       Part 1: A Father's Love
       Spirit Theme: No Return (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZVxmMCUwLc
       )
       Two weeks ago.
Kindron had been thinking about the past a lot as of late, ever
since he ran into the bounty hunter/former supernatural hunter
Nathan Haris-Walker. And whenever the past came up, there was
one part of the past that Kindron rarely ever talked about.
Talking about the time Kindron spent in a church when he was a
boy was something he didn't really talk about, and even among
his closest friends, it was something he almost never mentioned.
Kindron had gone to a celtic gravesight in the country of Wales,
one that he knew too well. There was only one grave there that
he was concerned with, and had been paying to replace the
headstone from time to time using money he had gotten from
supernatural hunting. As one might expect, the grave belonged to
someone close to Kindron, and had become a place that Kindron
       visited every now and then.
The grave read: Duncan Kreil. A father never forgotten. The
grave had no years on it, due to the suspicion it often raised
among the groundskeepers that someone was keeping up a grave
that was so old, and Kindron didn't want the grave removed from
the cemetary as some had threatened to do so thinking it was a
grave for a supernatural creature (The owners were human who
didn't like giving graves to supernatural creatures).
Kindron: I wish you were here... He says, looking at the grave.
More than ever, I wish you could be here to help guide me. Few
ever helped me find the right path like you did. Uncle Sirion
and my dad seem pretty good, but they have their own darkness
and they can't help me fight mine. They are blinded by their own
pride at times and I just need someone who isn't prideful to
help me. You were the only one that ever pulled me out of the
       dark completely.
As though from nowhere, a spirit appeared, which surprised
Kindron. Kindron couldn't believe that it was Duncan himself,
and Kindron takes off his glasses and wipes his eyes to make
       sure he wasn't hallucinating.
Duncan: You don't need my guidance anymore... I guided you so
that one day you could do the guiding. He says as he appeared.
Kindron: Duncan... I don't understand. Why... Why are you here?
Duncan: Temporary leave. Your friend Clair made a deal. She
thought you might need a little extra help. She asked me to
teach you some more supernatural hunter magic. But first, I
thought we could catch up. Been a while after all. Last time we
spoke was when you died and came to Heaven... Before your friend
       took you to train you.
Kindron: So much has happened over the last few years... I don't
even know where to begin. He says, trying to figure out where to
start. However, he goes and hugs Duncan. I guess I do know where
to start... I missed you. So much.
Duncan smiles and hugs him back. Duncan: I missed you too, my
boy. Part of me wanted you to be able to come back to heaven so
we could hang out, but I'm just glad you haven't died and are
still making me as proud of you as I can be.
After a little bit, Kindron and Duncan let go of each other and
Kindron looks him over, tears in his eyes. Kindron: Everything's
a jumbled mess... The dark spirits are invading, and we had to
learn how to fight them which hasn't gone well since only a few
of us know how to even hurt them. It's getting to a point that
iron is not helping us because of the fallen angel who keeps
enhancing them. He says the last part with a sigh. We have an
interdimensional Order led by an evil me that is gonna try and
kill us all at some point. I know he has my history up to the
point when Nightbane turned on me, but I've been racking my
brain trying to figure out how to reach him because I know your
words still live in him... And I still have like 10 people who
specifically want revenge or want my head for something or
       another.
Duncan: You know how many enemies I made as a supernatural
hunter? If we don't make enemies, we're not doing our job right
as hunters. He says jokingly. But you've made it far. I know a
little about what you've been up to. As Wolf Mask, you helped a
lot of people... He then looks to Shinso, who was by Kindron's
side, which seems to pulse at seeing Duncan as it was happy to
see it's old master. And you... Nice to see you again, old
friend. It seems you've taken care of Kindron in my absence. I'm
glad you're still by his side. He says as he pats Shinso's hilt.
Kindron: Shinso's helped me out a lot. Though I wish you could
take him... I feel he'd be happier by your side than mine
Duncan chuckles. Duncan: No... You've grown into a fine
swordsman. I think some of the fights you've had are far more
dangerous than anything I'd fought. I doubt I could keep up with
       how strong you've gotten.
Kindron looks down. Kindron: I'm not strong. I've been powerless
during this whole dark spirit thing. Even after gaining the
knowledge I need to fight the dark spirits, I still can't beat
them on my own. I'm good at hunting vampires and werewolves, but
I was never prepared to fight some of the threats I've faced as
of late... And then there's those like the alternate me that
have made me face my past. Even friends have turned on me. Every
time I try to do the right thing, it goes all wrong.
Duncan: Anyone is going to have to deal with not being prepared,
and people betraying them, son... That's how life is. He pats
Kindron's head softly. But you keep fighting. You forgive and
try to show them the right path. And that's what being a
follower of God is about. You keep protecting them and you'll
find a way. The real trick is to never give up on people.
Kindron: I've been trying... But I wish you were around. You
were more suited to lead people than me... Every time I've tried
to lead, it's been a disaster. I've lost two organizations I
built, and now I feel like I'm becoming dead weight to everyone
around me among my friends. There are so many problems that I
feel like I can't solve any of them. I almost got my friends
killed on a few occassions because I couldn't fight some of the
       enemies we've faced.
Duncan: Sometimes you just need to step back and rethink things.
He looks to Kindron and uses some magic on him, which shows
Kindron's holy aura. Just because you don't think you have the
power doesn't mean it's not there... You have the power to do so
much more, and that's why I'm here. I'm the first of two spirits
that Clair called to help train you for what's to come. Not just
the dark spirits, but other threats too.
       Kindron: Train me? In what?
Duncan: Well, the first is magic. I never got to teach you the
true power of my own magics. You never saw it before I died.
Plus, I have a little knowledge that will help you out a lot.
Kindron, remembering what happened when Duncan died, looks away
in shame. Kindron: I still have trouble living with what
happened back then... You died because of me. And then I...
killed them. I killed them all... He says, remembering the
incident. He starts recounting the incident, explaining what had
       happened.
       Begin Flashback:
When Kindron was young, his families tried to destroy each
other. It isn't too well known how Kindron survived, only that
he was found by Duncan at a young age, and raised as a child by
Duncan, who treated him like a son. In many ways, Kindron even
thought of Duncan as his father. Though Kindron had to hide from
everyone else due to being a werepyre, Duncan was the first and
only one to see him as family, and raise him among both
supernaturals and humans. Whenever Kindron was around others, he
had to hide his werepyre form, which was his normal form, and
used a cloak and mask to hide his identity. Because of it, it
got him picked on a lot, because he could never show his face
due to him knowing they wouldn't accept the fact he was a
werepyre. While it didn't bother Kindron much due to the kids
not being able to really hurt him, it was still annoying to not
have anyone he could call a friend and everyone be against him.
However, one day, Kindron's mask was knocked off by a kid trying
to bully him, and when the kids saw his face, they ran away
screaming, figuring out that Kindron was a werecreature. Kindron
didn't go back till later that night as he ran out into the
woods after the kids found out what he was in a panic, as he
didn't want them to follow him back to the church in case they
found out Duncan was sheltering a supernatural creature.
However, when he got back to the church where he lived with
Duncan, he was surprised to find that it had been set on fire,
and when he went inside, he found Duncan dead on the ground,
having been killed by the village people.
However, it was in his anger, that Kindron, stricken with grief,
took up a sword and went after the town's people when they came
after him as he stepped out of the fire once the fire had turned
black from Kindron's Darkfire power awakening. During the
incident, the village attacked Kindron, trying to kill him, and
left Kindron having to killing the entire town when they came
after him as all of the adults and even the kids and teenagers
had gotten weapons to try and kill them. Since it was a small
village, most people there knew each other, and Kindron knew
from the scents that most of the village had been involved in
the incident. It was during this incident that Kindron got his
first taste of battle, in which he killed almost everyone in the
village in his anger. Despite how young he was, Kindron's black
flames, combined with his regeneration, overwhelmed the humans
pretty easily. However, the children that were too young to
survive on their own were a different matter, as Kindron killed
them not because they tried to kill him, but because he knew
that the small children couldn't survive without someone, and
they would never accept him. The only option Kindron saw at the
time was to kill them so their souls would go to heaven to be
reunited with their family rather than watching them starve to
death because they couldn't survive without an adult in the
       village.
