Shamala: It's not a problem. Malice is as much a threat to me
and Black Sun as he is to you... Even more so since he's the god
that started Hyperion, and he's been making them stronger since
his return. She says in response to Chibiabos. Oh... Before I
forget. Do NOT under any circumstances take Balor's offer for
power. That energy he uses destroys people from within. Even
Kindron couldn't use the techniques he uses without ruining his
body in the process. That was part of the reason he developed
his dark aura skills was so he wouldn't need those powers. I
suggest you work on your own techniques to counter Balor's. She
says before turning to an eagle and flying away.

V watch Shamala fly off.
V: I didn't take his offer before. I'm not stupid to try to take
it in the future. That's like... basically taking any kind of
offer from Craigslist to be honest.
Chibiabos: "Shamala's right on you joining the others. We can
enjoy some of the good things in life before we face the chaotic
events that are about to unfold."
V: True. It just gives me more of a reason to keep on fighting.
Chibiabos: "I know. You're stronger than you realize. You and
Vinette. But I need you to know that you're never alone, even
when you think so. Besides, if the likes of Vobu and Shamala
believe in you children, then it sure as hell mean something."
V: You have a point there. Let's just focus on killing this
bastard so he doesn't make things worse. We also got a crap ton
pile of problems that we need to go through. This is just
another delay that is now my responsibility to deal with.
With a sigh, V takes off again and start to head back to where
the other are. By the speed she's going at the moment, it
shouldn't take her long.

At the place where they were talking earlier, Vin and the others
are still there, discussing things. Nothing important overall,
but mostly just talking about other things at this point.

seems that Vin and Dark Vin had unfused, which was strange since
the time limit for the fusion earrings hadn't been up yet.

Goten: We have sort of a plan for preparing for Malice... But we
were waiting for you to come back. Akule and Millia are
confident that they can develop charms that will allow us to
utilize our divine state abilities when we're around Malice.
Millia: It will be difficult, but Uncle and I are going to have
to adapt some charms... And don't worry... We're not gonna make
you hunt for anything. It seems that ship has sailed and sunk.
She says the last part sarcastically.

Millia: There's really not much to it. Uncle and I are going to
work on the charms as much as we can. Merlin agreed to help us
out so he'll be sticking around. Merlin's a master magic user,
and he knows how the shaman charms work. Hopefully, some
tweaking of the design of the charms might work to counter
Malice's energy unbalancement.
Merlin: I can't guarantee it will work, but it's the best shot
we have. He says with a shrug.

Ramiris: The good thing about fighting Malice, is that he's
limited by the body that he's incarnated in... Something Death
and Toranoraos did to limit what he could do to the living
world. From what I could tell, he's in a death wraith body mixed
with demonic power.
Alathen: I know exactly what body he's in... It's a mix of Seiji
and death wraith, a powerful hybrid created by my brother. He
used Malice's energy to bond the two powers together. It does
grant him a power of darkness far stronger than most darkness
users, but he does still have the weaknesses of the body. A
friend and I beat that body before when it was in my brother's
hands. It's far more powerful in Malice's, but his weaknesses
should still be the same. Blessed sea salt and iron should help
you against him. Maybe some holy power too.
Vin: Yeah... Turns out we know far more about Malice now than we
did before thanks to Queen Ramiris and Alathen... And partially
thanks to Merlin. She says to V.

V: Okay, so there's still some hope in order to beat him. Though
I assume our mental states are still a thing to worry about at
