to hide from opponents or threats.
       However, just like shadow travel, this requires blending with
       the shadows completely, and destroying the shadows with
       something like intense light can damage the death wraith if they
       don't get out of the shadows before the shadow is destroyed.
       Usually, light is the main thing to worry about, but certain
       other powers that destroy shadows can also damage death wraiths,
       such as some special fire techniques that burn shadows or holy
       power that purifies shadows.
       - Shadow/Darkness Regeneration: This power has two stages, in
       which death wraiths are able to use the power of shadows to heal
       and regenerate themselves. The first part of this is that they
       have a normal regeneration which they are able to heal from
       injuries passively, having supernatural regeneration similar to
       other supernatural creatures, except that a death wraith's
       regeneration is completely powered by darkness and shadows. This
       regeneration is able to regenerate damage by using darkness as
       it's power source, whether it is from the area around the death
       wraith or if it comes from the death wraith's own dark nature.
       This lets them regenerate most wounds, though it doesn't let
       them regenerate organs, their brain or help them against iron or
       blessed sea salt (their biggest weaknesses) unless they use the
       second stage of this regeneration. The second stage however, can
       be used to heal them completely, granted they aren't killed by
       the injuries they have. Once the death wraith melds into the
       shadows, they are able to heal much more quickly as they absorb
       the darkness of shadows or darkness they are melded into, even
       being able to heal their organs and heal from iron and blessed
       sea salt damage that can overwhelm their first stage
       regeneration. This second stage regeneration can heal far more
       than the first stage regeneration. However, due to the nature of
       this, the second stage is easier to interrupt as all one has to
       do is destroy the shadow they are melded into in order to
       prevent the death wraith from using the second stage ability. It
       is possible to interrupt the first stage regeneration with
       powerful enough light to destroy any darkness the death wraith
       might use, forcing them to use their own power to regenerate.
       This can also be interrupted with varanium and other
       regeneration negation abilities (both stages), and can keep the
       user from regenerating. Also, this doesn't work against spirit
       infections or spiritual based poisons, as either stage cannot
       fix these problems in a death wraith.
       - Shadow Weapons: Every death wraith can create shadow
       constructs to a degree, but this is an ability that uniquely
       creates darkness weapons that a death wraith can use. While each
       death wraith still has their soul bound weapons, death wraiths
       can create their own weapons made from shadows. This could be as
       simple as making swords out of shadows, or making bows and
       arrows out of shadows, or making projectile weapons like
       throwing knives or similar projectiles, or even making guns out
       of shadows (though the user has to know how guns work and be
       able to replicate that with darkness). The weapons function much
       like normal weapons (as long as the death wraith understands how
       the weapons work) and are powered by their shadow power. There
       are a number of options depending on the death wraiths given the
       number of weapon possibilities, and the weapons can be formed to
       have special darkness abilities as well. For example, a sword
       made of purifying darkness could destroy a dark spirit, or a
       deathly darkness weapon could do more damage to a lost soul.
       Death wraiths can also do things like create weapons that can
       release waves of darkness in attacks (such as a darkness sword
       being able to fire a darkness slashing wave) or shapeshift their
       weapons (like turning a sword into a chain whip), depending on
       how creative the death wraith gets with this power. Some have
       been known to create shadow scythes, shadow claw gauntlets, and
       some can even form more complex weapons depending on what the
       death wraith prefers to fight with. This offers a variety of
       options to attack when a death wraith isn't using their own
       darkness abilities. Of course, as one might expect, these
       darkness weapons are vulnerable to weaknesses to darkness such
       as light, and other creative ways to counter darkness like some
       that use fire and lightning. It is also worth noting that those
       with aura breaker weapons and energy negation abilities or items
       can also break these weapons easily since the weapons are made
       of shadows.
       - Death Wraith Elementals: Contrary to popular belief, death
       wraiths don't use shadow elementals like people think, but they
       use basic elementals based on what they have affinities for.
       However, they don't use elementals the same way mortals do, in
       which they have a different understanding of elements than
       mortals and use them a different way. For the death wraiths,
       elementals exist in one of four states of matter that they learn
       to manipulate: solid matter manipulation, liquid matter
       manipulation, gas matter manipulation, and plasma matter
       manipulation. Depending on the power gained, most are able to
       gain multiple abilities depending on the element used, in which
       their understanding in elements is more based on the
       understanding of the forms of matter than on the elements
       themselves. Each has it's own benefits, with each having
       strengths and weaknesses. Solid matter manipulation mostly
       involves earth manipulation, where death wraiths are able to
       control anything with solid structure, like glass, sand, dirt,
       rock, and even metal or concrete. Liquid matter manipulation
       lets a death wraith control liquid, in which they are able to
       control anything from acid, to water if it's in liquid form,
       even being able to control the temperature of liquids like
       creating ice and boiling liquid. Gas matter manipulation is
       similar to wind manipulation, where the user is able to control
       anything in gas form with this usually meaning controlling the
       air around them. This includes being able to control wind, but
       can be used to do things like manipulate explosive gases, create
       poisonous gases, or even create wind attacks. Plasma
       manipulation involves controlling energy, which usually consists
       mostly of controlling energy-based powers like fire, lightning
       and even radiation energy. These powers, however, also come with
       corresponding weaknesses, like solid matter manipulation being
       counter-able like any other earth manipulation and each type
       being counter-able by another form of matter manipulation in
       some way.
       - Unique Ability: Dark Plasma Manipulation: Normally, plasma
       would not be able to use darkness as darkness is not plasma in
       almost any form. This power is one that is unique to Tarich,
       that no one has been able to replicate due to it's unique
       nature. This plasma doesn't follow the usual laws of physics of
       the universes, and is a darkness based plasma that allows Tarich
       to create his own dark plasma. This dark plasma has the
       properties of plasma, but instead of being normal plasma,
       Tarich's darkness power essentially creates a plasma that is
       darkness based compared to the usual equivalents of normal
       plasma skills. For example, create a plasma based flame for
       Tarich would become a burning darkness-based plasma, or heat
       absorbing plasma would become a heat absorbing darkness with
       plasma properties. This power uses the properties of plasma, but
       is a darkness power that Tarich uses. With it, he can do a
       number of things like most plasma users such as creating
       darkness based flames, darkness based lightning, and even heat
       absorbing darkness plasma. Tarich is even able to manipulate his
       heat based dark plasma to create fire attacks, he can use
       lightning techniques like magnetic manipulation and concentrated
       lightning using his darkness plasma based lightning, and he is
       able to create ice attacks using his heat absorbing darkness
       plasma. Tarich has the ability to create this plasma by
       combining his plasma manipulation with his darkness, which
       creates the dark plasma. Tarich's specialty is using plasma
       based EM spectrum manipulation to create a light absorbing dark
       plasma, which is his way of countering light manipulation (as
       light uses the EM spectrum). When used, Tarich can even use
       special darkness types to grant him unique effects, such as his
       deathly darkness adding a death element to his dark plasma that
       can be used to do more damage to souls and living beings, or
       using his purifying darkness to do more damage to dark spirits.
       Depending on the darkness used, Tarich is able to utilize this
       for a variety of purposes. This power works much like normal
       plasma, except that the darkness makes the plasma much harder to
       dispel since it takes more than just dissolving the plasma using
       powers like wind. This power can be countered with strong enough
       light energy (but it takes stronger light than normal because
       plasma can control certain visible spectrum frequencies), and
       the darkness can be countered based on the darkness used (such
       as life energy can be used to counter deathly darkness based
       plasma). Tarich's EM spectrum light manipulation has to be
       countered by something other than light. The most dependable way
       to take out this power is with wind manipulation, as one with
       wind can usually counter almost anything this power can throw at
       them, or using some other elements or energies to block the dark
       plasma as other energies can be used as well.
       - Adaptability/Power Users: Like most mortals, death wraiths are
       adaptable and able to learn the same abilities as mortals can
       (for the most part) thanks to the time they spend in the living
       world, and how adaptable they were made by Toranoraos. This
       includes being able to learn things like magic, mana, psychic,
       or even holy/unholy abilities depending on what they have
       affinities for (Example: Some death wraiths might have an
       affinity for magic, while some might be more tuned to psychic or
       holy/unholy abilities). A death wraith is able to learn these in
       the same way as other mortals, such as learning certain arts
       like mana user abilities or spirit energy user abilities
       depending on their skill sets and affinities. Usually, they can
       learn these from other death wraiths or from the mortals who use
       these techniques depending on their training and anyone they can
       learn from. Usually, death wraiths can learn special skills
       depending on their affinities, where they are able to learn
       usually up to two or three special skill sets depending on their
       age and training. For the most part, most typically stick to one
       or two though, since some of the skill sets require extensive
       training and practice to be useful, and it is typically better
       to master one special set of skills than gain a number of them
       that one cannot fully master (though having more may mean more
       ways to attack different kinds of enemies at the cost of not
       being able to fully master multiple skillsets to maintain their
       multiple skillsets). However, while a death wraith gains the
       strength of whatever class power they gain, they also gain the
       weaknesses, such as magic users being weak to magic negation or
       their magic not hurting those immune to magic. This applies to
       all abilities learned, which means death wraiths have to weigh
       strengths and weaknesses of classes to find out what will work
       best for them. They are able to learn the same powers as
       mortals, and some death wraiths are even born with special
       abilities, which is most common in death wraith hybrids.
       - Soul Reaper Kido: Despite not being soul reapers, death
       wraiths have worked well enough with the soul reapers that death
       wraiths can use the spiritual power of kido that the soul
       reapers typically use if they train with the soul reapers. Since
       death wraiths are spiritual in nature, death wraiths can also
       learn this ability through training with soul reapers, as soul
       reapers and death wraiths usually work together to take on
       hollows at times. This allows them to learn certain kido
       techniques that they might have an affinity for depending on
       their skillset and the soul reaper they train with. Soul reaper
       kido is broken down into two different sections. The first is
       Hado arts, which are attack abilities using spirit power in
       different ways. Depending on the art, each art has it's own
       abilities, strengths and weaknesses, and are mostly focused
       around offensive attack. The second is the Bakudo arts, which
       are focused around defense and restraint. These arts focus on
       defensive techniques, and also have thier own abilities,
       strengths and weaknesses. Depending on the skill level of the
       death wraith, some are able to learn more advanced kido arts if
       they are advanced enough at learning these arts. Typically, the
       higher the number of the art, the harder it is to learn, with
       higher level kido arts being far more powerful than lesser arts.
       The highest level hados are in the 90s, which are very difficult
       ones to learn that usually have a heavy cost to use (such as one
       that requires sacrifice of the body in order to use). There are
       some that act similarly but are different in nature. As an
       example, Hado 33 is Sokatsui, but Hado 73 is Soren Sokatsui, a
       much stronger version of Sokatsui and much harder to learn.
       Typically, each has it's own counter options, and death wraiths
       can only learn powers they have an affinity for (for example, a
       death wraith with no ability to manipulate ice is not going to
       be able to learn an ice-type kido attack). These work the same
       way as they do with soul reapers, and each one is countered the
       same way. These are very useful against not only lost souls and
       hollows, but are also very useful against dark spirits as well
       (as long as it's not one that can absorb energy like a consumer)
       so it is often favored by death wraiths who work with soul
       reapers.
       - Ghost Sight, Ghost Touch and Ghost Sense: Since the death
       wraiths were made to interact with the spirits of dead mortals,
       supernaturals, and deities as one of their primary purposes,
       death wraiths are able to interact with almost any manner of
       spirit or ghost, including dead souls and dark spirits. For the
       most part, death wraiths have multiple abilities dealing with
       their interactions of ghosts, where they are able to interact
       with them in ways most mortals cannot. Since ghosts don't
       typically manifest in the living world until they've become
       vengeful spirits or hollows, death wraiths have to be able to
       interact with ghosts in the veil, which they can do even from
       the living world to a degree using their special ghost sight
       ability and ghost sense. They are able to see ghosts, and see
       their essence even when they are not manifested thanks to this
       ability where most beings other than reapers would not be able
       to see ghosts. This includes ghosts not physical manifested in
       the physical world, in which death wraiths can detect any kind
       of ghost or spirit using their ghost sense that lets them sense
       almost any form of ghost or soul that they might encounter. They
       are also able to touch, grab and attack ghosts including ones
       not physically manifested, in which they are able to attack them
       in any form and can physically interact with ghosts and souls no
       matter what form they take. Death wraiths are also able to sense
       ghosts as well, having the ability to sense the difference
       between ghosts and certain angelic or demonic entities that
       possess creatures. However, death wraiths cannot interact with
       ghosts that have possessed people, and usually have to use their
       soul sword to attack a ghost if it has possessed a person.
       Ghosts and lost souls are typically the death wraith's main
       opponents besides dark spirits, in which some are able to even
       generate abilities to counter death wraith natural abilities to
       contain and interact with ghosts.
       - Soul Storage/Collection: Since it's a death wraith's purpose
       is to collect and shuttle souls to the afterlife, death wraiths
       must have their own ways to take souls to the afterlife. Every
       death wraith has some way to store and collect souls, in which
       they are able to use this to take souls with them in some way.
       For the most part, this skill is pretty self explanatory, at
       least as far as it's purpose, which is to make souls easy to
       carry and take with them so death wraiths can more easily take
       souls to the afterlife. But when it comes to functions, this is
       different for each death wraith, as each death wraith typically
       has their own way of doing this. Some can do things like storing
       souls in bottles, some use other objects to store souls, or some
       can even store souls in their bodies temporarily through soul
       absorption (though this is a forbidden art for most due to the
       dangers of devouring souls). This mostly depends on the death
       wraith, as they all have their own ways of collecting souls for
       transport to the afterlife. Usually, this involves some sort of
       object that they can bind a soul to. Souls typically cannot
       break out of this type of containment on their own, unless they
       have some sort of special ability that affects space and time,
       like space/time distortion energy. This also only works on dead
       souls, and cannot be used to take a soul out of a living body or
       even remove a possessing soul from the body. This ability is
       only for storing dead souls and can only be used as such. It is
       possible for others to destroy the objects holding a soul as
       well, so this is another thing that plays a part on trying to
       keep a soul contained, such as someone might be able to shatter
       a glass bottle holding a soul by dropping it, or destroying it
       with an attack.
       - Soul Purification/Corruption Removal: Another aspect of a
       death wraith's job to ferry souls to the afterlife is soul
       purification and removing corruption. While soul reapers usually
       take on hollows and use their zanpakutos after defeating them to
       purify them, death wraiths are able to remove corruption from
       souls using their ghost touch and interaction abilities. When
       using this, a death wraith is able to interact with souls and
       remove things like corruption from them in the form of ripping
       out the corruptive energy, or using their purifying shadows to
       purify a soul of corruption. Usually, this also depends death
       wraith, as some have unique purification techniques for
       purifying souls depending on who they are and their skillsets,
       such as some who might use magic could use magic based
       purification abilities. A soul must be purified before transport
       to the afterlife, and any risk of being turned hollow or higher
       level specter must be removed before taking them to the
       afterlife or the Hall of Souls. Typically, souls will resist
       being purified, given that they typically get corrupted from not
       wanting to leave and stay in the living world after rejecting a
       grim reaper taking them to the afterlife. It is difficult to
       purify a soul not willing to be purified, so death wraiths often
       have to fight in order to defeat a corrupted soul before they
       can purify it. Thankfully, their soul swords have a main
       function to purify souls if they cannot do it as easily, and
       defeating a soul or hollow typically will allow them to pacify
       it long enough to remove the corruption if they defeat it in
       battle. However, death wraiths have to be careful, as they can
       become corrupted themselves if they don't discard the corruption
       or if they are affected by corruption due to special abilities,
       which is something many death wraiths take very seriously and
       try to avoid.
       - Dark Spirit Hunting, Dark Spirit Trapping and Dark Spirit
       Destruction:  The other primary function of death wraiths is to
       hunt dark spirits of the shadow realm, in which death wraiths
       are designed specifically to fight dark spirits. Death wraiths
       know easily how to hunt all dark spirits of the shadow realm,
       and know most of the strengths and weaknesses as it is their job
       to keep them from entering the living world to try and interact
       or kill mortal beings. Death wraiths are not only able to hunt
       them, but they are also able to use their soul collection and
       containment abilities on dark spirits to trap them as well,
       where they are able to trap them in the same way as souls.
       Typically, this allows a death wraith to trap and contain a dark
       spirit in a similar way, where they will often use this to
       capture stronger dark spirits they cannot destroy, and will
       often use this to take a dark spirit back to the shadow realm
       and throw them deeper into the shadow realm where they are less
       likely to make it to the living world. In addition to capturing
       though, death wraiths possess the ability to destroy dark
       spirits, in which all death wraiths are usually able to destroy
       dark spirits with their soul sword and with their purifying
       darkness, though some may develop other special abilities for
       destroying dark spirits depending on their skillset. Death
       wraiths have to fight dark spirits quite a lot, and have to
       sometimes take on enhanced dark spirits that might get enhanced
       by mortal interference, such as those like Vobu and Zenrael (in
       some universes) who use their power to strengthen dark spirits.
       Typically, dark spirits aren't fought like normal beings, as
       most of them are typically not able to be hurt or destroyed by
       most mortals given their unique and usually intangible nature.
       However, death wraiths are able to counter that with their ghost
       touch and dark spirit destruction abilities, where they are able
       to fight dark spirits. While they can destroy dark spirits if
       they can overpower them, dark spirits also specialize in
       fighting death wraiths, as they are the shadow realm antithesis
       to death wraiths, and many dark spirits come in a variety of
       abilities and types, just as death wraiths have had to by
       learning adaptability and elemental abilities, so death wraiths
       have to keep up with the kinds of dark spirits that exist, and
       sometimes have to adapt if they meet a new type of dark spirit
       they don't know (which death wraiths are used to doing as there
       are a lot of ways new dark spirit types are being created).
       Basic Shadow Skill Abilities:
       - Death Wraith Shadow Arts Training: Death wraiths have had a
       long time to learn the power of shadows, and have developed
       their own shadow arts which death wraiths can learn. Usually,
       death wraiths can learn special arts depending on what they do,
       with the two main jobs for death wraiths being collecting souls
       and hunting/fighting dark spirits of the Shadow Realm. Depending
       on what they are doing, death wraiths are able to learn
       different arts developed by the death wraiths. There are many
       ways that they have learned to use darkness, and different arts
       they've developed that allow them to use their darkness in
       unique ways. Some have even managed to develop unique arts, like
       Kierran Black, using their unique abilities in combination with
       the darkness abilities or other abilities. These arts are
       usually about manipulating darkness in unique ways, and all use
       darkness in some way that can enhanced a death wraith's
       abilities, such as using purifying darkness to battle dark
       spirits, or using death energy to more easily wear down a living
       being that is trying to kill them. Typically, these arts are
       taught in a general capacity, and death wraiths are able to
       develop them as needed using unique abilities, such as a magic
       user being able to use dark magic and modify it for their own
       needs, or some specializing in certain darkness techniques.
