Cursed Physiology:
~This power grants the user enhanced/supernatural capabilities
like strength, speed and/or the ability to manifest new
appendages by the negative supernatural effect placed upon them
which they can draw power from.
Wendigo Physiology:
~User with this ability either is or can transform into a
Wendigo: a malevolent cannibalistic spirit strongly associated
with the Winter, the North and coldness, as well as with famine
and starvation. It was variously a malevolent cannibalistic
spirit that could possess humans or a monster that humans could
physically transform into, with those who indulged in
cannibalism were at particular risk.
General form tends towards emaciated gauntness, looking and
smelling as if recently disinterred from the grave, size ranges
from human to gigantic.
Air Walking:
~The user can walk on the air, treating it like a solid matter.
They can run and move across the air as if walking on the
ground, giving them greater maneuverability in their
environment.
Cold Immunity:
~User is immune to cold, being completely invulnerable to direct
and indirect effects.
Fang Retraction:
~The user has abnormally sharp fangs and can deliver a deadly
bite with them. In some cases, the fangs may even be
retractable.
Matter Ingestion:
~The user can eat any substance without harmful effects,
regardless of what they consume. They can consume matter in any
form - solid, liquid or gas.
Cannibalism Empowerment:
~User becomes stronger, faster, more durable, etc. from the act
of cannibalism: eating the flesh of a member of one's own
species, like a human eating another human, possibly unlocking
abilities related to the affinity and enhancing their existing
powers. Some users may be able to draw sustenance from the act
or even slow or stop aging.
Sense Focusing:
~User can focus their senses to look for a particular
sight/sound/smell/taste/feel and blocking out all others.
Dark Alchemy Arts:
Dark Alchemy:
~User can utilize a malefic form of Alchemy, the mystic and
scientific pursuit of the power of the Philosopher's Stone and
Universal Panacea, focusing on Elemental Transmutation (ranging
from transforming base materials into purer (lead or iron into
silver or gold), to making permanent changes on the state of
matter (making glass malleable or durable), etc.), various forms
of Elemental Manipulation (especially electricity and fire) and
Life-Force Manipulation (Immortality, Healing and even creating
life or at the least clones/homunculi). They also know how to
create potions (for rejuvenation and immortality) and magical
items, although these are generally for practical use.
Dark Ice Manipulation:
~User can create, shape and manipulate the ice of a darker,
detrimental nature; that which damages, destroys, and consumes
anything/everything they come across, representing the hazardous
destructive side of ice, which in turn ignores most of the
limitations and weaknesses of the normal ice. In essence, this
is about solely controlling the negative powers of ice.
Freezing:
~The user can reduce the kinetic energy of atoms meaning they
effectively make things colder, ranging from slightly chilly
levels to absolute zero.
Frostbite:
~The user can freeze up any part of an entity's body where one
can turn the tissues and flesh into solid ice making the victim
shatter into pieces due to freeze drying, or cause a swelling
making it hard to move for the victim.
Cryogenic Blood:
~The user's blood is freezing cold rendering them invisible to
all thermal cameras and causing their blood to freeze anything
it comes in contact with.
Spells:
Gikoru:
~ It fires large ice projectiles from the user's mouth.
Furizudo:
~It creates shards of ice from Okeus' mouth that travel on land,
freezing the opponent wherever it makes contact. He can also do
it by using his blades, hands or feet.
Gishirudo:
~It creates a cold gust of icy wind that temporarily forms into
an ice shield to protect its user.
Ganzu Gikoru:
~It fires many large shards of ice at the opponent at once.
Gikoru Garugo:
~It causes massive icicles to erupt from the ground beneath the
target.
Ragikoru Fangu:
~It summons an icy, white wendigo to attack its opponent from
the ground.
Rajia Furizudo:
~A giant wave of frost that freezes all in its path. However, it
isn't strong enough, as a single fire wave attack or spell could
null it.
Sukeipu Gishirudo:
~This spell makes a giant dome-shaped barrier made of ice around
the user. This ice shield is stronger since it can protect the
user against magic based attack and other projectiles.
