Alternate London Profile: Quanxi "Q" Tiangou
By: Coolcat207 Date: January 19, 2021, 11:44 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
"The secret to leading a happy life in this world is that
ignorance is a bliss."
~Quanxi during her Suicide Squad days
"I'm not like those vampires you face in Western countries.
There's a major difference between a Kindred and a Kuei-Jin."
"I understand the confusion since they do exist in China but no,
I'm not a Jiang Shi. Those are a completely different breed of
vampires."
"The clan that I was born from... let's just say that subtly is
not one of the clan's strong suits. Their behavior doesn't stray
too far from a Brujah vampire. Even the wisest of elders aren't
immune for the violent impulse. This pendent is the only reason
why I'm not sitting on a large pile of bodies."
"There were a lot of things that I couldn't forgive and forget.
Although my views of humanity somewhat soften due to seeing some
good humans here and there, I will never forgive what ARGUS has
done to me and my comrades. The only thing I regret is not
hacking Waller or Callahan to pieces when I had the chance."
"They are not my clan. They preferred making demons for servants
and see my kind as antithetical for their duties as devils. How
I'm born with their dharma is beyond me yet I simply don't care
for it. As long as they leave me alone, no one will have to
die."
"Q is a lot of things but heartless is not one of them, despite
what she says otherwise. She'll go through literal hell and back
for those she cares about. She even turned down Vicar's offers
since she didn't like the idea of hurting innocent people which
was cranked to an 11 when the bastard tried to kill one of her
friends. You want to stay in one piece? Don't p*ss off the
Chinese demon dog. I saw that woman once cut a sniper bullet in
half when it tried to aim at her skull from hundreds of miles
away. In response, well... you ever got kicked in the nuts?
Well, it's like that but at high speed."
~Jay Mendoza to a Suicide Squad member on Q.

Species:
Dhampir (Chinese)
Height:
5'9
Weight:
Unknown

Quanxi is a tall woman with white hair tied back in a ponytail.
She wears an eye patch over her right eye. When in combat,
Quanxi dons a set of sheathes on her back, holding up to three
swords.
Organization:
Former: Tiangou Gang
Former: ARGUS/Task Force X
Current: None; Freelancer/Runaway
Rank:
Former: Second in Command
Former: Assassin
Birth Clan:
Howl of the Devil Tiger
Generation:
4th Generation
Sect:
Independent
Clan Disciplines:
Shintai Arts, Demon Arts
Powers:
Dhampir Physiology:
~User with this ability either is or can transform into a
dhampir, a vampire/human hybrid, which in most cases has all the
strengths that a normal vampire has without any of the
weaknesses. Blood is still a factor in most cases, either they
need to feed because they will die or they simply are weakened
when they don't feed. Some dhampirs can subsist on either blood
or human food. Whatever the case, just like with vampires, the
quantity of blood a dhampir needs will vary greatly. Their
resistance to sunlight varies as well; some may be weakened by
it, while others are completely immune to its effects.
Physically dhampirs are in top form, having the strengths of a
vampire they are very strong, most do not age and others age
very slowly. There are far less variations in appearance when it
comes to dhampirs because of their human side. Most dhampirs
will look like normal humans, some will be extremely attractive
but there are not many non-humanoid dhampirs out there.
Vampiric Force Manipulation:
~The user of this power possesses and is able to utilize strong
vampiric power. This ability not only grants the user great
strength and control over numerous variations of vampiric
abilities but also allows them to overwhelm weaker vampires as
well as rival that of powerful vampiric entities.
Through this, the user can perform such feats as infusing
weapons with vampiric power, allowing them to transfer blood
and/or life-force to the user, or into projectile weapons that
would continuously drain the target's blood/lifeforce once stuck
in their body, nullifying regeneration and softening them up for
the finishing blow, as well as convert other beings into
vampires without biting them or mixing blood.
Daytime Walking:
~User is a nocturnal creature (typically a vampire) able to
withstand exposure to direct sunlight and be active during the
day. This can be because they are a Dhampir, are endowed with
magic or are unique physically in one way or another.
Blood Consumption:
~The power to gain power from blood and bodily fluids usually by
ingestion.
Blood Absorption:
~The power to absorb blood and utilize it in some way.
Blood Resistance:
~Commonly vampires whom are users of this power; can prevent
their thirst from becoming a 'frenzy' when being in sight or in
contact with blood. This enables them to be more dangerous
because they can use human-like intelligence and strategy rather
than raw strength. On the other hand, some vampires who have
positive sides to humans are usually safer around them and are
capable of becoming their protectors.
Wallcrawling:
~The user can scale walls and ceilings, no matter how rough or
smooth they are. They do not deny gravity, but adhere to
surfaces unaided using various ways. However in order to be
considered true wall-crawling, the user must be able to maintain
balance for long periods of time, compared to Wallrunning where
the energy is only temporary.
