       RP Story: Kindron's Haunting Past

       )
I am Kindron Darkfire. I was not always in a pretty boy human
form, as my son puts it. I used to be the kind of creature
people would look on with fear. It was rather strange for
someone like me to be a supernatural hunter. When I was young, I
always wore a black cloak and a wolf mask to hide my face. I
would suppress my tail and wings, but I could never take a full
human form back then. My adopted father taught me many things,
but there was one thing that stood out: People fear the
unnatural. And I was everything unnatural I could be. A
werewolf, vampire hybrid who was raised in a church and taught
to hunt monsters. Who says life doesn't have a sense of humor,
       right?
This was something that happened to me long ago. Back then, I
made a name for myself as a supernatural hunter. After I got rid
of the Darkfire Blade, I started using my father's... Well, not
my father, but he was practically a father to me since my real
father thought I was dead... Whole other story there, I'm
sure... But back to my tale.
Back then, I was using the sword of the supernatural hunter who
raised me. He was the one that gave me Shinso, and to this day,
I feel like his presence whenever I hold the sword. Even Shinso
seems to feel his presence at times. But again... That might be
another story. Anyway, this was back when I was hunting
supernaturals. After my group had disbanded, since Constantin
ran off after I accidently killed his sister (Yet another
story), I was working with another supernatural hunter, since we
were both hired by the same person.
When I got to the village, he and I seemed to arrive at the same
time. He was on horseback, and had been putting his horse away
in a nearby barn of people who offered to look after him while
the man was hunting. The man noticed me almost immediately.
Hunter: Well well... If it isn't Wolf Mask. He says as he walked
up and pat me on the back, looking up at me since I was taller
than him by a fair amount. I'm pretty tall in my werepyre form,
and that was something I had to deal with back then.
Also, Wolf Mask was my hunter title back then. That's just what
people called me because I wore a wolf mask to cover my face,
and a black outfit with a black cloak to pretty much cover every
part of my body so no one could see my werepyre features. Every
supernatural hunter typically called each other by a nickname
since most of us kept our identities secret to keep people from
figuring out who we were and then attacking us since that was a
       major problem with supernatural hunting.
Me: So... They called you, huh Cowboy? That was what I called my
friend, Nathan Harris-Walker, who was known as the Fang Hunter.
He had a real cowboy gimmick, but you gotta remember that this
was back during what some people consider the "Old West" time
period... Yeah... I lived through that time firsthand. It's not
like the movies, trust me. At least not the area we were in.
This was more of a village of people living in the forest, a
pretty dangerous place since we supernatural hunters get called
there at least once a month when random supernaturals try to
       take up residence nearby.
Nathan: So... I take it they called you too? I was hoping to go
it alone, but I guess two of us will get this done faster.
Me: I agree. I said simply.
Nathan: Well... There's a fang somewhere in the forest, so let's
go kill it. He says taking out his guns. We both started walking
       into the forest.
Nathan was a human, and he hated both vampires and werewolves. I
never told him I was a werepyre. He never saw my real face,
because I knew how he'd react. His motto was always: "If it's
got fangs, it's got to go". I had fangs... So he would have had
to end me. At least, that's what I thought back then. It was
hard for me at that time considering everyone who accepted my
real identity were either dead or refusing to talk to me. At
least using the Wolf Mask persona meant I could interact with
       people.
Nathan: So... Why are you here? It sounds like you weren't
called based on the people's reaction back there. He says to me.
He was just as observant about situations as I am, and honestly
he's good at reading people. Even without supernatural senses,
he read me better than I could read him with my supernatural
       senses.
Me: I think a vampire I'm hunting down is here. Don't worry...
I'm here for myself. I won't take your reward. You can claim the
kill once we're done. I said to him. I knew he was only in this
for the money, at least, that's what he likes to tell people.
His motto and his love for money both tell different stories, so
no one really knows what he really thinks. I suspect it's not
about either, but I always suspected that there was a hatred for
supernaturals, and I think he was out to drown out his sorrow in
killing monsters. He used to say that he never felt more human
than when he was fighting real monsters. And now one was walking
right next to him as an ally... You gotta love how ironic life
       can be sometimes.
Nathan: It's not like you to be hunting without a contract. This
a personal matter? He asked me, pretty much seeing through me
once again. I was either really easy to read or he was just good
       at picking up on things.