After the town had been killed, Kindron had gone back to the
church, sitting in what was left of it after the church had been
mostly burned down. He buried Duncan, and stayed in the village,
despite no one being there. Kindron wandered around the town for
weeks, unable to escape his depression and despair, as he
considered what to do. However, as though guided by something,
Kindron found his way back to the church, and heard the call of
something in the remains of the church. When Kindron found out
what it was, he realized that Shinso had been calling out to him
even though Kindron couldn't hear it, and realized that
something wanted him to see the sword, which Kindron could sense
it grieving not just the loss of Duncan, but what Kindron was
going through. Kindron picked up the sword, sensing Shinso's
grief and took Shinso. After Shinso managed to convince Kindron
to leave the village and search out a new home, Kindron decided
it was time to leave and left. Making sure to grab his cloak and
mask, he took Shinso and put Shinso on his side.
       End Flashback.
Kindron: If it weren't for Shinso... I don't think I'd have ever
left. There wasn't anything to live for anymore. He says with a
sigh. The blood from those people... I can still smell it
sometimes. I hear those children crying sometimes... It's the
biggest regret I'll ever have, and not even Acillia and Integra
know about it. Those people... I didn't have to kill them. I
could have ran and left the village, but I chose to stay and
       fight.
Duncan: Yes... I'm sorry things turned out the way they did. If
I hadn't been so careless, maybe I could have gotten away, but I
was ready to face them for a long time. I knew the day would
come when they would find out about you and come after me, but I
was just glad they didn't kill you too. He looks to Kindron. Do
you remember what happened next after you left with Shinso?
Kindron: Yeah... I found another village.
Duncan: That's right. You found it in the dead of night. It was
the first time you used Shinso right?
Kindron: Yeah. He looks at Duncan. How do you know about that?
Weren't you in the afterlife at that point?
Duncan: That guiding hand... The one that got you to Shinso.
That was my will that got you there. I was nothing but a ghost,
but I resisted going to the afterlife for a while until I was
sure you'd be okay. After you took Shinso, I knew the two of you
would manage without me. That's when I left with the reaper.
Kindron: That was you? He stops and remembers back. Somehow...
       I always knew it.
Duncan: Yes. And you started helping people. The village you
found in the dead of night. It was under attack.
He sighs. Well... Most of the village was dead in the village I
got to. The werewolves had pretty much killed everyone. I was
only able to save a few, and I couldn't save that many.
Duncan: But you saved those who remained... That was the day you
became Wolf Mask and started using your gifts to help others.
You killed an entire tribe of werewolves, and that's something
even I couldn't do. That's why some started calling you the Wolf
Hunter. I know you regret what happened, and you regret killing
the people of our village... But your redemption won't come from
       the dead.
Kindron turns away. Kindron: No... There is no redemption.
That's the one part of my past that I should never be forgiven
for... Yes, they killed you, but I should never have resorted to
killing them as my first response. And then the children... I
didn't know what to do and took the easy way out.
Duncan: You don't think you deserve it, but you need to forgive
yourself, son. The good you have done since then... Well, you
can't erase bad decisions, but you've turned from those sins and
have done good. That's as good as anyone can ask for because we
all have sinned somehow or in some way. If everyone was
condemned for every sin, we'd all be damned. He says, hugging
Kindron again, which surprises Kindron. Don't worry, son...
You're going to find that Heaven has long forgiven that... It's
time you did too. Let the past go and drop the weight it's put
on you. I don't think there's many people who would judge you
for defending your own life. And while the children being killed
was unfortunate, it was a better fate than letting them starve
to death or be killed by animals in the forests. They would have
killed you if you hadn't fought back, and then where would all
the people you've saved since then be?
       Kindron hugs him back.
Duncan: No good thing comes easy, son. You know that. And now,
you've become a fine young man. He says as he lets Kindron go.
Kindron smiles as he leans on a grave. Kindron: I wish I'd
brought Acillia and Zack today. I would have loved to introduce
you to them. Heck... There's a lot of people I wish I could
introduce you to... So many friends I'm sure would love to meet
       you.
Duncan: Perhaps someday. Don't worry though. I'm sure you'll get
that chance eventually. But for now... I'm afraid we've got a
lot of work to do. He says as he looks to Kindron. You know most
of what's coming... And you're going to need to be ready. So
       let's get your training underway.
Kindron smiles as he gets ready. For the first time in a long
time, the heavy weight of the past felt like it had loosened,
and he felt more free than he had in a long time. Being able to
be forgiven for the darkest moment in his life had helped him
more than anyone could ever realize, and gave Kindron new
       motivation.
       End of Part 1.
       Part 2: An Alchemist's Power
       Kina Darkwolf Theme: Waltz (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5gIjEHbAHU&list=PL834DE3EB6539E05D&index=14<br
       />)
It had been a week since his training with Duncan, and Kindron
had gotten stronger, even learning to purify spirits using the
magic Duncan taught him, and learning how to use certain
supernatural hunter magics he only knew of but couldn't use
before as another means to apply his magic power.
Kindron had gone to sleep like he always had, with Acillia and
Zack currently with Erena in Heaven as Acillia had been spending
time with her mother (Though technically, Erena is her father,
which is a heck of a story in itself). So for the night, Kindron
       was alone, and was asleep.
When he got into his sleep, he woke up in his mind, which was
strange for him to go into his mental landscape while he was
asleep. Unlike Hei who always went into his mental landscape
when he slept rather than dream, Kindron usually let his dreams
go normally, because his divination magic required natural
dreams to work properly when they showed him visions. Kindron
recognized the place he was in instantly, with the bright light
and the hilltop with the graves on them being instantly
recognizable. However, unlike before, which had many more graves
of the people Kindron had killed after Duncan was killed, the
graves had disappeared, symbolizing in his mind that he no
longer felt the weight of the people who died. Of course, there
were still two graves there that Kindron would never forget: The
first was Duncan's, and the second was Meryl Petyrovich, who was
Constantin's (Kindron's friend as a supernatural hunter) sister
and one of the first women that Kindron fell in love with.
Kindron thought it strange that he was in his head, until he
noticed a storm of darkness that seemed to be pouring into his
mind. Ever since he'd used dark arts to save Acillia's life, he
had permanently corrupted himself, and even purifying himself,
he couldn't permanently get rid of the dark spirit in his left
arm that was bonded to his body, as even cutting off the arm and
regenerating his entire arm had not gotten rid of the dark
spirit as the spirit had become fused to his being through his
left arm. Kindron had come to realize that was why his arm was
always getting stronger around dark spirits and dark arts users,
due to the dark spirits giving off darkness the spirit in his
arm would feed on and use to create more dark spirits in
Kindron's arm, as the spirit was a mix of an Asura spirit and a
legion spirit. The dark spirit tried constantly to get Kindron
to do things against his religion, and would gain more dark
spirit power to generate more dark spirits in it's "legion" in
Kindron's arm. It was also why it constantly tried to get
Kindron to use dark arts, so that it could bond even more with
Kindron while also becoming more powerful and eventually corrupt
his soul (or possibly even consume it). Because of this, Kindron
couldn't permanently get rid of the spirit, as no one had been
able to permanently do more than purify the legions of dark
spirits generated by the asura legion spirit. Because the spirit
had been affected by Kindron's Heaven's Gate piece spirit, the
spirit had become immune to holy power, and spirit purification
power, and it made trying to get rid of it almost impossible (as
Kindron didn't have any spirit destruction abilities that might
work on it, and no one had any spirit destruction abilities that
wouldn't destroy Kindron's soul in the process).
Kindron sighs as he notices the spirits. Kindron: You guys don't
own the place so get lost! He says as he fires a blast of
lightning some of the dark spirits, which destroys a few weaker
dark spirits. However, they don't seem to care at all as they
just look to Kindron, as none of the spirits could do anything
to his mind with him in it. Since Kindron was always in control
of his mind due to his disciplined mind training, the dark
spirits had no real control. Kindron, Hei, and even Kendrix were
all among the most advanced users of the disciplined mind skill,
at least according to Qrow, as Qrow had said before that Hei and
Kindron at least had surpassed even his use of disciplined mind.
The spirit purification in his lightning magic was enough to
destroy a few of the dark spirits, but nowhere near enough of
       them.
Suddenly, a female voice could be heard behind Kindron.
