RP Story: A Long War

(Story: A Long War)
It was a standard day in the war against Hyperion, and Black Sun
was fighting as they usually did. This time, it was Kendrix
cutting through Hyperion robots until he had reached Adam
Taurus, and the two met in battle as they typically did. Kendrix
and Adam had fought plenty of times by now, and this was no
different. Kendrix's sister, Kendra, was back at base, mostly
because Kendrix didn't want her exploding and taking out their
forces when she went crazy, as she often tended to do when
fighting. Kendrix was doing fairly well, and fought evenly with
Adam as was usual for them ever since Adam had gotten a special
plasmite to counter most of Kendrix's shadow abilities. Adam and
Kendrix were both also equally good swordsman, and neither
seemed to have an advantage on the other in terms of abilities
at the moment since both new how to counter each other's
abilities. As much as Adam could damage Kendrix with his
semblance, Kendrix often just regenerated the damage from the
shadows around him. Meanwhile, in the background, the droids of
Hyperion were fighting the Anubis soldiers and the guardians of
Black Sun.
Kendrix: So... It seems we're going to have to call this fight a
draw. Again...
From the sidelines, two new people arrived. One was a Lin Kuei
assassin female cyborg, and the other appeared to be a shadow
creature in the form of a wraith. The two were Frost and Noob
Saibot, two lesser known members of Anubis's forces
Frost: Nope. Not this time. She says as she activates her
connection that was given to her by Towa to Anubis's soldiers. A
group of cyborgs that were Lin Kuei cybernetic warriors and a
group of shadow spirit familiars from the Brotherhood of Shadow
appear, attacking the Black Sun and Hyperion forces, making it a
three way battle.
Kendrix: Who the hell are you two?
Adam: Who cares... He says as he goes and attacks Noob Saibot,
who blocks his attack with a small sickle weapon he pulls out of
the shadow.
Noob Saibot: You should care... We serve Anubis. And he had sent
us to finish you! He says as he attacks Adam, knocking him back.
When Adam tries to hit Noob Saibot with a darkness attack, Noob
just absorbs it. When Kendrix tries to blast him with crimson
flames, the flames are countered by Frost, who uses her
cryomancy to counter the flames.
Frost: You're not gonna fair much better. Your forces are
crippled. She says as she gets ready to attack.
Confused, Kendrix looked back at his forces, realizing that the
Anubis soldiers in his forces had turned on the Guardians that
were under Kendrix's control, and the Anubis soldiers seemed to
no longer be responding to the commands. Suddenly he understood,
as the Anubis Soldiers started working with the Cyber Lin Kuei
that Frost had summoned when she used her connection to call her
forces.
Kendrix: So... It seems I have no choice... We knew that Anubis
would override them eventually. He turns back to Frost. So... Is
Anubis back at full strength yet?
Frost: Not yet... But he should be soon enough. Until then,
we're gonna fight you. She says as she attacks.
Mentally, Kendrix calls on Fu back at Black Sun base. Kendrix:
Fu... It's time. Release the Hunters. I want to test them more,
but we're backed into a corner here.
Fu: Well... If you say so. I can't wait to see what these things
can do! Omega is confident they'll do the job! He says
cheerfully as he hits a button on his console back at base that
activated their new weapon
What should have been a losing battle for Black Sun as Hyperion
and Anubis's forces quickly turns into a mess as all three
groups were fighting each other. While Black Sun was quickly
getting overwhelmed, new forces appear as capsules seem to be
fired out of portals and release new machine creatures onto the
battlefield. The creatures seem to split, being a machine and
some sort of black goo that separates into a separate creature.
After each one separates into two creatures, the "Hunters," as
Kendrix called them, start attacking the Anubis soldiers and the
start taking out their enemies as they join in the battle to
help the guardians that hadn't been destroyed. In addition, new
robots also seem to appear, which were much stronger robots
termed the "Colossi" (plural for colossus), that seemed to be
massively updated versions of the guardians that walk out of
portals and start gunning down the enemies, blasting opponents
with railguns firing piercing energy bullets that seemed to
pierce the armor of the other robots as the guns fire blasts of
what appears to be plasma energy.
Adam: Holy crap... What the hell are those things?! He says as
he sees the Hunters and the Colossi.
Frost: Damn... That was supposed to cripple Black Sun! They have
more forces?! She says angrily.
Noob Saibot: It was to be expected that they developed other
forces. Anubis said Kindron would anticipate him using the
Anubis soldiers against them. I'm more surprised they didn't use
them sooner. He says to Frost.
Kendrix: Thank our resident scientist, Omega... He made them
himself. They're strong enough to replace the entirety of our
forces if we need to replace them... We were planning on
replacing the Guardians as well. He says as he gets ready.
Soon, Kendra appears next to Kendrix. Kendra: I'm jumping in
too! She says with a smile as she gets ready with her own
weapons.
Kendrix: What?! Why? You're supposed to stay at the base! He
says to Kendra.
Kendra: Kindron said I could. He told me I'm free to blow them
all up! She says cheerfully.\
Kendrix: Don't blow up OUR forces okay?! He says angrily,
knowing it was a bad idea.
From next to Adam, Vaati appears. Vaati: Sounds like you're in a
pickle. He says with a smile. Luckily I'm here to help to even
the odds. Two vs Two vs Two. He says to the group.
However, soon another voice can be heard. Actually, you're
forgetting two. The voice says as a new set of forces descend
from above. These appeared to be holy knight clones, which were
used recently in Olympus, and the group recognized them
instantly.
Kendrix: Damn... Now Zeus is involved?!
