(RP for Integra as Itachi)
A few weeks ago.
"No matter what happens, you must commit to yourself and your
goals. If your goal is power, then commit to becoming stronger.
If it's knowledge, then commit to that desire to learn. It's
said to grant the desires of the people who go there, good or
evil. This test is not one you can pass easily, and some have
gone mad from this test, which is why it's not used by Shaolin
anymore. Do not take it lightly, but know that the temple also
has a weird way of aligning fates, which is why the temple got
its name. And also know that your fate may not always be
something you're going to like."
Those were Cheng-Long's words to Goten when Goten had asked him
for a way to push his power further. Though Goten had made some
progress, he was trying to find new ways to break his limits as
a warrior, and trying to reach into his power to unlock the
secrets to his silver chakra. So far, it hadn't really done
much, other than help him refine it a little. Though Goten could
only think about one thing, which was breaking the curse of
hatred on his clan.
A month ago, Goten and Zack had fought the assassin Hit, and
nearly died during the fight protecting a politician who Hit was
paid to kill. Though Goten and Zack were tough, they were beaten
by Hit in a poewrful battle of martial arts skill. After Goten
had figured out Hit's time abilities, Goten evened the odds
using his Sharingan, and caused Hit to have to try for the first
time in his life. As Hit began improving his time skip, he
defeated Goten, but out of respect for Goten and Zack as martial
artists and warriors, he chose not to kill them since they were
not his targets. However, Goten and Zack ultimated failed in
their mission to protect the politican, who was killed in a
single blow after Goten and Zack were defeated.
Goten had been training with the Shaolin at the temple in his
spare time when not on bounties or trying to track down Itachi
ever since, hoping to find a way to beat Hit if they ever met
again, which he had a feeling they would. Unlike what many would
expect from an assassin, Hit was a lot more honorable than
normal assassins, as he always took every target head-on, and
his fight against Zack and Goten was no different. Luckily,
Goten and Zack recovered quickly, and the two have been training
since, even more motivated to becoming stronger so they can do
their jobs more efficiently and protect the people they needed
to protect.
However, thanks to Cheng-Long's training, Goten was now ready to
try and face a new challenge. Today, Goten was traveling the
ruins of a forgotten temple known as "The Temple of Fate" which
was a legendary temple that was known to help people in finding
purpose and revealing their fate.
After hearing about V and Vin's trip to the future and the
terrible things he had been tricked into doing in another
timeline, Goten was determined not to let himself be tricked,
and decided that there was a lot he would have to do before even
attempting to try and take on Madara and Aizen. Goten had gone
to the temple for his training, hoping that this temple would do
what Cheng-Long had promised him.
However, the path had been harder than Goten wanted to admit.
After Goten entered, he had been hit with visions of the future
that V and Vin had warned him about, seeing the destruction of
the town he had caused in the future timeline. Goten had some
charms with him, given to him by Vin to dispel the genjutsu of
Madara, and the illusionary power of Aizen, so Goten knew that
his visions were not something that was caused by Madara or
Aizen. Goten had pushed through the visions, but had almost
broken down during one of the visions, of seeing the final
person of the massacre incinerated.
Being determined to see things through, he continued into the
temple until he started hearing voices of other Uchihas,
including the original Itachi, Sasuke, and even Kiria (a less
known dead Uchiha family member that the clone Hikari Uchiha was
based on).
Itachi: How will you break a curse that is in our nature?
Sasuke: Hatred is the only way you'll gain the power you seek.
Kiria: Or you could try the blood of your enemies... It worked
for me.
Goten winced, hearing their voices in his head, continously
having to ignore them. As Itachi spoke more about reality being
limited by perception, Sasuke tried to goad Goten into the power
of hatred, and Kiria tried to tempt Goten with the power of
darkness.
As Goten got into the temple's core, he found a large open room,
which seemed to strangely sit in a large open area. However,
Goten realized he wasn't the only one here, as a new face stood
before him. Almost on instinct, Goten activated his silver
Sharingan, while the other person activated their own Sharingan,
which was red like normal. The man was older than Goten, and
seemed to be an adult, but Goten felt something evil in this
man.
Goten: Who are you? Why do you have our eyes? He says, realizing
that this man was probably another test.
Man: I am Kazuma Uchiha. Who are you, runt? He says, referencing
Goten's short stature.
Goten: Goten Uchiha... I've never heard that name before. He
stops as he has a thought that seems to anger him to his core.
Are you another clone? Because I swear to freakin' god, I'm
gonna kick some cloning scientists' asses if you are. He says
bitterly to Kazuma, while staying on guard and trying to clear
his mind, which was difficult with everything that he'd seen and
heard while moving through the temple still fresh in his mind.
Kazuma: Goten? He says, his stance wavering for a moment. You're
alive in this universe?
Goten: "This" universe? Which one are you from?
Kazuma: One where my little brother was murdered for simply
being a member of the Uchiha Clan... Killed by a village that
sentenced innocent children to death even when we had nothing to
do with the plot to overthrow the Uchiha, all so that fool
Danzo, could steal all our eyes. I serve Lord Anubis in his
goals to rule this world. He said this temple would show me my
fate and help me push through my limits. He says, anger
radiating from his body as his chakra started to shine a crimson
red. Strangely, the chakra seemed far more potent than Goten's,
with Kazuma's chakra being an entirely different chakra that
seemed to be completely powered by his own hatred.
For a moment, Goten was afraid after hearing that Kazuma's goal
was the same as his (to break his limits), but then calmed his
mind as he radiated his silver chakra, containing it in his
body. After some advice from Mezcas, the Namekian deity within
Snayle, Goten had been trying to contain his silver chakra
similar to how god ki is used, which Mezcas indicated might help
him contain the power of his silver chakra and only use it when
needed, which had helped his fighting style a little so it
didn't put as much strain on his body.