Wendigo Garou Abilities:
Resist Pain:
~Through force of will, the Philodox is able to ignore the pain
of his wounds and continue acting normally.
Call the Breeze:
~The Garou calls up a strong (20 mpg), cold breeze and directs
it at whim. This breeze chills anyone not prepared for it, and
it disperses (or redirects) clouds of vapor (including tear gas
or airborne toxins) or swarms of insects. The Garou simply
whistles to call the breeze.
Snow Sight:
~The Garou gains the ability to see clearly even in the harshest
of blizzard or “white-out” conditions. The use of this Gift
cancels any disadvantage due to reduced visibility caused by bad
weather conditions, whether heavy falling snow, rain, fog or
glare.
Camouflage:
~The Wendigo blends in with the surrounding wilderness, which
makes him very difficult to see.
Ice Echo:
~The Wendigo conjures a perfect reflection of himself. The image
is identical to the Garou, except that it is reversed, as though
seen in a mirror (so any writing on the Garou’s clothing would
be backwards, scars would be on the wrong side, etc.) The
Wendigo can control the image easily, giving it voice and
guiding its motion. It can be created at any point within 100
feet (30 m). The Echo moves and sounds exactly like the Garou in
addition to taking on her precise appearance, but gives off no
scent or heat, and is intangible.
Beat of the Heart Drum:
~The werewolf becomes an inescapable hunter, drawn ever onward
by the beat of his prey’s heart until that heart grows still.
The Garou must have an object belonging to his target, a piece
of the victim (a blood sample, a lock of hair), or must have
tasted his quarry’s blood in the past. The Wendigo can hear her
quarry's heartbeat for one day, no matter how far away they may
be. The beat grows louder as the werewolf draws near, making
tracking effortless.
Claws of Frozen Death:
~Blue smoke rolls off of the werewolf’s claws and teeth, which
are transformed into curving daggers of hardened ice. Wounds
inflicted with these terrible weapons turn black and fester, all
the warmth and life driven out of them.
The transformation lasts for the rest of the scene, or until
banished voluntarily. Any individual wounded by the werewolf’s
fangs or claws suffers pain for the rest of the scene as chills
wrack the body. Additionally, such wounds heal badly; mortals
are likely to lose injured limbs as the tissue necrotizes, and
beings capable of supernaturally swift healing (such as vampires
or some enhanced humans) are unable to heal these wounds for one
day, depending on the damage. This Gift can’t be used in human
form, but applies fully to the claws and/or fangs of all other
forms.
Devouring Rime:
~A Garou with this Gift can touch something living and cause it
to become covered with ice. Slowly radiating outward from the
point of contact, a shimmering coat of ice crawls over the
target’s body, freezing every muscle it touches into
motionlessness.
The character must be within physical reach of the target, and
must be able to touch the target's bare skin, flesh or fur. When
he does so, the person creates a quickly-growing layer of ice
over the target's body. The target must try to resist the
devouring coat of ice before the next rp round such as using a
heat based power or weapon, or become frozen and immobile for
the rest of scene. The ice itself behaves naturally under all
external physical changes; for example, it melts beneath a
sudden blast of heat, and it can be chipped away (carefully) by
anyone assisting the target.
Salmon Swim:
~A Garou with this Gift is able to swim as easily as a fish, or
even walk on the surface of the water as if it were land. Salmon
Swim works only on freshwater bodies, not on oceans, but it
works as well on a lake or pond as it does a river. The Gift
does not work within a swimming pool or other purely artificial
container of fresh water. Though if Okeus has to, he can form
dark ice on his feet if he has to walk on anything that he
couldn't like swimming pools or oceans.
The character can move freely on or under the surface of the
water for one scene.
Tourniquet:
~A werewolf with this Gift may use it to drastically reduce any
amount of her own bleeding, specifically blood loss that she
experiences as a result of combat. A bloody wound taken in a
duel or in battle by a klaive, blade, fang or claw can be
staunched swiftly with a whisper of gratitude to the spirits.
Tourniquet does not heal, numb or close the wound, but simply
keeps it from bleeding further. Wendigo consider it very bad
form to use this Gift to stem bleeding caused by self-inflicted
wounds, causing the loss of Honor Renown if its use is known.