Beings with superhuman strength or with super strong and dense
claws could simply dig their fingers or into a surface, then
propelling upward and digging in again, generating the effect of
wall-crawling. In some cases, the user may simply be able to
make use of any handholds they find, no matter how small, to
wall crawl.
Alternatively, the user's body and skin could possess other
adhesive properties in common with certain animal species, such
as the suction pads of a frog. Those with Reptilian Physiology
could have microscopic hair/bristle-like structures on their
hands and feet like a gecko, a trait that is shared with those
with Insect Physiology and Arachnid Physiology. The use of
setae, as well as nanoscale fibers, can allow a user to access
electrostatic attraction forces known as Van der Waals Force to
interact with positive and negative molecular charges to
effectively cling to an object or structure at a molecular
level.
Clan Disciplines:
Beast Shintai:
Cower Before The Beast:
~By staring into an animal's eyes and releasing his P'o for the
briefest of seconds, the Kuei-jin is able to intimidate even the
fiercest animals, forcing them to cower or flee in fear.
Animal Spy:
~With this power, the Kuei-jin can "possess" an animal, forcing
it to act as his spy for a brief time.
Conjuring The Animal Kami:
~A Kuei-jin with this power has the ability to send out a call -
not a vocal call, but a sort of mental compulsion - that summons
to him a specific type of animal. The character may specify a
desired species (tigers, bird-of-paradise, rhinos, etc) or a
more specific subject (Siberian tigers, alpha-male wolves, etc).
The animals summoned only come if they are within a two-mile
radius of the Kuei-jin’s location when he makes the call and if
they are physically able to do so. This power does not grant
control over animals, but those summoned by the call generally
seem predisposed toward the Kuei-jin and may fight for him if he
appears to be in trouble.
Sway The Beast:
~Considered by some Kuei-jin to be an extension of Cower Before
The Beast, this power allows a Cathayan to infuse a tiny spark
of his will into the mind of an animal, forcing that animal to
do his bidding. The animal can be forced to do anything,
including suicidal actions; the Kuei-jin's control overrides its
normal fear and self-protection instincts.
Unleash The Beast Spirit:
~This power creates such a great connection between the Kuei-jin
and nature that the Kuei-jin's own animal spirit manifests
itself in physical form. The Kuei-jin undergoes changes similar
to those expected by shape shifters, becoming a sort of
half-man, half-animal, with appropriate abilities.
Smoke Shintai:
Smoke Without Fire:
~The name of this power is misleading to many younger Kuei-jin,
since it does not literally allow a Cathayan to create smoke in
the absence of fire. What it provides is the power to enhance
the volume and thickness of the smoke created by a fire. With
enough control, the smoke from a cigarette becomes enough to
conceal many men.
Words of Smoke:
~A Kuei-jin employing this power becomes one of the world's most
consummate liars. Anything he says, no matter how outlandish,
tends to seem believable and sincere.
The Hampering Smoke of Chou Zheng:
~This power gives a Kuei-jin the ability to "cast smoke" into
the eyes of another, temporarily blinding him.
Wisp Maya:
~Among the most arcane of the Smoke Shintai powers is this one,
which allows a Kuei-jin to weave subtle panoramas and images out
of simple smoke. In the hands of a skilled practioner, the smoke
from even a small fire can be formed into the shape of men,
animals, and other objects that are virtually indistinguishable
from the real thing - at least to the naked eye.
Storm Shintai:
Conjure the Duke of Wind:
~This power allows a Kuei-jin to raise fierce storm winds. These
can be used to make a sailboat travel more quickly, to interfere
with the flight of birds or Cathayans using certain Disciplines
and so forth.
Thunderbolt's Kiss:
~Many men have dreamed of holding the lightning in their hands,
but the Kuei-jin can actually do it. When a Cathayan uses this
power, his very touch inflicts the power of the thunderbolt on
his foes. A Kuei-jin using this power may hold the lightning
quietly and invisibly, waiting to be released, or may cause it
to arc and thunder about his hands and body.
Thunderbolt's Caress:
~This power is similar to Thunderbolt's Kiss, but the Kuei-jin
need not touch his victim - he can actually "cast" the lightning
bolt at targets a short distance away from him. Depending upon
the character's desires, he may appear to throw the lightning
bolt at his foes, or it may simply jump from his hand (or eyes)
and strike them.
Cloud Chariot:
~The power creates extremely strong, localized winds that
actually lift the Kuei-jin and fly him wherever he wishes to go.
P'o Arts:
Berserk Rage:
~The character may attempt to unleash a berserk rage in himself.
Success indicates that the character triggers his fire nature. A
character in the throes of fire nature suffers no wound
penalties and gains access to Demon Chi.
