Profile: Father Hei Darkfire (Alternate Version)
By: Zorbak the Ebil Moglin Date: October 14, 2018, 2:30 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
"I answer to no man's will; only God's will. I am his vessel. I
am Hei Darkfire, the White Emissary, and as the dawn light cuts
through the darkness, so shall I burn all evil with my purifying
flames."
"We come from dust... And to dust we shall return." - Father Hei
paraphrasing Genesis 3:19
"Unfortunately for you... I'm faster."
"Demons and angels aren't not the only one who wields powerful
weapons..."
"Some call us demons... Some call us divine emissaries... It
doesn't matter... We do God's work and that's all there is to
it... We are the Iscariot... The ones who purify the unclean and
destroy those of evil."
"If you're tired of a life of darkness and being a creature
shunned by the light... I can offer you a chance to become
something more... You can embrace the light and become a
creature of good, and I can help to make you a better person. If
you're looking for redemption... I cannot offer to erase the
sins of your past... But repentance is the acknowledgement of
your sins, and willingness to change... Something that I can
offer you is the baptism of holy flames which can make you into
a new creature of the light. No matter how dark your past."
"You want to be as fast as me? Sorry kid... But that's highly
unlikely. Don't settle for being an imitation. I don't care how
much you look up to someone, you have to develop your own combat
style that's natural to you. Everyone is different in their
combat styles, and they have to develop their own combat styles
based on their own physical attributes that make them who they
are. For me, that attribute is speed and defense. But for you,
it may be strength, defense, speed, durability or a combination
of them. Everyone's balance is different and that's why in
combat, everyone has to be trained individually, so that we can
maximize everyone's physical abilities based on what they have
affinities for. It's the same as my clan's elemental affinities.
Everyone has different affinities and it's rare for two people
to have the same affinities. Unless they're dimensional
alternates of each other... Like other versions of me being
fast... In time, you can be as good as me or even surpass me.
But do it in your own way." - Father Hei when training an
Iscariot member who wanted to be as fast as him.
"The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine
arrows also went abroad. The voice of thy thunder was in the
heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled
and shook. (Psalms 77:17-18)" - Father Hei when he uses his
final attack during a storm to have a lightning bird made of
lightning come down to strike his opponent
"For the evil man has no future; the lamp of the wicked will be
put out. (Proverbs 24:20)"
"Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine
inheritance, and for thy possession, the ends of the earth. Thou
shalt break them with a rod of iron. Thou shalt dash them in
pieces, like a potters vessel. Be wise now therefore, ye kings.
Be admonished, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear,
and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the son lest he be angry, and
ye perish in the way, though his wrath be kindled but a little.
(Psalms 2:8-2:12)" - One of Father Hei's quotes when he goes
into his "Alexander Anderson" mode
Name: Father Hei Darkfire (Alternate Dimension Version of Hei
Darkfire)
Nicknames: The White Emmisary, The Holy Vampire, Secret Weapon
of the Iscariot, Crazy Vampire Priest (when in his Anderson
mode)
Age: Unknown
Species: Holy Vampire
Gender: Male
Hunter Group/Team: Iscariot (Acts as leader when Alexander
Anderson isn't around)
Family:
- Father: Qrow Darkfire (Alternate Dimension Version) (Dead)
- Mother: Raven Branwen-Darkfire (Alternate Dimension Version)
(Dead)
- Sister: Kira Darkfire (Alternate Dimension version of Kindron
Darkfire)
- Brother-in-law: Nightbane Darkfire (Alternate Dimension
Version)
Weapons:
- Flameburst: This weapon fires holy silver rounds that fire
with enough force to hit someone with the force of an anti-tank
rifle. This gun holds up to 9 rounds before needing to be
reloaded. The shaft is lined with two barrels, one with magic
flame dust, and one with lightning dust. Dust is an elemental
powder which takes either a powder form or crystal form
depending on how it's made. He can switch between these at will
with a simple switch on the gun in order to switch which barrel
he's using. The type of dust used determines which type of
power, flame or lightning, will be used. The sword mode works
similarly, in which it can be switched between flame dust mode
and lightning dust mode. Determined by the light on the blade
which comes up based on it's mode. The blade shines blue when
he's using the lightning dust and red when it's using fire dust.
Depending on the dust chamber used, the bullet will either
become explosive when it hits something/someone, making it an
exploding round, or release an electrical burst when it hits
something/someone, electrocuting them or working to
stun/electrocute mechanical enemies.
- Bottles of Holy Water: This isn't holy water that is only holy
in name alone. This is a water purified and empowered with
Father Hei's own holy energy. This water shines when he pulls it
out, and does heavy damage to creatures of darkness with no
resistance to holy energy. These even explode when used,
spreading holy water all over it's target. Not only can Father
Hei use these like grenades against anything unholy, but he can
actually recover power from drinking holy water, thanks to his
holy vampire side. He can also run his holy lightning through
this to give it an extra jolt of holy power and allow the holy
water to electrocute opponents.
- Bottles of Holy Oil: Unfortunately for Father Hei, demons
aren't the only creatures who come after him, so he had to have
something to handle angels since some angels hunt him (mostly
fallen angels, as the most normal angels see Father Hei as an
ally). However, Father Hei came up with the perfect thing for
casting out angels, using bottles of holy oil. The bottle is
lined in the glass with flame dust, so that when the bottle is
thrown and the glass broken, the holy oil ignites with flames.
This is solely useful against angels, and if they are hit with
it, it does damage to them/their vessel. While it doesn't
usually kill them, it does cause them immense pain, and can cast
them to a random location in the world for a while as it works
similar to an exorcism.
- Boomerang Crosses: These are weapons designed solely by Father
Hei, which were originally designed to fight vampires and
demons. These are sharpened boomerang crosses that act like
throwing stars or ninja shuriken that are designed to be thrown
at opponents. The crosses have a special holy enchantment, which
can do holy damage to opponents. When thrown, these crosses spin
and are able to slice through almost anything due to their
enchantment and how sharp they are. These weapons are designed
to be thrown at opponents, and designed to slice through them.
And since they are metal, Father Hei can run his holy lightning
through them, which lets them do extra damage.
- Blessed Silver Knives: Though these are silver knives, Father
Hei runs a special chemical agent on them which blackens them,
making it so these appear as black knives instead of silver.
These still do holy damage, but are designed to mislead people
about the nature of his knives, making them think they're normal
weapon metals instead of holy silver. These can be thrown at
opponents like throwing knives, but can also be wielded by
Father Hei up close when fighting opponents. These knives, being
made of blessed silver, are holy weapons which are designed to
do holy damage to opponents. These can even burn the skin of
werewolves, vampires and demons simply to hold these knives, and
when the knives are embedded in an unholy creature, it's the
same effect as putting paper over a fire, at least as long as
the knife is in contact with them.
- Grapple Devices: Father Hei has a couple of these devices, in
which he can use them to use metal wire lines to try and trap
people, or use them in conjunction with his knives to grapple to
objects and buildings. Father Hei has two of these, one on each
wrist, and some lines built into his belt which he can draw out.
These lines are all metallic, and can not only wrap around
opponents when Father Hei throws them, but can also be used for
Father Hei to channel his electrical energy through, which can
electrocute opponents if they are in contact with the line when
Father Hei uses his holy lightning. The lines have a clip at the
end, in which they can clip around the line for support, or be
clipped to one of his knives which he can throw at opponents or
objects with the line connected.
- Training Weights: Underneath Father Hei's clothes, he wears
training weights all the time which weigh him down. While he's
very fast, these weights are designed to help him train. He only
removes them against opponents faster than him, which increases
his speed and strength considerably when he does. When wearing
them though, they also act as a good defense considering the
dense weight of the weights. When he needs to get rid of them,
he can simply use his ability to attach items to himself to
easily remove these and store them. These weights are more
training supplements than battle weapons though. After Father
Hei was worn down during his fight with Leviathan, he increased
his weights immensely, making himself weigh down more so that he
could build his strength more during training. This was a
training method he picked up from Sabbat Hei during his time in
the Order.
Vampire Abilities and Darkfire Training:
- Holy White Flames: These flames are Father Hei's main
elemental attack power, his holy flames. His white flames can
even consume normal flames and turn them into white flames.
These flames combine positive spirit energy with Father Hei's
flame powers. These flames do holy and flame damage to
opponents, letting Father Hei do things like burn things with
physical contact with heat, throw holy fireballs, or use his
flames to amp his attacks. Since this is a holy type ability, it
can be defeated with darkness type attacks assuming the darkness
can overcome the holy affect. It can also be countered like any
other fire, by using powers like water/ice to counter it, or use
earth manipulation to smother it, though one has to be careful
that Father Hei doesn't take control of earth attacks using his
holy lava manipulation and holy molten metal manipulation.
- Holy Lightning: This is Hei's other main elemental from his
Darkfire training, where he combines his positive spirit energy
with lightning to create a holy lightning. For Father Hei, this
lets him use an elemental lightning in order to attack
opponents. This lets him do things like fire blasts of lightning
including concentrated lightning, use magnetic manipulation, and
electrocute people through physical touch. His lightning is
probably his most dangerous elemental, as he can do far more
than many other lightning users with his power. Though his holy
lightning is strong, it can still be countered by things that
counter lightning, such as using water/ice powers to dispel or
short out his lightning power respectively, or using insulators
to prevent the lightning from reaching the opponent (like
through using earth manipulation).
- Holy Molten Metal Manipulation: Father Hei learned to use his
white holy flames to melt metal, then control the molten metal
using his white holy flame, turning it into holy element molten
metal that he can control while the metal is melted and in it's
molten state. This is a simple manipulation, where Father Hei
manipulates the heat in the metal, fusing the two elements
together into one. And Father Hei can revert the metal to normal
again by removing the heat from the metal, solidifying it.
Though once he does, he has to melt it again to control it.
Opponents can counter this by simply cooling the metal, as once
it loses it's molten properties, it cannot be controlled. Though
Father Hei can then manipulate it using his magnetic
manipulation, making metal not too useful against him. This was
designed more for metals that Father Hei couldn't manipulate
with magnetic manipulation.
- Holy Lava Manipulation: Father Hei developed this technique
where he is able to fuse his holy flames with the earth,
creating a powerful lava manipulation by controlling the melted
earth. Similar to his molten metal manipulation, this lets him
control earth using his flames by melting whatever the earth is
made of. Father Hei can use this to create attacks using lava,
which can be made of flames combined with anything from rocks
and boulders to dirt and mud. In this technique, Father Hei
simply controls the heat or flames that make up the lava. Father
Hei can do this with any type of earth attack from dirt to stone
and even crystals and diamonds if he can bring the temperature
of his flames high enough. Countering this is as simple as
removing the heat from the lava, with the obvious answer being
water/ice manipulation to freeze or cool the lava.
- Holy Magnetism Manipulation: As part of Father Hei's holy
lightning powers, he is able to control magnetism, being able to
take control of things that are magnetic or use magnetic
manipulation to influence objects. This lets him control things
that are magnetic, letting him do things like stop bullets, or
change a metal weapon's striking direction by using this power.
Of course, all one has to do to avoid this is scramble the
magnetic frequency of the weapon, as he does have to lock on to
the magnetic field of the object to influence it. This can also
be used for basic influence of movement, such as slowly pulling
someone toward him, or pushing someone away from him. This
becomes easier the more conductive elements are on someone, with
armor and metal weapons being very easy to push or pull away.
Though tougher opponents can resist this power, and again, if
one can't counter it, then scrambling their own magnetic
frequency with a slight electrical charge or shock can
temporarily scramble their magnetic frequency. However, while
many things have magnetic charges, insulators can't be
manipulated, and something people don't know is that molten
metal cannot be manipulated as molten metal loses it's magnetic
charge in molten form. Water/ice can also be deionized, making
magnetic manipulation impossible. Opponents can also resist the
influence of this, with stronger opponents being able to more
easily resist this.
- Elemental Aura: Holy Flame Aura: This power is specific to the
Darkfire family, which uses elemental power to generate
elemental power using a Darkfire's vampire aura. Father Hei's
elemental aura is his white holy flame aura. This elemental aura
works not just for generating attacks from the aura, but also
acts as a defense when active, in which the aura takes hits and
dampens attacks that hit the aura, doing less damage to Father
Hei when this aura is active. This isn't as defensive as the
aura skills that the Branwen family use, but works better with
Qrow's elemental powers and amps Father Hei's regenerative
powers as the Darkfire side is more about regenerative power
than defensive ability like the Branwen family.
- Elemental Regeneration: White Holy Flame Rebirth: This is the
main power of the Darkfire family, which they use elemental
power to amp and power their vampire regeneration. When injured,
this elemental power can regenerate Father Hei's body, even
regenerating lost limbs as long as Father Hei's heart and brain
are not destroyed. This rebirth was originally inspired by the
mythological rebirth of a phoenix, using elemental power to
essentially power this regeneration. As long as Father Hei has
flames or elemental power left to generate flames, he can
generate the power to regenerate, but if he runs out of energy
to use flames and can't use elemental energy to generate more,
then he runs out of regenerative power and most only rely on
basic vampire enhanced recovery/regeneration. Using counter
elements can also slow Darkfire regeneration, or varanium can
negate it temporarily.
- Elemental Touch: White Flames and Holy Lightning: This is a
fairly simple power which empowers Father Hei's touch with
elemental power. Using his elements, he can use his power to
affect others. His first elemental touch power uses white holy
flames, in which he can heat up things through physical touch,
burning people through physical touch, or melting objects with
intense heat. The second element is his holy lightning, in which
he can channel electrical currents from his touch to electrocute
opponents or objects through physical touch. This power requires
physical touch to use this ability, and requires contact with
whatever Father Hei wants to use it on. This power also acts as
a good defense as some attacks can be caught and dispelled with
an element, such as Father Hei using his holy lightning touch to
dispel an ice attack, though doing so requires quick reflexes
and the proper elemental touch.
