Prologue

Our story today takes place in another timeline of Olympus's
universe. In this timeline, Vendetta Zolnerowich was born
earlier, and with a slightly different family history. This
version of V (as she would eventually come to be called), named
Vendetta Zuille, was born of a Celtic family, and was born as a
demi-god very similarly to the version of her in the Olympus
timeline. However, due to her different origins, she was not the
same person as the V of the Olympus timeline.
V would quickly come to learn of her heritage, and when she
became an adult, met Kindron Darkfire, the son of Hades and
Persephone. Kindron, doing training in the living world, ended
up finding Vendetta when she was training her lightning power.
Both had not reached anywhere near their potential, but started
training together when they realized they were cousins and were
both seeking to get stronger. Since Kindron had chosen to do
much of his training in the Celtic pantheon, Vendetta would also
train in the pantheon as well. As they went through the
pantheon, the two became a powerful pair who would go on to
fight in the pantheon for years, often taking out threats that
appeared.
Kindron would become known as the Dark Swordsman, known for his
katana that used his own darkness power. There were those that
didn't know him that also called him the Demon King. Others
called him the Cross of Darkness, the Dark Beast, and the Fire
of Darkness. Kindron would come to be known as a high level
demon of death, only the most knowledgable figuring out his true
identity as the son of Hades. Kindron would go on to continue
his training as a swordsman, even learning the Hiten Mitsurugi
style from his teacher, Seijuro Hiko. Kindron became known as
one of the fastest swordsman in the world, combining his
darkness with his sword technique and learning to predict his
opponents as he fought. Few could match him in combat, but
Kindron did have his rivals over the years. And Kindron would go
on to teach aspects of the Hiten Mitsurugi style to apprentices
he would gain over the years, the two of note were Millia Eilwyn
and Goten Uchiha. After giving his first sword to Millia after
Kindron finished training her, Kindron would come by a new sword
of darkness when he met Raven and her friend Smithy made a new
sword for Kindron that Smithy named Black Death (as a name to
show it's nature using death energy and darkness). After
Vendetta and Kindron saved Millia from Tarlach and Ruairi,
Millia opted to train with Kindron in the art of using a sword,
putting her magic training on hold with her uncle, Akule. After
some time travelling and fighting in the current era, Kindron
also would come up against Goten Uchiha, who would also opt to
train under him after failing to beat Kindron during a mission
where Goten and his team tried to take down Kindron due to a
bounty placed on Kindron thanks to damage he did to a city while
he and Vendetta were fighting Balor Beimnech and Arthur Gikari
(Which is a whole other story for another time). However, Goten
quickly came to see what kind of person Kindron was, and soon
Goten and his friends followed Vendetta and Kindron.
Vendetta Zuille, on the other hand, would come to gain the title
of Wolf Spirit. Some others also referred to her as Lightning
Blade, Spirit Blade, and even the Storm Spirit. Due to her
spiritual training, which was further honed when she trained in
the Land of Shamans, she would gain powerful spirit purification
power, as well as learning to connect with nature. While this
version of V wouldn't go on to become a witcher, she did become
a powerful spiritual opponent who had no trouble fighting
against almost any opponent when she combined her lightning and
wind powers with her fighting style as well. Vendetta would come
to be trained by the Gerudo woman, Urbosa, and learning Urbosa's
own special combat style that could create lightning with a snap
of the fingers. Not only did Vendetta learn Urbosa's lightning
abilities, but Urbosa also taught her to fight using a sword,
which led Vendetta to eventually gaining a special sword after
fighting a giant wolf spirit that bonded and became a familiar
of hers. The great wolf spirit, Sif, would grant his power to
Vendetta, and giving her the Greatsword of Artorias, which would
become a powerful spiritual weapon that Vendetta would use as
her primary weapon. Vendetta would even gain a special shotgun
made for her by a magic gunsmith during the early 1900s that
would become one of her primary weapons as well after Vendetta
started to take a liking to guns during the Old West time, as
she would come to enjoy the balance of having her sword and
having a gun she could use in combat to balance long range and
short range battle.
Together, Kindron and Vendetta would fight for years, fighting
all manners of threats. From saving the Land of Shamans,
fighting Balor, fighting Arthur Gikari, and even to some of the
battles in the current timeline, Kindron and Vendetta would
often become known as "Fire and Lightning" when they fought
together. Compared to the Olympus timeline, there were plenty of
changes that led to a very different outcome in terms of how
many events of the past would play out.
The first comes from among Kindron's first battles against the
Cessair, a group that tried to separate the living world from
the realm of gods so that gods wouldn't be able to manipulate
the lives of humans. During the first battle against Malice,
Vendetta and Kindron fought Malice, with Ruairi and Tarlach
watching from the sidelines and Akule and Shamala also present
(similar to the Olympus timeline except that this time would
also include Vendetta). Unlike in the Olympus timeline where
Malice was able to attack Ruairi and Shamala, nearly killing
them, Malice would not be able to attack Ruairi and Shamala.
Vendetta and Kindron were able to keep Malice focused on them,
not giving Malice any time to counterattack, so that Malice
couldn't attack Ruairi when he destroys Lia Fall, the altar with
which the spirits summoned Malice to their world
(unintentionally) as Malice couldn't hold off both Kindron and
Vendetta in battle. This not only led to Tarlach surviving this
incident (who died in the Olympus timeline to stop Malice's
resurrection), but also led to Kindron and Vendetta also getting
to Ruairi before he could escape with the Cessair as happened in
the Olympus timeline. Kindron and Vendetta would convince
Tarlach and Ruairi that their plan to seal off the living world
from the gods wouldn't work, and offered them a chance to travel
with them. Tarlach and Ruairi reluctantly agreed to join
Vendetta and Kindron in their travels. However, another major
change to this timeline is that Kindron would never interact
with the Eye of Death spell in his anger during the battle with
Malice, and would never awaken hollow power within him that he
would come to use later.
What many don't know about Kindron's past is that the battle
against Dian Cecht, when Kindron had to battle Dian Cecht in
order to make his way to Ruairi who was planning to sacrifice
himself to open the doors between the pantheons and completely
allow the pantheons to interact with each other (which wasn't
previously possible for deities to interact with other
pantheon's realms), would also go very differently (a battle
most don't know about), though with the same result. The Cessair
would still succeed in their plan to open the doors of the
universe so that every pantheon would essentially allow every
pantheon interaction with each other (something that happened in
Olympus as well, but no one knows was the result of Kindron
failing to stop Ruairi from sacrificing himself to open the
doors to the pantheons). Due to this event being a fixed point
in time, this was not an event that could be changed as it was
an important event in the timeline to lead to certain events
later (as without this, gods like the Alternate Anubis,
Alternate Zeus and Alternate Michael would not have been drawn
to the Olympus universe even with Crayak's interference). As
such, this timeline would see the plan executed by Dian Cecht,
whom Kindron and Vendetta would take down, but not before her
death causes the doors of the pantheons to open permanently. In
this timeline, Ruairi and Tarlach would work with Kindron and
Vendetta's friends to help the group, though Kindron and
Vendetta would take on Dian Cecht and kill her.
The next change would come in the form of the battles with
Balor. During the travels of Kindron and Vendetta, they would
come across a group known as the Aces, made up of a singer named
Starlet, a magician martial artist named Merlin, an alchemist
named J, a man who specializes in exploration simpled called
"The Treasure Hunter", and the last member of their group,
Eiren. In the Olympus timeline, Kindron would go to help Eiren
overcome her celtic demon and Eiren would go on to rejoin the
Aces group after Kindron was able to free her from her crystal
prison she had placed herself in to prevent herself from going
crazy. In the Olympus timeline, she would travel with the Aces
and with Kindron, Shamala and Millia (At least until most of the
Aces, save Merlin, were murdered by Balor). In this timeline
though, Eiren and the Aces would also befriend Vendetta, and the
group started travelling together with even Shamala and Millia
becoming friends with the group (Goten didn't join the group
till much later since he is still born at the same time as he is
in the Olympus timeline).
In addition to the Aces, Kindron and Vendetta would also go on
to befriend a race of giants and elves, and would eventually
even bring peace between the two warring races. Thanks to
Kindron and Vendetta, they would unite the two races through
their battles, as Kindron and Vendetta wouldn't be able to take
on the Cessair without the two races armies since the Cessair
had their own army and two powerful full dragons that were even
a problem for Kindron and Vendetta at times. Because of this,
alongside the Cessair having the Eye of Death that turned
Kindron and Vendetta into demons (at least until they got charms
from Akule that prevented it) and the fact that the Cessair had
an army of fomors (essentially Celtic demons) at their disposal,
Kindron and Vendetta would come to rely on the giants and elves
during the conflict. After peace finally won thanks to Kindron
and Vendetta fighting to unite the two warring kingdoms, members
of both kingdoms would go to a human kingdom called Tara that
would become a place where elves, giants and humans lived
peacefully. This would also lead to Kindron and Vendetta
befriending the elf general Maike, and the giant general, Dowra.