Resistance:
~When a character suffers magical mind control, he may attempt
to use his P'o to break the control. Although they may be able
to break free from the mind control, the user still need to
check on their shadow nature.
Shadow Nature:
~The most feared power of the P'o is its ability to take over
the Kuei-jin's body. During certain conditions, the P'o soul may
actually overwhelm that of the Hun, substituting its own
personality for that of the Hun. Q's Shadow Nature is basically
Venom from the Spider-Gwen universe (violent as hell).
Qiao Chi Arts:
Divine Perceptions:
~This power entitles the character to view the spirit of another
being. It works like a lie detector for the most part, but the
character can also see when a mortal or other entity is
possessed.
Wind Talk:
~The character employing this ability can listen to the denizens
of the spirit realms and communicate with them. These creatures
are not, however, obligated to respond to any questions or
demands the character might make.
Celestial Window:
~The character employing this ability interacts on all levels
with one denizen of the Yin or Yang Realm (Underworld or Umbra).
For all intents and purposes, the chosen spirit is on the same
level of existence as the character. That spirit can be touched,
hurt, helped, or engaged in combat as if both the character and
the spirit were in the same place.
Celestial Doorway:
~The character can enter the spirit worlds; however, this course
of action is not necessarily the wisest to take. Q has to be
very careful with this skill since there are certain spiritual
planes that she does NOT want to go through such as the dreaded
Hell of Souls. This skill requires concentration and for her to
not botch it up.
Sight Without Eyes:
~This skill ignores any and all conditions that limit Q's
senses. Immune to all forms of illusions, invisibility or
supernatural obfuscation.
The Eye of Heaven:
~This skill requires meditation. When done right, this chi skill
gives Q a minute of perception as if she was present. She also
know where her target is and can follow it if it moves. Q cannot
switch targets since it drains a lot of energy.
Spiritual Healing:
~This power improves on the efficiency of Q's regeneration
powers. Q can purge her body of impurities such as certain
poisons that harms her regeneration abilities, though it may
take a while since she has to be in a meditative state or
sleeping in order to pull it off.
Thousand Fists:
~The Shih focuses his Chi and cuts loose with multiple punches.
The strikes are super-human fast, often blurring in the air.
Spear Hand:
~The Shih focuses his Chi and ignites the energy around one
hand. The energy ripples the air and burns intensely.
Burning Ghosts:
~The Shih focuses her Chi, allowing her to combat wraiths and
spirits of all types. Her skin glows with golden light, and Chi
energies wrap around her. The Shih's body doesn't actually
strike the spirits, but the aura of power surrounding her does.
Steel Body:
~The Shih focuses her Chi, toughening her body and increasing
her ability to inflict damage. Every muscle in the Shih's body
tenses, and her skin becomes more resilient.
Thousand Swords:
~The Shih concentrates his Chi, then lashes out against his
enemies in a flurry of actions. Each strike opens wounds in his
enemy, and the sound of the impacts is like that of metal
striking metal.
Frozen River:
~The Shih uses her Chi to build a protective barrier around her
own life-force, thus preventing the theft of her Chi.
Stolen Serpent:
~The Shih can capture any ranged supernatural attack directed
against him and then send it hurling back at the opponent who
cast it. This is a dangerous business, as the Shih must
demonstrate perfect timing in order to seize the mystical
energies thrown at him.
Eyes of the Dragon:
~The Shih stares down an opponent. Intimidation is the key to
avoiding combat successfully.
Haunted Eyes:
~This power can terrorize anyone. Staring into the eyes of an
opponent, the Shih forces the target to relive their most
terrifying memories or fears. Q doesn't like using this power
much and only use it on the most deserving.
Voice of the Yama Kings:
~A Shih employing this power can command one spirit to
accomplish one simple task, which must be something the spirit
can actually do, but need not be something the spirit would be
willing to do.
Nightmare Exorcism:
~Many Shih turn to drugs and alcohol in an effort to alleviate
their mental anguish. Shih using this power can take a more
direct approach by erasing the memory’s emotional impact and,
hopefully, removing the mental scars that memory creates.
Mountain Meditation:
~The character is immune to social and metal manipulation,
supernatural or otherwise. She is also immune to any
distraction-based penalties, including Impairment from
Superficial damage.
Cloud Walking:
~This power lets the Shih move silently and without leaving a
trail, even while running. The Shih leaves behind no scent to
indicate that he has ever been in the area.
Water Treading:
~With this power, the Shih is able to travel over unstable
surfaces, such as water or quicksand, and to use virtually any
surface, even leaves on a tree, for the purpose of climbing.
Wind Strike:
~The Shih uses an opponent's own momentum to throw an enemy
incredible distances. The character must establish a Grapple,
then on her next move if done right, start sending her opponent
flying 20 feet horizontally (half that vertically).
