Kenya: The Visions of Mti wa Uzima
By: Raven Tepes Date: May 17, 2020, 3:14 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
(RP is for CoolCat as Vendetta and her allies that she may have
join.)
The sun had risen on another beautiful Kenya day in the Vally of
Uzima, but many of the adult members of the Village of Uzima and
those that live within Mti wa Uzima were all faking happy while
their minds are in turmoil from visions that the ancient
Millennium Tree had been sharing with them. The adults continue
their day as if nothing had been happening so as not to disturb
the village children. Adults tend the fields and daily chores
while children play. Enoch steps out of his humble
hole-in-the-ground home at the base of the roots of Mti wa Uzima
and looks around with a serious yet faint smile. Today is the
day that a special guest is being summoned by Uzima for aid in
what the Millennium Druids are calling the Coming Troubles of
Falling Darkness.
As Enoch walks towards his normal meditation spot, he is greeted
by the village hunters with waves and smiles as they go out to
hunt wart hog and ostrich for the festive meal planned for their
guest. He laughs as children of all races run past him while
chasing the chickens that had gotten loose. The faerie folk fly
this way and that around him and Uzima as he comes to his spot
and takes a seat. Well, old friend. I hope that you are correct
to call Vendetta here. He says to the ancient Millennium Tree as
he sits down on a meditation cushion set up for those who
meditate and talk to Uzima. Uzima washes the emotion of sureness
over Enoch as he sighs a bit of relief as he takes the lotus
position, closes his eyes, and begins meditation.
In Vendetta’s Location:
A Magic Pigeon flies in and lands next to Vendetta. It begins
cooing at her frantically as the feeling of an urgent message
can be felt in the magic spell creatures soft coos.

Vendetta was hanging out in Vowl Kingdom with Voltan and Haru
outside of a local restaurant. Noticing the pigeon next to her
being frantic, V pick up the bird gently and place it next to
her fries in case it wants some.
Voltan: What's up with birdie here?

The Magic Pigeon calms once Vendetta picks it up and places it
down. The pigeon's soft cooing then changes into a gentle
feminine voice. Magic Pigeon: Mti wa Uzima needs meet with you,
Daughter of Zeus. Come to the Valley of Uzima in Kenya quickly.
With that said, the pigeon then fades away in soft blue mystic
energy.

Voltan: blinks Okay, that's pretty weird.
Haru: So the other stuff that has happened to us for the past
years doesn't count as abnormal?
Voltan: Good point. But why the hell is V needed over at Kenya?
V: I'll explain on the way over. If you guys wanna come, then
that's fine.
Voltan: I got nothing to do.
Haru: I think the kingdom will be fine without me. If I'm
needed, my superior will send a message.
V: Then let's go.
The trio was just about done with their food. Once a waitress
came in with the bill, Haru paid for it along with leaving a
tip. After saying their thanks, V summon some clouds for Haru to
hop on so he can catch up with V and Voltan. Once Voltan sprout
wings out of his back, the three half bloods begin to take
flight and start flying out of Vowl Kingdom and head straight to
Kenya. The boys follow V since she knows where to go. It didn't
take them too long for the three to land in the Valley of Uzima.
Once at a certain distance, the three walk to Mti wa Uzima.

Fields and farms stretch for a couple of miles from the village
nestled under the branches of Mti wa Uzima who towers as tall as
a skyscraper. The sounds of villagers hard at work while
children play can be heard though the village appears to be more
of the size of a small city. Children of all races run about as
women tend to setting the village center for a festival while
men prepare wood. Those who see Vendetta, Haru, and Voltan wave
and greet them in Swahili. If one looks close enough, one could
see the mix emotions of relief and anxiety in the eyes of the
adults. Faeries fly every which way around Vendetta, Haru, and
Voltan toget a closer look at them. One young Hawrk-duk, a
duck-billed humanoid, comes up to Vendetta in a hurry with a
friendly, warm smile. He appears to be the age of a young adult
human in their early twenties even with his odd bird-like
humanoid appearance. When he speaks, his words are choppy and
his accent thick with the native Swahili.
Bahku: Hello, Lightning Daughter. I welcome you and friends to
Uzima Village. Bahku gives a small bow of respect. I am Bahku.
Our village high druid been expecting you. Please, follow me.

