Past RP: Vin and Rei's Revival

(Closed for Special Forces to start)
A few months ago.
It had been almost a month since V had gone to the future and
gotten a cure for the nanovirus Rei and Vin were under, and
during that time, the doctors had been trying to make sure that
Vin and Rei wouldn't suffer serious side effects from both the
cure and the cryogenic process that had been used to freeze
them. Currently, it was coming time to revive them, and some of
the major Special Forces people had been called to the secret
lab where they had been doing their research, since it had come
time to let everyone know that Vin and Rei were okay. V and the
American Special Forces had been called, with Shark Fujishiro
showing up as well, since Dragunov and Viktor were still in the
infirmary getting ready to undergo cybernetic surgery and
reconstruction.
Once V and been called, Vin and Dark Vin had let her know that
they were going to go back to Vin's mind so that they could be
there when they were resurrected.
The actual resurrection done before the group arrived had gone
exactly according to plan, and Vin and Rei were both revived
successfully. After they got up, Doktor looks to them.
Doktor: How do you two feel?
Vin looks at them, her vision blurry. Vin: Why can't I see? What
happened to my vision? She says, confused.
Kalinka walks over and hands Vin a pair of glasses. Kalinka: The
virus damaged parts of your brains... It's damage we can't
really fix without cybernetic surgery. You guys were past the
point of no return and the nanovirus was doing permanent brain
damage. Luckily it had just started. For you Vin, that part of
your brain that processes sight, so your vision is a little
blurry without something to focus your vision, aka the need for
glasses.
Once Vin puts on her glasses, Vin looks around. Vin: Well this
is different... It's strange though... My senses with Magic
Sense are actually better. She says.
As she talks, Dark Vin appears in mortal form. Now that Vin was
in mortal form, Dark Vin was able to take mortal form as well
thanks to the two's connection. She looks around and then looks
to Kalinka. Dark Vin: Hey... Got another pair of those glasses?
Vin: It's okay. She's my other half. Give her glasses if you
have them. She says to Kalinka, who was confused by the sudden
appearance of Dark Vin.
However, it wasn't just Dark Vin's appearance, but now two Rei's
were present too. The first was the classic Rei, who now felt
like he had pure positive power, while the other Rei was pure
negative power. Both had intense spirit power, but Rei and the
other Rei seemed less bothered by their awakening since they
weren't suffering loss of sight.
Rei: So what is my problem? What did I suffer? He asks Kalinka
curiously.
Kalinka: Well... Rei, you suffered a loss of computational
abilities. You're not going to be able to do certain things. But
luckily, Doktor already applied a solution to your wrist device.
Meanwhile, the other Rei looks to the group. Other Rei: So... Do
I get one of those devices? I might need it since I'm connected
to him.
Dark Vin looks to Doktor as well. Dark Vin: One for me too! She
says excitedly. Dark Vin had actually seen how useful Vin's was
before the incident and had wanted one for herself for a while.
She then turns to the other Rei. So who are you? I assume you're
like another Rei?
Other Rei: Call me Dark Rei... I'm the negative half of Rei's
soul, separated into physical form.
Dark Vin jumps over and excitedly hugs Dark Rei. Dark Vin: Yay!
I get a brother too! She says as she hugs him. Dark Rei was a
bit confused but hugs her back.
Vin: Huh... And here I told V Rei wouldn't have a dark side like
me... She says, somewhat confused.
Rei: Yeah... Hei showed me how to do it. Apparently it's an art
his brother accidentally used once to release a corrupted half
of himself. But for me, I thought it would be easier to split
myself since my negative and positive sides tend to conflict
with each other. I thought it would work to split and this way I
don't have to restrain my power like our Kindron used to. Our
combined spirit power would have had to be restrained if I'd
kept him as part of me, and it felt like a waste to restrain a
power that was causing problems anyway. I think Genus put it in
as a fail safe to keep me from getting too powerful. Once I
reached a certain level, it was like the two powers were just
completely unable to balance themselves no matter what I did.
Vin: I know how that is... She says with a sigh, adjusting her
glasses as she was still getting used to them. I think Genus put
the Berserker power in me so that I couldn't control my power at
a certain level.

General Mumfre and Captain Voronin were at a mission in Eastern
Europe for the moment so they will be arriving late. Sam and
Maya were able to make it in time and watch the two come back
with their dark selves. As long as their aren't any fights, then
it shouldn't be too bad. Of course, Sam grin and had to come up
with an arise from the dead joke.
Maya: mumbles more to herself So the psychotic bastards try to
hold you two back and try to make you his perfect "puppets".
Creator of the year, everyone...
Sam: Welcome back from the land of the living, you two!
Seriously, try not to scare us again. I'm too young to be
getting cardiac arrests.
As this happens, V and Voltan walks into the room. Voltan was
heading out of Mexico and manage to stumble upon V. Since V
trust Voltan, she told him what happened and the two went to the
Russian SF base together. Plus, Voltan gets to see Fujishiro
again as a plus. Seeing both Rei and Vin was more than enough to
relieve some stress off of her chest. She doesn't even know what
to say. Voltan on the other hand, just makes a fanged grin as he
inspect the two along with their dark counterparts.
Voltan: I'll admit. You guys look pretty amazing. Those glasses
even looks good on you, Vinny.

