Olympus Story: The Fall of the Storm God

"You are not an emperor, or a god. You are a child who has
squandered the power you possess. I think this fate suits you
best... Imprisoned by those you'd once called allies, where you
will rot away for the rest of your life. Enjoy what little life
you can before I snuff it out. But only after I have killed all
of my other enemies, and those you might consider friends who
will resist me."
That was the last thing Raiden Kindron remembered before falling
down to earth, after having been defeated in combat.
It was another day for Raiden Kindron since he had literally
fallen from the sky a few weeks ago, where Russian Special
Forces found Raiden Kindron half dead in a crater.
After Kindron woke up, and had recovered, he had been put in a
prison cell, since the first thing Russian Special Forces did
was imprison him once they had treated his injuries. Thanks to
STAR Labs in the United States, Russian Special Forces had been
equipped with new prison cells designed to hold supernatural
creatures.
Kindron sits in his cell, sitting on his bed. He wasn't wearing
his normal outfit, but instead was dressed in basic black
clothes after his original outfit had mostly been shredded.
Father Hei walks in, looking at Kindron. Father Hei was back in
his real body, no longer moving around as an elder spirit.
Raiden Kindron looks to Father Hei as he enters into his view.
Father Hei: It wasn't supposed to happen like this... He says to
Kindron as he enters, referencing the fact that Kindron being in
prison was not something that anyone foresaw in the futures.
Raiden Kindron: Brother... I see you're back among the living.
Watch any good TV lately? He says to Father Hei.
Father Hei: Did you have something to do with him? Did you
create that monster?! He says, looking to Kindron in anger.
Kindron, frustrated, gets up and limps over to the bars between
him and Father Hei. Without his weapons or his cane, he was
stuck limping around without anything. He grabs the bar for
support as he glares at Father Hei for a moment.
Kindron: If I was behind this... You think I'd have gotten
myself stuck here?! He says angrily, punching the bars with his
free hand.
Father Hei: Then who is he? He has your power!
Kindron: You think I know where this guy came from?! If I did,
I'd have killed the bastard myself before he concieved the idea!
He says angrily. He grips the cell bars tightly. He stole my
kingdom! My power! He stole everything from me! AND I WILL HUNT
HIM DOWN FOR THE NEXT HUNDRED YEARS IF I HAVE TO! He yells the
last part angrily. It was obvious that Kindron was extremely
angry.
One Week Ago.
It was a standard day for the world. Until that moment.
It was during a football game in the US. A televised
entertainment event. During the event, a figure flew through the
stadium roof and appeared on the field. No one knew who the man
was, only that he was wearing tech armor that seemed to hold
immense power.
The figure was holding a staff with a sword at the end, which
seemed to generate ascended energy. But not just any ascended
energy, as it was filled with Raiden Kindron's ascended energy
and Raiden Kindron's lightning power.
As the Figure took a moment to study the crowd, Black Sun hunter
bots crowd from the exits of the stadium, cutting of the escape
of anyone who tries. In addition, battle droids and destroyer
droids of Hyperion also walk in. The hunter bots and droids seem
to work together as they cut off any hope of escape for the
people in the stadium, forcing them to look to the figure in the
center.
Figure: You believe you are safe in your country... You believe
your country is a super-power that can protect you... Obviously,
you are mistaken. He says, focusing on the camera crew which was
filming the event. Today... You will realize just how powerless
you truly are. And your governments will reconsider opposing us.
He says with an grim and evil voice. Due to the distortion of
the tech armor he was wearing, it was impossible to tell who the
voice belonged to, as well as the distortion was meant to make
the voice sound intimidating.
Figure: You may want to know what I'm doing here... He snaps his
fingers, summoning Malice who appears next to the figure. Behind
Malice, Balor, Alternate Vin and Dr. Doom appear, both in full
armor and ready as Malice stands next to the figure. Behind the
figure, Omega, Dark Raiden (Raiden Kindron's dark half), and
Akujin appear, both appearing to be allied with the figure.