The trio walk through the village and examine their
surroundings. The three young adults half bloods notice the mix
emotions in the eyes of the adults and honestly, who can blame
them due to the crap going on in both the mortal and
supernatural world where nearly every pantheon spiraled into
chaos or are under the new leadership of d*ckhead. Voltan can
also sense the uneasiness thanks to his blood abilities. Even
the demon Akna and the wolf spirit Chibiabos couldn't help but
to speak up about where they are.
Akna: "This place... I feel easiness and uneasiness in the
atmosphere itself."
Chibiabos: "I do as well. Lady Vendetta is brought here for a
reason. The reason why is what bothers me a little."
The three stopped when the Hawrk-duk, Bahku came up to them.
Although this seem odd, the boys kept their mouths shut and
follow both Bahku and V. Voltan had a feeling that someone might
ask about his eye patch since he is not half mortal like V and
Haru but is mostly distracted by the guy having a duck bill. Is
he an alien or from some pantheon that has creatures like him?
Voltan: Pretty nice village here.

Bahku walks a bit ahead as he leads the V and her two
companions. He hears Voltan's comment about the village and nods
with as much of a smile as Hawrk-duk can. Having been raised in
the village, Bahku doesn't think about explaining his appearance
as he is use to the accepting humans of the village. Bahku: Yes,
it is very nice and peaceful. Even the great lions will do
nothing more than show off their cubs and rub for attention. My
great grandfather says that is why our flock settled here after
the great light brought us here from the Green World of his
hatching last year. A group of children, a mix of human and
Hawrk-duk, run by chasing chickens back towards a nearby chicken
coup. Mti wa Uzima's massive size becomes more pronounced as the
group gets closer, standing as tall as a skyscraper. More people
can be seen walking in and out of a large hole in the base of
the trunk while others walk along massive branches to and from
the living quarter burls. The Mark of Elohei is quite noticeable
above the large entry hole on the trunk. Bahku doesn't lead the
group towards the hole but to the east side of Uzima.

Voltan: Uh... cool.
That was all Voltan can say without sounding offensive. So far,
what the duck kid said along with V's face expression, Voltan
got it down as alien, which is no problem for him. As the trio
got closer, all three of them can sense Uzima along with the
Mark of Elohei. As a earth demigod, Voltan can feel a deep,
strong connection of the Uzima, much more than his buddies. Even
his demon is lost in words.
Voltan: Whoa...
Haru: Incredible...!
V silently urge her friends to keep up so they don't get lost.
The boys snap out of it and keep it moving.
V: We'll see much more soon. Just try not to get lost.
Haru: Roger that. So who are we meeting, Ven?
V: An old friend of mine. You two will like him.

Bahku: You will like Druid Enoch. He is far more friendly than
other druids when it comes to conversation. Bahku says with a
smile in his voice. Uzima surrounds V, Voltan, and Haru in the
feeling of being greeted and welcome as the leaves in her
breaches flutter and whisper though no breeze blows. Bahku's
steps seem to get a bit lighter in the ambient energy of Uzima
as he leads them around towards the Druids' meditation cove.
Uzima's massive trunk enormous size dwarfs that of many city
skyscrapers. Fairies fly by the group as they inspect each
member. Small creatures pop out of hiding spots to give curious
looks as well. Bahku: You three are quite the excitement around
here. No one has seen this much excitement since Uzima brought
the 12 flocks here.

Haru: Well, that's good at least.
Haru said about meeting a friendly druid. The boys couldn't be
at awe of the tree, especially it greeting them. Voltan couldn't
help but form a cocky yet friendly grin at the mention of the
trio being the attraction.
Voltan: Heh. Can't really blame them.
