Sin City/London WIP: Shedariel
DIR By: Raven Tepes
Date: September 9, 2026, 6:47 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
“He is not like the others. The Abyss bends for him, but he
never bows to it. His wrath is measured, his mercy deliberate —
and that terrifies us more than his fury ever could. Shedariel
doesn’t destroy for pleasure; he destroys for purpose. That’s
what makes him divine… even in damnation.”
~ A lesser demon about Shedariel
“Humanity… they are the children of contradiction. They build
empires from dust and call it progress, yet tremble before the
same shadows they create. I have watched them rise, fall, and
rise again — each age convinced it is the first to suffer, the
first to love, the first to dream. They are fragile, foolish,
magnificent creatures… and perhaps that is why Heaven still
watches them, and why even I cannot bring myself to hate them.”
~ Shedariel on humanity
“My greatest regret is not the fall… but the moment before it.
When she looked at me with trust instead of fear. When I still
had a choice. I could have stepped back. I could have listened.
I could have loved her more than my ambition. That single
heartbeat — that single hesitation — is the wound I carry
through eternity. Everything I became was born from the moment I
failed her.”
~ Shedariel on his greatest regret

Abilities:
Basic:
Divine Energy Manipulation: The user can manipulate divine
energy, which is especially harmful to unholy entities such as
demons. The energy can be used to trap angels, demons and other
divine beings without killing them outright. The color of the
energy itself can vary. Though majority of the time the color
would vary from bright yellow to just pure golden.
Divine energy may have abilities such as summoning spirits of
the deceased back to the world of living. High level users could
gain the ability of Resurrection via Summoning the deceased
and/or angels from Heaven.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Divine_Energy_Manipulation)
Damnation Energy Manipulation: The user can create, shape and
manipulate energies of demonic origin. They would be able to do
all kinds of unholy things with their unique type of energy.
Things like creating blasts in creating or summoning beings of
demonic energy. Users would even be able to summon demons
themselves, through ritual use of the energy.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Demonic_Energy_Manipulation)
Abyss Lordship: The user has authority and duty over the abyss,
the realm where souls go into an eternal void to endure absolute
isolation from everything in existence. Some would call this a
fate worse then even Hell itself, as souls are forever doomed to
wallow alone without love or peace, forever losing bits and
pieces of who they are into eternal oblivion until they become
nothing and be forgotten by everything. Some users gain control
over a certain part of abyss where they command everything and
everyone in the area and gain a lot of power whenever they are
in the void itself.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Abyss_Lordship)
Demon Lordship: The user possesses absolute control, power, and
submission over all existing demons, including themselves, and
can freely bring new ones into existence.
The power encompasses all kind of demons from regular demons,
transcendent demons, demonic deities, archdemons, ascended
demons, demon lords, demonic undead, cambion and even certain
fallen angels that have demonic characteristics. They can be
controlled, summoned, redefined, banished, erased and recreated
at will, user's power over them transcending any potential
resistance or limitation.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Demon_Lordship)
Demonic Aura: The user can release and surround themselves with
demonic energy/force for defensive and/or offensive purposes,
possibly becoming almost untouchable while also gaining access
to various abilities and other attributes, most commonly in the
form of enhanced physical capabilities such as strength, speed
and durability, lifting or propelling themselves with their aura
in order to achieve flight, changing their aura into different
shapes and forms, or being able to produce various effects and
phenomena using their aura.
It is potentially far more destructive and more potent than
regular auras, given that demons are stronger than most beings.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Demonic_Aura)
Divine Aura: The user can release and surround themselves with
divine energy/force for defensive and/or offensive purposes,
possibly becoming almost untouchable while also gaining access
to various abilities and other attributes, most commonly in the
form of enhanced physical capabilities such as strength, speed
and durability, lifting or propelling themselves with their aura
in order to achieve flight, changing their aura into different
shapes and forms, or being able to produce various effects and
phenomena using their aura.
This aura may be so powerful as to cause others to submit to the
user.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Divine_Aura)
War Manipulation: User has the power to influence all forms of
conflict including mental, physical, spiritual and conceptual
ones, regardless of the area and numbers involved, control how
they progress and draw power both from the conflict alone as
well as the dying. They are, naturally, extremely skilled in all
form of fighting, weapons, and both strategy and tactics as well
as statistics of war.