Celestial Wind:
~The Shih using this power focuses her Chi to stop a target from
advancing and possibly even sends an opponent crashing backward.
Arrow Cutting:
~In full health, Q is able to defend herself against any ranged
attack regardless of attack velocity.
Wind-Racing Prana:
~This works like the Traversal Celerity power but takes the user
twice as far in the same amount of time (one rp turn).
Alternatively, Q can run at her full-normal speed for a whole
day without rest.
Watōjutsu Style Sword Skills:
Watōjutsu Sword Technique:
~Watōjutsu incorporates elements of both Japanese and
Chinese swordsmanship, utilizing both the speed and cutting
power of a Nihontō and the flexibility and strength found
on the continent. The style focuses on high offense to the point
of diminished defense. The style is shown to be a near-perfect
counter for the techniques used in Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū,
though this seems to be a coincidence. Although it was self
taught by a unknown swordsman, Q's old gang partner taught this
skill to Q due to her sword skills and her Chinese heritage.
Overtime, Q has proven to be one of the deadliest swordswoman
that uses the Watōjutsu sword technique, especially against
the Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu sword style.
Kicking Sword:
~Q's first technique. She hits her opponent with the sword from
below, but she puts her foot against the blunt side of the blade
as a means of maximizing the force of the attack. This can
result in a real damaging effect, if used right.
Bayonet:
~Q's counterattack. She puts the hilt against the opponent's
sword, countering her attack. After that, she makes a quick turn
and thrusts the point of her sword into her enemy. This type of
counterattack resembles the Ryu-Kan-Sen sword style.
Palm Break:
~A technique that resembles the Shugeki Tosei. Q starts with her
sword up in the air over her head (a stance very similar to
Jōdan in Japanese kenjutsu) before sweeping it down onto
her opponent, Q then places the palm of her hand on the blunt
side of the sword before pushing it forward using all of her
force to maximize the attack power.
Ups and Downs:
~A counter move against any type of aerial attack. When her
opponent is up high, Q plants her sword in the ground and uses
it to lift herself high into the air. While she jumps up, she
holds the cord from her sword, and when she's up in the air,
uses it to recover her sword so she can attack her opponent
immediately placing her hand on the sword, just like with the
Shoha Tosei, in order to maximize her attack power.
Zhanlan Sword:
~Q ducks low to the ground, as if she's planning on using the
Sword Force technique, but instead she gets up and unleashes a
fury of strikes, giving the opponent no chance to evade or
counterattack. It almost looks like she's unleashes a whirlwind
of sword strikes on her opponent. The strength of this attack is
based on its great speed and the force behind it.
Slasher:
~When Q jumps high in the air to get to her opponent, she uses
the point where her jumps force is equal to the gravity to get
even higher. This allows her to stay into the sky like she's
floating, giving her the chance to execute an even more powerful
hit.
Falling Blade:
~Q plants her sword in her opponent's stomach or another body
part, and she lifts the opponent with her sword over her head.
This is a very difficult technique to execute, because you need
a lot of strength in your arms and a good sword to support the
weight.
Torabushi Sword Force:
~Q's ultimate technique. She uses it to counter the Amakakeru
Ryū no Hirameki. She first holds her sword in a reverse
grip stance and behind her back whilst crouching close to the
ground to avoid the first strike and the vacuum created after
that, and when the opponent prepares to strike again, she gets
up and counters the attack by pulling her sword back up. This is
the only attack that could ever break the Amakakeru Ryū no
Hirameki.
Beast Style Sword Skills:
First Fang: Pierce:
~Q stabs the target's neck with both blades.
Second Fang: Rip and Tear:
~A double slash with his two blades in both diagonals (like X).
Third Fang: Devour:
~Simultaneous horizontal slashes towards the target's throat.
Fourth Fang: Slice 'n' Dice:
~A multiple diagonal double slashes with both swords.
Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting:
~The 'Mad Cleave' is a technique which slices everything in all
directions.
Sixth Fang: Palisade Bite:
~A simultaneous decapitation with her two swords from both
directions.
Seventh Form: Spatial Awareness:
~Taught by her superior, Q can identify the position of enemies
by feeling small disturbances in the air. This technique was so
strong that Q was able to sense all the people spread out
through a entire city from normal civilians to law enforcers to
even the lowest of criminals.
Eighth Fang: Explosive Rush:
~Q charges towards her opponent while dual wielding, then she
swings her blades to decapitate them.
Ninth Fang: Extending Bendy Slash:
~Q is able to infuse her chi in her blades to extend her attack
such as performing blade slashes from a distance.
Tenth Fang: Whirling Fangs:
~Q spins her swords in a circular motion.
Sudden Throwing Strike:
~Q throws her smaller blades or her larger blades at an enemy.
