Tsukio: Just basic stuff. Nothing too detailed since Goten tends
to not talk much about others personal lives.
Doctor: So you're the famous Dr. Xeno? Well, if you're as smart
as they say, then you should be able to figure out a better
solution than I did. Anyway... I'm Dr. Lynn Summers. I treat
illnesses of supernatural natures... Or try to, at least.She
takes a breath, trying to figure out where to start. The best I
could figure, Goten's illness is actually his body trying to
suppress his massive flow of chakra. I haven't figured out what
causes it, but his low amount of chakra isn't because his body
is weak, but because his body naturally suppresses what he
possesses. As you probably know, the body suppresses itself as a
means to protect itself from damaging itself when it pushes
itself, and this applies to chakra as well. I suspect because
his chakra is potent enough that it is actually poisoning his
body when it eventually forces itself out. If the body can
suppress the chakra, then the chakra doesn't poison him. His
chakra isn't actually that potent compared to some other chakra
users, but it is stronger than normal and some unknown factor is
damaging his body when his chakra is released as it eventually
forces it's way out despite the body's attempts to suppress it.
Goten's silver chakra is a different story though, it comes from
a different place than his normal chakra, so it seems to be able
to bypass this aspect, and Goten can harness it in place of the
chakra he can't use, which is good because it seems to have the
properties of all chakra types, and seems to be more powerful
than normal chakra. I suspect it's because Goten's body adapted
and tapped into something else to make up for the power it
couldn't use. But as for his normal chakra, I was able to treat
it with a special medicine I developed specifically for Goten's
condition that helps his body suppress his chakra to a level
that keeps his chakra from poisoning him. However, as he pushes
himself, his body will continue to release more chakra, and soon
the chakra won't be able to be contained if the body is forced
to release more chakra. I don't know why his body reacts to
chakra the way that it does... I suspect it could be a sort of
genetic defect in his chakra, or he could possess some sort of
power that his body is trying to keep suppressed. I had hoped
that as he got older, he'd grow into his more potent chakra, but
his chakra is getting more potent as he gets older. I cannot
permanently fix the problem, but I theorize that if his body
could safely release the more potent chakra without poisoning
his body, he could essentially get rid of the problem, but that
would require rewriting his genetic code. But you'd need someone
with a genetic code from his family, and you'd probably need to
make sure that the genetic code rewrite would allow Goten's body
to handle the more potent chakra.

Itachi: I understand. Well, my clones are doing the searching
for me. It's a bit sooner than I wanted to come back here but I
guess I can hang around for a while. So, tell me about yourself.
As Dr. Summers explain Goten's condition, Amy grabs her work
smart tablet and start writing notes on it by using the tablet's
pen as she listens. She wrote the important stuff down along
with minor details that might help. When Dr. Summers mentioned
the genetic code, Amy stops writing and think about for a
moment, though a small frown formed on her face.
Amy: Does it have to be someone precisely from Goten's blood
family or can it be from another Uchiha? There is an Uchiha at
our base, hopefully he's still around if we can use his genetic
code to help Goten.

Tsukio: Well, Goten is my friend and a fellow ninja, and he and
I met in the bounty hunter business. I met his friend Zack Fair,
and the three of us have been traveling together since. Not many
people know about neko ninjas, but our kind rely on a different
kind of ninjitsu which we draw on from the elemental power of
our spirit combined with our animal spirits. Of course, among
our kind, most of our animal spirits are things like cats,
tigers, lions, that sort of thing. We also have a unique power
to absorb our elements and learn new elementals, similar to how
dragons can. My elemental animal spirit is the firecat.
Doctor: Well... I suppose as long as it's a somewhat close
genetic match, and the person doesn't have any trouble with
concentrated chakra, a normal Uchiha should be okay. She says in
thought. It's difficult for me to say, because I'm not as
experienced with changing genetics as you are. I never could
figure out that plasmite stuff your initial work was based on,
so I suspect your judgement on that would be worth more than
mine. But I'd say as long as the Uchiha you have in mind doesn't
have too much negative power. I know the Uchihas draw power from
hatred and anger, and Goten's power comes from a different
place. You might cause conflicts if that power overpowers
Goten's silver chakra if the power is too based in dark or evil
power, and I'd worry Goten might not be able to handle that. But
theoretically, a normal Uchiha's blood, even if it's not from
his direct family, could work. The question would be if you
could prevent Goten's body from poisoning its own chakra, which
I haven't yet figured out how to counter.

Itachi: That is interesting. Wish I found my sorcerer friend
before that incident happened. I think you boys would like him.
Amy: I understand. thinks about it for a minute Although I
cannot take the full credit of the plasmites, I can say that the
Uchiha I have in mind shouldn't be too much of a problem. He
doesn't have enough to lethally hinder Goten's silver chakra,
even with the Cursed of Hatred ability every Uchiha inherits...
but I can make sure that it wouldn't be an issue with the right
code.

Tsukio: If you're looking for tracking him down, I can help.
There's nothing that escapes me. My specialty is tracking people
down, thanks to my nekojin senses and my ninja training. Though
I admit I am a bit embarrassed that the other Uchiha guy found
you before I did... Kinda insulting to my skill that he beat me
to you.
Doctor: I believe that if you just apply the changes to how his
body handles chakra and add a regenerative element to keep his
body from taking damage from his chakra, it is possible you can
do so without changing his Sharingan or his silver chakra at
all. By doing that, you should be able to avoid having to mess
with his silver chakra or the changes to his Sharingan because
of it. You'd only have to change part of his genetic code, not
all of it. But again, you know more about it than me. She says
the last part with a shrug. I can send you the data on his
medicine just in case and the data on what I found about his
sickness. I usually keep his complete file at easy access since
he's one of my main patients.

found. He says confidently.
The doctor hits a few buttons on her computer, and the data
appears on Amy's system. Doctor: I'm trusting you to handle
things from here. I've done all I can do, but it seems you have
the ability to succeed where I failed. So I'm trusting you on
this one. Whether it's intentional or not, I'm glad Goten
finally took my advice to find a smarter doctor to try different
options.

Tsukio: I've dealt with plenty of those. Everyone always thinks
their targets unfind-able until I track them down.
Doctor: Please do let me know if you need anything. If you need
me to come in and help out with anything, I can certainly come
help. I've been treating Goten for so long that he's sort of
become like family to me.