- Elemental Teleportation: Holy Lightning Teleport: Of course,
Father Hei is also fully trained on teleporting using his holy
lightning. Those Darkfires that can use the elemental powers,
can use the elemental power as a catalyst to teleport to other
locations. While this allows more use in battle to teleport
around the battle field, it doesn't allow a user to teleport to
other dimensions, and teleporting farther distances takes more
effort. Father Hei uses his white holy flames to teleport, in
which he can go anywhere he wants to go. Father Hei can teleport
anywhere in the world, but cannot go to other dimensions or
timelines through this teleportation.
- Elemental Familiars: Father Hei can use his elemental familiar
techniques just like one would expect from a Darkfire. Father
Hei can use his white holy flame and holy lightning familiars,
which have special properties depending on what he uses, such as
his white holy flame familiars being able to explode on
opponents or burn them through touch or his holy lightning
familiars being able to electrocute opponents. Usually when
making these familiars, the larger or more familiars made, the
less power is generated between them, but the smaller or less
made are tougher as they can be made with more power. The
elemental familiars can also be taken out with counter elements,
such as water shorting out lightning familiars or ice being able
to counter flame familiars.
- Ultimate Genjutsu: This power is his special vampire power he
gained during his time guarding Hell's Gate before he became a
holy vampire, but has much more power now that he has become a
holy vampire. His illusions can act independent of him, and
won't dispel when he's in trouble. The illusions are also a lot
more durable. However, that doesn't mean the illusions are
invincible, and unless it's a special summon of one of his
familar's, the solid illusions can't take a lot of punishment
before they're destroyed. Even with the familiars, he can only
summon two or three at full strength before they have to equal
out power between them.
Elemental Techniques:
- Dragon Snap: Many are familiar with this technique, in which
those who use it are able to use oxygen in the air to ignite and
create explosions or some who use it to create lightning blasts
by using a finger snap to generate static. Father Hei can do
this with his flames or with his lightning, as he knows how to
use this technique both with lightning and with flames. Using
this technique using flames simply is used by manipulating the
oxygen content in the air, then using a finger snap to generate
a spark, which then ignites the oxygen in the air. His lightning
technique is somewhat similar, except instead of using oxygen,
Father Hei simply uses a finger snap to generate static
electricity which is then amped by his power in his snap, and
creates a blast of lightning he can fire at opponents. This lets
Father Hei either create explosions or lightning blasts
respectively with using minimal power. Even though he knew how
to use the flame dragon snap, he learned the lightning dragon
snap from seeing the Sabbat's Adam Taurus-Darkfire during
training with Sabbat Qrow.
- Dragon Slash: This technique is similar to the dragon snap
technique, except instead of being focused through a finger
snap, this technique is channeled through a sword or bladed
weapon slash. This can be used with either flame or lightning
just like the dragon snap, but is executed differently. The user
instead uses their bladed weapon to fire a shockwave of power,
which concentrates the oxygen in the air, combined with a slight
spark of their flame powers so the attack wave is an explosive
wave, and blows up when it hits something. And the lightning
variation uses lightning, channeling high vibration to create
more static electricity, and when the user fires the slashing
wave, the wave becomes not only super charged with electricity,
but also is able to cut through almost anything due to the high
vibration of the attack wave that generates the electricity.
This technique was another one that Father Hei copied from Adam
Taurus-Darkfire.
- White Flame Mirror: This technique creates a large defensive
shield of white flames. This is designed to block attacks,
melting almost anything that comes into contact with the flame
wall. This wall creates a solid barrier, despite it's flame-like
appearance. Father Hei can either generate this as a large wall,
or create a barrier around himself with this power. While the
wall is strong enough to block projectile attacks, enough force
can break the wall or barrier, as stronger opponents with more
powerful projectiles can break through this power. This is also
easily breakable with aura breaker weapons or anything that
dispels elemental energies. Should he require more power, Father
Hei can also use this with his holy lava manipulation, but this
requires more power. However, using his lava manipulation does
make the skill more effective as the wall can be amped with
earth to use as a shield instead of just flames.
- White Flame and Holy Lightning Double Soul: Using this, Father
Hei creates white flame clones and holy lightning clones which
can help him in battle, a technique he picked up from V and Vin
using lightning clones. Usually, this power is meant to be used
where the clone is created in front of him as Father Hei is
attacking, attacking the opponent to catch them off guard so
Father Hei can attack them from behind the clone as either the
clone will be dispelled by a hit, or the clone will attack, then
disperse so Father Hei can get an attack in while the opponent
is trying to recover. This technique is meant to be a quick
clone attack technique, similar to V and Vin's substitution
jutsu. The best way for opponents to avoid this is to simply be
aware of Father Hei and the clone's attack, assuming the
opponent can keep track of both. Though Father Hei often uses
the hiding spot behind the clone so the opponent can't see the
attacks he sets up as the clone attacks.
- Holy Fire Fist: This technique is very similar to the chidori
technique, where Father Hei concentrates the holy flames in his
fist into a highly concentrated attack designed to pierce armors
and heavy defenses. These flames are designed to melt almost
anything they hit, as the technique is designed to melt defenses
to make piercing easier. This technique takes what appears to be
a simple punch and turns it into an attack designed to punch
through even a solid steel wall. However, while powerful,
opponents can still dodge this technique, as it still requires
Father Hei to hit them to pierce their defenses. This can also
be countered by other techniques like the chidori, including
variations designed in other elementals. Of course, concentrated
ice can also counter this, if one concentrates ice the same way.
This is a combat technique which is very effective.
- White Firefly Orbs: This technique creates small fire orbs
which Father Hei controls similar to his elemental familiars,
which fly after an opponent. These glow with a bluish white
light, resembling fireflies as they fly at opponents. When they
hit their opponent, they explode in bursts of holy flames,
designed to do massive explosive damage for both holy flame
damage and impact damage. Even when hit with all of them,
stronger opponents can still survive though, as this technique
is designed to barrage an opponent or group. Though the best way
to survive this is not get hit by it. Attacking Father Hei will
make him lose control of the orbs temporarily, and if the orbs
hit anything else, they will also explode, which means that any
projectile can be used to destroy them. Of course, it's also
advisable not to get too close to one that explodes, as their
explosions are bigger than one might think.
- White Flame Pillar: Using white flames, Father Hei can push
his flames into the ground, and have them come up in a large
white flame pillar from the ground underneath his opponent. This
is meant to be a surprise to opponents in which they are
attacked from under the ground. Though Father Hei has to control
the flames to tell them where to come up from, he can make this
happen anywhere his flames can travel too. This is a powerful
technique, though it can be dodged as the ground heats up
beneath the opponent before the flame pillar comes up from the
ground. This is best used when an opponent is stationary, as
fast moving opponents who won't stay in one place, or won't stay
on the ground probably won't be hit by this. Father Hei can also
turn into his elemental form and go underground, also generating
this from under the ground in his elemental form.
- White Flame Spear: This is a combination of his holy vampire
power and his white flames, which is his ultimate flame attack.
This ability requires Father Hei to pierce his opponent's heart
with his holy flame spear and only works the way it's intended
when it hits the heart. When this is done specifically, one of
three things will happen. If the person is holy or innocent of
evil (To include people who believe they're fighting for justice
even if they kill people), then this attack does nothing at all,
making it useless on good-natured people and anyone of holy
nature. If the person has evil in them and wants to be purified,
then this technique purifies them of the darkness in them and
turns the darkness to holy power, and can make them into a holy
version of whatever they are, converting their powers in the
process from dark to holy power. The last outcome is in those
that are evil and don't want to be purified. These people are
consumed by white flames until they are completely incinerated,
and works as a way to essentially destroy those who are unholy.
However, stronger opponents must be weakened before this can be
used, or they may eventually overcome it.
- Holy Magnetic Technology Manipulation/Disruption: Another use
of Father Hei's magnetism abilities is that he is able to
interact with technology, often making it do what he wants. This
technique is essentially designed to let him override
technology, or disrupt it. He can control technology to an
extent, but AIs or electromagnetic shielding can prevent him
from doing this so easily. Often, this is meant more to disrupt
or control it temporarily, and when used, Hei can control
computer systems and mechanical opponents with inadequate
defense against this. Though with more and more technology being
shielded from magnetic and electrical intereference, this has
become much harder to use in recent years with the advancements
in electromagnetic shielding. While Father Hei can use this,
he's nowhere near as experienced with interacting with
technology as people like his sons are.
- Holy Concentrated Lightning: This lightning technique is
designed to be used on insulators like rubber and wood, objects
that don't conduct a magnetic charge normally. When used, this
heavily concentrated lightning can run through rubber and wood
techniques, which would normally be immune to lightning. This
uses immense amounts of lightning, requiring a lot of power to
do, but the user can use this to hurt even an earth user using
wood to try and negate his lightning. However, doing this for
extended periods can severely wear out the user due to the
amount of electrical energy needed to do this. While it doesn't
look like much energy when most users use it, it uses far more
energy than one thinks in order to use this.
- Holy Lightning Blade/Chidori: This technique is pretty well
known, having been made famous among ninjas, and further used by
the Darkfire Clan. This essentially lets the user create a
concentrated lightning blade, designed solely for piercing power
over anything else. This technique is designed so that it can
pierce armor and shields, making it very dangerous if one isn't
prepared. This concentrated lightning attack can be used in a
few different forms, such as Chidori Senbon which fires a
collection of chidori spears at opponents, Chidori Spear which
forms a spear of concentrated lightning around the hand which is
fired at an opponent like an extending spear, and Chidori
Stream, which turns the user into a conduit of concentrated
lightning which pushes back opponents and can amp the user's
power in physical combat so they can pierce opponents defenses
using the chidori as an amp. This technique is still best dodged
rather than blocked, as this was designed for piercing defenses,
so it can pierce most defenses unless one has specific defenses
designed for this technique.
- Holy Lightning Ring Blade: This was a variation of his
brother's technique, where Father Hei fires a large ring of holy
lightning in front of him. Once the ring is fired, it stops not
far from him, and then fires a small collection of smaller
lightning blasts, which try to surround the opponent and
electrocute them from all sides. This technique was designed to
have the lightning track opponents, requiring fast reaction in
order to dodge, as the lightning can zigzag around to track
opponents as the lightning is controlled by Father Hei. This
technique is best used at medium range, but can be used at long
range if used properly. This technique is best take out by
shorting out the ring before it fires, using water or wind to
short out or dispel the ring, or dodging the ring's lightning.
Attacking Father Hei can also make him lose focus on controlling
the lightning as well.
- Holy Concentrated Lightning Sword: This is similar to some
opponents who create weapons out of energy, Father Hei creates a
sword from concentrated lightning from his hand so that he can
more easily pierce opponents with his lightning (Similar to Goku
Black's ki blade). While not as effective as some powers that
use this, this concentrated sword can be used to fire
concentrated lightning attacks, even focusing his chidori. This
can slice through some armors and shields, though isn't really
meant for that as it's meant more to generate more lightning
while in contact with metallic objects, amping itself, and
allowing it to electrocute opponents when slashed. Though it may
sound intimidating, one can block this weapon with other energy
weapon equivalents, or use something like water which can short
out the lightning that makes up the sword.
- Holy Lightning Turret: This uses lightning either generated by
Father Hei or generated from the sources around him, in which he
can create small bullet like projectiles, firing them in a rapid
fire fashion like a machine gun. These bullets are small
concentrated lightning projectiles designed to be fired like
bullets designed or piercing, and with the number that Father
Hei can make, is designed to overwhelm an opponent with numbers
of small lightning projectiles rather than hitting them with
bigger projectiles. Because of their smaller size, they are much
faster, and have almost as much piercing power as the chidori,
but because of their small size, they don't do too much damage,
usually requiring an opponent to get hit by a large number of
these to really get the most out of this technique. Father Hei
can also use his projectile celerity power to speed up the
projectiles as well. This technique is extremely useful in
trying to attack fast opponents due to the technique being able
to be rapid fired and using far faster projectiles than normal
bullets. However, faster opponents and people who use high speed
stepping methods can still dodge this.
- Holy Lightning Combat Amp: This uses Father Hei's lightning to
amp his combat abilities, letting him move faster and hit harder
by charging his body and amping his body's muscles and nerves
using the electrical charge. This is just a physical combat amp
though, and not one that amps his lightning or other vampire
abilities. Opponents with similar amp abilities can easily do
this as well. And after seeing Vin absorb lightning to boost
herself, Hei learned to absorb other types of lightning so that
he could temporarily gain combat amps from other lightning
types, such as being able not just amp him but to use ice
through physical touch when amped by ice lightning. Though some
lightning like corrupted lightning, he cannot absorb. Mostly he
can only absorb neutral lightnings and holy lightnings, as he
cannot absorb dark lightning, demonic lightning or corrupted
lightning.
- Holy Lightning Psychic Overload: When using this, Father Hei
can use physical touch to overload someone's nerves, essentially
shutting down most of their nerves for movement. This is
designed partially to immobilize, or interrupt someone's ability
to send nerve signals through their body, often confusing the
body on what signals are to do what. Opponents may find that
moving a finger moves their leg, or moving their arm moves their
neck. Opponents with enough combat adaptability can eventually
adapt to this, once they know how their body works after the
nerves are overloaded, though this usually takes a round to
adapt to. And this technique only lasts for up 5 rounds maximum.
- Holy Lightning Pyschic Interruption: This is the reverse of
Father Hei's overload technique, where instead of causing an
overload, he can jump-start his nervous system if he's affected
by psychic power which tries to control his nerves. Using his
lightning, he can electrocute himself, usually psychic holds on
his body if his disciplined mind can't handle it. This technique
is usually used on himself or his allies, and very useful
against those with psychic abilities if they get a hold on him
or an ally. While painful, this isn't really meant to do damage,
but more just to jumpstart his nervous system or can even be
used to jumpstart his heart if his heart is under the effects of
a power that tries to destroy his heart.
