Appearance:
A young man in his early twenties with spiky crimson hair and
eyes, Claugh Klom is a senior statesman of the Vowl Kingdom who
is also known as "Claugh of the Crimson Finger," a title he
gained as his bare right hand is always stained with the
enemies' blood on the battlefield. He is around the height and
weight of an average male. He is normally seen with his knight
uniform though off the job, he can be seen with standard mortal
attire, depending on his mood.

Phoenix Abilities:
Four Symbols Physiology:
~User with this ability either is or can transform into one of
the Four Symbols which are four mythological creatures in the
Chinese constellations, each one representing a direction and a
season, and connected to certain elements. They may have
connections to the four benevolent animals.
Claugh is the current host and inheritor of the Sacred Beast:
The Vermillion Bird of the South.
Ambient Energy Manipulation:
~The user can harness the power of surrounding energy sources,
gaining energy from the air by harnessing electrons and/or
protons. They are able to manipulate/harness visible existing
energy, such as lightning from a thunderstorm, or solar energy
from the sun. The received energy can be used to strengthens
one's self or for preparation of an attack.
Phoenix Physiology:
~The user with this ability either is or can transform into a
phoenix, a mythical, sacred fire-bird that symbolizes rebirth,
immortality, and renewal in the mythologies of the Arabian,
Persian, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Chinese, Turkish, Indian and
Phoenician/Canaanite people.
Phoenixes are described as birds with colorful plumage and a
tail of gold and scarlet (or, according to some legends, purple,
blue, and green) with a 500 to 1,000, or even 1,461-year
life-cycle. Near the end of its life, a phoenix builds itself a
nest of twigs or whole trees that it then ignites; both nest and
bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new,
young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again.
Fire Manipulation:
~User can create, shape and manipulate fire, the rapid oxidation
of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion,
releasing heat, light, and various reaction products, flame
being the visible portion of the fire. Depending on the
substances alight, and any impurities outside, the color of the
flame and the fire's intensity will be different.
White Fire Manipulation:
~User can create, shape and manipulate fire of beneficial
nature; that which strengthens, enhances and causes
anything/everything it comes across to flourish, representing
the sustaining and preserving side of fire, which in turn
ignores most of the common limitations and weaknesses of its
normal elemental variety. In essence, this is about solely
controlling the pure positive powers of fire.
Grand Flame Manipulation:
~User can create flames that can grant Semi-Immortality or be
used for Mass Resurrection. They can generate extremely hot
flames able to incinerate stone into dust. They can heal the
wounded, the dying and those who have been put under evil
spells.
Fire Mimicry:
~User is made up of or can transform their body completely into
fire. Users' transformed form is anatomically identical to their
normal form, aside of being made of fire, in which case, it
contains all to organs and is somewhat vulnerable to attacks.
Alternately, the user can transform into homogeneous matter,
without any part of their form being more important than the
other.
Nigh Formed Fire Beings are or can change into mostly physical
beings, with the energy flowing through their being, fortifying
their cells, bones and muscles. Their power is mostly focused on
their bodies and while they gain some amount of energy-attacks,
the changes and applications are mostly internal.
Healing Tears:
~The user has tears that can heal any wound it touches. They can
heal any living being including humans, animals, plants, etc. If
the healing properties in the tears are potent enough, the user
can cure poison and diseases and even revive the dead by crying
on them.
Ash Resurrection:
~The user is able to revive themselves upon death, either
instantly or after some time, turning into ash or bursting into
flames.
Pyroportation:
~The user can teleport via fire, merging into flame of any size
and appearing anywhere else from the same element.
Chivalry:
~The user possesses an innate ability to manifest great courage
and nobility at all times, especially in the face of adversity.
The knights express a desire to maintain order and are well
rounded in many aspects. They are well versed in the seven
knightly virtues and some are as zealous as to try and destroy
that which they see as impure, as well as suffering from
psychological stress due to having to suppress their natural
instincts and desires. Their selflessness and compassion makes
them very charismatic and they soon earn the trust of those
around them.
The knights are determined and their enthusiasm allows them to
master whatever they put their minds into. Although knights may
have an indomitable will, most fall prey to mental control and
illusions because of their constant absence of their personal
needs. If their will is strong, however, and they do not easily
fall prey to temptations. Their greatest weakness is, indeed,
the over-trust in their dogmas, the trust in those who are
closest to them and their naive disposition.
