Millia: I said the same thing... It would have been easier if
you know what the test was about.
Vin: So it WAS a sham all along! She says, annoyed, to Millia
and Akule.
Akule sighs as he turns to V. Akule: Malice's power isn't just
physical power. In order to defeat him, the training you needed
wasn't physical. You needed to build your mind. That was the
point of this training. I wanted to test your mental states,
because only by overcoming Malice's evil presence with strength
of will was going to help you. If you knew what I was trying to
do, you would have been patient and just went with it, and the
training wouldn't have worked to push your mental states. I
wanted you to overcome your emotional states, which we got
interrupted before we finished... He says the last part with a
sigh. This was to test you mentally. And sadly, none of you are
anywhere near ready to face Malice. And that includes us. He
says, including himself and Millia. But on the positive side...
The herbs you got will at least help us with further training.
He says jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.
Shamala walks up to the group. Shamala: Teacher... You haven't
changed at all. She says to Akule. You tried the same test on
Kindron.
Millia: Actually... It didn't work this time because the fairy
girl figured out most of what was going on... Unlike Kindron who
was pretty stupid back then. She says, looking over at Vin. You
don't realize it, but you had it figured out all along. You
think you can't compete with your sister, but you're far smarter
and stronger than you give yourself credit for.
Ramiris smiles and chuckles. Ramiris: I tell her that all the
time.
Merlin laughs to himself. Merlin: Damn I missed this... It feels
good to hang out with old friends again. He says cheerfully as
he goes over to Akule and Millia.
Meanwhile, Fomoire stands with Vobu. Vobu: So... You should go
and introduce yourself.
Fomoire turns to Vobu. Fomoire: It's better they forget I was
here... The less people who know about me, the better. I will
keep protecting V from the shadows as I have been. That's what I
do best.
Vobu: Well... I promise I won't tell them. Even though I feel
like I should. Only because I know what danger it will be if
your identity gets out. He says to Fomoire. But I still think
Kindron would have wanted you to interact and join the group. I
think that's why he gave you your task if he ever died.
Regardless of what's happened in the past, I think he wanted you
to find a place of your own to belong.

V: Okay, so now what? Not only this mental training thing isn't
going to work anymore, but now the other problem the others and
I had to deal with the whole literal world war approaching
thing... it now got cranked up to an 11 since the victim of the
mudak who murdered her is now alive and on Malice's side. So
that terrifying destruction version of myself is probably going
to blow a f*cking fuse to the point of her barging in this world
and slaughter everybody!

Alternate Zoe walks over, and hearing V's words, goes over to
Akule. He yanks on his shoulder. Alternate Zoe: Yeah... About
that... What the literal hell is my Aunt Vin and Goten doing
here?! They're supposed to be dead and now some evil deity is
yanking them around like dogs on a chain?! She says angrily,
clearly upset about what happened.
Akule: I don't know! He says frantically as Zoe starts shaking
him. I've never met the woman before or the other ninja boy. He
moves Zoe's hand off his shoulder. Malice has the power to
resurrect people, and he has people from all over the multiverse
allied with him. If he resurrected your aunt and friend, then
they must have been working for Malice. That's the only reason
he offers life to people. He says to Alternate Zoe.
Alternate Zoe: Bullsh*t. My aunt is a warrior who would never
take a cheat method to serve someone else. Goten too. He was a
warrior who valued putting his own work into his combat so that
he could take pride in his skills. They would never work for
someone like this Malice guy.
Ranga comes over, falling to the ground, due to his injuries as
he sits next to V. Merlin, realizing Ranga's condition, goes
over and starts healing him. Merlin: Damn buddy... You don't
look so good...
Ranga: That other me was strong... Stronger than me. It was all
I could do to not get killed by him.
Vobu and Fomoire come over and look to V. Fomoire: There is a
chance we can use this to our advantage... If we know that the
other universe's Vin is still alive, we can use that as a
bargaining chip. It's possible that we can use it to buy time.
If you beat Malice, the other Vin and Goten are free right? Then
they can return home, and their family reunites. Not only would
the other V be thankful to you for helping catch her sister's
killer, but if your actions reunite her with her sister alive,
then she'll have a debt to you that can never be paid. He says
to V.
Vobu: I agree... But we have to handle this carefully. If the
other V finds out before we kill Malice, then chances are that
Super World War will happen much sooner than it should... And
I'm pretty sure even Malice doesn't want that given how quickly
he ran away when this other Zoe recognized her.

