Goten uses his smaller stature to try and go for speed over
power, using his Taijutsu arts to try and stay ahead of Feng. Of
course, though he was a skilled fighter, it was doubtful Feng
would have much trouble keeping up with him with Feng being more
experienced.

Not only Feng is more experienced but he is also way faster than
most people believe he is to the point that he can even catch up
to even some of the fastest people on the planet. Since he wants
to test the power Goten has, Feng begin balancing his speed and
strength to shift to his monkey style martial art. Despite his
moody attitude, he is a master of this martial art hence the
jokes of it because he's the descendant of a monkey deity.

Goten isn't a master of martial arts, though he is a pretty
skilled fighter as he tries to analyze Feng's fighting style.
The hard part of Goten's style though wasn't the style itself,
but the fact that his silver chakra had an effect that made his
movements hard to predict because his silver chakra aura is
always calm, giving a feeling like he's not even attacking that
usually throws off most fighters.

If Feng was still using his other style or a different animal
style, it would've thrown him off. But the style he's using now
is not as predictable as people might think. It's one of the
most unusual and involves his complete imitation of the actual
behavior of a monkey. Though many variations exist, Monkey Kung
Fu is generally known for its low stances, acrobatic maneuvers,
and deceptive attacks. Feng does avoid doing anything too
violent or crude by using other styles such as stone monkey
style which utilizes iron body techniques.

Thanks to Goten's Oniwaban training, his body was extremely
strong, making it really hard for him to take any real damage
and his attacks were stronger than they normally would be
without losing any speed, even after being hit. Goten tries to
speed up his use of Taijutsu a bit, using a stepping method to
try and speed up his movement to try and throw Feng off. If Feng
did use iron body, it would probably even out Goten's advantage
with his strong body. Goten wasn't using anything too fancy
currently, as he could have used genjutsu on Feng that would
throw him off, but chose not to since it was just a practice
match. It's obvious at this point that Goten isn't going for a
win as he did seem to hold back a bit in order to avoid trying
to go all out, but more just trying to show what he can do.
Goten hadn't even activated his Sharingan yet, which would
probably give him an edge.

His abilities did throw him off for a moment when he got a solid
punch to the face. He activated his iron monkey ability as he
continue. Wanting to compare and contrast Goten's current
ability, Feng switch his qi to the Power of Nothingness and
continue to fight him. Feng isn't going all out since this is
just a sparring match and he wanted to test Goten's current
power so he can understand it and help him with it however he
can.

Noticing that Feng was using the power of Nothingness, Goten
tries to focus his chakra's amplification, and slight
self-movement abilities to show his silver chakra's unique
abilities as he starts to radiate silver chakra from his body,
which brings his state to a calmness that Feng would be able to
sense that was similar but different. Even though he didn't
clear his mind completely, his state with his silver chakra
radiating was still somewhat similar enough the two powers could
sorta counter each other, but Feng's power of nothingness would
be stronger since Goten hadn't fully unlocked all the abilities
of his silver chakra and Feng also probably had more power to
use than Goten did since he was still fairly young for a
warrior. He could power his ninjutsu on the silver chakra, but
he didn't want to destroy the training area with things like
fire and lightning attacks since it was just training.

As the two spar against each other, Li Mei silently watch the
sparring match. Though it shows that she's thrilled by their
powers and skills by the way she's swaying her tiger tail in
excitement.
Li Mei: You know what Goten needs to do to fully unlock this
power, Kung Lao?

Kung Lao: Well. I can't say I know much about chakra and how
that power works. The only thing I know for sure is that chakra
and chi use the same chakra points to flow through the body. I'm
not fully sure what this power is in all honesty... I don't know
that it's right to call it a divine state, but it seems to be
somewhere between a divine state and a mystic state. The only
thing I can tell for sure though is that his body is trying to
move itself and apply it's own energy to it's attacks almost on
instinct, but his thoughts and strategies he's developing in his
mind are interfering with it... Perhaps if he learns to clear
his mind of strategy and thought to allow his body to fight on
it's own, he might tap into this power's full potential. But
that's just my best guess. I can't say I've seen a power quite
like this, but I don't know how unique chakras work compared to
normal chakra, so I could be wrong. He says to Li Mei.

Li Mei: It could be a start. Who knows? It might help him out.
I'm sure that he'll be able to figure it out in due time. It's
best not to rush certain things like this.