       These arts are usually all forms of darkness, and most of them
       are counter-able by using light energy equivalents or using
       light in unique ways, or using any power that can counter
       darkness. Typically, death wraiths fall into one of two
       categories: Lost Soul Hunters or Dark Spirit Hunters. Depending
       on their career path, most will choose the best options for
       whatever path they choose. For Tarich, he has his basic skills,
       as well as his family's shadowtamer arts as well. For the most
       part, he is trained as a lost soul hunter, though he does have
       purifying darkness he trained in so that he could purify
       spiritual corruption.
       - Nightfall Family Shadowtamer Arts: Tarich's family was one of
       the families of the shadowtamers, a specific art which allowed
       them to create familiars by fusing some of their spirit into
       shadows to create familiars. The family was able to fuse their
       spirits into darkness taken from the shadows of creatures or
       people to create familiars that could be used in battle.
       Depending on the shadows used (which usually belong to creatures
       who the death wraith takes the darkness from), the familiars
       take on the form of the creature who's shadow energy was taken
       and gain special properties. For Tarich, he has a number of
       familiars he's utilized this way, creating a number of
       familiars. The Nightfall family designed all their darkness
       abilities and techniques based around the need for the
       familiars, allowing the familiars to help the family. As the
       family developed this skillset, they developed techniques that
       could be used in battle, in which most of the darkness arts are
       usually used to enhance the shadowtamer arts or be used by the
       familiars, such as the Nightfall family actually created an art
       of storing their shadow familiars in a shadow dimension created
       in their shadows, which acts like a home for the familiars where
       they can feed on the darkness of the shadow to grow stronger
       over time, with some even changing form and evolving once they
       have devoured enough darkness (though this is a very gradual
       process). Using these arts, it is important to note that the
       familiars are not enslaved, but are actually fiercely loyal to
       their host who creates them, due to the spirit energy being
       given to create them. This means that no energy has to be wasted
       on controlling them unless the user needs to discipline them as
       some familiars are so fiercely loyal they'll willing to disobey
       their masters if they feel what they're doing is protecting
       them. Depending on the familiars, some are smart, but others can
       be a bit on the unintelligent side, often requiring coordination
       from the host on when to take action or what they are needed to
       do. In this art, the darkness of the familiars can be destroyed,
       in which their bodies will lose their form and be returned to
       the host's shadow. They are also vulnerable to light, as well as
       being vulnerable to blessed sea salt, iron, and other spirit
       killing weapons as they are essentially spirits of darkness
       created by the shadowtamer.
       - Basic Darkness Type: Shadow-Infused Death Energy Manipulation:
       This is a very common shadow art among death wraiths, and a
       fairly basic ability they can learn. Since death wraiths are
       beings of death, they are able to learn to use death energy by
       drawing darkness from their deathly nature and focus on the
       death energy nature of their darkness. This power works as a mix
       of darkness and death energy, in which these shadows are infused
       with death energy that can be used in battle. These shadows can
       be used just like normal darkness, but have the effects of death
       energy such as rotting away objects. The death energy works
       great against living opponents, working against almost any kind
       of true living opponent. This is mostly used among the soul
       collection teams, as this power is typically used against lost
       souls to wear them down more quickly, thanks to the death
       energy's effects on souls. Typically, death energy can also be
       used to strengthen creatures with natures of death, such as
       other death wraiths and grim reapers, being very useful for when
       death wraiths work alongside grim reapers to take on certain
       lost souls. Since death wraiths are creatures of death, they
       don't have to worry about the balance of life and death in their
       body, as they don't use life energy in them at all like reapers
       would use to take human form. However, this means that life
       energy can be used to counter this in addition to light or holy
       power, since life is death energy's natural opposite. Unlike
       most beings, most death wraiths cannot use life energy, similar
       to who most cannot use light power. It is also worth noting that
       this shadow infused death energy cannot use necromancy
       techniques, not unless a death wraith gets to the intermediate
       skills and chooses to learn the shadow puppet technique. This is
       more just a basic energy manipulation that utilizes the
       properties of death energy but combined with darkness
       manipulation. As such, this can also be countered by light
       energy, holy power (if the holy power can counter the death
       power), and other counters to darkness and death energy
       manipulation. As a lost soul hunter, Tarich specialized in this
       darkness type first as it was the first one he was trained in
       since it was what his family was trained in.
       - Basic Darkness Type: Purifying Darkness: One of the more
       unique shadow arts of a death wraith, in which they were granted
       this power by Toranoraos in order to fight dark spirits for the
       dark spirit hunter death wraith teams. This is a form of
       darkness power that purifies presences, and works on those with
       corrupted or dark presences similar to how holy power works on
       unholy presences. This power was designed specifically to
       destroy dark spirits of the shadow realm, in which this power
       works like a positive spirit power that is combined with
       darkness to create a darkness that can even be used to destroy
       dark spirits. This darkness works just like normal darkness,
       except that it is a positive nature and a unique form of
       darkness not many races other than death races can use unless
       they are empowered by a death wraith or a special weapon that
       uses purifying darkness. Typically, this darkness is just like
       normal darkness in both strengths and weaknesses, in which this
       can be countered just like normal darkness as well. While this
       darkness isn't as strong as primordial darkness, it can even be
       used to purify other darkness users of darkness and hurt those
       that use darkness power, making this a dangerous power to use on
       any darkness user, which is the reason it works so well on dark
       spirits. Light is capable of countering this darkness, and
       unholy or corrupted light works best at countering this
       darkness. Death wraiths are also vulnerable to this, in which
       other death wraiths can hurt each other with this power, given
       it's nature to purify and destroy darkness using darkness power.
       However, death wraiths can only be hurt with other purifying
       darkness, and are not hurt by their own purifying darkness.
       Things like corrupted darkness can still hurt them, and counter
       this power fairly easily. After Tarich's family were killed by
       hollows, Tarich learned this in order to learn to purify
       spirits, and he can use this in a few ways most purifying
       darkness users can't, such as purifying souls and even purifying
       darkness itself of other energies mixed into it (Such as
       purifying death energy out of death energy based darkness).
       - Burning Darkness (Can chose one of the three elemental
       darkness abilities): This darkness is another of the elemental
       darkness types that uses darkness. By utilizing this ability,
       death wraiths can utilize the ability to create heat using
       darkness by absorbing light to generate heat, and combining it
       with certain emotional natures. For those that have trouble
       controlling their emotional natures, this often provides a good
       outlet for emotions to turn them into power without them being a
       bother to the death wraith. Instead of learning ice manipulation
       from a perfect emotional control, this is more for those that
       have trouble controlling their emotions. By using the emotional
       energy and powering it into the darkness manipulation (usually
       using anger/hatred), this can turn darkness into a burning
       darkness that can ignite like a flame. This power is somewhat
       similar to dark flames in nature, except that this is pure
       darkness that takes the form of a burning flame style darkness.
       This darkness can be used just like fire attacks, such as using
       explosive darkness attacks, creating burning darkness to burn or
       melt things, or even creating blast type attacks of darkness.
       This power is designed to replicate fire using darkness, and
       works as a variation that utilizes emotions. This also is useful
       against opponents that use fire or are immune to fire abilities,
       as this bypasses fire immunity and users of fire cannot absorb
       this burning darkness (some can use it and absorb theirs, but
       cannot absorb other people's burning darkness). This also is
       useful in the fact that this burning darkness can use darkness
       as fuel for this flame-like darkness, in which this can convert
       other darkness into darkness (with certain exceptions). This can
       also be used with other darkness types to create a powerful
       variation of burning darkness, such as purifying darkness based
       burning darkness could be used to burn a dark spirit, or deathly
       darkness based burning darkness could be used to burn a lost
       soul to do more damage to it. For the most part, this darkness
       is best countered with light, though it can also be countered
       with ice abilities since it is essentially fire in darkness
       form. This can be countered with anything that counters fire,
       and can also be countered with certain holy energies as well
       since the flame is pure darkness. For Tarich, he used this in
       order to funnel his anger and hatred into a more useful power
       (which is common among death wraiths). Tarich's burning darkness
       is another power he has mastered over the years, not only using
       his anger to empower the flames to more easily consume anything
       the darkness touches (through ways of burning it), but Tarich
       can even utilize this in combination with his other darkness
       types which is something most death wraiths haven't figured out
       how to do (mostly for lack of trying since most death wraiths
       don't think about combining this with other darkness abilities).
       Tarich's darkness is far stronger than other burning darkness,
       where he is able to consume most objects, and even to an extent
       can absorb light using his burning darkness.
       - Darkness Form/Darkness Shapeshifting (Advanced Art): This is
       the first of the advanced arts, which allows a death wraith to
       shapeshift using darkness. This power requires a mastery not
       only of darkness, but of the body of a death wraith in order to
       change the darkness that makes up a death wraith body, and only
       experienced death wraiths can learn to use this, as it's
       fundamentally much harder than simply turning melding with
       shadows as it requires shapeshifting the body and going into a
       new form, something the death wraiths weren't really designed to
       do beyond going between Death Wraith and human form. When using
       this, death wraiths become able to become shadows, and are able
       to go into a darkness form. There are a few purposes for this
       form change, which can be used if a death wraith learns this.
       The first is allowing a death wraith to go into this form as an
       intangible form, allowing attacks to pass through them or become
       darkness to attack using their bodies in the forms of things
       like tendrils or spears with some even being able to take
       animal-like forms like wolves and birds depending on what they
       want to do. Using certain darkness types, death wraiths may even
       become different kinds of darkness (though this is very
       difficult to do and usually death wraiths only master one or two
       darkness types in most of their life span) to allow this
       darkness form to attack specific types of enemies (IE purifying
       darkness form to attack dark spirits or death-based darkness to
       attack lost souls). This also allows easier regeneration, in
       which a death wraith can become darkness and reform their body
       more easily while in darkness form as it. However, while in this
       form, they are vulnerable to light, as well as form negation
       abilities (like certain swordsman or martial arts combat focus
       that attack someone no matter the form they're in). If they are
       hit by concentrated light, they risk taking heavier damage, and
       certain light attacks like a flashbangs might even destroy their
       darkness-based bodies if they don't change back quickly enough.
       Opponents who absorb darkness can also even absorb the death
       wraith's darkness form as well, making this a risky move in
       certain situations.  However it does require using some energy
       go into this form and maintain this form, and if the death
       wraith exhausts their energy, they cannot use this skill until
       they recover their energy. Tarich had to learn this as one of
       his first shadow skills in order to learn his shadow tamer arts,
       as he had to learn to change his being into darkness in order to
       manifest his familiars.
       - Unique Darkness Art: Mastered Darkness Purification: This is a
       unique ability that Tarich learned by mastering purifying
       darkness. By utilizing it to it's fullest, Tarich learned a
       couple of new abilities in using his purifying darkness. The
       first is that he is able to purify corruption, in which he can
       purify corrupted energy of almost any type by using this power.
       This is similar to spirit purification in how it works, but goes
       beyond even spirit purification in that it can even be used to
       heal people by using the purifying effect similar to how angels
       use purification to heal others. Tarich is able to do this with
       his darkness, in that he can purify energy, specifically he can
       purify spirits of corruption, including being able to purify
       death wraiths of corruption. This was even able to remove
       hollowfication from souls if used properly (but required someone
       to consent as this power could be resisted by the original host
       and becomes ineffective if the host holds on to the corruption).
       As those who know him will guess, Tarich developed this power so
       he could more easily purify hollows, and so he could remove
       hollowfication from those that didn't want it as a way to try
       and fix hollows. This power can purify almost any corrupted
       energy (not just corrupted spirit), but can remove the effects
       of death wraith corruption absorption (something most death
       wraiths cannot do). In addition, this power can remove
       corruption from other energies, such as removing the corruption
       from corrupted flames in order to render it to normal flames.
       The last effect is that Tarich can purify darkness completely,
       removing energies out of the darkness. Normally, this is what
       purifying darkness is meant to do, but Tarich has mastered it to
       a level beyond what it can normally do. Tarich is able to purify
       almost any energy out of darkness, such as being able to purify
       death-based darkness and purify the death energy out of the
       darkness to leave only the purified darkness. This required
       heavy training, and is a bit difficult to do at times, but when
       used, is very useful especially against darkness users. It is
       worth noting that only corrupted energies and darkness can be
       purified the way Tarich uses it (though any creature can be
       healed by it when Tarich uses its healing properties), so it
       cannot be used to purify just any energy out of an energy (for
       example, Tarich couldn't use it to purify lightning out of ice
       lightning). This only works on things that can be purified, and
       some creatures or energies immune to normal purifying darkness
       are still highly resistant to this power (though not completely
       resistant even if it requires a lot more energy than normal to
       use to purify someone immune to purification). This can be
       rendered ineffective when used to purify spirits and darkness if
       the entity being purified doesn't want purification, such as a
       host of a hollow could render the purification of the hollow
       part of their souls by resisting the purification themselves.
       Nightfall Family Arts:
       - Nightfall Family Darkness Art: Shadow Familiar Creation: This
       is the art which lets Tarich create darkness familiars, passed
       down in his family as it is taught through the Nightfall family
       line in order to allow the family to use the shadowtamer arts
       unique to their family. This art is the foundation of the
       shadowtamer arts they use, in which the family created this art
       in order to create shadow familiars to use as one of the most
       skilled shadowtamer families in the death wraith order. This art
       allows Tarich to create familiars by fusing some of his spirit
       energy to the shadow of a living entity in order to create a
       shadow familiar. This works by using his spirit to animate the
       shadow, granting it an existence of its own through the essence
       of the user, which grants life to the shadow. And depending on
       the shadow energy used, the familiar will have properties based
       on the living creature who's shadow energy is used to give it
       life. For example, the shadow of a bear could be used with this
       technique in order to create a shadow bear familiar. When used,
       this can also grant them special abilities based on the
       creature, such as a thunderbird's shadow could grant a darkness
       thunderbird familiar darkness lightning (as it wouldn't be able
       to generate normal lightning since darkness is the only powers
       the familiars have). Any special powers gained by the familiars
       are darkness based, unless the user has other abilities (for
       Tarich, they can also draw on his dark plasma power to
       artificial replicate certain abilities, more on that later). The
       familiars are connected to the user, and if they are destroyed,
       they return to the user unless killed by a spirit killing weapon
       or destroyed using spirit destruction. Since these spirits are
       usually not corrupted (only in rare cases when created by a
       death wraith with corruptive power), purification doesn't affect
       them and they can only be killed using spirit destruction,
       otherwise they simply are demanifested and return to the host
       that created them (in the case of the Nightfall family, they
       have a shadow dimension in their shadow which acts like the home
       for the familiars and where they when they demanifest).
       Destroying the body is as simple as destroying the darkness
       making up their bodies, which means that light and other ways of
       countering darkness like corrupted darkness still work (unless
       the bodies are made of a darkness resistant or immune to light
       which is rare). These creatures are also always darkness types
       in nature (unless a Nightfall family has specific abilities that
       let them create other types of familiars which is usually not
       the case). These familiars also have somewhat limited
       intelligence in which most of them are only ever limited to the
       creatures they are based on (such as a wolf would only have wolf
       level intelligence). The familiars also die when the host dies,
       as their lives and spirits are tied to the host.
       - Nightfall Family Darkness Art: Shadow Dimension: This is the
       art which the Nightfall family made in order to store their
       familiars, rather than having to store the familiars in their
       spirit which could cause noise in the mind if one had a lot of
       familiars. This art allowed the Nightfall family to essentially
       allow the familiars to stay in their shadow by creating a shadow
       dimension within their shadows in order to allow the familiars
       into their shadow. When using their shadow, the shadow dimension
       acts like a pocket dimension, usually being big enough for the
       shadow familiars to live and survive there when they are not
       being used in battle or for other purposes. This shadow
       dimension can vary in size depending on the spirit energy put
       into it, and over time can be grown using more spirit energy if
       the number of familiars increases or the familiars increase in
       size. Normally, users of this art would create an area big
       enough like meadow, or creating a darkness based forest.
       Depending on what the user wants, they can shape this pocket
       dimension as they want, creating what they want by manifesting
       the darkness in different ways. While this isn't the same as a
       real forest or meadow, the darkness can create something akin to
       it made of pure darkness energy. This dimension exists purely
       within the user's shadow, and is connected to the darkness in
       their spirits. When used, this is designed to store the
       familiars and grant them darkness to feed on (more later) so
       that the familiars can live when they are not needed in the real
       world. Besides the familiar, only a death wraith or shadow
       melder can access this dimension by going into the user's
       shadow, in which someone who could go into someone else's
       shadows could access this dimension. However, the death wraith
       who creates this cannot usually fuse with their own shadow, as
       the shadow is not large enough usually to contain the death
       wraith's body completely (as the shadow decreases in size as
       they enter the shadow). This dimension cannot be destroyed
       unless the user uses their own power to destroy the dimension as
       each user controls their own shadow dimension, or the host dies
       (in which case the dimension collapses and the spirits inside
       die with the host), but the familiars can be sealed inside of it
       during a flashbang, or other intense light that negates shadows,
       as the shadows have to access the shadow in order to manifest
       themselves. This means the easiest way of stopping the familiars
       is preventing them from leaving the shadow dimension from the
       shadow at all.