Me: Yeah... The vampire, Safiria... She is the one that got my
family killed. I said simply. I didn't go into specifics, and at
the time I didn't even know the full story. At the time I
thought my father was a werewolf and my mother was a vampire,
and Safira was just jealous of the guy my mother was with.
Safiria never denied it... But I found out later when I met my
real father that my memories were all messed up. But Safiria WAS
behind what happened. My Uncle Sirion helped fill in the gaps my
father couldn't. Apparently, the Darkwolf clan and Darkfire Clan
were pretty close while my mom and dad were together. But
Safiria started doing dark arts to provoke the Darkwolf clan,
knowing they hated dark arts. Apparently, Safiria killed a few
Darkwolf clan members and provoked a war between the Darkwolf
and Darkfire groups. All I knew though at the time was Safiria
was the reason my family wasn't around and why I almost died.
       Nathan: So... It's revenge then?
Me: Pretty much. I said, not trying to sugar-coat the fact I was
       not there for being nice.
Nathan: Isn't the way of God to forgive? He says to me. Yeah...
I knew he was right. I let my hatred for Safiria get the better
of me, and I know that now.
Me: Yeah... But that doesn't mean I don't feel anger because of
her. I said to him. Yeah, Safiria was the one who always got my
blood boiling. I could never pin her down, her dark arts skills
were stupidly able to overpower me, and she loved taunting me.
Nathan: Apparently, people in the forest are dying... They're
too scared to go investigate the bodies since anyone who does is
       almost instantly attacked.
Me: The bodies are bait... They eat them, then use their corpses
to catch new food... I said in thought, but also in confusion.
       This wasn't right.
Nathan: I take it this isn't your vampire's style? He says,
       noticing my confusion.
Me: No... She usually isn't afraid to just pop out and dark arts
her prey... She's got a pretty damn good paralysis dark art she
uses to stun people when she's wanting a drink. I said to him.
It was important he know what we were getting into.
Nathan: Then we're walking into a trap... And it's possible it's
not who we think. Great. He said as he had his guns ready.
Me: Wait... I stopped and pulled out a few paper charms. I had
to do something because I remembered Safira had a telekinetic
dark art, and I didn't want Nathan to get hit with it like I
had. I put two charms on his guns, and one on his body. That way
he wouldn't be able to be affected. Luckily I had special gloves
on that made it so I didn't have to worry about holy effects. I
had to in order to have holy items on me like my sword, since
this was before I "purified" myself a few years ago at this
       point.
Nathan: You said this vampire has dark arts? Will these work? He
says as he looks at them.
Me: They will. My sword has one under the hilt. She hasn't been
able to manipulate it yet. I replied as I walked catiously as we
were close to the bodies. Once there, we both leaned down to
examine the body. We noticed that someone had bit out the
       throat, which was fairly obvious.
Nathan: So... Werewolf definitely. Not a vampire. He said. I
started examining the body. I could smell the scent of a
werewolf. But Safira's scent was there too. I didn't want to
look suspicious going right for where I smelled her scent, but I
looked over the body before pulling the sleeve back on the body.
On the skin near the veins were puncture marks. Vampire puncture
marks. It was hard to suck blood out of an arm's veins, but
       possible.
Me: So... I take it Safiria attacked from the front, and the
werewolf snuck up behind him... He held up his arm to block
Safiria's teeth, and couldn't stop the werewolf from tearing out
his throat. Now THAT sounds more like Safiria's style. She's
never afraid to meet someone face to face.
Nathan: ****... A vampire and a werewolf? That's pretty rare
that they work together. He says as he looks around, waiting for
       them to be attacked.
Me: Safiria usually works alone... I don't know that I've ever
seen her work with someone... But it's definitely her. I
recognize her work. I said. I knew it would be suspicious, but I
didn't care. Chances were that if Safiria found us, she'd reveal
to Nathan that I was a werepyre, so I wasn't trying too hard to
       pretend to be human.
Nathan: So what now? I feel like they're watching us. He said,
looking around. It's too quiet... Even the birds and insects
aren't making noise. We both knew what that meant. That usually
happened when a predator was near. I get ready to draw my sword.
I knew a fight was incoming. But Safiria's dark arts got me
again... I couldn't smell anything further than Nathan. I could
smell the body, myself and Nathan, and that was it.
Me: She's here... She's using dark arts to conceal herself. He
said as I drew my sword. I held it toward the trees that were
somewhat south of us where the deeper parts of the forest were.