- Holy Lightning Beam: Father Hei can fire beams of concentrated
lightning, which are designed for piercing opponents. These fire
small beams about the size of a knife blade, which blast through
opponents. This is designed to pierce shields and armor. Though
because of how small the beam is, it's possible to take a hit
from it and not die, as the beam mostly just passes straight
through an opponent, and unless it hits a vital, opponents can
easily take multiple hits from this technique. This is more of a
technique to cause extreme pain to an opponent through constant
piercing, not so much it being a death move unless it pierces a
vital organ.
- Holy Lightning Flash: This lightning attack generates a large
stream of lightning which is designed to fire at an area with no
specific target in mind. This can generate lightning to attack a
group of people in one area, or be used to try and hit a fast
opponent if the opponent can usually dodge Father Hei's attacks.
This attack is designed to hit an area wherever Father Hei
points his hand, which fires the attack. This attack is useful
for hitting an area, but in order to keep it up for long, it
requires more energy than he is usually willing to put out in a
fight. Opponents are better off finding cover and using it when
this attack comes rather than trying to dodge. A good energy
shield or using something in front of them will block the
lighting from hitting them as long as they aren't hit by it
while hiding behind something. If one does hide from it, they
only need to cover the front of them, as using something to
block it means it won't loop around and electrocute them from
the back, as it only goes in one direction.
- Holy Volt: This is a higher level lightning power where Father
Hei generates lightning around him, which heats up the air
around him and generates more static electricity in the air
around him, letting him use his lightning around him to generate
more lightning which he can either absorb or fire at opponents.
This is a useful technique for generating more heat and
lightning for himself to absorb, which works great with Father
Hei's skillset. Though usually, he does this so he can generate
lightning he fires at opponents. This technique is pretty
simple, but quite effective. Opponents who want to stop this
technique should either try to dispel the heat and static around
Father Hei, or simply get him wet using water attacks to short
out the static he gathers.
- Divine Judgement: This is Father Hei's final attack, in which
he uses a storm overhead (there has to be a storm present to
even use this technique), and generates his most large scale
attack he has in his arsenal. This uses his lightning power,
firing it up into the sky and using it as a conduit to create
his attack. When the attack is fully charged, it takes the form
of a giant lightning bird, which then comes down and attacks the
opponent, being made to explode on the opponent in a large
explosion of lightning. This is made of Father Hei's holy
lightning, simply requiring the lightning to bond to it in the
sky to turn it into it's final larger form. This technique,
while Father Hei's most powerful technique, requires a lot of
concentration of his power to create the storm and maintain it
while the attack is created, and is a one shot technique, in
that it can only be used once before the storm dispels and
Father Hei has to do it again. However, he rarely ever has the
energy to use this power twice, as usually he only uses this
when he's weakened an opponent and when he knows it will hit,
which is usually at a point where he only gets one chance. And
of course, a storm has to be going overhead for this technique
to even be possible.
Holy Vampire Race Abilities:
- Holy Vampire Spirit Energy: This energy comes from the spirit
of the holy vampire, and is the sum of all of their holy vampire
power. Most holy vampire powers work on their spirit power, with
exceptions to unique abilities that require other energies. This
energy is a basic energy which is summoned by holy vampires,
usually to use special techniques. When holy vampires are
changed, their normal vampire energy becomes holy in nature,
becoming all positive with no dark energy in their soul. Because
of this, the holy vampire not only has pure positive power, but
this also means that unless a holy vampire finds a way to
convert their holy vampire energy back to vampire energy, they
cannot be changed back to normal vampires. This energy is just
like what one would expect, and is a passive power source,
though some vampires can create attacks with this energy. If
used for attack, then this follows the same rules as standard
spirit energy and can be countered as such.
- Holy Vampire Magic: When vampires are changed to holy
vampires, any magic ability they had is converted over to holy
magic, powered by holy vampire energy instead of normal vampire
energy. And when a holy vampire gains holy vampire power, they
do gain a bit of magic power as well, able to use holy vampire
magic to some extent. This could be as simple as elemental
magic, support magic, or some can also use holy attack magic.
This depends solely on the holy vampire, as some even have
specialty magic they can use. This magic also forms a basis for
some of their holy vampire abilities and their holy vampire arts
(more later) as the holy vampire magic amps their spirit's
power. Many can develop their own magic, while some can stick to
basic magic. Though since this is magic, it can be countered as
such, with it's most obvious counter being dark magic which can
more easily counter holy magic. For Father Hei, he uses mostly
holy attack magic, including being able to use all of the
powerful holy arts skills, as he developed almost all of the
holy arts skills with help from the soul reaper who taught him
the skills to convert.
- Sacred Barrier: One of the holy vampire magic techniques
Father Hei developed as a variation of the technique used by his
world's human his formula used blood from. This power lets a
holy vampire create a barrier around an area, usually in their
own unique way depending on their skillset and abilities. This
could be as simple as an elemental barrier, to using a mark to
create a barrier. The barrier can be made into almost any shape,
or just do something simple like close off a room. This barrier
is designed to trap anyone inside, making it where they cannot
leave. This also negates teleportation as well when used, making
it so anyone inside can't teleport, unless it's a type of tech
teleport, as supernatural types of teleportation are negated.
This barrier, should one want to break it, is easiest broken
from the outside, or one can go underground under the barrier's
influence. Though one who is a tough enough supernatural type
can break the barrier with enough force if they put enough force
into it, though the barrier is strong and designed to resist
direct attacks. For Father Hei, he opens up a bible, and holy
magic makes the bible pages create his sacred barrier technique,
which is very similar to the human's technique he gained this
power from.
- Holy Teleportation: A technique similar to sacred barrier,
this lets a holy vampire teleport using similar methods. Similar
to sacred barrier, this can be quite simple, like using a mark
to teleport, or using an object to teleport. This is another
technique completely dependant on the holy vampire and how this
ability is manifested for them. Most holy vampires are able to
travel anywhere they wish through this teleportation, going
anywhere in the world, as long as the place they go allows
teleportation and isn't warded against vampires in general. The
vampire also has to know where they're going, or they could end
up going somewhere random. This technique is solely for getting
around, taught as an alternate to Father Hei's Darkfire training
for those who aren't trained in Darkfire arts. For Father Hei,
like his sacred barrier, he opens a bible and uses bible pages
to do this.
- Holy Talisman Wards: A holy vampire is able to use their holy
power to ward off evil, casting out many dark spirits and other
high level darkness type creatures using powerful holy vampire
spirit power combined with powerful warding. This technique
doesn't require an object, only the user's own holy vampire
power to use. They can do this with any of their special holy
type powers, with different types of holy energy being useful
for different situations. Usually, this also requires knowledge
of supernatural hunting and whatever the holy vampire is trying
to ward off. This can be used in multiple ways, being very
useful for casting away dark spirits and other hurtful presences
like demons, making it useful for exorcisms. However, stronger
darkness opponents are able to break through this warding with
enough effort, and this is really only useful for warding areas,
and doesn't work too well in open areas. This most often takes
the form of small papers filled with holy power, which are then
attached to surfaces to create a powerful warding around an
area.
- Enochian Warding: Another warding technique of the holy
vampires, developed by Father Hei himself. This was designed
after old types of warding, some used on angels, and some on
demons, as well as some being used on other beings. Depending on
what the ward is specifically for, certain Enochian sigils can
be used quite effectively in order to fight or trap certain
types of creatures. Most holy vampires would immediately think
of trapping demons or other standard vampires, though this also
lets them use certain sigils to trap angels or even some other
types of supernaturals. Depending on the sigil used, the Enocian
sigils are very useful, though this not only requires knowledge
of Enochian or to be taught it, but also requires supernatural
hunting knowledge and how to use these sigils the most
effectively.
- Holy Area Sanctification: Through simple prayers, a holy
vampire can sanctify an area as holy land, such as a graveyard,
or church, by using this power to spread their holy influence to
the area around them. This takes a lot of prayer, and takes a
lot of power to use, as this is more for establishing a holy
area, not necessarily defending an area. This is designed so
that when used, the area becomes a high powered holy area, in
which anything unholy is weakened in power when in the area, as
it works the same as going into a church or other sancitified
area. Anything unholy can be weakened, while anything holy can
be strengthened by this. This technique is most often used by
holy vampires on areas they frequent, usually to discourage
attacks from happening, or just making a place a safe haven for
some creatures from unholy creatures. While unholy creatures can
still step on holy land, and stronger unholy creature won't be
nearly as affected, this is still very effective if a holy
vampire has the time and effort to set this up.
- Holy Attack Wards: This is a type of paper ward that Father
Hei developed to directly attack opponents. This art is designed
to be used mainly to throw directly at opponents, in which they
then attack and damage opponents with holy energy as the wards
take effect and start purifying an opponent. These wards can
also be used by the holy vampire to amp their defense and attack
power against certain types of creatures, such as using wards
against demons and attaching demonic wards to themselves to amp
their power and defense against demons specifically. However,
like the other ward types, this requires knowledge of not only
the ward power in general, but also supernatural hunting
knowledge of whatever is being warded against. And this can only
be made to ward against one type of creature at a time, making
it useless against groups of different types of creatures.
However, this is perhaps one of the tougher methods of warding,
as it's designed to be used aggressively against enemies. Those
caught in this usually can break free if they're strong enough,
or use their power to destroy the wards, assuming they have the
power to overcome the wards. If they don't though, they will
rarely die, just weaken to a point where they will often be able
to be cast out, or to where they can be killed by the holy
vampire.
- Bible Page Wave: This is a technique developed by Father Hei
designed specifically to attack unholy opponents using bible
pages, a technique he had the idea for from his sacred barrier.
He developed this attack power in which all it uses is a magic
spell and a bible, which can have bible pages fly from the book
and attack an opponent, similar to the attack wards. This power
essentially works the same way, except instead of using attack
wards, this uses bible pages. While the bible is holy in nature,
this is further amplified when the holy vampire using this uses
bible verses in conjunction with this power, as holy power and
scripture is designed to amp this ability considerably.
Depending on the holy vampire, they may have different verses
they use for this, as some believe in different verses more than
others. This is meant to be used as an attack wave, attacking
opponents with pages that attach to them and attempt to purify
them.
- Holy Sealing Wave: This power was designed by Father Hei to
seal away threats. After seeing powers like the Mafuba/Evil
Containment Wave, Father Hei developed a similar technique using
holy vampire magic which is designed to seal away an opponent.
If an opponent is caught in this, the holy vampire can seal them
inside of an object, which can be anything that is available. In
order to use this, the holy vampire simply needs an object,
preferrably something with a lid, which they can use to trap the
opponent. Then, the holy vampire has to fire the wave as an
attack wave at an opponent. If the wave hits an opponent, then
they are sucked into the wave, assuming they can't reverse the
wave (as some enemies have counter containment wave techniques),
and then the holy vampire has to manipulate the wave into the
object. If the opponent doesn't escape the wave, then the holy
vampire needs only put the lid on the object, and put the
special sealing talisman on the object, which then creates the
seal which traps the opponent inside. As one might expect, this
is difficult to use, and only best used if the holy vampire
knows they can hit with the wave, otherwise this technique is
useless. And opponents who can use counter containment waves can
reverse this back on the user, which means the user has to be
careful when using it.
- Holy Ink Familiar Summoning: This is a technique that Father
Hei developed similarly to his elemental familiars, except that
he developed this so that those he teaches could use a technique
that doesn't rely on Darkfire training. This technique requires
simply drawing creatures on a piece of paper, and then using
their holy vampire magic to manifest and summon whatever they
draw. Depending on what they draw, the familiar can have
different attack styles, such as birds attacking with their
talons, or wolves attacking with claws and biting others. This
uses the ink to generate holy familiars to help the vampires, as
normally holy vampires wouldn't be able to use some familiar
techniques, and grants an advantage so the holy vampire can
attack opponents with these holy ink familiars. The familiars
are solid and work very similarly to elemental familiars, as
they are essentially designed from a combination of the warding
techniques and a familiar technique.
- Animal Spirit Bonding: Depending on the holy vampire, Father
Hei developed as kill which lets vampires who could take
familiars bond animal spirits, creating permanent familiars that
can be summoned in anyway the holy vampire summons familiars.
For the most part, this can be just like the holy ink familiar
summoning, or the user can use their own blood as summoning.
This is dependant solely on the holy vampire in question. The
animal spirits have to be fed on, and the animal spirit bonded
to the holy vampire, but once done, this allows a special bond
to be created between vampire and familiar. When done, the
vampire and familiar are bonded, not just in soul, but in senses
as well, as the familiar shares its senses with the holy
vampire. This can only be used on animals as a holy vampire
though, as holy vampires can only feed on animals because of
their nature change. They cannot use this on humans or other
supernaturals. When destroyed, the familiar can still be
resummoned, though this costs energy to keep summoning the
familiar. The familiar can only be severed with a soul eater
weapon/power, and severing connection with it's host.
- Blood Purification/Holy Healing: Holy vampires are able to not
only purify their own blood from things like poisons and other
supernatural afflictions, but they can also purify others
through physical contact. This lets a holy vampire not only
purify someone, but can also heal them if they are injured using
their holy vampire magic. This not only makes holy vampires
immune to things that could forcibly change their blood (for the
most part), but also lets them stop changes in others, often
letting them purify whatever is causing the change and remove it
while healing the person they're purifying. This cannot change
someone who has already changed completely, nor can it save
someone from death, as if they are fully changed, then the holy
vampire must use some sort of purification technique to change
them into a holy creature (which currently only a few holy
vampires can do). This is a useful skill for helping others,
especially since most holy vampires turned by Father Hei are
allied with the Church or some other religious group helping
others.