Voice: Is that the best attack you have? Let me show you how
it's done. She says as she snaps her fingers, instantly creating
a mass of bolts of lightning that vaporized the entire storm,
having been fired from where the voice originated and destroyed
the horde of spirits before Kindron could even process what had
happened with bolts of lightning striking the entire mass in an
instant and vaporizing them. Kindron turns to find someone he
didn't recognize, but knew had to be familiar due to how
familiar she looked. Kindron could tell instantly that she had
to be related to him and Kierra, as he saw that this new person
looked like a black haired, much older version of Kierra, and
seemed to possess the same lightning power that Kindron had. He
had one of two thoughts on who this person could be, as his mind
was working a mile a minute. The first was that this was their
mother since she had features of both him and Kierra (though
much more of Kierra's features than Kindron's). The second,
though, was a very unpleasant thought that this might have been
a dimensional alternate child of him and Kierra, which took
Kindron to a very uncomfortable place, praying to God that he
would never have to explain a dimensional alternate like that.
He found it amusing that there was a dimension where Hei and
Raven had a kid (though they weren't related in that universe)
at the time when Daniel appeared, but now he was starting to
understand how Raven and Hei felt.
Kindron: Please... Please tell me your my mother and not some
weird alternate dimension kid... I do not like the other
possibility going through my head right now and I'm about to
claw my brain out... He says with a slight wince, completely
confused. He was half kidding about hurting himself, but he was
really considering shutting down certain parts of his brain and
ripping them out. He knew a second spirit was supposed to visit
him soon to train him, but wasn't expecting his mother who he
never remembered meeting. However, there was no doubt it was his
mother, Kina, as Kindron recognized the alchemy she used to
destroy the horde of dark spirits, as it was just like Sirion
       had described.
Kina: Yes. I'm your mother. Surprised you figured that out since
you were too young to remember me. I really don't know that I
want to hear that second possibility you came up with... She
says the last part with a sigh.
Kindron walks over. Kindron: Well... You look so much like
Kierra. And your alchemy is unmistakable. But thank god...
Kindron breathes a sigh of relief though at it being his mother
though, and not some weird alternate dimension kid. Jessica
Hellsing-Darkfire (Also known as Dagger), and Dufort
Tolodora-Darkfire were more than enough for him in terms of
weird alternate kids of his. Once he composes himself, he thinks
about the storm of dark spirits that she had just blasted and
completely destroyed Uncle Sirion said you had no equal in
lightning alchemy. He really wasn't exaggerating when he said
you could obliterate dark spirits with the snap of your
fingers... He says the last part jokingly.
Kina chuckles to herself. Kina: Yes well... That's what happens
when you have thousands of years to hone your skills like your
uncle and I did. He's unrivaled in darkness alchemy, but I'm
unrivaled in lightning alchemy. I was the elite among the elite
just like your uncle, and only your uncle and the werewolf
general Kain were able to keep up with me among alchemists,
vampire ninjas and even among dark spirits. The Darkwolfs are
the top clan in the alchemists for a reason. It's because we're
a cut above the rest. She says proudly.
Kindron: Wow... I see where Kierra gets her pride from.
Kina: We Darkwolfs have our pride... It's what drives us to
become stronger so that we can prove we're the best.
Kindron: Huh... So that's where that pride that gets her into
trouble comes from. I guess I've been pretty prideful too to a
degree... I was always curious since dad claims I didn't get it
from him... He says with a sigh.
Kina: Trust me, your father was as prideful as I was back then.
You got it from both of us. But that's something that makes us
who we are... And you'll find the power in it yourself. That
pride not only empowers us, but drives us to grow. A warrior can
never advance without pride in their abilities. She says as she
walks up and hugs Kindron. Kindron hugs her back.
After a moment, they let each other go and Kina looks to
Kindron. Kina: You have grown strong though. You may not be the
strongest alchemist, but I can tell you've grown strong in your
own way. The angel told me what you've been up to, and you've
lived up to the legacy of the Darkwolf clan about as well as you
could with everything going on... If Sirion could hear about
some of the fights you've been in as a supernatural hunter, I'm
       sure he'd be impressed.
Kindron: He... sorta was? He says, remembering when he met
Sirion. Back when we first met, he found out about me because he
knew about Wolfwing and how he trained me, and I guess my dad
talked to him and told him that I was still alive.
Kina: Yes... Wolfwing XIII right? That's where the title is at
now? Sirion and I took down Wolfwing XI. Though it wasn't before
he trained another werepyre, and that werepyre had all of his
skills. Though I admit that Wolfwing XI was a dangerous enemy,
and it took your uncle and me working together. Your uncle could
have won on his own, but it would have cost him more than an
       eye.
Kindron: Wait... So that missing eye of his was because of a
       previous Wolfwing?
Kina: That's right. It was that battle that took it from him. He
could have won without me, but he'd have lost a lot in that
battle. It would have been the closest he'd have ever come to
being defeated. I know I couldn't have won on my own though. The
new Wolfwing, I don't know, so I have no idea how he'd stack up.
But I'm sure that he's gotten even more skilled since he never
stops training, so if the last one surpassed the one we fought
and this new one suprassed that one, then he'd probably be a lot
       stronger than me.
Kindron: Then it's good you didn't fight Erimus's teacher... He
was brutal and pretty damn evil, I fought him firsthand and lost
twice. Of course... I'm not sure you and Sirion would have
needed the help. And if you fought my teacher... Well... He's
even stronger than Wolfwing XII. He obliterated Wolfwing XII
with his ultimate spell that obliterated his body and spirit.
That's his ultimate power that he's gained to kill almost anyone
       he sees as dangerous.
Kina: How strange... Surprising Sirion hasn't hunted him down if
he's able to use spirit destruction. But after the other
Wolfwing we killed, it's not that surprising he'd want to leave
them alone. The Wolfwing's get stronger and stronger with each
title holder and they learn more and more from fighting people
like us. He might be wanting to see how strong Wolfwing is
first. I know your uncle has gotten a lot more cautious in his
       old age.
Kindron: Yeah... I couldn't beat Erimus even after he trained me
solely to beat him, my friend Milos and I couldn't beat him even
when we were working together... He says with a sigh.
Kina: Hopefully that won't be the case for long. Well... On to
business, I'm afraid we can't sit here and talk all night about
the past. As much as I want to.
Kindron: Yeah... You're here to train me, I take it. I wasn't
really expecting it to be you of all people. I don't even know
what to say, or what I'll be learning.
Kina: Let's start with the obvious... What the hell is Sirion
teaching you? They haven't taught you spirit purification yet?
Or taught you to use your alchemy for more than just throwing
       magic around?
Kindron sighs. Kindron: I learned spirit purification. But I had
to start from scratch, so there's a lot of stuff for me to
learn. I've been doing pretty well though from what Sirion said.
He said I'd been advancing faster than most other alchemists.
Kina: Is that so? You're not even beyond the novice level yet,
and he thinks you're advanced? I could have taught a three year
old the skill level you're at in an hour.
Kindron: I've been working my butt of trying to master
everything that Uncle Sirion taught me! Kierra and I have both
gotten a lot stronger since we started training. She's been
training for like 700 years or something and I actually caught
up to her... Mostly... He says, getting a little heated as he
had mastered everything he had learned.
Kina sighs again and looks to Kindron. Kina: Sorry. I'm not
trying to be mean. I'm just a little frustrated cause I thought
my brother would teach you much better than me, but apparently I
was wrong. But I guess that's why he never opted to teach
people, and why I had to teach many of our clan's people how to
use alchemy. Apparently he's not a good teacher if you and
Kierra haven't mastered the basics. Let's find out what he's
taught you, though. Hit me with your strongest alchemy attack. I
need to assess what level you're at now before we start.
Kindron forms an alchemy attack, using a magic spell to generate
lightning as he draws static from the air. Thanks to his time
among humans and learning science, Kindron was pretty adept at
using lightning, and had no problem gathering it. Kindron fired
it at Kina, who caught it with her hand, letting the energy form
an orb of magic energy in her hand, and then crushes it to
       dispel the magic.
Kina: You're attacking the physical. That's not how spirit
purification works. Don't tell me they haven't taught you that
       yet.
Kindron: I did use my spirit purification... He says, tilting
       his head in confusion.