Shoot to kill... Shinso! That was the incarnation to use
Shinso's second special ability. The first ability was
lightning, but the second was it's ability to extend. I tried to
       spear where I thought a werewolf could hide. I knew I wouldn't
hit Safiria, but I was hoping it would open me up so that one of
them would attack me from behind while the sword was extended.
Luckily, Nathan knew my plan immediately because he went from
watching me to suddenly turning back and shooting at the
werewolf that tried to attack me from behind. The sword blade
came back and returned to normal. The werewolf was hit by the
bullet in the stomach, but he didn't seem to care as he went to
attack Nathan. Nathan moved away from me and engaged the
werewolf. When I tried to go help Nathan when I swung my sword,
Safiria dropped down and blocked my sword with a dark art
darkness sword, dropping down in front of me.
Me: Enlisting help, Safiria? I said to her, taunting her. At
this point I didn't care if she revealed what I was. If I could
kill her, then that would be the end of it and I'm sure Nathan
could handle one little werewolf. If Nathan wanted to kill me, I
wouldn't care as long as I got Safiria first.
Safiria: I thought he could help me understand how you fight...
But your weakness isn't the mutts, it's that human you pretend
to be! The mutts are undignified, but at least they're pretty
useful when tamed. She said, taunting me back.
Me: You... tamed it? Dammit! I tried to break free to warn
Nathan about it being under her control, but Safiria saw her
opening and caught me in a paralysis dark art. I gave my charms
to Nathan, not that I could wear them anyway since it would
literally hurt me. She used her telekinesis and threw me into
the tree. When I hit the tree and could feel my senses reorient,
Safiria was standing over me, and my mask was broken on the
ground. I pretty much much knew the deception was over. I
growled on instinct and tried to use Shinso on her. She blocked
me immediately, and knocked me back.
Before she could hit me again, Nathan shot her in the back 4
times with his two guns, which made her disappear in a panic. I
feel to my knees, still somewhat disoriented from her dark art.
I was prepared for Nathan to kill me at this point.
Strangely, Nathan ran towards me and helped me up. Nathan: You
okay, Wolf Mask? He says, as he grabs my masks two biggest
pieces and hands them to me.
Me: You seem... Pretty calm... Isn't this the part where you
take out another fang? I said. I shouldn't have tempted fate,
but I was curious at this point.
Nathan: No rule that says I can't save you for last... He says
as he looks to me with a smile. I couldn't see it well, but I
knew he was smiling. I was actually surprised. I thought that he
would hate me instantly, and you know the movies that's usually
what happens. But he pretty much accepted me right away. I
couldn't believe it... At least... that's what I felt until he
       jumped and threw me aside.
The next thing I knew I was forcing myself to my feet with my
sword, trying to figure out what happened, and then I heard
Nathan screaming in pain. When I saw him, the werewolf had bit
into his throat. But the werewolf didn't get the chance to enjoy
tearing out his throat, because Nathan immediately put a bullet
into the werewolf's brain when it bit him, causing it to fall to
the ground dead immediately. When he fell to the ground, I ran
over, still orienting myself as I went to him, and cut off the
werewolf's head for good measure, since not all werewolves would
       die with a brain bullet.
Nathan: Damn... He got me good. He said as he reached for his
guns. He tried to load a bullet into his gun, his hands shaky as
he was losing a lot of blood. He was on his knees and I tried to
help him to his feet, but he couldn't stand.
Me: I can heal you... Hold on. I said as I got ready to use my
healing magic. My injuries had already healed thanks to my
Darkfire regeneration, but I could use my dark magic to heal
Nathan. To my surprise, Nathan stopped me by grabbing my hands.
Nathan: No. If you heal me... You know what will happen. I got
bit, so that means all that's left is one thing...
I stopped, realizing what he was saying. He was bit, and those
that got bit by werewolves turned into werewolves.
Me: If I don't, you'll die! I said to him. You can live as a
werewolf just fine! I can teach you how to get by!
Nathan just chuckles to himself. Nathan: You know how it goes...
If it's got fangs, it's got to go... I'm just killing another
fang... Don't worry, Wolf Mask. I know you'll carry on for me.
Just don't die until after you kill them all, okay? I want to
make sure you're the last fang. I don't know how he got a hold
of my sword, but he had managed to spear his chest through
before I even realized what had happened. Nathan fell to the
ground, dead almost immediately after spearing his own heart. He
was already on the verge due to blood loss, but the holy blade
       to the heart killed him.
