RP Story: Raiden Kindron's Trip to the Future

Part 1: A Warring Future

Raiden Kindron had been busy as of late, despite no one really
knowing what he'd been up to. He'd just finished a new type of
enhancement gem. Up until this point, he could only use his Zeus
abilities and his positive side's abilities in his enhancement
gems he gave to his loyal followers and members of the Jigsaw
Organization that had passed his tests. However, he had a number
of growing people with negative natures or demonic natures,
which meant that he was having to come up with a different way
to enhance them since his normal methods weren't working. As a
way to do so, Kindron developed a new demonic enhancement gem,
one that used his dark side abilities to enhance someone.
Typically, this granted those he gave this gem to enhanced
demonic abilities, acting like the perfect method to enhance
those of negative or corrupted natures that couldn't use his
normal enhancement gem. Now he had two different empowerment
options for his gems, adding to his other ways to enhance others
through supernatural titles, the Alteran ascension follower
empowerment and other methods through Fu and Omega.
He had been deep in research when he fell asleep. Typically he
only researched and slept in alternate time spaces, because he
had a surprising number of people trying to beat him or fight
him constantly as of late since many people were trying to beat
him to take his spot as the head of Black Sun and the head of
Anubis's pantheon.
However, when he went to sleep, he suddenly woke up in an
unfamiliar place, surrounded by what seemed like a battle on the
streets. Once he had woken up completely, he realized that the
fighting was against a group of robots. He was standing on a
building, observing as a group of people was slowly overwhelmed.
At the forefront, a girl with glasses was blasting robots with
flames, which Kindron recognized immediately as Victor Von
Doom's personal legion of protective robots that normally
inhabited Latveria where Doom spent his time. Suspecting this
was likely a Hyperion vs Black Sun battle, he watched, trying to
find out if this Black Sun was similar to his since realized he
was in very unfamiliar surroundings. He could tell by the
futuristic setting of the buildings that he was in an alternate
timeline or alternate dimension, though didn't know which
currently.
Kindron watches, curiously, as the people at the front blast the
robots, running away. However, the group quickly gets surrounded
by bots, and Kindron realizes that the group was luring the
robots away from a group of innocent people who were getting
away. Kindron immediately detected more people in hiding with
his magic sense, knowing that the Black Sun people were about to
spring a trap.
Kindron: Well... Their style is a little bland... But I think I
work with this. He says as he forms a storm overhead. He flies
out and down to the group, blasting the groups of doom bots with
lightning. While the robots were highly resistant to elemental
attacks, as Kindron had noticed, they were not resistant to his
black lightning (a skill which he uses thanks to his training
with his universe's Veldora the storm dragon). As he flies down,
the pure physical force of his black lightning destroys the
robots as the black lightning strikes them.
He flies down, and looks to the girl in front, and notices her
presence first. Kindron: Your welcome. He says with a smile.
While most of the group was surprised, the girl at the front
adjusts her glasses and looks to Kindron. Girl: We had this
under control. It's not the first time we've fought them.
Kindron: I know... It was just easier this way.
The girl snaps her fingers and groups of her allies come out of
the sewers and out of the buildings nearby, all wearing the same
outfit she was wearing. They all point their weapons at Kindron,
which Kindron immediately noted were not made of magnetic
material so he couldn't control the guns.
Girl: We were luring them into a trap.
Kindron: Of course you were. He says sarcastically. No need for
the trap when you have me here to handle things.
Girl: Now who are you?! Only a few people I have heard of used
black lightning, and you're not one of them! She says as she
forms what appears to be base flames around her.
Kindron glares at the girl. Kindron: I should be asking you that
question, little girl. Who are you? He says darkly. Were you
people the ones who brought me here?
Girl: Of course not... If we could summon someone like you to
destroy those things so easily, why wouldn't we have summoned a
lot more? She says, shooting him a glare back that, while it
didn't make him stop, made him hesitate for a moment as he
notices some similar features.
Kindron: Tell me who you are, and then I'll tell you who I am.
He says, wanting to know if he was right about the identity of
this girl.
The girl hesitates, but answers after giving it a thought for a
moment. Girl: Shei-Ling Darkfire. Last descendant of the
Darkfire Clan.
Kindron chuckles a bit to himself. Kindron: Obviously not if I'm
here. He says sarcastically.
Shei-ling: Are you going to give us your name? Are you friend or
foe? She says as she forms flames around her, starting to feel
that Kindron might not be an ally.
Kindron: I'm Kindron Darkfire. You can call me the Storm God. He
says confidently. Strangely, Kindron's ability to go into the
ascended plane had also been removed, and he was currently stuck
in his normal ascended form on the normal plane, something he
didn't want to admit to the group, but he was confident he could
beat them in a fight if he wanted to.
From beside Shei-ling, a young man looks at him with a glare.
Man: You got a lot of nerve... Claiming to be the man who led
Black Sun during one of the worst times in it's existence!
Kindron Darkfire is nothing but a cold-hearted mass-murderer! He
says as he looks at Kindron angrily.
From nowhere, Vobu appears. Vobu: Easy, Kuo. He's from a
different timeline. He doesn't know what Black Sun does yet. He
says to the young man as he looks to Kindron. Come with us. I
got a feeling that I know why you're here. He says as he waves
at the other people to stand down.
Kindron: Fine... Anything to go back home at this point. He says
as he walks over to Vobu. Vobu teleports the entire group back
to their home base, which Kindron recognized instantly. It
looked more high tech than before, and had different projects
going on, but he was definitely in the Black Sun base.
Vobu: In your timeline, you're ascended right? He says looking
to Kindron.
Kindron: Yes... But I can't access the ascended plane to figure
out where and when I am. Something's cut off my access to it. I
can't see beyond my magic sense and rhythm sense right now,
which is a bit concerning. He says before turning away, then
turning back to Vobu as a thought occurs as he teleports his
sword to him and holds it to Vobu, which makes everyone take
their weapons out again and point them at Kindron. Are you the
one responsible for this? Because I'm not some pawn to be
summoned and then used! I'm getting sick of being a pawn in the
god's games! He says angrily.