- Exorcisms and Casting: Holy Vampires, thanks to the arts
developed by Father Hei, allow holy vampires to exorcise
possessing spirits and beings, specifically things like demons
that control people's minds. This works through physical
contact, in which the holy vampire puts their hands on the
person's head, then either focuses their holy power or uses a
warding spell to cast out a creature. This uses the holy
vampire's power directly, instead of relying simply on paper
wards. This skill is useful not just for demons, but other
possessing creatures as well, as this can also even be used
against angels who possess humans. While holy vampires normally
wouldn't fight angels, this does also work on fallen angels, who
follow similar rules to angels. This also works on dark spirits
and other possessing forces. This is essentially letting a holy
vampire exorcise unholy and possessing creatures in almost the
same manner angels do. And depending on chants and spells used,
it's possible to boost this further when used. However, this
usually doesn't kill, as it's only meant to cast out, and is
usually only good for casting out possessing spirits until the
holy vampire sets up defenses against possession on the person
having the exorcism done on.
- Holy Arts: One thing Father Hei learned during his time
building his holy vampire skills, was that he managed to learn
Soul Reaper attack and defense Kido, which he converted into his
own holy attack and defense arts. This ended up being repurposed
and developed by the church, developing arts that could be used
by the Church members. However, due to the incomplete knowledge
of Soul Reaper Kido, much of the arts of Kido were left unknown,
with only a collection of Kido skills being used, as not all the
skills were developed. However, those that were became the basis
of the holy arts which are still used by Father Hei and those
trained by him. Most users of these arts are limited to the
number they can learn, depending on what they have an affinity
for, as it often takes years to learn how to use some of the
more advanced arts. For Father Hei though, he is one of the few
that uses all of the arts, since he developed them. All of these
arts have their own strengths and weaknesses, and their own
attack and defense style, and each has their own type of
counter. Most of the attack arts are able to be dodged, while
the defensive arts are mostly for blocking attacks and
paralyzing opponents temporarily. Of course, many demons over
the years have developed similar arts based in unholy power and
can also use these to counter the holy arts.
- Holy Regeneration: Holy vampires have basic regeneration, in
which they can regenerate from many injuries as long as their
hearts and brains aren't destroyed. This lets them recover with
advanced healing from many manners of injury, letting them heal
from cuts and wounds very quickly, or regenerating body parts
that are cut off. This is separate from any holy vampire's
enhanced regenerations (Like the Darkfire regeneration), and is
just the holy vampire's body's simplest form of regeneration.
This requires almost no energy to use, however, not having any
energy slows this regeneration immensely, and regeneration
negation can negate this regeneration entirely using
regeneration negation powers or using metals like varanium.
- Paladin Armor: This technique is a power that lets a holy
vampire defend against attacks by hardening their holy energy
around their clothes, making their clothes like armor. This
helps them defend against attacks, and lets them dull damage
done to them immensely. When they uses this, their clothes
usually turn white and they can even use this to harden their
skin as well. Normally it's best to use this only in battle or
when the user has to, as using this for extended periods of time
can drain their energy. This means that they can only do this
for so long, and usually will only do this to avoid damage when
they need to, or dull damage to avoid unnecessary power wasting.
Stronger opponents can still break through this defense, and
dark energy users can actually break it more easily. This is
similar to aura defense in a way, but more concentrated for
simple attacks and using for more simple defense instead of just
a passive defense.
- Holy Items: Holy vampires are able to holy holy items and
weapons that normal vampires wouldn't even normally be able to
hold. And not only are they able to holy these items, but they
are able to also gain power from holy items, from boosts to
being in a holy area, or from doing things like gaining energy
from drinking holy water, or gaining power from holy weapons.
This makes holy items a great benefit for the holy vampire, as
they not only are what a holy vampire has to use to fight at
times, but also granting them power. However, usually the power
boost is not as much as one would think, such as holy water only
providing a little recovery of lost energy or holy land just
slightly boosting a holy vampire's abilities. However, this
makes fighting a holy vampire difficult if one tries to fight a
holy vampire on their own terms (AKA in holy areas or if they're
equipped with enough holy weapons/items) as holy vampires will
often have an advantage when equipped or in the right areas.
Holy Arts:
- Holy Art #1 Sho (Thrust Wave): This fires a small burst of
energy from the index finger with great force. This can be fired
multiple times. This energy is just a short burst of power which
can be used to hit an opponent with pure concussive force. The
spirit energy doesn't do anything beyond just doing impact
damage. This technique can be very easily dodged by fast
opponents as this technique is fairly small. This isn't too
strong, but it can still be useful in a fight.
- Holy Art #4 Byakurai (Pale Lightning): This technique uses
highly concentrated spirit energy to fire a bolt of lightning to
use against a target. This technique is desigend for piercing an
opponent, and can blast through armor if it hits an opponent.
This technique is hard to block, but can still be dodged by
opponents. This technique is most useful at close range, where
it can be fired from the finger tips at an opponent. This
technique boasts piercing power, even though it's not too strong
of an attack.
- Holy Art #7 Gaki Rekko (Raging Light Fang): This technique
creates a circle of energy, which then fires multiple blasts of
green energy at an opponent from all sides of the circle.
Usually one will use some sort of weapon, generating a wave
which becomes the circle of green energy to focus the attack.
This technique specializes in trying to overwhelm an opponent
and hit them with multiple attacks as it fires a collection of
spear like projectiles. Fast opponents can dodge these, or use a
technique for blocking the attack.
- Holy Art #11: Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound Lightning): This technique
releases an electrical current using spirit energy from the
hands, electrocuting anything the user is in contact with. This
technique can be used to electrocute someone, or be used to
electrocute an object that can hold the charge and do more
damage to opponents with the electrical damage. If this doesn't
hit an opponent, eventually this dispels, and has to be recast,
but while in effect, it basically works like a taser to anything
the electrical energy comes into contact with. This doesn't kill
opponents, as it's more for knocking them out.
- Holy Art #12 Fushibi (Ambush Flare): This technique creates a
net out of spirit energy, sticking to surfaces it touches. This
net is designed to trap opponents in it, and then explode to
damage an opponent. This technique can be detonated simply by
having it explode when it hits a target, or the user can
detonate it with a heat based move or kido to detonate it before
it hits something. Many users of this combine it with the Holy
Art art Shakkaho, as it works best with this technique to ignite
it. Fast opponents can avoid the net, or defend against the
attack if they can resist the explosion of spiritual energy.
- Holy Art #22 Jugeki Byakurai (Heavy Strike Pale Lightning):
This is a modified version of the normal Byakurai technique,
which is more highly concentrated and takes the form of a narrow
red beam. This technique is designed to pierce opponents, with
even more power than the normal Byakurai, even being able to
pierce opponents from a considerable distance away. This
technique is designed for higher level opponents that normally
wouldn't be pierced by the normal Byakurai. While this can be
dodged, it is unwise to block this technique as it is designed
for piercing defenses. Even though it is a red beam instead of a
white one, other than being more concentrated, this isn't too
different from Byakurai.
- Holy Art #31 Shakkaho (Red Fire Cannon): This move generates a
red ball of spiritual energy from their hand or from both hands.
This technique can be small or large depending on how much
energy is put into it. The blast can be similar to a fireball,
or be fired like a beam at opponents. This technique is
explosive, and expldoes when it hits it's intended target.
Opponents can block this explosion of spiritual energy, or dodge
it if they can move fast enough. This technique is one of the
easiest to learn, and is more often than not one of the main
kido techniques soul reapers learn as it is very useful in
battle. The strength depends solely on how much energy is put
into this, but more energy put into this means more energy spent
using the attack.
- Holy Art #32 Okasen (Golden Flash): This technique creates a
yellow spirit energy orb in front of the user, which then turns
into a sharp golden wave that is then fired at opponents. This
is designed to slash opponents when fired. This normally uses a
sword as a catalyst, which can generate a larger slashing wave.
However, if one wants to make a smaller, more concentrated wave,
they can use their hand as a catalyst to create and fire the
wave. The wave is fired at the same angle the sword's blade or
hand is held. Fast opponents can dodge this technique, but this
is another technique that is hard to block as it can actually
slice through some armors and shields.
- Holy Art #33 Sokatsui (Pale Crash Down): This technique
creates a powerful blast of spiritual energy that can be fired
at an opponent. This technique can be fired like a simple blast
of blue energy, or can be fired in a large wave at an opponent.
This technique just explodes with raw spiritual energy power,
and is designed to explode when it hits an enemy. This technique
is designed more for power and can even be used to damage high
level opponents. This can of course be dodged, though block this
can be dangerous as the force of the blast can knock opponents
back even if they can block the explosion.
- Holy Art #45 Kongobaku (Adamantine Blast): This technique
concentrates and fires a large red explosive red sphere at an
enemy, using spiritual energy to focus the heat and create an
explosive attack. This is the fire equivalalent of the Holy Art
art Sokatsui, and fires a fire blast instead of a lightning
blast. The two can be used to counter each other, and work very
similarly as this can be used to fire at an opponent and then
explode to damage them with an explosion of heat and spiritual
energy. This can be dodged, and blocked by opponents who can
block the explosion.
- Holy Art #54 Haien (Abolishing Flames): This technique fires a
smaller, faster oblong blast of purple energy at an opponent.
This technique is designed to incinerate matter of whatever it
touches, being able to pierce armors and shields. When the
technique hits, it can be made to explode to try and do more
damage, but once the blast explodes, it loses it's ability to
incinerate matter, and simply explodes like many Holy Art
spiritual energy attacks. This technique is useful in that it
can pierce opponents, then be made to explode to do more damage.
Faster opponents can still dodge this technique, and the
incineration of matter only happens to matter that comes into
contact with the attack. However, the downside to this attack is
that it costs more power than some Holy Art arts, only being
useful for it's incineration of matter.
- Holy Art #57: Daichi Tenyo (Upturned Earth Dance): This
technique uses spirit energy to create a telekinesis effect,
lifting up objects and opponents around the user. This technique
can then be used to hurl everything in any destination the user
chooses. While this is useful for lifting up opponents, it does
no damage to them, and no other Holy Art or Holy Binding Arts
can be used while this is in effect. Once thrown, the user no
longer has any control over the opponent. This is designed to
either do impact damage when throwing someone or throwing debris
at someone, or used to counter projectile attacks and hurl them
away or at other opponents. While this doesn't do damage, if one
wants to avoid this, they can simply just not be in the 10 range
of the attack around the user.
- Holy Art #58 Tenran (Orchid Sky): To initiate this technique,
one levitates their weapon or use a motion from their hands,
spinning in a circle like a fan. Then when it builds enough
speed, the user then stops it, and the technique creates a
tornado-like blast, which is then fired at the person from
whatever was used to create the tornado. This is mostly designed
for impact damage, using wind to do concussive damage to an
opponent caught in the tornado. Opponents can dodge this, or
block it if they can withstand the tornado. This can also be
used to reflect projectiles, though this technique is a bit of a
complicated manuever for doing so, as there are plenty of other
techniques better for this that cost less power.
- Holy Art #63 Raikoho (Thunder Roar Sear): This technique
generates a yellow orb using spirit energy in the palm of one's
hand. The user then fires it's built up energy at an opponent as
a massive concentration of spirit energy which has the same
effect as a lightning strike. This is a particularly destructive
attack, and has effects similar to lightning but is simply
concentrated spirit energy. This doesn't pierce opponents,
instead shocking them with the spirit energy. Opponents can
dodge this, or block it if they can handle the amount of
destructive energy in the attack. This can be fired from the
hand or from the tip fo the sword. This technique also explodes
when it hits a target for even more damage.
- Holy Art #68 Hyoga Seiran (Glacier Vapor Storm): This
technique is a high level spell which releases a large wave of
spiritual energy, which then freezes anything that comes into
contact with the energy. This can be fired as a wave or as a
large blast, and can even be used to block other projectile
techniques fired at an opponent as long as it's not a piercing
technique or an aura breaker technique. This technique is
designed to freeze an area and freeze an opponent when they try
to block it. This technique is powerful, and can be dodged, but
it's not recommended to block it as it is designed to overpower
defenses. When it hits a target, it explodes into a large wave
of freezing spirit energy, which can leave the area where it
explodes completely frozen.
- Holy Art #73 Soren Sokatsui (Twin Lotus Pale Crash Down): This
technique is an amped version of the Sokatsui attack. This
technique is twice as powerful as the normal Sokatsui, being
able to be fired as a blast or as a wave. The user usually
concentrates the blast of energy using the tips of the fingers,
then once they achieve the amount of power they want, they do a
pushing motion forward to give the technique extra force when it
hits something. The blast is then fired at an opponent in a
manner just like the normal Sokatsui where the blast explodes
when it hits something. This is twice as potent as the normal
Sokatsui, so while it does twice the damage and damages higher
level opponents, it also costs twice as much power. Just like
the original, this can be dodged by fast opponents or blocked by
stronger opponents.
- Holy Art #78 Zangerin (Slicing Flower Ring): This technique
generates a large amount of concentrated energy into a sword or
into a hand, which is then concentrated and the user slashes
using whatever catalyst they chose for the attack. This then
fires a powerful slashing wave of pure concentrated spirit
energy at an opponent. This technique is similar to, but more
powerful than, the Okasen technique, except this technique is
blue instead of golden. Once blasted, the technique can cut
through a house, and through most of a building. However, as it
is more powerful than Okasen, it also costs more power to do.
This can be dodged by fast opponents, and blocked by stronger
opponents if they can handle the power of the slashing wave.
- Holy Art #88 Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho (Heaven-Shaking
Thunder Cannon): This technique concentrates a beam-like blast
of raw spiritual power that generates powerful electrical
energy. This is fired from the hand, and once fired, it fires a
large blast of lightning and spiritual energy. This technique
was designed to counter ceros and similar techniques. When the
technique hits it's target, it explodes with immense power and
damage. This technique is only usuable by Kido masters, as not
using it properly can break someone's arm when fired, which is
why most use their other free arm to brace their other arm. This
technique can be dodged by fast opponents, though blocking is
not advisable because of the high level of power this technique
has. However, it is blockable by stronger opponents. This
technique is very taxing, being a high level Holy Art technique.