During the time in Tara, Kindron and Vendetta would save the
country from multiple attacks, including stopping the Knight of
Light, Lugh Lavada, from killing the princess of the time before
she took the throne as Queen of Tara. Kindron and Vendetta would
eventually come to find out about the resurrection of Balor
during their travels, and after the kingdom of Tara found out
about Balor's possible return, the queen of Tara, Eirawen, would
assign Kindron and Vendetta to lead a team to hunt down and
defeat the Followers of the Black Moon (the group trying to
resurrect Balor). During the war against this group, they would
meet the young Piran, a young mage and member of the church, and
Eirawen's personal bodyguard, Marleid, who would also go on to
join Kindron and Vendetta's group.
During this event, they would come to find out about the groups
true intentions, as Balor Beimnech was already reincarnated, so
no one could figure out what the group was after for a while.
Believing that the group was trying to set up an apocalyptic
scenario that was told in their book (which was not a book of
prophecy like everyone thought), the group led by Kindron and
Vendetta, which would include all the friends they'd met up to
this point, would track down the Black Moon during their final
plan to finish the book they were using, which turned out to be
a manuscript to lead the kingdom into chaos and revolution
before summoning Malice who would destroy the kingdom once it
had begun to war against itself. However, this version of events
would go much differently as it did in the Olympus timeline.
Instead of Balor killing everyone, Balor came face to face with
Vendetta, who would fight while Kindron had gone to defeat the
ones summoning Malice. Because Vendetta was as tough as Kindron
was as warrior, Balor didn't kill most of Kindron's friends in
this timline, as Vendetta was powerful enough to beat Balor on
her own. However, unlike the Olympus timeline, Balor wasn't
killed in this battle, but instead Balor managed to escape, and
would come back to fight Kindron and Vendetta again and again in
the future. While Vendetta was fighting Balor, Kindron would go
and defeat the ones summoning Malice, preventing his summoning
(unlike in the Olympus timeline where he went back to help his
friends against Balor and the kingdom of Tara fell at the hands
of Malice due to Kindron choosing to try and safe his friends
from Balor). In this timeline, Kindron killed the remainder of
the Black Moon group, and managed to save the kingdom from being
destroyed as he would expose the plans of the group and prevent
the uprising that was to take place before Malice's return.
After saving the kingdom, the group would go on to continue
travelling the world. However, since Malice would not return,
and Balor was soundly defeated, Kindron and Shamala would not
gain the power of Morrighan and Neamhein in this timeline
(Though Kindron and Vendetta would get the powers of Morrighan
and Neamnhein many years later.)
However, this wouldn't be the end of their story, as Kindron and
Vendetta would go on to fight other threats over the years.
Their battles would include defeating Arthur Gikari (whom
Kindron still defeated, but thanks to the events of Balor's
final battle playing out differently, Kindron hadn't gone dark
in this timeline nor had Shamala given up on humanity, so the
battle happened a bit differently). The battle with Arthur was
quite different, as Kindron and Vendetta defeated the group, but
chose to let them live as Vendetta's views to avoid killing
opponents when possible had rubbed on off on Kindron, so Kindron
opted not to kill Arthur and the other Stormbreakers (unlike in
the Olympus timeline where Kindron and Shamala slaughtered them
all). Though Arthur would become a major rival to Kindron and
Vendetta, even teaming up with Balor at one point (which is a
whole other story), and Kindron and Vendetta would come to fight
him for a few years before finally making him their ally, and
finally convincing the Stormbreakers to give up on their goals
of taking over the world in favor of helping Vendetta and
Kindron protect the world from other threats. While Arthur and
Vendetta still disagreed about a lot of things, Vendetta and
Arthur were still half-siblings, and would go on to work
together more as the years went by, even working together during
enemies like Hyperion.
Another event that was different from Olympus is that Vendetta
and Kindron both befriended Raven Sparrow, their other cousin.
During their time helping Raven, they would help her against
some of her enemies, taking on enemies over the years like Davy
Jones, Crocodile, Maria Blackbeard, and other enemies that would
come up (though none of them would last too long against the
trio when they all worked together). While they would defeat
Maria closer to the current timeline, they would still take on
enemies that would give Raven trouble from time to time, and
become a permanent ally of Raven's. Raven's crew and Kindron and
Vendetta's friends would all become friends during their time
working together, and the group would mostly be on pretty
friendly terms, with those like Smithy and Merlin becoming good
friends (who would become good drinking buddies). Zoro would
befriend Kindron, who he saw as a fellow rival swordsman. The
two would train together and test their strength against each
other regularly (though most of Raven's crew wouldn't appear
till later). For a number of years, Kindron and Vendetta even
traveled with Raven to explore the seas, with Kindron and
Vendetta's group of friends allying with Raven during this time
period.
The next event to change would be the battle against the Red
Beast. When the Red Beast broke through his confinement in the
Olympus timeline, he killed most of the Olympian gods during the
battle. However, in this timeline, V, Kindron and Raven would
respond to Hades warning quickly about the Red Beast growing
stronger unlike the Olympus timeline (where they had to get
together and plan their attack before fighting the Red Beast
which gave the Red Beast the time it needed to kill most of the
Olympian gods). When they arrived, they were able to beat the
Red Beast before he was able to break free of Tartarus. Because
Kindron hadn't gone dark in this timeline, he never reached the
full power of his dark aura, so his aura was only partially
restrained, and not powerful enough to stop the Red Beast like
he was in the Olympus timeline. Instead, Raven, Kindron, and
Vendetta all teamed up, and took down the red beast in combat.
During that time, Merlin and the other aces were able to track
down the weapon to kill the Red Beast thanks to help from Hades,
and, once the weapon was fused to Vendetta's sword to strengthen
it to kill primordial beings, Vendetta was able to kill the Red
Beast. With this, Olympus would be saved, and the gods all
survived the battle. This not only led to Kindron and Vendetta
never taking their positions as the heads of Tartarus and
Olympus respectively (Since Zeus and Hades were still alive),
but would give them the freedom to travel the world as they had
been doing since the gods were still well and running Olympus.
This change also means that the titans had never escaped
Tartarus, and were still locked in the jails of Tartarus under
Hades' watchful eye.
While Kindron wouldn't be ruler of Tartarus, he did still manage
to create the greek demons to help his father and maintain order
in Tartarus at his mother's request. However, the major
difference is that Kindron never met Vobu, and never learned
darkness power from Vobu, thus again Kindron never reached his
full capability. With his father's help, Kindron learned a lot
about his darkness though, and created the greek demons,
alongside with giving new life to Drake, who was a soul he met
in Tartarus while creating the Greek Demons. This would lead to
Kindron and Drake also becoming friends, with Drake joining
Kindron's group as well. While Kindron wouldn't stay in
Tartarus, he would leave behind the Greek demons he created for
his father, on the condition that he rules over them fairly and
the Greek demons loyal to Kindron could visit him when they
wanted to, and Kindron could call on them for help. Thanks to
the greek demons that Kindron created, Tartarus would be far
more secure, with Demiurge becoming the warden of the jails in
Tartarus, backed up by Sebas and his strength to help fight any
opponent that tries to break in or break out. Alongside the
other greek demons Kindron created specifically for different
roles, Tartarus would run even more efficiently.
Kindron and Vendetta would also go on to battle Madara Uchiha
and Sosuke Aizen (separately). During the battle with Madara
though, Kindron and Vendetta would gain new abilities by
accident when Madara's attempt to fuse with Black and White
Zetsu would be interrupted by Kindron and Vendetta. Unlike the
Olympus universe where both would fuse with Vendetta, in this
timeline, only white Zetsu would fuse to Vendetta. In this
manner, Vendetta was accidently granted the power of the Senju
clan by Madara, granting her immense energy, granting her the
wood style of the first hokage (Hashirama Senju) and granting
her far more stamina than most opponents. Kindron would be
granted the power of the Uchiha clan, and almost instantly gain
the power of the Sharingan in his right eye, which would become
a permanent Sharingan eye. Even though they would kill Madara,
the effects of the battle on them would be permanent, as V and
Kindron were permanently fused to the Zetsus. However, through
training, the two would eventually be able to combine their
powers so that when they fought side by side and traded energy
with each other, they would temporarily gain the Rinnegan, which
would grant them both immense power and allow them to utilize
team attacks that surpassed anything that the Olympus timeline
version of Kindron and Vendetta would have been able to pull
off. However, the major downside to this, was that Kindron's eye
had to be covered, or else his energy would constantly drain
since his right eye became a permanent Sharingan (though with
Kindron's immense amount of energy at his disposal, he didn't
have to worry much about running out of power too quickly in
battle). While Kindron would train and gain a black Mangekyo
Sharingan in that eye when he trained with Goten, this wouldn't
happen for many years after this incident. As such, Kindron
would wear an eye patch over his right eye so that he wouldn't
overuse his energy. V wouldn't have to worry, as her power was
more naturally combined with her even though she had trouble at
first using the wood style. And when combining their powers,
both would be able to use all of the elemental powers, including
water, lightning, wind, fire, and earth, which led to them
working together to find ways to utilize their combined power in
battle.
