Terros is one of the first to sense Max's fear along with
reading her body language. Although he won't make things worse
by blocking the exit, he will make sure that Max doesn't do
anything stupid. Meanwhile, Elias form a deep frown as Genzo rub
the back of his head in irritation.
Genzo: So what now? If what she says is true, that means that
Ragnarok is really a sh*t stain of a organization that needs to
be taught a lesson.
Han: If it helps, I have a list of those involved of this
sickening project done on young Angel here. It's not much but
it's a start. It will benefit if Max here will tell us
everything she knows about this group. There could be more like
them.
Fang: It won't surprise me. Jeb does love his secrets and
surprises.

Kindron scratches his chin for a moment as he thinks after
hearing Max's explanation. It had seemed Kindron's analysis of
Garton Xeno and his operation procedures would need some
revising since he clearly didn't know enough about Jeb's hiring.
He then responds to Genzo. Send the information to Special
Forces instead then. They should still be based in Russian
Special Forces right now. If Garton Xeno is allowing these
experiments, then I assume Special Forces will take action to
put a stop to these experiments or at the very least, force
Ragnorok to suspend them. He then looks back to Max. Not giving
choice to those artificially created in a lab is how Ragnorok
lost their greatest creations (Vin and Rei). Garton changed
that when he chose to let those created by them and by Shinra's
SOLDIER program have their own choice. That's why the clones of
Maya Zolnerowich and the cyborg Jack Raiden are so loyal to
Ragnorok and to Garton Xeno. Genus tried to program them, but
Garton Xeno proved that choice is quite powerful because Jack
and Maya could have chosen to run off with Genus, but they chose
Ragnorok. Of course... My information on them appears to be a
little outdated if he's allowing experiments like what this Jeb
is doing, so who knows at this point. If you do get a chance,
look up Vin Zolnerowich and Rei Darkfire. They were created by
Ragnorok, and treated like possessions of Ragnorok. They were
loyal to Ragnorok to a fault, and Genus still tried to have them
killed thinking they were too weak. If you want to talk to
someone who understands being created in a lab, they're the ones
you want to talk to, because they have lived it and understand
it better than anyone else.
Kindron then shifts his gaze to Angel, kneeling down on his good
knee, using his cane for support as he tries to bring himself to
eye level. It was a means to try and show that he wasn't a
threat. Of course, it took a little longer than normal due to
his bad leg. While Kindron didn't look like much on the surface
as he just looked like a man could only limp around (which was
why he was using his cane to walk), those that knew him knew he
was far more dangerous than he appeared. He looks to Angel
Kindron: I imagine you must be pretty scared right now. It's
okay. When we stabilize whatever that doctor did to you, you
will be free to leave if that's what you want. We simply want to
make sure that what they did to you won't kill you or worse.
Though his voice is rough and raspy, he tried to sound as
friendly as he could to Angel, trying to ease her as best he
could.

Max: Yes. I’ve heard about those two in passing while working in
the labs at Ragnorok. I feel that Mister Xeno likely only
allowed Jeb to continue such projects because they remained
unaffiliated with him and his organization. The projects were
all done in the name of another company and none ever occurred
in Garton’s own lab. The only cross over would have been
whatever DNA sample he brought from Angel after his work today.
That’s not happening anymore. Anyways, Jeb just works in both
places, so as awful as he once was don’t blame Xeno for my
fathers actions. I feel it’s all a bit moot now anyways given
that he isn’t doing any more of this and all his future projects
will have much more freedom than we ever did. Things were
different for us at Itexicon than they will be for whatever Jeb
creates for Xeno. She looks at Han then with a nod. I have
backdated copies of the entire Flock’s medical history so to
speak. I also have some general bits of a paper trail for
Itexicon itself, but it’s not a lot. They’re incredibly good at
covering they’re tracks from the general population and even
most of the scientific community. They only exist if they made
you or want to know you. I’d also of course be willing to
provide my own testimony either spoken or written provided of
course that some conditions are met.
Angel’s eyes seemed clouded with both fear and a timid unsurity.
Nonetheless she tries to smile though it doesn’t reach her eyes
at all. Her voice is quiet and so youthful yet mature that it’s
heartbreaking to think of what she’s been through. Angel: I’m
not scared of what he did to me or what it might cause. The way
he messed with me as a baby changed me. I can do all kinds of
things because of a small dna splice that kept changing as I
grew. She starts to sound almost sad. So i’m not scared. I can
handle if it hurts. It’s what I know. She looks up and around at
the people crowded about the room. These people scare me..I
don’t know them. And I can’t leave. I have nowhere else to go. I
don’t have a home or family really. And then Kindron can hear
that same youthful voice in his head though nowhere near as sad
and scared and it seems that nobody else can really pick up on
it unless they knew to check You also scare me too. Maybe not as
much as you scare others, but I know better than to think you’re
broken and weak. Weak people aren’t running the show.

Genzo: On it, Boss!
Han: listens to Max That's a good start. We'll be able to sort
through this with Genzo along with sending the information to
Special Forces.
Hana: listens to Angel and makes a joking gesture by placing a
hand on her chest Hey, we're not scary monsters. I mean, sure,
the guys could be a bit off putting but they're not too bad once
you get to know them.
If Angel use her mental powers, she would know that the Six
Ascendants aren't so different from the flock since they have
similar yet different tragic backstories. Sure, what they went
through did turn them into terrifying monsters in the eyes of
the ones who hurt them and bystanders but thanks to R. Kindron,
they manage to tone down a little and look at life in a
different matter. This also means that what Hana said isn't
false. Well, Hana is no better since she also got some darkness
in her (metaphorically) despite her being a child of a Norse
light deity.