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Darkness Feeding Sustenance:
       When these familiars were created by the Nightfall family arts,
       the creatures were made to sustain and grow in power by feeding
       on darkness energy, in which darkness is essentially the food
       which maintains their power. All of the familiars of the
       Nightfall family feed on darkness (as the darkness is what they
       must use to manifest themselves and use their power). Normally,
       the familiars feed on darkness to replenish their supply of
       darkness, in which they utilize darkness power simply by
       continuing to exist. By living day to day, and in using their
       abilities, the Nightfall family's shadow familiars use their
       darkness energy to survive since they are technically living
       shadows brought to life by the individual death wraith. Usually,
       the easiest way for the Nightfall family familiars to feed on
       darkness is by feeding on the darkness emitted by the Nightfall
       family art of the shadow dimension, in which the homes in the
       shadow of the Nightfall family can house a dimension of darkness
       for the familiars to feed on, maintained by the spirit energy of
       the Nightfall family member. By doing this, the familiars can
       feed on darkness when in the host's shadow and maintain their
       power so that they can keep themselves at full power when called
       out by the host. The other method is that the familiars can feed
       on the darkness of the environment, in which they can absorb and
       devour shadows around them. This is necessary to maintain their
       power, as without shadows, the familiars grow weaker and
       eventually could die if they run out of power completely without
       feeding on darkness (in which the familiar loses its power
       completely and the spirit of the familiar fades away). Normally,
       the darkness of the shadow dimension is enough to keep the
       familiars fed and full of darkness power, and the familiars can
       go back to the shadow dimension at any time by dispelling their
       bodies if they run low on energy. The only way this would be a
       problem is if they are separated from the host's shadow for a
       long time and don't feed on darkness over an extended period of
       time.
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Darkness Feeding Evolution/Power
       Gain: The other main focus of the shadow familiars devouring
       darkness is that as they feed on darkness over time, they can
       change and grow once they consume enough darkness. For example,
       a shadow snake familiar could devour darkness for a thousand
       years and evolve into a new type of shadow snake familiar (such
       as a shadow boa constrictor could evolve into a more powerful
       type of snake). Some familiars are known to grow in size over
       time feeding on darkness, such as a snake-familiar could grow
       from the size of a normal snake into a snake the size of an
       elephant. Depending on the familiar, most will evolve and change
       based on the creature they are, such as a snake will always
       transform into some form of snake creature (the most extreme
       being a snake familiar evolving into a snake-like dragon or a
       snake-like creature like a basilisk). The familiars can feed on
       darkness as they use power, and over time they can evolve and
       change. Some are known to gain new abilities when they change
       (such as a snake familiar may gain dragon breath abilities if it
       turns into a snake-like dragon). Some are also able to gain
       certain abilities based on the darkness fed to them, such as
       purifying darkness fed familiars could gain darkness-based
       spirit destruction powers when they change. This depends mostly
       on the familiar and the abilities they have, and how the
       darkness affects them. Typically, this is a gradual process,
       taking years before any real noticeable change happens. Some
       familiars never change at all, and some might change more than
       once. Usually, familiars that change multiple times start out
       weaker than familiars that don't change, though some that don't
       change over time can grow in size still. Typically, it can take
       hundreds of thousands of years for a shadow familiar to grow or
       change, if it is able to. This requires constantly feeding
       darkness to the shadow familiars, and requires constant care for
       the shadow familiars so that they can one day channel their
       power and grow (assuming they are able to grow or gain new power
       at all).
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Matter Devouring: While the
       shadow familiar art has the familiars feeding on darkness, some
       shadow familiars can also feed on normal matter, such as bear or
       other predator familiars can eat living beings, or certain
       animal familiars can eat plants. This allows a shadow familiar
       to sustain itself on physical matter when it cannot devour
       shadows, or if the shadow familiar wants to eat something other
       than shadows. Typically, this is more used in battle, where
       predatory familiars will hunt down enemies of the host and eat
       them just as a predatory animal would. However, this isn't
       limited to specific food, but the familiars can actually eat
       other things depending on what the host wants them to do.
       Because the familiars can change based on the powers of darkness
       used, such as the familiars may be able to change their shadows
       consistency to be acidic, they are actually able to break down
       most materials when eating physical materials. While some
       materials take longer to break down than others, this is a good
       method to devour things that might be dangerous to the host, and
       is something the familiars develop on their own in order to
       better assist their host. Depending on the material and powers
       used, different materials can be broken down in different ways,
       such as some materials might simply need acidic shadows, but
       some might need certain chemical reactions to break down certain
       materials (meaning other powers might be needed). This also
       doesn't grant the familiars new abilities like darkness feeding
       does, but it can sustain their power just as eating food would
       for a mortal. While they don't gain power, they are able to use
       this when they can't feed on darkness to sustain themselves. Of
       course, this is only as effective as the familiar can break down
       the materials, as some materials may require certain abilities
       to break down, or some items may require time to break down. For
       example, a familiar with burning darkness might more easily be
       able to break down physical materials than those without that
       power. For the most part, this is only as useful as the familiar
       can handle, as the familiars can only handle so much physical
       materials.
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Darkness Manifestation: This
       power is what allows the shadow familiars to manifest themselves
       using darkness. By drawing on the darkness and using the power
       of the host, the shadow familiar can come out of wherever the
       familiar's spirit is stored. Since the familiars are all dark in
       nature, the familiars manifest using the darkness power of the
       host. When manifesting, the familiar takes a standard form (like
       a shadow wolf familiar will take a wolf form) that is made if
       shadows. When manifesting though, the shadow familiar isn't
       limited to only manifesting using normal darkness, but can
       manifest with any darkness power that the user controls. For
       example, a user with purifying darkness could have his familiars
       manifest using purifying darkness, or a user with deathly
       darkness could have his familiars manifest using deathly
       darkness. This depends on the user's abilities, and the
       familiars, where they manifest using this darkness. This is a
       basic art that lets the shadow familiars move beyond wherever
       they are stored when not in use (some death wraith families like
       the Nightfall family have specific ways of storing shadow
       familiars in special methods). When manifested, the familiars
       use this darkness power, and can even call on any abilities the
       host has, such as shadow skills or any other skillsets (such as
       one magic user was able to have their shadow familiars use magic
       spells). This is the main power that lets a shadow familiar help
       in battle, where their bodies are held together by dark power
       and the familiar's control of darkness. And depending on the
       darkness used to manifest them, this can grant the familiars
       temporary abilities, such as purifying darkness based familiars
       could be summoned to do damage to dark spirits and corrupted
       beings, while deathly darkness familiars could be useful in
       doing damage to lost souls. Without this power, the familiar
       cannot manifest beyond wherever they are stored in the host, and
       if they don't have the energy to manifest, they cannot use this
       power. The familiars must use darkness, since they are shadow
       familiars, unless the familiar has unique aspects to them, or
       the host makes them a special familiar. This also means these
       familiars are manifested the same as spirits, and can be
       countered either with countering the darkness that makes up
       their bodies, or countered with things that counter spirits.
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Shadow Manipulation/Shadow
       Abilities: Every familiar has their own abilities, with each
       familiar being unique. As one might expect, darkness is what
       every shadow familiar uses in power, where they are able to use
       their powers once manifested. Almost all abilities (with only a
       few exceptions) are usually powers based in darkness or powers
       used by their host that the shadow familiar draws on. In the
       case of death wraiths, their darkness power is always a primary
       power of the familiars, where most of the powers the familiars
       have come from the death wraith's shadow power. Some familiars
       will have unique abilities, but they always manifest using
       darkness in some form even if the familiar has some supernatural
       abilities, such as a phoenix familiar will manifest their flames
       using burning darkness, or a thunder bird will use dark
       lightning. Not only can the familiars use their shadow
       manipulation to fight opponents, but the familiars are able to
       use the darkness powers of their host in fights, such as a
       familiar could use purifying darkness to attack opponents if the
       host has the ability. Depending on the familiar, some familiars
       have unique supernatural abilities, where they are able to use
       certain abilities that might be unique to them. For example, a
       phoenix familiar where the host doesn't have burning darkness
       will still use burning darkness as its own unique ability. For
       the most part, the familiars use this darkness in battle the
       same way the death wraiths do, except that the familiars may
       have unique powers that can help them in battle. All of the
       abilities of these familiars are either tied to the familiar, or
       are powers the host possesses. This means that countering these
       powers can still be done by anything that counters darkness
       abilities, such as light manipulation. For the most part, these
       powers do still work like they normally would (such as burning
       darkness is still countered by water or ice manipulation), and
       most of the powers can also be countered thanks to the powers
       almost all being darkness (aside from a death wraith's elemental
       manipulation). This also means that the familiars aren't going
       to have abilities that the user doesn't have and familiars
       having powers that the user doesn't have (such as a familiar
       having light manipulation when the user doesn't) doesn't happen.
       - Unique Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Purified Shadow
       Familiars: This is a strange effect of Tarich's mastered
       purifying darkness. When his familiars are manifested using this
       darkness, Tarich's mastered purifying darkness grants the
       familiars some unique properties. Among them are the most common
       where the familiars can devour dark spirits and destroy them
       using purifying darkness, but the familiars can also eat the
       souls of hollows and other corrupted beings, and then purify the
       souls. This is an ability that almost no other purifying
       darkness can do, where normally hollows wouldn't be able to be
       purified with purifying darkness. Tarich's purifying darkness,
       because it was designed to purify corruption in the soul, makes
       these familiars somewhat unique. The familiars can even rip
       corruption out of the body by biting the soul in the body and
       using their purifying darkness to remove the corruption.
       Tarich's purifying darkness is unique among death wraiths, and
       his familiars are able to utilize it as easily as Tarich can.
       The familiars are also able to use this purifying darkness in
       battle, where the familiars are able to call on darkness to
       attack with using this power just as Tarich is able to. This
       power is far stronger than normal purifying darkness, and makes
       Tarich's familiars dangerous to those of corrupted natures since
       Tarich's familiars can purify corruption in the soul. Of course,
       this power works just like Tarich's normal purification power,
       and can do anything his purifying darkness can do. While more
       effective against creatures of corruption, it doesn't change
       much in terms of fighting other creatures, as it is still
       darkness (albeit a more powerful darkness). As such, the
       familiar's darkness can still be countered like normal darkness,
       and this darkness still has the weaknesses of Tarich's normal
       purifying darkness.
       - Unique Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Dark Plasma Energy
       Replication: For Tarich's familiars, Tarich's familiars are not
       just limited to only using darkness as they can also utilize
       Tarich's unique dark plasma abilities. Not only do the familiars
       utilize this to replicate more abilities, but since Tarich's
       plasma abilities are a shadow/darkness type ability, the
       familiars gain far more power and range of abilities than other
       uses of the shadowtamer skills. For example, Tarich's shadow
       hellhound familiar, Seri, can utilize dark plasma to create
       darkness flames that are generated by its body in place of using
       darkness like most shadowtamers familiars would. There are a
       number of ways to use this, and the familars mostly use it in
       their own way in place of other elemental powers, and some may
       use it uniquely. For example, Tarich's pamola familiar, Alja,
       uses a unique dark plasma that saps the heat out of an area that
       causes it to freeze, and can use the freezing power using its
       dark plasma to reflect light off the ice. The familiars can tap
       into this power at will, and even if they don't use it for one
       of their main abilities, they can use it in their own ways,
       though they may be limited if it is not a power they normally
       have. For example, Tarich's shadow wolf familiar, Luno, cannot
       use this plasma to create lightning as effectively as like his
       raiju familiar, Rael. And in terms of weaknesses, this power
       still works like Tarich's dark plasma abilities and can be
       countered the same way. For the most part, this ability is more
       to allow the familiars more abilities, rather than just making
       them use it in battle on their own. And since the familiars
       aren't as smart as Tarich, they cannot usually strategize to use
       the skill as well as Tarich can, even if some of the familiars
       have certain abilities that may be more advanced than the other
       familiars. Tarich is pretty smart, and he can come up with other
       abilities to use, but his familiars are not anywhere near as
       smart as he is with this skill. And the familiars do have to use
       their energy they need to manifest in order to call on this
       energy, so if they run out, not only can they not use it but
       they run out of energy to manifest and are forced back into
       Tarich's shadow.
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Dark Connection: The connection
       between a shadowtamer and his familiars requires more than just
       being connected to each other. The shadowtamer has a special
       connection as the master of the familiars that is used for a few
       different purposes. The first is that the shadowtamer can
       control the familiars when needed, usually in situations where
       the shadowtamer has to command the familiars. For example, most
       familiars are not quite as smart as the host, so some situations
       that require strategic thinking may require the shadowtamer to
       take control of the familiars such as one shadowtamer who took
       control of a familiar to guide them through a facility in the
       living world without them triggering building defenses. For the
       most part, this part of the connection is only really used by
       the host in case the familiar needs the host to control their
       actions, or if the host sees a reason they need to control the
       familiar. The second part of this control is allowing the
       shadowtamer to forcibly act against familiars using this
       connection. For the most part, the familiars are loyal to the
       shadowtamers, but some may act against the host (usually when
       they are acting on animal instincts) and require action. In this
       situation, the host uses this connection to forcibly override
       the familiar's mind. This can be used not only to control
       familiars, but can be used to cause them pain by using pressure
       of the hosts mind to overpower the familiar. In doing this, this
       causes the familiars pain while the user takes over. However,
       this isn't designed to hurt the familiar, but more to train them
       or in certain situations stop them from disobeying the host.
       Most shadowtamers won't seek to torture their familiars, but
       sometimes the host does have to punish familiars who act without
       their consent, such as some familiars who may try to be
       overprotective and end up hurting an ally of the host. For the
       most part, the familiars cannot fight this connection, as the
       host takes control. Though this connection is only between a
       shadowtamer and his familiars, so this doesn't affect enemies at
       all.
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Hyper Sense Connection: This
       allows a shadowtamer to share senses with their familiars as
       part of their connection. When using this, shadowtamers are
       connected to their familiar's senses, and can perceive
       everything that their familiars do. This not only includes
       normal senses like sight, smell and touch, but also other senses
       the familiar might have, such as being able to sense presences
       through their familiars or even some unique senses some
       familiars have. Since most familiars have unique senses, this is
       a useful ability for shadowtamers to have, as many often choose
       familiars based on unique senses a familiar might have. For
       example, if a shadowtamer is scouting out an area, a bat's sonar
       sense, a canine's enhanced sense of smell, and even a dragon
       familiar's rhythm sense would come in handy. These senses can
       also be useful in battle, as a user can use them to keep eyes on
       multiple parts of the battlefield without having to constantly
       try to shift their senses. While the shadowtamer won't be able
       to use these senses on their own, using a familiar to utilize
       their senses allows the shadowtamer different options depending
       on the familiars they have. For the most part, this is a passive
       skill that is active as long as the familiar is active (meaning
       that this doesn't work when the familiars aren't summoned), and
       is very rare that someone is able to interrupt it (though
       interrupting this connection can be done if someone has a skill
       that lets them interrupt telepathic connections. For the most
       part, there are no real battle uses of this ability, other than
       using the senses to keep senses on more than what the
       shadowtamer can see. However, there is a downside, in that a
       user's senses can be more easily overwhelmed if their familiars
       senses are overwhelmed. For example, a flashbang not only would
       temporarily take out a familiar's manifested form, but the
       overwhelmed senses would transfer to the host (in that the host
       would also be blinded even if not in the area of the flashbang
       flash if at least one familiar is affected by it).
       - Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Team Attacks: Depending on the
       familiars, shadow tamers are able to team up with their
       familiars and combine attacks, even combining unique skills
       together for team attacks that can be performed. Familiars can
       even team their attacks together, such as raiju familiar could
       combine their dark lightning with a phoenix familiar's dark
       flames to create a dark flame lightning team attack. This also
       applies to allowing the user to team up with their familiars.
       The possibilities of team attacks are quite vast, as almost any
       familiar and host can team up in some way to form team attacks.
       This doesn't just include forming elemental attacks, but the
       shadowtamer and familiars can form attacks from other skills as
       well, such as combining darkness skills or combining unique
       abilities (such as Tarich's bat familiar and gorilla familiar
       combine their sonar and psychic power respectively to create
       sound waves that can cause psychic backlash on opponents). Each
       user can uniquely combine many forms of skills, with the only
       limits being if skills cannot be combined (such as two powers
       might not be able to be combined if they cancel each other out).
       When utilizing this, this is often used for a lot of stronger
       attacks, as attacks used by combining two attacks together are
       usually much stronger together than single attacks of similar
       natures (IE two fire attacks combined would overpower a single
       user's fire attack normally). Of course, knowledge of the skills
       used is essential for the shadowtamer and the familiars to know
       how to combine their abilities, and usually requires training by
       the Shadowtamer as the familiars aren't always smart enough to
       figure it out on their own. For example, one shadowtamer's wind
       bird and phoenix familiars couldn't combine their wind and
       flames without causing explosions until the shadowtamer showed
       them how to utilize the combined technique properly). These
       attacks mostly still have the same weaknesses as normal (IE a
       fire attack would still likely be overpowered by weaknesses of
       fire) unless specific conditions are in place (IE a familiar
       using oil and fire cannot be put out by water alone). However,
       opponents can usually figure out how to get around many of these
       attacks if they are skilled and/or knowledgeable enough.
       - Nightfall Family Shadowtamer Familiar Ability: Spirit Fusion:
       This is the ultimate technique of the Nightfall family, in which
       they learned how to fuse to their familiars to create enhanced
       darkness forms. By utilizing darkness forms, combined with the
       familiar, the users can take on traits of whatever familiar they
       fused with and may even be able to use unique abilities based on
       the familiars chosen for this. The Nightfalls use this technique
       by syncing the spirits of the host and familiar together, and
       then the two combine their dark natures together to temporarily
       fuse together. For example, combining with a bat familiar may
       grant the user the features of a bat, such as bat ears, bat
       wings, and even a bat's sonar sense. When combining with
       something like a wolf, the user may gain wolf-like features like
       sharpened teeth, sharpened claws, and even canine-like ears.
       Depending on the familiar, this also grants enhanced stats to
       the user depending on the familiar used. For example, using a
       wolf familiar may grant enhanced agility and speed, or a bear
       might grant enhanced strength and defense, or a snake familiar
       might grant enhanced grip strength. This all depends on the
       familiar, and each familiar may grant different abilities
       depending on what kind of familiar it is. The host can fuse with
       any of the familiars, as long as the host and the familiar sync
       their spirits properly. Normally, this is best used in the death
       wraith form, in which the host gains the full darkness of the
       familiars (as using it when in human form usually results in a
       lot of the power being lost since the death wraith isn't usually
       able to tap fully into their darkness natures when in mortal
       form). For the most part, this particular ability is very
       useful, but it is worth noting that hosts can only fuse with one
       familiar at a time. While fusing with more familiars is
       possible, it puts a lot of strain on the user and can damage
       them, as was the case when Tarich used this against a lost soul
       and combined three familiars (His gorilla, wolf, and bat
       familiars) with himself. Tarich almost died because of the
       strain, and barely survived even though he defeated his
       opponents. For opponents wanting to counter this, usually the
       host is still vulnerable to weaknesses of the familiar they fuse
       with (Such as fusing with a bear familiar may have a loss of
       mobility, or fusing with a birdlike familiar may sacrifice
       strength for speed). These fusions are also only temporary, and
       can only be used as long as the two have spirit energy to
       maintain this.