Kina: You're just applying it to your normal magic. Spirit
purification doesn't work unless you can attack them at a
spiritual level. Let me show you how it's done. She snaps her
fingers, sending a bolt of lightning that went past Kindron, and
instantly Kindron could tell the difference in their ability. It
was the same feeling he got around his uncle Sirion, despite the
fact that Sirion had never shown his alchemic abilities to him
due to Sirion's ability being a deconstruction ability. Not only
was the bolt of lightning fast enough to move by Kindron before
Kindron had even registered that the bolt had been fired, but
the bolt had a level of magic power that Kindron had never seen
in his time training, and it appeared to be a bolt that Kindron
could feel not just in his sixth sense, but even in his soul he
could feel the lightning as it crackled by. Kindron realized how
far he had to go, and realized how little he and his sister
understood of the power of alchemy, which made sense as Kindron
had never seen any of the alchemists in a real fight since he
only really trained with Sirion, and Sirion was training him
fairly slowly so Kindron could learn everything slowly and build
up his skill. As of yet, Kierra and Kindron had not been put in
battles with other alchemists, and the only other training they
had was physical combat training. The fact that Kindron had
mostly caught up to Kierra was actually fairly impressive
considering Kierra was a natural prodigy who was older than
Kindron by 50 or so years and Kindron had only been training for
       a few years.
Kindron stood speechless, processing how much stronger Kina's
magic was, the spiritual power of her magic, and how fast her
attack was. Kindron couldn't help his amazement at Kina's power.
He had heard plenty of stories about how tough his mother was in
combat, and how she was almost at Sirion's level, but Kindron
had thought it exagerrated for the sake of story telling or
people putting her powers on a pedestal. However, this show of
power showed that Kina was one of the top alchemists, no doubt
about it. Her lightning was so fast that Kindron wouldn't have
been able to counter it in a fight if he wanted to, and the
spirit power of the lightning would have probably damaged body
and soul given her spiritual power.
Kina: THAT is how you attack with alchemy and spirit
purification. She says, breaking Kindron's silence. Our magic is
designed to fight dark spirits, and protect the spirits from
threats. It's far more powerful than what you're using. There's
more than just gathering magic, and your gathering of lightning
is too slow. She sighs. We have a lot of work to do... That
angel friend oversold me on you being an advanced alchemist. I
have a long way to train you in a short time. She says as she
gets ready, as she snaps her fingers and creates a barrier of
       lightning around them.
Kindron: That explains why I can't fight dark spirits, despite
using spirit purification... I didn't know if my power was
lacking, or if it was the enhancements the dark spirits have
       gotten as of late.
Kina: I will have to push you to your limits. I only have one
request. You're going to have to train your sister since I
can't. Make sure she learned as much as I teach you.
Kindron nods. Kindron: Of course. I would never abandon my
family. As much as she annoys me, I would do almost anything to
       help her.
Kina smiles. Kina: Spoken like a Darkwolf... Or a Darkfire...
Well, both care a lot about family so... I guess it works both
ways. She looks to Kindron and gets ready. Now. Let the training
begin. Hit me with your first spell.
Kindron: Alright... Zaker! He says as he fires his basic
lightning spell. Kina catches it, crushing the lightning in her
       hand again.
Kina: You're going to have to build your lightning skills if
your spells are going to be of any use. We're going to need to
work on your ability to use lightning so that your lightning
spells passively utilize better lightning power. She says as she
holds out her hand. This is how powerful you should be able to
make that spell... Zaker! She says, using her own lightning
spell, which blasts with far more power and speed than Kindron's
lightning had. Because of how strong Kina's lightning was,
Kindron was starting to wonder if even his teozaker or his
zakerga spell could block Kina's most basic spell. Kindron
managed to absorb the lightning using his Darkfire power of
lightning, but only barely, as the spirit purification had left
him weak due to the dark spirit power in his arm, and even the
dark spirit was in some pain (though not much) despite being
       immune to spirit purification
Kina: Let's go again. Don't just gather static. Create it using
your magic. You can create it by using the air around you more
efficiently. That's the only way you're going to generate more
power. She says as she demonstrates by forming lightning around
       her hand.
Kindron: Everytime I try to do that, the air explodes though...
Well... It did give me the idea to utilize it in my alchemy He
says with a sigh. He then regains his composure I'm ready. If it
will make me half as good as you are, then I'm ready to do
whatever I have to do. He says, determined.
Kina: And you'd settle for half as good? She sighs. No. Surpass
me. Don't ever stop improving. You have the power to surpass me.
Your Darkfire and Darkwolf combined abilities give you an edge
none of us have. She says as she gets ready for another spell.
Now... It's time for the real training to begin.
       Part 2 End.
Part 3: Dark Spirits and Other Rivalries
Dark Druid Spirit Theme: Dark Spirit Suite (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A-ky9G_DFg
       )
It had been another day in London, with many people living in
fear with the constant dark spirit attacks. Even Qrow was having
a hard time keeping up, and the dark spirit activity was
starting to attract others to London. The two biggest ones being
the alchemists and the vampire ninjas.
Today though, a dark spirit had done something a little
different from the consumers and collectors that had been
attacking as of late, and this one had possessed a tree.
Strangely, the tree was a normal tree, but after being
possessed, it had grown extra branches and the roots were going
into a nearby building, as the branches started breaking down
the glass doors on the balconies to pull people out of the
apartment building. Once it had grabbed someone, the tree was
opening up it's base and swallowing people whole.
The alchemists were the first to respond, with a group led by
Kierra Darkwolf. The alchemists were trying to save the people,
and started attacking the spirit. Luckily, Kierra's wind attacks
were able to slice through the tree's branches. As the branches
were sliced, the wind would howl around the tree, as though the
three were howling in pain as the tree branches would grow back.
The only thing really weird (besides the tree being living now),
was that the tree seemed to bleed green when injured, though
they didn't know if that was dangerous or not. The alchemists
were trying to get in and attack it, but some of the alchemists
had gotten eaten by the tree as well when they tried to attack
       the base.
Voice: We'll take it from here. A voice says as they attack the
tree with lightning. At first, Kierra thought it was Kindron
since Kindron attacked with lightning, but realized it was the
last group she wanted to see.
Kierra: The alchemists have this handled. Go p*ss off,
bloodsuckers! She says to the vampire ninja group. At the front,
a man with a scarf looks to her.
Vampire Ninja: You mutts can't even do more than superficial
damage. Go bring your elites and then MAYBE, I'll be nice enough
to hand the situation over... If we haven't killed it by then.
Then maybe we'll kill you too.
Kierra looks to the vampire ninja, but is interrupted by another
vampire ninja who appears behind the vampire ninja.
Second Vampire Ninja: Commander Kazu... The earth ninjas have
gone underground. They are trying to figure out if they can free
the people trapped in the tree.
Kierra: Wait... Kazu Shinke, the Raiju? She says, knowing that
Kazu Shinke was the head of an elite vampire ninja team called
Dead Fall that rivaled her uncle, Werewolf General Kain. She
pulls herself together and grabs Kazu's shoulder, forcing him to
turn to face her. Our earth alchemists have already tried that!
There's nothing under the damn tree! Focus on killing it,
       morons! She says angrily.
While they were talking, a group of vampire ninja had taken over
attacking it, leaving the alchemists to avoid attacking in fear
of hitting the vampire ninjas, though partially the fact they
wanted nothing to do with fighting alongside the vampire ninjas.
The ninjas don't have any luck either, and some of them end up
       being eaten by the tree.
Kazu: Don't bark at me, mutt! He says angrily. They are
interrupted by tree roots that were trying to grab both Kazu and
Kierra while they were talking. However, before they can move, a
blast of lightning speeds by, shooting off the root.
Kierra was stunned by the display, as for a moment she mistook
the lightning for someone else. Kierra: Mom? She says weakly,
turning to see that Kindron was walking up to the group. Kindron
was sporting a slightly new outfit, with a white cloak that had
crosses on each shoulder, and a shield cross necklace around his
neck that had been given to him by Acillia.
Kindron: What are you two doing?! We have to work together to
bring this thing down! He says to Kazu and Kierra. Stop fighting
each other and kill the damn tree! He says as he moves past
them. I cannot believe I just said that... He says with a sigh.
Kindron then gets ready as he takes out his sword, Shinso.
