London Story Arc: Dock Crash

character))
It has been barely a month since the incident at the school.
Everyone has been on edge. No one can even come one meter close
to the school without authorities hounding in and attacking on
sight. There were even rumors of some of the teachers being
sighted there but no one can clarify it, not even with the
technology today. Still, as the president of the drama club,
Lucia Lockwood isn't going to let a group of simple minded
monsters stand in her way. Never again. One night, Lucia had a
Skype chat with the film club president name Charles. Lucia told
Charles her idea of the two clubs working together to make a
movie and put it on the school site so the students and the
staff will be at ease due to harsh times. The film president was
hesitant but he eventually agree to Lucia's ideas and the two
spent a few hours plotting on what play are they filming and how
they're going to pull this off. The next morning, both Lucia and
Charles has a meeting with their members and told them the idea.
Of course, there were concerns and hesitation but Lucia insured
her fellow peers and friends that it'll be fine and that
everyone needs it. Lucia inform the drama club of what play they
are going to do along with sending them the script of it. The
play is about a young woman who was a victim of child
trafficking and has to do whatever it takes to get back home.
After days of the drama club memorizing their lines, Lucia and
Charles set up location spots for their clubs to meet and to
film. The two were very cautious since they didn't want to get
caught by authorities or gang members that will either rat them
out, capture them or worse. Especially with the Salem Witches
and Nightshade members roaming around and taking territory left
and right. They also wanted to avoid places that are haunted or
attract malevolent creatures such as spirits. England has A LOT
of haunted sights and places connected to the supernatural next
to the United States, even before groups like The Order of the
Dragon was formed. If the gang members don't get these kids, a
terrifying, restless spirit will. And no one wants to encounter
a scary and angry spirit. So far for the past few weeks, things
were going well for both clubs due to their coordination,
organization and perfect planning. One night, they went to the
docks in Liverpool to do a ending scene for part one of the
play, where the woman says her goodbyes to the people who helped
her before going on the ship to reunite with her family. The
film club were preparing the stage while the actors of the drama
club prepares themselves for the final scene. Since they didn't
want to be interrupted, Lucia asked a few of the people who work
behind the scenes to be on lookout if they're not busy with
anything. Chelsea brought along the yordles Tristana and Kennen
to keep an extra eye out. The two had been following Chelsea for
the past few nights when they grew suspicious of Chelsea's
activities at night and her being a little seclusive than
normal. Once they found out, they decided to help out Chelsea
for a few nights before calling it quits and dragging the
conduit girl back home. Meanwhile, Lucia was making sure
everything was perfect by walking around and checking on people.
She's also writing stuff on her clipboard as she goes around
like a supervisor.
Lucia: Make sure that the lighting is perfect. Last time, it was
a little too bright. It won't hinder the movie but we're trying
not to make the viewers go blind.
Light Guy: Got it.
Lucia: Sound crew, how are we with the sounds?
Sound Girl: Everything's ready to go. Should be fine as long as
the ships don't come in at the wrong time.
Lucia: The shipping schedule is already sorted out by me and
Charles this morning. That boat over at Section D should not be
arriving until 22:15 so we still have 15 minutes left for
preparations. We'll also go through the music section later on
in our homes, depending on how things go.
The girl nod her head yes and continue to work as Lucia walk
over to the yordles who were speaking with Chelsea before
heading off to their post.
Chelsea: notice Lucia Oh, hey Luci. What's up?
Lucia: Just checking on everyone. Kennen and Tristana got
everything secured?
Chelsea: Yep. They just told me that they saw no ill creature
around here. Kennen saw some small animals and spirits roaming
around but they're just minding their own business. In fact,
some of the spirits came over to see what we were doing so we
probably have a small live audience here. They're not
technically alive but...
Lucia: It's fine. If the ghosts want to watch us, then they can
as long as they don't start anything. Are you ready?
Chelsea: Yeah, I am. Just gonna go over my lines and everything
should be good.
Lucia: I still can't believe that you can be a good actor. It's
kind of hard to visualize you as one.
Chelsea: I was hanging around Toreador vampires even before I
came to this world. One of my trainers from my group is one so
he taught me how to act for things like spy stuff. I'll admit,
playing a main supporting character is a one up from being a
background character.
Lucia: Well, look at it this way. The Toreador clan who are
aligned with your family should be proud of you once they see
this. The theatre might even want you in their big plays if
we're lucky. checks the time on her watch The boat should be
coming soon. We'll be rolling in five minutes. Get ready,
Chelsea.
Chelsea nod and heads off to make sure that she's ready. Lucia
walk over to where Charles is along with the other two actors
who are going to be in the film. One of the star actors is
Vivian, which is even more shocking due to her not liking to be
in public. But Vivian agreed to do it for her peers and to honor
those who had died, especially Kelly Gilligan who was suppose to
be the star actress but met her grisly demise too soon. The
other one is a male student name Mike who was Kelly's boyfriend.
He wasn't looking for anyone to date but appreciate the comfort
from the club and his friends. Once everyone is settled, Lucia
and Charles start speaking which made everyone quiet down.