- Holy Art #90 Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin): This technique is a
very high level spell, which seals an opponent in a black
box-like structure which is created from black/purple spiritual
energy. If one is trapped in this box, the inside of the box is
enveloped with a powerful torrent of gravity that can crush an
opponent inside, doing intense damage to an opponent. The
technique then is hit with spear-like protrusions which pierce
the box, piercing those inside. This is a very high level spell,
one that no soul reaper can ever use fully. Most soul reapers
are only able to use a third of it's power when using it, as the
technique is very difficult to master. Though even a third of
the power of this technique is still very dangerous. Dodging
this is simple enough though as one just needs to get out of the
box before it fully forms around them. It is possible to break
it from the inside, but requires a high level of power that many
opponents don't have. Those caught in this take heavy damage,
but this technique, being so powerful, is also one of the most
taxing techniques as the level 90 Holy Arts are all high level
techniques.
- Holy Art #91 Senju Koten Taiho (Thousand-Hand Bright Heaven
Cannon): This technique forms 10 powerful pink spears which are
all then fired at an opponent. The spears are made of highly
concentrated spirit energy, which explode when they hit their
target. This is another of the high level level 90 Holy Art
spells which is very powerful, but also very taxing, being the
most powerful attack spells the Kido powers have. When the
spears explode, they generate a large explosion using the pink
spiritual energy, and does intensive spiritual damage to anyone
caught in the explosion. Dodging this is difficult because of
the size of the explosion, but not impossible if an opponent is
fast enough. Dodging this power is not recommended as it is
designed to be one of the highest level spells, and the
explosions are quite large.
- Holy Art #96 Itto Kaso (Flame Sword Burial): This technique is
one of the most powerful techniques the Kido arts give, mostly
because of what must be used to make this work. This technique
uses the user's own body as a catalyst, which uses their body to
generate a large massive pillar of red fire and spiritual energy
which comes up to engulf an opponent. This almost appears like a
katana's blade coming out of the ground. This spell is very
difficult to dodge as it is designed to engulf an opponent very
quickly. However, this technique is so powerful that even at
it's lowest level, it can nearly kill the user regardless of if
the technique hits or not. This technique is designed as a
sacrificing final technique, and designed to be hard to block
and hard to dodge. Stronger opponents may survive this, and if
the user holds back enough, they can survive as well, but doing
so means the technique is also a lot weaker. This is a forbidden
art, only to be used as a very last resort.
- Holy Binding Art #1 Sai (Restrain): This technique uses a
user's power to try and restrain a target as the name implies.
The user focuses the technique to the point of their finger
tips, and then fired as an invisible wave. Once hit by it, the
spell locks their opponents arms behind their back using the
spiritual power of the technique. This can be used to only hit
one person, or hit a large group using more power. This
technique doesn't restrain someone for long, and only restrains
their arms, still letting them run around. Though when used,
this technique does have a temporary stun for opponents caught
in it. This technique can be used to temporarily stop someone to
open them up for an attack while they try to break out, or can
be used to simply restrain someone and give someone time to
either get away or get another attack ready. It is possible to
dodge this technique, but blocking it is not recommended as the
technique only requires to touch an opponent to effect them.
- Holy Binding Art #4 Hainawa (Slithering Rope): This technique
creates a crackling yellow energy rope from the hands, which is
then fired at an opponent, which is designed to wrap around and
restrain them with the rope. This rope can be moved using the
hands, as the end of the rope is always tied to the users hands.
If used correctly, once this is wrapped around an opponent, they
can actually pull hard enough on the rope, making it dig in and
damage the opponent if they have the strength to do so. Unlike
how it looks, this technique doesn't actually shock opponents,
as it is just made of spiritual energy and this technique is
still designed for restraining. Blocking is not recommended with
this technique as it can be used to grab an opponent even if it
doesn't wrap completely around. Dodging this is the best way to
avoid the move.
- Holy Binding Art #8 Seki (Repulsion): This move generates a
orb of light blue energy wherever the user wants it around their
body. Usually this goes on the back of the hand when blocking or
on the legs when one is using their leg to block a physical
attack. When an opponent strikes the technique, the are repelled
by it, taking concussive damage from the attack as it repels
them back. This technique can not only do impact damage by
blasting opponents back, but can also be used to knock an
opponent back temporarily to set up another attack. Avoiding
this technique is as simply as not hitting the blue energy orb.
The orb sticks to the spot where it's created (Aka the back of
the hand or the leg it's created on) and cannot move on it's
own, making it easy to avoid if one knows how the technique
works.
- Holy Binding Art #9 Geki (Strike): This technique is activated
by the user drawing the symbols for the technique in the air
using red spiritual energy. The user is then engulfed in the red
energy, which engulfs the opponent, causing complete paralysis
of the opponent while in effect. This technique is very useful
in that it can use energy to trap an opponent, but this only
works as long as the user keeps the technique in effect, making
it useless for anything other than stopping someone temporarily
so someone can escape an opponent, or using it so another
opponent can attack. Stronger opponents can overpower this
technique if they can overpower the spiritual energy of the
user, though this takes conscious effort to do. If one wants to
stop this technique, they have to stop the user from drawing the
symbols for the technique. This technique causes no physical
damage whatsoever, just being a technique to restrain someone.
- Holy Binding Art #17 Horin (Disintegrating Circle): This
technique generates a ball of orange spirit energy in the user's
hands, which then releases a large orange-hued tendril with a
spiraling yellow patter which can be used to ensnare and capture
an opponent similar to the Hainawa technique. However, unlike
that technique, not only is this one more powerful and harder to
break, one can create mutliple tendrils from the orb to try and
ensare opponents. If one uses more than one, they can actually
have the two fuse together depending on what the user wants to
do if it means binding the opponent. This can be dodged, though
like Hainawa, blocking is not recommended as this is designed to
wrap around and grab opponents. This also doesn't do any
physical damage, only being able to restrain an opponent. Though
a user can throw them around and into objects while they are
restrained if the user is strong enough to overpower the
opponents resistance.
- Holy Binding Art #21 Sekienton (Red Smoke Escape): This
technique creates a red smoke bomb, which is released from the
user's hands. This technique is fairly simple, as it is mostly
just for getaways. The smoke in this technique can overwhelm
those with enhanced senses, specifically sense of smell. Other
than that though, this technique doesn't do much as it's not
hurtful to opponents or those in it. This is mostly just to
confuse and disorient opponents so the user can either use it to
get away or use it to distract an opponent.
- Holy Binding Art #26 Kyokko (Bent Light): This technique is a
technique for hiding, using light bending to hide someone from
view. This not only lets one hide from view, but this technique
also hides their presence completely. When used, this technique
can make someone completely invisible, with the only way to find
them being through sense of smell or those that can sense others
even when their presence is hidden. This doesn't do anything for
defense or offense, as it is just mostly for hiding. Some
opponents can easily break through the illusion with light
powers.
- Holy Binding Art #30 Shitotsu Sansen (Triple Flash Beak
Slash): This technique is a move that lets the user generate a
triangle of crackling yellow spirit energy, drawing it with the
energy. When the triangle fully forms, the points of the
triangle create spear like projectiles which are then fired at
the opponent. Once the three spears hit the opponent, they pin
the opponent to a structure or whatever the opponent hits first.
This technique is a technique designed for restraining an
opponent, so the spears actually don't do any physical damage.
Usually this is useful for holding someone in place temporarily
while setting up another attack. Blocking the attack is not a
good idea, but an opponent can dodge the attack, as if they
aren't hit by the three spears, the technique doesn't do
anything to them.
- Holy Binding Art #39 Enkosen (Circle Lock Fan): This technique
uses both hands or the zanpakuto in a blocking motion, which
generates a yellow spinning disk of spirit energy. This
technique lets someone block an attack, letting the user block
projectiles in front of them. However, this doesn't really work
well for explosive attacks, as the explosion can still damage
the user as this shield isn't too large. This also doesn't block
high level offensive attacks, but can block lower level attacks
at much less of a cost to some techniques that block higher
level attacks. Though this means that while it costs less, it's
not as powerful of a defense.
- Holy Binding Art #61 Rikujokoro (Six-Rod Light Prison): This
technique lets the user simply point at their target, then use
this spell to generate 6 beams of light which slam into the
opponents midsection. Once the six light beams are in the body,
the body is unable to move, being completely paralyzed. This is
meant for restraint, and is much easier to restrain someone.
Though the user does have to point at the person they want to
use, and opponents that move fast enough might be able to avoid
the beams by jumping straight up. This technique isn't blockable
as it hits an opponent from multiple sides. However, this
technique doesn't do physical damage, simply being a technique
that restrains an opponent. This technique can actually be used
right after the Hainawa Holy Binding Art if the technique is
wrapped around the opponent as the technique can be converted if
done correctly.
- Holy Binding Art #62 Hyapporankan (Hundred Step Balustrade):
This technique ues spiritual energy to generate a blue pillar in
the user's hands. When thrown, the pillar multiplies into a
large collection of rods as the rods move toward their intended
target. The rods can then try to overwhelm and pin an opponent
to the wall in a manner similar to Shitotsu Sansen. However,
unlike that technique, this technique is designed to use greater
numbers and works great in a closed space with less room to
dodge. Like Shitotsu Sansen, this pins the opponent to whatever
structure the pillars hit. And like Shitotsu Sansen, this does
no physical damage, being only used for restraint. This can be
dodged, though in this case, finding a way to block them is
actually better, such as using a shield or barrier so they
aren't hit.
- Holy Binding Art #63 Sajo Sabaku (Locking Binding Chain): This
technique summons a yellow energy room from above, which comes
down and wraps around an opponent. Once it wraps around the
opponent, it locks around them and restrains their upper body
and arms as it appears to tie them up with the rope. This
technique is similar to Hainawa, but instead of being fired from
the user's hands, it rains down and basically tries to wrap
itself around the intended target. Opponents can dodge this, and
if caught in it, they can try to break out of it, though it
takes a lot of physical force to do so. This is another
technique that doesn't attack people, being used only for
restraint.
- Holy Binding Art #73 Tozansho (Inverse Mountain Crystal): This
technique ignites spirit energy at a single point, which then
forms an inverted pyramid made of highly concentrated spirit
energy. This is designed to trap anything inside the pyramid,
being used to trap opponents, or can be used to trap the user
inside in order to protect them similar to how one would use a
barrier. This technique is activated by wherever the point is
ignited, which becomes the pointed end of the pyramid. Opponents
fast enough can get out of this before the pyramid fully forms,
or they might be able to break out of it with enough force. This
technique can be combined with other spells, being used after
another restaining spell to try and trap someone further (though
many techniques that work with this have to be used after this
is activated). Once inside, the trap lasts for a short time
before dispelling.
- Holy Binding Art #79 Kuyo Shibari (Nine Sun Bind): This
technique is the opposite of the Rikujokuro spell, as it uses 9
dark balls of spirit energy to bind the opponent. The first
eight form around the opponent, where the ninth one forms on the
chest of the opponent, which immobilizes them. This is meant to
be used after using a technique to restrain them, usually being
combo'd to try and restrain stronger opponents. When used, this
technique is much stronger than other binding moves, but is
harder to pull off as opponents can just move to avoid the
attack completely. This also does no physical damage, and is
only for immobilizing an opponent. This technique is strong, but
not only temporary, but costs a lot of power to use.
- Holy Binding Art #81 Danku (Splitting Void): This technique
creates a large clear wall that blocks attacks. This technique
is designed to block almost any technique that comes from one
direction, as it can be used to not only block energy
projectiles, but can be used to block other kido and Holy
Binding Art arts, as well as being able to block hollow's ceros
and many kido arts below 89. This is the strongest defensive
technique in the Holy Binding Art power set. However, this is a
defensive technique that is designed to only block attacks from
the front. Most opponents can easily go around the wall and
attack from a different side.
Genjutsu/Demon Armor Familiars:
- Raime The Fume Knight: The first of the three knights of the
Old Iron King, one of a group that challenged Hei and tried to
take Hell's Gate from him when he used to be the guardian, Raime
was a knight that used hellflire in his attacks. Raime had two
weapons, a large greatsword and a katana, which both could be
used to channel his hellfire. In battle, Raime can switch
between fast attacks and power attacks depending on the weapon
he's using. His blades are strong, with his greatsword being the
main thing to watch out for when Hei is in a fight. Raime is a
very balanced fighter, not specializing in strength, speed or
defense, and is overall more balanced compared to his two
counterparts which specialize in specific stats.
- Veldstat the Royal Aegis: Veldstat was a very strong knight,
in which he used a giant staff with a golden bell chime on it as
his main weapon. When he fought, he would often flatten people
he hit with his weapon, due to it's large size. Veldstat's
specialty was purifying darkness, with his toughest attack being
the Hex Bomb, an attack of purifying darkness which could damage
even darkness users and was Veldstat's main attack power. His
bell chime can also be rung, generating purifying darkness
energy thanks to the chime's design, which can also act as a
signal to allies as well. Veldstat's power is his biggest
strength, as his physical strength (as one would guess by the
fact he wields a giant golden bell staff as a weapon) can
compete with high level strength-based supernaturals.
- Sir Alonne The Demon Wind Swordsman: Sir Alonne was the leader
of the trio of the knights, and was a powerful swordsman who's
specialty was his demon wind abilities. Sir Alonne uses a
masamune sword, a very large and long sword designed for slicing
down people on horses. In addition to Alonne's wind, his sword
skills were very highly trained, making him a very dangerous
opponent. Alonne can use his demonic wind to amp his cutting
attacks, as well as fire tornado like projectiles at opponents.
He can also use his sword skills to slam his sword into the
ground and create a shockwave that can blast opponents back.
Alonne is much faster with his strikes than most people think,
and even though a large sword like his is predictable (as a
large sword can only be swung from above from the side), most
opponents have trouble countering him even knowing where his
attacks come from, making his speed the thing to watch out for.
