Re: RP: The Eye of Death Lives Again

Millia: Kindron was sorta like you guys at first... He didn't
like being here, and he didn't really like my uncle's methods.
But eventually, he and Shamala became friends. He knew what it
was like to be an outcast. He was pretty awesome at pretty much
everything he did. He didn't start out as powerful as he got
when you first met him, and back then he was just like any other
warrior.
Akule: Kindron was a skilled warrior, one with many regrets when
I met him, but he always helped others in his own way. But while
you and your sisters try to bring out the better sides of
others, Kindron had his own way of helping people. Instead of
outright helping, he'd take on their darkness, no pun intended.
He says the last part jokingly. Like with Millia, he helped her
get revenge, but he was the one that did all the killing. When
people hated Shamala for what she was, Kindron showed them the
power of his aura, and drew the hatred of the shamans in place
of Shamala. It was the only way he knew how to help others, and
was why he got so many to hate him while protecting others. If
it hadn't been for him, Millia and most of the world wouldn't be
here. He helped a lot of people, and made even more people hate
him for how he always handled things. But he made a lot of
friends during the time Millia traveled with him.
Millia leans back against the tree, looking up at the sky.
Millia: I miss those days... Me, Kindron, Shamala, and our small
group of friends hanging out. I traveled the world with Kindron
and Shamala... Even though I was never much of a fan of Shamala.
She then stands up straight, taking out her sword, which
radiated powerful divine darkness. The darkness seemed to have
Kindron's purifying darkness, but also had Morrighan's godly
darkness power as well enhancing the power Kindron put into the
blade. This sword... Used to belong to Kindron. After I finished
training with him, he gave me the sword. That was when he went
on to get his soul reaver sword. This was the sword that Kindron
used to kill Balor, and what he used to kill Malice the second
time he appeared. This was the first sword he ever used, and is
the only thing I have left of him to honor his memory. She says
the last part sadly.

V couldn't help but smile sadly. Between the conversation she
had with Kindron in her other dream and hearing it from the two
who actually treated him like a person, she couldn't help but be
happy for him. Her time with her Underworld cousin may be short
but she didn't regret meeting him at all, she just wish that she
got to spend more time with him.
V: For what it's worth, I'm just happy that you two helped made
his life better... both through the good and the bad.

Akule: I just wish we could have done more... And perhaps
stopped him and Shamala before they got out of control after
they foresook their humanity. If I'd stepped in sooner, perhaps
they both would have realized what they were doing.
Millia: Yeah... We wish we could have stopped them sooner. But
at least we did manage to keep him from losing it completely.
She says, putting her sword away. I wish I'd been stronger...
Maybe if I had, things wouldn't have gone the way they did.

V: Trust me, I know that feeling all too well. Sometimes
things... happen.
She says with a slight frown, remembering the conversation she
had with him about the things Kindron wasn't proud of along with
what led to the fight between him and Shamala. Yet, despite
hearing how he started it, she couldn't help but feel so small
and helpless like she was when she was a child. Though, she
still couldn't help but wonder what things would be like if she
was born around the time that Kindron and Shamala were around.
Could she really help save them from going down that path? Or
would she really end up like them?
V: I really don't want to ask this but I need to know if I even
have a sliver of a chance to even put a dent on that mudak. What
was Balor's beef with this place and you guys? I know that he
hates Kindron but he seemed pretty trigger happy on killing you
guys.