Kindron chuckles a bit at Angel's telepathic response as he gets
up and walks back over to his chair, sitting down at his desk.
Kindron: No, Hana... The child is right to be afraid of us. He
says, responding to Hana's response about them not being
monsters. Fear is the mind's way of recognizing a threat. We
can't let fear control us, but ignoring it completely is also
not correct. We don't seem like monsters to each other, but to
an outsider... There's no reason why we wouldn't. He then turns
to Angel. You're quite smart for your age... But there is one
mistake in your analysis. You may have no home, but that doesn't
mean you have no where to go. You have more options than you
realize. You could go to Garton Xeno directly, and he would
likely grant you better conditions, though that is a double
edged sword. Your best option is to go to Special Forces. You'll
find they took in experiments, clones of Vendetta and Kindron,
who were artificially created just like you. Special forces not
only gave them a home, they adopted them into their family. They
would do the same for you. Young Vendetta and young Vin would
make sure of that. Vendetta has some a little bit of anger
toward some of these groups, but you'd find young Vin and you
have a lot of similarities. Your other option is to find a small
group of angels led by Gabriel and Muriel. They would also give
you a home with them. And then... Your last option is to join us
if you wish. He turns to look out the window.
Omega walks past Max, going over to Angel. He leans down to
Angel and holds out his mechanical hand to her. Omega: I can
help... Pain is normal... For me too... He says to her. He
wasn't trying to sugarcoat how pain could be overcome or
something, but seemed sincere about the fact that he wanted to
help Angel as much as he could. His eyes were no longer the cold
emotionless eyes from before, but he seemed sympathetic toward
Angel. Angel would likely sense Omega as part fallen angel. His
normal eye had an unusual sadness behind it (his mechanical eye
was just it's normal state). If Angel analyzed Omega, she'd
likely find that Omega hadn't turned fallen angel because of his
own choice, but was forced to corrupt himself as a result of the
doctor's control that took control of him due to the cybernetics
put into his body. Of course, him wanting to help Angel could
have also been because he felt like Angel was similar to him, in
that he might seem like he saw helping her as possibly being
redemption for the things he had done while under an evil
doctor's control. While Omega isn't afraid to kill his enemies,
Omega isn't someone who has malicious intent toward anyone, and
that would be something else Angel might sense as well.
Fu: I didn't know you were so emotional, Omega. He says with a
surprised expression as he notices Omega being out of character.
Kindron looks over at Omega curiously. Kindron: Omega used to
have a family... Two sons and a daughter. They were murdered by
the evil doctor who turned Omega into the fallen angel cyborg he
is now and took control of him for many years. It's quite rare
to see that fatherly side of him. He says, responding to Fu.

Max: Then I’ll provide what I can as soon as possible.
Angel: There’s always a but to help offered Mister… She
momentarily hesitates but eventually settles a hand into Omega’s
as she spoke. You never offer something for nothing no matter
how terrible the situation we’re running from is. I’d like your
terms.

Kindron: Make sure no one is going to follow these two here. The
last thing I want is unwanted guests trying to infiltrate my
territory. They shouldn't be able to get into the space I've
created for this territory, but no sense taking chances. He says
to Elias.
Omega: No... conditions... He says to Angel as he takes her
hand. He then speaks to her telepathically so that he could
avoid having to strain his voice. His telepathic voice reflected
his original self, and not the deep and robotic voice he
normally gave off. It was one of the few times he spoke
mentally, and only Angel would be able to hear it. Omega's
mental voice was somewhat similar to Kindron's voice, but wasn't
as raspy as Kindron's voice and a bit more of a normal tone
voice. I do not know what you have experienced or what you've
been told, but not everyone is out for themselves. I chose to
help you because you're like me... A doctor used you for their
own gain. I suppose if I gain anything, it's that I hope helping
you will make sure you don't suffer like I have. Because pain
shouldn't have to be something that becomes normal for anyone.
Physically or mentally. Do with my gifts what you will after I
help you, but I am not asking for anything in return. And if I
do break that promise... Then you can have anyone here rebuke
me.

Max: I don’t think Jeb is stupid enough to give chase. At least
not anytime soon. He always had people do that kind of thing for
him and he lacks the resources.
Angel stares at him silently for awhile considering his words.
She glances at their joined hands before she drops it and with a
wholly childlike innocence pushes forward for a hug. Almost
comfortingly as she pushes into him for a hug a pair of dove
like wings about 8 feet in width curl around him too. Angel: I’m
sorry they hurt you like me and I’m sorry I can’t take that pain
away like you.

Theodore: Then again, it was odd that there were no enforcers or
any kind of guard of sorts trying to fight us when we came for
Max and Angel. I mean, if they were sick enough to use children
as guinea pigs, they would probably use something or someone
like one of our kind (hybrids like nephilim or demigods) as
muscle or something.
Elias: Hence why we should keep an eye out. turns to Theo I want
you and Terros to make sure that no one followed us like Lord
Kindron said. I don't doubt Max's words but we cannot take any
chances like he said.
Theodore: On it! C'mon, Terros!
Terros only makes a small grunt in agreement before he leaves
the room with Theodore. The rest of the demigods noticed Angel's
wings sprouting after hugging Omega but doesn't make a big deal
out of it. Well, the guys anyway. Hana couldn't help but form a
small smile.