It is worth noting that in this timeline, Vendetta and Kindron,
during their training to take on Madara in the ninja village
under Kakashi Hatake, would meet Sasuke Uchiha during their time
hunting down Madara. After Sasuke had killed his brother,
Itachi, as revenge for Itachi killing the Uchiha clan, Sasuke
had eventually learned the truth of what had happened and how
Itachi was secretly working for the Leaf Village the whole time.
During this, Sasuke was sent into a rage, and tried to destroy
the Leaf Village. During the incident, Kindron and Vendetta
confronted him. Unlike the Olympus timeline, where Sasuke would
eventually die in battle with Vendetta, this timeline would see
Kindron and Sasuke battle, where Kindron was able to beat Sasuke
without killing him. Though this was before Kindron got the
Sharingan from Madara's Black Zetsu, Kindron would defeat
Sasuke's Sharingan, eventually convincing Sasuke to join their
group. During the incident, Sasuke would be rejected from the
Leaf Village, but would travel with Kindron and Vendetta,
training with them. Sasuke would also help Kindron learn to use
his Sharingan during the time after he gets it from Madara, and
eventually Sasuke would even go on to eventually even find out
about Goten, his cousin, and the two would train together after
they found out about each other. The only downside to this
timeline though, is that Vendetta would never meet Rikyu, not
until much later after Rikyu had become a threat to the Leaf
Village. Because Rikyu was a clone of Itachi Uchiha, he would be
hunted down as the village believed for a while that he was
Itachi. Because of the changes in this timeline as opposed to
this timeline, Rikyu would eventually only find sanctuary among
the Akatsuki, and after Kindron and Vendetta defeated the
remaining members during the time they fougth Madara, Rikyu
would be on the run. Unlike the Olympus timeline, Vendetta never
got a chance to get Rikyu on her side, and Rikyu would
eventually go to join Hyperion alongside a group of rogue ninjas
he formed that would become Hyperion's intelligence scouts, and
Rikyu would eventually start going by Rikyu Uchiha, the golden
dragon general of Hyperion.
The next battle would come up against Sosuke Aizen. When Kindron
and Vendetta went into the hollow world to stop Aizen at the
request of Hades (as Sosuke's plan to take over the Soul Society
could have had disastrous effects on the realm of death), they
would find Ichigo much like Kindron did in the Olympus timeline.
However, in this timeline, Kindron didn't have his hollow powers
mixed with his amplification abilities that would be able to
restore some of Ichigo's human side. Instead, Kindron and
Vendetta were forced to use spirit purification, and kill Ichigo
due to the fact that Ichigo had been too far hollowified in his
soul to reverse his hollowfication. After killing Ichigo and
Vendetta healing Uryu before he died with her spiritual powers,
Uryu would travel with them while Kindron made sure Ichigo's
soul would make it to a reaper when they returned to the real
world. Once Ichigo had gone with the reaper to the afterlife,
Uryu would travel with Kindron and Vendetta, alongside Unohana,
who was one of the few people to survive the battles in the
Hollow world alongside Byakuya Kuchiki and Kenpachi Zaraki. Once
in the living world, they managed to save some of the soul
reapers, such as Toshiro Hitsugaya, who had been fatally wounded
by Aizen before they arrived. After Uryu had managed to help
Unohana to the group who needed healing, Kindron focused on
Aizen. This battle went much like the Olympus timeline, because
V was not able to fight without being tricked by Aizen's
illusions. Since Kindron was immune to them just as he was in
the Olympus timeline, Kindron was the one who defeated and
killed Aizen. However, unlike the Olympus timeline, this battle
didn't take place in the Soul Society, but rather this battle
took place in Karakura town, the Japanese town that Aizen was
trying to destroy. Once Kindron beat Aizen, and pushed Aizen to
his limits, a kido placed into him by Kisuke Urahara took
effect. Unlike the Olympus timeline where Kindron managed to
blast Aizen and destroy the Kido with his hollow power without
realizing what the power was when Kindron blasted him, the Kido
would trap Aizen, allowing the soul reapers to safely transport
him to the prison in the Soul Society. Since the power took hold
of Aizen and imprisoned him, he was peaceably taken to the Soul
Society, and wouldn't come back to try and fight again as he did
in the Olympus timeline.
The next event happened far differently from the normal
timeline. Nuadha, the one who would take over Falias in
Olympus's timeline, would be released by Cichol much earlier
than he was released in the Olympus timeline (not long after the
incident with Sosuke Aizen), but since Cichol didn't have the
support of the titans or of Aizen, he and Nuadha ended up having
to work alone. Almost immediately, Kindron and Vendetta were
called by Morrighan to stop them, and Kindron and Vendetta
quickly put a stop to Cichol and Nuadha once they appeared.
During the incident, Kindron and Vendetta had to build the
weapon of the Celtic gods, the Brionac, which was a god-killer
weapon. After being given the power to build it when Neamhein
gave Vendetta her power and Morrighan giving Kindron her power,
the two managed to rebuild the weapon. However, without Macha
being known to be alive in this timeline (who would later be
defeated by Kindron and Vendetta), the brionac was much weaker
than it should have been. However, with Kindron and Vendetta
gaining the blessing of Morrighan and Neamhein respectively,
both gained the full power of Morrighan and Neamhein's godly
power (Kindron gaining the power of Morrighan's darkness and
Vendetta gaining the power of Neamhein's light). Alongside
Morrighan and Neamhein, Kindron and Vendetta beat Nuadha, and
imprisoned Cichol in Falias using a special godly power that
Vendetta had gained during her training to seal away presences.
Since the brionac wasn't strong enough to kill Cichol, he was
sealed away in a jar, while Kindron finished off Nuadha. With
this, the battle in the Celtic pantheon would come to an end,
without Nuadha being able to kill the gods of Falias, and
without Cichol being able to enact any of his plans he did in
the Olympus timeline.
The last enemy before the current age that Kindron and Vendetta
took down was the Order of the Dragon (There was also the black
lantern incident, but that happened much the same way it did in
Olympus's timeline). During the incident, Vendetta and Kindron
managed to stop Remilia and Flandre Scarlet, in which Vendetta
managed to kill most of the Order of the Dragon with help from
Special Forces after Kindron and Vendetta started working
alongside them since she was close friends with the Zolnerowich
family and with Maxine's family. However, unlike the Olympus
timeline, this timeline would see Nightbane embrace the power of
a dracopyre, as Vendetta didn't get a chance to befriend
Nightbane in this timeline due to her not encountering Nightbane
until after he became a dracopyre. This resulted in Vendetta and
Kindron having to kill both the dracopyre Nightbane and the wind
mage clone Vaati, who were working together to try and take down
Kindron and Vendetta. However, they were soundly beaten and both
died during the battle. Because Vaati wasn't able to fake his
death against Kindron like he did against Vendetta and Nightbane
in the Olympus timeline, this timeline would not see this Vaati
join Hyperion. However, this also meant that when Vendetta
killed Nightbane, she was unable to redeem him the way that she
did in the Olympus timeline. After beating them both, Kindron
and Vendetta beat Remilia and Flandre, killing them both as well
thanks to Remilia and Flandre not being prepared to fight
Kindron and Vendetta's godly powers (similarly to how Remilia
was unprepared for V's god powers in the Olympus timeline).
This would bring us to the current timeline. With the existence
of demi-gods becoming public knowledge happening the same way in
this timeline (another fixed event in time that cannot be
changed), this led to the formation of groups like Ragnorok.
However, unlike before, Ragnorok never really rose to power the
same way they did in the Olympus timeline, instead becoming a
small group that never gained much support. Due to Arthur Gikari
gaining the support of a lot of people who were seeking someone
to protect them from the dangerous demi-gods running around (as
Vendetta never opted to publically try to make herself known
like Arthur would do), Ragnorok's support would never really
take off, especially since Shinra and Wayne-Powers would join
Stormbreakers in this timeline before Ragnorok had formed.
However, Ragnorok would still at least manage to make clones of
V and Kindron, alongside the Metal Coolers. However, because
less information was known about their DNA than in the Olympus
timeline as neither were in the spotlight much since Zeus and
Hades were running Olympus and Tartarus respectively, the clones
took much longer to create. Though Genus would go on to make Vin
and Rei, their DNA was modified slightly more, and they were a
bit different than they were in Olympus (More about Vin and Rei
later). As for Ragnorok, Kindron and Vendetta would eventually
defeat Garton and the top members of Ragnorok pretty quickly
once they found out about Ragnorok's artificial experiments and
cybernetics research being illegally done. With help from
Special Forces, most of Ragnorok was quickly imprisoned, with
only a few members of Ragnorok escaping. However, since Garton
refused to be imprisoned, he fought to the very end against
Kindron Darkfire, and the two fought a long battle before Garton
was finally killed.