Vobu: Easy, crybaby... He says with a sigh. He waves to everyone
to lower their weapons, which they do. I'm not responsible for
this, and even if I were, you can't kill me because you're not
strong enough. He says with a serious look to Kindron, which
makes Kindron scoff in anger. V and Hei in your time have also
both been to other timelines. I'm not responsible for it, and I
don't know yet who is, but I'm getting just as sick of it as you
are... I'm getting tired of getting overwhelmed with new
timeline information from all these timelines. The only benefit
I've been getting is that I get to try different methods of
protecting my people from being killed. As for you. You're in
the year 2720 about 700 years from your time.
Kindron: You're disconnected from the timeline, aren't you? He
says as he figured out why Vobu suddenly knew so much about
where Kindron was from in the timeline.
Vobu: Wow... You're actually the first time traveler to put that
together on your own. I'm actually somewhat impressed. He says
with a cheerful smile. Just wish you weren't such a gloomy
person. Almost every timeline I've seen you in so far, you've
been like this.
Kindron: Puts sword away. So what's going on? You said you know
why I'm here?
Vobu: Probably the same reason V and Hei were sent to other
timelines. You're supposed to save this timeline, and see what
led to this timeline happening to avoid it happening in your
timeline. I've pretty much figured out what the time traveler
people want by this point... You're the third person who's time
traveled in the last few months in your time, and this is
starting to get repetitive for me. He says with a sigh.
Kindron laughs with an almost evil laugh. Kindron: Seriously?
I'm supposed to be your savior? Do you even know who I am?!
Despite laughing, Kindron was actually very angry at the fact
that he was being played again by the gods, or by someone.
Vobu: Yes... Sadly... In the last timeline, I fought an evil you
for years. He says with a sigh.
Kindron looks to Vobu curiously, regaining his composure. So...
You going to explain what's going on?
Vobu: I was getting ready to. He thinks for a moment. Your time,
you're at war with Hyperion. Well... At one point your friends
decide to kill the Ellimist and Crayak to end their games with
their world, and they figure out the means to do so... He sighs
again. This is getting exhausting having to explain this.[/b] He
says as a side comment.[/b] Anyway... In order to keep balance
and not let the universe tear itself apart, or destroy itself,
the powers of the Ellimist and Crayak have to be preserved and
taken by someone else.
Kindron: And let me guess... This timeline you're the Ellimist?
He says as he pulls up a chair and sits down. He was focusing on
the people working, building robots and building mech suits for
battle.
Vobu: What gave me away? He says as he tilts his head in
confusion as to how Kindron came to that conclusion, given that
Vobu was suppressing his presence completely and should have
sensed as just a simple voodoo spirit.
Kindron: I can sense your personality, the way you act like you
know everything. It's the same mystical knowledge sense I get
from the Ellimist. Hide it all you want, but your persona makes
it obvious. He says without looking at Vobu.
Vobu chuckles a bit. Vobu: Well... You do know Crayak and the
Ellimist pretty well, don't you? Well anyway... You were the
first Ellimist. He says as he continues his story of the history
of the timeline so far. You choose the power of the Ellimist as
part of a truce with Hyperion. Both of you were gonna rule half
the world after you and Dr. Doom got tired of your wars going
nowhere. Black Sun and Hyperion worked together and attacked
those that were working against both organizations once they
started gaining ground on you. Once combined, your people and
Hyperion invaded the US and Russia first.
Kindron: Why would I invade them? I'm not out to kill them. He
says to Vobu.
Vobu: Well... He says as he tries to think of a good way to
explain it. After some things in your time happened, you went
beyond just killing criminals and Hyperion people... You started
considering everyone enemies that didn't side with you. It meant
a lot of people ended up changing sides. After the long war with
Anubis's people and a few other threats... Let's just say that
circumstances led to you becoming much harsher. You started
killing anyone you felt like killing, and once you started
torching cities either by yourself or using your forces to torch
and burn pretty much everything in your path, things spiraled
after that. That was only the beginning.
Kindron: I'm in perfect control. He says darkly. How would I
lose control and start killing people? I protect the innocent
and kill evil! That's my purpose now!
Vobu: You're in control now. But you won't be forever and you
know it. You know you're walking a path of evil, and you are on
the verge of crossing that line. You've come close already to
walking over that line already. You can't tiptoe that line
forever without consequences. He says to Kindron with a serious
look.
Kindron: Fine... I lose control... What next? He says, letting
the point go. Despite wanting to object, he knew Vobu was right,
and he had felt his anger boiling as of late. The last time his
anger had gotten this bad, it didn't have a great end result.
Vobu: Well... Ragnorok ended up building a resistance with what
remained thanks to V and Vin. Vowl also remained neutral and is
still ruled by Radu the Inferno, though these days they've
retreated to the Land of Dragons and built their kingdom there
after the Land of Dragons separated itself from our world. Their
ruler, the Shining Dragon King, felt it best to cut off ties
that Ryu Bordas had built with most of us after Black Sun and
Ragnorok took over and threatened to invade the Land of Dragons
once again. Ragnorok ended up as the final stronghold of
resistance to the rule by Black Sun and Hyperion. After that,
you and Hyperion went at it again, letting Ragnorok and Vowl
exist on their own as long as they didn't interfere in your war.
After you both took over the US, Russia, Wakanda, and pretty
much all the resistances that popped up, you and Doom made a
pact. The two of you opted to kill Crayak and the Ellimist
yourselves, after your friends couldn't so long ago.
Kindron: Right... You said they found a means to do so, right?
Vobu: That's right... After V told everyone about what happened
in the timeline where you got Crayak's power and that you turn
evil, you opted to not even bother helping with the event after
Hei suggested you take the evil power and V trying to keep the
event from happening that would make you go crazy. But they
couldn't do it without you, because Hei's trip to the future
involved a timeline where Anubis takes that evil power, and
basically wars humanity and supernaturals to extinction when you
refuse to take the evil power. And of course, using you to take
the evil power was dangerous in itself because of the other
future where you split into an evil dictator and a cursed mess.