Accordingly, Wendigo may not use this Gift while attempting to
complete a rite or other ritual that requires any check of
Stamina.
This gift converts Lethal wounds into Bashing wounds, and does
not repair Bashing damage on its own. This means that the wounds
needs to be treated by healing or if Okeus eats enough dark ice
to replenish his health.
Cutting Wind:
~The Garou conjures up a bitterly cold blast of wind and directs
it at will. The wind can knock opponents off their feet, as well
as chill them to the bone.
The wind can also knock foes off ledges, into traffic or into
pits. The wind's medium range is 20 yards, and it is modified
per the rules on firearms. The winds will last depending on the
user, meaning either it will stop willingly or if the person
gets hurt.
Bloody Feast:
~Great Wndigo, as a hungry cannibalistic spirit, can teach his
favored children the ability to gain added strength from an
enemy’s flesh and blood.
To activate this Gift, the Garou must first bite his opponent
and be able to taste blood — meaning he must inflict at least
one health level of damage, and his victim must be something
that bleeds. If his opponent has toxic blood or none at all,
this Gift will not work.
Sky Running:
~The Garou gains the ability to run at 50mph (80kph) through the
skies. The Garou must continually remain in motion, or he falls.
The Garou leaves a track of fire in the sky as he runs. This
gift last for four hours.
Strength of Pine:
~This Gift allows a character to ground herself in the presence
of Gaia, spiritually as well as physically. If the character is
struck by lightning or electricity, she remains unharmed by it
for that turn of combat; she also becomes resistant to physical
attacks, regenerating herself as long as she does not uproot
herself from the touch of Gaia.
The difficulty of the grounding varies depending on the physical
location of the character. Any physical damage inflicted on the
grounded werewolf takes effect, but is then healed at the next
turn, provided she does not move from her grounding-spot.
Whiteout:
~This Gift allows a Garou to transform the area around her into
a blinding whiteout, rendering it utterly featureless and
dangerously disorienting. Any characters within the reach of the
spell are enclosed within a frightening, snowy blizzard-filled
dome, which deadens all scents, mutes all sounds with the roar
of wind, and blinds all types of vision. The Gifted character's
senses are untouched by these effects, although she remains
within the whiteout. Similarly, other Wendigo are unaffected by
the power of this Gift.
The diameter of the dome covered by the whiteout varies, though
the limit is 50-100 feet max.
Scream of Gaia:
~The Garou emits a horrible, ragged scream imbued with Rage and
pain of Gaia. The force of the scream batters foes and knocks
them off their feet.
Everyone within a 50-foot radius is blasted to the ground to
suffer one health level of bashing damage per success as a
shockwave rips through the area.
Shelter of Needles:
~As the Strength of the Pine grounds a single Garou, the
protective umbrella of the Pine’s branches may be extended to
shield any Garou, human or Gaian creature in the surrounding
area. It also disables anything electrically powered beneath its
canopy for that turn, as all the power is grounded and funneled
towards Gaia.
Skills:
Natural Weaponry:
~The user possesses some form of natural weaponry, including
claws, fangs, horns, beaks, clubbed tails, etc., and knows how
to use them.
Dual Wielding:
~The user is capable of wielding two different weapons with ease
in combat. The weapons in question are normally bladed weaponry
and/or firearms, but it can be virtually any melee and/or ranged
weapon. Because of this, the user is able to deal twice the
damage to their opponent quickly, swiftly, and effectively.
They're also able to hold their own against multiple enemies at
multiple angles, allowing them to fight and take advantage of
wide openings.
However, due to possessing two weapons at the same time, the
user often bears poor defensive skills, so this ability requires
speed, power, accuracy, and fast reaction time in order to
maneuver through and counter their enemies' attacks in order to
make up for the lack of defense.
Enhanced Swordsmanship:
~Users are able to demonstrate a natural aptitude for the ways
of the sword, including anything sword-shaped such as fictional
swords. They are able to wield a sword with incredible expertise
in speed, power, and skill, allowing them to perform feats such
as stopping and deflecting bullets, decimating large objects or
areas, cutting through a solid material such as steel, and even
hold back their strength to deal damage to their foes without
killing them.