The next battle would come in the form of the demon princes,
where Kindron and Vendetta would befriend and help the
Winchester brothers to stop the resurrection of Lucifer. Unlike
the Olympus timeline, Kindron was never attacked by Kagetane, as
Kindron and Vendetta were almost impossible to sneak up on with
Kindron having the Sharingan, and Vendetta always having
spiritual awareness. Whether or not it was the result of the
demon princes or another force (as those like Millia suspect in
the Olympus timeline), Kindron and Vendetta were never attacked
the same way Kindron was in the Olympus timeline. After Crowley
would go to Hades for help against the demon princes, and
promising to become a permanent ally to Hades (to help him
against any enemies that might come up against Tartarus should
it be required as Crowley offered Radu Cel Frumos and Dovelthain
Hazeldine to help Hades if he should ever need it), Kindron and
Vendetta were dispatched by Hades to stop the demon princes.
During the span of the next few months, Kindron and Vendetta
would focus on cornering and taking down the individual demon
princes, killing them one by one. However, they would find help
from the Church, in which the churches hero, the nephilim, Emi
Yusa would join the group and take down King Satan. However,
even though King Satan was taken down, Lucifer would still be
resurrected, and Kindron and Vendetta got stuck in a battle with
Lucifer. However, due to how strong the two had become, as
Kindron and Vendetta not only had their godly power, but also
the godly power of Morrighan and Neamhein, the combination of
godly darkness and godly light had proved too much for Lucifer
and with Vendetta's enhanced sword that was able to kill
primordial beings, they managed to kill Lucifer. This ended
another threat, and would lead to the demon princes never
joining any groups like they did in the Olympus timeline.
The next battle would be the battle with Alternate Anubis and
his forces. When Alternate Anubis appeared in this timeline, he
would soon be met by Kindron and Vendetta when Alternate Anubis
tried to take over the Egyptian pantheon, as Kindron and
Vendetta had also made friends with some of the Egyptian gods.
When the Egyptian pantheon called them for help, Kindron and
Vendetta immediately responded. While Kindron and Vendetta took
on Anubis, their friends managed to take down most of Anubis's
group, such as Ruairi being able to take down Anubis's Ruairi,
and those like Merlin and Eiren took down Cloud and Biyu, while
Tarlach took down the hollowfied Sera. During the incident,
Kindron and Vendetta called on the help of the Kingdom of Tara,
which sent their armies to help take down the army Anubis had
brought with him. During the fight, Kindron and Vendetta beat
Anubis, but as he was an ascended being, they couldn't kill him
with the weapons they had. Because of this, Vendetta ended up
sealing Alternate Anubis away in a jar, and handing it to the
Time Patrol (Snayle and Kira) who arrived to try and help with
Anubis. Afterward, Snayle and Kira would return to their
universe, keeping the jar in the Time Vault with the Supreme Kai
of time (so that no one would be able to access it as no one
could access the Supreme Kai of Time's time vault without her
permission due to special properties the Vault has). This would
essentially mark the end of the battle with Anubis. In addition
to Anubis never gaining any support or recruiting new people (Or
being able to bring over others from his universe through Madame
Gao like in the Olympus timeline), Towa would never rise to the
level of Demon Goddess as she didn't get a chance to team up
with Anubis in this timeline, in which she never rose above a
normal demon level and never left the demon realm without Anubis
to inspire her to become lord of the demon realm. Somewhere in
the demon realm, Towa would simply sit in her corner of the
Demon Realm, and do her experiments where she would never become
a major threat to the world.
There would be relative peace after this, with some small
battles here and there. Among the battles, Kindron and Vendetta
would come to fight Macha, who would appear much the same way
that she did in the Olympus timeline. However, the major
difference is that Goku Black never appeared in this timeline,
as it can be assumed that no events happened that drew his
attention to the timeline the same way the Olympus timeline drew
Goku Black's attention (like Towa bringing people from other
timelines). This led Macha to fight Kindron and Vendetta, who
fought on behalf of Morrighan and Neamhein. Of course, without
Goku Black, Macha would never come to become quite as dangerous
as she was in the Olympus timeline (as Olympus timeline's Macha
would learn god ki and combine it with her Celtic deity
abilities thanks to training with Goku Black). When Macha
appeared and started her campaign to destroy the world (as Goku
Black never appeared to stop her from focusing on humanity
alone), Kindron and Vendetta put a stop to it pretty quickly.
However, at the request of Morrighan, who didn't want to see her
sister die again (As this version of her had been revived, since
Macha had died previously), Vendetta opted not to kill Macha,
but sealed her away and handed the jar Macha was sealed in to
Morrighan. Another of the minor issues would be the possible
revival of Onaga, in which Ryu would still appear to Special
Forces and warn them about Onaga. However, much like the Olympus
timeline, nothing of Onaga had happened yet, and no one had
figured out where his tomb was. So this means that the Onaga
incident has yet to happen even to this day, even though those
like Ryu are still hunting down Onaga's tomb. This would still
lead to Ryu becoming allies with Kindron and Vendetta, and since
Drake was with the group, he would instantly come to recognize
his son who he had thought was dead.
Another of the battles that would come up would be the arrival
of Dark V, and Raiden Kindron alongside their groups that
appeared with them. This timeline went somewhat the same way, in
that Dark V would talk with Vendetta and Kindron. Since the
Order was in the London universe in this timeline as well, Dark
V wasn't able to do much on her own. Since their world was in
relative peace and was pretty well protected by Vendetta and
Kindron, there was no reason for Dark V to stay in Olympus to
convince them to let the Order of the Dragon help them, so she
opted to leave and go to another universe. This would lead to
Raiden Kindron and Father Hei to appear in this timeline, though
since Dark V wasn't staying, they didn't end up staying either,
and followed Dark V to the next universe after a brief
discussion with Kindron and Vendetta. This means that Raiden
Kindron and Father Hei never stayed in the Olympus universe in
this timeline, and their group also didn't stay in Olympus
(Though Ruairi and Tarlach did meet their alternate selves in
this timeline). This would remove the threat of Raiden Kindron
going crazy from the timeline, as well as him taking over Black
Sun (Which didn't come to exist in this timeline anyway), but
also means that they wouldn't gain the alternates as allies
since they moved to the next universe with Dark V.
The next battle that one might wonder about is the revival of
Vobu, and the battle against the Tribe of Vobu. During the
incident when Vobu was to be released, Vobu's tribe managed to
release Vobu. However, due to hearing about the revival of Vobu
from Dovelthain through Crowley, Hades would go to ask Kindron
and Vendetta to handle the tribe of Vobu. Along the way, they
would meet Danae Levesque, who they would befriend and would
help them take on the Tribe of Vobu as Danae was trying to
prevent Vobu's release. When they arrived, Kindron and Vendetta
had no trouble with the tribe of Vobu. Without Zehra possessing
Alix (as Kindron and Alix never met in this timeline, nor
learned of each other, and without Kindron dying, she never came
to become possessed by Zehra in her grief), the Tribe of Vobu
had no one to counter Kindron and Vendetta's combined power,
which was even tougher for them since Danae and Dovelthain ended
up working with Kindron and Vendetta as well during the incident
to take down the Tribe of Vobu. While Vobu was still released
thanks to Anisha's final sacrifice before being killed by
Kindron and Vendetta, after a battle with Kindron and Vendetta,
Vendetta managed to kill Vobu thanks to her sword being able to
kill primordial beings once Kindron and Vendetta overpowered
Vobu's dark arts and elemental earth abilties. After Vobu's
death, and the tribe of Vobu being gone, Kindron and Vendetta
went back to doing their normal thing. Drake and Danae would
start hanging out together soon after the incident, and
eventually Drake started travelling with Danae as the two became
close friends. The only other thing of note was that Dovelthain
took an interest in Kindron as a warrior, and constantly
challenged Kindron to fights as a result. It didn't take long
for Dovelthain and Kindron to become friendly rivals as they
would often get together and train, with Dovelthain going on to
teach Kindron how to utilize darkness abilities and helping
Kindron perfect the dark arts using his godly aura (Which
weren't evil dark arts, more just godly darkness using dark
arts).