Kindron: Alright Shinso... You know what to do. He says to
Shinso as the sword gets ready. Shoot to kill... Shinso! He
says, using the release command so that Shinso could spear the
tree. However, the tree tries to eat Shinso's blade, as the
blade doesn't come out the other side when Kindron stabs it.
Dammit... It's strong enough to pull the blade in? He says
surprised as he tries to pull the blade back, but can't. Shinso!
We can spear it, so fry it! He says to Shinso.
Kazu just laughs. Kazu: Foolish boy... That's wood. Lightning
cannot- Kazu is interrupted as part of the tree is destroyed by
Kindron's lightning alchemy as the part in contact with Shinso's
lightning literally causes the cells in contact with it to rip
apart forcefully, enough that Kindron pulls Shinso back.
Kazu: That lightning... That boy is no ordinary lightning user.
       He says, somewhat surprised.
Kierra: Of course... He may be a half-breed bloodsucker, but he
is at least HALF alchemist. Even if he is using matter
destruction. But he's at least acting like an alchemist... She
says to Kazu. She was a bit worried about what she saw Kindron
do with the lightning that was destroying the cells, thinking
that he was breaking the taboo of using deconstruction alchemy.
Kazu: Shut up. He says simply to Kierra.
Kierra: What's the matter? Out of insults? She says jokingly.
Kazu: Continue barking at me, and I'll cut your tongue out
myself! He says to her angrily.
Kindron jumps and tries to slice the branches that were grabbing
people and still trying to eat them. Kindron looks back for a
moment, then goes back to attacking, realizing that he was
probably on his own in this fight. Kindron: I can't believe
they're gonna sit there and argue while people are dying! I have
to end this on my own... This thing can't be allowed to keep
grabbing people. If I can't stop it, I need to stop it from
growing more branches. He thinks to himself.
Kindron tries to figure out how to destroy the tree, but comes
up with nothing. Kindron: I guess I got nothing left to lose but
to try something else... He says with a sigh. He jumps onto a
branch, and uses his new holy exploding lightning alchemy, using
his holy spirit purification lightning to blast the tree, but
instead of just running lightning through it, the lightning
explodes with holy spirit purification flames on impact, with
his magic being able to blast with lightning and explode with
flames when the lightninng impacted something. As the tree
catches fire, it howls in pain as it starts burning.
Kierra and Kazu watch as the tree starts burning. Soon, the tree
burns as the fire starts melting the tree, using Kindron's flame
alchemy aspect of burning at a temperature so hot that most
       things melt.
Kazu: I think you should lead with that next time. He says
jokingly to Kindron as Kindron lands next to them.
Kindron: That shouldn't have worked... That wood became
petrified wood when the spirit took it over. Petrified wood
doesn't burn like normal wood. He says, somewhat confused.
Kierra: Your spirit purification... It's... different. She says
as she looks to him. I think it was the flames combined with the
       spirit purfication...
Kindron waits, expecting the tree to fight back, but the tree
just continues burning until it melts.
Kazu looks to Kindron. Kazu: Pretty ballsy little mutt, aren't
ya? He says with a smile. That was our kill. But I suppose I can
let you have it. Just this once. Seeing you fight amused me.
Kindron goes over to them. He looks to both of them. Kindron:
What the hell is wrong with you two?! He says angrily. You could
have worked together and saved more people but you wasted time
       arguing!
Kazu: Great... You're going to lecture me now?
Kierra: We don't need the bloo-
Kindron: Kierra... Be quiet! I'm getting really tired of your
"Screw everyone that isn't an alchemist" attitude! He says as he
glares at Kierra, which shuts her up immediately.
Kazu looks at Kierra, who was now looking like a child being
       scolded.
Kindron: Those people are gone! If I hadn't set things up before
I got here, we'd have lost all those people to the Hell of
       Souls!
Kazu: What do you mean "set up," boy? He says to Kindron. Our
people went underground to free those people from the tree. That
spirit wouldn't have gotten away from us. He says, crossing his
       arm.
Kindron growls a bit in anger. Kindron: You don't know anything,
do you? I thought you people were experienced dark spirit
       hunters. He says to Kazu.
Kierra: Yeah! I tried to tell you the alchemists already
searched the base! She says to Kazu, but Kindron glares at her.
We tried that first Kindron! I swear! I tried to tell him
       earlier
Kindron: I know Kierra... He says softly. I'm not upset with
your strategy. You tried to save those people. At least before
you started arguing with this guy. He says as he turns to Kazu.
As they talk, a vampire ninja comes out of the ground. Vampire
Ninja: Commander Kazu. We searched the base of the trunk.
There's nothing at the bottom. It's like the people were just
disappearing. We don't know where the people are.[/b]
Kazu, realizing that Kindron knew more than what he let on,
looks to Kindron. Kazu: Well boy... You seem to know what's
going on. What happened to those people, then? And what was that
spirit? I've never seen one that possessed a tree like that.
Kindron: I've been calling it a dark druid spirit. It seems like
it's made specifically to fight those with connections to nature
and spirits. This is the third time I've seen one. It's a new
dark spirit, at least to me, that has been showing up because of
that fallen angel. He's experimenting on creating new dark
spirit types. This one was specifically created to fight both
our groups according to a Nightshade member I encountered at the
last fight. He turns to Kierra. At that time I also thought of
going for the base and freeing the people... But that's not how
it works. He says, letting Kierra know that he had tried that
last time, as he turns back to Kazu. This spirit has some sort
of... teleportation ability... Once inside the tree's base,
there's some sort of portal or something in it's base that sends
whatever it eats to the Hell of Souls directly. If I hadn't
talked to someone beforehand, it would have been disastrous...
The alchemists and vampire ninjas, as well as the humans, eaten
by that tree would be in the Hell of Souls if it weren't for me.
Kazu: And what did you do, boy?
Kindron: I had a talk with someone.
Kierra: Who was that? She asks curiously.
From the shadows, Death walks up to them. Death: That would be
me. He says with a sarcastic smile. Kierra and Kazu both look at
       him surprised.
Kierra: Lord Death... She says in greeting, bowing politely.
Kazu also bows politely, as both the alchemists and vampire
ninjas had a certain respect for Death and Toranoraos.
Death: I redirected the portal in the base of the tree. A few
people were lost before I got here, but your peoples weren't
taken by it. A few humans are in the Hell of Souls, but I got
most of them redirected. They are dead though unfortunately as
the trip through the "portal" does kill them. But I made sure
they are getting to the afterlife. I just wanted to let the boy
here know that I did my part as much as I could. He says,
       pointing to Kindron.
Kindron bows politely. Kindron: Thank you for your help.
Death: You saved me from losing some souls to Xeles... We'll
consider it even, my boy. He says with a smile before he goes
back to the shadow and disappears.
Afterward, Kindron sighs. Kindron: Now... I'm going back to the
alchemists. I need to have a talk with my uncle. And I'd like to
speak to your superiors too. He says to Kazu. For guardians of
humanity, both of you groups are lousy at your jobs. He says to
them. But realizing he had done enough lecturing, he decides to
leave as he starts walking away.
Kazu turns to Kindron as he walks away. Kazu: Before you leave,
boy... Tell me your name. Next time we meet, I would like to
call you by name if possible.
Kierra: What about me? She says angrily, as it annoyed her
everytime someone showed interest in Kindron and ignored her,
even if it was technically one of their enemies.
Kazu: I couldn't care less about you, mutt. He says to Kierra.
Only true warriors earn my respect as a fellow fighter.
Kindron stops and turns to Kazu. Kindron: It's Kindron. Kindron
       Darkfire.
Kazu: I am Kazu Shinke... A grandmaster of the vampire ninjas
and leader of the elite team Dead Fall... Remember it because we
will meet again. Your lightning powers intrigue me.
Kindron: Well... I have titles, but none of which seem really
impressive. He says with a shrug. I'll remember it. He says to
Kazu, having a feeling that Kazu asking his name meant that Kazu
was probably going to fight him at some point like everyone else
who seems to take an interest in Kindron.
Kazu: I'm not sure I believe that, Wolf Hunter, or should I call
you Wolf Mask? He says with a smile.
Kindron looks at Kazu in surprise. Kindron: How do you know
       about my old names?