As maintainers of the status quo, knights expect those alongside
them to behave properly, however, they are always loyal to them
to an extreme degree, to the point that they may even give up
their lives for those who become their allies. Certain kinds of
animals have an affinity, such as war-dogs and horses, due to
their loyalty to their masters and great reliability in times of
conflict.
Selective Limb Empowerment:
~The user possesses at least one body part that possesses
supernatural powers.
When Claugh was a child, part of his right arm was bitten off,
and in order to maintain the functionality of his arm, he was
tattooed with a red mana inscription on his arm. This
inscription when invoked, gives Claugh the power to almost
instantaneously slice anything into fine pieces with his right
hand, including human beings.
Cathar Hunter Powers:
Templar Blessed Blood:
~One thing all Cathar hunters have in common is that they are
all descendants of the most powerful Knights Templar knights
ever and share their blessed blood. This blood can bless allies,
purify demonic powers and spells when a cross of blessed blood
is drawn on the forehead, and turn all supernaturals, magic
users, and mana users into permanent powerless mortals when
introduced into the body somehow. Their Knights Templar
ancestors are believed to have possibly been descendants of
Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene themselves and a reason for this
unique trait of all hunters' blood. When introduced into the
body in any way, the blessed blood quickly begins stripping all
use of unnatural human abilities from the target. This process
takes 4 rounds and is painful. When used to purify or for an
exorcism, a blessed blood cross is drawn on the forehead. The
truly possessed will have a sizzling sensation as the blood
takes 4 to 8 rounds to help remove the demon.
Regenerative Healing Factor:
~The ability to heal rapidly from any physical injury. The user
can rapidly regenerate. In other words, they recreate lost or
damaged tissues, organs and limbs, sometimes slowing, or even
stopping, aging. The rate and amount of healing vary widely from
Cathar hunter type to hunter type and person to person, some can
regrow missing limbs, others must put the limb back in place for
rapid regeneration. None can regenerate from the loss of their
head. Cathar hunters are not immortal, but they never age after
a certain point thanks to regenerative healing factor
stabilizing.
Infinite Blood Supply:
~Cathar hunters have an infinite supply of their blessed blood
thanks to their regenerative healing factor which helps when
it's your most powerful weapon.
Blood Manipulation (Limited):
~The power to manipulate blood, whether it's from oneself or
free-flowing. Cathar hunters can create, control and otherwise
manipulate blood of oneself or from their surroundings, whether
it be from blood-banks, hospitals, or battlefields. This also
becomes useful for healing when the hunter's regenerative
healing is interrupted.
Natural Born Combat Specialist:
~The ability to be a hand-to-hand combat genius. Cathar hunters
are born with the ability to become a master in all hand-to-hand
fighting styles; therefore understanding and analyzing opponents
style of combat and flaws in the opponent's attack and defense.
He can also use attacks that can automatically knock down the
opponent or use the strength of the opponent to his favor.
Natural Weapon Mastery:
~The ability to understand and use any and all weapons with the
proficiency of a master. Cathar hunters need only to pick up a
weapon before they instantly become proficient in it with this
ability. The first time they pick up a sword, they can spar with
masters, the first time they use a bow, they can hit bulls-eyes.
Even alien, magical, or other weaponry that they should not
understand comes naturally to them.
Natural Hunters' Teamwork Instinct:
~Cathar hunters like working in groups of up to 10 people and
naturally chose to work with other Cathar hunters by instinct.
Cathar hunters in groups of two to five hunters get a 30% attack
success and damage; groups of 6 or more gain 50% attack success
and damage.
Sense Cathar Hunters:
~Cathar hunters can sense other Cathar hunters. This sense is so
sensitive that they can even sense the type of hunter the other
is and how powerfully trained and disciplined they are.
Immune to Cathar Hunter Negation Powers:
~Cathar hunters are immune to each other's negation powers
unlike opponents and allies alike which makes fighting with them
difficult at times for non-Cathar hunters unless they are immune
to negation powers like artificial lifeforms (cyborgs and
androids).
Sense the Supernatural:
~Cathar Hunters can sense any type of supernatural power
including magic, mana, chi, demonic/dark/unholy, and psychic.
True Sight:
~No supernatural being of any kind can use illusions or other
methods of hiding their true nature when in the presence of a
Cathar Hunter. The hunter can automatically see through all
tricks, illusions, and disguises to see the supernatural being
for what it truly is when no one else can.