       Shadow Familiars:
       - Shadow Bat Familiar: Vamph: Vamph is Tarich's bat familiar,
       which is one of his birdlike familiars. Vamph is a bat that has
       all the features of a bat. Unlike what most people think, bats
       do actually see, and they have better vision than humans do.
       Vamp also has highly enhanced hearing thanks to his bat nature.
       Vamph also has his sonar sense just like most bats do, in which
       he can utilize it to sense things around him, or use it to focus
       on enemies to attack with sound waves. Bats are often known for
       being able to navigate the night, which Vamph does extremely
       well not only thanks to his sonar sense, but his supernatural
       presence senses as well. Vamph also has a unique ability in that
       Vamph can drain the life energy from others by biting them,
       similar to a vampire since Vamph is a vampire bat. When using
       that ability, Vamph is able to absorb life energy and strengthen
       itself, amplifying its power through the life force of others.
       This bat is not much for battle, but can be a surprisingly
       useful familiar in battle if opponents don't know what this
       familiar can do. This familiar is often best for scouting areas,
       but is also good to weaken unassuming opponents. Another thing
       to note is that Vamph's wings are much stronger than they look,
       and Vamph often enhances his wings with darkness energy to
       strengthen them to the point where he can use them as shields to
       block attacks. Vamph is much faster than one would think, and
       can fly at speeds that can outmanuever a lot of opponents. The
       only downside to Vamph is that he is not a particularly powerful
       familiar, and cannot pack a real punch. The only real upside
       that Vamph has in a fight is using his life drain abilities on
       opponents. Vamph is usually most vulnerable to stronger enemies,
       but things like flashbangs still dispell him. Vamph is small
       enough that he is fairly easy to take down, and is more for
       scouting than fighting.

       - Shadow Raven Familiar: Qwa'al: Qwa'al is another of Tarich's
       familiars, with this familiar being a raven. Qwa'al has
       everything a normal raven would have, and is able to fly around
       just like any bird of prey. Qwa'al also has talons he can use to
       cut into things, with his talons being strong enough to claw
       through concrete. Similar to other birds of prey, Qwa'al can
       swoop down and swipe at someone or something, usually doing this
       in battle to try and hurt opponents by slashing at their head.
       Qwa'al also has another unique power however, and that is the
       power of death energy. Unlike other familiars that have to tap
       into Tarich's deathly darkness. Qwa'al is able to attack enemies
       with death energy, using it to rot away objects or cause death
       energy damage to people which makes Qwa'al quite useful in
       combat against life based opponents. In addition to it's ability
       to use death energy, Qwa'al also has razor sharp feathers it can
       fire from its wings, which are fired at opponents almost like
       knives at speeds that allow it to hit like a bullet (in which
       these can usually pierce metal armor). Qwa'al can even combine
       his death energy with his feathers for stronger effects, usually
       as a means to rot away objects the feather hits so the feather
       can more easily pierce objects or people. Qwa'al is designed to
       attack from a distance, usually bombarding an opponent from the
       sky with feathers and death energy. Qwa'al is also one who
       usually is great at scouting since he can fly into most
       territories without drawing too much attention to himself. For
       the most part, Qwa'al may be slightly bigger than a normal
       raven, but is still pretty small, and can be beaten more easily
       by stronger opponents. Life energy also does far more damage to
       Qwa'al than other familiars due to Qwa'al's death energy power
       he possesses.

       - Shadow Gorilla Familiar: Gronn: Gronn is a bit of a unique
       familiar. Gronn was born of Tarich taking the shadow energy of a
       dangerous gorilla named Grodd, who had psychic abilities. When
       Gronn was born, he retained Grodd's psychic potential, and is
       able to use psychic abilities including telekinesis, telepathy
       (even being able to read the minds of others), and can even
       attack using telepathy to try and crush an opponent's mind
       (though this doesn't do permanent damage usually and mostly
       causes mental stress that can hinder a user till they have time
       to rest and recover). Gronn also has a unique ability to
       telekinetically control shadows as part of its dark nature, and
       can affect objects and people by psychically holding their
       shadow in place. Gronn can even psychic possess someone if he
       can gain control of their mind with his psychic power, as long
       as they aren't able to resist his influence (as some strong
       willed or specially trained opponents can't be controlled easily
       and some cannot be controlled at all). Gronn's psychic potential
       is not fully tapped into, and he is still learning. However,
       Gronn is the best familiar of the pack for one reason: He is the
       only one that can communicate to others, usually through
       telepathy. He can speak to others, and even learn languages by
       reading the minds of others. Gronn often will act as the psychic
       link between familiars when the familiars work together, using
       his intelligence to coordinate so that Tarich doesn't have to.
       Gronn is also extremely strong as well as very tough as he has
       the strength, agility and defense of a true gorilla. When
       combined with his psychic power, Gronn is a very dangerous
       familiar, and is the most strategic of Tarich's familiars due to
       his abnormal intelligence. While Gronn is not the strongest or
       most durable of Tarich's familiars, he is the smartest, and it
       is known that Gronn has yet to reach his full potential in terms
       of how smart he can get. For the most part, unlike Grodd who
       ended up hating humans, Gronn is very loyal to Tarich, and tends
       to befriend allies of Tarich fairly easily. In battle, Gronn's
       psychic abilities can be resisted against by those with strong
       wills, and some stronger opponents can overpower things like his
       telekinesis powers. Users who can use anti-psychic items or
       abilities can also defend against his abilities that way.

       - Shadow Panther Familiar: Basilei: Basilei is Tarich's female
       shadow panther familiar. Unlike what most people think, black
       panthers are not their own creature, but are black variations of
       other big cats with most usually being black jaguars or
       leopards. When it comes to Basilei, she is a black shadow
       leopard. As a leopard, Basilei is extremely fast, agile, and
       extremely dangerous. Leopards are known for their stealth,
       usually pouncing opponents from higher grounds (like in trees).
       Basilei is able to do everything a leopard can, with Basilei
       also being far stronger than a normal leopard. Basilei is able
       to move in complete silence, in which Basilei uses the death
       wraith combat style to move completely silently. Basilei is able
       to strike opponents with immense force, and has enough force to
       slash off limbs. However, those that know anything about big
       cats know that one of the most dangerous things about them is
       their bite. Basilei may not be a jaguar, but she does take a
       jaguar's strategies of attempting to force enemies down to the
       ground and then biting down on their head to pierce their skulls
       and brains. With Basilei's immense bite strength and strength in
       combat, Basilei is very skilled and unassuming opponents that
       get snuck up on usually are in for a very bad time if Basilei
       gets a hold of them. On top of Basilei's natural big cat
       abilities, Basilei also uses the shadows to hide using death
       wraith shadow meld techniques, and can jump out of shadows to
       attempt to take down an opponent. Basilei is a hunter, and will
       often hunt down Tarich's enemies. Basilei does fight with the
       other familiars, but her best use is allowing her to sneak up on
       opponents (usually while other familiars act as a distraction)
       and allowing her to surprise opponents. Basilei is fast enough
       to run up to 45 miles per hour in short bursts, making her
       faster than most creatures (aside from ones like speed force
       enhanced supernaturals that can run faster than sound). Basilei
       doesn't have any projectile attacks, and is a purely close
       combat type. As one might expect, this does mean that Basilei
       can't take enemies down from a distance unless she calls on some
       of Tarich's abilities like his dark plasma abilities. In terms
       of taking down Basilei, the best thing to do is to avoid Basilei
       as Basilei's raw power and speed makes her very dangerous. If
       one keeps their distance, they can usually avoid her. In terms
       of attack, flashbangs do still work against Basilei (like most
       of Tarich's familiars), and some stronger opponents may outclass
       Basilei.

       - Shadow Python Familiar: Vylis: Vylis is a snake familiar, and
       is designed attack enemies with its constrictor abilities. Vylis
       has immense physical strength, and is able to crush opponents
       when it wraps around others. While Vylis isn't a poison type
       snake, Vylis does have a very strong grip. Vylis is larger than
       normal snakes, being almost the size of a very large anaconda.
       Even though Vylis doesn't eat humans, Vylis is large enough that
       he can wrap around a human and likely crush them. Vylis is
       strong enough that he has even crushed people with armor on,
       being able to even bend metal. Vylis is skilled enough to be
       able to restrain opponents by wrapping around them, usually as a
       means to hold them down while another familiar goes for the kill
       (Vylis and Basilei often work together with Vylis restraining
       the opponent for Basilei to come in and go for the kill). Vylis
       is extremely fast, and can move fast enough that most beings
       cannot track him as Vylis is able to move fast enough that he
       almost disappears from view. For the most part, speed and
       strength are Vylis's main advantages in combat. However, Vylis
       also has scales, formed by shadow energy that act like a natural
       defense. These scales are able to block some attacks (though are
       not nearly as strong as dragon scales), and can absorb heat. By
       absorbing heat, Vylis is able to reduce the temperature in an
       area until it reaches freezing points. Overall, Vylis is a very
       balanced familiar in terms of physical stats, though its lack of
       ability to attack from a distance is a bit of a hindrance. Vylis
       usually relies on stealth and its speed to bridge the gap
       between it and an opponent, and if that isn't enough, Vylis may
       not be able to overcome an opponent. Vylis's lack of a poison
       bite (Since it is a constrictor, not a poison type snake) also
       means that Vylis's bites don't do a whole lot of real damage to
       opponents (its usually used to just anchor Vylis to an opponent
       where Vylis will use a bite to try and keep himself on an
       opponent).

       - Shadow Basilisk Familiar: Trevym: Trevym is Tarich's other
       snake familiar, in which Trevym is a large snake that is
       actually a poison type (unlike his other snake familiar Vylis).
       Trevym is a large snake that is a basilisk type snake, which is
       a supernatural creature. Trevym has a few major abilities as a
       basilisk, and among the most dangerous is its gaze. When Trevym
       meets one's gaze, opponents can be stunned by Trevym's gaze.
       While Trevym cannot turn people to stone like some, meeting its
       gaze instead just stuns them temporarily (how long depends on
       how skilled the opponent is to break free of the effect). This
       skill allows Trevym to be a very dangerous opponent, as Trevym
       can often stun opponents with its gaze, usually for other
       familiars to come in and finish it off. However, Trevym is not
       helpless, and can easily finish off opponents by itself. While
       Trevym lacks the constrictor grip strength, Trevym does have a
       poisonous bite with acidic poison that melts away the body, and
       completely paralyzes the body to the point that enough poison in
       the blood can even paralyze the heart and brain. When bit, the
       poison is a constantly changing poison, so those that can build
       up poison immunities usually cannot handle the poison Trevym can
       deliver (even those immune to poison are usually able to at
       least be affected by the acidic part of the poison). Trevym can
       also spray his poison as a miasma (a cloudy gas based poison),
       and can release this to affect opponents who breathe it in. When
       used as a miasma, the poison loses its acidity, and instead
       becomes a purely paralyzing poison. Trevym is a very dangerous
       familiar, and its scales are extremely strong (stronger than
       Vylis's, but not as strong as Tarich's dragon familiar's scales)
       able to block a lot of attacks. For the most part, Trevym is a
       pure battle type familiar, and is very dangerous if opponents
       don't know what basilisks can do. In order to avoid Trevym, one
       needs only to not meet its gaze, or one can use another surface
       to find Trevym (like one who used a mirror to avoid meeting a
       basilisk's gaze). If poisoned, the best way to combat it is with
       life energy, as Trevym's poison is mostly acidic shadow energy
       (that can also paralyze). The best way to avoid the poison
       though is to not let Trevym bite.

       - Shadow Wolf Familiar: Luno:  Luno is Tarich's shadow wolf
       familiar, who is able to attack much like a wolf. Luno has claws
       that are sharp enough to cut through concrete, and has a bite
       force strong enough to break bricks. Luno has another ability
       though, and that is Luno's connection to nature. Even though
       Luno is a shadow familiar, Luno retained the power of the wolf
       he was copied from. Luno has a powerful nature connection, being
       able to utilize nature spirits and is even able to call on
       plants and animals to help him fight. Luno's nature power also
       includes him being able to fuse the life energy of nature to his
       darkness to create a unique type of darkness in which his
       darkness is able to create life. Normally life powers wouldn't
       be able to be used by death wraiths, but thankfully, Luno's dark
       nature was able to find a way to fuse to the nature powers he
       has. Luno's darkness is able to grow plants from a single seed,
       and can empower animals and plants. Luno's greatest advantage is
       turning the world itself against his opponents, where Luno has a
       very strong connection to the spirits of the world that he can
       call them against his enemies. While this isn't as effective
       against other spirit arts or nature users, this does work really
       well against other beings of death, and against those that
       interrupt the flow of nature. Luno is strongly connected to the
       nature spirits, and can call on them as well to help him fight
       which include being able to call elemental spirits. While the
       spirits he can call into battle are somewhat limited by his dark
       nature, he can call on any nature spirits that he can reach.
       Luno can also sense the balance of life energy of the world, and
       has even been known to use this life energy to restore nature.
       Luno's main use is his nature connection, but in battle his
       agility and speed is also extremely useful. Luno can fight on
       par with most wolves, and can even bounce off surfaces using his
       claws to dig into surfaces. Luno can fight up close or long
       range, and with his speed, is able to run up to 40 miles per
       hour for up to 3 minutes (often outrunning most enemies). To
       beat Luno, powers that defeat nature connections are most
       useful, such as dark spirit abilities (that counter nature
       spirits). Luno is highly resistant to death abilities due to him
       being born of Tarich's death wraith nature, but does have a
       slight weakness to certain elemental spirit powers like fire
       spirits (fire can burn his nature spirits and destroy nature
       around him to remove his connection to nature by destroying the
       nature around him).

       - Shadow Lion Familiar: Leon: Leon is Tarich's shadow lion
       familiar, and another of Tarich's more dangerous familiars. The
       first thing to note is that Leon has claws and strength to rip
       apart a car (Leon is stronger than many lions), and has the
       major bite force of a lion. While not the strongest of the big
       cat's bites, Leon is still strong enough that when he goes for
       the neck, sometimes he is strong enough to separate a head from
       a body. In addition, Leon has a powerful roar. Not many know
       this about lions, but lions can roar at frequencies that can
       paralyze those that hear the roar. Leon knows how this works and
       is able to roar at frequencies that can specifically be tuned to
       opponents. While not every creature is vulnerable to the same
       frequencies, Leon is able to change the frequencies he roars at
       to find one that works on an opponent. With this roar, Leon is a
       very dangerous fighter, as he can paralyze opponents and then
       charge them to try and take them down. Combined with Leon being
       able to dash at speeds of up to 55 miles per hour, Leon is
       extremely fast. Leon is also very unpredictable, in which he can
       change directions when charging to confuse his opponents. Leon
       will often zig zag similar to real lions when they do a mock
       charge. However instead of trying to gauge opponents, Leon does
       it to confuse his opponents when running at them so that they
       don't guess what direction he's going to attack from. Leon is
       most a battle familiar, designed strictly to take down
       opponents. Leon also has incredible senses, where Leon can see,
       smell and hear things most people would miss, just like lions.
       Leon is able to not only easily able to see people, but his
       darkness senses allow him to easily detect other people in
       shadows or others melded with elementals (allowing Leon to
       detect hidden opponents). With Leon's immense strength, it is
       clear to see that he is one of the stronger familiars that
       Tarich has. If one wants to defeat Leon, one's best bet is to
       find a way to neutralize his paralyzing roar, usually by finding
       something that can negate the frequency of the sound waves from
       his roar using things like technological advantages or using
       sound manipulation. Overpowering Leon is difficult, but some
       stronger supernaturals can overpower Leon, as lions are not as
       unbeatable as many think. Most don't know this but bulkier
       animals have been known to be able to resist a lion's attack,
       such as the African murder horse (or hippos as they're normally
       called by everyone else).

       - Shadow Bear Twin Familiars: Myre and Ursula: Myre and Ursula
       are the only two familiars of the same type, both being bears.
       As one might expect, Myre and Ursula are extremely strong with
       all the properties one would expect from a bear. Myre and Ursula
       have the bulk of a bear, which makes them extremely tough and
       hard to damage due to their hides being so strong. The bulk of
       these bear familiars are able to take bullets up to a certain
       caliber, and barely take any damage unless the bullet is armor
       piercing or of a high caliber. Bears are known for taking a lot
       of abuse and having thick bulk that protects their vital organs.
       In addition, Myre and Ursula also have claws and the strength to
       use them. They are able to slash opponents with enough strength
       to slash off limbs. Bears are also strong enough to roll a 700
       pound metal contain around like a beach ball, showing that they
       are extremely strong, which also applies to Myre and Ursula. On
       top of being strong, bears can also run up to 40 miles per hour
       with a fast initial burst that is faster than some animals who
       run at similar speeds. Myre and Ursula are mostly battle
       familiars, and are among the more dangerous familiars when it
       comes to physical combat. Myre and Ursula don't have any ways to
       attack opponents long range unless they use Tarich's plasma or
       darkness abilities (But they usually don't since they aren't
       usually smart enough to think to use them). Myre and Ursula are
       extremely dangerous fighters, but those that know about bears
       weaknesses know there are a few ways to overcome bears. One of
       the most known ways is to stay to the side of the bear as bears
       cannot easily turn their heads and their mobility to attack
       someone to the side of them is very limited. Fighting Myre and
       Ursula on hills is also advantageous for opponents, as opponents
       can use the hills to their advantage as Myre and Ursula  cannot
       stand on two legs when on a hill due to them not being able to
       stand on an incline (limiting their ability to attack).

       - Shadow Hellhound: Seri: Seri is Tarich's shadow hellhound
       familiar. Seri was born from a strong hellhound's shadow, and
       Seri is much larger than normal hellhounds and is stronger than
       most hellhounds. Seri has much of the same abilities as a wolf,
       but is bulkier more like a tiger in that Seri has a strong body
       that surpasses that of normal creatures, possibly due to her
       supernatural nature. Seri, like some hellhounds, manipulates
       dark hellfire, which is generated by Tarich's dark plasma power
       and is much hotter than normal flames (while it is dark in
       nature, the dark hellfire is still just as hot and dangerous as
       normal hellfire). Hellfire is known for being able to scorch
       souls and known for being hot enough to render many beings to
       molten ashes. Seri is very skilled with her dark hellfire, and
       can do things like creating fire waves strong enough to melt
       most objects, create explosive attacks, and even burn someone
       down to their soul. Seri is also very skilled in combat, with
       Seri being able to overpower and outmaneuver a lot of opponents.
