Arthur goes back to what he was doing, but watches V and the
Vins as they leave cautiously.
It wouldn't take too long to get to the bottom of the mountain,
and pretty soon they'd see the Darkfire Tavern on the main road
just as Arthur had described.

V starts walking toward the tavern. Although her main focus is
to find her alternate self, a huge part of her wants to go drink
in there. And who can blame her.
V: Stay close to me.
That was the warning V gave to the Vins before walking into the
tavern. If Arthur was quick to be on guard around them, gods
know how the other V will react to them. She just wish that she
didn't have to do it on her other self's day off.

Vin and Dark Vin nod silently to V, and decide to stay behind
her. Neither of them wanted to start anything, so they tried to
be as non-threatening as possible.
Once inside, they'd see Merlin Jones behind the counter, groups
all over, including a few of Merlins friends not far off, which
would be obvious by the fact Millia was drinking with them.
However, Vendetta Zuille was on her own, and was drinking at the
bar, not sitting with Millia's group. Vendetta Zuille turns to V
and the Vins as they walk in. Even Millia and her friends go
silent when they see V and the Vins, instantly on guard. Most of
the people that could sense presences look at Vin specifically
in fear as they start looking for another way out since V and
the Vins were by the door in. While a few didn't recognize Vin
since she did look younger than Vinette Black or couldn't sense
her presence, it didn't take a genius for the ones that didn't
recognize Vin to notice that everyone else was looking at Vin
like something big was about to go down. It doesn't take long
before the entire bar is completely silent, with only the music
in the background of the bar.
Vendetta Zuille looks at V, Vin and Dark Vin, studying them for
a moment. Vendetta Zuille: More copies? I've had my fill of evil
clones for one lifetime. If the people who created you think I
don't have the heart to fight a couple of kids, they're wrong.
She says, instantly seeming to think V and the Vins were more
clones that were designed to fight her.

Jeez, Voltan would've loved it here. A part of her really wished
that she brought Voltan and Haru with her. But on the other
hand, Voltan would've tried something brash so probably a good
thing that she's with the Vins. The other V and her friends
probably can sense that the younger V is mostly similar but has
a few differences such as her having witcher powers.
V: If that's the case, then you're going to feel like an ass in
a few minutes. You and the others here can calm down. We're not
here to fight. We're here to talk, specifically to you,
Vendetta. Turns to the older version of herself Just give us a
few minutes to explain ourselves.

Vendetta Zuille: Fine... Start talking then, kid. It's my day
off, and I get the feeling this isn't going to make my day a
good day. She says to V before gulping down her drink. Though
she sensed the differences between them, it didn't stop her
thinking V was also a clone since Vinette Black had dark arts,
so she was used to the clones she fought having unique
abilities.
Vin sighs. Vin: Hmm... Maybe me and my other half should have
stayed in fairy form and invisibile-ized ourselves. I'm starting
to think I should have taken a hint from Arthur's reaction to
us. She says in realization to everyone looking at her in fear.

V: It probably wouldn't have worked anyway. Either that or it
would make things much worse than before.
V said to Vin before turning to the older version of herself.
V: I'll keep this brief so you and your friends won't try to
kill us. The Vins and I are not clones. We're from a different
alternate timeline... world or whatever the hell they call it.
Anyway, we came here to help, not harm. Something sinister is
here in this world and it's going to destroy everything. Look, I
know that this is starting to sound like one of those pain in
the ass problems that isn't new but if you want, we can handle
it while you enjoy the day off. Though we may need some help
from a few of your allies.

Vin: Well... Technically I am a clone of my V... She says,
correcting V. But we're not evil.
Vendetta Zuille listens to V, and then sighs. Vendetta Zuille:
Another timeline? I'm either too drunk, or I'm not drunk
enough... She looks over at Vin for a moment, noticing that Vin
was far more childlike. I'm glad to see at least one version of
Vinette Black found a happy ending. She says to herself.
Vin: Wow... I haven't been called that since my Ragnorok days...
Sort of strangely nostalgic to hear that name again. She says to
herself.
She gulps down the rest of her drink and looks to Merlin. Hey
Merlin. I'm gonna need a sober drink. It's gonna be one of those
days.
Merlin nods and grabs her a drink. He then looks to the
customers. Merlin: No fights here. Go back to your drinks. He
says to the customers. The customers cautiously go to their
normal business.

V: Yeah, I meant to say from this world. But either way, I don't
like calling you a clone, because you're more than that.
V said to Vin in response. V couldn't help but makes a worried
face when her older self mentioned the Vin in this world having
a not so great ending.
V: I'm... afraid to even ask about that. But since we're here...
V walk to the bar and takes a seat. Due to recent events
happening to her, she really needs one.
V: What's the strongest drink you guys have here?

Merlin: Strongest drink? That would be Darkfire Apple Cinnamon
Kicker. He says to V. It's designed for supernaturals who have
resistances to alcohol. Though we have plenty of other strong
drinks as well. He says. The drink he was describing was the
same one that Merlin had given her when they were drinking after
the Malice incident (The one that Merlin and Kindron developed
together.
Vin: Are you sure you should be drinking right now? She says to
V.
Dark Vin: Didn't they tell us we'd have some time before things
went down? She says to Vin.
Vin: Yeah, but if we're going to prevent it, we should probably
do it now. She says to Dark Vin.
Vendetta Zuille: If the world is gonna go to crap, then we
should enjoy our time now. She says, remembering V saying
something about something bad happening.