The user is able to operate with little or no effort, deliver
skillful strikes to weak points with great precision and cut
only and exactly what they want. This ability also allows them
to become naturally skilled with multiple swords or any bladed
weapon regardless of shape or size to suit their needs in
combat. Their remarkably fast weapon control may allow them to
bypass obstacles in order to cut their intended target.
Animalistic Combat:
~The user can combine using animal imitation with physical
fighting, they can fight with the brutality of a bear, the speed
of a cheetah, the ferocity of a tiger, the agility of a leopard,
the dexterity of a monkey, the flexibility of a snake, etc.
Alchemy Combat:
~The user is able to infuse alchemy with physical attacks.
Transformation:
Wendigo Form:
~A form that Okeus can shift into at will. In this form, he
gains the full power of the Wendigo. His ice powers doubles
along with his physical abilities and his regeneration
abilities. Downside is that when he shifts into this form, he
immediately has a hunger for human flesh and will have to go
after it before he goes feral, even attacking his mortal allies.
Weaknesses:
Although he use dark ice, white flames and pure ice can counter
his power. The same goes with the holy opposite of the dark ice
power. As a malevolent spirit, soul eater weapons can harm him
along with other weapons that can harm spirits such as death
wraith weapons and grim reaper scythes. Silver and varanium will
mildly harm him though uldrium can be hell for Okeus since he
uses dark ice. Although he uses dark alchemy, there are still
laws that he has to follow such as he cannot create things out
of nothing along with equivalent exchange. Although he learned
to keep it under control, his hunger for human flesh is immense
and if he doesn't have it for over 12 hours, he will go in a
frenzy.
Weapon(s):
Red Death Armor:
~Okeus has a Red Death armor modified by Nightshade. This suit
is durable enough to withstand against fire based attacks along
with any holy/light attacks and most melee weapons. Though it
doesn't restrict his movements, letting him move as nimble and
freely as possible.
Twin Swords:
~These dual blades are soul eater weapons. These weapons are
able to cut through almost anything along with it harming those
with regeneration and those with intangible abilities/beings.
Okeus can infuse these weapons with his powers for more damage.
Personality:
Okeus lost his ability to speak after his transformation.
Although silent, he's still retain some of his human
intelligence such as understanding human language and
communication. He is capable of sign language though he prefers
using sounds like grunts and growls, showing that he is also
somewhat of an animal. Although he acts like a feral animal on
the battlefield, he is pretty tactical and will flee if he has
no other choice or if his superiors says otherwise. He does care
about his subordinates along with other members of the coven,
willing to do anything to protect them despite his sternness.
Bio:
Okeus was sold to a shady dealer for six packs of beer by his
father after his mother left them. He grew up learning how to be
a mule all of his life and had to learn how to fend for himself.
Disobeying means death or worse. Throughout his rotten life, he
never forgot his father's face or forgave him one bit. At the
age of sixteen, he went to his old house one day and slit his
drunken father's throat when he was asleep. He coldly watch his
own father bleed out on the dirty carpet before leaving him to
die. Okeus continue his spree of murders due to him developing a
taste for it. At the age of 17, he found an old dark alchemy
book. Taking a liking to it, he studied how to wield it, getting
him to learn dark ice alchemy.
Two days after his nineteenth birthday, Okeus was on the run
from the cops after they found him killing his old boss and a
few of his thugs. He ran for days until he ended up somewhere in
the northeastern part of the woods in the states where it was
getting colder. Okeus tried his best to survive but he had no
choice but to eat a dead hiker. This kind of act painfully
turned him into a wendigo. He manage to maintain some of his
intelligence but it was too late.
He continue to roam the woods until he met Amalia. Thinking she
was a normal human, he attacked her but got his ass kicked in no
less than five minutes, despite his best efforts. Instead of
killing him, she asked him to join her coven where he can
perfect his dark alchemy. Intrigued, he accept the offer and
later on became the leader of the Brute Assassins, protecting
the coven and slaying those who dare try to exterminate them.