Figure: As of now, The Black Sun/Hyperion Alliance declares war
on your world. If you are not our allies, then you will be mowed
down and destroyed. He says to the camera. Soon, the Black
Sun/Hyperion alliance will crush all opposition. We will start
with Anubis and Zeus. Then we will crush everyone who has
resisted our rule. The US, Russia, Wakanda, and even Ragnorok.
The beginning of the end has come for resistance to our rule. No
one can save you from our might. He says.
Figure: This punishment, I will bring down upon ALL of my
enemies. He says darkly.
He holds up his weapon, which strikes lightning into the air. As
it does, a storm appears overhead, raining bolts of lightning
down into the stadium, killing the people in the stands as the
lightning seems to target everyone in the stadium. While the
camera crews and those filming were left alive, everyone from
men, women and even children, were all struck down by lightning.
Anyone who tried to escape was gunned down by droids or torn
apart by the Black Sun Hunter robots. After a few minutes, there
only those that had been filming the massive attack were left
alive.
Those that were left were left horrified and stunned, frozen in
fear. As the figure looked to the camera crews on the side of
the football field, he holds his weapon to them in a threatening
manner.
Figure: You will tell your world what you have seen today. Spare
no details and know that the only reason that you live is
because I have allowed it so you can tell the story.
The figure thinks for a moment.
Figure: Right... You will need a name for me won't you... I give
you permission to call me what I will become to this world... I
am its Overlord!
The figure, calling itself Overlord, looks at the men as he
lowers his weapon.
Overlord: Your governments have one month. That is the most time
it will take us to wipe out Anubis's and Zeus's forces. Once
they are gone, there is no refuge from our wrath. Black Sun and
Hyperion will rule this world, and any resistance will be dealt
with! The Storm God was nice enough to leave your people alone
because he was too much of a coward to sever his ties to his
past. But the Storm God is not in command any longer! He says
before holding up his weapon and almost appearing to use it to
fly away as he flies out of the stadium.
Malice: Yeah... What he said. He says jokingly to the camera
crew before vanishing into shadows. The group that was with
Overlord and Malice also teleport away, all of them disappearing
with their respective abilities.
Back to the Present.
Father Hei: For once you and I have hatred for the same
person... I think Father is the only other person we've both
equally hated. He says sarcastically. As he talks Vobu appears
next to Father Hei, who looks over to him.
Raiden Kindron: The rabbit... Vobu right? I had the pleasure of
killing you in a few timelines from what I hear. He says with a
smile.
Vobu glares at Kindron with intense hatred before regaining his
composure. Vobu: Words cannot describe how I want to murder you
right now, crybaby... But we have bigger problems. Where are V
and Vin?!
Raiden Kindron thinks for a moment before limping back to his
bed and sitting down. Raiden Kindron: I don't know... I think
they're still in the Gateway place. It's strange... They should
have been back by now.
Vobu: Well... Everything is messed up. He says with a sigh. He
turns to Father Hei. Can you see the future yet?
Father Hei: No... It's like...It doesn't exist. He says to Vobu.
Vobu sighs. Vobu: I talked to the snake... Ebon can't see the
future either. It's not the darkness girl this time though. All
of his cards of the future have turned to white voids. It's like
you said... It's almost like the future doesn't exist. He
explains.
Father Hei: Where are these Gateway people?! I thought this was
the kind of thing they were trying to prevent.
Vobu: Yeah... About that. Their Kindron appeared to me not too
long ago. Told me that something had happened to the flow of
time here. Their people are trying to fix it, but this Overlord
guy... Not even the Gateway people know who he is. Time has been
altered, of that they're certain. But by who, even they don't
know. They suspect it was by one of their enemies who follow a
guy named Byeketh... But even Byeketh doesn't have the ability
to blink an entire future out of existence like that.