V's agitated expression slightly changed to worry when she
noticed Ragna in bad condition. She kneeled down despite how
sore her body is to comfort Ragna as Merlin heals him by softly
petting his head. V listen to Vobu and Fomoire but she still
feel uneasy. To be honest, it sound like a easier said than done
ordeal. She decide to keep her mouth shut for now and hopefully
someone will sprout some ideas that she can actually work with.
She needs a drink.
Chibiabos: "In the meantime, we got days left before they come
back and try to rip our spines out. I know your previous ideas
are out of the picture but is there any other methods that's
effective?"

Vin: Jeez... Are you okay Ranga? She says going over to him.
Ramiris goes over to Ranga and pets him. Ramiris: You fought
admirably. I'm sure Veldora would be proud. She says to Ranga.
Akule: Now... We can only try to train you another way. I'm
sorry to say, but training your mental state is the only way
you're going to have a chance to stop Malice. He says to V's
group. Our only luck is that this other girl seems to have made
Malice hesitate in his plan. He's not going to attack again
until he figures out how to handle this where he and his group
can come out on top. And that won't be something he figures out
easily. So we should hopefully have time. He says to try and
comfort V.
Millia: Yeah... You thought that before and Malice ambushed us.
She says to Akule.
Shamala stands silently with the group, not saying anything as
she finds a rock to sit down on.
Alternate Zoe sighs and tries to collect herself. Alternate Zoe:
I need to leave... I'll come up with a plan when I can think
straight. It's taking everything I have to not just bring my
family here and kill everyone... I'm starting to think my aunt
was right about how I should have handled this. I should have
just brought Black Sun and killed anyone in my path. She says
before teleporting away in a burst of dark flames, clearly
struggling emotionally.
Merlin: Don't worry. Kindron beat Malice twice before, you guys
will send him packing again. Once you're strong enough to resist
his voice, you'll win. He says confidently to V's group after
healing Ranga.

Once she see that Ragna and the others are alright (physically
at least), V silently gets up.
V: I need a minute alone.
With that, V takes off from where she is and flies off
somewhere. She will be back to continue her mission. She has to.
She just need some time alone. She doesn't know if it was
because of Malice's influence or the situation in general. One
way or another, she was probably close to exploding figurately
and probably literally due to everything that has happened.

Vin looks over at V as she leaves. Vin: Should one of us go
after her?
Shamala: I will watch her. She says, transforming into an eagle
and following V.
Goten: So... We can barely match up to the help to the point
they weren't scared of us at full strength... How are we gonna
get strong enough to take on the lead baddy?
Akule: The spirits that prophecy told me... In order to stop
Malice, you would have to strengthen your connection to nature
which would strengthen your core connection to yourself. But...
At this point, I don't know what's useful and what's not...
Vobu looks at Akule. Vobu: Actually... What V and Vin learned in
their trip to the future is going to help them with that... A
lot. Vin has already incorporated the sage power from the future
into her style, while it seems V is still learning hers. And
what about you Goten? He says looking over to Goten. Did V teach
you the new sage art?
Goten: I can do it, but I can't hold the form for long. It takes
a lot of concentration.
Vobu: Hmm... Well... You don't have to worry, shaman guy. He
says cheerfully to Akule. He then gets serious. V and Vin will
be far stronger this time than they were in the last timeline.
Malice isn't the only one that knows what happened last time.
Together, they will kill Malice. They've beaten him every
timeline I've been in.

Meanwhile, V was flying faster than she noticed, wanting to go
as far away as possible. She doesn't want to go anywhere near
people since she wants to be alone for the moment. Plus, due to
how the rest of the people treated Kindron and Shamala, she
knows damn well that she would put those jerks in their version
of a hospital, even if she wasn't as upset as she was before.
Normally, she would hang around in the sky but recent events
made her not do so. After what felt like minutes, V finally
descends down to the forest where she ends up in a forest
waterfall once she lands on her feet. After walking a couple of
steps, V sits down on a rock from a southeast view of the
waterfall. At first, she was silent as she tries to calm down
her mind. Then, with tension building again, V place both hands
on her head and let out a loud scream which reflects everything
she on how she felt from what has been happening to her family
to now. The scream only lasted a couple of seconds before she
collapsed on her back and look up at they sky, seeing the birds
flying away from the sound of her scream.

Shamala lands not far away, looking over at V. Shamala: I
haven't heard a scream like that since Kendra was a baby. She
says jokingly to V.

V didn't even bother to sit up. Her eyes turn to Shamala's
location before turning her gaze back up at the sky with a small
sigh. She won't admit it but she is a little surprised that
Shamala came to see her, though she doesn't mind her presence
here either as long as she doesn't try to pull the "suck it up"
lecture on her.
