RP: Divine Spartans: A Grizzly Meeting

((Open RP plus [member=10]Caterina Sforza[/member] as Muriel and
[member=1]Zorbak the Ebil Moglin[/member] as Kreiger and Awe if
he wants (You are awesome doing those two). Others must ask or
be tagged.))
Mason couldn't believe it. First the incident with Hei and
Athena and now news about Muriel coming back? It doesn't help
when he found out what that angelic woman did in Heaven. Retired
and neutral or not, he HAS to find Muriel and have a word with
her. Sighing, he decided to go find his dear friend and sister.
He manage to pin point her location close to the walls. When he
got there, he saw Athena much to his surprise. She was leaning
her back on a wall with her iconic talking swords, Kreiger and
Awe. Sighing, the old Spartan angel lord walk up to the Spartan
nephilim with a stern and slightly annoyed look. It didn't take
long for Athena to sense him, which made the pretty old nephilim
sigh softly.
Mason: What the hell are you doing here?
Athena: sarcastically: Nice to see you too, old man.
Mason: sighs Sorry, it's... a lot to take in. Obviously, you're
here for her as well.
Athena: Unfortunately... it's unlike Aunt Muriel to be like
this. I know she and Aunt Sariel don't get along well but what
she did to her and papákis
(παπάκης; dad) was just...
Mason: I know. Clair isn't so happy either. Neither will Artemis
when she finds out. But I shouldn't be too surprised since she
has been in purgatory for decades.
Athena: I know how she feels. Being in there was a complete
nightmare. But I would rather be in there for a year than be
alone for a minute with that monster.
Mason knows what she meant. The Man in Black killed her husband,
almost killed her son and nearly turned her into a monster, thus
resulting to the crippling of her powers and mental/physical
health. She has been getting better but if it wasn't for those
like Michael... only Elohei would know what would happen to the
poor nephilim.
Mason: We're going to get through with this. But first, we're
going to find Muriel and try to talk some sense into her. Even
if we have to beat it into her ourselves.

Honestly finding Muriel wouldn’t honestly be too difficult. She
wasn’t hiding in fact anyone could get to her if they wanted to.
In all actuality, Muriel had posted herself up in Heaven on the
throne to play God in the same way she used to criticize her
sister for doing. The same sister than Muriel had managed to
finally beat down in a struggle for power...maybe Sariel was
right to believe that Muriel’s power was possibly going to her
head in the days of London. If only she was in a position to
really say I told you so.

Krieger and Awe are with Athena, and light up as they call over
to Mason.
Awe: Yo, Angel guy! What's up?
Krieger: Well... This will be something... I don't know how
we're gonna handle this. I hope someone here has an archangel
blade or something cause I don't know if Awe and I could do a
lot of damage to an archangel if this turns into a fight.

Mason silently nod to the weapons before closing his eyes.
Sighing, Mason sends a message to Muriel using the Angel Radio
to communicate with her sister..
Mason: Muriel. This is Mason. We need to talk, NOW. Athena is
the only one with me. You also know where we are since I know
that you can sense us. Don't make us come up there. I'm really
trying not to escalate to anything violent.
As he does this, Athena turn to her blades.
Athena: I have some tricks up my sleeve. So does the old man.
We're trying not to do anything violent first. Besides, Muriel
had three hybrid girls. One of them was like me who went through
hell. But still... I'm a little worried.

Of course Muriel heard them. She’d peeked in the moment her name
first left the old spartan’s mouth. A look of consideration
crossing her features. Mason had been polite to her, so she
decided to grace him with her presence and give him the same
courtesy. She honestly seemed quite sweet at first glance.
Muriel: Mason. Athena. Long time no see.

Krieger immediately analyzes Muriel using his shatterpoint
analysis, something he did to pretty much all beings Athena
encountered, and something he did more of since Athena's fight
with the Man in Black. Even Awe was quiet, since he had a
feeling he shouldn't say anything yet.

Athena remain silent as well. Her arms start to shake but she
fold them to suppress them, something that has been happening as
a form of PTSD thanks to the Man in Black and Daemon. She
silently watch Mason look up to Muriel with his usual stern
expression. Though it shows that his wings in the shadows
look... metallic. Those who were there knows that Mason lost his
original wings in the Second Scarlet War and had to get new ones
with Raphael's help.
Mason: Yeah, it's been a while. We could've met earlier but the
kid and I took up a job as teachers. Muriel, what the hell
happened to you? I get that being in that hell plane wasn't the
best vacation spot over the last years but attacking your home
along with Sari and Mike? I know that you and Sari never got
along pretty well but this is low, even for you!

Muriel: No it wasn’t the most pleasant resting spot. The
farthest from it honestly. She actually settles herself down to
stand instead of fly so nobody has to struggle to view her
presence though it’s not as if you could. Now look I know what
I’ve done doesn’t look the best, but I didn’t do it out of
malicious or cruel intent. I had my reasons for it and they’re
good. You know me Mason. Why would I do all of this if I didn’t
have a real purpose?

Awe: Bull shit. Some of the worst things in human history have
been "done with good intentions". Anyone I've seen who says that
usually knows their "reasons" aren't so good. He says, just
blurting out his thoughts.
Krieger: Sighs. Way to go, dumbass... Do you just not know how
to shut up? He says to Awe.
Awe: It's true dammit! And everyone here knows it!

Athena: I didn't want to say it but Awe is right. Aunt Sariel
and dad weren't perfect but they didn't deserve what you did to
them! Now I want to know exactly why you did what you just did
along with what did you do to them!
Athena's words are starting to get angry but not to her normal
level of angry yet. Awe's words were right along with her
personally dealing with people who do horrendous things for "the
greater good". The same greater good led to her getting
tortured. The greater good costed Tarlin his family when he was
just a child in his own alternate timeline. The greater good
destroyed many universes thanks to the imperialistic
Interdimensional Order of the Dragon. Hearing her own beloved
aunt say these kind of words make me want to punch her in the
face. Her arms start to shake violently but Athena begin to calm
down thanks to Mason placing a hand on her shoulder. Though the
dark corrupted power from the Man in Black can be sense by
Mason, Muriel and the swords.
Mason: The truth, Muriel.