Their plans fell apart, and they couldn't do it because they
couldn't figure out who would take the evil power, and no one
felt comfortable with any of the options presented, for good
reason. But you and Doom decided to revive those plans and make
youselves the new forces of good and evil. In your eyes, you
were doing what you felt was right, and you considered everyone
who opposed you as "enemies of justice" or some dictator crap
like that. He says with a sigh. Well anyway... After that, you
and Doom put the plan into action. You took the Ellimist power,
while Doom took the Crayak power. The two of you managed to kill
them both and do the job, as you might imagine.
Kindron: So Black Sun and Hyperion became the instruments of
good and evil I take it?
Vobu: Pretty much... Black Sun and Hyperion did a lot of
horrible things in the name of good and evil after that to the
point that most people couldn't even tell the difference between
the good and evil forces anymore because you two practically
blurred them together. Ragnorok tried to stop the war, but
failed on several occasions. V ended up ruling Ragnorok after
you stole Olympus from her, and Doom ended up taking over
certain other pantheons decimated by wars with Anubis and a few
other threats. In the end... It was Hei that confronted you.
Kindron: Let me guess... Hei wanted my power? He's always been
jealous that I've always been better than him! He says with an
angry tone, clenching his fists in anger.
Vobu: It wasn't about wanting power, Kindron... He wanted to
stop you from falling even further. You don't understand just
how bad things got... You were killing innocent people who
refused to be ruled by Black Sun, and you were mass-murdering
entire cities! You became just another tyrant and you were the
very thing you are trying to fight against right now. Your goal
got out of hand and you would have been disgusted with what you
ended up doing. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned...
Hei managed to kill you, but at the cost of his own life, so his
plans of taking the Ellimist power didn't work out. He explains
to Kindron.
Kindron: So I died then... He says as he sighs in thought. That
didn't end the war I take it?
Vobu: No... Vin took the power after you died since Vin was the
backup plan after Hei died, because Hei decided that they might
need backup candidates based on how previous timelines had gone
like the future timeline was in that they failed to save the
world in because they didn't plan on certain things happening.
Basically, You and Hei killed each other, and Vin had to pick up
the pieces of the battle. Your battle activated your curse, and
you both lost your lives that day as the final part of the
curse. After you and Hei killed each other, Vin took the
Ellimist power... She always regretted it too. She never wanted
to be the one to be forced to take those powers... But she did
anyway.
Kindron: Where was V during this? He says curiously.
Vobu: V went after Doom. The idea was that V was the only person
that your friends knew of that would be able to resist the
temptations of evil, and she even went through a ton of extra
training to do it so that she and Vin could rebalance the
world's good and evil. They figured that the only way to balance
the forces of good and evil since V and Vin were pretty close in
power at that point and the powers would remain even. And
well... V did kill Doom... But V sacrificed her life to do it.
Of course, their backup for the evil force was Dark Vin who
would do the job if V couldn't. Vin and Dark Vin became the
sources of good and evil after Hei and V gave their lives. They
managed to make a truce between Hyperion and Black Sun, and even
managed to set up some arrangements to allow the two groups to
work together to benefit the world. Together, they were both
pretty good rulers and managed to keep the good and evil in the
world balanced better than anyone could have imagined, and
better than any of the other timelines our group had visited.
Vin and Dark Vin restructured the groups, and tried to bring
peace. Heck... They even stopped the resurrection of Zeus on a
few occasions with Ragnorok's help, and stopped some rather
nasty attacks from alternate dimensions. With Vin and Dark Vin
working together, they tried to live up to the legacies left
behind by V and Hei, and I think they did a pretty great job
even if both Vins would say they didn't. A lot of good people
were killed during the battle against yours and Doom's forces,
and while Vin and Dark Vin couldn't bring them back, they did at
least stop the wars so more people wouldn't die. It was Vin that
found me and recruited me to her side after I lost my friends.
Even though Hei purified me, it was Vin that finally got me back
into living again rather than just living as a depressed mess.
This was what... the third time I'd lost everything? He says the
last part in thought, as this was the third timeline he'd lived
through.
Kindron: So, I take it that the peace didn't last forever? I
assume something else had to happen if your groups are fighting
each other again.
Vobu: Right... He says with a sigh. Sadly... Vin and Dark Vin
were eventually overthrown. Dark Vin was killed by the child of
Esdeath and Kirys, and former second in command of Doom who
survived Doom's death. His name is Zaine Nexus. These days, he's
the ruler of Hyperion. Zaine killed Dark Vin, and became the new
Crayak.
Kindron: So then who killed Vin?
Vobu: Not someone you're going to know... Her name is Kari
Sinclair, a fallen fairy who hated Vin for killing her mother
during the Hyperion war in your time. Though even if she hadn't,
Dark Vin's death would have still killed Vin since their lives
were tied together being fairy and fallen fairy opposites of
each other. However, Kari still wanted to kill Vin herself.
However, unlike Dark Vin, Vin managed to hand off the power
before she died, and passed it on to me before she died. But,
because of the war killing off the leaders of both groups... We
were left at a disadvantage and soon Hyperion started taking
over after Zaine restarted their goals to take over the world,
which many of them had never given up on. Zaine was a pretty
good talker, and managed to rally Hyperion long before I was
able to get Black Sun rallied to fight back. They managed to
push us out of a lot of our territories, and now we're on the
verge of losing the war completely. I've tried to balance out
good and evil with Zaine, but Zaine Nexus counters me every time
I try to interfere, and he can actually beat me in a fight as
much as it pains me to admit... Also, he's not above letting the
world tear itself apart in evil if it means finally finishing
off Black Sun. Even if we kill him, he may try to blast the evil
power to the other side of the universe to keep it away from us.
Kindron: What about Ragnorok? Aren't they still around?
Vobu: No... After Vin took over Black Sun, Ragnorok became a
part of Black Sun. Most of the people who did settle in Ragnorok
were in areas taken over by Hyperion, so most are either dead or
have pledged themselves to Hyperion to ensure their survival.
We're the last resistance to Zaine's rule... Vobu has a thought
and stops. Weird... I just had the strangest sense of deja vu...
He says jokingly, remembering the timeline with the evil
Kindron.
Kindron: So... You're losing and I'm supposed to save you? He
chuckles to himself. So tell me... Are you gonna worship me if I
save you? I might do it if I become the god of this timeline
too. I might have some use for this timeline once I get to Fu
back in my time.
