Ramiris: It is actually because of you that I met Vin. She says
to V. Some of our fairies who use seer type magic saw the future
before that other Zeus arrived. They said that you and Vin would
be the ones to stand against the evils of this world. And part
of that depended on how young Vin influenced you, for better or
worse. They saw two major outcomes. One was Vin becoming a
beacon of light, and that light would help shine light on your
path through the dark. The other was Vin becoming a beacon of
darkness. Whether it was by death or something else, her
influence would drive you down into darkness as well. This was
about the time we had visions of the other Zeus taking over. So,
I sought out young Vin and trained her. As a rule, I only teach
fairy abilities to those pure of heart, which I don't think
anyone will argue that Vin has. The reason is that when fallen
fairies are made in our particular fairy kingdom, they oppose
the originals. However, in my kingdom, our fairies and fallen
fairies act as rivals, and the two sides get stronger together
by fighting each other. The only way that it tolerable is that
most of the pure-hearted fairies don't have evil fairies that
become pure evil and try to do things like take over the world.
But it was also the other Zeus... It was prophesied that the
only way you would survive is if you and Vin both got stronger
as the two of you were the world's only true hope of stopping
Zeus, even more than his sons. Our Zeus, according to older
fairies, had a thing for fairy women, and we were scared to see
such an evil version of Zeus and what tendencies he'd have
toward our race. So I opted to help Vin prepare for what was to
come. She wanted a power that was not like yours so she could
find her own path, and I offered her the power of a fairy and
offered to teach her sylph magic and the magic of lightning
sprites. And her adaptibility and creativity even created a new
kind of fairy, a storm sprite.
Vin: Wait... So is that why dark me is so... damn clumsy and
airheaded if it manifests dark tendencies and stuff? She asks
Ramiris curiously.
Ramiris: The Fairy Mirror reflects the parts of you that you try
to hide. For you, Vin, you don't have any violent tendencies
other than your berserker power, which you have learned to
control through converting it into ki so it isn't something you
suppress anymore... But because you try to hide your more
childlike side, and act more mature so people will see you as an
equal to V and not see how young you are, so that is the part of
your personality that you specifically suppress. My guess is
that Dark Vin inhabits that more childlike side.
Dark Vin glares at Vin. Dark Vin: So it IS your fault I'm like
that! She says to Vin.

V: That also explains why you two are always fighting,
especially when I first met Dark Vin and there was nearly a
brawl on my shoulder.
Either way, V was super glad that Vin was her little beacon of
hope in a way. Hell, V would probably end up like most of her
insane half siblings if it weren't for Vin showing up.

Ramiris: That is possible. Though it could also be the fact that
usually the other halves don't want to acknowledge the sides of
themselves that are created through the mirror. I suspect that's
why many other sides end up fighting... It does appear to be a
major part of what causes conflicts with my counterpart. She
says the last part with a shrug.

Ramiris: She and I agreed it would be a really bad idea for her
to be in Malice's presence. My counterpart has a bit of an
unstable personality at times, and Malice's presence would
amplify that instability because it's what she tries to
suppress. We agreed it wouldn't work well if we gave Malice
someone to influence. Plus... These days she rarely leaves her
labyrinth anyway. Unfortunately, she and I don't work as well
together as Vin and her counterpart do... Trying to convince my
other half to do something like a fusion would probably never
happen. They may fight, but Vin and her counterpart get along
better than any other pair of fairies and fallen fairies I've
seen.
Goten: They fight all the time though.
Ramiris: But they work together despite that. Most fairies and
fallen fairies refuse to work together.

Chibiabos: "That you can thank Vendetta for. Not only she makes
sure that the two don't kill each other, but it's also because
of Vendetta in general that the two manage to mostly put aside
their differences. Their love for Vendetta is one of the few
reasons the two work well together since she is basically their
older sister."