Goten: What is your purpose here?
Kazuma: Killing every ninja who had a hand in that plot and
erasing any traces of my clan to start again. This time we will
become the most feared clan in the world and become the base of
a new ninja clan that will surpass all others! Then I will have
a ninja clan who hunt down and kill all of Lord Anubis's
enemies! He says with a laugh.
Goten just sighs. Goten: Darn. I was hoping your goal and mine
were similar enough we could work together. But you seem to have
no interest in peace or doing good in the world. He looks to
him. Your Uchiha Clan will be ruled by hatred if you create them
as you are now. And that's not something you should be proud of.
That curse will destroy our family again if you don't conquer it
first
Kazuma: That's where you're wrong. He says, glaring at Goten
with his Sharingan. That curse must become our power. It gives
us our power, and we must make it our strength, not our
weakness!
Goten stares down Kazuma with his own Sharingan. Goten: No.
Hatred is only going to destroy us again. Fear is not the way to
do it! We can overcome it!
Kazuma: Hard to believe my own little brother can't see the
potential I do... Why is this version of you so weak? He says
angrily.
Goten sighs a bit, before calming his mind again. Goten: I do
see the potential of hatred... Sure, it's strong, like really
strong... But I also see it's weaknesses. It's like a disease
that spreads through killing others. It's just an endless cycle
of violence that goes nowhere. Call me naive or cliche, I don't
care... But I will continue defending innocent people. My Uchiha
Clan will be strong. Not because we use hatred, but because we
gain even stronger power by overcoming it. I will build an
Uchiha clan that will bring out the good in this world. A legacy
that will give people hope.
Kazuma scoffs as he listens to Goten. Kazuma: You're not an
Uchiha. You're just a child who doesn't understand how the world
works.
Goten: I know exactly how the world works. But you're right
about one thing... Without the Uchiha, I'm not an Uchiha
anymore. No... I'm Oniwaban. He says confidently, referencing
his mentor's Oniwaban group, which was like family to him.
The two dash toward each other, both drawing their weapons and
clashing a blast of silver and crimson chakras as the two
battle. The two, equally determined to break their own limits
and become the force they needed to build a new Uchiha Clan.
However, both knew that in order to make their Uchiha Clan a
reality, they both knew that their fates were intertwined now,
and the temple had connected their fates to give both fighters a
way to improve their skills, even though neither of them wanted
to fight the other. Only one of them would succeed in their
goal, and they'd have to fight to the very end to figure out
which of them would build their clan.
Current Day
"Come on Tsukio... Haven't you found them yet?" Goten says,
somewhat anxious.
Goten had been training ever since his trip to the temple, even
more determined to get stronger after almost being killed by
Kazuma Uchiha during their fight. Alone, he was no match due to
his illness, which made it hard for him to fight for long
periods of time, a weakness that Kazuma did not share. While
their powers were mostly equal and able to counter each other,
Goten's only real flaw was the major fact he couldn't fight for
too long, a problem he was trying to correct.
Goten had run into Kazuma a few times since the temple, and had
enlisted some help against him as Zack and their friend Tsukio
Nekomira, who was a neko ninja and friend to Zack and Goten for
a long time as a fellow bounty hunter. The time had come to
track down Itachi, after Kazuma had found out about the clone of
Itachi, and decided to track him down to steal his eyes for
himself, something that was a forbidden Uchiha art for gaining
the Eternal Mangekyo.
Tsukio: I'm a neko ninja, not a freakin' magician... He says
bitterly as he sniffs the ground, using his nekojin senses and
ninja training to track Itachi (the clone version). Tsukio
wasn't any older than Goten, also being fairly young compared to
most bounty hunters they knew.
Goten: I'm sorry... It's just that I fear for his safety. I
should have called you sooner to track down this clone guy. I
didn't think Kazuma would be interested in him since he's not a
born Uchiha.
Tsukio: The guy tried to steal your life energy! How did you
think he wouldn't go after another Uchiha?! He says to Goten, as
he tracks Itachi.
The two stop as they feel something that made their hearts sink.
Tsukio: That's... not who I think it is... Is it?
Almost on cue, Goten's owl friend, Waishu flies down in a panic.
Waishu: Goten! I found him! That other Uchiha found him first!
He says to Goten.
Goten: Then it's time to go! He says as he runs, letting Waishu
guide him as he gets ready for a fight with Kazuma. Hopefully
this time, with Tsukio and Itachi on his side, he might get a
win against Kazuma.
Tsukio: I thought you said this Itachi guy was a lot stronger
than you. He says as they start jumping from tree to tree to try
and get to Itachi faster.
Goten: From what I hear, I don't think he'd normally need my
help against this guy, but Kazuma had abilities that are
different and a lot more dangeorus than mine. His left eye can
drain energy of those he locks eyes with. And his right eye can
absorb energy and empower himself with it. Most of what he tries
will only make Kazuma stronger. We have to get there before
Kazuma catches him off guard. All it will take is one wrong move
and Kazuma might gain an edge on him. And that's not to mention
the blade he got recently he got an idea for based on my own
Susanoo blade where he ripped out his Susanno power and put it
into a sword that is one dangerous power, and his evil monkey
sage energy that's more powerful than mine... I still haven't
even mastered that new silver sage mode Vin tried to teach me
that they learned from my future self.
Tsukio: You mean that one that uses your silver chakra and fuses
you to spirits?
Goten: Yeah... That one. Kazuma mastered something like it with
his crimson chakra, but it's not as advanced apparently since it
doesn't use chakra spirits like V's new sage mode is supposed
to.
Tsukio: Maybe I'll get to show off my firecat spirit after all.
He says with a smile.
Meanwhile:
On an island outside of the Japanese islands that was outside
the Japanese Pantheon, Kazuma walks up to Itachi, his Mangekyo
Sharingan activated.
Kazuma: So... You must be the clone. I'm gonna be needing your
eyes, and your energy. Your compliance isn't required. The
longer the resistance, the slower the kill. He says with a
smile. He takes out his sword, which starts to form a partial
Susanoo around him, increasing his defense immensely without
requiring to use his eyes directly.

