Kendrix: Oh.. You never heard the news... No one thinks you or
Crowley will ever be able to return, so they've named me the
King of Hell now. So now I'm the one making the decisions. I've
had to step up and run Hell... And keep it from turning into a
fiery mess of blood and souls... Well... More so than it is now.
He says the last part jokingly.

Kendrix: Well... When your leader is trapped in another realm
and cannot ever return, we had to put someone in charge. And of
course I just happened to be the next one to take the mantle
Crowley left behind.
Crowley: Well... He's got a point there. They need someone to
run things or they're gonna literally tear each other apart.

Lucifer: Again didn’t know Hell was a democracy and could pick
who was in charge. Your position is temporary. You know this.
Being the one out of the three of us that can get down there
makes you in a good position to play liaison. I mean let’s be
real, Hell is more organized then Heaven even in anarchy, so it
wouldn’t be stretch to say the one of us that could get down
there would vanish if they’re not smart about this choice.

Kendrix: Like I said, Lu... Made a deal and I'm going to keep
it. It's not just about souls. If this world goes, then I've got
things set up for me and the other demons to set up shop in
another universe. I even get my own little corner to set up a
new business. The demons are going to follow me and after things
go down, the demons are coming with me. Not by force, I gave
them a choice to stay behind or come with me to set up shop in a
new universe. It's true that you are the true ruler of hell in
this universe, but without subjects, you're just ruling an empty
kingdom. He says with a shrug.

Lucifer: I just have a gut feeling that this deal you made is
going to go under or end in a very bad way. We both know I know
quite a bit about deals. This one seems..unsettling.

Kendrix: It's not something I wanted to do, trust me. But if I
hadn't, I doubt hell would have lasted long after this world
goes poof. We're already running low on souls as it is to turn
because humanity's population is just so low and we're turning
demons faster than we can get new souls. We even slowed down
torture enough to give people breaks, to which I even brought
some alcohol for them to drink... But giving them breaks just
turned them into demons faster... Try and figure that one out.
He says the last part jokingly.

Kendrix thinks for a moment. Kendrix: I'll have to look into
that. That does give me some new ideas for a few other sections
of hell. I hadn't really thought about that, but I might be able
to use that. He then shrugs. But we've had to slow down torture
in order to make the souls we have last, so right now, speeding
up their turn to demons might not be a good idea.

place. He actually sits down and looks thoughtful for a moment.
Lets think here. You use time travel to import old booze. Now
let’s think of using a similar logic here for souls. Just not
exactly time travel. I don’t know much about the multiverse, but
I do know enough to know that theoretically and logically there
are dying universes just like this one. Now this plan has plenty
of holes and flaws that might not be plausible but let’s say it
is for a moment. A good percent of those dying universes have no
hope to be saved from their inevitable end. However, the souls
in those universes could have hope and our low stock problem is
fixed.