Charles: Alright everyone, listen up! This will be the final
scene of the movie here. This where the trio finally made it to
the docks and begin to part ways to their home countries. Lucia
told us that the boat will be arriving in a few minutes so we
have to time this perfectly. Once we film this, it'll pan from
Chelsea to the other two. That pay phone shouldn't be working so
one of the crew workers can be the background characters during
this scene.
Lucia: This is suppose to be an emotional scene where the three
go on their separate ways, unsure if they'll ever see each other
again. They have no technology to communicate with one another
since the last time they used it, the traffickers used it to
hunt down the group. Chelsea's character, Franny is going back
to Boston to take back her gang and get revenge on the guy who
betrayed her, Mike's character, Klaus is going to Germany to
save his family farm from the greedy buyers and Vivian's
character Myst is going back to India to reunite with her
family. But in this scene, this is where Myst start to form
doubts into her mind and her friends has to reassure her that
everything is going to be alright and to not be afraid after
everything they did to escape.
Lucia was interrupted by the horn from one of the trade ships
coming towards the docks. That boat came in two minutes earlier
than it should meaning that there's no time for rehearsal. This
is now or never. Charles and Lucia look at each other before
turning to the people from the clubs.
Mike: Dammit! That boat came in earlier than it should. We can't
do rehearsals now.
Lucia: It doesn't matter. We need to do this now!
Charles: Everyone get into place right away! Get those cameras
ready! Make sure they have new batteries while the rest of the
tech are all charged up and ready to go! Actors, get into
position right now! When the boat starts passing, don't let it
drown out your voices! Be as loud as you can so everyone can
hear you! Everyone else, get into position! Those who are not
doing anything, help out the yordles with watch patrol! If there
are beings wanting to watch, they can do it without getting in
the way. Anything malevolent trying to screw this up needs to be
stop right in their tracks. We have no time for simple minded
buggers!
Lucia: Try your best to keep them at bay but if they're too
much, don't be afraid to bail and come down to warn us. This
film is important but I would like to rest tonight without the
images of people being butchered plagued into my mind and I'm
sure as hell you guys don't want that either.
The teenagers immediately start moving as Charles and Lucia
gives out the orders. Chelsea, Mike and Vivian gets into
position as the camera and sound crew get into position after
checking their equipment. Charles and Lucia stand behind the
camera and sound crew so they can watch.
Lucia: It's now or never! Remember your lines and be loud when
the docks come up and try to drown you out! Also, the accents
you guys do is great, but try not to make it stereotypical.
Trolls and morons are one thing but we also don't need actual
people from different countries trying to grill us as well. Just
relax and play your part. Ready, and action!
Chelsea: "Well, this is it. We're finally here. I honestly can't
believe it."
Mike: "Ja, same here. I just hope that I can make it in time. I
need to save my family's farm before it's too late. Luckily,
this ship ride will take a day or two."
Chelsea: "Well, power to ya, buddy. The trip might take longer
for me but it won't hinder my determination to head back. That
two faced bastard is gonna pay for what he's done."
Mike: "Couldn't you just move on and start a new life, Franny?"
Chelsea: shakes head "No way. The gang I formed is more than
some group of no good brats. We're a family who looks out for
one another when no one else would. What Percy did was
unforgivable and he's probably ruling the gang that I created
with my own blood and sweat with fear and tyranny. He needs to
pay for his actions. And I'm just the thing to make him wish
that he wasn't born! Just call me karma."
Mike: "Well, all I can do is pray for your safety, my friend. As
for you Myst, are you ready to reunite with your family?" looks
at "Myst" which change to worry when seeing doubt in her eyes
"Myst?"
Chelsea: "Yo, you alright?"
Vivian: "I... I don't know. I've been wanting to go back home
but I've been in that awful place for almost as long as I can
remember. I have done... things in order to survive and now that
I'm free, it feels like a dream. But what if my family already
forgot about me? What if they don't want me there?"
Chelsea: "Whoa now, you risked everything to get out of that
hellhole! You endured that torment ever since you were a kid.
There's no stopping now!"
Mike: "Listen Myst. What you've been through was hell enduring
but you never gave up no matter what."
Chelsea: "You told us how loving your family was. Hell, you told
us that your little bro ran after the bastards who took you.
Even though he got shot in the ear and in the leg, he still
tried to save you. If that's not love, then I don't know what
is."
Mike: "Even if they don't remember you or turn their backs,
we're positive that your brother will at least notice you and
still love you."
The three turn to the large shipping port from India. When the
ship start blaring it's horn, the trio gave each other a big hug
and try to fight back tears before letting go of each other.
During the scene, Charles and Lucia watch the scene with
approval. They're doing a pretty good job under pressure. They
notice the spirits gathering at a safe distance and watching
what's going on out of curiosity. The yordles and one of the
members of the film club are also keeping an eye out when one of
them notice a figure with a black bunny mask on. This cannot be
good.
Chelsea: "Damn these salt waters! It's getting into my eyes!"
Mike: "We'll find a way to contact with one another once we head
home and handle our business."
Vivian: "But Klaus, the traffickers..."