Vobu: No. We're not going to worship you, Mr. God Complex. He
says with a sigh. Everyone in this timeline HATES you for
letting the war happen in the first place! He glares at Kindron
with an angry look. I hate you too... You know I blame you for
the worst parts of both Hei's and Vin's lives after you ascended
with what you put them through, and that timeline where you were
evil was one where I wanted to kill you for what you do in that
time! If I had my way... I'd kill you here and now to prevent
those timelines from happening a second time, but I can't... He
says as he sighs and goes back to his normal demeanor. Hei
wouldn't approve anyway... He was a big believer in forgiveness.
And if I were to kill you, I'd be afraid of what might happen to
me since I could very well get back into my old ways at that
point. Plus... I don't have the means to kill an ascended being.
Kindron: Hei likes to think he's better than me... Even in death
it seems. And you're not much better... You're definitely my
brother's pet. His pet rabbit. He says in disgust with a
sarcastic tone as he gets up, insulting Vobu. Fine... I'll help
you against this Zaine Nexus... And your people will forever be
in debt to me for saving your timeline. One of your worst
rulers... the one to save you... He laughs to himself. That's
gonna sting for a long time and I'm going to enjoy holding it
over you! He says sarcastically.
From the side, Kuo takes out his knife and walks up to Kindron,
putting his knife to Kindron's throat. Kuo: We don't NEED him...
Just his ascension energy right? So I say we harvest it from his
corpse! He's no better than Zaine and I'm not about to sit here
and let him think he's better than us! He says as he watches
Kindron.
Kindron trips and disarms Kuo using a Chinese martial arts
stepping move and a disarming move to take the knife, knocking
him to the ground and throwing the knife into the ground next to
Kuo's head, making him jump in shock when he fell to the ground.
Kindron looks to Kuo with a smile. Kindron: I like you kid...
You've got spirit. You're not afraid of what needs to be done
unlike your friends. Out of all of the people here, I think
you'd make a good addition to my forces. He says with a smile.
Shei-Ling moves in to attack, attempting to defend Kuo, and
tries to kick Kindron using a jump kick, but Kindron just grabs
her leg mid-kick and throws her into the wall, and she falls to
the ground. While not going through the wall, Shei-ling was
still stunned from the attack due to the blunt force she hit the
wall with.
Kindron: So who are these two? Are these two really the best you
have? He says to Vobu.
Vobu: He sighs and looks to Kindron. They're usually enough for
anything Hyperion throws at us... But apparently you're stronger
than I thought you were back then.
Kindron: Of course I'm strong... You think I could take out
Anubis and not be strong? Anyway... I know the girl is a
descendant of the Darkfires, but that's really about it. The boy
feels like a dragon. I do have to say though... He says looking
at them. My curiosity's piqued.
Vobu: Shei-Ling is descended from Daniel Darkfire. She's a
descendant of his. Kuo Mozoku is a descendant of Hei Long
Bordas, brother of the Dragon King of your time.
Kindron studies both of them for a moment. Kindron: Well... They
are quite an interesting duo. He then turns to Vobu. They said
you needed my ascended energy? What for?
Vobu: Our weapon. We have a weapon we were going to use to kill
Zaine, slightly based on the one he used to kill Anubis, except
tuned to forces of nature like the good and evil powers. He
points to a development room. It's in there. If you go in and
put your energy into it, we can use it. I believe you're here to
help us by giving us the weapon we need. I hope... Kuo and
Shei-Ling can beat Zaine, and we have a plan for his evil power
afterward, but we need the weapon to do it. I'm confident that I
can kill Zaine myself if I have the weapon.
Kindron silently spreads his vampire wings and flies down to the
room. He goes in, and the door closes. Since the room had no
windows, Vobu just watched and waited for Kindron to open the
door again after coming out. Since the weapon would release a
mass of energy, the room had been specially designed to contain
the energy released, so the energy had to be given in the room,
and the room was sealed.
Vobu looks to Shei-Ling and Kuo who walk up to him after
recovering from Kindron's attack.
Kuo: This isn't a good idea... I know something bad is going to
happen with him here.
Shei-Ling: I agree... He agreed to help us far too easily, even
for a past version of himself.
Vobu: Don't worry. I'm sure things will be fine. I truly think
this Kindron is not the same brutal one that you think. He's
evil, but not so far gone as to turn against the people trying
to save this world. He says as he looks back at the door.
Kuo: Can we sense the energy he's putting out? He says, looking
at the door.
Vobu: No. It shouldn't take long, but the base might suffer if
the energy leaks out. The energy predicted to be released when
the weapon got it's energy was going to be dangerous, even if
we'd used Anubis's ascended energy like we originally tried to
recreate. But Kindron's a full power ascended being. I'll be
surprised if the room doesn't explode anyway.
Kuo: Why do I get the feeling that something is off? It's
unusually silent, even for a sealed room. It's like the same
feeling I get right before someone says there's no pizza left...
He says somewhat jokingly.
After a few moments, Shei-Ling spreads her demon wings and flies
down. Shei-Long: This is taking too long! Something isn't right!
She says as she opens the door. Once she does, she goes inside
and comes back out. She looks to the two.
Shei-Ling: He's gone! The weapon too! She yells up to Kuo and
Vobu.
Vobu frowns and his eyes widen. Vobu: Oh no... He's going after
Zaine by himself! Damnit! We can't let him kill Zaine! If he
takes the evil power himself, then he's going to take that power
back to his time and there's no telling what would happen to our
world!
Kuo: Impossible! How can he teleport in the base?! Unauthorized
people can't teleport! There's no way anyone authorized him! He
says as he looks to Vobu.
Vobu: That teleportation thing doesn't limit ascended beings...
This is bad... He says in thought.
Shei-Ling flies back up and lands next to them. Shei-Ling: It
doesn't matter! We have to go now! We'll have to go straight
into Latveria... She says hesitantly.
Vobu: That's a suicide mission, Shei-Ling... You know how
dangerous that area is. No one sets foot in that country unless
the ruler allows it. Even if Kindron carves a path of
destruction, the robots will close the gap before we can get in
the country!
