She jumps ever so slightly at his unexpected arrival before she
looks at him. Muriel: I wouldn’t say depressed. I just have a
lot on my mind. I think even i’m becoming stressed.

Nightbane: Yeah, I agree. It is nice to relax now and then.
Gabriel: We're all stressed. But there's not much you can do
about the stress right now. All you can do is let it go for a
little while. That's the point of this place. Or at least, one
of the points of this place.

Muriel: I know that’s why I came. Well that and She makes a nod
towards Vanessa figured I could come support her in my free
time. I’m glad she’s managed to find something she likes to do
and has stuck with it in all of this. My other two...well
they’re more wrapped up in this than I expected. It worries me.
I’m terrified I’m going to lose them, but I suppose that’s a
topic for another time. She takes another sip. What have you
been up to?

Nightbane: Oh you know... Just trying to perfect some new
techniques. I actually got asked by the ice teacher at that
exorcist school to help train some ice users... So that was fun.
Groot: I am Groot. I learned to make tea leaves with plant
power. He says proudly. Since Groot was still a child, he was
still learning to use his power, so his control of plants wasn't
all that strong yet.
Gabriel: I've been training Celeste as best I can. Now that
Sariel's not in control of Heaven, the angels aren't hunting her
down anymore, so that's good. Other than that, I've been trying
to keep an eye on things with some of the other people fighting
the threats out there. Things don't sound like they're going
well. Michael and Zeus are throwing down with Black Sun and
Hyperion, and now that other Anubis has also jumped in, so the
wars in the middle east are getting even crazier. And
apparently, the guy behind the nephalem rebellion against Sariel
long ago is still running around even though he was supposed to
be dead, but who stays dead anymore? He says the last part
jokingly.

V: Looks like everyone is learning new things today. First
Voltan and Haru and now you. looks to Groot Maybe you can make
me a cup one day, Groot.
Once the song ended, the audience gave their round of applause.
V was one of the people clapping for a minute but not as loud as
the others. Vanessa smile and said a quick thank you before
leaving the stage. The announcer from earlier comes back on
stage.
Announcer: Give it up for our songbird, Vanessa Van Helsing. Now
then, we're going to take a break before the next event so don't
go anywhere.
With that, the announcer leaves and the band starts playing some
light jazz music.

She chuckles lightly at that. Muriel: Well someone’s been
productive and for once not in a way that involves making chaos
out of your little hunter friends lives. Mm did I tell you that
your niece befriended a dragon and bound herself to a demon
sword. I swear she gets her impulse control from having you as
her..what do humans call them..a godparent? Didn’t even think it
all the way through first or ask what anyone else thought. She
just did it.

Nightbane: Well, the ice teacher and I have been training
together on and off for a while. He helps me perfect my ice
techniques at times, and in exchange I teach him what I learn
about ice that he doesn't know.
Gabriel: I always assumed it was because she was half Crowley.
He says jokingly. Thinking too much just causes a headache.
Sometimes you just have to act when the time comes. I'm not
saying we should all be stupid, but sometimes it's good to not
overthink a good thing. He chuckles a little bit. I always
wanted a pet dragon... Or something big and scary that would be
like a pet. It would be funny to scare some bad guys or
something.

V: Zeke and Camira has been helping me as well. I've been kind
of struggling with the chemistry part of the wind abilities but
she did help me how to use my wind powers for better offensive
purposes.

Muriel: Of course you want a dragon. I can’t even pretend to be
surprised. She looks back towards Nightbane and Groot where her
attention had been before Gabriel joined her. Tell me Gabe, what
do you know about the little tree fellow. I’ve never seen
anything quite like him before.