He also has an attack where if he fights an enemy who is too
defensive, he can do a kick which can break someone's defense,
stunning them temporarily if it hits through reverberating force
using his wind power.
- Slicer: Slicer was a serial killer in Father Hei's world that
was punished for hunting down and killing contractors, both
Heaven's Gate and Hell's Gate contractors. Slicer is unique for
two reasons. The first is that he is the only armor that has two
soul marks instead of one, because Slicer was actually a pair of
brothers who made up one identity. The second is that Slicer is
the fastest familiar in Hei's arsenal, as Slicer was entirely
speed based in his combat abillities. His demon sword ability
for his demon armor was that he is able to use kinetic energy to
cut matter on a molecular level, making him able to cut through
adamantium with enough concentration. Slicer is perhaps the most
dangerous of Hei's familiars, simply because the speed and
cutting ability make Slicer hard to keep up with.
- Dragon-Slayer Ornstein: This familiar was a familiar who, in
Father Hei's world, killed his universe version of Drake, who
was his best friend after they met during Father Hei's years
guarding Hell's Gate. Ornstein, like his title implies, is a
dragon slayer, which means it's spear and power are dragon
hunter weapons and powers. Ornstein specializes in dragon hunter
lightning, a lightning designed to kill dragons and Ornstein can
fire this lightning from his spear or use it in his attacks.
This familiar is a very balanced figher, and specializes in
medium range or close range combat. When an opponent gets too
close though, one has to watch out, as Ornstein can slam his
spear on the ground, and generate a shockwave which blasts
everything around him back using a large impact wave.
- Pursuers: These are armors which are basic demon armors with
no soul, used by the Darkfires to practice the demon armor
familiar technique. Almost every Darkfire has a collection of
these, which have basic dark flame abilities and have a sword
and shield. These are balanced fighters, but are designed to
basically be cannon fodder as the pursuers are just mass
produced familiars, and not designed to be that strong. Though
that doesn't mean one should underestimate them, as they are
still very capable warriors. Father Hei has 10 of these he can
summon, and these work great for wearing down enemies as they're
not really worth much and easily replaced if they were
completely destroyed and separated from Father Hei. The only
downside is that these have to be controlled as an extension of
Hei's consciousness rather than letting the soul control the
familiars, similar to how Hei controls his elemental familiars,
in which he has to use a small portion of concentrate to control
them.
Combat Training:
- Expert Marksmen and Holy Weapon User: Father Hei has trained
long and hard to use his specially made holy weapons. Because of
how much effort he put into them, he has mastered using each
weapon he has, and can use each weapon to it's fullest. Mostly,
when he uses his gun, he is an expert marksmen, being able to
perfectly hit anything he aims for. Though this doesn't mean
opponents can't dodge him, it just means that he always shoots
where he aims. Opponents can still dodge the shot if they know
it's coming. Father Hei is also an expert using his knives and
boomerang crosses, and an expert in using his metallic lines to
try and trap opponents. Father Hei is a highly trained
combatant, and can fight close range just as easily as he can
long range.
- Chinese Kenpo: This is Father Hei's preferred mastered style,
learning Chinese Kenpo as it was mostly their family's favorite
martial arts style. Father Hei mastered this style long ago, and
continues to build the base of his skills in this style, which
not only improves his use of this style immensely, but make it
easier to learn new variations of this style. He specializes in
open palm attacks, using two main techiques which master both
close and medium range. This is by far Father Hei's strongest
style, as he's fought and used this fighting style for many
years. This style can be used a few ways, such as concentrating
on bone breaking and joint snapping, or just be used as a more
concentrated attack style. Unlike some, Father Hei never really
got too into the offensive part of this style, opting for the
defensive parts of the style.
- Chinese Kenpo Substyle: Taichi/Taijiquan: This substyle is a
defensive style of Chinese Kenpo, the most simple substyle to
learn. This technique is often called Tai Chi in English usage,
and focuses more on defense and health more than actual
fighting, as it's meant for self defense. This style focuses
more on health and meditation, which not only helps the body
healthy and in good condition, but also helps relieve the
effects of physical stress on the body, as those who use this
style believe a healthy body is incredibly important to martial
arts and self defense as a whole. Most know the slow moving
style which is taught as a meditation technique, but this is
only one part of the style. The second part is the art of
self-defense, which focuses on dodging and redirecting attacks,
rather than trying to meet the opposing force head on. This
style is far more defensive and is meant more for redirecting
attacks, opening up opponents, or can be used simply to outlast
opponents through good stamina management and relieving the body
of stress from combat. This was the substyle of Chinese Kenpo
that Father Hei learned during his martial arts training.
- Chinese Kenpo Substyle: Baguazhang: This style is a substyle
of Chinese Kenpo, in which the user is more balanced. Whereas
some focus on specific technique styles or specific stats, this
one is more of a balanced style, simply balancing offense and
defense rather than focusing on one or the other. This style
uses both defense and offense, and uses defense, speed and
strength, all to an even degree. This is perhaps the second most
simple substyle to learn, and while most masters of this style
may not seem like much compared to techniques like Hikaken which
have complex moves, but this style tends to be more simple,
though not as simple as the Taijiquan style, and focuses on a
balance of attacks and defensive moves to focus on both. Those
who use this technique are not weak by any means, even if this
style is very simple to use for the most part. This is mostly
for people who don't want to get too fancy, focusing on
functionality over special techniques and flashy styles. Father
Hei specializes in this substyle as well.
- Chinese Stepping Method: Kouho Haiho: This is the stepping
method used by those who use Chinese Kenpo, being derived from
the Baguazhang sub-style. This technique is focused on dodging
opponents, and specializes in moving around opponents while
they're attacking. The key to this technique is how the user
moves their feet, as when the user steps forward with the right
foot they can put all their weight on it and that leaves the
left foot free, allowing them to pivot away to the other side of
the opponent. The user leaves their upper body in place until
the very last moment, and by pivoting away, the user can easily
avoid their opponent's attacks. Once mastered, this technique
can be used to catch their opponent's off guard and be used to
take advantage of an opponent's momentum by using the technique
to trip them and throw them, making this stepping method both
defensive and offensive. This makes the user appear to move at
high speeds when moving correctly, as they are able to move
around opponents almost instantly and almost makes the user
disappear from view when used.
- Supernatural Hunter Fighting Style and Weapon Styles: This
style is a style taught as a basic supernatural hunting style by
Father Hei to those who want to learn to fight supernaturals.
This style takes advantage of not only Father Hei's experience
and how he's modified the style over the years, but takes
advantage of multiple universes worth of combat training for
hunting supernaturals. This can be a hand to hand combat style,
or be based in a weapon style. Depending on the style used by
the holy vampire, this can either act as a basic style they can
use in combat, being highly customizable, or can be a supplement
style, letting them use this to more effectively use their own
combat styles. For the most part, this style is best used as a
weapon style, since most holy vampires have their own close
combat style they usually stick to. The fundamental principles
are fairly simple with this style, as it teaches the strengths
and weaknesses of multiple races, allowing the user to do things
like stopping werewolves arms before they do a claw slash, or
striking a human form dragon's neck to stop their elemental
breath. However, the only downside is that each supernatural has
to be fought differently, as each supernatural race has
different strengths and weaknesses. For example, what works on a
vampire might not work on a werewolf or dragon.
- Supernatural Hunter Training: Almost everyone trained by
Father Hei are trained first as supernatural hunters, from being
exorcists, to hunting werewolves and vampires who hunt humans,
and even sometimes casting out fallen angels causing problems.
Thanks to Father Hei's experience and knowledge, most of the
holy vampires are fully trained by him in battling almost all
manners of supernaturals. More experienced supernatural hunters
can say just how many different types of races and sub-races
there are in one universe, let alone the multi-verse as a whole.
Under Father Hei's guidance, holy vampires are taught how to
hunt down threats to the church, though not for extermination,
as Father Hei tries to teach holy vampires to try and turn other
supernaturals to purification, though they do often end up
against fallen angels or demons. Thanks to Father Hei, all holy
vampire are trained heavily, and depending on the holy vampire,
some even develop their own experience over time as supernatural
hunters, and all holy vampires are taught strengths and
weaknesses for as many races as Father Hei can teach them.
- Tracking and Hunting Training: One thing Father Hei tries to
teach as well, in that he tries to teach all of his holy vampire
supernatural hunters how to track and hunt supernaturals who are
threats, teaching them the best ways to track down their
opponents. Father Hei teaches them very subtle things, like
telling whether a foot print is their target or not by things
like the shape of the boot and how deep the boot-print is, with
advanced trackers being able to identiy people by boot prints,
as well as also being able to tell where opponents go thanks to
things like walking on plants, and animals that are unusually
silent in a direction. Some more experienced trackers and
hunters even develop a sense of when opponents are near, and can
often gain a sense of where their opponents are going while
tracking them. Of course, with a holy vampire's enhanced senses,
this becomes even more effective as they can do things like find
traces of body heat, traces of presences, or even just telling
what's around them more easily.
- Supernatural Exorcism, Weakness and Trap Training: Of course,
every supernatural hunter has to learn how to do things like
exorcisms, and use traps for certain types of races. Those
trained by Father Hei are trained heavily in how to trap and
contain supernaturals. Holy vampires are taught things like how
to draw demon traps, how to build traps for other supernaturals,
or how to lure out supernaturals if they try to hide. Holy
vampires are also taught all manners of exorcisms, from
exorcising demons, to using Enochian sigils to cast out fallen
angels and sometimes even how to cast out angels (Only in
extreme situations). Of course, as the holy vampire trains and
learns everything Father Hei can teach them, they also
eventually develop experience with it over time, and can learn
new ways to take on supernaturals. Having training from multiple
universes, Father Hei teaches the holy vampires under his
command everything that he can.
- Stealth and Assassination Master: During his time as the Black
Reaper, Father Hei has high training in stealth and
assassination, having been an assassin for many years. This left
him with intense training in stealth missions, as he spent many
years without anyone ever even learning his identity outside of
his closest allies. Father Hei is extremely talented at stealth,
which was made even more apparent when he developed sound
manipulation, as he can negate his own sound and make it so he
can't be heard by opponents. In addition to that, he is also
great at assassinations, and using his power to assassinate
people in often simple ways. Father Hei is a very gifted
assassin, though he gave most of this up after becoming a holy
vampire, as he feels most of his battles after he became a holy
vampire should be face to face. However, he can still be very
stealthy when he wants to be.
- Master Torture and Interrogation Expert: During his years as
an assassin, Father Hei ended up having to learn how to
interrogate really well thanks to his stealth missions where he
had to infiltrate quietly and sometimes had to interrogate on
locations of his objectives. Over time, Father Hei became a
master interrogator thanks to his job as an assassin. He has
gotten good at knowing how to torture some enemies (even if he
doesn't really enjoy it), and usually knows how to get under
their skin through words as well as torture. Father Hei tends to
use whatever strategy works best for certain scenarios, such as
using force against tougher supernaturals or opponents, or
reasoning with people who seem scared of him. He is great at
playing games of intimidation, and his training has left him
with a knack for figuring out his opponents. While he mostly
reasons with people now after becoming a holy vampire, he can
still torture people if he feels it will get him better answers.
- Celerity Art: Projectile: This is a basic vampire celerity art
skill which most vampire clans teach, and is pretty easy to
learn by vampires with a speed-based skillset. This combat
technique speeds up something thrown at opponents, letting
vampires transfer their celerity combat speed to projectiles.
This speeds up an attack or weapon thrown using this training,
essentially making a thrown knife into a speed akin to a bullet.
In addition to increased speed, the increased speed also does
more damage, as not only does whatever projectile hit the
target, but the impact damage of the increased speed also does
more damage as well. Fast opponents can still dodge this, and
the attacks can still be blocked. This is designed for opponents
fast enough to dodge normal projectiles, as this technique is
designed solely for speeding up projectile techniques and making
them harder to dodge.
- Celerity Art: Flower of Death: This is a vampire celerity art
combat technique where a vampire transfers their speed with
their celerity training and applies it to their combat tactics.
This gives them a huge boost in hand to hand combat, letting
them move extremely fast in their combat and making it so they
are extremely hard to keep track of in a fight. Combined with an
already fast opponent, this art can be deadly in close combat if
the opponent can't keep up with the user. Users of this are
taught to fight in close combat at incredible speeds, enhancing
their speed, and at times, their strength as well due to the
increased speed. Those who use this are dangerous in close
combat, and when combined with techniques like Sonido and other
martial arts, this technique can make a deadly fighting style
even deadlier.
- Celerity Art: Zephyr: This celerity art is akin to comic
book-style uses of enhanced speed, where the user moves so fast
they can do things like running across water, running up walls,
and in some faster cases, running across a ceiling. This
technique requires precision control though, as one can easily
flatten themselves into a wall if they can't keep up with their
own speed. And for the most part, most vampires can only move
this fast while in motion, as when they slow down, they will go
back to their usual speed. This particular ability acts like a
high speed amp, amping the speed of vampires. However, if one
wants to train this, their best bet is to train their own speed,
as their base speed increases more with this than trying to
train the technique itself.
- Celerity Art: Sonido: This is a unique Darkfire Stepping
method designed to work with their version of the celerity arts,
a technique which Qrow and Raven adapted to teach other celerity
users as a supplement. This is a high speed stepping method,
where the user disappears from view with extremely fast foot
movement, requiring very fast footwork as well as strong legs.
While in motion, the user is usually invisible except by faster
opponents or users of similar stepping methods, and when they
slow down, they become visible again. Advanced users of this art
are even able to use the very air as stepping stones, being able
to walk on air with powerful enough steps. Though this takes
highly advanced users.