One might wonder though what happened to the Ellimist and Crayak
in this timeline. Unlike the Olympus timeline, their game was
played in secret. Without Raiden Kindron being around and
figuring out that Crayak and the Ellimist were manipulating both
sides of almost every conflict, the heroes never figured out
that the Ellimist and Crayak were using their world as a grounds
for their game. And because the game between Crayak and the
Ellimist had not escalated like it had when Raiden Kindron found
out about Crayak in the Olympus timeline, Crayak never had the
idea to bring Alternate Zeus and Alternate Michael to Olympus as
a result. This also changed Sariel's story a little, and because
no one attacked Sariel, she was still in charge of Heaven. Even
though Sariel would still hunt down nephilim, eventually she
would stop once Kindron and Vendetta briefly teamed up with
Gabriel and Muriel (as Gabriel never died in this timeline since
Lucifer wasn't a threat long enough for the Winchesters to
require Gabriel's help) to defeat Sariel. After Sariel was
defeated, her war was put to an end as Muriel and Gabriel stayed
in Heaven and took a personal interest in helping run Heaven,
keeping Sariel from going after the nephilim. While Sariel was
still in charge, the two prevented Sariel from attacking
nephilim after they removed the god fragments from Sariel and
opted to keep them sealed away so that no one would be able to
steal them. And since Muriel was an ally of Crowley, Muriel was
able to negotiate a peace between Sariel and Crowley, so that
Heaven and Hell would no longer fight each other and focus on
their own goals.
Since Kindron and Vendetta had beaten every threat that came up
against them, and even gained a lot of allies they wouldn't have
gained in the Olympus timeline, things stayed relatively
peaceful until the current day. Even though Crayak would still
try to send threats after Kindron and Vendetta, nothing Crayak
had seemed to be able to overcome the duo, and the few times
they needed extra help, they would often get help from either
Raven or Arthur depending on the situation. Because Kindron and
Vendetta had become such a strong combination, the Ellimist
never had to get involved in Kindron and Vendetta's battles, so
he never appeared to them, with his influence mostly being done
in secret.
This brings us to the current day. As one might imagine, without
Black Sun, without Anubis, and without Raiden Kindron and
Alternate Zeus appearing, this led to Hyperion having a
worldwide presence to the point that most of the countries were
run by them (as they had no competition). However, when current
presidents of countries like Russia and the US stopped allowing
Hyperion to rule them much like the Olympus timeline, they
started a movement that would quickly push Hyperion into
invading countries to take them over. Because Hyperion had a
large rule of much of the world, they went after the countries
that rebelled against them. With help from Stormbreakers,
Wakanda, and even some help from the Celtic and Egyptian
pantheons, Hyperion would find it difficult to continue ruling
the world in secret. Soon, Kindron and Vendetta would even gain
an ally in Kahndaq, after Black Adam fought Kindron and
Vendetta, and they beat Black Adam in combat. Even though
Kindron and Vendetta were not ruling Olympus and Tartarus, Black
Adam acknowledged them both as rightful rulers, and opted to
join the US's alliance against Hyperion in respect to Kindron
and Vendetta's combat ability. Soon, Olympus would become the
home of resistance against Hyperion, one of the last free
countries that wasn't taken over after Hyperion started a war on
the US and Russia.
However, Hyperion did still have a powerful ally in Dr. Doom,
who would eventually meet his end at the hands of the new
leaders of Hyperion, Vinette Black and Rei Whitefire (the former
Ragnorok clones of V and Kindron). After they got tired of
Hyperion's worship of Malice, they chose to kill Doom and
interrupt the plans to bring back Malice, and take over Hyperion
for their own. While some didn't like this and left, most like
Adam Taurus, Kirys Nexus and Esdeath, had no problems with
Vinette Black being the new leader, as by the time she killed
Doom, she had established herself as the strongest and most
capable to lead in Hyperion. This timeline's version of Vin,
Vinette Black, had not interacted with Vendetta the same way she
did in the Olympus timeline, and when she was rejected by
Ragnorok (who fell apart soon after Vin was attempted to be
killed by Genus who tried to create better clones but failed in
this timeline), Vinette ended up being picked up by Hyperion as
not only did Vinette get betrayed by Genus, but also the fact
that Special Forces was in the process of attacking and
defeating the much smaller Ragnorok organization at the time.
With nowhere to go, Vinette and Rei ended up finding sanctuary
with Adam Taurus. Soon, Vinette was trained by Adam Taurus, and
grew to be a powerful warrior in Hyperion. At the same time,
Esdeath trained Rei, teaching him how to use his ice power more
effectively. Vinette eventually gave up her chakra techniques,
and instead opted for pure sword-based combat, learning not only
Adam's sword style, but also learning black magic and dark arts
from Kirys in order to become as strong as she could. As such,
Vinette quickly mastered the dark arts, and never became a fairy
or a ki user like she was in the Olympus timeline. During a
previous battle, Rei had been killed by Kindron during a battle,
when Rei had gone to try and kill Hades and take over Tartarus.
However, Rei not only failed in this goal, but was killed by
Kindron during the battle in order to save the people Rei had
taken hostage during the incident, including Rei threatening to
kill a few of the Greek demons that Kindron created to provoke
Kindron (Which worked since Kindron was forced to kill Rei to
save them). As such, Vinette Black is the last remnant of
Ragnorok, and planning her last attack on Kindron and Vendetta
as revenge for her brother (Rei's) death with the help of
Hyperion. Vinette would soon come to be known as the Storms of
Devastation, due to her destructive power rising to a level
where she could use storms to destroy entire cities.

Raven Sparrow: I don't like me the looks of that storm...
Downright sinister omen. Raven says, somewhat hesitantly, as
their ship comes up as close as it could get to Olympus.
Kindron: It's her... Vinette Black. She must have taken control
of the weather here to prevent V from doing so. I'm guessing as
a means to hinder V's ability to use the weather. I can't
believe how powerful she's become to control the weather from
this far away...
Raven: I don't like it, I've got a bad feelin' about this one. I
haven't felt an aura this sinister in a long time... She says,
before looking to V and Kindron. Be careful you two. Come back
alive.
Vendetta: I feel it too. A bad omen in the wind. I was hoping
Vinette might listen to reason... But she's a clone who was made
to kill. Part of me is thinking that her power might be to show
us she means business. She says.
Kindron: I'm guessing that's the point of having Hyperion take
over Olympus... She was strong enough to kill Uncle Zeus... That
alone should tell you how dangerous she is. I'm guessing she's
probably not happy about me killing her brother. He says with a
sigh. I do sense death in the air though. I suspect that this
will either be Hyperion's final battle, or ours. I'm not sure
which.
Vendetta: If we have to choose, then I say we make it theirs.
She says confidently.
Raven: I'll be here. We're gonna cut off any sea route Hyperion
might try to use for reinforcements.
Kindron: Good. If Tara and Special Forces does their part and
cuts off the flow of ground troops, then we can fight our way
in, take out Vinette, and then call it a day. Once she's gone,
I'm pretty sure the others are gonna back off. Unless they have
some secret plan up their sleeves.
Vendetta: Akule said he'd handle figuring out their plan. And
he's got Shamala, Millia and Goten's team with him. If anyone
can find a secret they might be keeping, then it's gonna be
them.
Kindron takes his sword, and readies himself. Kindron: Well...
Olympus isn't gonna retake itself...
Vendetta: I don't know... Maybe if we wait a while longer. She
says jokingly. But she gets up and grabs her sword, ready to
fight. She calls to her wolf familiar who was hiding out in her
spirit. You ready for this, Sif? I fear we're gonna be fighting
pretty hard this time.
Sif: Don't worry about me, master... I will do my part. He says
with confidence.
Kindron: Alright... Here goes. We're likely to encounter all the
generals of Hyperion... So be on guard.
Vendetta: I know... I'm ready.
The two jump off the ship, and make their way towards Olympus.
Because of Vinette's powerful storm, they couldn't teleport due
to the powerful dark arts that were being used to block
teleportation. Another problem they were trying to avoid was
flying, as Vinette could strike them out of the air using dark
arts with corrupted lightning , which was something she did to
Vendetta in a previous fight.
The first obstacle they'd run into along the way was the group
Nightshade, led by Alnnar Seishen. As Kindron and Vendetta
encounter them, Alnnar steps forward, already in his ifrit form.
He looks to the group, with the members of Nightshade standing
behind him. Alnnar: So... You finally arrived.
Kindron and Vendetta ready their weapons, ready to fight
through. Alnnar brings his blade down to try and crush them as
his first attack. However, before Kindron and Vendetta have a
chance to respond, Kindron's swordsman teacher, Seijuro Hiko,
appears and blocks the attack with his sword. Despite not
looking like he could handle the physical strength, Seijuro
blocks it fairly easily. While Alnnar was handling Seijuro's
attack, a blast of lightning blasts Alnnar, knocking him back.
Urbosa, Vendetta's teacher in combat and lightning, walks up and
stands next to Seijuro.
Urbosa: You two need to save your strength for the fights to
come. We will handle this one.
Kindron: Are you sure? This won't be easy to get by those
Nightshade members.
Alnnar: As if I'd let you get by me! He says as he attacks.
However, a combined attack from Seijuro firing a shockwave of
force from his Hiten Mitsurugi style, charged by Urbosa snapping
her fingers to create a blast of lightning, ends up blast him
back again.