I must have been pretty damn selfish... Because my thought was
that he died because he found out about my true identity and
accepted me... I felt like it was a death sentence for people
once they had accepted me that they always seem to get killed
       somehow by a supernatural.
So that was the story of Nathan, the Fang Hunter... I only
prayed he had gone to Heaven... Because it wasn't till that
moment of his death, when I realized his determination wasn't
about hatred or anything like that. Even as a supernatural, I
realized that my senses were not nearly as sharp as I thought.
Sometimes there are sides to people we don't understand. Nathan
wasn't some money-grubbing jerk like people thought, and he
wasn't hating supernaturals like some others thought (myself
included). I realized at that moment that he was just trying to
make the world a better place. His philosophy of killing fangs
wasn't about killing vampires and werewolves. It was about
protecting people from dangerous creatures like that. He was
only out to protect people, and would rather die a human, than
live as a werewolf... As much as I was slightly annoyed that he
wouldn't consider the option and what the life of a werewolf
could give him. I rather enjoy being part werewolf... And this
was before I found out I was descended from a bad-ass alchemist.
But... That's just me. Yeah... A little prideful there.
But still... That was the time I started to feel cursed... That
anyone that learned the truth about me and accepted me would
die. I buried Nathan and went back to the village. Luckily, the
people who had put up Nathan's horse said they'd take care of
it, and I was okay with that. After that, I flat-out left to
track down Safiria. Nathan was another of her victims I was
going to make her answer for. It wasn't my place to judge her
even if I did, but I damn well was gonna send her to meet the
       one that WOULD judge her...
Part 2 (Current Day): Encounter with Eric
       Fight Theme: Panick Control (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jXgjhTbsXo
       )
I've been thinking a lot about the past ever since I found out
about Eric being alive again... I don't know why I remembered
the curse I felt I had. It doesn't bode well considering I'm
about to execute a plan with Akiba. We had managed to track down
Eric, and I was about to try and capture him if I could. I've
grown a lot, and I know he has to, but Akiba and I had a plan
for taking him down. The last time I was around Eric was when he
killed Acillia. Luckily she's alive now because I used dark arts
to bring her back... Not something I'm proud of, but something
that I did. Sometimes I feel like I'm still cursed that people
who know me will die. Acillia's died at least twice that I know
of since she's known me, and I'm worried it might happen again,
especially now that Eric's back. I'm only lucky that I don't
think he knows yet that I brought Acillia back. If he's been
alive for a while, then I assume that he hasn't come looking for
her because he doesn't know about her.
Akiba was confronting Eric. After the incident with Chelsea,
Akiba wanted to take down Eric and the other two that attacked
her, but the reason we did this was to get info on Nightshade. I
was confident that we could use Eric. I knew he wouldn't help
us, and that, even if we tortured him, he wouldn't reveal where
Nightshade was hiding out. So, our plan was that we were going
to go through the motions of an interrogation. Akiba was
confident he could intimidate Eric. It's strange, but they both
seem to have a talent for words and manipulating people. Akiba
doesn't do it much, but when he's interrogating an opponent,
I've heard he's really good at getting people to talk, enough
that his comrades say he's never failed in getting someone to
talk. But I know better. So I developed a tracker spell I'm
going to place on Eric without him knowing. A little tracker
spell that will trace him back to Nightshade and tell us right
       where they're hiding.
Heh.. Like it's gonna be that easy... I can't wait to see how
this goes south... Yeah... I know I'm jinxing the mission
thinking that way, but come on. This was too perfect from the
get-go. Akiba saw it as a trap, which is why I'm hiding in the
shadows, watching him talk to Eric. Right now they're talking
about Eric surrendering, and Eric isn't about to. Akiba had his
pistol pointed at him with his knife in his other hand, in full
gear that was resistant to werewolf and vampire bites, complete
with his face mask and sunglasses that he used to protect his
face. I was hiding in the alley, just in case, disguising myself
using magic. I learned some fun tricks from the alternate
Constantine using spirit magic. And some fun tricks using
alchemy. Since we knew it was trap, when someone jumped in to
help him, I was going to jump in and handle it.
I was watching from the sidelines. I could barely hear what was
going on, but I knew something was up just before Akiba reacted
       to something.