The lead knight, an adult blond human lands who was different
from the clones that had appeared, and next to him was what
appeared to be a holy powered werepyre, wearing a black church
garmet that made him look like a priest. Knight: That's right.
We are the leaders of Zeus and Michael's forces! We are the Zeus
Knights! He says as the knights start attacking with holy
lightning, blasting the robots. Most of the knights were clones,
but there were also armored knights that were basically just
animed armors who were animated using holy armors. Both seemed
to have lightning powers as they attack.
Adam: So who the hell are you people?! He says to the two
warriors who now stood before them.
Werepyre: Apologies. I am Joriel Resnick, disciple of Lord
Michael and leader of the church. My friend here is holy knight
for Zeus, Reiner Williard. Joriel says, introducing himself.
Reiner: You won't care for long, don't worry. He says as he
smiles and takes out his sword which glows with holy lightning.
Kendrix: Reiner... Williard? Wait... I think I remember that
name... Kindron said your one of his father's minions. He says
as he readies his swords.
Reiner: I'm not just a minion! I'm his best holy knight, you
disrespectful little rat! He says angrily to Kendrix.
Joriel just sighs as he looks to Kendrix. Joriel: My friend is
annoying... I apologize for his disrespect. He starts flashing
with holy light. However... We have our orders to kill you.
Nothing personal.
Frost: These people are full of themselves...
Noob: I like the werepyre... He's humble. I can respect a
warrior like that.
Kendrix; Funny... I was gonna say something similar. He says to
Noob Saibot. He then looks to Reiner. Can't say I like that one
though... He's a real a*shole. He says.
Kendra: Well... Let's start this fight! She says cheerfully as
she charges in, to which everyone else charges in as well, with
all eight warriors attacking each other. While each knew who
their ally was, aside from that, they were attacking anyone
else, and the battle appeared to had escalted to the point where
everyone was attacking each other.
Meanwhile, in the background, what started as a simple battle
between Black Sun and Hyperion had escalated with both Anubis
forces and Zeus's forces having now gotten involved.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Raiden Kindron looks to Fu as he watches
the battle on Fu's monitor alongside him and Omega. Raiden
Kindron: My father and Anubis must have been watching the other
waiting for the other to make a move before getting involved.
They've been planning this for a while it seems.
Fu: Things sure did get interesting though! Anubis's cyborgs and
those shadow creatures?! I didn't know the Brotherhood of Shadow
and the cyber Lin Kuei were still around. I thought they died
with Shinnok in our world. He says, while scratching his head.
But Noob Saibot was one of Shinnok's creations, so maybe they're
following him now? And it's obvious Frost is working for
Anubis... I always knew she'd betray the Lin Kuei someday.
Omega: So... it appears. He says as he watches. Chaos... He
says, spectating on the fight and how far it had gotten out of
hand.
Fu: That's not the worst of it... These forces appeared at every
one of our battle grounds... All our forces are now being
attacked by these clones and holy armors on one side, and the
shadow spirits and Lin Kuei cyborgs on the other. What should be
a contained battlefield has turned into complete madness...
Entire cities are going to be leveled at this level of combat.
We saved the forces being destroyed by deploying the hunters,
but now I'm starting to wonder if we should send out our other
secret weapon... I just want to see that Shadow Devil in action!
He says with a smile.
Omega: Not... Yet... Not... Ready... He says to Fu.
Raiden Kindron: Yes... I agree. If we keep it in reserve it
better be able to handle itself.
Fu: Most of the guardians are gone though... That's kind of sad.
Raiden Kindron: They were disposable... The Colossi are far more
effective and much stronger. They were a brilliant idea. He
says, aiming the last part towards Omega since the Hunters and
Colossi were his idea and design. Omega just nods to Raiden
Kindron.
Meanwhile, in another part of the world, another person is
watching the action from his chair. Using his power as a dark
voodoo god, Evan Quindell, also known as Ebon the Snake, watches
the conflict, and specifically watches the eight warriors fight
as the armies fight in the background.
Evan: Oh dear... It seems da war has escalated... This doesn't
bode well. He says as he starts pulling cards. It seems we might
avoid da world war against da other world... But our own world's
war might escalate to new levels as a result of us not unitin'
against dat other world. It's happening faster den I predicted
it would. He says with a sigh.
Sebas: What would you like us to do, Master Evan? He says to
Evan, standing next to him alongside Demiurge, another of Evan's
servants.
Evan: Nothing for now, my friends... We don't have da manpower
to compete with da other forces... We'll just wait and pick up
da pieces of any forces that go down completely... Maybe we can
make use of some of the warriors who don't survive dis war. He
says with a smile as he starts drawing cards. Da Brotherhood of
Shadows... I think I can rebuild dere little group... Maybe I
can snake dem away from Anubis... When da time is right.
Demiuge: So we wait and let them kill each other... Then we pick
up the pieces of the organizations and use them to build our own
global organization. That's the plan right?
Evan smiles. Evan: Dat indeed is da plan, dear Demiurge... We
shall be da final victors in dat little war once da others have
done our work for us, and we have recruited everyone we can get
our hands on.
Demiurge: How will you pick up the pieces before the other
groups do? We'll have to be smart in order to stay secret. He
says to Evan.
Evan: Dat's da real trick, aint it? We will be patient, and play
da scavenger when we get da chance... I have a few... ideas. And
I could make a deal with Phantom ta get more dark spirits if I
need dem. He says as he watches the action.
No one knows what the future holds, but one thing is certain,
what started as a major war has now esclatated as two forces now
join the battle. It isn't known who will win, but the
destruction will soon reach a new level as the forces tear apart
regions countries in battle.