Passive and Race Skills/Abilities:
- Holy Vampire Wings: All Darkfire vampires, similar to most
vampires, have some form of vampire wings they can summon at
will. Depending on the vampire, some vampires can have special
wings based on their skill set, like Exiles Hei having
thunderbird wings instead of normal vampire wings. Most normal
vampires have bat-like vampire wings, as it's a usual standard
basis for many vampires. Depending on the wings, some wings can
have special abilities, like Exiles Hei's thunderbird wings
being able to generate lightning as they move. Normally, wings
are mostly used for flying, though some stronger wings can be
used as defense against attacks. Darkfire can also use their
elemental aura for amped defense around their wings. For Father
Hei, he has standard batlike wings, and can use his elemental
aura defense to increase the defense of his wings and use his
wings as shields to block some projectiles. His wings don't
change much, except that his wings are white instead of black
similar to how his hair color changed when he became a holy
vampire.
- Murderous Intent Sense: This lets a holy vampire sense when an
attack is coming. This technique lets the user read his
environment as well as the spirits of his opponents in order to
see what attacks might be coming their way. This gives them a
passive sense of reading people who might try to hurt them, as
they can sense when someone is ready to attack by their
murderous intent. This gives the user time to dodge or avoid an
attack, and to some extent, helps the holy vampire predict what
opponents will do in a fight. However, this sense is not
perfect, and some opponents can't be read if they have similar
skills or can disguise their murderous intent. This sense is
usually pretty reliable unless one can suppress their murderous
intent, and can give away when someone who might want to kill
him is following him.
- Natural Combat Talent: Father Hei has a natural talent for
combat. He has a knack for fighting, and growing stronger
through battles, whether it's as simple as learning about new
fighting styles, or learning new ways to counter certain
techniques. Father Hei is a highly adaptable fighter, even more
so than most people in his family. Father Hei is someone who
learns from almost every battle he's in, becoming an even more
deadly warrior over time, as Father Hei has been in many battles
and wars, both in his world and the wars going on in this world,
and learned to take full advantage of this natural talent, but
also keep his training so that he maximizes his potential.
Though at the rate Father Hei has grown over the years, he
doesn't have much growing left he can really do, only really
being able to develop new techniques for countering certain
powers and fighting styles, as he can't really grow too much
stronger in simple power at this point in his life, unless he
wants to learn a new combat style, which he's opted to stick to
what he has, and has even rejected fighting styles from other
Darkfires to avoid oversaturating his combat styles.
- Enhanced Holy Vampire Senses: Much like vampires, each holy
vampire has enhanced senses as well. For the most part, this
depends solely on the vampire, as some senses enhance more than
others depending not only on the vampire, but the specific types
of vampire. As there are many types of vampires, many vampires
can end up being different. Though most gain simple enhanced
senses, with all their senses going up slightly. Usually this
can be good or bad, as some enhanced senses can be a hinderance
as much as a help, like werewolves sense of smell also being a
weakness if used against them properly. For Father Hei, he
simply has standard enhanced senses, with all of his senses
gaining slight enhancements. Though effective at not being able
to be used against him, it also means his senses aren't as
enhanced as some other supernaturals.
- Holy Vampire Sixth Sense: Much like vampires, holy vampires
can sense the presence of other beings, and sensing who and what
they are. This can sense not only one's presence, but their
levels of energy and how tough they are, allowing the user to
gauge how they stand against them, as well as often being able
to tell what they are by their presence if the user recognizes
what kind of presence it is. However, this can be deceived by
skilled opponents, sometimes not appearing correctly if the user
can't sense the opponent's full power or use powers that fool
this sense. There are also skills that hide one's presence so
those with this sense can't sense them, or some opponents can
suppress their presence so they're not fully able to be sensed.
- Vampire Seventh Sense: Inner World: Thanks to the disciplined
mind power of the Darkfire family, those trained with it have
the ability to go into other people's minds, sending them into
their own mind or sending the opponent into their mind. This is
usually used for training purposes, but can also be used to
resist mind control powers, or other mind influences. But as an
affect of the disciplined mind training, some more advanced
users can go through someone's memories by using this ability if
the person isn't trained to push them out or resist them. Most
Darkfires only use this to train other Darkfires, rarely ever
forcing their way into minds as this works great for a mental
training ground, which is the main use for this, and for
confronting things in their mind they need to face that they
wouldn't under normal circumstances, like other personalities
that emerge in the mind.
- Vampire Telepathy: Telepathy: Much like other vampires, the
Darkfires have advanced telepathy. This lets them communicate
with others through this telepathy, letting them speak to any
mind they can connect to. This lets them communicate with other
people without having to speak, with them being able to share
thoughts directly with others. However, usually the Darkfire has
to know where the person is to use this. However, this doesn't
apply to those who establish permanent connections, such as
connecting to other family members. This lets vampires not only
communicate with those they have a permanent connect with, but
can also tell them where they are at any time should they
require to find them or need to be summoned to them. Those who
are set up with permanent connections have to accept the
connection, and even then, they can sever it if they choose to.
- Immunity to Normal Vampire Weaknesses: Holy vampires are
immune to things like stakes in the heart, and silver bullets.
Because of the change of the nature of their power, their
weaknesses change instead. Instead of silver, they are weak
against unholy gold which is gold tainted by the aura of greed,
and they are weak against Hell's Gate pieces instead of Heaven's
Gate pieces. Varanium and stilled silver still work the same way
on them though, so those metals can still negate powers or
regeneration respectively. Most vampires have their own special
weaknesses, such as some being weak to silver, gold or specific
materials depending on the pantheon the vampire is from. For
holy vampires, their weakness always change to unholy rather
than holy, since holy items grant them more power. For Father
Hei, he can still be killed if his heart is pierced or his brain
is destroyed. He's immune to normal vampire weaknesses, and is
weaker against Hell's Gate pieces and unholy gold. And of course
Father Hei is also still vulnerable to varanium and stilled
silver.
- Mana Shield: Holy vampires take little damage against any type
of magic, or mana attack. This is a special defense against
magic users and dark magic users. This grants them a defense to
magic in general, making it so they take little to no damage
from lower spells and reduced damage from higher level spells.
When fighting a holy vampire, one usually shouldn't rely solely
on magic, or they will have a hard time hurting them. However,
this is only a resistance, not an immunity, so higher level dark
magic attacks can still do more damage because of the holy
element to holy vampires. Depending on some vampires who are
converted, some may have higher defense than others if they have
more magic ability. For Father Hei, he has simple standard
resistance, not having too much magic ability, but just enough
as he's not a vampire really based in magic and the only magic
he has is what he gained as a holy vampire.
- Attach Item to Self/Weapon Telekinesis: This is a fairly basic
vampire ability that transfers over to becoming a holy vampire.
Holy vampires are able to connect weapons to their soul,
allowing them to summon their weapons from anywhere, even being
able to store them in their soul. This power lets them have a
special connection with their weapons, also making their weapons
a part of them. In doing so, not only can a holy vampire summon
their connected weapons from anywhere, but they can also control
these weapons on the battlefield, such as calling a weapon back
to them, or using it telekinetically through concentration to
attack opponents. This power lets a holy vampire interact with
their weapons far more than normal vampires would. Depending on
the holy vampire, some vampires have different arts for this,
but many use this type of connection in some form for their
weapons, and if they don't, they can learn it from Father Hei.
For Father Hei, this includes not only his gun, but also his
knives which all act as extensions of his combat ability.
- Holy Vampire Sustanence: This power is a variation of a
vampire's ability to gain sustain themselves on blood. Unlike
normal vampires, holy vampires don't sustain their power on
human blood, but instead sustain their power on animal blood.
Human blood, to a holy vampire, becomes toxic, as the nature
change allows the holy vampire to not have to drink human blood
to survive. This means that holy vampires can only sustain their
power on animal blood, in which they feed on animals the same
way other vampires feed on humans. Depending on the vampire,
some may use blood as an amplifier of their power, or some may
use blood for simple sustenance depending on the vampire as each
variation of vampire is slightly different. The main thing of
note though is that the holy vampires survive on animals blood,
and currently there is no known type of holy vampire that
survives on human blood.
- Holy Vampire Ability Gain: In addition to the normal change,
the normal vampire ability gain still works through drinking
supernatural blood, but instead of simply gaining powers the
normal way, all powers are converted to holy powers, since the
holy vampire has no dark spirit power in them. This means that
they can drink supernatural blood, gaining new powers, but any
unholy power converts to holy power, with normal powers often
either remaining normal power, or turned to holy power depending
on the holy vampire. If the power cannot be converted from dark
power, then the power cannot be gained. But in order to gain
power from supernatural's blood, the holy vampire gains both the
weaknesses and strengths of that power, and if the power is
converted, so too are the weaknesses and strengths, such as
demonic energy manipulation converting to holy energy
manipulation instead, which also changes the weakness as one
might expect.
- Disciplined Mind: This is the Darkfire's art of controlling
their mind completely. This lets the Darkfire take complete
control of the world in their mind, shaping it to their own
devices and letting the user control their mind. Each inner
world is different, and solely depends on the one with this art.
This not only lets the Darkfires control their minds, but allows
them to become immune to mind control or other attempts to
influence their mind. This also lets them enter into the inner
worlds of others, and more advanced users can slightly influence
those who's minds they enter. Though going into other's minds is
mostly as a method of training, not having too much use to a
Darkfire as they aren't too skilled in controlling other
people's minds, since every mind is different and requires
different approaches. And by controlling their minds, the
Darkfire can do things like shut down certain parts of their
mind should the need to, or manipulate their emotions at will.
For the most part, shutting down parts of their mind only helps
against opponents with psychic powers, such as shutting down
their sense of pain when an opponent uses a psychic power to
overwhelm their pain receptors. However, doing so could have
negative consequences depending on what they're shutting down.
Such as shutting down pain can lead to more damage if the
Darkfire can't process pain.
- Fool Senses: Darkfire members have a special ability which
lets them lie to people and control the fact they are lying
thanks to their disciplined mind training and suppressing the
unconscious habits of the mind when one is lying. Reading the
aura and body language, most people think they are telling the
truth, which allows the Darkfires to lie to people far more
easily than most. This power comes from advanced users of
disciplined mind training, as they learn to manipulate their
minds to fool opponents that can see into their minds. However,
only advanced users of the disciplined mind skill can do this
effectively, as they have to suppress not only the fact they are
lying, but they have to suppress their unconscious tells of when
they lie, such as some people looking away when lying, or some
having certain tells. This requires not just training in
disciplined mind, but also requires the Darkfire to know their
own self enough to know what they do when they lie to suppress
it.
- Holy Vampire Meditative/Divination State: This is a holy
technique in which a holy vampire, with the right training, can
reach a meditative state, becoming at peace and calming their
presence to the point of almost seeming like they're not there.
This is a technique that requires focus and meditation, only
being usable when meditating. However, when used, this not only
helps open up the power of the holy vampire, but also lets them
catch glimpses of possible futures through divination techniques
and their connection to the divine. This means that a holy
vampire could have visions of a possible future, in which they
could either choose to alter said future, or make sure it
happens. However, this sense can be very random at times, often
only showing whatever the divine wants the holy vampire to see,
and sometimes it's unclear if the holy vampire acting will
prevent said outcome or make it happen, as sometimes trying to
prevent an outcome is given as an option to the holy vampire so
they take action and eventually make it happen without meaning
to. However, advanced users can often meditate and reach this
state, as advanced users know not to make rash decisions based
on visions and gather more information as they often know how
visions can sometimes be a double edged sword.
- Holy Vampire/Martial Artist Enhanced Physical Stats: Though
not as skilled in martial arts as some, since Father Hei mostly
specializes in self defense, Father Hei is still a very
dangerous opponent. Not only can Father Hei fight effectively no
matter the range, but Father Hei's most dangerous attribute is
his speed. Just like one expects from almost every version of
Hei known in the multiverse, so far, Father Hei specializes in
speed more than anything, with his second best attribute being
defense. Though fast, this doesn't mean that Father Hei is weak,
as he has highly enhanced strength as well from his heavy
training weights he is always wearing, which he increased after
his loss to Leviathan. Determined to be able to hurt Leviathan,
Father Hei started training heavily in both speed and strength,
making himself stronger as well as faster, though his speed
gained from his training is not as much as his strength gained
since he's training strength over speed.
Transformations:
- Susanoo: This ability encases Hei in a large samurai created
from his massive amount of holy energy output in this form. This
is his manifestation of holy power from his transformation into
a holy vampire. This energy is almost 9 feet tall, and encases
Hei as an almost absolute defense. However, that doesn't mean
it's perfect as enough punishment will break it open and leave
Hei exposed. The problem with this transformation is that it
takes a LARGE toll on Father Hei's body to use. While the
strength gained is far greater than most transformations, the
damage it does to Father Hei's body takes days to heal as this
form weakens him to the point where he can't regenerate easily.
Susanoo has two powerful abilities. The first is it's purifying
sword. Those that are unholy can be devasted by this as it
consumes unholy energy and turns it into holy energy. This can
destroy unholy enemies very quickly as it is a very powerful
attack, but can only be used once before Father Hei runs out of
power. The other power is the sealing blade. If the opponent is
overcome by the affect of the blade, they become sealed away in
the blade. However, this is also only a one hit move before he
has to power down. This power also takes a lot of energy to
overcome an opponent, assuming Father Hei can overcome the
opponent. Father Hei has been training this form since his fight
with Leviathan and losing the fight, trying to lengthen the time
he can stay in this form. Unlike other versions of Hei, Father
Hei only has this powerup for a "transformation" (as it's not a
true transformation, but more of a construct that forms around
him thanks to his holy energy) instead of a normal Darkfire
released form. This is more of a transformation of his holy
energy than an actual transformation.
Weaknesses:
- Whether in his normal form or using his Susanoo, Father Hei
can be killed by destroying his heart or brain. Despite how
strong he may seem, he still has the same weaknesses he had
before becoming a holy vampire in terms of killing him. While
Father Hei can regenerate almost anything else, it is possible
to negate that regeneration by using regeneration negation
powers or items (such as varanium), and one can use counter
elements to slow his regeneration. For the most part, if one
wants to kill Father Hei, it's more or less the same as it was
before his holy vampire enhancement except that holy powers
can't really be used to kill him. It doesn't matter what kind of
attack pierces his heart or brain, and if it does, then it kills
him regardless.