Combat Skills:
Supernatural Hunter:
~The user possesses the powers of a supernatural hunter, having
the innate ability to hunt down supernatural creatures. They are
able to physically match and fight off most of the creatures
they hunt, have innate combat abilities and information about
the paranormal world, ability to detect supernatural creatures,
and know how to kill and trap them. They may have immunity
towards the creatures they hunt (immune to vampire's compulsion,
werebeast's infection, demon's possession, witch's magic, divine
influences, etc.).
Thanks to her training from ARGUS, Q learned how to fight
against demons from a young age, though she also learned how to
combat against other creatures such as vampires and werebeasts.
Assassin:
~The user can perform the art of assassination better than the
average killer, able to dispatch their victims without so much
of a struggle or even having to be near them and cover their
tracks. The ways they can do this range from something complex
and of high finesse like mastery of stealth, strategically and
tactically planned scenarios, expertise in martial arts, and
proficiency with weaponry to something more simple yet effective
like herculean strength and lightning speed to overwhelm their
targets.
Bajiquan Martial Art:
~A very aggressive, offensive martial art technique that is
known as the "eight extremities fist". The elbow is a strong
weapon in this style, which is also recognizable because of it
quick, thrusting punches to the chest area. It does not focus on
the aesthetics of the movements, rather on their strengths. In
China, it is also known as the "bodyguard style", because a lot
of local bodyguards have been trained to practice it.
Dog Kung Fu:
~Dog Kung Fu is a ferocious street, and ground fighting style
taught by the Tiangou street gang. Dog Kung Fu is a rare martial
art with an evil reputation. Eye gouging, groin attacks, finger
breaking, throat attacks, leg breaks, and even tearing off lips
and ears are signature wounds from one quick Dog attack. Dog
Kung Fu is taught as a sub-style of Imperial Leopard Kung Fu,
and fights from leaping, standing, low realm, and ground
fighting positions.
Dog Kung Fu fights with toughened strikes & kicks, bring-downs,
weapons, and painful Chin Na. This style, like all the
animals arts, is savage and brutal for real combat. These aren't
desperate self defense moves, but toughened and powerful
attacks. Students at Imperial Combat Arts begin Dog Fighting
tactics in their third rank as a brutal and effective means to
negate common grappling and boxing styles. True mastery however
comes after years of hand and leg toughening and with high level
Chin Na ability.
Northern Tiger Martial Art:
~Northern Tiger is the most physically powerful Tiger Style as
the Northern Chinese people, Manchurians, and Mongolians are
larger and stronger than the Southern Chinese People. Northern
Tiger masters can power through the strongest defenses, killing
with a single strike or grip, and can tear out the throat of an
opponent.
Southern Tiger Martial Art:
~Southern Tiger is the fastest a lightest Tiger style, and while
Southern Tiger practitioners may have smaller builds they still
develop all the intensity and intimidation of the larger styles.
While they may not be able to tear the throat from their
opponents and animal cadavers, they're required to crush throats
within their Tigers Mouth grip in order to carry the title of
Imperial Tiger Master.
Black Tiger Martial Art:
~Black Tiger trains to the highest levels all of the stealth,
ambush, and guerrilla tactics of true combat level Tiger. When
many people think of Animal Styles they see them as done by a
performer in a silk costume and don't realize that the true
killing styles were real world martial arts that trained all the
techniques of the animals they emulate like camouflage,
stalking, and ambush.
Sabre Proficiency:
~The user has great skill in wielding sabres, this may include
other types of sabres, such as scimitar, dao, shamshir, and
cutlass.
Jian Proficiency:
~The user possesses great skill in wielding a Chinese jian, a
type of double-edged straight sword used during the last 2,500
years in China.
Multi-Sword Proficiency:
~The user is capable of wielding multiple swords with incredible
ease during combat. From short sword to oversized blades.
Q wields multiple blades in combat, swapping them out or using
more than two if needed. Combined with her high speed she can
cut through entire crowds of enemies at once.
Animalistic Combat:
~The user can combine using animal imitation with physical
fighting, they can fight with the brutality of a bear, the speed
of a cheetah, the ferocity of a tiger, the agility of a leopard,
the dexterity of a monkey, the flexibility of a snake, etc.
Kung Fu Intuition:
~Users have an innate knowledge of Chinese martial arts and
related disciplines, which consists of over several hundred
different fighting styles that have been developed for
self-defense, exercise, and spiritual growth.
Q is a skilled fighter in hand-to-hand combat, with even high
members of ARGUS considering her to be one of the best in the
world. She is highly specialized in using kicks, within a matter
of moments she could disable high level opponents using nothing
but kicks.
Pressure Point Intuition:
~The user possesses immense knowledge of pressure points and
nerve clusters, and can produce a variety of effects by striking
said pressure points in just the right way, ranging from
unconsciousness, paralysis, and even death.