Rei: We're gonna try and avoid that. Neither of us want to die.
Though we did have a backup plan if we did die, which now we
don't have to use, so we can save for later. He says to Maya.
Vin: Thanks... It's weird, but I can get used to it. She says in
response to Voltan. Worst case, I just rely on my Magic Sense,
which I use anyway. But I'm just glad to be back in physical
form again.
Rei: Same here... Not having a physical body to train in was
kind of annoying to say the least. The only good thing was that
I got to train my spirit power immensely. My teacher even gave
me a huge boost to my spirit energy.
Shark: Everyone was worried about you kids. I'm sure Sergei and
Viktor are gonna be happy to see you two fully recovered.

Voltan: Yeah, Ven almost reached a breaking point when we
thought you two bit the dust. Thought she went a little nuts for
almost a month.
V silently kick Voltan in the shin while trying to make eye
contact. She really didn't want to think back to that event.
V: It doesn't matter... what does is that they're here.
Voltan: True I guess.

Vin: Well, Dark me and I were traveling with V during that
time... So we knew what was happening. It was sorta hard not
being able to interact with you guys. She says to the group.
Rei: I don't know what's been going on while I've been under. I
spent most of the time with my teacher training.

Voltan: It's fine. You guys did what ya had to do.
Sam: Man, I got so many good jokes for this.
Maya: Please don't. turns to Rei Well, V almost snapped, she
fought the clones who did this to you guys along with Black
Sun's own freaks joining, Sam and I went to Israel with clone me
and clone Jack to deal with a threat, we made a new ally, I
REALLY want to punch that Thunder d*uchebag... you know, basic
crap we've been doing.
Sam: Speaking of which... clobbers V upside her head
V: Ow! What the hell, Sam?!
Sam: You told us that Black Sun had an aircraft. We instead had
to fight a f*cking magic mech that almost made mince meat out of
us!

After Sam hit V upside the head, Vin has a thought and points to
Dark Vin. Vin: Actually... You want to hit her. She was the one
that gave us that information. She told V and me, and V told you
guys after that.
Dark Vin: No... That can't be right... She thinks for a moment,
which is apparent by her staying silent as she tries to remember
which area was which. I was certain the air ship was being
developed in the underground bunker... But the super guardian
was being developed in... She sighs and gives up trying to
remember which was which. Damn... Now I can't remember which was
which. I think they were both being developed in underground
bunkers, but I thought the airship was going to Israel...
Vin sighs. Vin: Yeah... My dark half is either a freaking idiot,
or she screws stuff up like that on purpose. I'm actually not
sure which yet... She is really good at manipulating people
either way. She explains to the group.
Dark Vin: Hey! I just got a little confused! I didn't do it on
purpose, and I am NOT stupid! I... just have bad memory... She
says, trying to defend herself against Vin calling her an idiot.
In this situation, both Vin and Dark Vin sounded like two kids
arguing.
Rei and Dark Rei just listen. Rei: Damn... Sounds like I missed
a lot. Sounds like fun. I really wish I could have helped you
clobber those clones after that stupid cheap shot they pulled on
us. And the magic mech sounds like fun.

Maya: Yeah, Clone Jack thought it was fun as well.
V: What's done is done. We can still try to think of something
to combat the air ship.
Sam: V got a point. We got you guys back and soon we'll get our
favorite Russian old men back in action as well. If this isn't a
huge middle finger towards Hyperion, I don't know what is.
Maya: We may still have to be careful. Something tells me that
this isn't gonna stop anytime soon.
Sam: We'll be ready to bounce back and kick ass again. Speaking
of which, I also have some pretty neat news. The base at the US
is almost complete. It'll be better than our old base. Downside
is that I can't say too much on the details or where it will be.
Voltan: Makes sense. Due to everything that's happening, the US
government wants to keep things silent. Can't say I blame them
either due to the increasing risks. But is it okay for you to
tell this to us?
Sam: I'm only saying this to the selected few in here so it's
fine. Plus, you guys know how I feel about secrets. Though I
will have to make an exception due to being CO and everything...

Vin: Honestly... I kinda like having you guys around. It's been
sorta fun to have us all together in one place.
Rei: Yeah. But I'm sure everyone agrees that you guys are still
welcome to come and hang out here whenever you want. Rei says to
Sam and Maya.