Itachi had his back turn when Kazuma confronted him. Not many
people know this but Itachi had his illusions spread around the
globe to look for his comrade and friend, Benjamin Richards, who
had disappeared ever since the incident in Olympus involving
Underworld Kindron's death. It's unknown which one is which
unless someone is a master of illusions, immune to it or has the
Mangekyo. In this case, Kazuma is facing the real Itachi who
came here after speaking to a Shinto dragon deity who helped him
find the truth of not only his family history but also of Ben's
whereabouts.
Itachi: sigh sharply in annoyance In the words of my comrades, I
will only be saying this once: Beat it. I have not the time or
patience for insufferable punks like you.
The tone Itachi was speaking was harsher and deeper than
expected. His eyes are normal for now but he readies his own
dragon slayer blade for now.

Kazuma: Well... You'll have plenty of time when you're dead. He
says as he goes to attack Itachi, hoping to catch him off guard
when Itachi turned around if he were to make eye contact as he
gets ready to activate his left eye that drains life energy if
Itachi meets his gaze.

Itachi simply morph into a flock of crows as he felt the blade
come down on him. The crows surround the area before forming
into one. As he fully face Kazuma from behind, he form at least
three illusion clones with him. Itachi's eyes turn from normal
to same kind of eyes as Kazuma. He simply takes out his own
sword and point it at his opponent.
Itachi: I did warn you.

He turns and tries to face Itachi as he reforms behind him.
Kazuma: You really have no idea who you're dealing with, do you?
He says as he shines with crimson chakra, which radiated pure
hatred as he gets ready to attack again, using his sword to try
and attack Itachi. He went after the one he thought was real,
since he could see through illusions.

Itachi says nothing as his clones advance on him, trying to at
least slow him down and see what the enemy is capable of.

Kazuma uses his sword, trying to avoid the illusion clones and
attack Itachi directly, his sword generating crimson chakra that
was giving off flames as he tries to release a slashing fire
wave at Itachi using a chakra sword blade technique to create a
slashing wave.

The clones that tried to intervened got caught into the slashed
attack and disperse but unlike normal clones such as shadow
clones, the clones that were hit explodes, making Itachi move
back an inch and infuse his sword with draconic flames, hoping
that it will be enough to handle the crimson chakra.

Kazuma tries to use his Sharingan to meet Itachi's gaze as he
attacks, trying to use his left eye's power to drain some of his
energy while he was attacking.

After the explosive smoke and dust disperse, Itachi burst
through the smoke and try to clash his weapon against Kazuma.
Unfortunately, Itachi met Kazuma's gaze when he was trying to
figure out his sharigan abilities.
