sinned a lot." - Blackheart
"I'll bury you."
"You can't hurt me."
"Looking for someone?" - Blackheart when someone came looking
for him.
"My presence will burn you from the inside out."
"You're penance stare doesn't work on me. I have no soul to
burn." - Blackheart to a Ghost Rider.
"He thinks you're stronger than me? I don't know who's more
pathetic! You or him!"
"We're not gonna have a meaningful conversation now, are we?" -
Blackheart to an enemy.
"I knew you were here. I could smell your fear." - Blackheart to
someone hiding from him.
"The power of hellfire and wraith, wasted on a pathetic human?"
- Blackheart when he met Danae.
"There's an old saying: Raise no more devils than you can lay
down... My father raised one too many."
"Out of our way, old man. You're not needed here." - Blackheart
to his father when his father joined the Church of Demons.
"I have all of my father's strengths and none of his weaknesses.
I've never fallen. And I never will!"
"He sent you to bring me back. But I'm not going back! I like it
here!" - Blackheart when he came to earth and fought someone who
tried to take him back to Sheol.
"You think that's real magic? Just like your hellfire... You
are only a pathetic half breed. Half the heritage, half the
power. You're nothing to me. I call forth the ancient magics
that scared the gods! Let's his true face become visible. I am a
true demon, through and through." - Blackheart when he met Danae
(Note: Blackheart is half demon, half demon witch. But he
considers himself a full demon).
When Blackheart came across someone while searching for
something.
Man: You really shouldn't be here... They say nervously.
Blackheart: That's what they keep telling me. He says
sarcastically.
When Blackheart walked through a cemetary and was confronted by
the cemetary's caretaker.
Caretaker: This is hallowed ground. He says, realizing
Blackheart shouldn't be able to walk on holy grounds.
Blackheart smiles.
Blackheart: What? Did you think I was like other demons? He says
sarcastically.
When Blackheart was planning to fight someone who came after
him.
Blackheart: The girl. he says simply, as he starts to plan what
to do.
Man: You hurt her, and he'll be there like lightning before the
storm. He says weakly.
Blackheart turns and smiles.
Blackheart: I'm counting on it.
When Zarek met Blackheart.
Blackheart: We'll find the power we need.
Zarek: And when we do?
Blackheart smiles.
Blackheart: We'll take this world... One city at a time.
"You're going after Blackheart? You won't survive five minutes
against him."
"Blackheart is coming. It's important to stay away from family
and friends. Anyone he can use against you. Because he will." -
Someone talking about Blackheart
"Calain Vos. In the ancient tongue, it means 'Black Heart.' It's
said that he killed his mother while being born, and that he
killed over a 100 people in his first year of life. It's said he
was pure evil from the day he was born. Not even his father
could find a way to keep him under control."
"On the surface, it looks like sulfur poisoning. I've seen
demons weaponize their presence before. Sulfuric acid, sulfuric
dioxide, stuff like that. But I've never seen a demon powerful
enough to do this to someone... It's like the demon burned them
from the inside out. Normal demons aren't powerful enough to do
something like that with their presence alone. Who knows what
other tricks this demon may have up its sleeve?" - Dr. Amenadiel
Canaan when he investigated a death caused by Blackheart without
knowing who about Blackheart's powers.