       Seri is large but very agile similar to a canine, but has power
       comparable to that of big cats. Seri is also able to devour
       souls when needed, and can use her dark hellfire to torch souls
       and burn away impurities. Usually, this is meant to allow Seri
       to hold on to a soul until it can be taken to the afterlife, but
       sometimes Seri will eat evil souls and use their souls like fuel
       for her power. Seri can store souls in her stomach, and can
       regurgitate them as needed (usually for taking them to the
       afterlife, or to hand them over to Tarich). Seri's major
       weakness is ice manipulation, in which her hellfire can be
       countered like other forms of fire despite it being dark plasma.
       Seri also has a major weakness to demon killing weapons and holy
       power with holy weapons or demon killing weapons being able to
       destroy her manifested bodies easily, thanks to her being a
       demonic entity (though this also means that Seri does have high
       resistance to demonic power and abilities). One can also send
       her back to Tarich's shadow by using a demonic exorcism, forcing
       Seri out of her manifested form.

       - Shadow Raiju: Rael: Rael is a shadow raiju, a creature of
       mythology that is a canine creature of storms. Rael's normal
       form is that of what appears to be similar to a wolf but is made
       of dark lightning using Tarich's dark plasma manipulation. Rael
       is made of dark lightning, and can utilize it to battle
       opponents. Rael is able to use this lightning just as other
       lightning users, such as electrocuting people, concentrating
       lightning into piercing attacks (which often requires Tarich's
       guidance), firing waves of lightning, and even creating blasts
       of lightning. His dark lightning can even use darkness as a
       conductor just like other forms of dark lightning. Rael can even
       change into dark lightning form, in which Rael is able to go
       into an intangible state when in his dark lightning form. Rael
       is able to use this intangible state to move through objects,
       and can use it to attack enemies by passing through solid
       objects as a stream of lightning. When Tarich controls Rael,
       Rael can even concentrate his lightning to disassemble matter
       (though this takes a lot of energy to do). Rael is also able to
       create blasts of sound using his lightning, where he can
       generate a booming sound that can stun people who are close to
       the point of impact of where the lightning hits. By utilizing
       this, Rael is able to stun enemies with this, and when combined
       with things like Leon's roar, certain attacks can be a very
       dangerous combination. Rael is also able to use his claws and
       teeth similar to that of a wolf, where he has claws he can
       attack with. Rael is also very agile and fast, and able to use
       lightning speed to move faster than most eyes can track as Rael
       is able to move like lightning. Rael can even utilize lightning
       to charge toward enemies, where Rael can blast toward opponents
       like a large cannonball of lightning. If one wants to fight
       Rael, the best thing to do is use water, which can short circuit
       Rael's electrical abilities, and can force him out of lightning
       form if used. Rael's electrical abilities also have less effect
       on conductors (while Rael can overpower them with enough energy,
       he usually needs Tarich's guidance to do this). Other than that,
       Rael is able to be defeated like any other wolf if one can
       account for his lightning.

       - Shadow Pamola: Alja: Alja was taken from a bird that was found
       by Native Americans, in which Alja is a shadow pamola. A pamola
       is an ice bird that generates cold wind with its wings, to the
       point that it can create and control ice attacks. Alja is a
       shadow variant of this bird, able to manipulate the air. And by
       using heat absorbing dark plasma, Alja can create a freezing air
       around it by absorbing the heat around it. By moving its wings,
       Alja generates cold wind and can use that cold wind to attack.
       While wind manipulation isn't one of Tarich's techniques, Alja
       is able to use wind manipulation and is one of the only
       familiars Tarich has that uses another element that he's not
       able to use (unless one counts Luno's nature use as earth
       manipulation). Alja is able to use cold wind to freeze the area
       around him, and he can use this to create and fire ice
       projectiles at opponents. When using this in battle, this gives
       Luno a variety of attacks from freezing wind waves to ice
       projectiles to even being able to freeze people in close
       proximity to him. Alja is a bird familiar, so Alja is best used
       when he is flying (and he is useful because he can fire attacks
       from long range). Alja can be used for scouting, but Alja is
       also useful for battle due to his ice manipulation. This cold
       wind manipulation is Alja's main ability in combat, and Alja is
       the only one of Tarich's familiars that controls any form of ice
       power. Alja also has very sharp talons that can be used to rip
       open flesh or tear apart objects, and Alja can even fly
       completely silently to the point that Alja can sneak up on
       opponents by flying completely silently. To beat Alja, fire
       techniques are usually best, but one can also use earth
       manipulation as cover, or use lightning to dispel the ice as
       electricity (which one can run an electrical current through ice
       which is frozen water to revert it back to hydrogen and oxygen).
       Other than its ice abilities, Alja's attack abilities are
       somewhat limited, so if one can counter Alja's attack abilities,
       then they can usually beat Alja since Alja can't do much at
       close range compared to other familiars.

       - Shadow Dragon Familiar: Drail: Drail is the strongest of
       Tarich's familiars, being based on a shadow dragon. However,
       Drail is a literal shadow, taking the shadow in the name to the
       extreme. Drail has all the abilities of a dragon including
       elemental breath. The elemental breath that Drail uses is
       darkness, where he breathes darkness energy on opponents that
       burns almost like fire due to the darkness being generated like
       fire in Drails's shadow body. Drail can breath any darkness type
       that Tarich has, and can use any darkness ability including
       being able to use Tarich's dark plasma abilities (though Drail
       cannot breath dark plasma like some might think). Drail is about
       the size of an elephant (not the size of a full size dragon), so
       Drail is not as big as he could be. However, Drail is still
       extremely strong, and can use most of the normal dragon skills
       like dragon claw slashes, dragon roars and other techniques.
       Drail also has enhanced dragon scales made of concentrated
       darkness energy (as Drail is a manifested shadow familiar), and
       Drail's scales can defend him from anything normal dragon scales
       can defend against. Drail's scales act like armor for its body,
       and like most dragons, Drail is extremely hard to pierce if one
       isn't prepared. Drail also has dragon senses, including the
       dragon's rhythm sense which allows Drail to see the rhythm of
       the world around him (also allowing him to detect enemies
       normally undetectable by normal sixth senses). Drail's wings are
       also extremely powerful, in which he can use them as shields,
       and can even fire darkness attacks from them by using his
       darkness energy in his body to form around the wings. Drail is
       the largest and strongest of Tarich's familiars, and is strong
       enough that he overpowers any of Tarich's familiars (though only
       due to his larger size). Drail is also quite fast, where Drail
       can fly faster and run almost as fast as Tarich's fastest
       familiars. If one wants to beat Drail, using the power of light
       is one's best bet (as it is the counter element to shadow
       dragons). It is also possible to do more damage to Drail using
       dragon hunter powers and weapons, which hurt Drail as much as
       any other dragon.

       Combat Abilities
       - Death Wraith Todesgeister Style Mastery: This is the style of
       basic combat taught to all death wraiths that has been passed
       down among death wraiths. This style combines basic defensive
       and offensive movement with death wraith shadow power, where the
       death wraiths learn to combine their physical combat with their
       shadows in order to attack opponents with a combination of
       physical abilities and darkness abilities. This could be as
       simple as extending a punch using shadows to throw a punch at an
       opponent, or turning a shadow into a blade to use a weapon-esque
       style. Typically this style can be mixed with mortal martial
       arts, or can be mixed with other supernatural power as well to
       make a more unique style. This style is very adaptable,
       depending on the death wraith and what they prefer in fights, as
       well as depending on how adaptable the individual death wraith
       is in their combat style. This is a fairly basic style to most,
       but allows a bit of customization depending on the death wraith
       and their skill at combat. Masters of this style are able to use
       this for attack and defense using fluid motion and depending on
       the death wraith, can focus on their durability, strength,
       agility, flexibility and/or speed, depending on the death
       wraith's own individual abilities. Typically, this style can mix
       supernatural power and physical combat in a variety of ways,
       such as certain abilities giving physical attacks more impact,
       or some extending a fighter's reach, or even some that can be
       used for more mobility and speed. This style can be used on it's
       own for pure physical combat, a mix of supernatural and physical
       power, or it can be used as a weapon style to mix weapon combat
       with supernatural abilities of the death wraiths. Since each
       Death Wraith is different, how they use this is typically
       different and tailored to each death wraith just like their soul
       sword is. Typically this style is taught to a basic death
       wraiths, and they usually find their own ways to use the finer
       points of it and develop their own variation of the style that
       they master as they continue training. While not as skilled as
       Kierran, Tarich is still a pretty skilled combatant, enough that
       he has earned his place among the elite death wraiths.
       - Elite Soul Collector Combat Masters: A Death Wraith specially
       trained is a skilled warrior and highly trained assassin. Those
       with elite soul collector combat training can specialize in
       several death wraith and human martial arts, and have an easier
       time learning new combat styles thanks to their advanced
       training for taking on mortals and lost souls. These Death
       Wraith are at peak performance levels for their kind and train
       for maximum control over powers and physical body, as this
       training helps focus the things that hurt other combat
       specialists, and most death wraith learn to minimize their own
       body's distractions in battle. Those that are trained in this
       are trained specifically to fight lost souls, hollows and other
       forms of ghosts or specters that they might face in the living
       world. This is specifically taught to those that are part of the
       soul collection teams, and typically taught in lesser capacity
       to those that are trained as part of the dark spirit hunter
       teams in case they find a lost souls or specter they have to
       face. This style also teaches other aspects of a death wraith's
       abilities, and allows both males and females to shut down all
       emotional and reproductive systems to allow for peak performance
       and to keep down the chances for getting distracted, allowing
       them to keep their minds focused on fights when they need to.
       However, the biggest problem with this style is that being too
       focused can lead to being surprised by sneak attacks or by
       interruptions to fights due to how focused they become on
       fights. However, advanced and master level death wraiths are
       able to use this without losing focus on the environment around
       them, having tuned to a balance between focus on the fight and
       focus on what's around them so they don't find themselves too
       focused or too distracted. While Tarich is not the most skilled
       combatant, he has kept up with his combat training, and is a
       very skilled warrior. Tarich has learned to use this and can use
       this without losing focus on the environment since he is a
       highly advanced user. While not master level, he is still quite
       good at using this combat technique.
       - Dark Spirit Hunter Combat Masters: Those death wraiths that
       are part of the dark spirit hunter teams are trained
       specifically in this type of combat, where death wraiths are
       taught as much as possible about dark spirits, dark spirit
       types, and the abilities of dark spirits. Users of this combat
       training are trained specifically to fight dark spirits, and can
       handle combat with almost any kind of dark spirit. Fighting dark
       spirits takes more than just a soul sword and purifying
       darkness, as death wraiths have to learn the abilities of dark
       spirits and how to counter them in order to not be overtaken by
       certain unique spirits that have strange and unique abilities.
       For example, a consumer's ability to absorb energy means that
       most typical energy type attacks like elements or other energies
       would simply be absorbed, and that means most unique soul sword
       projectile attacks wouldn't work on a consumer. Death wraiths
       are taught specific abilities and weaknesses of dark spirits,
       and how to counter almost any dark spirit ability they know of.
       Users of this are experts in dark spirits, and specialize in
       hunting down dark spirits of the shadow realm. Thanks to this
       training, those trained in this combat are able to focus
       specifically on destroying dark spirits, and usually are able to
       focus enough to identify and often find weaknesses in a dark
       spirit they hunt down. While soul collector death wraiths are
       trained in this to a much lesser degree, dark spirit hunter
       death wraith teams have to be specifically trained in this
       combat training, and quickly have to learn how to become masters
       of battling dark spirits, lest they be overwhelmed and killed by
       dark spirits. Many death wraiths who don't take this seriously
       have been killed by dark spirits, or worse, been consumed by
       dark spirits. This style is focused on dark spirits though, and
       not so much on any other kind of creature, so it's useless
       against anything not of the shadow realm. Masters can apply
       certain aspects of this to fighting other darkness users though,
       or other abilities similar to darkness abilities that operate on
       similar principles. Tarich is not a master dark spirit hunter
       like Drakath's team was, but Tarich has become very skilled at
       fighting dark spirits in his time in the living world, as he has
       had to fight off dark spirits who make it to the living world.
       - Death Wraith Human Fighting Styles: During their time on
       earth, and to learn different combat abilities, most death
       wraiths opt to learn human styles of combat. Depending on the
       death wraith, their abilities, and their access to teachers who
       can train them, death wraiths can learn almost any human
       fighting style thanks to their human adaptability and can even
       optimize some styles with their supernatural abilities.
       Depending on the death wraith, there are plenty of options, as
       humanity has a great number of styles taught all over the world.
       Depending on the combat that the death wraith might be opting
       for, some styles may work better than others. For example,
       styles that focus on distance and not getting too close to an
       opponent might be better to fight dark spirits who can affect
       opponents through physical touch, or some that focus on bone
       snapping or grappling might work against lost souls depending on
       the style's effect on the lost soul. This is usually up to the
       death wraith, and they can often learn multiple styles. Usually,
       it is better to learn one and master it, but some can also learn
       multiple styles and blend them together as well since sometimes
       certain styles combined together can be more versatile than the
       styles individually. Among popular choices are Karate (A style
       that focuses more on fluid movement and attack), Jujitsu (a
       style that uses grapples and throws primarily) Krav Maga (an
       Israeli army favorite designed to kill opponents), Kenpo (a
       style that may focus on strikes, grapples or other aspects
       depending on the variation), Muay Thai (a style that utilizes
       joints for deadly strikes in combination with normal attacks),
       and Shotokan Karate (a style that focuses on minimal movement
       and focus above all else). Each style is unique and can be
       learned by death wraiths. There are also supernatural combat
       styles that death wraiths can learn, such as swordsman death
       wraiths could learn sword styles like Shingetsu (a style that
       combines piercing with sword draws to create a fast and
       versatile style), Gatotsu (A simplistic style that is easy to
       predict but hard to counter for those that fight using simpler
       attack styles), Hiten Mitsurugi (a style that combines
       incredible speed and predicting opponents to allow users to more
       easily counter opponents), Kenjutsu (a basic combat style that
       is easily customizable and can be adjusted using an opponent's
       preferred combat style), and Kendo (another simpler style that
       focuses on how to properly utilize a sword in battle). Every
       style has its strengths and weaknesses, and each style can be
       countered by other styles depending on the style. Tarich has
       learned a number of combat skills in his time in the living
       world, and has learned aspects of Karate, jujitsu, Muay Thai,
       and even Krav Maga. While he is not a master of these styles, he
       has learned to apply these styles to his death wraith combat,
       such as using Krav Maga takedown techniques combined with his
       stealth combat for silent takedowns.
       - Death Wraith Stealth Combat Master (Stealth and Tracking
       Evasion Master): Death wraiths specialize in stealth, and this
       shows in their combat thanks to their specialized combat
       training. They are not only able to fight with stealth, but they
       have the ability to avoid tracking of most kinds thanks to their
       natural abilities. For the most part, death wraiths are masters
       of stealth, being able to hide from anyone around them, usually
       through the use of shadows, though masters of combat are able to
       hide without using shadows and using just their combat
       abilities. For the most part, when one tries to track down a
       death wraith, they eliminate most things that would normally
       give them away to trackers, such as causing things like blood,
       hair and skin particles to disappear into the shadows, or even
       being able to stay silent so that others cannot hear them. Most
       death wraiths are able to avoid trackers to a large degree, and
       are able to use their abilities in stealth in ways most normally
       wouldn't. Advanced death wraiths and master level death wraiths
       are able to use this style to hide even in plain sight, where
       they can use the environment to hide themselves from opponents.
       For the most part, the only times a death wraith is found is
       when they want to be, they are facing a powerful tracker that
       knows how to track death wraiths, or they are being tracked with
       a supernatural spell. This is taught to all death wraiths, and
       is useful in both the shadow realm and in the living world
       whether they are soul collector teams or dark spirit hunter
       teams.
       - Death Wraith Combat Speed Art: Stealth Step: This style is a
       stepping method focused around stealth, in which it was
       developed similarly to a soul reapers Flashstep, or the hollow
       art of Sonido. This allows death wraiths to use advanced speed
       arts, in which they are able to use high speed stepping methods
       to get ahead of most opponents and move at higher speeds. There
       are a number of arts that come with this stepping method. The
       biggest one is the shadow replacement, where a death wraith can
       leave behind shadows, in the form of the user in order to fool
       opponents, allowing a user to use a darkness form to fool an
       opponent into thinking they hit the user, and opens them up to
       attack if the user falls for this. This is similar to a
       replacement technique where people replace themselves with
       things like clones or ninja art using logs. The art makes no
       sound upon use, as it's designed for stealth over anything else,
       and utilizes special stepping methods that are meant to be
       completely silent. Upon using this, a death wraith makes no
       sound at all, meaning that foot steps cannot be heard, making a
       death wraith's stealth-based combat even more dangerous when
       combined with their stealth arts. While this art is speedy and
       can be used for stealth, it still works similar to other
       stepping methods, where things like disappearing from view can
       only be done while in motion. Typically, faster opponents that
       can keep up with them aren't fooled by this though, and this
       typically works best against opponents that can't keep up with
       their speed. However, this style is meant more to be the
       stepping method that is the basis of most of their combat
       styles, since stepping methods are extremely important in combat
       styles and often form the basis of a good combat style, since
       legwork is one of the most important basic aspects of moving
       around in battle.
       - Supernatural Strengths and Weaknesses Expert: Since the death
       wraiths have fought for so long and fought so many supernaturals
       both dead and alive, they have learned everything they can about
       other races and have become experts in almost every kind of
       creature, even knowing a lot of creatures that have been
       forgotten by time and knowing most creatures in the world.