Urbosa: Vinette Black seems to have her generals strategically
placed about. She wants to weaken you before you reach her.
Seijuro: We may not be as strong as you, but we can handle this
lot. So go. He says as he attacks with another shockwave,
blasting through a number of Nightshade members to make Kindron
and Vendetta a path.
Kindron: Alright. Good luck you too. Have fun I guess... He says
as he and Vendetta run. Kindron knew his teacher fairly well,
and knew that Seijuro was one to look for a fight if it meant
fighting someone strong.
Urbosa: Good luck to you too, little wolf. She says, more to
Vendetta than Kindron as they leave.
The next obstacle along the way they would face is Rikyu Uchiha,
the clone of Itachi Uchiha. Alongside a number of rogue ninjas
and people he'd recruited to try and destroy the ninja villages,
he got ready to fight. Rikyu: So... You've arrived. He summons a
dragon blade, and gets ready.
However, Sasuke and Goten Uchiha appears in front of Vendetta
and Kindron. Sasuke: Leave this to us. You go on ahead.
Goten activates his Sharingan, while Sasuke activates his
Sharingan and Rinnegan.
Kindron: I thought you were with Akule and Millia. He says to
Goten.
Goten: I was, but he sent me to come and help you. My team is
with him though so don't worry. I'm needed here. He says as he
readies his sword. Unlike the Olympus timeline, this Goten still
had his Susanoo kodachi, but also had a katana which he had
gotten from Smithy so he could train in the Hiten Mitsurugi
style with Kindron. Goten and Sasuke both ready their blades.
Rikyu: So I will be fighting you today... So be it. He says as
he charges Goten and Sasuke, who both attack him back. While
Goten held him back, Sasuke used his Rinnegan to warp Kindron
and Vendetta past the rogue ninjas, so that they wouldn't have
to fight them.
Once they got into the grounds of Olympus, they started cutting
their way through the droids, but as they expected, the droids
had a very tight formation designed to not allow them through
with Destroyer Droids guarding the ways for Kindron and Vendetta
to get into Mount Olympus so they could make their way to the
top .
Kindron: How do we do this? There's too many droids to make it
through with just two of us. We can't afford to waste our energy
here. He says, thinking.
Just then, a flurry of arrows flew in the sky above them,
raining down on the droids. As the arrows come down, the magic
in the arrows interrupts the tech in the droids, causing the
ones with shields to fail, and many of the droids have
difficulty operating. Once the droids were vulnerable and their
numbers thinned, the giants, led by Dowra (the general of the
Giant army), came in and started destroying the robots. Dowra
and the elf general, Maike, walk up to Kindron and Vendetta.
Dowra; Don't worry about this lot. We'll take care of 'em for
ya. She says confidently, punching her fists together as she
gets ready to join the fight as the giants were fighting up
close. Maike's forces were focused more in magic, and started
blasting droids to support the giants. Maike takes out a magic
staff, ready to fight in the battle as well.
Maike: Yes... Leave the rabble to us. We'll make short work of
this. He says as he walks up.
However, as an army of stormtroopers appear led by Kylo Ren, the
giants and elves have to move back. Kylo Ren, a former member of
Ragnorok, joined Hyperion after the fall of Ragnorok and became
the general of the stormtroopers and super soldiers created by
Ragnorok.
Kylo Ren: You will not pass. Garton Xeno will not go unavenged.
He says, igniting his saber and pointing it to Kindron. In this
timeline, Kylo Ren had become a general in Hyperion after
Kindron killed Garton Xeno, and had always been after revenge.
One of the last remnants of Ragnorok alongside Captain Phasma,
Kylo would eventually rebuild his storm trooper army in Hyperion
using supernaturals, and training them to create an army of
supernatural stormtroopers.
Almost immediately, two blasts of energy pass by Kindron and
Vendetta, and hit the enemies around them. As the giants and
elves look back, they see Queen Eirawen (now an adult as
compared to when Kindron and Vendetta first met her. Alongside
Eirawen was the SOLDIER members of Shinra, who were allied with
the Stormbreakers in this timeline. At the front, Genesis and
Angeal were standing ready to fight (Though Zack Fair and Cloud
Strife were with Goten's group at the time, so they weren't
present).
Genesis: Leave him to us. He says confidently. He activates his
power and Angeal walks up taking out his buster sword. The two
face down Kylo Ren.
Eirawen: Leave no droid functioning! They have tresspassed on an
ally of the kingdom of Tara, and we will make sure they know
what a mistake they have made to make war! She calls out to the
soldiers with her, rallying not only the SOLDIERS and humans
with her, but the giants and elves as well as the entire group
joins together. Eirawen looks to Kindron and Vendetta. Eirawen:
We will handle the droids. You go and take out the leaders. She
says to Kindron and Vendetta.
Kindron: Thank you. Don't do anything rash. He says as he and
Vendetta head inside.
Eirawen: Don't worry... I won't die here. Too many times we have
relied on the two of you, and now it is our turn to fight for
you. She says confidently as Kindron and Vendetta leave. Despite
her being a proud ruler, she was always friendly with Kindron
and Vendetta, as she considered them her closest friends. Over
the years, Kindron and Vendetta saved her and her kingdom on
multiple occassions, so it was rare for her to be able to
actually help the duo.
As Kylo Ren goes to attack Kindron and Vendetta, he is stopped
by Genesis and Angeal, who use energy from their bodies to focus
to their blades to block Kylo Ren's saber. Trying to help, Kylo
Ren's co-commander, Captain Phasma tries to join in, but is
attacked by Dowra and Maike and cut off.
Dowra: Can't let the humans have all the fun... She says
jokingly as she stands ready to fight Phasma.
Maike: We won't be shown up by anyone. He says as he gets ready.
As Dowra and Maike attack, the path was open for Kindron and
Vendetta to get into Olympus as they slowly make their way up
the structure.
The first obstacle they run into is Grievous who sees them. With
the Magna Guards (his bodyguards), Grievous was blocking his
exit. Grievous: Ah... The Dark Swordsman and the Wolf Spirit.
I've been looking forward to this. He says as he ignites four
sabers and gets ready.
As he does, the celtic demon Fomoire appears, holding his staff
ready as his darkness energy creates a barrier around his staff.
During their travels, Fomoire was saved by Kindron and Vendetta,
but Fomoire opted not to join their group, for his own reasons
in fear of what could happen to those that he befriends.
Alongside him was Zandrick Darkfire, someone else who Kindron
and Vendetta had helped in the past who was working alongside
Fomoire. As Zandrick takes out his soul sword, and readies
himself, Fomoire goes over to Grievous.
Fomoire: Your opponent today shall be me.
Zandrick: Go. We will handle this. He says to Kindron and
Vendetta.
Kindron: Thank you. Don't die. He says as he moves on. While
Grievous tries to stop him, he is cut off by Fomoire who blocks
his sabers.
Fomoire: Don't let your attention waver. He says as he knocks a
lightsaber away and knocks Grievous into the wall. As Grievous
gets up, he goes to attack Fomoire, while Zandrick takes on the
Magna Guards.
Kindron and Vendetta make their way through the structure,
making it into another area. There, standing ready, was Balor,
who smiles as he sees Kindron and Vendetta. After failing to
beat Kindron and Vendetta on multiple occassions, he eventually
joined Hyperion, becoming a general and rebuilding his Black
Moon group.
Balor: I've been looking forward to this. He says as he gets
ready. But as he attacks, suddenly a burst of lightning comes
in, and Arthur blocks Balor with his own sword, smiling at
Balor.
Behind Arthur was Rock and Solace, his seconds in command as
they stood ready to take on Balor's second in commands.
Arthur: Well now... This isn't what I was expecting, but I'll
take it. He says as he holds Balor back. He then turns to
Vendetta and Kindron. I got this. Go on ahead. I'd rather not
have to kill a woman, so I'll leave that to you. He says to
Vendetta. Despite the fact that he started out as an enemy,
Arthur had regained some of his honor in fighting over the years
and one of his rules in battle was that he tried to avoid
fighting women, which is why it was obvious that Arthur was
trying to avoid fighting Vinette Black, but still trying to
contribute to their goal of saving Olympus.
Balor: We were allies once or twice... I was always curious
which of us was stronger. And now I get to find out! He says
with a smile.
Arthur: That should be obvious... But I'm up for a good fight. I
was hoping for some entertainment today. He says with a smile.
It was obvious Balor and Arthur were both itching to fight each
other, and the clash between them draws both of their attention
so Kindron and Vendetta could move by and leave the fight to
Arthur. Rock and Solace's fights also drew the attention of the
others in the room, so Kindron and Vendetta sneaked by without
incident.
Kindron and Vendetta, continue on, and in the next room, they
find the mages of Germany, led by Fuhrer Tanya von Degurechaff.
