Alicia: That's great. I know a place where they do all kinds of
races from friendly ones to the most competitive. There are even
races that seem right out of games such as Mario Kart or Sega
All Stars Races... well, minus items like the blue shell.

Jack: Ah don't worry... When it comes to races. I do things fair
and square. I wouldn't be caught dead cheating using an item to
destroy an opponent's bike. That would just be rude. He says the
last part jokingly.

Alicia: True. I only play dirty when others start it...
depending on the dirty trick and how limited my patience is. But
other than that, I'm not a fan of trickery... which is ironic
due to my nature.

Jack continues to help, mostly just tightening up everything so
nothing would come loose. He chuckles at the comment about
Melanie's dad spending time with his. Jack: My dad was pretty
traditional in a lot of ways. He was pretty basic and he was
pretty strict about values. "Live honorably and by example, and
always respect women" were his two main mottos in life.

Alicia: I... have my friends for that kind of stuff. Mel is the
caring mother, Nigel is the one with the "dad jokes", Ethan is
the silent type and Liz... well, she's still sort of a mystery
to me. I'm more of the rebellious street bike kid... Nigel's
words, not mine.
Alicia doesn't want to even talk about it but it's clear that
she views her friends in the castle as her true family instead
of her blood family. She still has mixed feelings for her
brother since he does his own thing. On the other hand, she
deeply despise her parents, her mother especially for constantly
making her life a living hell to the point of her changing her
name.

Jack: It's good you got friends that are like family though. I
admit that I'm kind of jealous. I never had many people in my
life. The closest thing to friends or family I had after my mom
and dad were killed by Sariel's people were my mentors in the
fight club I grew up in. And they were just teaching me how to
not get killed in the ring.