       Typically, death wraiths specialize in dark spirit and lost soul
       hunting, but they also have to learn about all kinds of beings
       and how to collect their souls when in the human world, since
       even supernaturals have to be taken to the afterlife. The death
       wraiths have entire libraries on all manners of supernatural
       lore and creatures, and they know the strengths and weaknesses
       of almost every race that has ever lived in their universe (not
       counting some creatures from other universes or some creatures
       from the space between dimensions). This is a very useful
       knowledge base, which includes spells, exorcisms and traps used
       against almost all manners of supernaturals. For the most part,
       the death wraiths as a race have been around since before most
       races in the world and have had the time to record a lot of
       information for other death wraiths on how to hunt down and
       fight specific types of supernaturals. Though the death wraiths
       are not specifically supernatural hunters in the traditional
       sense, they do have to know how to fight supernaturals when they
       are collecting souls of dead supernaturals, as many death
       wraiths would testify. As many death wraiths will mention,
       simply collecting souls isn't just about countering spirit
       power, but supernatural powers of the beings they have to fight.
       Master level death wraiths have even been known to be able to
       collect full size dragon souls, and fight full size dragons that
       have died (depending on the universe), due to someone having to
       take the souls to the afterlife. Tarich has more easily learned
       supernatural combat in his time in the living world since he's
       had to fight a lot of supernaturals over the years.
       - Supernatural Hunting and Tracking: Though not supernatural
       hunters, the death wraiths know a lot of the tricks supernatural
       hunters use through research into supernatural hunting
       techniques and observation of mortals, and picked up a lot of
       tricks to track people down partially through experience of
       hunting down supernatural souls, but also through the knowledge
       that the death wraiths have gained since they were established
       by Toranoraos. This has left them with not only a great sense
       for hunting down opponents they need to hunt down, but also left
       them with an innate ability to track opponents as they have to
       track down souls. Typically, they specialize in tracking ghosts,
       dead souls or hollows, but also learn to track living beings
       depending on what they end up having to do. They are able to
       learn to do very subtle things, like tell whether a foot print
       is his target or not by things like the shape of the boot and
       how deep the boot-print is, as well as also being able to tell
       where their opponents go thanks to circumstances like walking on
       plants, and animals that are unusually silent being signs of
       predators in an area. They usually have a sense of when
       opponents are near, as well as usually knowing which way an
       opponent is going. And thanks to supernatural senses as well as
       enhanced normal senses, almost all werecreatures have a great
       sense of where things are around them. Depending on the death
       wraith, most often learn either to track supernaturals and
       souls, or they may learn to track dark spirits depending on
       their job, so this is a very important skill to have since death
       wraiths have to be able to track down targets whether its in the
       Shadow Realm, The Veil or the living world.
       - Supernatural Hunter Training: Exorcism, Weakness and Trap
       Knowledge: All death wraiths are trained in how to use demonic
       exorcisms and traps for a multitude of creatures and
       mythologies, due to their need to know how to counter other
       races. During their time working for Toranoraos as soul
       collectors and dark spirit hunters, they were taught many
       manners of exorcisms and traps in order to take advantage of
       other races weaknesses that other species use. For example, the
       death wraiths know that holy oil works well for trapping angels,
       and know to make demon traps to trap demons. For the most part,
       they also know how most supernaturals operate, in case they
       should find themselves up against the souls of supernatural
       beings. The death wraiths are fully trained on every recorded
       way their order has on taking on supernaturals and they use this
       knowledge to make their soul collection jobs easier. Typically,
       this is taught mostly to soul collection teams, since dark
       spirit hunting teams have their own special training. Death
       wraiths have had a long time to record ways to trap, exorcise
       and find weaknesses of many of the types of beings that live in
       the mortal realm. As death wraiths will testify, knowledge in
       exorcism, trapping supernaturals and knowing weaknesses has made
       their jobs collecting supernatural souls so much easier, and
       some masters of these arts can easily trap or exorcise beings
       while using their ability to trap souls to contain a soul
       without needing to fight a long and lengthy battle to weaken the
       soul first.
       - Murderous Intent Sense: This lets those with this sense when
       an attack is coming. This is a skill warriors get by fighting
       constantly for many years, learning how to sense someone's
       murderous intent usually through encountering it first-hand.
       This lets the user read their environment as well as the spirits
       of people around them in order to see what attacks might be
       coming their way by reading an opponent's body language and the
       "sense" of people around them. This gives them a passive sense
       of reading people who might try to hurt them, as they can sense
       when someone is ready to attack. Some can sense this literally,
       but most sense it in an instinctive way once their instincts
       have been developed through constant fighting and battles. This
       gives the user time to dodge or avoid an attack, and to some
       extent, helps the person predict what opponents will do in a
       fight. For example, by reading an opponent's body language, such
       as how they move or how tense they might be, a user of this can
       read opponents. However, this sense is not perfect, and some
       opponents can't be read if they have similar skills or can
       disguise their murderous intent or they learn skills that can
       trick people with this sense. This sense is usually pretty
       reliable unless one can suppress their murderous intent, and is
       usually instinctive among people who have seen a lot of battle
       and those that have fought for their lives multiple times. The
       only real way to develop this is experience, as no amount of
       training can truly grasp how this sense truly works. Death
       wraiths, as they get older and more experienced, can hone this
       to great degrees, as death wraiths can live for much longer than
       most creatures would be able to.
       Passive Abilities:
       - Death Wraith Affinity for Darkness Abilities: Death wraiths
       have a natural affinity for darkness manipulation, and have a
       natural ability to pick up new darkness techniques and powers
       depending on their skill sets. Many death wraiths can pick up
       how to utilize darkness techniques that opponents might use, or
       learn to counter almost any kind of darkness. The only darkness
       that death wraiths have trouble with is whispering darkness,
       which comes from Xeles and drives even darkness users crazy if
       the darkness doesn't kill them first. Death wraiths are among
       the most natural darkness users in the multiverse, designed
       specifically for darkness over light. While they do have limits,
       death wraiths natural affinities for darkness make them among
       the best darkness users. While they cannot copy all darkness
       types and abilities (as their ability to learn new darkness
       abilities often depends on their own capabilities), they do
       learn how most darkness powers work quickly, and can learn ways
       to counter most darkness abilities that they may not have. One
       such example is corrupted darkness, which death wraiths know how
       it works, but cannot absorb corrupted darkness due to it being
       like poison to darkness users. Depending on the user and their
       knowledge, some darkness techniques might prove difficult to
       analyze and try to replicate. For example, a spirit user that
       combines darkness with spirit energy isn't going to be able to
       be used by a death wraith who cannot manipulate spirit energy,
       though they may learn how it works and know how to counter it if
       they analyze it. The only darkness that death wraiths often have
       trouble with are those used by dark spirits, as dark spirits
       darkness doesn't always follow the normal laws of darkness, such
       as how dark spirits can access the deep shadow realm from pure
       darkness (darkness that is devoid of all light).
       - Death Wraith Immunity to Shadow/Death Effects: Due to the
       death wraiths being born and created in darkness, they are
       completely immune to most darkness abilities and the effects of
       death energy due to how powerful their darkness is. For the most
       part, death wraiths are able to resist almost any form of
       darkness as well as death energy effects like rotting or acidic
       shadows, or the rotting effects of death energy. While they can
       still be hurt by the physical force of attacks, or they can be
       hurt by impact or slash damage of attacks, they are completely
       immune to any specific extra effects of darkness or death
       energy. Usually, darkness powers are dangerous to use on a death
       wraith since most darkness attacks don't do any real damage
       other than physical damage, and some death wraiths might not
       take physical damage from shadow attacks (such as shadow slashes
       or shadow blasts), other than slight impact damage. Of course,
       one should know that beings born of darkness would be almost
       completely immune to the power of darkness. There are a few
       exceptions to this, such as corrupted light and corrupted
       darkness, which can still be used to damage death wraiths,
       certain dark spirits can overpower this as well depending on the
       dark spirit or certain death abilities like a death scythe or a
       grim reapers mix of life and death energies may still be able to
       hurt a death wraith depending on their skill. Of course, with
       this immunity, due to them being creatures of death and shadows,
       death wraiths are more vulnerable to light and the effects of
       life energies, since these forces can counter their natures.
       - Death Wraith Resistance to Dark Spirit/Dark Arts/Dark Magic:
       While not immune to dark spirits and dark magics, death wraiths
       do gain some resistance to them thanks to them being made of
       darkness. Most death wraiths have heavy resistances to dark
       arts, dark magic or any power that uses darkness. While most one
       would think death wraiths would be immune to these kinds of
       abilities, some of these abilities utilize other aspects that
       can damage death wraiths. However, over time, death wraiths have
       learned to reduce the effects of dark arts and dark magics used
       against them. Dark arts are fairly simple, as they are powered
       by darkness, and often are used by creatures like dark spirits
       or other primordial dark entities. Because the dark arts were
       originally developed by Xeles, they are specifically designed to
       fight death wraiths as the dark spirits main enemies, so death
       wraiths cannot gain complete immunity to dark arts used by those
       that are empowered by those like Xeles or Phantom. In terms of
       dark magic, it mostly the same situation, except that dark magic
       is powered by darkness to utilize magic, so death wraiths cannot
       become completely immune to dark magic unless they have a magic
       immunity in addition to their darkness effect immunity. Dark
       spirits are among the most dangerous as they specifically are
       designed to kill death wraiths, so most dark spirits have ways
       to counter death wraith immunities to darkness effects or have
       darkness abilities that can hurt them. While they do have
       resistance to most dark spirit based abilities, death wraiths
       don't have immunity to Xeles's whispering darkness, and some
       more powerful darkness abilities that some dark spirits possess.
       While they can counter these abilities, these abilities are some
       that cannot gain resistance to.
       - Death Wraith Soul Weapon Bond: All death wraiths have soul
       weapons in some form, which are connected to them directly. Like
       many races ability to connect with their unique weapons, death
       wraiths gain a special bond with their weapons, which works
       similarly to soul reaper's zanpakuto bonds. A death wraith has
       to bond with the spirit of their weapon, which allows them a
       permanent connection that grants a few abilities. The first is
       that the death wraith can summon and desummon their weapons at
       any time. Depending on the weapon, some may have unique ways of
       calling their weapon, like some death wraiths call their weapon
       from their shadow, or some may manifest it using some kind of
       energy. Regardless of the method, their weapons are always able
       to be summoned and desummoned in some manner. The other ability
       is that death wraiths can control their weapons, usually through
       almost telekinetic means, by working with the weapon's spirit.
       When in harmony, the death wraiths weapons become not only an
       extension of themselves, but the weapon spirits can also help
       their owners, such as some weapon spirits being able to hold
       together injuries using their power or some weapon spirits who
       might be able to grant their energy to users to help keep them
       from dying in dire situations (if they have energy to give their
       hosts). The most common though is telekinetic control, where
       death wraiths often are able to control their weapons by working
       with their weapons spirits. While they don't speak or
       communicate in a traditional sense, the user's bond with the
       weapon can help a death wraith understand their weapon's moods,
       as weapons can reflect moods by how they act, such as some
       weapons might only activate under certain circumstances. This
       also allows a death wraith to fix their soul weapon if it is
       broken by desummoning it and letting it absorb spirit energy
       until it repairs itself. Overall, this bond requires the weapon
       and death wraith to keep their spirits harmonized together, and
       if this balance falls apart, the death wraith may lose the
       ability to use the weapon's abilities, or in extreme cases,
       might not be able to summon the blade at all. See Weapons for

       - Death Wraith Supernatural Lifespan: The death wraiths are
       different from mortals, and live far longer than most creatures.
       Death wraiths live over a million years before dying of old age.
       This is mostly thanks to their regenerative powers of shadows
       and the fact they spend most of their lives in the shadow realm.
       The longest living death wraith lived up about 1.5 million
       years. Aside from creatures like angels and demons with no
       definite life span, death wraiths have the longest life spans of
       any known supernatural creatures. This means that most death
       wraiths age extremely slowly once they hit a certain point of
       their life cycle, and only once they reach about 950 thousand
       years does the age start to degrade their abilities, including
       their regeneration, in which they start aging until they die of
       old age over the course of the next 100,000 years. For the most
       part, depending on the strength of the regenerative power, some
       can live past a million years, but most usually die somewhere
       around the million year mark due to the fact they lose the
       ability to use a lot of their powers, and their lack of
       regeneration can longer keep them from getting weaker from old
       age. Until they reach the point where their abilities weaken,
       they typically remain very strong in their abilities and are
       usually in what many would consider a prime age range. The
       reason this is hard to predict is partially due to how, even
       weakened, aging death wraith still regenerate, still slowing
       their aging, so exact life spans are not easy to calculate for a
       race that lives over a million years. This also doesn't prevent
       them from being killed by enemies, as they can still be killed
       by enemies or by sicknesses depending on the situation. They can
       still be killed as most other creatures can as a whole, but this
       more just covers their natural life span.
       - Multilingual and Ancient Language Experts: Death wraiths have
       been around for a very long time and have had time to travel the
       world doing their job protecting humans and collecting souls or
       hunting dark spirits, so they have had plenty of time to learn
       other languages in order to interact with people. Some older
       death wraiths may even know certain out of date dead languages
       (languages with no new words being added and aren't spoken
       anymore), with some even being familiar with certain older
       languages that most wouldn't know. However, the time they have
       spent fighting supernaturals has also led to them learning other
       languages they need to understand other creatures, such as
       learning Enochian to learn more about angels as a whole, or
       learning Hebrew to learn more about fallen angels and demons. Of
       course, that's not to also mention the fact that all death
       wraiths have at least a few spoken languages they have to learn,
       with English, Spanish, and French being among the most common
       language families for them to learn. Because most death wraiths
       have been around for a long time, most death wraiths have also
       developed an affinity for learning new languages, and there are
       many with a collection of languages they know. It is also easier
       to learn a language if one is familiar with the language tree,
       such as Spanish and Portuguese being very similar languages due
       to being in the same language tree (though some might find the
       similarity between similar languages a bit too difficult to
       learn at times). Overall, death wraiths always have multiple
       languages they can speak depending on where they live or spend
       their time, whether it's for learning about supernaturals,
       learning to write and read in other languages, or just learning
       it to be able to communicate with other people who speak other
       languages. Regardless of the initial reason, most death wraiths
       know at least a few languages, and have an affinity for learning
       new languages due to having to learn multiple languages that
       they learn to pick up on other languages much more easily.
       Tarich has learned a number of languages in his time on earth,
       having to learn languages like Enochian and biblical Hebrew to
       take on fallen angels and demons, and even learning other
       culture languages like Latin. In terms of spoken languages,
       Tarich knows English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Chinese,
       Japanese and even African languages as he has traveled the world
       in his time in the living world.
       - Supernatural Telepathy: This ability lets a supernatural
       creature communicate telepathically with anyone they can connect
       to. Typically this power uses their supernatural power, in which
       they use it to tune to a person if they know where they are in
       order to communicate with them. This lets them communicate with
       other people without having to speak, with them being able to
       share thoughts directly with others when the creature isn't
       speaking out loud. However, usually the creature has to know
       where the person is to use this basic telepathy since they have
       to know where to send their thoughts and communication. However,
       this doesn't apply to those who establish permanent connections
       (as this allows those with permanent connections to always be
       able to communicate with someone they have this permanent
       connection with), such as connecting to other family members and
       close friends. This lets creatures not only communicate with
       those they have a permanent connect with, but can also tell them
       where they are at any time should they require to find them or
       need to be summoned to them (which some supernaturals can learn
       to summon those that they have special connections with). Those
       who are set up with permanent connections have to accept the
       connection, and even then, they can sever it if they choose to.
       However, there are ways to block telepathic communications, such
       as certain frequencies that may confuse the mind's ability to
       process telepathy, or certain wards that might prevent
       telepathy. There are also certain types of opponents who can
       listen in on communication done telepathically (it is rare, but
       sometimes it does happen sometimes with certain psychic
       opponents).
       - Death Wraith Enhanced Intelligence/Memory: Depending on the
       death wraith, most death wraiths have enhanced minds thanks to
       their supernatural power. The first thing that is enhanced is
       their intelligence, in which some death wraiths gain certain
       intelligence boosts depending on the death wraith. This has a
       few uses, such as allowing a death wraith to more easily learn
       information, or might help death wraiths develop strategies for
       certain situations. Depending on the death wraith, some might
       gain stronger intelligence than others, and depending on the
       family or training they get, they may gain unique ways to
       utilize this (though this typically varies depending on the
       death wraiths born heritage and their capacities). The second
       enhancement is to the death wraith's memory, where death wraiths
       typically have very good memory thanks to their supernatural
       enhancement of the brain. Most death wraiths have a hard time
       forgetting things, and some smarter death wraiths may even have
       a photographic memory depending on the death wraith. Death
       wraiths usually have a balance of enhancements to intelligence,
       memory, and reflexes. Death wraiths usually have enhancements in
       most regards, but may suffer reduced stats in one aspect to
       balance their minds. For example, a death wraith that is focused
       in intelligence might have bad memory, or a death wraith with
       great reflexes and memory may not have high intelligence.
       Overall, each death wraith has a unique balance, that is usually
       determined by the family and the capabilities of the death
       wraith. Part of this also is determined by their training and
       the influences on their lives, such as combat training might
       enhance the reflexes of the body in combat, or a thorough
       education might increase intelligence. Overall, while death
       wraiths are smart and have good memory, they can be outclassed
       by other races, specifically humans who are known to be far
       smarter in order to compete with strong supernatural creatures.
       Tarich is extremely smart, but he mostly has good memory. Most
       of his intelligence over the last few years has been dedicated
       to motorcycles and how to fix and build them. Though he does
       still have modern tech knowledge (even if it's not advanced
       knowledge like knowledge of alien tech).
       - Death Wraith Enhanced Reflexes: The last enhancement that
       death wraiths gain is the enhancement of their reflexes, which
       allows them to react much faster than most creatures can due to
       many death wraiths often having a major talent and end up
       training specifically for combat. Depending on the death wraith
       and the training some death wraiths are able to utilize their
       enhanced reflexes to react far more quickly, with older and more
       experienced death wraiths sometimes even learning to train their
       reflexes to allow them to dodge attacks without thinking, a
       highly advanced combat skill among supernaturals and even
       martial artists. Typically, all of these enhancements work in
       unison, and depending on the death wraith, the balance of
       enhancements may be different depending on the specific death
       wraith, and their natural abilities (such as smarter death
       wraiths might gain better intelligence, but more combat-based
       death wraiths could gain stronger reflexes). Death wraiths can
       not only gain this through supernatural enhancement, but combat
       oriented death wraiths gain further enhanced reflexes through
       training in combat. This ability is something that many death
       wraiths gain, with advanced death wraiths and higher level death
       wraiths being able to react to attacks almost instantly
       depending on their training. Typically, most death wraiths are
       either balanced with a slight increase to all their enhanced
       mind stats, or they can specialize in specific stats for higher
       stats, but this usually means lesser stats in certain other
       aspects as a result (Like an enhanced intelligence and reflexes
       might have poor memory). Tarich has trained his reflexes through
       physical combat training to be at the peak of death wraith
       combat, and has very good reflexes. While not the best, Tarich
       has reflexes that are pretty fast thanks to his combat training,
       and can easily keep up with most supernatural reflexes.