Kuo: I agree with Shei-Ling though! We have to do something.
Plus, that storm a**hole is going to draw Zaine's attention.
Especially if Zaine is having to fight for his life.
Vobu growls in annoyance. Vobu: Dammit... A lot of people are
going to die in this battle! You're right about one thing... We
don't have a choice... We have to rally everyone and make the
attack! He says as he gets ready to go. I'll try and see if I
can at least knock around the enemies around Latveria to make it
easier for you guys. If you get there, do what you have to. He
turns to Kuo. This is your permission to use the Sangriel
blade... Make it count. He says before teleporting.
Kuo: YES! I'm gonna kick that storm guy's ass! He says as he
goes to get the weapon. Meanwhile, Shei-Ling focuses on rallying
their forces for the attack.
Part 2: Path of Evil

Kindron: Fools and weaklings. I can't believe Black Sun has
gotten so weak if this is the best their rivals can do. Those
were Kindron's words as he stormed his way through Latveria,
leaving a path of destruction caused by his storm manipulation
as he blasted through robots using his Veldora and ascended
being mixed power he called "Black Storm" to blast through most
of his opponents with black lightning and using the Tempest Gale
power in his wind to create tornado's that were quickly leaving
a path through the robots that were trying to stop him.
It doesn't take long before Kindron makes it to the castle, and
notices the bridge was up. Kindron just smiles. Kindron: Knock
knock. He says jokingly as he fires a large blast of darkness to
blast a large part of the castle open. The hole left leaves a
path open from him as he flies across the moat and walks into
the newly opened castle, walking through the fourth of the
castle he had destroyed. It didn't take long before he found
Zaine, who was holding his sword, ready.
Kindron: You must be Zaine... I'm here to beat you.
Unfortunately for you, you going to bow to me before this fight
is over. He says with a smile as he glows with both dark flames
and black flames around him, with his dark flames being his
death flames he gained from Tartaros Kindron and the black
flames being his altered normal Darkfire flames that were
powered by physical force like his black lightning.
Zaine: So... The genocidal deity has been revived? How did that
happen? He says with a smile as he powers up using powerful
darkness which cools the room enough that it starts freezing.
Zaine's darkness seems to negate the heat in the area, which
makes Kindron's dark flames seem to evaporate. Zaine: So... What
now? Your flames aren't going to do you much good here are they?
He says with a laugh.
Kindron: It seems not... He instead focuses on his darkness
manipulation, releasing a mass of gravity, which catches Zaine
off guard, and forces him to the ground as he tries to counter
the gravity that Kindron uses on him. Zaine uses his darkness,
desperate trying to get up, but can't as he tries to use his own
gravity manipulation, but wasn't as strong as Kindron's since
Kindron's aura had far more gravity than Zaine's. Zaine managed
to get to his knees, but couldn't do much more as he struggled.
Kindron: I didn't think you'd bow to me so easily. He says with
a sarcastic smile.
Zaine scoffs angrily and manages to get up, and fires a blast of
darkness at Kindron, which Kindron slaps away and the blast hits
a wall nearby. However, the momentary lapse of concentration
made Kindron deactivate his gravity atttack, and goes in to
attack Kindron.
Kindron blocks Zaine's blade with his Trial Sword, using it to
concentrate his light energy from his ascension to create a
blade of light. He uses it to counter Zaine's darkness he had
focused into his blade. Despite Kindron not hitting Zaine yet,
Zaine was not able to hit Kindron, and Zaine starts to notice
that Kindron isn't going all out in the fight.
Kindron: Don't tell me this is the best this timeline has got.
He says as he blocks Zaine's attacks.
Zaine angrily screams and releases immense darkness around him,
utilizing the evil power's amplification ability. Zaine: Not
even close! He says as he fires blasts of evil-based darkness at
Kindron, which Kindron avoids until he finds a spot and blasts a
large blast of black lightning at Zaine, blasting him through a
wall nearby.
Zaine: You can't kill me! The evil power cannot be killed like
an ascended being. He says as he gets up and shakes the dust off
him. While injured, he regenerates using his fallen nephalem
regeneration.
Kindron: Oh I know. Normally I couldn't... But today I do have a
weapon that could. I just don't want to use it yet. He says as
he moves in to attack, closing the gap with his stepping method.
He appears in front of Zaine, who barely even sees the movement
until the last moment. Kindron attacks with a storm dragon claw
technique, which he uses like a claw slash of black lightning
and his tempest gale to create a whirlwind of slashing waves,
which cut into Zaine's chest and blasted him back again.
Kindron waves his hand upward, and then calls down a black
lightning strike, since they were still in the open, and the
black lightning strikes Zaine, causing him to scream in pain as
the lightning leaves him in a mostly charred state as he has to
regenerate.
Kindron goes over and kicks him while he's regenerating,
knocking him into the wall and pierces Zaine's shoulder with his
Zeus Thunderbolt blade, which he had in his other hand.
Voice: Leave Zaine alone! A female voice yells as she tries to
attack, but Kindron just turns and cuts her with his trial
sword, almost cutting her in in half diagonally down her chest.
She falls to the ground, gasping and coughing up blood.
Kindron: You want to surprise someone... Don't yell like an
idiot doing it. He looks at the girl who slowly regenerates in a
burst of darkness. She gets up and goes into a demon armor form,
with demonic wings coming out of her back.
Female: How could you see me?! I'm using fallen fairy
invisibility! She says in confusion before regaining her
composure and getting ready to attack again. I'm going to kill
you! She says angrily. She tries to attack, but is blasted by
Kindron's black lightning through a pillar. Though Kindron's
magic sense did
Kindron: You must be that fallen fairy... I don't remember your
name, nor do I care. Just stay down or the next one is going to
kill you. He says to Kari Sinclair, who was the fallen fairy
queen before Kindron, before turning his attention to Zaine who
had mostly regenerated. Kindron puts his Zeus thunderbolt in
it's sheath and then summons the sword that was supposed to kill
Zaine.
Kindron: Now that you know I overpower you and your friend... Do
you realize you have no hope? He says as he moves his Trial
Sword and cuts into Zaine's body closer to his heart. Despite
the fact he couldn't kill Zaine with the Trial Sword, it didn't
mean the sword didn't hurt.