- As a holy vampire, all of Father Hei's abilities also are weak
and counterable against demonic or dark equivalents, with high
level demonic or dark opponents likely being able to counter or
survive most of Father Hei's attacks. It's also useful to have
Hell's Gate pieces, as they also do extra damage against Father
Hei, and can negate some of his holy powers. If one is going to
fight Father Hei, it's recommended to have strong unholy,
demonic or dark powers to counter Father Hei's abilities.
Without that, one is likely not going to be able to defeat his
immense holy power. Though it is possible to negate his
supernatural attack powers using things like power negation or
stilled silver. If one doesn't have demonic or unholy power,
then an aura breaker weapon is also a great thing to have, as an
aura breaker weapon can negate almost any energy type attack
Father Hei can use on them. Or using elemental negation powers
can also work.
- Father Hei's fire and lightning are still weak to what they
would normally be weak to, and can simply be countered by using
a solid object to absorb the charge, making it so the opponent
doesn't have to get hit at all. Of course, the best power to use
against Father Hei (assuming they have enough knowledge of how
to use it) is water and ice abilities. Water and ice abilities
can counter almost anything Father Hei has in terms of
elementals. Though because of Father Hei's inventive use of his
elementals, it's advised that opponents really know what they're
doing to avoid their attacks being turned back on them. But
water and ice also does extra damage, especially if one can use
it to short out Father Hei's ability to generate electricity.
- Since Father Hei is a holy vampire, he survives on animal
blood. And if an opponent is smart, they may be able to use
human blood to poison Father Hei, as human blood acts like a
toxin to Father Hei, something that even his immunity to poison
doesn't make him immune to. Unlike normal vampires who could
survive on animal or human blood, Father Hei can only survive on
animal blood. If an opponent can get human blood into Father
Hei's system, then they can essentially weaken him severly. This
means that people who use blood manipulation may be able to
manipulate their manipulated blood as one of Father Hei's
weaknesses if they know Father Hei can't survive on human blood.
- Another way to poison Father Hei is to use demonic blood, as
his body cannot process demonic blood since it's demonic in
nature and his body has no ability to process it. Because his
body converts almost any unholy powers over to holy powers,
demonic blood is useful to poison Father Hei since demonic blood
doesn't convert to holy power as easily as one might think,, as
demonic power is not easily converted to holy power (though one
would think the change from demonic to angelic would be easy),
and this allows demonic blood to cause extreme pain while it's
being processed by Father Hei's body, as Father Hei has to
reject it.
- When Father Hei uses his Susanoo, as one might expect, the
trick is just outlasting Father Hei, as if he uses it too long,
he will either have to shut the power off, or risk damaging his
own body severly. As stated, if used too long, he can be left
vulnerable as this power does damage that even his regeneration
has trouble fixing and the damage from this technique on his
body can take days to recover from. Opponents simply need to
avoid the Susanoo, though stronger opponents can break it open
and attack Hei through it if they hit the Susanoo with enough
force before Father Hei can generate the power to fix the
damage. Though the easiest way is still just waiting for Father
Hei to run himself out of power.
Personality: Father Hei often seems like a strict religious
extremist, but he is actually far more tolerant of other
religions than he lets on. Father Hei often seems cold to some,
but for the most part, he's always willing to help others and
protect people. Those that come to know him, know there's far
more to him than most would think, as Father Hei is a pretty
good natured person despite what people might think of him.
Father Hei has a lot of pride in his faith, and considers
himself a teacher when it comes to Christianity, though that is
partially because of the years he spent in the Church as head of
his world's Church and the head of an orphanage before he joined
the Order.
And as many know, Father Hei has his "personality quirk", in
which he often channels Alexander Anderson's personality, the
human who's blood was used to make the holy vampire formula
which purified him. Because of this strange side effect,
sometimes Father Hei ends up with a temporary personality quirk,
in which he becomes a true religious extremist, intolerant of
anything outside of what he believes, believing everyone else to
be heathens or believing in false gods. Father Hei usually goes
into this "mode" most often when he's angry, in a tough battle,
or just overall hating whoever he's with. However, as some who
know him will show, getting him out of this is actually easier
than one thinks, as all they have to do is shake him, or they
can do what some of his less tolerant friends do and slap him
upside the head.
In battle, Father Hei is extremely smart, and very strategic.
While he can brute force most opponents with his speed, he often
acts strategically, thinking about his attacks and how best to
execute them. Father Hei is an experienced supernatural hunter,
not only having been an expert in his world, but became an
expert in this world as well. Father Hei is very experienced,
and most don't really see all the battles and pain that led to
that point. However, Father Hei rarely lets people see that side
of him, and Father Hei, in fights, often shows his experience in
fighting his opponents. Not only does he have supernatural
hunting experience from his time as a holy vampire and being in
the church, but he also has all the time he spent as the "Black
Reaper" in his world, something most people forget about when
talking about Father Hei's past, since at this point most people
forget Father Hei was ever a real vampire and not a holy
vampire.
Bio: This version of Hei started out like many other universes
versions of Hei. Hei was the guardian of Hell's Gate for many
years, not really knowing anything else. After many years, and
friends and loved ones dying, Hei grew tired of his unholy
nature, and after the death of his best friend Drake at the
hands of a dragon hunter, finally gave up Hell's Gate. Hei went
on a quest to purify himself of his vampire nature, hoping to
find something that would change him or turn him into a human,
as he had grown tired of all the vampire hunters and other
hunters coming after him simply for being what he was. Of
course, most human cities and towns were not accepting of him,
as Hei traveled the world.
It was during his travels that eventually he was tracked down by
his sister, Kira Darkfire, after Nightbane and Kira had gotten
married. Nightbane offered Hei a chance to join them, and told
him about a project by the church which he repurposed from
killing vampires with holy purification, and instead turned it
into a purification formula for turning vampires and other
creatures into holy creatures, with Hei being the first
volunteer as a test subject. This formula used Alexander
Anderson's blood which had the power of Helena's Nail, and used
it as a catalyst for transforming a creature and created a
formula which Hei was finally able to turn himself into a holy
vampire. Though the side affect if him channeling Alexander
Anderson into his personality somewhat was a slightly unexpected
side effect, though Father Hei did gain the ability to purify
others with his holy flame spear technique, which other holy
vampires could be made.
It was at this point that his work as "Father Hei" truly began.
Once accepted by the Church, Father Hei quickly rose up the
ranks till he eventually became the head of the Iscariot
organization. During that time, he managed to develop his powers
as a holy vampire, developing powers that other holy vampires
and other holy creatures would gain when purified by him. During
his time training, he even teamed up with his universe's version
of the soul reaper, Kaname Tousen, who helped Father Hei develop
the holy arts he would eventually teach every holy user in the
Iscariot, as he developed these abilities so that any holy user
could learn them. During this time, Father Hei built up other
holy vampires, and eventually became the head of the Iscariot
Organization. Father Hei eventually gained the nickname "The
White Emissary of God" from his campaign to try and turn as many
creatures of the night into holy creatures as possible. Rather
than kill every supernatural he came across, Father Hei always
offered them the chance to change, and offered them purification
so they could join the church rather than fight against it.
Those that he saved during this praised him as a man of God, and
eventually started calling him a divine emissary or a prophet of
God sent to save the supernaturals from destruction.
However, things got difficult when people noticed how quickly
Nightbane and Kira were getting support, as the church started
gaining heavy influence and slowly taking over the world as more
countries joined them. This eventually led to Hellsing seeing
Nightbane and Kira's church as a threat, after England and the
US wanted to give the world the freedom to choose as they
mistakenly thought that Nightbane and Kira were manipulating
other world leaders to joining them. This led them to go to
Hellsing, which led to a large battle between Hellsing and the
Church, with the Iscariot being forced to wipe out Hellsing as
Hellsing and the Iscariot were not able to negotiate as England
and the US were not willing to back down. This led to Hellsing's
destruction, with only a few people surviving the ordeal. Among
them was Father Hei's first true apprentice, Lucius Tepes, who
was released from his seal by Father Hei.
After Father Hei released Lucius from his seal, Lucius realized
what had happened, and was understandable upset at the death of
Integra at first. However, after Father Hei managed to talk to
Lucius, Lucius realized that the Church had only acted against
Hellsing after Hellsing attacked them, starting the war that led
to their destruction. Since the Church had only defended itself,
Lucius started to think that his world's Integra Hellsing must
have been wrong, and started to believe Father Hei was a good
person who just tried to defend the church from the groups who
attacked. Eventually, Lucius agreed to join the Church and
become a holy vampire, and eventually became Father Hei's second
in command.
Eventually, the Church's influence gained the influence to where
they ended up ruling the world, finally uniting all races. Of
course, most people were scared at first, as they believed that
Nightbane and Kira's rule was fulfilling the prophecy of the
False Prophet and the Anti-Christ, to which they started to see
Nightbane, Kira and Father Hei as an unholy trinity that was
trying to doom all Christian worshippers. However, this didn't
stop most of the government's support of the Church. Father Hei
continued his work for many years, taking on evil supernaturals
and religious extremists as Nightbane and Kira ruled the world,
with the Iscariot eventually becoming the police force of the
world, growing till they had reached a global level.
Eventually, the Order showed up in their world, to which Kindron
Blackfire was surprised at how Nightbane and Kira had gotten the
whole world to join them without having to fight aside from some
fights against those like Hellsing and other religious extremist
groups. And another surprise to Kindron Blackfire was how easily
Nightbane, Kira and Father Hei joined them, knowing they stood
no chance against the Wraith. In exchange for their world being
ruled by the Order, Nightbane's group made a deal with the
Order's leaders, Kindron and Nightbane Blackfire (Mostly Kindron
Blackfire), and told them they'd ally with the Order, as long as
the Wraith and the Dark were not allowed to feed on their
universe's people, and they kept the freedom to rule their world
under the Order's flag.
This led to Kindron Blackfire ordering a battle to test the
three, in which Kindron Blackfire said if they did well enough
against him and Nightbane Blackfire, that he'd let them continue
ruling their world. However, a third surprise for Kindron
Blackfire was in store, as Nightbane, Kira and Father Hei nearly
beat Kindron and Nightbane Blackfire in their fight. Kindron and
Nightbane only managed to win by a slim margin, with Nightbane's
group being evenly matched with Kindron and Nightbane Blackfire.
Though 3 vs 2, Kindron Blackfire commended Nightbane's group,
and honored his deal, saying that as long as they didn't betray
him, they would leave their world alone and let Nightbane
continue ruling as he wanted, keeping the Wraith and Dark from
his world.
This led to Nightbane's group having to travel the multi-verse,
helping Kindron Blackfire's Order take over other worlds. This
led to not only to the group getting stronger, but Father Hei
managed to train with the Interdimensional Sabbat's Qrow
Darkfire and Hei Darkfire, who trained with Father Hei when they
were bored in between invasions. Though they didn't reveal some
more advanced techniques, Father Hei did learn a lot of
elemental techniques from the Sabbat, and continued working with
the Order. Since Nightbane's group had no problem sacrificing
other universe's inhabitants for keeping those under their
command safe, Nightbane's group seemed a good fit for the Order,
even though Kindron Blackfire knew that Nightbane's goal was
kill him and take over the Order, then create a new Order of the
Dragon that would turn it into a missionary group to the
multiverse, as Kindron Blackfire knew Nightbane wanted to make
the Order has an interdimensional expansion of his church.
However, things didn't go well when they tried to work with
Drakath and his wolf wraiths, as they had the chance to destroy
the Blackfires, using a rare opportunity of a time manipulator
who was messing with Kindron Blackfire's ability to see the
future. However, because Drakath was unwilling to sacrifice
innocent people, Drakath and Constantin disabled the bomb
Nightbane had planted, to which Kindron Blackfire found out
about Nightbane's attempt to kill him. Though Kindron Blackfire
applauded Nightbane to coming closer than anyone, Kindron
Blackfire still gave the word to the Wraith in secret to destroy
Nightbane's world, as Kindron Blackfire saw their betrayal as
breaking their deal. Though for a long time, Nightbane's group
didn't hear anything about their world being destroyed, only
finding out about it when Lucius came to this world with the
remaining Iscariot.
During other invasions, Nightbane and Father Hei were forced to
change their approach to taking on the Order, instead secretly
gathering resistance groups and other allies in the Order that
they could turn on Kindron Blackfire when the time was right. It
was during invasions like this where Father Hei met Felicia,
turning her into a holy vampire and having her travel with them.
Father Hei and Nightbane also helped other groups, such as the
Crow Mercenaries, and helping the Universal Defenders figure out
that the Order was not the Wraith of their universe when their
universe was being attacked. Over time, Father Hei and Nightbane
tried to form as many resistance groups as they could so that
when Nightbane's plan came to fruition, they could take on the
Order in a universe that had strong resistance and turn every
resistance group on the Order at the same time, and hopefully
destroy the Order.
When the Order came to this world, Father Hei became the
communication between Nightbane and Kira and the Hellsing
organization, having to defy and "betray" the Order of the
Dragon so that Nightbane and Kira could continue working with
Kindron Blackfire but still communicate with Hellsing, though at
this point Kindron Blackfire knew that Nightbane was working
against him. Father Hei took his resistance and joined this
world's Iscariot after Father Hei left the Order, with Father
Hei originally taking ownership of the Iscariot during Alexander
Anderson's absence, but when Alexander Anderson returned, Father
Hei gave him back the leadership position of the Organization,
only really acting as a secondary leader when Anderson wasn't
around. Now he continues to train with the Iscariot, and trains
as many as he can as he started a movement to try and purify the
supernaturals of this world similar what he did in his world,
hoping to save as many as he could.