Kazu: Our group keeps tabs on all alchemists... Even the weird
ones. You may not have been part of their society, but our
people did our research... I knew you being a werepyre meant you
had to be one of two people. We watched you for years. Luckily
you never killed any of us, or we'd have killed you by now. But
now... You might be worth fighting. He says before he vanishes
into his shadow and then disappears.
Kindron turns to Kierra with a sigh. Kindron: I can NOT handle
anymore "interest" in me... Seriously. I got like 10 high level
evil guys that want my head specifically! He says, rubbing his
       head in slight annoyance.
Kierra just sighs. Kierra: Be careful around that guy... Uncle
Kain even has trouble with him.
Kindron: Fantastic... He says sarcastically. Let's go back to
Sirion. I need to tell him what happened and ask a few
       questions.
Kierra: Fine. He'll want to know about the vampire bloodsuckers
       being here too.
       End of Part 3.
       Part 4: Another Battle Over
       Sirion/Kain Talk Theme: Vegeta's Vision (
  HTML https://youtu.be/nYPS1tl5ar8
       )
It hadn't been long after the dark spirit battle that Kindron
had told Sirion what had happened. He had made it a point to
mention how annoyed he was that Kierra hadn't even attempted to
work with the vampire ninjas rather than try to work together to
save people. If it hadn't been for Kindron having talked to
Death beforehand, they would have lost a lot of people, not just
humans, but some of their own as well.
After the incident though, Kierra had also privately talked to
Sirion. After hearing what Kierra had to say, Sirion and Kain
had called Kindron to come talk to them, as they wanted to
discuss certain things with Kindron. As Kindron walks up to
Sirion and Kain, he looks a bit concerned. Kierra was standing
next to them, and looks over at Kindron.
       Kindron: What's going on?
Sirion: We had a few things to discuss. I wanted to ask you some
questions. The first one was how you managed to advance so
quickly all of a sudden. Not even Kierra knows the secret of
spirit purification and the advanced power yet. But she said you
were attacking the dark spirit on a spiritual plane and you
learned how to utilize your mother's alchemy, something that I
know we haven't taught you. He says, a bit concerned.
Kindron: Right... I didn't tell you did I? He says with a sigh.
Apparently, an angelic friend of mine apparently pulled some
strings and got me some training. The first one was a
supernatural hunter, but his training wasn't anything to do with
alchemy, so it's not important right now. The second... He gets
serious for a moment. I saw mom. She taught me the spirit
purification, and lightning alchemy. She was a spirit, but she
came to train me. She spent a good 10 hours in my mind... Which
was like 2 years since time moves differently in the mind... And
she taught me pretty much everything I needed to know. He looks
to Sirion, not wanting to say what he was going to. She told me
to tell you you're a lousy teacher and that Kierra and I should
be way more advanced given you're the one training us. Sorry...
I'm just passing on the message. He says, expecting Sirion to
       get pissed.
Much to their surprise, and to Kierra's, Sirion just laughs.
Sirion: She's not wrong. He then gets serious. I will admit... I
was never good at teaching people. But you and your sister had
to be trained by me. No other clan would train you because
they're afraid of those that might be born with my power of
darkness. Plus, not many could teach like your mother did. She
made elites out of more of her students than any other teacher
in the alchemists, but she also put some in the infirmary
because she was too harsh. I tried to avoid that with you and
Kierra. He says the last part with a sigh.
Kindron: Well... That aside. She taught me how to use spirit
purification. She also wanted me to teach Kierra, and show her
how to use lightning alchemy. He says, looking to Kierra. Kierra
was a bit shocked but smiles a bit.
Kierra: Thanks... But I have my own brand of alchemy. Sirion can
       teach me the spirit purification.
Sirion: Well... That answers that. He sighs in relief. I was a
bit worried that you were getting information from outside the
village. That would not have been a good start. He then gets
serious again. Now my second question. Kierra says you've used
deconstruction alchemy. I told you that power is taboo among our
       kind.
Kindron tilts his head. Kindron: When did I use it? The only
time I even attempt it is to use it to cancel out an enemy of
mine's deconstruction alchemy, and that's just to cancel out the
       power. I don't use it beyond that.[/b]
Kierra: The dark tree spirit. Your lightning destroyed part of
the tree by deconstructing the part it was in contact with. It
       was just like mother's alchemy.
Sirion: I just want to make sure you're not using the power
recklessly. Kina could use it as well and I suspected you'd
figure it out eventually, but it's a dangerous power.
Kindron: Right... That... He sighs and tries to explain. It's
not deconstruction. I'm not that skilled with alchemy to do that
with lightning. Basically, I use my lightning to change the
charge of the individual molecules, and force the cells to repel
each other. It doesn't destroy the cells, it just pushes them
apart until they basically become part of the air. It's not
destruction, just basically making molecules repel each other,
like holding two magnets together. It's hard to do though... And
it takes a lot of energy to do though. Shinso used up most of
its power using that. Plus I used some of my father's training
which he learned to overload insulators, because anything
becomes a conductor if you pump enough energy into it. Well...
That's the idea more or less.
Sirion: I see. He thinks for a moment.
Kain: So... I have a question for you. I know I haven't talked
to you much. He says to Kindron. Your arm. Has it gotten worse?
Kindron: No... It's fine for now. It does get stronger if there
are dark arts users or dark spirits around, but after mother's
training, I think I can keep the spirit from creating more
spirits now thanks to being able to focus my magic with spirit
purification. It's immune still like I told you before, but at
least it can weaken the spirit thanks to mother's training
making my spirit purification so much stronger.
Kain: Good. I was a bit worried we were going to have to remove
       your arm.
Kindron looks at him, confused. Kindron: I tried that. Removing
and regrowing my arm doesn't help. It just comes back.
Kain: No... I mean we would have to make sure you don't
regenerate that arm. We could destroy it if you were separated
from it and we could contain it in the arm, but that means you
wouldn't be able to use it.
Kindron: Would that work? He says, questioning. I'd like to get
rid of it, and I could have my allies make me an artificial arm.
Some of our people have artificial limbs, and I could figure out
a way to make it work.
Kain: No... It's not a permanent solution. Just a temporary one.
If you were to remove it, the spirit would eventually reappear
somewhere else if we couldn't break the connection between you.
Kindron: I see... He says with a sigh. Darn... Part of me was
kinda hoping I could get one of those arms like that Raven kid
has. But I guess this is probably better in the long run. He
       says with a shrug.
Sirion: Well... That just leaves us with one last question we
want to ask. He says to Kindron. Kierra has a smile, hoping this
was going to be Sirion lecturing Kindron for what he said in
       battle
Sirion: Kain and I have been talking it over, and we agreed that
if your answers were satisfactory we were going to ask this...
He looks to Kindron. Kain has a place for you in the Dawnguard.
You've shown yourself to be an advanced alchemist, and Kain
wanted to train you specifically since we trust you will use
       that power responsibly.
Kierra: Wait what?! She says angrily, looking to Sirion and
Kain. What about me?! I've been working my ass off trying to
join! And you're letting him join for what?! A little show of
alchemy that he used on that dark tree spirit?!
Kain: Kierra... You know why I haven't had you join. He says as
he looks over to Kierra with a serious look. You only seek
power. I don't let anyone in my group with that mentality. You
want power so you can be the best, and I understand that, but
you only want it so you can become stronger, and that is not the
right way to use the power of the Dawnguard.
Kindron thinks as Kierra tries to figure out what to say next
but speaks up before Kierra can voice an objection. Kindron: I'm
       sorry... But I decline.
Sirion: May I ask why? He asks Kindron curiously.
Kierra: Yeah, brother! I may not like you as a half-breed
abomination, but this is a rare chance you've been offered. I'd
kill for this chance! She says to Kindron.
Kindron sighs a bit. Kindron: I'm sorry... I just don't want to
get too deep into the alchemist society. No offense to you guys,
but what I saw in that battle showed me that you alchemists take
far too much pride in yourselves. You said the vampire ninja
were the ones being too prideful, but now I've started to see
that the problem isn't just them. The alchemists are just as
prideful and I don't want to get sucked into that mentality.
Plus... I've decided on another path. I'm still going to be
around to help you guys fight dark spirits and contribute to
your society since I did agree that I would in exchange for
being trained, but I also want to show you guys that you've
relied too much on pride. I'm not going to let pride control me.
Lastly, I can't afford anymore responsibilities right now.