Father Hei: It's not out of existence... It's just hidden. It's
to prevent us from seeing the future and to prevent us from
being able to change the future. Someone is doing this to
attempt to change our timeline and make the changes as permanent
as possible.
Vobu nods, but changes the subject as he looks to Kindron. Vobu:
Any ideas who this Overlord is? Any theories? Because we need to
start figuring out who this guy is. He only just appeared and
he's got every free nation in complete panick. The presidents
are meeting to try and come up with a plan, but without knowing
how this guy is, it's hard to figure out what to do next.
Raiden Kindron: No... That broadcast showed my theories were
wrong. He says with a sigh.
Father Hei: What were your theories?
Raiden Kindron: My first thought was Akujin... But he was with
Overlord during his appearance.
Father Hei and Vobu: Akujin? They both say at the same time,
confused as the name was unfamiliar to them.
Raiden Kindron looks at them before looking away. Raiden
Kindron: He's my son.
Vobu: What? He says with a squeaky surprised voice.
Father Hei: Since when do you have a son?! He says, surprised.
Raiden Kindron: He's Lauren's and my son... I found out that
apparently the child survived even though Lauren didn't. He
says, remembering the fight where Lauren and his unborn child
were supposed to have died.
Father Hei, overcome with surprise, sits down. Father Hei: So...
You and Lauren's unborn child...
Raiden Kindron: Turns out he survived by feeding on Lauren's
remains and he was raised by her clan. But due to how they
treated him, Akujin was warped by their hatred of him. I tried
to fix his way of thinking, but it's only gotten worse. If that
wasn't enough... Now he's got a new influence since he seems to
like this Overlord guy. He says with a sigh.
Father Hei: I don't... know what to say... He says with a sigh.
Raiden Kindron: Well I do... He's a brat with an ego. He wanted
to beat me so he could take my place at the head of Black Sun,
and he's been planning on how to best to backstab me since I
started training him.
Vobu: Damn... Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He says
sarcastically, which gets him a glare from Kindron.
Raiden Kindron: Except he wants to destroy everyone who is a
threat to him. Just like a certain Overlord. I think that's why
he joined Overlord. He says as he looks down.
Father Hei: So... Now we also have to deal with a mini-you...
Great. He says with a sigh. He then looks to Kindron. Who was
your other suspect that was Overlord?
Raiden Kindron: I thought maybe Dark Raiden. I thought maybe
he'd found a way to manifest himself and possess that tech armor
or something. I thought that's who it was at first because
whoever it was knew the precise time to hit me. He explains.
Father Hei: What do you mean?
Raiden Kindron: I was weak because I was working on my weapon to
take on those Gateway people... I was going to strengthen my
ascended power to new levels. But at my weakest and right before
I was going to use it, that's when this Overlord guy attacked
me. He stole the weapon, and then used some weird tech to sap my
power. This was a planned attack, and he knew exactly when to
attack me. Only Dark Raiden could have known when I'd be weak
from the weapon, but I know now it wasn't him either, which
means its someone with knowledge of the timeline they shouldn't
have because time travel is the only way anyone could have known
when I'd make the decision to do that, because not even Omega
and Fu knew when I was going to make that weapon. The rest is a
bit fuzzy... I remember parts of the fight with him, but the few
parts I remember involve him beating me to a bloody pulp. He
explains.
Father Hei: Has your power returned? He says, realizing that his
power being drained explained Cossack's reports about how
Kindron's cells were desaturated of energy.
Raiden Kindron: No... Even if this tech cell wasn't containing
me... I don't have enough energy to even break out of here or
even teleport. I lost my ascended power, my elemental power, my
darkness power. I lost all of my power, and without my ascension
abilities, I'm back to normal mortal status. And I can't hear
Dark Raiden's voice anymore. It's like my connection to him was
stolen. I can sense him, but I can't talk to him. It's like he's
shut me out and chosen to connect with this Overlord guy.
