since the situation is more about them.

She sits down in one of the chairs angling herself to face the
group Maria: I’m sure that it isn’t going to be too hard to
explain. She also looks at Jacob Also rest assured the furniture
won’t break if you sit down too hard on it. I’ve learned the
hard way.

Jacob: Oh okay... That makes things easier I guess. He gets
comfortable and then looks to Maria. Well... Long story short,
I'm from another universe. My father in this universe doesn't
live in London, and Hellsing is apparently running out of room
to let me stay there. I didn't want to get in the way of the
moving here from the universe we moved to after our world was
pretty much blasted by aliens, so they recommended that I come
talk to you. In my universe a werewolf version of you is my
mother, and Hellsing thought it would be better for me to see
about staying here since you're this universe's version of my
mother. I'm with a group trying to help Hellsing in their
upcoming battles. I guess you can consider it a thank-you to
them for helping us by taking refugees from our original
world... The one we ended up in was WAY overpacked as it was.
And then thousands of us showed up... As in refugees from our
world.... and it wasn't really pretty.

Maria: Werewolf..never thought i’d say there’s a werewolf
version of me out there. Regardless, I know a little bit about
losing something, but never in the capacity of losing your whole
world at once. I can hardly imagine how awful that was. Please
if you need to stay then I have plenty of extra rooms you could
choose from. Hardly anyone stays here aside from me and my
grumpy husband when he is home.

Jacob: Yeah... It's sorta strange to see you as a vampire... In
my universe you were a werewolf skilled in magic and eventually
became one of my father's top warriors, so you know... There's
that. But if it's alright, then sure, staying here is better
than being based out of London. Your husband won't mind me being
around, will he? I don't want to cause problems if he doesn't
like werewolves or something... Plus it might be a little
awkward to explain to him that he died in my world a long time
ago... If it's the same guy my mom used to talk about.
Alix: It was certain stressful... Most of our parents sacrificed
themselves to save as many people as they could.
Jacob: Actually... The stressful part besides that was the
universe we ended up in... It was so overpopulated that they
almost had us all killed right off the bat because they didn't
have the resources to go around as it was and we showed up in
the thousands... If it weren't for our leader's good
negotiating, they might have actually killed us all when we
arrived.

Chelsea: F*ck... that sucks. Besides, some of the alternates
want to go back to their own world so there's that little gem. I
try not to think too much on it but it's hard not to with all
the madness happening.

Maria: Well the only change it seems between me and your actual
mother might be our species. I used to be quite skilled at it. I
haven’t used it in a bit besides meaningless tasks, but that’s
besides the point. As for Nero well I doubt he’ll mind, and if
does he can get over it. It’s my home too. She gets this sad
look. It’s not pity but she definitely feels bad for them Now
you two have certainly been through a lot in the last little
while it seems. I’d really like to do whatever I can to help
you. Nobody should have to witness the death of their home and
then the death of thousands of their people. She pauses and
looks at him with this very mothering stare Has anyone fed you
all since you got here?

Jacob: No, not yet. Someone from here told me not to eat before
dimension traveling for the first time... So I didn't. Probably
a good thing since it does make you sick the first time you
travel dimensions. But I think I'm okay now.
Alix: I was going to go get food after this.