       - Death Wraith Darkvision and Enhanced Senses: Death wraiths
       have highly enhanced vision, and gain highly enhanced ability to
       see in the dark. Death wraiths are able to see in the dark as
       easily as in the light thanks to their dark natures, and are
       able to operate even in complete darkness thanks to their
       supernatural vision they gain from being death wraiths. Some
       death wraiths may have varying degrees of this power, with some
       having stronger vision than others in the darkness and some can
       strengthen this vision over time and training, but all death
       wraiths have this to some degree. In addition to this though,
       death wraiths also have highly enhanced senses depending on the
       death wraith. Each death wraith may have a different balance of
       senses, but all of their senses are enhanced to some degree.
       This depends mostly on the death wraith, and partially on how
       they train their senses as they grow. Most death wraiths
       specialize in vision and hearing, with some even learning to see
       in total blinding conditions depending on the death wraith and
       what they can do. However, while most death wraiths do have
       highly enhanced senses, death wraiths enhanced senses can be
       overwhelmed by certain things, such as enhanced sight could be
       overwhelmed by a flashbang (which can work quite well against a
       death wraith), or a strong sense of smell could be overwhelmed
       with a strong enough smell such as chlorine gas. This depends on
       the death wraith and their senses, but most death wraiths can be
       overwhelmed in their senses in some way with almost all being
       vulnerable to flashbangs due to their darkvision and enhanced
       vision. Some that are more balanced in their senses may not be
       as easy to overwhelm, but they may not be able to keep up with
       certain enhanced senses as a result. Depending on the death
       wraith, some may even gain special senses that are unique to
       them if they are hybrids or have the power of other races, such
       as a werewolf/death wraith hybrid would have a werewolf sense of
       smell.
       - Death Wraith Presence Sense: Much like other supernaturals,
       death wraiths can sense the presence of other beings, and
       sensing who and what they are. This can sense not only one's
       presence, but their levels of energy and how tough they are,
       allowing the user to gauge how they stand against them, as well
       as often being able to tell what they are by their presence if
       the user recognizes what kind of presence it is. This is a
       passive skill that many supernaturals possess, including death
       wraiths. This skill works by using the mind's connection to the
       world around them, harnessing their connection to the world
       through this sense. Most consider this like a sixth sense, and
       some users of this can even use this to sense the presences of
       ghosts and other spiritual entities thanks to the ability to
       sense presences. This not only allows one to sense the presence
       of someone, but this allows one to sense energy as a whole as
       well, making it a way to overall get a picture of the energy
       around them and can identify living things based on their
       presence and energy. However, this can be deceived by skilled
       opponents, sometimes not appearing correctly if the user can't
       sense the opponent's full power or use powers that fool this
       sense like how ki users can suppress their power. There are also
       skills that hide one's presence, whether fully or partially
       which can also be used to deceive this kind of sense. Most death
       wraiths are able to use this to sense not just what's around
       them, but they are able to use this ability to sense what's
       going on around the world through the shadows, and when big
       presences appear, like Lucifer, or higher level angels and
       demons due to their connection to the primordial realms
       (specifically the primordial darkness).
       - Death Wraith Emotional Manipulation: One of the biggest laws
       of death wraith culture is the controlling of one's emotions,
       which all death wraiths have to learn. And in doing so, they
       suppress their emotions, with most using cold logic instead of
       emotions so that emotions will not hinder their ability to
       combat enemies, or fall under the influence of things like dark
       spirits, which is usually a big danger for them. For the most
       part, death wraiths can feel emotions, but are taught to
       suppress them in order to not only help with controlling
       themselves, but also to help their stealth since not having
       emotions can hide them from certain opponents that can sense
       emotions or killing intent. This emotional manipulation is the
       main method death wraiths use to keep themselves from having to
       worry about their emotions, and use this to always keep their
       emotions suppressed, as they see emotions as "corruptive"
       influences due to their long history of dark spirits using
       emotions against them. The only time that death wraiths are
       allowed emotions are typically under special circumstances, such
       as choosing mates, which even then many death wraith choose
       mates through logic rather than emotion. This can be a danger to
       death wraiths though, since they not only don't deal with
       emotions, they rarely allow powers that rely on emotions due to
       the death wraiths viewing emotions as corruptive. However, there
       are powers that are designed to help more emotional death
       wraiths learn to harness their emotions, so death wraiths do
       have plenty of options for learning different ways of
       controlling their emotions. This can be overwhelmed by those
       like Xeles though, or stronger psychic abilities might be able
       to overpower this as well depending on the abilities. The
       strength of this skill depends on the strength of the death
       wraith's will, which determines how strong this training can be.
       - Death Wraith Self-Control Manipulation: Like soul reapers,
       death wraiths have to train inward in order to unlock their soul
       swords, and protect their minds from things like corruptive
       energies and dark energies. In doing so, they are able to go
       into their mind/spirit's world, which is unique for each person.
       Similar to some supernatural creature's mind training, like the
       disciplined mind art of the Darkfires, death wraiths are able to
       learn how to control their inner world, using it for controlling
       things like emotions and helping them avoid certain psychic
       abilities. Death wraiths use this to help keep their emotions
       suppressed when they need to as a second stage of their
       emotional suppression, so that they are able to keep themselves
       from letting too many emotions cloud them. Since many death
       wraiths consider certain emotions of humans to be a hindrance
       rather than a strength, they aim to suppress emotions that might
       hinder a death wraith's abilities or could fall under the
       influence of dark spirits. Most death wraiths learn this as a
       means to do so, though this also helps against those with
       psychic abilities as psychic powers that affect the mind won't
       effect death wraiths with this training. Overall, this also
       helps against dark spirits who try to influence emotions, since
       dark spirits typically frequent the death wraiths. Overwhelming
       this training is very difficult, and only beings like Xeles can
       overwhelm this training. Just like the normal mind training, the
       will of the death wraith determines how strong this is, and how
       much effort it would take to overpower. Tarich does train this,
       but now he lives by letting his emotions come out rather than
       suppress them like he did when he was part of the death wraith
       order. These days, Tarich mostly trains this to train his mind
       so he can more easily keep himself in good combat condition as
       Tarich knows the importance of a calm and sound mind. Tarich
       uses this mostly to keep himself calm and sound in dangerous
       situations, and will often use this to suppress anger and other
       negative emotions that he feels are a hindrance to him (as he
       has had anger issues in the past).
       - Enhanced Death Wraith and Combat Training Physical Stats: All
       death wraiths have enhanced physical stats, thanks to their
       supernatural natures. However, death wraiths also have enhanced
       combat training which hones their physical stats to their
       fullest. All death wraiths have to be trained in combat, whether
       its as a lost soul collector or as a dark spirit hunter. For the
       most part, all death wraiths are unique in their specific
       training and capabilities, usually specializing in certain
       stats. For example, some stronger and more bulky death wraiths
       might focus more on strength and defense, while smaller and
       skinnier death wraiths may focus more on speed and agility.
       There are a number of ways training can hone death wraiths, just
       like humans and other supernaturals, so just like humans and
       other supernaturals, each death wraith is different in how they
       fight and how they use their enhanced physical stats. There are
       usually two ways most beings train their physical stats. The
       first is to focus on one or two aspects, which focuses them to
       extreme degrees. The downside to this training focus is that
       while their focused aspects are trained to great degrees, this
       causes other stats to suffer as a result. For example, someone
       who focuses on strength and defense won't be as fast or as agile
       as someone who specializes in speed. The other focus is a
       balanced skillset, where users focus on training all aspects of
       their physical stats to a fairly balanced degree. In this
       method, all stats are focused on in training, and the user opts
       to hone all aspects of their combat stats to gain enhanced stats
       in all of their physical stats. However, the downside to this
       training is that those that utilize this are balanced, but won't
       be able to enhance all their stats to the levels of those that
       specialize in specific stats. While some balanced fighters can
       keep up with those that specialize in stats through training,
       typically those that specialize in stats might overwhelm
       specific stats (though smart users can utilize weaknesses in
       specialized stats to counter this to a degree). No matter how
       the death wraith is trained, there are advantages and
       disadvantages to their stats. It is usually up to the death
       wraith how they train and what they focus on, and depending on
       age, some death wraiths can learn to better hone their stats
       more effectively through things like using objects to help them
       (such as those not as strong might use gauntlets to help give
       their attacks more impact). Tarich is a pretty balanced fighter.
       While he's not the most skilled fighter in the death wraith
       order, he is still not one to be underestimated. He is fast
       enough to move as fast as those with supernatural speed
       techniques, and can match enhanced strength through strength
       training in his combat training. He is also extremely durable
       thanks to his combat training. Of course, as a balanced fighter,
       this means that those that specialize in certain stats may
       overpower Tarich (such as Tarich may be overpowered by someone
       who specializes in physical strength).
       Transformations:
       - Human Form: Every death wraith can take a human form when in
       the living world. Death wraiths learn to change forms into
       humans so that they can live as humans while in the human world,
       even being able to survive on human food. For the most part,
       this human form looks and feels just like a normal human, except
       for the soul of the death wraith who senses as a being of pure
       darkness. Death wraith's shadow abilities still work, but are
       used in a reduced capacity. When in human form, death wraiths
       can reduce damage from light attacks (as their bodies aren't
       pure darkness when in human form that can be pierced with light
       attacks), and death wraiths can utilize human abilities more
       easily when in human form (Like some that utilize human energies
       like ki or mana). While their death wraith abilities do get a
       little weaker, it is usually the form most death wraiths stay in
       for their day to day activities outside of battle, and a form
       they usually prefer to train in since the weaker form can give
       them bigger gains when they are training. Just like the death
       wraiths, every form is unique to the death wraith, and aside
       from the times they may need their death wraith form to utilize
       stronger darkness abilities, most death wraiths spend most of
       their time in human form. Overall, when in this form, death
       wraith darkness abilities are weakened, but death wraiths can
       more easily utilize their human abilities, as well as them not
       being as vulnerable to light (at least not anymore than any
       other human would be). Death wraiths in human form are not only
       less vulnerable to light and counters to darkness abilities
       (since their bodies are like those of mortals), but they also
       are physical in nature. While they still regenerate using
       darkness and are still darkness natured, their human forms are
       as solid and tangible as other humans compared to their death
       wraith forms which are usually more intangible than normal
       beings since they are spiritual in nature. However, this also
       means that death wraiths are more vulnerable to physical attacks
       when in human form, whereas their death wraith forms are harder
       to permanent damage with physical attacks and often require
       spiritual attacks to harm them.
       - Death Wraith Form: It would be more appropriate to call this a
       death wraith's true form, which is usually only used in battle
       when death wraiths need stronger shadows or require a power
       boost to take on an opponent. Death wraith forms usually are
       described as a pure black form, with glowing rings around the
       fingers, and glowing pupils that radiates darkness and death
       energy. This form is stronger and has enhanced abilities
       compared to the death wraith's human form. Depending on their
       abilities, this form might take on unique properties, such as a
       death wraith with demonic abilities may have red glowing rings
       around their fingers instead of blue, or some might have unique
       darkness that radiates from them (such as death wraiths with
       demonic power might radiate unholy darkness instead of normal
       darkness). When in this form, any limits on the death wraith
       placed that holds back their mortal form are released, and the
       death wraith can use their full abilities. While there isn't
       much of a power difference between a death wraith form and a
       human form, the death wraith form is still stronger since the
       death wraith doesn't have any limits on their death wraith form
       (unless Toranoraos or the Death Wraith council place limits on a
       death wraith's power if they have abilities that could be
       dangerous to the death wraiths or to the living world). When in
       this form, a death wraith may have some trouble using human
       abilities (Example, magic might be hindered if the mana changes
       nature when the death wraith goes into death wraith form). Most
       death wraiths learn ways to counter this, but some powers may
       not be as strong. However, their darkness abilities are at their
       strongest when in this form, as this form is meant to rely on
       darkness as a whole. It is also worth noting that death wraiths
       in this form are immune to almost all darkness and deathly
       effects. The only darkness that can hurt a death wraith while in
       this form is Xeles's darkness, or elementals from the Dark
       Multiverse that are darkness in nature that have chaotic
       elements that death wraiths cannot adapt to. It is also worth
       noting that death wraiths are far more vulnerable to light
       attacks when in this form (or any other counters to darkness),
       and flashbangs do heavy damage to death wraiths when they are in
       death wraith form as they are pure darkness (with certain
       exceptions). Spiritual attacks also work more easily on death
       wraith forms, as death wraith forms are more spiritual in nature
       so abilities that hurt the intangible works better for attacking
       death wraiths.
       - Nightfall Shadowtamer Familiar Art: Fused Shadow Form: As
       mentioned earlier, the Nightfall family has the ability to fuse
       with their shadow familiars temporarily. Tarich is able to use
       this art in order to fuse with one of his familiars. Depending
       on the familiar chosen, each familiar can slightly change his
       form. When used, Tarich has to be in his death wraith form to
       get the most out of this, as this requires him to fuse his
       darkness nature to his familiar to fuse with it. Depending on
       the familiar chosen, he can gain new features and abilities. For
       example, Tarich will often choose to fuse with his shadow
       dragon, Drail, and gain dragon-like features such as dragon
       scales made of concentrated darkness, shadow dragon wings, and
       even dragon claws. If he fuses with a familiar like Luno, he
       will gain wolf-like features like wolf ears, wolf claws and wolf
       agility. In terms of abilities, Tarich gains the abilities
       temporarily of the familiar chosen, and can use these abilities
       just as his familiars can. For example, when fusing with Luno,
       Tarich gains Luno's connection to nature, or when he fuses with
       Alja, he gains Alja's cold wind and heat absorbing plasma
       ability to generate freezing wind. This depends on the
       situation, and each familiar has different effects. One thing to
       note is that this can only be used temporarily, as this takes
       spirit energy from the familiar and from Tarich to maintain this
       fusion. So if either run of spirit energy, then Tarich will lose
       this fusion and be forced back to his normal death wraith self.
       And while he does gain a familiar's strengths, he also gains
       their weaknesses while using them. For example, using Drail
       makes Tarich vulnerable to dragon hunter energy and weapons, or
       using Luno might make Tarich more vulnerable to anything that
       can overwhelm the nature connection. Tarich also cannot fuse
       with more than one familiar at a time without severely straining
       his power. While he can do it for a short time, this puts enough
       strain on his body and spirit that he has nearly died in the
       past. The most he fused with at once were three familiars, and
       doing so for only a few minutes almost killed Tarich.
       Weaknesses:
       - For the most part, Tarich's most unique power is his dark
       plasma. When used, his plasma, despite being dark in nature, is
       mostly countered just like normal plasma. With his ability to
       control the EM spectrum by using light absorbing plasma (a power
       that is somewhat unique to Tarich as most other plasma users
       haven't figured out EM spectrum manipulation), wind manipulation
       or energy manipulation are the two best ways to defend oneself
       against Tarich's attacks. Wind manipulation can be used to
       dispel plasma manipulation as wind manipulation can also learn
       to manipulate plasma if used properly. Since plasma uses mostly
       energy, wind manipulation can be used to take that energy out of
       the air by manipulate the air around the energy. And using
       energy, one can usually find energy defenses to work against
       Tarich's plasma as well, such as an aura user could use aura
       defense to defend against Tarich's plasma abilities (as long as
       Tarich doesn't overwhelm the energy manipulation). The other
       thing Tarich has is his mastered purifying darkness. For the
       most part, this works just like purifying darkness except that
       Tarich can use it for more uses than most. His ability to remove
       corruption is only able to be used if a user wants to remove
       that corruption, and if they hold on to it, they can actually
       overpower this purification and make it unable to purify them.
       The darkness also has to overpower the corruption that Tarich is
       trying to remove, and if he cannot overpower it, then the
       corruption won't be able to be purified. Those resistance or
       immune to purification are also able to resist this, such as
       those who are resistant or immune to normal purifying darkness
       (such as some dark spirits who have gained resistance to
       purification). Other than that, this works like any other death
       wraith's purifying darkness.
       - Tarich's shadowtamer familiars are all still weak to blessed
       sea salt and iron just like normal death wraiths, and both
       options can be used to dispel a familiar's manifested form. By
       using these, the familiars react similarly to death wraiths,
       such as breathing in gas made from blessed sea salt can cause a
       familiar extreme pain breathing. Iron is a great thing to use on
       them as they are manifested spirits and iron can easily be used
       to dispel them temporarily until Tarich can resummon them. The
       familiars are mostly all also vulnerable to intense light, where
       intense light can be used to more easily destroy their
       manifested bodies (as long as they don't use Tarich's EM
       absorbing  dark plasma to absorb the light, but this usually
       requires Tarich to control the EM absorbing dark plasma since
       they don't understand how it works with the exception of maybe
       Gronn). Another thing that works well on them are powers that
       use spirit destruction, in which spirits like Tarich's familiars
       are specifically the types of creatures that spirit destruction
       was designed to work on. Tarich cannot protect them from spirit
       destruction, and the only place they are safe from it is in
       Tarich's shadow (as long as the attack cannot penetrate the
       dimensional space of Tarich's shadow dimension where his
       familiars stay). If the familiar is destroyed (as in the spirit
       of the familiar is destroyed), then Tarich cannot bring it back,
       and will have to create a new familiar in its place as he cannot
       save his familiars if they are destroyed. Tarich's familiars
       also have their own individual weaknesses, such as supernatural
       weaknesses (like Rael is weak to anything that counters
       lightning like water, or Alja is more vulnerable to fire and
       lightning abilities). These familiars are also not that
       intelligent, where they don't usually come up with strategy on
       their own as their intelligence is not beyond that of normal
       animals with exception of Gronn (thanks to his psychic
       abilities).