Cathar Supernatural Hunter Powers:
Magic Negation:
~Cathar Magic Hunters have the ability to negate all magic
within a 300 ft radius at will. No magic user can tap into any
form of magic energy while in the area of effect. This does not
work on magic weapons but does on magic items.
Secondary Negation:
~Like all Cathar Hunters, Magic hunters have one secondary that
works the same as their main negation. They can pick from mana,
chi, or psychic.
Immune to Magic Spells:
~Cathar magic hunters are immune to all magic spells cast on or
at them even attack spells unless cast by the hunter herself.
Resistant to Magic Weapons and Items:
~Magic hunters take 50% less damage from magical weapons and
items. Charms, potions, magical items meant to cause side
effects whether good or bad have a 75% chance of not working on
the hunter.
Mana/Chi Use:
~Cathar hunters can learn how to use mana or chi powers but
limited to starting off with only two mana or chi powers to
start with. Cannot start off with both mana and chi must choose
one or two powers. Can use mana and chi weapons with ease.
Claugh chose to use mana powers.
Skills:
Enhanced Combat:
~The user is unbelievably skilled in most known forms of
fighting. They can be exceptionally proficient in the fighting
traditions of a variety of cultures and become advanced with
their own individual methods of close quarter combat, including
martial arts (from all over the world), boxing, and wrestling.
They can also become superhumanly skilled in their use of
weaponry.
Riders Aptitude:
~The user possess great knowledge and skill in the art of
riding, such as riding a horse without any education. The user
can instantly understand the behaviors of animals no matter how
simple or complex, magical or scientific it is and even tame an
animal to become the users ride ranged from wild animals,
cryptics, demonic and even sacred beasts.
Enhanced Unarmed Combat:
~The users excel in melee attacks without wielding weapons.
Rather than relying on weapons or equipment, they draw on their
own strength and skill to fight. Users are able to use different
styles of martial arts, they can also perform many different
combination strikes, counters, and disarm their foes with their
bare hands.
Enhanced Surveillance:
~The user possesses great knowledge and skills of surveillance,
able to spy on and map out areas with ease and gather intel.
Weaknesses:
As a fire elemental, water/ice powers can counter him. Not many
people knows the Grand Flame abilities since it's the power of
phoenixes which is rare to have. Also, he is limited to how many
people he can revive. Despite the great power he has, Claugh is
still human so he can get hurt or killed like any other human.
This was proven when he lost his right arm to an enemy long ago.
It will take time for him to resurrect if he's killed though if
he's completely obliterated, there's no way for him to come
back.
All Cathar Hunters are still only human even with the
regenerative healing factor when it comes down to it and can be
killed by taking their heads. All Cathar Hunters maybe immune to
each other's negation powers, but the negation powers of others
can still render them useless power wise. All Cathar Hunters are
weak to Catholic created weapons and take 25% more damage as it
was the Catholic church during the Inquisition that almost
hunted the Cathars and Knights Templar out of existence. True
Sight for Cathar Hunters comes with a price. All supernatural
beings and creatures including magic users, mana users, d/d/u
users, and psychics can see a change in a Cathar Hunter's eyes
when they see them being for what it is... to a supernatural
being or creature, the Cathar Hunter's eyes turn void black and
the supernatural can seem to see their souls and true nature in
the hunter's eyes which does disturb the supernatural.
Cathar Mage Hunters are weak to demonic/dark/Unholy energies and
powers which do 25% more damage. Supernatural beings' and
creatures' powers do 25% more damage to Magic Hunters.
Transformation(s):
Mana Mode:
~This is Claugh's own enhanced spirit form, in which he releases
the full power of his mana to gain a highly enhanced mode. In
this mode, Claugh can fuse with his Sacred Beast, gaining
phoenix bird wings. His physical prowess is greatly enhanced in
this form, being able to take on other powerful creatures from
werebeasts to divine beasts.
Weapons:
None
Personality:
Claugh is a knight who remains absolutely loyal to Radu. Claugh
dislikes putting himself in a safe place while others are
fighting, and prefers to use his muscles to handle the military
side of the country, than to use his head to work out the
intricacies of politics, policies, among other stuff. Aside from
his battle prowess, Claugh is described as a highly charismatic
person, is well liked by both the populace and his men, and this
was an essential quality to head the army during tough times.