Father Hei: The last time I saw you, you were using Dark
Raiden's power, and it felt like Dark Raiden was working with
you... Why did he separate from you if you two were working
together?
Raiden Kindron: He didn't... He says to Father Hei. Somehow he
drained Dark Raiden out of me when he drained my power!
Vobu: This is bad... Really bad... I don't know what to do. If
Zeus and Anubis don't stand a chance, my people are screwed too!
Not only does this Overlord guy have Kindron's power, but now he
has Kindron's son and his dark side helping him! He says as he
waddles over and sits against the wall.
Father Hei: Let's not forget the alliance between our two
biggest enemies. He says with a sigh.
Vobu: Yeah... That too. So what do we do?
Father Hei: We need V and Vin back. Hopefully once they're back,
we can make a plan. That other Kindron said that the timeline
was supposed to happen where V would get Olympus back when she
got back. And she's supposed to be returning with people who can
help us fight our enemies. Thing is, I don't think they knew
Overlord was going to appear, or that Overlord and Malice would
team up. But if she's going to kill my father, it's going to put
her on the map as another resistance. The only good thing is
that we have the Wild Rose rebellion on our side too. I suspect
we might be able to get them to help us. Plus Ragnorok and
Wakanda. I can only hope that we can be ready when the time
comes.
Vobu: I guess I'll go back to my people and explain the
situation... He says with a sigh. I'll also try and explain all
this to Ebon and Danae. We might need Danae's side of the
pantheon as an emergency safe haven for V and the others if this
new alliance of Black Sun and Hyperion overwhelm them.
Father Hei: Alright... He says with a sigh. I'll go see what the
others have on the situation. He says to Vobu, who disappears
after nodding to Father Hei.
Father Hei: Looks to Kindron. You're lucky, you know... It's
only because everyone cares about V that Boris didn't send you
off to worst Russian prison he could think of. In your
condition, you'd have suffered a lot there. But for now, you're
going to be here for as long as we need you to be.
Raiden Kindron looks to Father Hei with a glare. Raiden Kindron:
Is that supposed to scare me, brother? Send me to a prison. I'd
love the opportunity to take my anger out on any poor a*shole
who tries me. But I won't be here for long... You're going to
need me to stop Overlord. And if you leave me in here, you'll
just be wasting your most valuable ally. He says to Father Hei.
Father Hei sighs. Father Hei: They're never going to let you out
of here. He says as he glares to Kindron. After all the war
crimes you've commited? You're never leaving this cell unless
it's to be put into the deepest, darkest prison we can find for
you... So enjoy your prison time, brother... I suspect you're
going to be here for a long time. He says before walking out.
Father Hei walks out and through the base into the main room
where many of the Russian Special Forces were meeting. The
current leader, Boris, was sitting with Dr. Cossack, Kalinka,
Doktor, Rentaro Satomi, and Agent Kuroka Smith, talking about
the broadcast as they had been studying it for clues on the
possible identity of Overlord.
Father Hei: Do we have anything? He says to the group.
Boris: Afraid not... No clues, nothing. Doktor can't unscramble
the voice enough to try and get an accurate voice sample, and
there is no DNA for us to work off of. The only way we figure
out who is Overlord is by getting someone close to him to talk.
Rentaro gets up, with a sarcastic look on his face. Rentaro:
Welp... I'm off.
Boris: Where are you going? He asks Rentaro curiously.
Rentaro: I'm gonna go spend the rest of my money on video games
and play games until the world ends. He says before walking out.
Boris, confused, just looks to the group. Boris: Is he kidding?
Cossack: We can never tell... He says sarcastically with a
shrug.
It was a dark time for the Olympus universe with Overlord's
arrival. No one knows what he wants, or what he plans to do
after conquering the world.
However, despite the theories, there is one question on
everyone's minds: Who is Overlord?
