       Story: Hei's Expansion
Theme: First Let's Gather Information (
  HTML https://youtu.be/2Bg3XviUtsQ
       )
It was another day for Hei Darkfire in London. He had been back
in London after taking a trip to an undisclosed place (at least
to the general people). Hei had been back in London for about a
month, and opted to go to his office. He was walking through
town, his mask in his jacket, rather than wearing it on his
face, since he was trying not to stand out. He had no weapons
out, and just looked like a normal person walking through town.
Despite how the weather was warm and Hei looked out of place
wearing a black jacket, Hei seemed to blend in well, enough that
some people were even running into him without noticing him.
Ever since his training, it seemed like his assassin skills of
blending into crowds was now at an almost master level as his
newest training had advanced his assassin skills even further
       than his Darkfire training.
       Begin Flashback
"You have one flaw... You embrace the darkness only when it's
convenient, but you think of it as a tool rather than seeing
it's true power... As long as you do that, you will never reach
       your full potential."
Those were the final words of Ra's al Ghul before Hei cut him
       down.
After some information he'd gotten while in the United States,
and a new ally he'd made there, Hei had gotten information that
the League of Assassins wasn't as dead as he thought it was, and
opted to go to their home base, Nanda Parbat, to gain them as
allies, due to them having assassins worldwide and being a large
       organization.
However, things didn't go as Hei had planned, as he had to fight
Ra's al Ghul and defeat him before Hei could gain the support of
the group, as Ra's said that only someone who could best him in
combat would be allowed to order his organization around.
The battle had been long and hard, much more difficult than Hei
was expecting (and Hei was expecting a difficult fight). Hei had
only won by being a better tactician, as Ra's had almost
overpowered and outmanuevered him in combat. It was a very
difficult fight, but Hei's strategy to win had managed to win.
As Hei had killed Ra's, Ra's daughter, Nyssa, came up to Hei as
Hei got up. Nyssa just glares at Hei as he looked back at her.
Nyssa: You are the new leader, Sadat Alsawda (Black Reaper) Al
Ghul . For now... She says, clearly harboring a grudge against
       Hei for killing her father.
Hei: You don't like me being charge. He says simply, as he looks
over to Nyssa, slowly getting his strength back.
Nyssa: I was the heir to the demon... And now you've stolen that
from me. She says bitterly toward Hei. I will follow you, but
only until I am strong enough to kill you.
Hei: Then you're probably gonna really hate me when you find out
who talked me into this talk with you guys... He says with a
sigh, knowing that his secret contact was not someone liked by
       the League.
Nyssa: Before you can take the lead, you must be trained in the
ways of the League. You are an outsider, and have no business
taking over our organization. Even though it looked like she was
going to attack, she hands Hei a potion to help speed up his
recovery, which made Hei flinch and get ready to attack before
he realized what it was. Don't worry, Sadat Alsawda... I will
not kill you yet. I can only retake my position after you have
been fully trained and have taken the head of the League...
Until then, I will make sure no one else shall get in my way. I
will be the one to kill you, and it will be on my terms.
Hei: Fine. I take it we start immediately then. He says as he
finds a spot to sit down.
Nyssa: Yes. You have much training to do. There is a slow way
and a fast way... It is up to you.
Hei: Fast way. I don't have time to spend here for too long. He
       says simply.
Nyssa: Few survive that method... But if you're confident... She
       says to Hei.
       End Flashback
When he arrived in his office, he takes off his mask and puts it
on the table, and hangs his jacket up on the coat rack as he
       goes to sit down.
Hei: I take it things are going well. He says as he looks to the
shadows in the corner of the room, as one of his new
subordinates comes out of the shadows with a small group of what
appeared to be assassins. Not many could detect this group while
they were trying to stay hidden, but thanks to Hei's recent
training and his Darkfire assassin training, Hei was one of the
few that wasn't easily fooled by people trying to hide from him.
The man in front, the leader of the group was a man named
Malcolm Merlyn, who Hei had met in the US during his trip there
to try and get criminal groups to ally with him. Using Malcolm's
connections, Hei and Malcolm had come up with their own plan to
get the crime groups under control, especially after Hei had
reinstated Malcolm as a high level commander of the League of
       Assasins.
Malcolm smiles a bit in confidence. Malcolm: I told you it would
be easy. We have most of the eastern coast of the US and South
America, including New York and DC. We even took over some of
the South American drug and slavery cartels. We ran into some
resistance, but it's being dealt with pretty easily. And with
Alice Rynn and Kendrix Darkfire restructuring Sabbat groups in
other cities, we're ahead of schedule.
Hei: Good. The sooner we get our influence spread further, the
sooner we can handle the problems here in London more easily.
Malcolm walks up to Hei's desk as Hei turns to face him.
Malcolm: The plan will work. As long as Nightshade and the other
criminal groups don't catch on to what we're doing.
Hei: I wouldn't underestimate them. They're going to catch on
sooner than you think... In fact, I'd be surprised if Phantom or
Zenrael hasn't already caught on to our plan, and possibly the
       other criminal groups as well.
Malcolm: It's been hard... Trying to avoid Phantom. He has been
an issue. His influence in the crime syndicates is more
       extensive than we realized.
Hei: Then we'll have to expand further. Kendrix is working on
helping other Sabbat groups restructure, and combining the
League of Assassins with my own organization is going to help us
       tremendously.
Malcolm: What about Japan? Should we start reorganizing them
       now?
Hei: Let me handle Japan. The Darkfires and Hazeldines are both
based there. They already rule most of it, and getting them on
my side won't be that hard. The hard part is trying to make sure
other groups don't stop us. Not every Sabbat group is biting on
our offers and goals... And some Camarilla sects are opting to
try and stop us from gaining footholds in certain areas. But let
Alice and Kendrix worry about that. Just focus on our goals and
making sure the groups do as they're told. He says to Malcolm.
Malcolm: I understand. He says as he bows politely and then
leaves the room with his small group of assassins. Before
walking out the door though, he stops and throws a knife at Hei,
who catches it easily as though he was expecting it. I figured
being home would mean your guard would be down... I should have
known it wouldn't be that easy. He says with a smile.
Hei: Just because I took my jacket and mask off doesn't mean I
let my guard down... I have to be on guard all the time thanks
to people like Nyssa wanting my head. He says to Malcolm. Even
though Malcolm had been working for Hei, Malcolm and Hei had
almost become rival assassins, and the two often tested each
other to make sure the other wasn't getting soft.
Malcolm: So it appears. He says simply. Though I don't
understand why you don't kill her and me if we're constantly
trying to kill you. It would be logical.
Hei throws the knife back to Malcolm, who catches it and puts it
away. Hei: I like the competition. It keeps me improving and
keeps me from getting too relaxed.
Malcolm: I forgot to ask... Did you come up with a new name for
       the organization?
Hei: Yes. I'm going with "The Ghosts of Legion." Or just The
Ghosts. You can pass that along to the others if you want. Now
that the organization is finally taking off, we need a name to
rally behind. If they ask why I changed it, The Revenants
doesn't have the right ring to it that this new name does. But
the combination of our organizations will still be "The
       Syndicate" as planned.
Malcolm smiles. Malcolm: I like it. I always wanted to say "We
are Legion." He says jokingly. Well... I guess I'd better go
then. He says before leaving with his group.
After Malcolm leaves, Hei turns and looks out his window. He
looks up and notices storm clouds in the sky.
Hei: There's gonna be a storm soon... He says to himself.
       End.