Zaine: Screw you! He says as he tries to get up. He moves his
hand to blast Kindron, but Kindron uses the new sword to just
pierce through Zaine's wrist and pin it to the wall. The blade
seemed to burn Zaine's body to the touch, and Kindron looks to
Zaine as Zaine constantly regenerates, but is burned just as
fast, causing a constant pain in Zaine that left him wincing.
Zaine: I will find a way to kill you!
Kindron: Listen kid... I like your spirit. But maybe your time
is best spent asking me what I want rather than trying to kill
me.
As Zaine tries to move, Kindron just looks to him with a smile.
Kindron: I don't suppose you'd be interested in spreading my
word around your world? Make me your new God... And I can offer
you far better. Your darkness will be the new test of my new
dark gems. He says as he looks to Zaine.
Zaine looks to Kindron, surprised. Kindron: It's your way isn't
it? If I recall, your the son of Kirys. His strategy has always
been that the strongest rule, correct? Even with the evil power,
you couldn't beat me. It's because your base isn't strong
enough. He says with a smile.
Zaine: Yes. Strength is the final say when it comes to ruling.
He says, glaring at Kindron.
Kindron laughs to himself and takes the new sword out of Zaine's
wrist and slams it into the ground next to Zaine. Kindron: I was
brought to this timeline to save it from your rule and to keep
you from destroying Black Sun... But I'm playing a different
game. I'm not going to do what they want me to. He removes his
trial sword from Zaine, and then steps back so Zaine could grab
the sword and examine it, which he does.
Zaine: What's the catch? He says with a glare to Kindron as he
grabs the sword.
Kindron: Simple... Once this world is yours... You will turn it
into MY world. Your world will live with me as their new god.
When I get back to my timeline, I'll return and see how it goes
with a friend of mine. He loves messing with timelines to create
"fun" results. Kindron says with a smile. As Zaine and Kari get
up, Kindron looks out, seeing Black Sun working their way toward
them.
Kindron: So... how about it? He says to Zaine.
Zaine: You are the strongest... So you're the one that calls the
shots... He says somewhat bitterly, since he knew he'd lost.
I'll take over this world... And you will be the god of this
world... Only until I find a way to kill you! He says the last
part angrily.
Kindron: Good... I can live with that. He says before Vobu,
Shei-Ling and Kuo all arrive, running in and noticing Zaine and
Kari still alive. Vobu notices Zaine holding the new sword,
before being grabbed by Kindron and picked up by the head.
Kindron: So... The gods think they can use me? I think not.
Vobu: No... Kindron! Stop! He says in a panic as he struggles to
get free, as Kindron walks him over to Zaine.
Kindron: This is your chance Zaine... Kill the little furball.
You can let that fallen fairy girl take the good power, and
there will be no one to stop the two of you from ruling this
world together. He says as he holds Vobu. Kindron uses his power
to hold Vobu in place, using gravity like a black hole around
Vobu to keep him from being able to just shift back into spirit
form.
Vobu: No... Kindron! You can't! Zaine is evil! Please! Don't do
this! I know you still have a good heart! He says, desperate to
change Kindron's mind.
Shei-Ling and Kuo try to attack but are blocked by Kari
Sinclair, who uses a darkness barrier.
Zaine: Idiot... You gave me the weapon that will kill me! I
can't be killed now! He says as he attacks Kindron, trying to
spear both Vobu and Kindron at the same time. However, Kindron
just teleports behind Zaine, leaving Vobu to be stabbed through
the heart.
Shei-Ling: NO! VOBU! She says as she tries to break the barrier.
Even as they break the barrier and Vobu falls to the ground,
Kindron blasts them back. and uses his gravity to pull Shei-Ling
and Kuo to the floor. Shei-Ling: No! Please let us go! Let us
save Vobu! She says, breaking down into tears as Vobu lies on
the ground, gasping as his energy starts to dispel and fade
away.
Vobu: Sorry... Shei... Kuo... It wasn't... supposed... to end...
like this... He says before fading away.
After the Ellimist power comes out, Kari takes the power and
absorbs it, disappearing temporarily, and then reappearing.
Instead of being a demon lord fallen fairy queen, her power
changes and she ends up looking more like a fallen angel as she
goes over to Zaine.
Shei-Ling: No... You... Cold-hearted bastard! How could you?!
Vobu said there was still good in you! She yells at Kindron.
Kuo: I can't wait to break free and kill your ass! He says as he
desperately tries to use his darkness to break the gravity hold,
but can't.
Kindron: The gods want to play games... I'm not playing anymore.
They don't want me to be good, they don't want me to be evil...
What else am I supposed to do? Give me a good option and I might
consider it. Until then... I'm done. He says with a cold
expression.
Zaine holds his sword to Kindron, and Kari then takes her sword
out and holds it as well.
Zaine: You made a mistake... Now that you gave me the sword that
kills me, you have nothing that can kill me. He says with a
smile.
Kindron laughs. Kindron: Even if you four attacked me at once,
it would only mean I'd have to try... That's all. I can beat any
one of you. I don't need to kill you... He gets serious and
glares to Zaine and Kari, which makes them flinch. I just need
to prove that there are fates worse than death. He says as he
shines with red corrupted lightning, as his pupils shine bright
red. He creates two dark enhancement gems and throws them to
Zaine and Kari, which surprise them as they catch the gems Those
go into your blood. Don't worry, they won't take you over or
anything... When I return to your timeline, I'll have Fu and
Omega analyze how they interact with you and if they do their
job properly.
Before Kindron can do anything else though, he starts fading
away, disappearing. Kindron: Wait... What's happening? He looks
around, as the two pairs look at him fading away. Shei-ling and
Kuo, both in tears, both desperately attack Kindron, but their
attacks go through him as he was phasing out of their time
space.
Kindron: So... Are we done?! Are you prepared to stop screwing
with me?! He says, yelling into the sky at whoever had sent him
to the timeline.