Akiba: Dammit! SNIPER! He yelled before jumping back. However, a
sniper shot went right through his shoulder. That yell was for
me. Time to kick into action. Before I got there, another man
showed up, this guy was in a black biker suit... Reminded me of
Jason so much. Except this guy had a black rabbit helmet. Eric
went to attack Akiba, while I stood in the black rabbit helmet
guy's way. I used a magnetic shield to block him when he tried
to shoot, and the bullets hit my shield and reflected back at
him. He dodged pretty quick, and then turned to me.
Man: So... You're one of his friends huh?
       Me: That's right.
I got to hand it to Akiba... His fighting skills aren't
exaggerated... Even with a bullet that had gone all the way
through his shoulder, he was still fighting evenly with Eric.
That was something even I had trouble with last time we right
because of his FBI training. But Akiba is a special ops group
trained soldier, so it makes sense. Akiba claims he was trained
by the best in close combat in his world, so I guess I shouldn't
be surprised he's able to fight Eric.
I went to attack, but the guy had wrist guns under his jacket
that he was firing at me. I couldn't just get close. I used
Decaforce to block the attacks, and used Silfarion form for it's
speed to avoid the bullets. Damn guy was good. He got me a few
times in my shoulder and once he got a few in my legs, I
couldn't move as quickly. But a wind slash from Silfarion made
him stop and dodge to the side. His sniper rifle was sitting on
his back. His guns on his wrist started firing at me again.
Those guns were annoying... They kept firing at me. I couldn't
move as fast, and I couldn't get close because he seemed to be
really good at hitting me when I got close. The only way this
was going to end was if I disabled those guns.
Me: Jikardor! I said my spell and fired a magnetic spell to a
lamp post nearby. His guns were metal so he would suddenly find
all the metals in his body drawn to the pole I just magnetized.
Man: Damn! That's annoying! He said as he tried to resist the
pull. Then he did something I didn't expect. He unhooked his
guns and let the guns go to the pole. His helmet didn't though?
Must have been made of some kind of non magnetic material even
though it looked metal... Guess it was probably a shined carbon
substance. It definitely wasn't heavy as it looked.
The man attacked me, taking out a knife, and I used my sword to
block it. Guy was good too... I couldn't believe this guy was
outmanuevering my Shingetsu style. Not that I'm a master of it
or anything... But he is getting by me every swing and got a few
       slashes on me.
I jumped back to figure out what to do. The knife wasn't
affected by the spell? Damn... He must have figured out a way to
make some of his items non-magnetic.
Me: Zaker! I said, trying to fire a blast of lightning. I was
trying to analyze his movement more than anything so it was my
weakest spell. He actually ran at me, slid under it and slashed
out my ankle, which made me stumble and fall to the side. I got
to my feet and got ready again, holding my Decaforce sword.
You're good... I said to him. I couldn't deny the guy had skill.
His fighting style was pretty damn good. Even years as a
supernatural hunter and even fighting in other conflicts wasn't
enough for me to keep up with this guy.
Man: You're not bad yourself. You're not human right? What are
       you?
       Me: Werepyre.
Man: No kidding... He said in surprise. You're pretty good. It's
too bad we gotta do this... it's nothing personal. Just
       business.
My brain stopped. What he just said triggered something I HAD to
       ask.
Me: Who are you? Under that mask?
Man: I wish I could tell ya, my friend... But you're not gonna
live long enough to care. You're just another fang I have to
kill right now. He said to me. There it was... I knew what it
       was now.
Me: Hold on... Cowboy? I said in confusion. I was really
confused now. This guy was the Fang Hunter. Who should be dead,
       by the way.
The man stopped in his tracks, and almost dropped his knife.
Man: Wolf Mask?! He says in surprise.
Me: It is you! What the hell are you doing with Nightshade?! I
said in anger. Why would he be working with Nightshade?! This
was the guy that would rather die as a human than live as a
       werewolf!
Nathan: Damn... Now I gotta kill ya... Sorry, man. I don't want
to, that's just the job. Zenrael's paying me to help Eric
capture some hunters. He said as he attacked again. Weird. Why
would he tell me that? I tried to avoid him and knock him to the
side. However, when I saw Akiba flying beside us into a nearby
car, and looked over to see his injuries, I knew we were in
       trouble.
