Ryu: I don't mind. I don't think anyone comes here. I'm gonna
grab some of the stuff here myself. I think I can reforge my
swords with the ore here, and I think the herbs should be useful
for a few things. He says as he was also looking at the ore and
herbs. Despite knowing where this cave was, he had never
actually been inside before.

That was enough for V to grab a couple of herbs and ores for
herself and a few other allies.

get some herbs and ores on the way out.

up to Ryu, ready to follow him.

Ryu guides V through the cave, staying along the path to avoid
the creatures in the caves.

Even with Ryu guiding her and Vin, V couldn't help but prepare
herself for any attack. This just proves how crappy her luck can
be at times.

It is wise to be on guard, since the caves are large and have
other monsters in them, which Vin and V would be able to sense
in the distance. However, most were just doing their own thing,
and some even seemed to recognize Ryu's energy and avoid him due
to Ryu being a dragon, as some creatures knew how dangerous a
dragon was.
However, one of the few that didn't was an armorsaurus, a
creature with an almost metallic hide that jumps down and lands
in front of them. It was almost like a dragon-like dinosaur, and
moves to attack, which makes Vin respond by moving close to V
and getting ready to amp her with her fairy power, at least
before Ryu reacts. Ryu reacts immediately by drawing his black
skull dragon sword and slicing the armorsaurus in half with the
acid power of the blade, which eats through the armorsaurus
almost instantly with the concentrated power in Ryu's sword. The
armorsaurus falls to the ground, unable to continue fighting
after it was sliced in half.
Ryu: I didn't think there were monsters that could live like
this in a place that would choke out most life forces since
Veldora's life force is so strong. Probably because they've
spent their lives here absorbing Veldora's life energy that
seeps out of the cave. He's been here for almost 300 years I
think... He says with a sigh. We may run into stronger monsters
deeper in the cave so keep a watch.

V: Planning on it.
V frown lightly as she continue to move. She wants to take the
armor but she declined the idea since she might face people with
acid abilities.

Ryu continues on after slicing the armorsaurus. He was ready in
case they ran into anything else.
Vin stays by V's side and hides in her pocket with only her head
poking out. Despite knowing nothing could see her, she felt
safer staying close to V after realizing there were monsters in
the cave. She was warned by her fairy teacher that it wasn't
always safe for fairies since some supernatural creatures eat
fairies.

V remain cautious as well. Despite what others might believe,
there are monsters that eat demigods more than they eat humans,
hence why many demigods turned to gangs like Black Sun in the
first place since it was for protection. So a powerful dragon
king does put some things at ease.