Zaine: Damn... He says with a sigh. I don't know whether to be
glad or upset... But at least this is the end of Black Sun. I
might let you live... As our new slaves... The new enslavement
collars should be adequate enough for the job. He says with a
smile as he focuses on Shei-Ling and Kuo, who had both lost the
will to fight after they realized they couldn't attack Kindron.
Both had fallen to their knees in despair while Kindron was
fading, knowing they couldn't beat Kari and Zaine with their
good and evil powers. Without Kindron, Vobu or a weapon to kill
Zaine, the two of them knew they were done. Zaine snaps his
fingers, as robots come from the other parts of the castle, two
of which put special tech collars on Shei-Ling and Kuo. Kindron
watches as Zaine snaps his fingers and makes Shei-Ling and Kuo
bow to him, their eyes now dull and lifeless as they were now
under Zaine's control.
Meanwhile, somewhere in a void of white, Raiden Kindron appears.
Kindron looks around, seeing all the different timelines around
him. Kindron: Where the heck is this?
Across from him, the same alternate timeline Kindron who
appeared to V and Father Hei during their travel to other worlds
appears, wearing a white outfit, a black cape and having a
staff.
A. Kindron: So... You choose to doom the timeline rather than
save it? I warned them that was likely to happen... It's
probably what I'd have done in your shoes... You'd think for
beings beyond our dimensions that they'd be smarter. He says
with a sigh. But it was pretty much expected that this would
happen...
Kindron: Who are you? He says as he summons his swords. Are you
responsible for taking me to that time?
A. Kindron: Of course not... I knew how you'd respond. Given
that you went full dictator in the last timeline, I wasn't about
to suspect you wouldn't try in this timeline. I'm just glad you
didn't try to steal both the good and evil powers... But they
put restrictions in place so you wouldn't be able to anyway, so
it didn't matter. He says with a glare to Kindron.
Kindron: I don't care for the power... But I'm done being
used... This little trip wasn't a complete waste of time
though... You gave me a new timeline to use to fuel my power...
And after I kill you, I'm going to take control of this place
for my own ends! He says with a laugh. He goes to attack A.
Kindron, combining his swords into his scythe.
A. Kindron: I was right... You've finally broken. He says with a
sigh. He takes his staff. It seems that our hope to get you on
the right path was for nothing. He says as he dodges Kindron's
attacks. A. Kindron moves to the side and trips Kindron,
knocking him to the ground and putting his staff on Kindron's
throat.
A. Kindron: You aren't strong enough to take this place... Nor
are you strong enough to face what comes next because of what
you've done. He says as he holds Kindron down with his staff,
and then puts his foot on Kindron's chest. You realize what
you've done? You've probably just pissed off a disconnected
timeline deity that's NOT gonna be happy you just had him killed
and his people enslaved. You really screwed up this time... I
thought you at least would have done the job and then
complained... That I could have handled. But this... You realize
how much intervention it's going to take to fix this?! He says
as he puts pressure down on Kindron in anger causing Kindron to
go into light form and try to move away.
Kindron takes his normal form and powers up using black
lightning, and attacks again, angry at the A. Kindron. A.
Kindron manages to avoid Kindron's attacks. and hits him every
so often with his staff, using his power to cause bursts of
energy in Kindron's body to dispel. A. Kindron manages to avoid
Kindron completely, despite limping during the whole battle and
then trips Kindron with the staff and hits him hard in the
chest. The hit causes Kindron to hit the ground hard, his staff
knocked out of his hands and causing Kindron to be momentarily
stunned.
A. Kindron goes over again and holds Kindron from getting up
with his staff, this time poking his staff into Kindron's
pressure point in his left shoulder, causing pain to Kindron as
he tries to break free. A. Kindron: So... do you get it now?
Kindron looks at his alternate self in anger. Kindron: This
doesn't make sense... How does a limped version of me beat me?!
I AM ASCENDED! He yells the last part in anger.
A. Kindron: You're right... You are ascended... But you're still
weak. You gave up something in order to gain your power. I
sacrificed nothing. I pushed myself far beyond my limits and
gained my power through sheer hard work and training. I never
opted for the easy route. That's why my power will beat yours
every time. He says. He then starts to shine with immense spirit
power, in which his calm aura creates a scarlet aura around him
that mixes his light and dark sides together to create a
powerful combined energy that even overpowered Kindron's
ascended energy that Kindron tried to use to free himself. His
aura appears to be spiritual in nature, and causes Kindron to
look in shock. A. Kindron: I didn't even get to try this out on
you... I was kind of hoping you'd be stronger... But it would be
overkill if I used this on you now. Oh well... I guess I'll take
you home.
Kindron: You better kill me... Or I WILL return here and kill
you AND The people behind this! He looks into the void. You
people hear me?! I WILL find you! And I WILL kill you! He says
as he struggles.
A. Kindron: Look at you... You're so blinded by anger that
you've completely lost it. He says to Kindron with a sigh.
Listen... You still have time to turn back before things go too
far... We can repair the damage you've just done. And no... You
won't be able to get back to this timeline. I'm cutting it off
from your timeline and any timeline you have access to. And then
I'll fix it myself. But remember this... You may have lost it
all, but you can still fight your destiny. Don't run down the
path of evil like Crayak wants. You're playing right into his
hands.
Kindron: I'll kill him... We'll see where that fits into his
plans! He says angrily.
A. Kindron: You don't get it, do you? Even doing that, you're
playing into his hands. You're part right... The only way to win
is to not play... But dooming an entire timeline isn't the way
to not play. You really want to p*ss off Crayak and the gods
using you? Stick to the fair and good ruler you used to be and
don't change... There's still power in you. Go back to that old
self and show them that your strongest the way you want to be.
You're too afraid to care for them all after what happened with
Sarah and others like her... I know because I was too. He says
to Kindron, who had stopped struggling and was just listening at
this point since he knew he couldn't break free.
Kindron: I don't care. I'll kill anyone who uses me... Because
I'm done with everything.
A. Kindron: If that's the case, then run off and be hermit on a
mountain somewhere... Or go back to your world and live under
the Order's rule. He looks to Kindron seriously. Depression
isn't easy to conquer... But it is possible. The only way I've
found that you can conquer it is to fight it with everything you
have... And when it overwhelms you... Your friends can help you.