When Tanya walks up to the group, Starlet and Professor J walk
in alongside Merlin and Eiren. Alongside them were also Ruairi
and Tarlach. Starlet and Professor J walk up to the mages and
Tanya.
Professor J: We will handle this one. He says simply. J was one
of those people who weren't too talkative, and let his actions
speak more than his words.
Tarlach: They're mages... You should let me handle them.
Professor J: No. We got it.
Tanya: Well... Aren't you people confident? She says with a
sadistic smile as she focuses her magic to attack J and Starlet.
Merlin looks to Kindron. Merlin: Looks like we're with you then.
He says as they run along with Kindron and Vendetta. Kindron
nods to J, thanking him, and J nods back to him. At this point,
Kindron and Vendetta were just going with the flow as it was
obvious what their friends were doing, appearing to take on the
generals so that Kindron and Vendetta could save their strength
for taking on Vinette Black. J and Kindron didn't talk much to
each other since they were both typically men of few words, but
the two understood each other more through actions than words.
As Kindron and the others move up the structure, the next room
had Esdeath and Kirys Nexus in it.
Kirys: Which of you will face us first? He says as he holds his
sabers ready, while Esdeath readies her sword.
Merlin and Eiren step forward, with Merlin putting on his
gauntlets, and Eiren getting her chain-blade sword ready.
Merlin: We got this. You guys go on ahead. He says as they get
ready.
Kindron: Alright. Be careful. He says as he and the group move
on.
As they reach the last level, Adam Taurus stands ready as he
gets ready to draw his sword. Ruairi and Tarlach, in unison,
step forward. Ruairi: I guess this one is ours. Go. He says to
Kindron and Vendetta.
Kindron nods as he and Vendetta go to the next level. They
finally reach the top, with Vinette standing in the throne room.
Lightning crackles around her, as she summons her familiar,
Byako. Immediately, Sif appears behind V, knowing that this was
his moment.
Vinette: So... You finally made it. I assume your friends are
fighting my generals? How annoying, but I suspected that's what
they'd do. She says as she summoned Byako.
Sif: We meet again! He says to Byako excitedly. Out of everyone
he's fought over the years, Byako was the only one that was a
true challenge to him and on his level besides a full size
dragon. Sif looks to Byako.
Byako: So we do this dance again? He says as he gets ready. He
and Sif both attack each other, knocking each other through the
wall, and taking their fight outside. As the ceiling crumbles
from Byako and Sif's fight, the rain pours down on the throne
with no roof to cover them as the two not only tear at each
other, but blast each other with lightning.
As Sif and Byako knock down the roof, Vinette looks to Kindron
and Vendetta. Vinette: So... Now it's just us. And hopefully my
generals will at least manage to kill a few of your friends. She
says, looking at them as she summons her sword, a katana infused
with dark arts.
Kindron: I wouldn't count on it. They're all strong in their own
right. He say as he draws his sword, getting ready.
Vendetta: Give it up Vinette... This war is over. You will lose.
She says as she takes her sword out.
As the rain falls around them, Vinette shines with lightning, as
does Vendetta, while Kindron removes his eye patch to reveal his
Sharingan eye. Since Vinette was even more powerful than the
last time they met, Kindron and Vendetta weren't about to hold
back.
Vinette: This time, I will kill you both. You killed my brother,
and now I will kill you and your friends.
Kindron: Your brother was going to murder innocent people. He
sealed his own fate, as have you. He says as he readies to
attack.
Kindron and Vendetta move in and attack, attacking from two
sides as they try to slash Vinette. However, Vinette moves back
and forth, blocking their blades as they attack. Vinette moves
extremely fast, enough that even Kindron was having trouble
keeping up with her, and the three warriors clash blades as
Vinette takes on Vendetta and Kindron.
The fight goes on for a while before Kindron and Vendetta try
and blast Vinette with earth and lightning power (used from
their demi-god elements). Since the rain was pouring down,
Kindron couldn't use his flames effectively, so he was forced to
rely on his earth manipulation. Kindron and Vendetta attempt to
blast Vinette, but Vinette uses dark arts to create a barrier
around herself, and blasts Kindron and Vendetta back with an
attack art. Even though Kindron knew dark arts, he was still
vulnerable to Vinette's dark arts due to the fact that Vinette
had specifically trained in corrupted darkness dark arts to
fight Kindron's dark arts. However, it wasn't just dark arts, as
Vinette was also glowing with ice manipulation as she blasted
Kindron and Vendetta as they recovered. Kindron barely manages
to use his Mangekyo Sharingan to warp away the attack, while
Vendetta barely manages to get a lightning wall up in front of
her to block the attack.
Kindron: She has ice power now? How did she get that? He says to
Vendetta.
Vendetta: Wind manipulation maybe? Camira can do it. She says,
trying to analyze Vinette's style.
Vinette: I could do it that way... But no. The power I use is
not from wind. She manages to move by Kindron and Vendetta,
slashing them both multiple times while they were trying to
figure out what power she was talking about, a tactic Vinette
meant to intentionally throw them off.
Kindron and Vendetta jump back, regenerating. They couldn't help
but wonder what this jump in abilities meant, as Vinette had not
been anywhere near this ability to gain this kind of speed and
power through training alone. Kindron and Vendetta reorient
themselves but realize their powers are no longer working.
Kindron: My elemental abilities... and my darkness aura... He
says, realizing his power wasn't activating.
Vendetta: How... How did she do that.
Kindron: The slashes... I know this feeling. He says as he
recalls his last fight with Rei.
Vinette: That's right... I win. My brother's power will be the
one to finish you.
Suddenly, it clicks how Vinette's powers had jumped, as it was
now obvious she'd absorbed Rei's abilities into her own. That
explained why she had ice abilities and Rei's Star Formula that
could put seals on people through physical attacks to negate
their power.
Kindron: Then we do this the hard way. Kindron says as he moves
in to attack. Vendetta and Kindron take their swords, relying on
the power of their swords since they couldn't use their own
energy as long as Vinette had the Star Formula seals active from
her previous attack. Even though the attacks had regenerated,
the marks were still placed, so Kindron and Vendetta would have
to wear Vinette down before the Star Formula seals would break.
Kindron and Vendetta attack from both sides, and try to use
their weapon's energy to strike Vinette, who blocks with dark
arts. She moves and uses dark arts, blasting both Kindron and
Vendetta with spearing darkness projectiles. Though Kindron and
Vendetta hold their swords up to protect their vitals, the
attacks still hit them, temporarily negating their regeneration.
Kindron and Vendetta get up, bleeding as they hold their swords
ready again.
Vinette: As I said... This fight is over. She says as she gets
ready to attack. However, Kindron and Vendetta move side by
side, and go into attack from the front in a combined attack.
Vinette, ready to block, holds up her sword. However, Kindron
and Vendetta's combined attack seems to slash through Vinette's
sword and slash her across the chest, knocking her back. She
falls to the ground for a moment, coughing up blood.
Kindron: We don't need our powers to fight you. As long as we
fight together, you can't win. He says to Vinette.
Vinette, regenerating in a burst of lightning, gets up and
scoffs at Kindron while she uses a dark art to form a full
length katana blade from her sword using darkness (as half of
her sword blade now laid on the ground after Kindron and
Vendetta cut through the sword). Vinette: You both make me sick.
You think friendship will overcome it all, but you're wrong! She
says as she attacks again. Kindron and Vendetta look to each
other for a moment, silently making their plan. After years of
fighting side by side, the two could read each other without a
word.
The two fight using a new strategy, and instead of fighting from
two sides, fight side by side as one attacks, and the other
defends. Since Kindron was better at predicting opponents, he
defended Vinette's attacks, and while Vinette was locked with
his blade, Vendetta attacked. While it was still very difficult
to hit Vinette as she moved to block their attacks, Vendetta's
attacks did start landing on Vinette with both Kindron and
Vendetta attacking from the front instead of from both sides. By
combining their strategies, they started breaking through
Vinette's defenses, landing slashes. While Vinette was
regenerating the slashes, she was still taking damage. However,
Kindron and Vendetta were taking slashes too, and a few of
Vinette's attacks do land as they fight, canceling their
regeneration using dark arts with each sword slash to stack onto
how long the first dark art Vinette used would stop their
regeneration.
After what seemed like hours, Kindron and Vendetta were both
starting to wear down without their abilities and without their
regeneration. The two were also starting to wear down Vinette
though, and she was having trouble standing, as her regeneration
was starting to fail.
As Vinette attacks again, Kindron and Vendetta attack one last
time, both attacking in an X pattern using their swords.
Concentrating their sword's energies, they slash once again
through Vinette's dark energy of her sword, as her energy was
weak. Once the attack landed, Vinette fell back again, and fell
to the ground. This attack didn't regenerate like the others, as
Vinette's energy finally gave out. The Star Formulas on Kindron
and Vendetta fail, and the two regain their energy.