Stealth Tactics:
~The user possesses incredibly extensive knowledge and skill in
many types and ways of stealth tactics, enabling them to easily
slip in and out of areas undetected. Their abilities in all
manners of stealth are so refined they appear as mere illusions
to those who have been lucky to spot the user. The users of this
ability can move throughout even the most guarded of areas and
act in true discretion.
Stealth Combat:
~User can use extraordinary fighting skills in combination with
superior stealth abilities for particularly lethal effects. It
allows them to land flurries of critical blows while easily
escaping their targets' clueless counterattacks, devastating
opposing forces they couldn't hope to face in normal combat.
Enhanced Tracking:
~The user can track others down easily via various means,
ranging from scents to footprints. With enough experience, the
user can follow tracks that are days or even weeks old. Some
users may be able to reconstruct what has happened by sniffing
around the area they are searching.
Supernatural Exorcism, Weakness and Trap Training:
~Of course, every supernatural hunter has to learn how to do
things like exorcisms, and use traps for certain types of races.
From their training as well as their experience, demons were
trained heavily in how to trap and contain supernaturals mostly
through Enochian knowledge and spells/sigils of demonic design.
They are taught things like how to draw angel traps, how to
build traps for other supernaturals, or how to lure out
supernaturals if they try to hide. They are also taught all
manners of exorcisms, from exorcising demons, to using Enochian
sigils to cast out angels and fallen angels, and sometimes how
to trap enemy demons. Of course, as many demons have had plenty
of practice and experience, they also eventually developed
experience with it over time, and can learn new ways to take on
supernaturals thanks to experimentation with their abilities and
knowing how to combine certain exorcisms and abilities.
Depending on what's available, some demons can come up with new
ways to take on supernaturals, and this works even better when
paired with their exorcism abilities, in which they often use a
combination of exorcism and combat when taking on things like
angels.
Passive Skills:
Pain Empowerment:
~Users become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. by the pain
of oneself and others, possibly unlocking abilities related to
the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may
be able to draw sustenance from the pain or even slow or stop
aging.
Killing Instinct:
~User possesses the capability that enables them to be the
"ultimate killing machine". They have instincts to kill by any
means and in the most effective ways possible, use anything at
hand to do so and, have no mental/emotional issues or moral
dilemmas either before, during or ,after the deed. They are, in
short, cold and merciless killers. They are focused on nothing
except killing their enemies and how they should do so, putting
all of their efforts into making sure whatever they kill is good
and dead. They can also give off a murderous aura, inducing fear
into their opponents.
Enhanced Violence:
~Users are incredibly skilled at harming others, whether
intentionally or unintentional. Users have no problem using any
means to get their way with others, even if it involves breaking
a few bones or leaving some scars. They don't necessarily have
to be good at fighting or killing to be violent, however, the
intention to harm has to be there, which usually does lead to
the deaths or maiming of others.
Violence Aura:
~The user can generate an aura of violence that can
amplify/induce aggression on beings inside their aura and gain
power from the emotions.
Bloodlust Aura:
~User can project an aura of killing intent and bloodlust,
including aggression and brutality. The effect may be caused by
purely physical or mental means, or a combination of both. This
can make allies blood-thirsty and better killers.
Tranquil Fury:
~User can attack in full rage while retaining control and are
able to attack with the relentless strength of a madman while
gaining the speed and precision of a surgeon.
Dhampir Regeneration:
~Just like normal vampires, Q is able to regenerate from the
wounds inflicted on her. Her regeneration is strong enough to
regrow a limb or repair damage organs. Her regeneration is
strong enough for her to reattach her severed head as long as
the head is not completely destroyed. Though her regeneration
isn't strong enough to come back from complete disintegration or
from a pool of her own blood, she can still be able to
regenerate certain body parts with no problem unless it's with a
certain weapon or power that can harm regeneration, such as when
her right eye was taken by a demonic vampire, it was unable to
regenerate due to the potent dark chi the vampire had before Q
killed it.
Dhampir Flight:
~Just like vampires, dhampirs are able to fly. Some are able to
grow bat wings in order to do it but since Q isn't a western
vampire, she was unable to do so. Though she still was able to
fly no problem without the use of wings.
Dhamphir Enhanced Physical Abilities:
~Like many vampires, dhampirs have the same physical abilities
as vampires such as speed, strength, agility, durability and
even dexterity. Q is known as one of the most dangerous dhampir
assassin in ARGUS due to how many people she killed or put in
the hospital thanks to her physical abilities alone. Due to her
being a Chinese vampire, her physical stats is no different from
a western dhampir but that doesn't make her any less dangerous.
Weapon(s):
Dao Swords:
~Q has three dao swords that are demon slaying weapons. Although
it is capable of harming other creatures due to part of the
metal being varanium, the blade mainly focus on slaying demons
along with being empowered with demon blood, making the blade
stronger. Q is able to use these blades either one at a time or
all at once. She can even use them as throwing weapons if
needed.