Millia: Hates Kindron? No. You misunderstand Balor... He never
hated Kindron. Kindron was the only one who could compete with
him. Balor only lived for a good challenge. Kindron was that
challenge, and Balor considered Kindron to be a kindred spirit
because they were both warriors seeking to grow and fight strong
opponents. To Balor, the fact that Kindron was so tough and
could actually match him made him the only person that Balor
even cared about, and Balor felt Kindron was the only one that
ever truly understood him. The rest of us... We were basically
insects he couldn't care less about. He is probably only
attacking us on Malice's orders when it comes to attacking us...
Malice doesn't like us because we actively go against him every
time he's appeared. The first time Kindron and my uncle beat
him, and the second time, Kindron and Shamala beat him together
with the help of Morrighan and Neamhein. Malice probably sees
the land of Shamans as active threats to him.
Akule: Balor is strong. Of that there is no doubt. But, with our
help, you can beat him without a doubt, assuming that he doesn't
have some super godly power we don't know about. You're actually
stronger than Kindron was when he first fought Balor, so I'm
confident you'll do far better than we would. But with all of us
working together, we can win. It's Malice that worries me.
Malice is not going to sit down if he knows we are working with
you. I doubt he's going to make the same mistakes
underestimating us he has in the past. And I do not know who
else he has brought with him.

V: There goes for me hoping that I would be ignored. As for
Balor, if what you're saying is true then I will make sure that
he will get a special ass kicking, especially for that crap he
pulled on me and the others.

Akule: Just don't underestimate him. If the Eye of Death is
stronger, then the Malicians might be stronger too with Malice's
return. He tore through Kindron and Millia's friends last time.
I don't want to see him do the same to your group. You are
strong, but he does have abilities that make him quite dangerous
to even the toughest of warriors.
Somewhere in the distance, out of listening distance, Goten, Vin
and Dark Vin were looking around, frustrated. They couldn't be
heard by V, Akule and Millia since they were too far away.
Dark Vin: This is SO STUPID! She says, stomping her feet which
scares some of the mongooses away.
Goten sighs as he sits next to Ranga, his frustation was strong
enough that his Sharingan almost flickered back to red eyes for
a moment. Goten: This feels like a wild goose chase... We
haven't even found one white tail yet...
Vin: I'll go into town and ask someone... I don't want to sit
here and wait for V to come back only to tell her we have
nothing. She says as she heads to the nearby town.
Almost as though he could see the group, Akule sighs. Akule:
They're in worse shape than I thought... At this rate, we're not
going to be beating Malice anytime soon... He says to himself,
though V would probably be able to hear Akule.
(Just a quick update on what is going on with Goten, Vin and
Dark Vin.)

((This seem like a perfect time as any:

V wasn't sure what was going on until she heard Chibiabos
sighing, not caring if the shamans can hear him. Even he sounds
a little frustrated.
Chibiabos: "Just when I was hoping that things would at least
give us a break. We can fight a swarm of matter eating tech bugs
but we can't find one animal?"
V: In Russian: F*ck my life...
With that, V begin to use her magicules along with her zapper
abilities to try to do a quick scout around the area, hoping
that she can find at least one white tailed black mongoose.

Once V leaves, Millia watches V, and then turns to Akule.
Millia: We knew this wouldn't be easy. But Kindron's legacy
rests on them. We need to figure out how to get them ready...
Their emotional states won't last against Malice at this rate.
Akule: I know... It's hard enough for them to have the weight of
the world on them, but now they have to deal with Malice on top
of the problems they already have. It's unfair that such good
young people have been broken by this world's cruel life... He
says sadly.
Once Dark Vin notices V using her zapper abilities, she sighs.
Dark Vin: Great... We can't even do one thing we were supposed
to do.
Vin goes into the village, asking the people about the tails.
She finds a vendor, which sells white tails from mongooses.
Looking somewhat surprised, she looks to the seller. Vin: These
are supposed to be rare, how do you have so many? Do you know
where we can find these?
Seller: No idea... Most people just bleach the tails white in
all honesty... I've never seen a real white tale, despite the
rumors.
Vin: Wait... So these are fake? She says, looking at them.
Seller: They are. They're sold as good luck charms. They're
pretty popular in this area among tourists. People just search
for them and then give up and come here. I've never seen a real
white tail, and only experts like us can bleach them without
damaging them.
Vin: Screw it... Give me four. She says with a sigh. It's worth
a shot.

After calming down a bit, Chibiabos also tries to help V find
the animal they need by amplifying V's senses to his level. V
continue to search around, hoping that Veldora's teachings can
help her.