       - Death wraiths pride themselves on using cold logic rather than
       relying on emotions. There are a number of fairly good reasons
       for this. The first is that they see emotions as corruptive, as
       emotions can interrupt their focus and cause them to act
       irrationally (or at least, death wraiths see it as irrational
       behavior even when it might not always be). The second is that
       many dark spirits affect emotions, and in order to compete with
       dark spirits, death wraiths have to be in perfect control so
       that they don't fall under the influence of dark spirits. If a
       death wraith doesn't control their emotions, it becomes easier
       for certain corruptions to affect them, such as some death
       wraiths that have gained hollow power from not controlling their
       emotions completely. This is a major training among death
       wraiths, and those that cannot control their emotions may become
       unbalanced, and may be susceptible to certain abilities as a
       result. Due to the jobs the death wraiths do, they must make
       difficult choices, which they do through cold logic rather than
       letting emotions control their decisions. Death wraiths that
       rely too much on emotions could find themselves exiled if they
       refuse to gain control of their emotions, as death wraiths
       cannot do their jobs with emotions. While there are many who do
       embrace the concept of emotions and the power it could bring the
       death wraiths, those people are often seen as corruptive
       influences on the death wraiths. Overall, opponents can take
       advantage of this, if they can get a death wraith to not control
       their emotions. This can grant an opponent an edge if the death
       wraith loses control of their emotions, and can have severe
       consequences if a death wraith succumbs to the influence of
       hollowfication or dark spirits as a result. Unlike most death
       wraiths, Tarich isn't afraid of his emotions, and other than
       suppressing anger and other negative emotions, he lets himself
       feel emotions since he no longer has to control his emotions
       since he's not part of the death wraith order anymore.
       - Most lost souls and dark spirits have abilities that are
       specifically designed to counter death wraiths. Lost souls know
       that death wraiths will hunt them down, so in order to avoid
       capture, they will often have to come up with ways to counter
       death wraith's abilities. Lost souls can learn certain abilities
       that can counter death wraiths, utilizing their spiritual
       natures, though most lost souls will focus on countering their
       deathly and darkness based natures. Dark spirits, on the other
       hand, are the anti-thesis of death wraiths, so dark spirits have
       specific abilities that are designed to take on death wraiths,
       like their whispering darkness, and many who summon elementals
       from the dark multiverse to counter death wraith elementals.
       Dark spirits and lost souls, while death wraiths have many ways
       to counter them, also have many ways to counter death wraiths.
       The major danger with lost souls and dark spirits though is that
       they may also be able to possess humans, which can catch death
       wraiths off guard if the death wraiths don't sense the dark
       spirit or lost souls (presence suppression is something many
       dark spirits specifically use to avoid death wraiths, though
       lost souls can also learn presence suppression when possessing
       humans as well with enough practice of their ghostly abilities).
       Overall, dark spirits and lost souls, once they reach a certain
       level, become too much for normal death wraiths to handle, and
       often require more elite teams to handle. These beings are the
       two main beings that most death wraiths have to deal with.
       - When in human form, most death wraiths are vulnerable to
       things humans would be vulnerable to since their bodies are
       almost perfect replicas of humans. This means that human form
       death wraiths can be affected by toxins and gases that would
       work on humans, such as gases toxic to humans or gases that
       could cause reactions to humans (like some that irritate the
       skin upon contact). For the most part, death wraiths can
       regenerate most damage in their human bodies as long as they can
       absorb darkness to regenerate (which still works in human form),
       but they can still take damage like normal physical beings. For
       example, stabbing the heart or brain could fatally injure the
       death wraith, and they can die just like any other fatally
       injured being if their regeneration is interrupted or doesn't
       work. While death wraith forms are not quite so easy to kill due
       to the fact they are more spiritual, their physical bodies can
       be killed more easily. If they die in their physical bodies,
       they will die, which makes their physical forms a bit easier to
       kill than their death wraith forms. This means that death wraith
       form is better against opponents fighting using means that do
       physical damage, while their human form is more vulnerable to
       physical damage. However, this also works in reverse, where
       spiritual damage doesn't do as much to a death wraith in human
       form, but does more damage when in death wraith form. Overall,
       destroying their physical bodies is a good way to kill a death
       wraith, though most death wraiths would go into death wraith
       form before they let themselves be killed as their death wraith
       forms are spiritual and don't respond as much to physical
       damage. However, if affected by certain things like iron or
       blessed sea salt, death wraiths could be forced to remain in
       human form, which is also a problem for them. For the most part,
       relying on their regeneration is vital for their survival in
       human form, since they can die just like any other being.
       - Blessed sea salt is one of the death wraiths' two biggest
       weaknesses. All death wraiths are highly allergic blessed sea
       salt, which can cause a wide variety of problems like
       anaphylaxis/anaphylactic shock, breathing problems, or even lead
       to death. This substances also interrupts their regeneration
       completely, making them unable to regenerate unless they go into
       the shadows. The only real way to overcome the effects of
       blessed sea salt is for a death wraith to retreat into the
       shadows, and let the regenerative properties shadows have on
       them overcome it, which can be a painful process, or bleed the
       sea salt out of their system if it is in their blood. Weapons
       using blessed sea salt can do extra damage as well, and weapons
       coated in this can possibly cause blood infections if the
       blessed sea salt manages to get into their blood stream. Smoke
       grenades using blessed sea salt are also very effective if the
       opponent can get a death wraith to breathe in the smoke as used
       by some death wraith enemies in the past, as well as mixing it
       into water can make a special salt water mix that works on death
       wraiths like holy water works on demons and unholy creatures.
       This is one of the biggest weaknesses among death wraiths, and
       if this gets into their systems, it can cause immense problems
       for the death wraith. While death wraiths can get this out of
       their system, it is a very painful process that comes with some
       health problems. This is one of the most common ways to kill a
       death wraith, and one of the most known ways. Users of this can
       also create burning oil and mix blessed sea salt into it for a
       Molotov cocktail that can light death wraiths on fire and do
       severe damage to them. Usually, enemies of death wraiths will
       find ways to get a hold of this and utilize it in some way, and
       there are plenty of ways to utilize blessed sea salt compared to
       some of their other weaknesses. Blessed sea salt is a very
       versatile substances that can be used a variety of ways, making
       it more dangerous to death wraiths if users find new and subtle
       ways to utilize it.
       - Iron and ghost-fighting weapons are the second of the death
       wraith's biggest weaknesses, due to being spiritual beings that
       have some similar weaknesses to ghosts. Iron is harder to put
       into a gas or liquid, but weapons using iron do extra damage to
       death wraiths, which can help many who want to fight death
       wraiths since iron can easily be forged into a weapon, and many
       can find iron pretty easily. While not as deadly as blessed sea
       salt, iron is a natural counter to ghost abilities, and does
       damage to death wraiths as a result. Iron can burn their bodies,
       enough that it can make a death wraith easier to damage. when in
       human form, they gain some resistance to iron since their human
       bodies have some iron in them, but overall, when in death wraith
       form, iron does far more damage to them as intangible spirits.
       Any weapon designed to fight ghosts or ghost-like creatures also
       does extra damage to them. This includes other soul weapons used
       by other races, like the zanpakuto's of soul reapers and the
       death scythes of the grim reapers. Iron can be used to poison
       death wraiths as well if the iron gets into their blood, which
       is harder for a death wraith to get out of their bodies.
       However, if they do get iron in their bodies (usually in
       unusually high levels of their blood), then going into human
       form and remaining in human form until they can get the iron out
       of their bodies can help them recover from iron effects since
       their human forms are physical forms that don't take nearly as
       much damage as full death wraith forms would normally. For the
       most part, iron burns death wraith bodies on contact, and when
       they are in death wraith form or darkness form, they can be
       temporarily dispelled and unable to maintain a form (sometimes
       being forced back into physical form). Iron weapons work best on
       death wraiths who take their full death wraith forms, but can do
       damage to death wraiths in human form in higher quantities or
       higher quality (such as more potent iron can do more damage to a
       human form death wraith. Iron is something that hurts most
       spirits, and is pretty reliable against death wraiths.
       - Light and life energies are also a good counter to a death
       wraith, since they are creatures of darkness and death as light
       and life energies are natural counters to death and darkness
       abilities. Life energy is a natural counter to the death aspects
       of their power, while light works to counter their darkness
       (though experienced enough users can counter either of a death
       wraith's abilities with light or life energy if they are skilled
       enough). Items like flashbangs or concentrated light can
       overpower many forms of darkness or shadows especially those
       used by death wraiths. Death wraiths take heavy damage if they
       are hit by concentrated light attacks (especially if they are in
       their death wraith form), and their shadows can be dispelled and
       negated temporarily thanks to light abilities like flashbangs.
       Life energies can do more damage to them as well, due to their
       death aspects, which makes life energy a good way to
       specifically counter their deathly aspects. Weapons using life
       and/or light do more damage, and can more easily cut or pierce a
       death wraith's body. Typically, spirits are the ones that
       utilize light and life energy, which can act as a counter to
       death wraiths if they choose to oppose death wraiths (though
       this is typically rare). Some beings who can use light or life
       energies can use these pretty effectively, since death wraiths
       rely heavily on their darkness and deathly natures. It is worth
       noting that as mentioned, death wraiths in death wraith form
       take far more damage from light attacks than they normally
       would, since their very bodies are made of darkness. However,
       when in human form, they are about as vulnerable to light powers
       as any other beings (for example, normal light doesn't hurt
       them, but light focused into beams could pierce them just as
       easily as any other being).
       - All death wraith elementals are counter-able by other
       elementals. One needs to understand death wraith elementals
       first though, as their elementals do work differently than other
       races elemental manipulations. Unlike other races, death wraiths
       focus more on manipulating the four states of matter, and this
       must be understood before one can learn to counter a death
       wraith. However, once understood, death wraith elementals can be
       countered just like other elementals. For example, solid
       manipulation is mostly earth manipulation, as solid states of
       matter mostly fall into earth manipulation are countered as such
       (usually by wind manipulation and sometimes fire manipulation).
       Every form of matter can counter another in some form if the
       user is creative enough, and all of the states of matter can be
       countered by other elementals. Usually, the two major groups are
       solids and gases (which act as major opposites to each other),
       and liquids and plasma (which act as major opposites to each
       other). However, countering isn't as difficult as requiring
       specific elements, as each element can counter another in some
       way. For example, earth can absorb energy from plasma
       manipulation, or liquid manipulation could be separated by
       wind/air manipulation into gases. Countering these elemental
       powers only requires one to understand how elemental powers
       interact, and figure out ways to counter them. Almost every
       element can counter another in some way, and death wraith
       elementals are no different. As mentioned earlier, another major
       counter to the death wraith elemental power is the dark spirits
       who utilize matter from the dark multiverse, who utilize a
       chaotic power of elements that counter the elementals of this
       universe. Because many of the dark spirits elementals have
       violent reactions to the elements of the living world (such as
       shadow lightning from the dark multiverse having a chaotic
       effect that spirals normal lightning out of control and
       interrupts the normal uses of lightning as the lightning becomes
       chaotic and its destructive properties are amplified to the
       degree that the user can no longer control it). However, it is
       worth noting that death wraiths do counter this with their own
       elemental manipulation.
       Personality: Tarich is often seen as calm and collected, even to
       the point most would describe him as cold. Due to his death
       wraith nature, he often doesn't show his emotions due to habit,
       and the only real emotion he shows is when he's happy. For the
       most part, Tarich doesn't try to hide his emotions, but mostly
       does it out of habit since that was how he was raised. Tarich is
       also a very sarcastic person, and will speak his mind without
       any reservation or regrets. Tarich is the type of person that
       will be bluntly honest with people, even if it hurts them.
       However, Tarich is somewhat decent at talking nicely to people,
       and not hurting their feelings when he has to be blunt. Tarich
       is actually far more understanding than many give him credit
       for. Most don't know this, but Tarich's calm nature is actually
       due to the fact that he had to work extra hard to suppress his
       emotions when he was young, due to the immense anger he had when
       his family was killed by hollows. Tarich has overcome his anger
       issues, but only after years of training his mind to suppress
       his emotions. Tarich often sees anger as a crutch for people who
       cannot overcome their pain, and he will not hesitate to
       criticize his enemies who rely on anger as a power source or a
       source of their goals (such as criticizing those that go for
       revenge). Tarich can be quite humorous, but most of his humor is
       in his sarcasm. Tarich is also the type of person who only
       respects those he thinks deserve respect. He isn't above giving
       respect first to others, but he will only give his respect to
       those he believe can be respected. For example, another ghost
       hunter he met he was not sarcastic to out of respect, even
       though another ghost hunter criticized him for showing respect
       to the other hunter and not to them. In battle, Tarich is a
       strategic opponent, often going for strategy over pure combat.
       He does prefer to use his familiars to do his fighting for him
       most of the time, but he is not afraid to fight without them.
       Tarich will fight to overpower enemies, but more often than not,
       he relies on strategy over brute force. And after spending time
       in the living world, Tarich has become very experienced at
       seeing how people fight and countering many different fighting
       styles.
       Bio: Tarich Nightfall is the youngest member of the Nightfall
       family, one of the families that was friends with Anna Shadow's
       family and Kierran Black's family. When Tarich was young, he was
       left behind when all of his family members went out to fight a
       group of hollowfied lost souls. The battle was far more
       difficult than it was supposed to be, and the Nightfall family
       ended up overpowered. The hollow group managed to get backup to
       the battle, and had murdered all of the Nightfalls before the
       death wraiths got reinforcements to the Nightfall family. This
       led to the Nightfall family getting wiped out, with Tarich being
       the only known survivor of his family. After the incident, Revon
       Black chose to adopt Tarich into the family, and chose to raise
       Tarich as a second son. Tarich soon became like a brother to
       Kierran, who Tarich saw as a kindred spirit, since Kierran
       didn't know his original family (as his family abandoned him
       when he was born). Tarich would train with Kierran from an early
       age, and even befriended Anna Shadow when Kierran and Anna would
       train together. When Kierran started his own lost soul hunter
       team, Tarich joined the team alongside Kierran and Anna. While
       not the strongest or best fighter of the team, Tarich's
       shadowtamer skills of his family helped him add an extra
       advantage to Kierran and his team. Tarich would also train under
       Teru Mikami when Mikami trained Anna and Kierran, and Tarich
       would train for years with Anna and Kierran while hunting lost
       souls.
       Over the years, Tarich would help Kierran with a number of
       battles, including helping Kierran take down Drakath during
       Drakath's rebellion. However, the day would come when Kierran
       and Anna were nearly killed fighting vasto lorde teams. Tarich
       hadn't been present at the actual battle, as he had taken out a
       group of hollows that were in the area in order to make sure
       they wouldn't interfere with Kierran and Anna's fight against
       the vasto lorde. However, by the time Tarich figured out that
       Kierran and Anna had nearly been killed, it was too late for
       Tarich to get to them to prevent what would happen next. While
       Tarich was part of the team that recovered Anna and Kierran
       after they were nearly killed, Tarich was unable to do anything
       while the death wraiths, aided by the soul reaper Mayuri
       Kurotsuchi, studied Kierran and Anna. After the incident when
       Anna escaped and Kierran and Toshiro would capture Anna, Tarich
       was kept from helping by the other death wraiths, who let
       Kierran and Toshiro work alone to try and capture Anna, much to
       Tarich's annoyance.
       However, after Anna's exile, something in Tarich changed, and he
       chose to turn away from the death wraith order, realizing that
       the death wraith council blamed Kierran and Anna for not taking
       care of problems like the Drakath rebellion or the hollow
       attacks fast enough, so the death wraith council had treated
       Kierran's group like they had done wrong. When Tarich found out
       about it, he chose to leave, even though Kierran tried to stop
       him. Tarich went to the living world, refusing to be a pawn of
       the death wraith council, and chose to live among the humans in
       a self imposed exile. Even though the death wraith sent others
       to bring Tarich back, Tarich refused to go back and defeated the
       death wraiths that were sent after him. Tarich ended up
       traveling the living world, and spent years searching the world
       for Anna to no avail. Tarich wouldn't find Anna until after Anna
       had met Delsin, and after decided it best to leave Anna alone
       and chose to go his own way knowing Anna was safe with Delsin.
       However, his life wouldn't be completely danger-free, as a death
       wraith council member tried to have Tarich captured so that they
       could figure out the secret of Tarich's mastered purifying
       darkness, which was something that no other death wraith had
       figured out. The death wraith council member sent death wraiths
       to hunt down and capture Tarich, though Tarich always managed to
       either beat them or get away from them. Tarich also keeps his
       knowledge of his family's shadowtamer arts, keeping it from the
       other death wraiths, as Tarich decided that he would not build
       another Nightfall clan among the death wraiths (due to him not
       agreeing with their ethics). So he holds on to the knowledge,
       hoping to one day find someone to pass the knowledge on to.
       After Aeron Kazara took Kierran's body and started a secret
       rebellion, the death wraith council member that had Tarich
       hunted down was killed, so Tarich no longer has to worry about
       the death wraiths hunting him down any longer. These days,
       Tarich owns a small bike shop he has bought out, and works on
       bikes when he's not out ghost hunting. Though he has heard about
       "Kierran" (Aeron Kazara) taking over the death wraiths, he
       doesn't yet know the truth that the Kierran that was in charge
       of the death wraiths was actually Aeron Kazara, so he currently
       believes that his brother was corrupted and took power after the
       council's death (believing his brother became corrupt). However,
       Tarich has dedicated himself to not going back to the death
       wraiths.
       Tarich then went and found himself a place to live, choosing to
       live among humans. Eventually, Tarich became a ghost hunter,
       traveling to places that were "haunted" and taking down vengeful
       spirits and hollows as a sort of ghost hunter mercenary. Tarich
       started making money as a ghost hunter, and would take on any
       threat, even purifying hollows back into normal souls. Tarich
       would even get hired by the elder Death to help track down some
       lost souls and help Death more easily capture stronger lost
       souls that escape the death wraiths and the soul reapers. This
       led to Tarich sort of becoming like one of Death's assistance in
       tracking down souls since Tarich (after much time in the living
       world), has plenty of experience with people and tracking people
       down in the living world. In his spare time outside of ghost
       hunting and his combat training, Tarich took up an interest in
       bikes, and started building and taking apart bikes. Eventually,
       Tarich had built a number of bikes, some of which he made money
       selling, and some he kept around. His main bike he would keep
       and ride it around whenever he would go out on a job. In his
       spare time, Tarich has even taken up playing the guitar and
       started writing music for fun. Tarich mostly enjoys rock music,
       and has sometimes even played music with others for fun. For the
       most part, Tarich lives a simple live outside of his ghost
       hunting job.