Jian Sword:
~This sword was a gift from her old gang leader/friend before he
died in a turf war. This blade is a powerful supernatural
slaying weapon that draws in chi from the air and can even be
infused with it in order to empower the wielder. It's similar to
the mana blade, due to it shifting to a slayer type weapon when
it face off an opponent such as a vampire.
Claws, Fangs, anything she can reach.
Transformation(s):
Black Dog Form:
~Q can shift into a large black dog which she can use in combat.
She can shape shift partially just by reforming ears and a tail.
Q is highly skilled in fighting opponents in this form,
especially humanoids to the point of being able to use her
blades as a weapon in combat. Although it's not as big as many
werewolves or weredogs such as a pricolici, Q has proven before
that size does not matter.
Demon Feral State:
~Due to the vampire clan she was born from, Q's mind can
suppress her inhibition, forcing her to go into a berserk like
state that will turn her into a feral, killing machine. Q will
only use this form if she remove her pendant or if someone push
her to that edge by harming her friends. In this form, only one
thing is on Q's mind: Fight. This is dangerous since she will
fight anyone who stands in her way, doesn't matter if it's a
friend or foe. With outside help, Q can force control back over
herself by one of her friends try to call her back to her side,
a strong psychic snaps her out of it, her target is destroyed or
if someone puts the pendant back on her. Her feral state can
also be triggered by extreme anger or stress, and can even be
intentionally triggered if desperate times call for it. This
feral state can also be triggered by a Trigger Scent which is
driven into her thanks to the scientists in ARGUS under Waller's
and Callahan's orders. Q can tap into this state for power but
she has to be careful to not dive too much into it. When Q is in
her feral state, her fangs are at full length, her nails are
black and her pupils turns pure crimson red while her sclera
turns pitch black. She also shows some distinctions of her demon
dog form by revealing ears and a tail which does happen
sometimes.
Weaknesses:
Kuei-jin are not created through the act of another, like
western vampires are, and their numbers are limited and can not
be easily replenished. Their blood has no supernatural
properties of its own and cannot create Blood Bonds or ghouls.
The sun is just as dangerous to the Kuei-jin as it is to their
western cousins. Kuei-jin, however, do not begin to burn when
exposed to sunlight; instead, their flesh begins to rot until
nothing remains but a putrefied carcass. A stake through the
heart does not automatically paralyze a Kuei-jin. However, the
heart is instrumental in processing Chi energy, and certain
types of attacks can disrupt the Chi flow in a Kuei-jin's body.
Vampires of Yin prove vulnerable to wood, the element of Yang;
conversely, vampires of Yang are vulnerable to metal, the
element of Yin. Q isn't affect by the sun due to her hybrid
blood. And since Q is not a dhampir of Yin or Yang (I research
it far and wide and the clan Q is from doesn't have Yin or Yang
powers or weaknesses), she isn't affected by wooden or silver
stakes. Though Q cannot create Blood Bonds or ghouls, which Q
doesn't seem to care.
Even the wisest Devil-Tigers seem impulsive, a bit too quick to
provoke a scream. The younger ones are clumsy tempters or raging
killers, and their elders aren't much better. Subtlety is not
this Dharma's strong point. In the dawning of the Sixth Age,
Devil-Tigers stand ready to claim the world and are none too
humble about that privilege. They cultivate Bane-spirits in
their gardens, but cannot quite hide the hunger in their eyes.
Although Q tries to keep her impulsive and rage in check, she's
still vulnerable to it if she slips such as if someone threatens
her friends or if her pendant is removed.
Although Q is a Chinese dhampir, she can still be harmed by
weapons that can bypass regeneration. Q is also weak to those
who have chi breaker weapons. During her time in ARGUS, Q has
also been subjected to conditioning in which a specific "trigger
scent" has been used to send her into a berserker rage, killing
anything marked with it. Most often she only kills the person
who has been marked, but occasionally she is shown to murder
everyone near the scent, even if they do not have any on them.
Personality:
Quanxi is a calm and stoic, having no shame in discussing
business while she's in bed with a prostitute, showing little
emotion even as if someone fawn over her. However, she does
deeply care for her friends, going as far as threating to rip
off the arm of a high rank Foxhound solder and beat him to death
with it if he keeps degrading her werewolf friend Jay by calling
him a dog soldier.
Quanxi is ruthlessly pragmatic in combat, preferring to throw
her enemies outside of the battlefield in order to efficiently
cut down their numbers and remove distractions. Similarly, when
she was trapped into an enemy territory of demons with a
Foxhound member, she instantly requested a ceasefire in
hostilities so as to determine their situation. This alliance
continued until the moment the threat was contained, at which
point she immediately attacked once again. Though her attacks
are swift and brutal, she seems to prefer leaving those other
than her target alive.
