Oyuki: Whoa...
Oyuki couldn't help but look slightly amazed by how Wolfwing
manage to heat his arm to stop the ice spread. Regaining her
composure, she begin to try another gift. Oyuki conjures up a
bitterly cold blast of smoke around her. The gift is capable of
knocking opponents off of their feet, as well as chill them to
the bone. The smoke is used to replace the wind due to her
Darkfire element being smoke. Still, it is capable of also
knocking foes off ledges, into traffic or into pits. Once it's
conjured up and infused in her daito, Oyuki send the slash at
Wolfwing by projecting it from the blade. Although this is
training, she wants to see how "immovable" is this werepire.

Wolfwing gets into a ready stance as Oyuki makes her attack. He
deactivates his gift that heated up his body, not wanting to
overuse it. Wolfwing: Shingetsu style: Dragon Hammer. He says as
he does an uppercut, releasing an attack using his martial arts
attack focus. When he attacks, his attack concentrates his
physical attack, and uses the energy negation using his attack
focus, as Wolfwing's uppercut was designed to negate all of the
energy she put in, and using the Dragon Hammer to counter the
physical force of the attack which would be powerful enough to
release a wave of wind as he attacked that would come from his
attack.

Oyuki stands her ground with her sword in hand, trying to think
of another idea. She doubts her other gifts would work, even if
it's just training. Even her best which is her ronin training
and ninjutsu doesn't seem to have any affect on him. Well, she
has one good gift that did work a few good times when she was
back in her old world. It's worth a shot anyway. Oyuki start
using the Whiteout gift, which allows her to transform the area
around her into a blinding whiteout, rendering it utterly
featureless and dangerously disorienting. Anyone within the
reach of the spell are enclosed within a frightening, snowy
blizzard filled dome, which deadens all scents, mutes all sounds
with the roar of wind, and blinds all types of vision. Oyuki's
senses are untouched by these effects due to her being half
Wendigo from her mother's tribe, although she remains within the
whiteout. The diameter of the dome covered by the whiteout is at
least five feet. Oyuki has never seen anyone manage to have
better luck with this gift other than a werewolf from the
Wendigo tribe. Although she knows that it won't affect Wolfwing
immediately, the whiteout should be able to give him a bit of
trouble, even if it's small.

It had been years since Wolfwing fought a wendigo, and with it
being a rarity usually, he didn't have a way to counter the
effects. Instead, he kneels down, realizing the disorientation
he was feeling, and gets as close to the ground as possible
while down on one knee to minimize his disorientation. He keeps
his eyes closed, and sixth sense out, but didn't want to rely on
what little sixth sense data was coming in as he'd met Wendigo's
who could suppress their presence. There was only one thing for
Wolfwing to do in this situation. Since his senses were all
useless, there was only one sense he could rely on, so he had to
wait for Oyuki to attack first, but it was clear that Wolfwing
was ready for an attack, and seemed focused not on the
environment, but on himself.

Although the gift worked out better than she expected, she
begins to calmly walk a few feet toward Wolfwing with her sword
still in her hand. She would try to use this opportunity to
attack him but she doubts that it will do anything since his
defenses are tough as hell. Besides, this is training. She's not
going to try to lop his head off like he's some kind of enemy.
So she goes for another approach. Summoning smoke around her,
she points the smoke at Wolfwing, trying to use it to subdue
him.

Wolfwing: Shingetsu style: Screaming Clap. He says as he uses a
Shingetsu style technique. Knowing the smoke was making contact
with his body, he knew the best way to get the smoke away would
be to create a wave in the air that would separate the smoke
enough that it would gather the smoke back. This technique seems
like a simple clap at first as Wolfwing claps his hands
together, which creates a concussive wave that goes outward from
him using immense physical force. Since the area around him was
still negating his ability to hear, he uses it to his advantage
with this technique that creates a sonic boom style sound wave
that could normally hurt the hearing of those with enhanced
hearing, but in this case, the purpose wasn't the sonic boom,
but the concussive wave of force that would be specifically to
create a gust of wind strong enough that it would be able to
hopefully overpower the smoke if Wolfwing was right about how
the power was working (As Wolfwing only has his sense of touch
right now and can't completely tell what's going on around him).

The clap not only manage to disperse the smoke attack with ease,
but it also sent Oyuki flying backwards. She manage to slow down
the momentum to a halt by stabbing the snowy ground with her
sword. Due to the hearing damage from the clap, Oyuki let go of
her blade and grabbed her ears in pain. This also made her lose
concentration of the Whiteout gift since it start to slowly fade
away, which means that Wolfwing will also gain back his senses
little by little.
Oyuki: F*ck, that hurts.

After the gift is dispelled, Wolfwing gets up once his senses
return to normal and looks to Oyuki, noticing her hearing was
effected. Wolfwing: Apologies... The last time I encountered
that ability through another Wendigo, I never figured out if the
Wendigo could also use their senses during that special ability
or if they had similar limitations. I guess that answers the
question I had that he wasn't willing to answer. But then again,
all it would have done is probably saved me a little time. He
says, reflecting on a previous battle.

Oyuki: Wait... you fought an actual Wendigo? Was it an actual
one or a werewolf from the Wendigo tribe?

Wolfwing: I have fought both... Though the one I mentioned was a
werewolf taking on themselves to hunt me down like many other
werewolves, vampires and hunters try to do.