Chelsea: "Got some hacker buddies who can help with that. Once I
find my way around what they do, I'll contact you peeps once I
save my family. You guys go to yours. I'm sure they miss you
guys more than anything. No go on, Misty. Your ride is here...!
This is your one shot! Don't hesitate!"
The guy in the bunny mask heads down to the port and shifts into
a huge inky like dark spirit. The yordles and the kid starts
running to the scene to warn the kids as this happens. Good
thing the kid is a speedster like Kennen.
Teenager: GUYS, RUN!
Charles: Craig, what the bloody hell are you--?!
Before Charles can even finish his sentence, an explosion
happened at the docks due to a mix of mana and dark magic, the
main target being the large shipping boat that were close to
Chelsea, Mike and Vivian.
Chelsea: HOLY SH*T!
Charles: OH MY GOD!
Lucia: EVERYONE, RUN!!
Everyone starts running for their lives, leaving the camera and
other equipment behind as they try to run away from the madness
happening. Each ship was getting decimated due to the chain
reaction happening, sending flying debris and cargo at all
directions. The older teens were trying to usher the younger
ones to safety while those like Lucia use her magic to keep the
debris from hitting the kids. One of the large cargo crates flew
pass Lucia, almost hitting Chelsea and spiraling toward the work
station, decimating it. Seeing the kids in trouble, the spirits
use whatever power they have to not only keep the children from
harm's way but to also guide them to the Mersey Forest.
Charles: C'mon, move! Move!
Teenager 1: This bad! Really bad!
Teenager 2: I don't wanna die!
One of the crates knocked another, almost hitting Vivian and the
younger teen, Craig who were running with Tristana on Craig's
shoulder. The crate landed in front of them and the impact
knocked Craig and Tristana to the ground. As Vivian rush over to
help them up, she notice the crate was full of explosive gas.
She use her body and activate her spirit powers to shield the
two as the explosives goes off. They survived but barely. Vivian
got up and check up on the two she shielded.
Vivian: You two alright?
Craig: Y-Yeah...
Tristana: Just a few scratches that can be healed.
Tristana waits for the teens to get up before crawling back up
to Vivian's shoulder. Vivian's hearing abilities pick up Charles
and Mike calling for the three to come over since they found
someone. The trio rush over to the forest to see Lucia checking
the pulse of a unconscious woman in the wreckage along with the
rest of the kids. Parts of her suit was singed, her glasses are
damaged and she was bleeding excessively.
Vivian: Oh my God... that's Agent Mills. She's one of the MI-6
agents that were trying to find my mother. Heard that she was
working with the FBI with something but I couldn't find out what
on.
Chelsea: Damn. Sorry, Vivi.
Lucia and the teens along with the yordles jump and scream in
shock and horror when they saw the body move, showing that the
agent is still alive somehow. Lucia scramble back to where the
others are and gets her magic ready. Agent Mills groggily sit up
and look at the teenagers surrounding her, follow by a headache.
Agent Mills: W-Who are you?
Vivian: Agent Mills, it's me, Vivian Langston. You and a few
others were looking for my mother, Blair Langston.
Lucia: calms down a little Ma'am, listen to me. You took a heavy
hit during the incident at the port. You're going to be okay,
we're getting help right now, just don't move.
Agent Mills takes out a pistol gun which made everyone step back
in shock. A few spirits get ready to defend the kids but the
yordles told them to stand down for now. Mills turn to the kids
with a look of worry and fear in her eyes.
Chelsea: H-Holy sh*t!
Agent Mills: They will kill... all of you. They... do not
discriminate. They go after mortals, immortals and in between.
Do not speak of this... or else they'll come for you... and your
family. These people are getting more dangerous... to the point
that even those like MI-6 are being targeted. Vivian... they are
looking for your mother. Your mother got into too deep. They
will find a way to draw her out... even by using you and your
father as bait to do it...
Lucia: I would like to seem them try.
Chelsea: We won't let that happen.
The teens turn to the sound of authorities coming towards their
way.
Craig: Guys, we got to move.
Charles: Crap...
Mike: Wait, we can't leave her like this.
Agent Mills: points a gun at the kids GO!
As if almost on demand, the kids turn tail and run for their
lives. Once they got to their site, they gather up their
equipment as fast as they can which miraculously survived the
incident and scramble into their vehicles and the far entrance
of the port. Vivian got her father's car running as her friends
hop in. The kids step on it and drove away before the cops can
even catch them. Meanwhile, a few cops manage to find Agent
Mills and begin to help her up when two male figures in cloaks
and black rabbit masks appear before them. One of the cops
immediately pulls out his gun and aim it at the figures.
Cop 1: Get Agent Mills out of here. I'll cover you. Go now!
The two cops does what the higher rank said as they call for
back up for him as they flee with Agent Mills. One of the
cloaked figures chuckle darkly as the other one pop out his
claws.
Alistair: Modest, but pointless. Look at it this way, you'll be
slaughtered like the pigs you truly are. Though if you comply
and give us the agent, you will leave in one piece.
Cop 1: Go to hell you monsters.
Alistair: chuckle smugly under his mask I love it when they do
it the hard way.
