Person: Well, we can show you around, but as you might know, we
can't show certain projects which are secret. They say to the
group.
Dufort uses his answer-talker ability and his psychic abilities
to avoid most of the guards, making sure he doesn't accidentally
lose Vivian. Dufort: Times like this, I'm actually glad I'm
better than everyone else when it comes to psychic abilities.

Chelsea: That's alright. We're ready when you are.
Vivian: Must be really cool to have mind powers.
Vivian said that more to herself than to Dufort as she continues
to follow him. Vivian use her mutant abilities to avoid guards,
though it's not much compare to Dufort psychic abilities.

The assistant nods and starts showing them around.
Dufort: Actually it sucks... It's like living in a stadium full
of people all the time when you can hear everyone's thoughts.
And no resentment or hate for being different is hidden from
you. And that's just the reading people's minds. People hated me
for all of my psychic power even among other psychics. He says
as he makes his way through the hall as he continues to guide
Vivian through the area.

Chelsea and the others start following the assistant.
Vivian: Jeez. I can barely tolerate being close to a large group
of people. I would've gone insane for just listening to the
thoughts of my crazy friends. Which kind of makes me wonder how
you tolerate Chelsea at times She says the last part jokingly

The assistant shows them around, starting with showing them
their research division. While they couldn't see the actual
projects, they would see the people who were working on coming
up with ideas, with a lot of them being pharmaceutical based.
Dufort: I tend to respect people who don't try to hide their
thoughts from me. With people like my cousin, I'm used to
smartasses, the only thing I care about is how much they try to
hide... And most of Chelsea's past is something I can see why
she'd not want to bring it up.

Shade casually start taking photos of the tour with his phone
with the flash normally off due to many reasons. As he does
this, he also sends the photos to his laptop so he can start
researching them. Even if it's not much, a little bit of
something helps.
Vivian: Yeah, it took her and Jack a while to open up a little
to me, partly because my mother's a MI-6 agent. Lucia was the
hardest one to open up. Despite that, I don't go into people's
personal life and mind my own business unless I have a very good
reason for it.

Since they weren't really being shown anything private or
incriminating, there wouldn't be much to go on, other than some
of the medicines they were researching and how they affected
humans, with some even trying to figure out how to apply the
research to solve major diseases. Despite the sinister purpose
the group was expecting, the current showing of research seemed
more like the company was trying to help the public than trying
to do anything else. Of course, the criminal activities are
something that they wouldn't show to people.
Dufort: Everybody tries to get me to open up... But I don't do
the whole emotional attachment thing well. Every time I've tried
to be friendly, people end up hating me when they find out how I
really feel about them. So I gave up trying to be friends with
people a long time ago. He says before using his psychic power
to open a door for them that was locked.

Shade text Dufort to see if he and Vivian got anything since
they can't snoop around too much without making a scene. Wanting
to at least try something, Lucia speaks up.
Lucia: Excuse me, is there a ladies room around here?
Vivian: At least you have a solid reason why you're anti social.
Vivian said her thanks to Dufort for opening the door before
going through it.

Assistant: Fine. We can hold up and wait till you get back. He
says to Lucia.
Dufort: Most people just call me an asshole and move on. He says
with a shrug. Dufort uses his tech control to suppress the ring
tone and read the data rather than pull out his phone. A text?
Really? You guys do know that phone signals can be intercepted
right? That was the point of using telepathy. He says more to
himself after getting Shade's text. As he goes into a room, he
goes over to a computer and tries to access it using a
combination of his hacking abilities and his tech control power.
