When Athena hit the ground hard, it caused a crater around her.
While she gets up, Mason starts firing arrows that were blessed
by his wife, Clair. This gives Athena time to recover and rush
over to grab her blades.

It had taken her a second longer to make it happen the she’d
have liked, but she managed to pull up a barrier of solid Earth
that the arrows lodged in instead of going into her body. She
then made the ground icy slick to put Athena back on her behind.
She also tried to freeze Krieger and Awe over.

Krieger: I think I can place a power seal on Muriel's abilities
if we can land another attack. He says somewhat quietly to
Athena as she picks up him and Awe. Awe can cut through her
attacks, while I think I can hinder her more. Eventually if we
use my weight control, we can make her so heavy she won't be
able to move. Not the most graceful of fighting style, but it
should prove nonlethal enough to incapacitate her.

This is not Athena's day so far. The ice nearly made her crash
forward on her front if it wasn't for her wings. She manage to
grab her blades despite the ice being cold to the point that it
was nearly making her fingers numb. As she listen to Kreiger,
Mason decide to use the ice as an advantage when he morph into a
penguin to get closer to Muriel, trying to buy Athena, Awe and
Kreiger some time.
Athena: Whatever works... let's get that thing out of her.
((Now I'm imagining Mason doing some Penguins of Madagascar
martial arts on Muriel since he morphed into a penguin))

It was very clear that Muriel was nowhere close to the front of
this vessel’s head the moment whatever Leviathan has hold over
her decides to soccer kick poor penguin Mason a good distance
away from her body once he gets in range.

Krieger gets ready with his power seal, which would require
Athena to land a hit on him so he could put the seal on Muriel's
abilities.

Mason was transforming when he got kicked. His concentration was
messed up which made him turn into a bison. Snorting in
annoyance, he gets ready to defend himself as Athena bolts over
to Muriel, trying to at least slash at her legs or wings.

Oh was Muriel ever so glad she had tapped into Hei’s DNA. It
allowed her to manipulate the gravity of the space around her
which made her lighter and sped up her movements. Ironically
enough it would likely throw off Athena’s motions since speed
and force would work a bit differently. It also gave Muriel or
at least the being using her face right now plenty of time to
tap into the divine energy of Muriel herself and push it
outwards causing shockwaves and pulses of energy strong enough
and bright enough to be seen and felt a good distance away from
the fight itself. When the blinding light settled Muriel was
gone or at least it appeared that way.

Krieger: Oh crap... Is that darkness? She can use darkness and
light? He says, analyzing her power. Since Hei's gravity power
was used through darkness, that would essentially be what Muriel
would be using.
Awe: Sounds like I'm up next. He says to Athena, since he was
able to cut through energy like an aura breaker.

What Muriel did force Mason to quickly morph into a tortoise as
Athena summon her shield to protect herself from the impact. She
was force to put Awe in her mouth and grip the handle with her
teeth, which has proven many times that they're way stronger
than they look. Annoyed about the new powers, Athena place her
shield on her back and remove Awe from her mouth when he spoke.
She infused her violent aura with Awe for heavier damage as she
begin to try to attack Muriel again.