Although Quanxi is not a fan of demons (mainly the ones from the
Eastern part of the world), Quanxi isn't too much of a fan of
humans, other hunters especially due to many treating
supernaturals and hybrids as sub humans from black markets to
even being disrespected by Foxhound members despite them and
ARGUS being allies. Though there are exceptions, such as when
she grew to like Namine to the point of viewing her as a little
sister during their travels together.
Bio:
Not much is known about Q other than her being from a gang from
Hong Kong. Her friend was a meta-human who took Q in when her
vampire father went MIA and her human mother was killed by a
demon. Growing up, Q learned how to use her powers along with
learning how to defend herself against demons. Although the gang
was small, they were a force to be reckon with to the point that
they even gave the Chinese Triads trouble up to them becoming
their rivals. One night after a drug trade, the gang group were
betrayed and ambushed by their traders, which led to a gruesome
gang brawl. Both sides were slaughtered along with Q barely
surviving the ordeal. The last thing she remembered before being
picked up by ARGUS soldiers was Q cradling her friend and father
figure into her arms along with whispering in Mandarin that she
is sorry for failing to protect him.
Q later on wakes up in a sick room, finding her wounds healed
fully. Q later on sees herself in front of Amanda Waller and
Bruno Callahan. The two humans told Q that her gang and the
rival gangs were slaughtered and that Q is the only survivor.
Although Q has committed murder crimes, Waller states that Q can
have her sentence reduced by working under ARGUS in a group
called the Suicide Squad to pay off her sentence. Having nowhere
else to go, Q reluctantly accepts. Bruno Callahan assign Q a
handler who happens to be a vampire hunter from England, making
sure that Q is kept in line. During Q's time in ARGUS, she has
grown to dislike humanity due to the harsh treatment she was
given there. When ARGUS discovered the Trigger Scent which is
supposed to control those with feral instincts such as vampires
and werewolves, Bruno decides to use Q as a guinea pig to see
how it works. Q was tortured into reacting to it via a
combination of waterboarding and electric shock, so that
whenever she smelled it she would instinctively attack whatever
it was applied to, regardless of whether she wanted to or not.
It was eventually determined by Callahan and those like Ronan
and a few Foxhound members that Q's consciousness retreated into
one of her only happy memories of her time at ARGUS as a defense
mechanism in response to the torture, thus explaining her
blackouts when under its effects. It was bad to the point that
she killed a innocent human woman who tried to help Q, which
later on revealed to be Waller's doing due to the woman being
the wife of another handler to teach the handler a lesson for
being too soft.
In the Suicide Squad, Q has surprisingly made some friends
there, mainly Jay Mendoza and Ronan O'Mahony as they were the
trio of the group. The Suicide Squad would normally team up with
Foxhound members against certain enemies such as Slade Wilson
and the HWE, a group of meta-humans who were focused on starting
the new evolution of mankind and killing off the weaker human
race. During the missions, Q has made many friends and enemies,
one friend being Namine who was a prisoner in a castle in
Ireland. It took both the hybrid and the girl some time but the
two manage to grow a bond between each other. One of Q's worst
enemies was Rhys Wilson AKA Vicar. When Vicar joined Suicide
Squad, the two formed a mutual respect due to them being
dhampirs. The bond broke when Q found out about Vicar's true
intentions and tried to get her to join him, which backfired
when her group came. Even though the dhampirs were on par with
each other, Q manage to defeat Vicar but the demonic dhampir
ended up escaping into the night.
Later on when the Order invaded the world and crippled ARGUS
with Slade Wilson's help, Q and the other members who manage to
stay alive took the opportunity to flee after removing the bombs
out of their heads. Q and the group went off to help Akiba and
the Mercenaries since Q has her own enemy that she wanted to
kill, which she presumably killed Vicar for nearly killing
Namine. After the incident, Q and the group went off their own
way for the moment with Jay venturing off to find his birth
tribe with Namine while Q went to China with Ronan to find some
sort of peace with herself. When Drakkon and his forces begin
destroying the world, Q and Ronan quickly heads off to find Jay
and Namine. The four later on ended up in the London world by
accident, trying to find a place to call home. They did manage
to find refugee in a borough controlled by weretigers. But after
talking to the leader of the Khan gang tribe, Q and the others
manage to lay low for a while as Q helps the weretigers with
certain trades and helping to protect their local restaurant.
Due to the Nighshade incident and the Anti-Hunter group called
the Jackals going after hunters and other humans, Q, Ronan and
Jay work with the weretigers to keep Namine and the weretigers'
human friends from being hunted down. Although Q learned that
the Mercenaries are around, she decides to stay away from them
for a while but will align with them if the situation calls for
it, which might come sooner than she thinks.
