Ryu nods and heads toward a cave. As they do, a cold wind seems
to around them for a moment, then past them, as though trying to
analyze them as the wind went by. Though once it does, the wind
seems to die down a little.
Vin: What was that? That wasn't normal wind. She says as she
noticed the wind. Even though the wind didn't spin around her
the same way it did around V and Ryu, she could still sense
something about the wind, like it was being controlled by
someone.

V: Whatever it was, it probably didn't see us as a threat,
otherwise it might add another scar on my face.
After the wind scanning thing, V still keeps moving forward as
she follows Ryu.

Ryu takes them into the cave, which starts out simple, but ends
up being winding paths with a lot of turns, leaving most to
wonder where they'd end up if they took the wrong path.

V does not want to get lost so she stay by Ryu. She was almost
surprised that Vin didn't try to make a wind joke but she might
be struggling as well.

Vin was mostly just trying to stay with the group, as she didn't
want to get lost in the cave.
Ryu continues to lead them through the cave, until they come
into a large spring area. There were two major things to note,
the first was the large snake-like ice dragon that was looking
down on them as they entered. The ice dragon seemed to shine
with light from the spring, with his scales seeming almost like
ice crystals. The dragon towered over them, being a full size
dragon. On top of his large stature, the cold wind coming off of
him is the same as what they felt outside.
In fear, Vin goes and hides in V's pocket, making a small "eep"
sound when she saw the giant dragon.
Dragon: King Ryu... What do I owe the honor of your presence? He
says politely.
Ryu: Just passing through. Taking a friend here to meet one of
the four divine dragons. He looks to V. So... V... This is Orin.
He's the guardian of this passage to the Land of Dragons. He's
an elder dragon and a friend of Aigavlov's.
The second thing to note about the cave, which was fairly minor
compared to seeing a giant dragon, was the house in the corner
of the cave, which would only be known when Kera came running
out to greet V.
Kera: Aunt V! She says as she runs up and hugs V with a big
cheerful smile. Aveline also comes out of the house, more casual
and notices V. Both Aveline and Kera were wearing brown cloaks,
mostly so they didn't draw attention to themselves.
(Yeah, gonna intro a new NPC here. Haven't decided whether or
not he'll be a character yet.)

V has surprisingly seen few dragons throughout her life from the
dragon she fought and barely escaped from to dragons like Drake
and Ryu who are mostly in their human form. But seeing Orin in
his true form cause goosebumps to form on her body. When Ryu
introduced him, she silently wave hello to him, still in slight
awe. She snapped out of it when Kera ran out and gave her a hug.
A smile warm enough to melt the ice from outside formed on V's
face as she return the hug. This wasn't intentional but she'll
take what little happiness that comes to her.
V: Hey there, long time no see.

Kera: It has! I'm tired of this stupid cave. I wanna hang out
with you guys! She says to V.
Aveline: I think she's feeling a little cramped staying here.
She says as she walked up. I can see why.
Ryu: Yeah... Aigavlov left them in Orin's care when they were
brought to our world. I couldn't think of anyone better to leave
them with.

V: Well, he made a good choice.
V stops hugging Kera but place her right hand on one of Kera's
shoulders.
V: Ryu only brought me here so I can speak to Veldora. It might
sound a bit strange but he's one of the people that can help me
out with my training.

Aveline: I take it you're trying to get an edge on Kindron if
you end up having to fight him? Sorry, I've been a little out of
touch ever since we got here so I don't know what's going on in
the world. She says to V.
Kera: I wanna meet Veldora! She says to Aveline and V.
Ryu: It's already dangerous enough that we're going there. I'm
sorry but I don't think it's a good idea. He says to Kera.

V: Long story short, Hyperion created another batch of clones to
replace me and Death along with other problems. After I got my
ass kicked and the impending war building up since the gang war
wasn't destructive enough, I need to train so I can prepare for
my future battles. It sounds a little weird, but Hei spoke to me
about the Veldora idea. I still have a long way to go either
way...
