Juniper, a lovely brunette cupid slipped into her seat at one of
the tables. She had a bright smile on her face and an unusual
happy aura to her. Odd in a way compared to her normal all
business vibe that she gave off most days. It was the first time
she had personally called together a family wide get together
leaving invitations open to friends of the family as well..it
was about time that they did something nice amidst all the
chaos.
The first person to slip into a seat at the table with her was
Mark’s wife A’ishah. She too had a small smile resting on her
face. Her gaze meets Juniper’s across the table. A’ishah: Two
things. One, you’re in an awfully perky mood. Two, Muriel said
to tell you she would be slightly later than planned. Apparently
trying to get a baby ready to go anywhere is a process, and she
forgot it wasn’t so easy after not having one for so long.
Juniper: And that is why I don’t have children. As for my mood
well it’s hard to be ill when you’re having a relaxing evening
for once.
The Djinn nodded in response to her mood before smirking with a
raised eyebrow. A’ishah: As if that’s the only reason you don’t
have children.
Juniper: As if you can really talk honey.

((Sorry, Cat. I made a fuck up and I was gonna do a plot thing
but my tablet made an ass move when I tried to attach pics and
it failed miserably.))
Ansem the Wise walk into the pub with Mark, Matthew and John.
John's clothes were singed but otherwise, he seem unharmed
despite the smoke lightly coming off from his body. The four men
and the old man notice the two women and walk over to where they
are. Mark kiss A'ishah on the cheek as a hello whole Matt hug
and kiss Juniper. John simply wave hello to the two women.
Matt: Hey, sorry for the small delay. Got in it with a nasty and
drunk ifrit.
John: Don't ask for the details.
Mark: Oh uh, ladies, this old blonde guy is our grandfather,
Ansem Van Helsing, also known as Ansem the Wise.
Ansem: It's a pleasure to meet you both, ladies.

The girls both return their respective greetings from their
partner before turning to Ansem. Juniper: It’s a pleasure and a
delight to meet you as well Mister Van Helsing.
A’ishah: Likewise Ansem. Always a pleasure to meet family. She
turns her gaze to John. It’s unusually icy for a woman that runs
as hot as she does attitude wise. The look is similar to one
Mark gets when he’s in the marriage dog house I’m disappointed
John. I know i’ve taught your clown behind to take one of those
nasty creatures when they’re sober without a scratch and yet you
let this one get to you. The drunken one. Really? How could you
do me that way?

John: Hey, the sh*thead possessed a random bloke, got wasted and
got handsy with a woman. I decided to be a gentleman and well,
this happened to me. Cut me a little slack,
Ansem: It wasn't all bad for you, Johnathan. You did defeat the
jinn like a professional and with minimal damage. You also help
out that poor woman who was being harassed and was almost burned
alive.
Matt: Other than minor burns and some trauma, the lady is
alright.
As this goes on, Luke walks into the pub while holding the door
for Muriel so she can walk in first.
Matt: sees Luke and Muriel Ah, look who it is! The man of the
hour and the other angelic being who promised not to smite me on
sight.

A’ishah: Fine John. I’ll let off this once for being a charming
gentleman and saving a damsel in distress. Still disappointed
that you allowed it to injure you though when i’ve seen you come
out scratch free against a sober one.
Muriel steps inside with a quiet thank you to Luke for holding
the door. She takes his hand once they’re both inside and walks
towards the table. Muriel: Still debating on keeping that
promise some days Matt.
Juniper: And they come baby free too.
Muriel: Ness asked to take her for the evening. Something about
sisterly bonding though with the rest of my adoptive children
tagging along in that endeavor..i’m thinking I should have just
brought her. She might’ve been safer with John or Matt and
that’s saying something. Father knows what I’ll come home to.

John just exhale through his nose and decide not to talk about
it, which is shown when Luke notice the smoke and the signed
clothes, making the third born keep his mouth shut. Luke let the
door close behind him and let Muriel take his hand for the night
since this is suppose to be a lovely evening. He walks up to the
others and greet his family and his in laws. Matt laugh off the
smite joke as another family joke.
Matt: Her little band friends, right? You sure it's that bad?
Luke: Well, as long as the crazy tall one isn't left alone with
Cress, things should be fine. Especially since the ones with the
glasses seem the most responsible.
John: Gramps, this is Muriel. The other decent angel who doesn't
have a stick up the ass but got screwed over by life. Muri, this
is one of the living fossils of our family but more chill,
Ansem.
Ansem: Pleasure to meet you.

Muriel: Thank you for the introduction John. Now Ansem...where
have I heard that name before...aside from the boys...She thinks
silently for a moment almost letting the “ah Emilia” slip but
backtracks before it does. Well I can’t think of it right now,
but regardless it’s lovely to finally meet you. I’m sorry it
couldn’t have been sooner. She slips her hand from Luke’s as she
takes a seat. There’s a definite tension between the two, but
not as heavy as usual tonight. The comment to Matt was most
definitely meant as a family joke and not a real threat.
A’ishah: Well my lovely compatriots with introductions all out
of the way..how about a drink? Or two? Maybe three.

Juniper: You like anything that’s tall, dark, blonde, and buys
you drinks.
A’ishah: Not true.
Muriel: Right... She just throws a side glance towards Mark.
This banter between the three was generally common when they
were together Lie again sweetie.