I tried move over to attack Eric when he ran buy, but Nathan
stabbed my bandaged arm with his knife. And it didn't hurt
because it was a knife in the arm... Well... That was part of
it... But the scream in pain wasn't because of that... It was
the knife itself. My arm absorbed the dark arts in it. The blade
melted immediately, and Nathan jumped back alongside Eric.
Nathan: I got the weirdest sense of deja vu right now... He said
jokingly. But we both knew what it was. I was in his spot when I
fell to the ground. He knocked the werewolf away to come and
help me. That's why he immediately knifed me when I went for
Eric, because he knew that I was doing exactly what he tried to
do in our situation back then. At least I definitely new it was
       Nathan at this point.
I was angry at this point, so I resorted to my final attack. Me:
Baouzaker! I said, as my spell released a large lightning dragon
which went and attacked Eric and Nathan. I needed to end this
fight now... My arm was on fire. That arm isn't bandaged because
of injuries. It's bandaged to contain the dark energy that seeps
from it. It's been getting worse ever since that incident with
the consumers, and now it was making me start to black out from
       pain.
Nathan: Well... You've gotten a lot stronger, Wolf Mask. He says
before teleporting himself and Eric away before the lightning
       dragon could hit them.
Me: Yeah... You too apparently. I said as they disappeared. I
ran over and grabbed Akiba. I couldn't concentrate on healing
right now. I tried and my magic was just too out there.
Strange... My wounds from his dark arts knife and bullets hadn't
recovered either. I looked at the wounds, and realized there was
no bullet in them. It was dark energy! Nathan was using dark
arts now?! I tried to teleport us back, but the pain in my arm
was so bad I couldn't even do that.
While I was trying to teleport us, I saw someone standing over
us I didn't expect. My alternate universe son, Zack Fair. He
must have been on backup's backup or something. Thank god he was
here, because I couldn't teleport us.
Zack teleported us back to Hellsing. He immediately called for
medics while he focused on stabilizing Akiba, who had lost a lot
of blood. I guess he did well for a bit, but I guess that bullet
wound must have slowed him enough that Eric almost got him. He's
probably only alive right now because Eric wanted him to be.
Eric probably could have killed him, but didn't. I'm guessing
Nathan didn't kill me when he had the chance either. At least,
that's what I hope... Luckily, Zack healed Akiba while a healer
healed my somewhat minor injuries after purifying the darkness
from the injuries. They couldn't purify my bandaged arm, but
they did heal it. Of course, I knew they couldn't purify it.
Even Acillia can only purify it temporarily, and that was with a
spell she got from Clair specifically to purify presences that
Clair meant her to be able to use on my arm.
After they healed me, I let them take Akiba to the infirmary. It
was obvious that they got us. Nathan and Eric together? Even I
wasn't prepared for that. I still can't believe it. After
everyone left, I left and went back to my room. I barely
remember the walk there, I was in so much pain. I grabbed a new
containment bandage spell and put new bandages on my arm. I'd
have to have Acillia purify my arm again when she got back.
Luckily, she had Zack, our child who was still a baby, with her.
Yeah, we have an alternate Zack who's an adult, but Acillia just
had a child that we named Zack since we found out that's what we
named our son. We found out from time travelers that Zack exists
in our future too, so we went with it. At least Acillia and I
didn't have to agonize over finding a name. As for the
bandages... At least the containment bandage worked better. The
pain was at a manageable level. It hurt like hell though...
Ever since that fight with the consumers, the darkness in my arm
had been getting stronger, and getting stronger faster than
normal. Acillia can usually keep my arm's darkness from getting
bad, but there was usually a limit it would hit. Now it seems to
be getting stronger the more time it's given. The previous
limits of how much darkness my arm would emit went out the
window, and now my arm is holding enough darkness in it that
Acillia has to purify my arm far more often. It's strange, but I
can feel the darkness getting stronger. I can't worry about that
now... Once I wrapped up my arm and made sure it was nice and
snug, I went over and sat down. I had to think.
So much was going through my head... If Nathan's with
Nightshade now, I have to wonder what changed him to the point
he's working with them. He mentioned Zenrael, that angel who
pulled the dark spirit out of Kendrix. Why did he volunteer that
information? Was he trying to give me a hint? Was he forced to
work for Zenrael? No... He mentioned getting paid. I need to
confront him again. I need to find out what happened. But if he
and Nathan are working for Zenrael, then that means that Zenrael
has two people from my past that are supposed to be dead. Is
this guy following me or something? Surely that can't be it
right... Or I think he'd have come after us sooner. I think Hei
and Kendrix said it's our father that Zenrael doesn't like. How
did he get his hooks into Nathan? Eric is easy. Eric probably
joined him for revenge against me. I bet Eric is trying to
figure out how to make me suffer.