Between Hellsing, taking care of my son, and starting up my own
tech company that I've been trying to get off the ground, I've
been really busy, and I don't want to divide my attention more
       than I have to.
Though it was hard to see, Kain was smiling a bit. Kain: I
see... No one has ever rejected my offer before. It's a bit
       strange.
Kindron: Yeah, sorry. I appreciate the offer. He says with a
       polite bow.
Sirion: It's fine. Honestly, I thought it was 50/50 on if you
were going to join after what you said.
Kindron: I did realize one thing though... He says in thought.
If I am going to help your society, I'm going to try and teach
them not to be so damn prideful. You guys think you're being
strong, but your pride is getting to the point where you people
don't even admit your own faults.
Sirion sighs. Sirion: Sadly... You are correct on that. The
alchemists pride is both our greatest strength and our greatest
weakness. Kain and I have tried to keep the pride of the
alchemists in check, but even we have our moments of pride.
Kindron: It was something my mother said as well that I should
have pride in my heritage... I do have pride in that, but I also
cannot afford to let it cloud me. Pride has done that to me too
many times. If I hadn't been so damn prideful, Meryl would still
be alive, and Constantin would still be my friend. Hell, maybe
Nightbane wouldn't have gotten a big head if I'd been a better
example. He says, remembering the past. Anyway... That's my
       answer.
Kain: Well... Know that if you change your mind, the position
will be there. As long as you remain how you are, and don't
become power hungry like your sister, you will be accepted in
the Dawnguard by me and Sirion.
Kierra: Damn it all... She says with a sigh. I don't know what
to be angrier about... His response, or you not having any faith
       in me! She says angrily.
Kindron: Kierra. I know you're strong. But if you don't control
that pride, it's going to get people killed. If it hasn't
already. He says to Kierra. Oh... That reminds me... He summons
a knife and throws it to Sirion.
Sirion: What is this? Is this spyrix? He says, analyzing the
       blade.
Kindron: No... I modified it into a new metal. One that acts
like a spirit purification. I'm calling it spyrite. If I can
stablize the transition from spyrix into spyrite, I can turn it
into a spirit purification metal. Only problem is that the blade
can't handle interaction with spirits for long before the blade
       literally melts.
Kierra: Wait... So you modified spyrix?! Not even our advanced
alchemists can do that! She says, surprised.
Kindron: I can see why... Spyrix isn't an easy metal to
       manipulate.
Sirion: What happens when the blade melts? Does it revert back?
       He asks curiously.
Kindron: No. It just turns into a puddle of melted iron, and I'm
still trying to figure that one out... He says the last part
jokingly. I have no idea how since I don't understand the
molecular structure of spyrix. I had a lot of help from my
alternate son, Dufort in making it.
Sirion: Then even if we cannot stablize it... We now at least
have a method to safely dispose of it if that is true. He says
in thought. Even in this state, this is quite the
accomplishment. We've been trying for years to dispose of spyrix
deposits, but haven't been able to. We don't even know what
       creates it.
Kindron: Something that my dad's sword said to me, about him
being modified to purify instead of destroy spirits... It made
me wonder if that was possible if Heaven could do it. I found
that it's possible. But I haven't found the right stablizing
agent yet for the chemical reaction. I was hoping you guys could
look at it. I'm almost out of ideas.
Sirion shakes his head and throws the knife back to Kindron, who
catches it. Sirion: We've tried for years to. And I fear our
involvement in this will cause problems. We may get a bunch of
people looking to use this spyrite for their own gain. Work on
it still, but don't tell anyone. And know that for every deposit
of spyrix that is disposed of, you will be saving the lives of
many spirits. He says to Kindron.
Kain: We will come to you if we find anymore spyrix... If you
can safely convert it to this metal, even now, it will be highly
beneficial to be able to convert as much of this metal as we
can. Like Sirion said... We'd be saving many spirits that way.
Kindron: Alright. I'll give it some more thought and talk to
Dufort again. Oh... I had something I wanted to ask you. He says
to Sirion and Kain. So... My son, Dufort... Or, he's an
alternate universe son. He's a vampire who's part celestian. He
learned your alchemy power, and he's about at the level Kierra
is, though he does use his unique spells much more... wisely...
than I use mine. I was wondering if it's okay for me to teach
him the more advanced stuff I learned as long as we follow the
rules. I'll even bring him here if that's what you want to
       train.
Sirion thinks for a moment. Sirion: It should be fine. If I
trusted him in another universe, I suspect I'd trust him here.
That boy that was my son from another universe was quite an
impressive one, so I think this other one must be equally as
impressive if I allowed a vampire to be trained as an alchemist.
Kindron: Okay. Just wanted to be sure. Well, I'm gonna go. I've
got some work to do at home. He says as he waves and walks away,
to which the others wave back. After Kindron leaves, Kierra
leaves as well, frustrated at everything that just happened as
she heads to the training area to do some serious training.
After Kierra leaves and Kain and Sirion are alone, Sirion turns
       to Kain.
       Sirion: What did you think?
Kain: I admit... I'm surprised. I knew he was strong after that
last fight he was in. He's a surprisingly humble fighter for how
strong he is. If he had some pride in himself, he'd probably
rival some of my strongest elites.
Sirion: I knew he'd advance quickly, but such a fast
       advancement...
Kain: What did you expect, since your sister trained him. He
sighs. It makes me miss the old days.
Sirion: Indeed. It makes me wonder a few things.
Kain: I used to resent the boy... But I realize now that it was
his father I resented. I used to wish that Kirnan hadn't pushed
Kina away, then maybe the war would never have happened if that
Safiria woman had no reason to get involved with us... If Kirnan
hadn't been so... controlling, maybe things would have been
       different.
Sirion: I don't think it's that easy... I wonder sometimes if
she would have married Qrow even if Kirnan had been nice to her.
I don't think she ever wanted to be married to him.
Kain: I know... Deep down, I know that things shouldn't have
gone any other way... I know know that the boy has a strong
heart, and I see what you meant now about the advantages he has.
Not only is he quickly catching up to the elites, but he's also
managed something like purifying spyrix... I can't believe that
       he's managed such a feat.
Sirion: Indeed. I knew he'd be a great help to the alchemists.
But I didn't expect this. I'm proud that he's gotten so strong.
Kain: I'm a little annoyed though... I'm not used to people
saying no to my offer. He says somewhat bitterly, but mostly
       jokingly.
Sirion just laughs. Sirion: It was surprising, but also at the
same time, I should have expected it.
       End of Part 4
       Part 5: An Old Friend
Hanging out with Friends Theme: Bluecat (

       )
After everything that had happened lately, Kindron decided he
needed a drink. With the spirit attacks, the incident with the
vampire ninjas, and everything to come, he figured it was time
for him to take some time off. He had called Hei, and he had
decided to drink with Hei since it had been a while since they
had hung out. When Kindron got to the bar, which had been closed
since it was after hours and the only people there were Hei and
someone else. Hei was dressed much more casually than normal,
just wearing basic clothes rather than his black jacket like he
       normally did
However, when he got there, Kindron was greeted by a face he
wasn't expected, as he saw his friend, Milos Sojikov, sitting
next to Hei (who was the other person in the bar).
As Milos notices him, he gets up and goes to greet Kindron.
Milos: Kindron Darkfire... My brother. He says with a smile as
       he hugs Kindron.
Kindron chuckles and hugs him back. Kindron: Milos! I didn't
know you were in town. Much less hanging out with this jerk of
all people. He says, teasing Hei.
Milos: I admit... When I heard Hei Darkfire's name, I thought it
was you... Rumor was that he was originally named Kindron, so I
thought you were putting together criminal group. Bratva sought
to join global criminal group who promise justice, and I spoke
kind words about owner of group...
Hei: Yeah, that was an awkward greeting. He says with a sigh.
Kindron: Right... So... Apparently my dad had a son, which I
didn't know till I got to London. He was originally named
Kindron Darkfire II after my dad thought I was dead. Of course,
he changed his name when he met me and people called us both
Kindron. He says with a shrug. Actually... The real last straw
that forced him to change his name was when I started calling
       him Jr. He says jokingly.
Milos laughs in response. Milos: Ah... That is funny. He says as
he sits down. He grabs his drink. Come and sit... We toast, dah?
Kindron smiles and sets his own bottle of alcohol on the table.