But if you turn them away, you can't be surprised when they turn
on you. He says to Kindron. He then leans closer to Kindron and
looks him in the eyes. You fought Dark Raiden for a reason. You
haven't let him out again for a reason... Let your anger loose
and maybe you can just let him out and be done with it. But
don't let him run loose in your head like he is now.
Kindron: Fine... You've made your point... Now let me go back.
He says with a sigh, having calmed down. If you want to fix that
timeline, then fine... He says, having given up fighting. I
suspect this here is what you wanted right? He says, glaring at
Kindron.
A. Kindron: It is... I wanted to kick your teeth in for a
while... I just couldn't travel to your world without their
permission... But you being here, I won't lie, I wanted this...
I wanted to bash your face in and make you realize you're being
a child. You know why Vobu calls you "Crybaby" right? Did you
figure that out?
Kindron: Let me guess? It's because he thinks I'm a child?
A. Kindron: Something like that. In the last timeline, he said
evil you was always sounding like a child throwing a tantrum.
The name just stuck to him and now I think he's going to call
you that in every timeline. He says with a chuckle.
Kindron: I don't care. Send me back to my time. I'm sure you
people won't try this with me again right?
A. Kindron: That's not up to me. He moves his staff off Kindron
and starts walking. Kindron gets up and follows him as A.
Kindron walks him over to his timeline. If it were, I'd have
honestly done it differently. I'd have gone myself and warned
you guys of all the timeline possibilities. But they have
thinking far beyond mine... I think this was to show you the
consequences of your actions, and maybe they thought I'd show
you another path.
Kindron studies A. Kindron, and watches him limp as they walk.
Kindron: So... Where do our paths cross? And where do they
differ? Are you my possible future?
A. Kindron: No... I'm a different timeline altogether. I'm a
timeline where V never got injured by that guy who attacked you
guys during the battle with Mecha Sonic. They sent someone to my
timeline to save V. Another Hei... One that was from a different
timeline altogether. You're one of the timelines that spawned
from letting things happen.
Kindron: Who are "they"?
A. Kindron: I'm afraid I can't answer that... They don't want
any of you to know about them or they say you'll come after them
and then the entire timeline system will destabilize. He
explains.
Kindron: I see... Not the answer I wanted, but more or less the
answer I expected. He says with a sigh.
A. Kindron: Alright... We're here. He says as he stops at the
timeline gate that would send Kindron back home.
Kindron: I take it this is it... He sighs and looks to A.
Kindron as he walks by. So... You've given me something to think
about... But that doesn't mean I'm going back on what I plan to
do. I'm not going to abandon the group I've created... And I
will destroy the gods that use me in their games. But I will
focus on making sure Crayak isn't the one that gets the last
laugh. And after that... I will find a way back here to fight
you again... And kill those people using us. I don't care if
they think they're hotshots the universe can't live without...
Crayak and the Ellimist have that opinion of themselves too, but
it's apparently possible to kill them now. He says before he
walks by and walks through the gate.
A. Kindron sighs as Kindron leaves. A. Kindron: Finally... So
glad that's over.
As A. Kindron looks into the void, he hears two voices, a male
and female voice.
Female: So... It went as we predicted... He seems a bit more
calm now.
Male: I still think it would have been easier to eliminate him.
A. Kindron: Maybe... But it would have fixed nothing... At
least, that's how I see it. At least this way, we have a chance
to try and create a better outcome for this timeline.
Female: Well... It seems we are going to need to be careful. It
was a gamble involving an ascended being... Let alone one as
unstable as him.
Male: We're banking on your judgement, Kindron... If this
doesn't help push him down the right path, you know you'll be
the one to blame.
A. Kindron: I know... And I'm ready for that. He knows now what
he could become... Strength is what he understands right now,
and he saw it in me. Now that he has an example, I think it
might be possible for his V and her friends to save him... When
the time is right.
Female: You mortals and your "timing"... Oh well... You mortals
are bound to time like rats in a cage.
A. Kindron: We do the best with what we got... That's all any of
us can do. That's why we work together. Because alone we're
weak. He says as he walks away. Well... There's plenty of work
to do. I guess I should start the preparations for the next
timeline... I hope that we won't have to mess with this one
anymore, but I could be wrong. He says with a sigh.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world, Vobu suddenly stops as Raiden
Kindron had returned to his time, and takes in the new
information. Since he was walking with Zehra, Zehra noticed him
stopping and looks to him. Zehra: Lord Vobu?
Vobu wipes the tears from his face. Vobu: Shei-Ling... Kuo...
Damn him... He says to himself. He starts shaking in anger as
dark power starts to form around him. Zehra jumps back in shock.
Vobu: Zehra... We're going to see the Snake... I'm done with
this time traveling BS. It ends here, even if I have to kill the
evil crybaby... He says darkly as he tries to contain his dark
power.
Zehra stops at the mention of the word "Snake" Zehra: Are you
sure that's a good idea, Lord Vobu? I don't like it. What will
he ask? What price will he demand?
Vobu: Well... We'll see. It's obvious I can't stop what's to
come with just you guys anymore, and I need his future vision if
we're gonna have any hope... Our only hope is that he can tell
us how we can survive what's to come, and not turn the world
into a war-torn mess. Three timelines... And none of them have a
happy ending. I can't avoid it any longer. He says with a sigh.
Get ready... This won't be pleasant... We're going to have to
talk to Danae... But I guess now you're also going to have meet
V and Hei... This was a lot sooner than I wanted to meet V and
Hei, but something has to be done or we're gonna head towards
yet another terrible future... And I don't think the crybaby is
going to tell them what happened in that future.
Zehra: Why should we even bother? They're not our alies?
Vobu: Because... You guys won't survive what's to come... And
the crybaby got me killed in the timeline he was in, and got my
friends... He stops and sighs. He's a threat to this world...
Not just now, but the future too. All these timelines have one
thing in common... It's the crybaby's decision that changes them
for better or worse. So... If they won't do anything, I'm
setting up a counter offensive to kill the brat... And maybe I
can try and find away that my people don't have to die for a
fourth time...
Zehra: This isn't going to go well, is it?
Vobu: Nope... It never does... Not when he's involved... He says
with a sigh.
