Turk is the first to stand up, but that's mostly because he
knows that Atlantica will push his butt out of the way on the
floor. He then reaches into the booth seat behind their table
and grabs his backpack. Turk: You'd think it was horse sh*t,
but all three of us have had experience with the Splugorth and
their minions to know it's not.
Atlantica gets up next as Turk gets out of the way and then
grabs her backpack as well. Excitement about getting on
Raven's ship and getting out to sea is obvious in her face
and personal vibes. Atlantica: And we know that they'll join
forces through treaties with the most powerful evil forces on
your world like they have on other worlds.
Titus gathers what gold and gems fell out of the bag back in and
then closes it. He then slides the bag to Raven and rolls up
their nautical map. Titus: My clan may make deals with demons
from time to time, but we pride ourselves in honesty and giving
our word. What we say is no camel sh*t. You have my word on
that. So many thanks to you and may your gods bless you.

Raven couldn't help but roll her eyes about these Splugorth
aliens having powerful allies.
Raven: Some of the creatures here are too egotistical to let
that happen but a couple of corrupted politicians like the World
Government might be slimy enough to do so. Keyword is might.
Still, this really sounds like something that I need to inform
my cousins on. They're more well equipped for this than I am.
I'm more of the neutral party who already have enough crap going
on.
Raven then mentally face palm herself when Titus gave her the
money that she was going to leave behind and forget. She
gratefully takes the money and form a sheepish yet thankful
smile to Titus. 90% of the Olympians are dead and the ones that
are alive are either unknown or who knows where. Well, she at
least have her Nordic deities that are basically her in laws so
it counts in a way.
Raven: Don't thank me yet. I still got to get you three there in
one piece.

Titus bows a bit to Raven. Titus: Very well, but a debt of
thanks is offered just for agreeing to take us, Captain. Titus
then walks over and grabs his bag up from the booth. He reaches
inside a small pocket on it as he walks over to the bar, pulls
out three raw cut rubies, and places them on the bar. Titus: I
thank you both for your hospitality.
The bartendress gives Titus a big smile as she picks up the
rubies. Bartendress: Not a problem, luvy. Make sure to come back
and see us. Titus gives them a bow and then returns to the
others.
Turk slings his bag over his shoulders. Turk: Well the big guy
has settled up the tab so we're definitely ready to go.
Atlantica walks by everyone while sling her pack over her
shoulder and walks out the door. She really didn't need much
more of clue that it was time to leave. Turk: Well, that means
that Atlantica is definitely ready.

Raven nod to Titus before turning to the bartenderess.
Raven: My money and tip are on the table. See you soon, my dear.
Raven makes a charming smile before turning to the group. Once
she notice that the trio are ready, she motion the three to
follow her as she makes her way out of the building, prepared
for possibly another crazy adventure for her to tell the folks
back at Tortuga when she gets the chance.

Titus and Turk follow Raven out the door with Turk making sure
to wave to the bartendress and waitress on the way out the door.
Atlantica, who was already waiting outside with a smile, falls
in with Titus and Turk as they follow Raven to her ship. All
three are happy but Atlantica's excitement is the most obvious
as she almost skips behind Raven. Atlantica: So what kind of
ship do you sail, Captain Raven? Old fashion wooden like a cog
or a schooner? Or something more modern, metal, and engine
powered? Even though Atlantica suspects that Raven is a pirate,
she's far more interested in learning more about Raven's ship.
The curiosity isn't just because she lives on an Earth covered
in mostly water but also because she could really use the
exercise swimming and needs to make sure that she can keep up
with the ship.
Turk figures out quickly where Atlantica's questioning is
leading and refrains from laughing. Instead though he speaks to
Titus in a low tone of voice. Turk: Sounds like Atlantica is
sizing up for a good swim while we sail.
Titus: Can she swim fairly fast?
Turk: She's as fast as a dolphin and even more graceful in the
water. He says with a bit of a grin. Turk: Can't blame her for
needing a good stretch though considering her people's nature.
Titus: But what of predators? He actually reveals true curiosity
in this question as he had yet to see exactly how suited for the
water Atlantica and her people are designed.
Turk: I've seen her take on a megalodon and end up riding it so
I think she can handle a little great white or two.

Raven: smiles a bit A bit of both actually. It was old fashioned
a few centuries ago. But thanks to a few blacksmith pals that
are a part of my crew, they manage to make the ship more durable
and fire powered. My ship is The Black Pearl and she is one of
my greatest treasures.

Atlantica gets a bigger smile as she listens while walking.
Atlantica: I've heard of the Black Pearl on Titus and Turk's
world. They say that she was the fastest there and captained by
a man named Jack Sparrow. It should be interesting to see yours.
Atlantica then begins to fumble with her illusion necklace a
bit. Atlantica: Captain Sparrow, is it possible to keep the
Black Pearl at 32 knots speed once we get out of harbor?
Turk and Titus stay quiet for a bit as they follow Raven.

Atlantica: Good. That will be a good exercise swimming speed for
me. She smiles more as the harbor gets closer. Atlantica can
hear the sounds of fishermen going about their day selling that
morning's catch. Atlantica: Now that's music to my ears. I can't
wait to get off dry land. I really don't understand why
drylanders like it so much.
That makes Turk snicker a bit as he understands why so many homo
sapiens like dry land. He also has come to understand icthyo
sapeins preferred the water. It's all in evolution.
Titus doesn't understand why Turk snickers but remains quiet.
He's learned that some times it's best to let the smartarses get
themselves in trouble so he walks in silence and listens to the
sounds of the harbor.

Raven: chuckles a bit Well, I can't say much on that one. But at
least wait before we're off to the open sea. Last thing we need
is to spook or surprise anyone around the docks.
Knowing that she and the others are close to the docks, Raven
starts picking up her pace. After a few quick turns and a long
walk down to her left, she begin approaching her ship which is
The Black Pearl.
Raven: Here she is, all in her glory.