Vinette: I won't go down like this... I will kill you! She says
angrily, though deep down, she knew this fight was already over.
Kindron: Give up. You don't have to fight anymore.
Vinette: If I die... I die as a warrior! She says as she goes to
slash Kindron and Vendetta one last time, but Kindron and
Vendetta manage to both land their attack on Vinette as she
attacks, and she falls to the ground, with both Kindron and
Vendetta having landed fatal slashes on Vinette. Vinette coughs
up blood, spitting as she tries to talk, though with her lungs
now filling up with fluid, she was having trouble breathing.
Vinette: Damn you... This was supposed... to be... my revenge...
Kindron: You brought this on yourself. How many innocent people
did you kill? How many suffered because of your war on the
world? He says to Vinette.
Vendetta: You chose this path of destruction. You and your
brother chose to stand against Olympus. Killing my father was
unforgivable. Bastard as he was... He was still my father. She
says to Vinette. You didn't have to turn out like this. I know
Ragnorok made you to fight us, but you didn't have to follow
that path. I would have helped you. She says to Vinette.
Vinette chuckles to herself weakly. Vinette: Chose? No... I
never chose this path... I was betrayed by Ragnorok, hunted down
by Special Forces, and then left to die. Hyperion was the only
one that cared at all about me.
Vendetta looks to Vinette, a sudden wave of regret hitting her.
She knew Vinette was made to kill, but she never met Vinette
much before she joined Hyperion. Finding out about her past
suddenly made her regret the path they'd taken to kill her.
Kindron: We would have helped you. If we'd been there, we could
have helped you. He says to Vinette. Though he wasn't feeling as
much regret as Vendetta was, he was still trying to justify in
his mind that they did the right thing taking down Vinette.
Vinette chuckles to herself again weakly. Vinette: And where
were you when I needed that help? She says to them, showing that
she never wanted to go down the path she did, but because it was
the only path she had, she had given up on trying to do the
"right" thing. However, Vendetta was hit harder as Vinette's
words hit her brought back the memory of Nightbane's last words,
which were almost the same. After defeating Nightbane, Vendetta
had told Nightbane that humans weren't as bad as he thought, and
after a short discussion as Nightbane was dying, he asked
Vendetta where she was when he needed to hear her words. This
time, it was clear the words hit twice as hard this time as
Vendetta, for the first time in a long time, started to tear up
at the thought that she had failed Vinette, just as she had
failed Nightbane.
Vendetta and Kindron were snapped out of their thoughts when
they saw a giant shadow overtop of them. Realizing something big
was above them, a large meteor was coming down, as it appeared
to have been summoned by magic. The two looked up at it, in
shock of how big it must be to cast a shadow on Olympus.
Kindron: What's going on? That's a meteor, bigger than the one
Madara dropped on us! He says, for the first time, genuinely
worried.
Vinette: Heh... It's finally time... I had our mages ready it to
destroy Olympus if I lost... She says. I win... She says before
finally succumbing to her injuries and dying.
Kindron: I knew she'd have a backup plan... Damnit! He says
angrily. Everyone's still fighting below... I don't think
everyone will make it out before it strikes. He says,
desperately thinking.
However, Vendetta was frozen in her own thoughts, not even
processing the meteor.
Kindron thinks for a moment. Kindron: I have no choice... I'll
have to destroy it myself. He says, putting his eyepatch back
on. Kindron's words seemed to snap Vendetta out of her thoughts,
and she looks to Kindron.
Vendetta: You can't stop that by yourself! She says.
Kindron: I'm going to pour every ounce of energy I have into
it... I'm going to shatter it with the power of darkness. It's
all I can do. Get as many people out as you can! If nothing
else, I'll at least delay it long enough.
Vendetta: But you'll die! I'm going to help! She says as she
gets up.
Kindron puts her hand on Vendetta's shoulder. Kindron: No. This
is something only I can do. I suspect this will take every ounce
of energy I have left and more. I don't think I'll be able to
stop it entirely, but I can buy enough time for you to evacuate
everyone. He says as he walks forward, summoning his demon
wings.
Vendetta runs over and hugs him. Vendetta: You can't save
everyone! It's not possible! She says, her emotions clearly
overwhelming her.
Kindron: No... It's necessary. He says simply as he hugs her
back.
Vendetta: What am I supposed to do if you die? She says weakly.
Kindron: Continue on. You've always been the best of us
Vendetta... You've inspired so many. Without you, I don't think
I would have been able to bring everyone together the way you
have. You've made me a better person, and you've made Raven a
better person just by helping us through the trials of our
lives. But now you're going to have to figure out how to fight
without me... Because I suspect that my time has come. He says
before freeing himself from Vendetta, who didn't want to let him
go, knowing that it would likely be the last time she got to see
her cousin alive.
Kindron smiles and pats V's shoulder, before he looks up and
flies off.
Vendetta, still overcome, goes to the lower levels to try and
evacuate Olympus.
Meanwhile, Kindron flies up to the meteor, and once close to it,
he starts releasing his darkness aura, removing his restraint.
He pours all of his power into stopping the meteor, blasting it
with his aura and absorbing as much as he could with his earth
manipulation to regenerate some of his energy. However, the
effort was taking more energy than Kindron was gaining, and with
the meteor still moving toward impact with Olympus, Kindron had
to focus all of his energy into breaking apart the meteor. After
putting all of his energy into crusing the meteor, the meteor
starts to break apart, into chunks, which fall farther away and
seem to harmlessly strike the ground. As Kindron starts to lose
conscious due to having to also put in his life force into
breaking the meteor, he pushes and releases all of the last of
his aura at once, releasing a massive wave of gravity. Since
Kindron and never reached his full power in this timeline,
Kindron only managed to tap into his full power at this moment,
pouring his entire supply of energy into destroying the meteor.
Once the full gravity wave destroyed it, the meteor broke apart
into small enough pieces that it started to burn up from how hot
the meteor was, and exploded in a burst of kinetic energy into
pieces as Kindron was victorious in destroying it. Kindron, now
out of energy and life force, falls back down to the ground from
his point in the sky, having given all the physical force,
energy and life force he had to stop the meteor. Just before
losing consciousness though, Kindron managed to say one last
thing, more to himself. Kindron: I guess this it... Death comes
for me next. But at least... They'll all live. He says with a
smile as he loses consciousness. He falls to the ground, and
impacts the ground near Olympus.
It didn't take long before Akule and Shamala found Kindron, and
they go to check him. However, it was obvious Kindron was dead,
no longer having any energy left.
Shamala falls to her knees, unable to hold back tears, as Akule
looks to Kindron. Akule: Curses... I wasn't fast enough... I'm
sorry my friend. He says, unable to hold back his emotions as he
had failed to stop the mages from summoning the meteor in time.
Soon, Vendetta comes and finds the group. When she sees Kindron,
she falls to her knees, unable to hold back her emotions.
It didn't take long before others started appearing, seeing that
Kindron had given his life to save Olympus.
A few years later.
Arthur: And that's why your aunt doesn't like talking about it.
He says to Kendrix, the son of Kindron and Shamala, who was
working with Arthur. Arthur was running Olympus since it was
Vendetta's day off. Since Vendetta and Arthur were working
together to rebuild after the incident with Hyperion still, the
two had their own roles, where Arthur would run the political
stuff, while Vendetta handled running the realm of the gods.
Kendrix: I see. I take it that's why Aunt V drinks...
Arthur: Actually... That's your godfather, Merlin's fault. He
says jokingly.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Gateway, Gateway Kindron was
watching the events that led to this point from the Gateway. As
he does, two voices of his superiors appear, a male and female
voice Gateway Kindron knew pretty well.
Female Voice: Is this what you were looking for?
Gateway Kindron: It is. It answers my question. He says sadly.
Male Voice: Why does it matter what Vendetta asked you?
Gateway Kindron: Because it got me curious... If she had been
born at the same time, what would have changed. Now I have my
answer. He says as he gets up. It's also the perfect place to
have her go.
Male Voice: We already decided we didn't want to send her to any
other timelines... We're not exactly eager to hear her complain
about it.
Gateway Kindron: Well... We have to take action to protect the
timeline against Malice. And... I fear that Vendetta is going to
need a little extra help. I know you're more interested in my
brother, but Vendetta and her friends are the only ones that are
going to be able to stop Malice in that timeline, unless you
allow me to go and help them.
Female Voice: You realize this is a problem right? This could
cause problems by revealing more people to this place.
Gateway Kindron: I know... But he forced our hand by revealing
you to V. And it seems that my other self in that timeline may
try and take over this place as well... He says with a sigh.
Though it wasn't obvious who "he" was, it was obvious that they
had their own enemies.
Female Voice: We knew your alternate timeline self wouldn't
change so easily...
Gateway: I suppose so... He says with a sigh. I'm gonna go get
things ready. And pray that this goes how you say it will. He
says as he uses his staff to walk through the Gateway.