While I was thinking, Acillia walked in with the little Zack. We
have been calling him Baby Zack. Acillia: Kindron? What
happened? Akiba looks awful! She said as she looked me over and
saw the blood on my outfit from my injuries, which were now
healed. Zack looked at me with worry, making baby sounds as he
tried to get my attention. I pat him on the head softly.
Me: I'm fine. Just trying to figure out how to handle things...
The mission with Akiba was a bust. We fell right for their trap.
I looked at her. It was time to tell her. A moment I was
dreading. I took Baby Zack, who was happy to see me. Listen...
There's something you need to know.
Acillia knew immediately this was serious, which I knew because
she sat down immediately. She said nothing and waited for me to
collect my thoughts. Even Baby Zack was looking at me curiously.
Me: Eric is alive again. I think he's working with that fallen
angel, Zenrael, my father warned us about. I don't know if he
knows you're alive, but I'm certain he'll come after me at
       least.
Acillia almost swore immediately, but held back by covering her
mouth. We knew Baby Zack was smart, considering how smart Hei's
and Raven's kids were. We knew Zack was probably just as smart,
so we tried not to swear around him, because we didn't want him
to pick up those swear words. Acillia: So... Eric's working with
       this fallen angel?
Me: It seems so. I don't know the details, but it seems like
they're really closely connected to Nightshade right now. So,
Nightshade now has two more people that probably want my head.
Acillia: "Two" more? She asked me curiously.
Me: Yeah... Today I encountered an old supernatural hunter
friend of mine... He's working with this Zenrael too. It's
because of what he said to me that I know Eric is working with
Zenrael, not with Nightshade like I thought. I wanted to confirm
it was definitely him before I told you. Though... that doesn't
mean Nightshade doesn't have a major core cast that wants
revenge on me for the old Order of the Dragon days...
Acillia: How bad is it? Be honest. She says as she takes Zack
back, since I think she saw I was having pain in my arm still.
Me: The situation or the arm? I said jokingly when she reached
for my arm to try to feel the bandage in order to analyze how
       bad the darkness underneath was.
       Acillia: Both.
Me: Well... There are no fewer than probably 10 high level
supernaturals running around London that specifically want me
dead now counting Eric and Nathan...
Acillia: Wait... Nathan... Wasn't he that cowboy you mentioned
you worked with a few times? The one they called the Fang
       Hunter?
Me: Yeah. That's him. He's now running around looking like a
black rabbit helmet version of Jason from Kendrix's group.
Except I get the feeling he's an assassin now considering he
sniped Akiba... And he had guns on his wrists. He also talks
more like a bounty hunter than a supernatural hunter as he is
       now.
Acillia: Great. Guess that means you should tell Integra and the
       others about this guy.
Me: I'm going to... Once my arm stops throbbing. I said as I
pulled the bandages loose. The darkness was even stronger.
Acillia purified it, and even Zack copied Acillia's power so he
could use the power and then started purifying it. Once they
purified it, I put the bandages back on and then I hugged her
and Baby Zack. Baby Zack's main ability right now, besides his
transformation into a baby wolf creature, is his power copy. He
can copy powers by touching someone, which is something he does
to me and Acillia. But luckily, he knows not to copy certain
abilities. He refuses to copy Acillia's demonic abilities, and
flat out won't touch my bandaged arm, which I'm glad he isn't
trying to. The dark arts I used that made my arm full of
darkness is not something I want Zack to try to copy. Little
guy's gonna surpass you soon, Acillia. I said jokingly, which
made Zack squeal and clap happily. We knew Zack understood us
when we talked since he seemed to respond to what we say. That's
why we try to watch what we say around him.
Well... I may be cursed as hell with bad luck... But there are
certain happiness-es that I get from time to time. And this is
one of them. Though I'm not looking forward to the swearing I'll
endure when I tell Integra what happened and how we couldn't
capture Eric and how a high level supernatural hunter/bounty
hunter/assassin (whatever Nathan is now) is now, for some
reason, working with Nightshade. Guess this is what I get for
asking how a mission can go wrong...
       End.