Kindron: If any of you want any, I brought a bottle. I needed
something different from the cinnamon whiskey. He says as he
sits down as well, putting the bottle on the table.
Hei looks over at it, reading the name. Hei: Evan Williams Apple
Burbon Whiskey... When did you become a pushover? He says
       sarcastically.
Kindron: Hey... Don't knock it till you try it. It's pretty damn
       good.
Milos: Then we try shots of all, dah? He says as he puts his
arms around Hei and Kindron's shoulders. We all should enjoy the
       night.
MIlos then moves and gives two glasses to Hei and Kindron.
Milos: We start with this. He says as he had already had three
       drinks prepared.
Hei: Sounds good. He says as he gets his drink ready, to whick
Kindron got ready as well. Since Hei had spent time with Milos,
and Kindron knew Milos pretty well, they both knew at this point
it was usually customary for Milos to toast.
Milos: Prochnost. He says as they all toast.
Hei: I've heard you say that... What does that mean?
Kindron: It means "To strength." It's something the Bratva say
when they toast among the othe Bratva, or those they consider
       family. He explains.
Milos: Indeed. Now then... He chugs down the drink, as Hei and
       Kindron do the same.
Almost immediately, Kindron realized that his was Hei's drink,
not the Russian Vodka that Milos usually prepared. Kindron
starts coughing immediately after he gulped down the drink.
Kindron: Oh my god! That's so spicy! He says, coughing. That's
not fun, that's straight up torture! He says before grabbing
some water and starts drinking it.
Milos and Hei just laugh. Milos: If it makes you feel better, I
had one earlier with Hei... I wasn't prepared either. I did
introduce him to my vodka, and that did give him slight kick in
       teeth. He says jokingly.
Kindron takes a moment, trying to catch his breath after the
coughing. Kindron: Oh man... That shaved a few years off my
life. He says weakly. What is with you people and your overly
spicy stuff? What the hell does Alice put in that stuff, Hei?!
       He asks Hei.
Hei: It's ghost pepper whiskey, with some spiced cherry rum,
lemon juice, and a cinammon stalk to stir the drink and add a
       little extra kick.
Kindron: The whole damn drink is a kick! Seriously... The only
thing you're missing is some chili powder or jalapenos to add
even more kick! He says to Hei.
Hei: That's why it's called the Hellrider and people have to
order it specifically in our bar. He says sarcastically.
Kindron pours a drink of his apple whiskey burbon, and gives
them each a drink. Kindron: Well, mine is nothing compared to
that, but if you guys like this, you can try mixing dad's
Tennessee Fire with this to add kick since you guys are
apparently into just burning yourselves alive. He says with a
       sigh.
Hei: I thought you liked spicy stuff. You liked that spicy
cherry rum and the cinnamon whiskey burbon right? He says as he
       takes the glass.
Kindron: Yeah... But drinking is supposed to be fun. I don't
wanna kill myself. He says sarcastically.
Milos: Well... We will enjoy this then. He says as he takes his
       drink.
Kindron: Well... It's not much, but I guess... To spicy drinks.
He says as he toasts. Hei and Milos drink theirs as Kindron
drinks his. As they finish the drink, Hei and Milos stop for a
       moment to analyze the drink.
Milos: Not bad... I thought it was going to be sweet... But it's
got a kick to it too.
Hei: Yeah... This really isn't bad. Is the cinnamon and apple
       mixed together good?
Kindron: Yeah... It's not bad. The flavors don't blend together
too well, but it's still good if you like both.
Hei: I might recommend this to Alice then. She's been looking
for things to mix with the cinammon whiskey the old man drinks
because she doesn't like how weak it is on its own.
Kindron: Are you kidding? Alice is outdrinking dad now?! He
says, surprised. That's a shock... I didn't think anyone could
       outdrink him.
Milos: Is your father... strong drinker, I take it?
Kindron: He used to be the record drinker. He'd only drink
cinammon whiskey, or something extremely strong. But now it
seems like Hei's girlfriend has the record title... He says with
       a sigh.
Milos: Is that so? He says to Hei. I'd like to see if she can
keep up with me. Maybe invite your father next time too. We can
       experiment with drinks.
Kindron: No ghost pepper whiskey if we're experimenting. He says
to them both. Seriously... That stuff is way too strong for me.
Milos: Maybe we try mixing stronger Russian Vodka in drink. I
have some stuff that can outpace your ingredients, at least
beside the ghost pepper whiskey. He says to Hei.
Kindron: Seriously, why would you want to make it worse! You
guys are crazy! He says to them.
Milos just laughs. Milos: Never underestimate power of people
       who drink regularly.
Kindron: Maybe that's my problem then... He says with a sigh.
Since he only drank occassionally, it meant he was as tolerat as
Hei and Milos who drank more often than he did.
Milos: Anyway... Brother. He turns to Kindron. Hei tells me you
have girlfriend, and you have son. Congrats. I'm glad you
finally stopped obsessing over that Meryl girl. It wasn't
       healthy. He says cheerfully.
Kindron smiles. Kindron: Yeah... You'd like Acillia. She's
pretty nice. And Zack is a good kid. It's strange... I always
thought I would never be able to let go of what happened to
Meryl, but I realized not long ago that I don't think about her
as much since I got with Acillia. The only reason I think about
Meryl is that I don't want to make the same mistakes I made back
       then. He says to Milos.
Milos: In my family we have saying: There is no problem
beautiful woman cannot fix. He says jokingly to Kindron.
Kindron just chuckles to himself. Kindron: Yeah... Her and Zack
both have changed my life. He says with a warm smile.
Milos: I'm jealous... You both have good woman, and good kids. I
am not so lucky... Not enough women in Bratva. He says jokingly.
Kindron: Well... Hei and I got really lucky. I'm the one that
tells terrible jokes, and Hei's basically got the social skills
of a rock. He says jokingly.
Milos: Don't worry... I know that feeling. He says as he pats
       Hei on the shoulder.
Kindron: Well... Let's enjoy the night.
Hei pours the Russian Vodka, since Milos had already toasted his
       round of drinks.
Kindron: This isn't more ghost pepper whiskey is it? He says
suspicious as Hei hands him the glass.
Hei: No. This is Milos's vodka. It's about as strong as the
stuff you brought... Well, maybe a little stronger.
Kindron: I've had the stuff Milos drinks. He drinks some strong
stuff. He says as he takes the glass.
Hei: Well... To brothers. Doesn't matter if it's blood or not,
       we're all brothers. He says.
Kindron: Wow Hei... That was actually pretty good. You don't
usually say such heartfelt lines. He says as they all toast and
       drink the Russian Vodka.
Hei: Don't get used to it. He says to Kindron, who just
       chuckles.
Milos: This is good... Brothers together, having fun. I missed
this. It's been too many years...
Kindron: Yeah... We just switched out Erimus with Hei. He says
jokingly, remembering the times they would drink with Wolfwing.
Milos: Indeed. But next time we bring Wolfwing, dah? He is
brother too. He says with a smile.
Kindron: Only if he wants to... He doesn't like being near the
city if he can help it. But if he is willing, then we can bring
him here. I'm sure Hei will probably try to recruit him.
Hei: Already tried... He wasn't interested. I offered him plenty
of people to fight... And then Kendrix challenged him to a
       fight.
Kindron: Sorry I missed that. He says with a laugh. How badly
       did Kendrix lose?
Hei: It was pretty bad. Kendrix tried everything, even trying to
take his soul and nothing worked. I can't believe he was your
teacher... I'm surprised your not a hell of a lot stronger given
       how tough he is.
Kindron: There was a lot that Milos and I weren't willing to
learn... Like destroying spirits, or twisting everything to our
advantage. We opted to get stronger on our own, without having
to rely on twisting others to our advantage.
Milos: Indeed. I have gotten stronger, but I'm afraid I'm still
no match for Wolfwing. Even Wolfwing has been training.
Hei: Well... Next time we'll see if he wants to join us. Until
       then, let's enjoy the night.
       Milos: Agreed. He says cheerfully.
Kindron knew the future would be difficult and difficult battles
were to come, but he enjoyed the time with Milos and Hei.
Thinking back now, Kindron hadn't felt this happy in years, and
felt that this was a new beginning for him. Hopefully, he could
make use of this new life he felt he'd been given, as he felt
free of the mistakes of his past for the first time in a long
       time.
       End.