The user can start conflicts by influencing people or events,
raise their personal and fanatical armies, control and create
weapons of every kind and even grant others extensive abilities
of combat.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/War_Manipulation)
Wrath Manipulation: The user can sense and manipulate the rage,
aggression, and anger of themselves, people, animals, and other
creatures, whether by increasing, decreasing, causing or
otherwise channeling rage, even manifesting the emotional energy
to a physical level.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Anger_Manipulation)
Wrath Embodiment: Users can become a physical manifestation or
personification of wrath in their reality and gains power from
the anger in others or oneself. Users can use anger and endless
rage as a power source to extend their life span or as a weapon.
They can become immune to death unless certain conditions are
met. They can also embodiment the hatred, the violence, the
vengeance and the war, concepts related to wrath.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Wrath_Embodiment)
Immortality: The user has the power/ability to exist eternally
without succumbing to age, disease, or fatal injury, rendering
the user functionally undying and unaging. It encompasses a
complete exemption from natural decay and biological needs, and
in advanced forms, may involve regeneration, resurrection,
body-hopping, or transcendence beyond the concept of death
itself.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Immortality)
Abyss Manipulation: The user has the ability to manipulate the
abyss, a realm that is home to souls who go there when they die.
It is an eternal void to endure absolute isolation from the
everything in existence. For that reason, there are those who
would call it a fate worse than hell itself. Here, the souls
that dwell there are forever doomed to wallow alone without any
love or peace, becoming nothing as they lose bits and pieces of
who they may be to the absolute emptiness.
(
HTML https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Abyss_Manipulation)
Telepathy: Users have telepathy, the psionic ability to perceive
and interact with the minds and thoughts of humans, animals, and
other sentient beings, and to transfer information from one mind
to another without the aid of physical communication (noise or
movement). A person with this ability is called a telepath.
Users can receive and transmit information with their minds
without physical interaction. However, many other mind-based
abilities fall under telepathy due to those powers overlapping
with the core concept of telepathy, allowing a telepath to
interact with their own mind and the minds of others in a
variety of ways. Some of the more common abilities also
considered telepathy would be perceiving the thoughts of others
and detecting the presences of other minds through extrasensory
means. More advanced users can influence or completely control
the minds of their targets and manipulate their thoughts,
memories, and emotions at will. Potentially, they even control
Psychic energy from their telepathic abilities, strengthening
their previous powers and maybe even gaining new ones.
Unique
1. Halo of the Damned: Shedariel manifests a broken, jagged halo
of corrupted divine light that emits waves of damnation energy.
Anyone caught within its radius feels their virtues erode and
their sins amplify, weakening their resolve and empowering
Shedariel.
2. Abyssal Crown Ascension: He summons the Abyssal Crown — a
spectral helm forged from the Abyss itself. When active, his
corrupt energy manipulation becomes absolute, allowing him to
reshape terrain into pits, tendrils, and void‑rifts.
3. Wrathborne Cataclysm: Shedariel channels pure wrath into a
devastating explosion of red‑black energy. The blast grows
stronger the more emotional turmoil he feels, making it his most
volatile technique.
4. Divine Ruin Convergence: He fuses divine energy with corrupt
abyssal force, creating a paradoxical beam that both sanctifies
and annihilates. Anything struck is judged by both Heaven and
the Abyss simultaneously.
5. Warweaver’s Dominion: Shedariel manipulates the “threads of
conflict,” allowing him to influence the flow of battle. He can
amplify allies’ aggression, weaken enemies’ morale, or twist the
battlefield’s emotional climate.
6. Abyssal Telepathic Chains: He projects mental chains forged
from abyssal essence into the minds of foes. These chains bind
thoughts, suppress willpower, and can even force enemies to
relive their worst memories.
7. Damnation Pulse Requiem: A rhythmic, wave‑like pulse of
corrupt energy that spreads outward in concentric rings. Each
pulse drains spiritual strength, corrupts magical abilities, and
erodes divine protections.
8. Seraphic Wrath Overdrive: Shedariel taps into the remnants of
his angelic nature, unleashing a temporary surge of divine
wrath. His wings ignite with blinding light, and his strikes
carry both holy judgment and infernal fury.
9. Abysslord’s Gate of Ten Thousand Echoes: He opens a
controlled micro‑rift to the Abyss, releasing spectral
echoes — fragments of damned souls that obey his command. They
swarm enemies, whispering maddening truths and draining
vitality.
10. Immortal Heart Reclamation: Shedariel channels his
semi‑immortal essence to reconstruct damaged tissue,
regenerate wings, or restore lost strength. When activated, his
heart glows with corrupted divine light, making him nearly
unstoppable.
Transformations:
1. Broken Halo Manifestation: His shattered halo reforms into
jagged shards of black‑light orbiting his head. Damnation
energy pours from the cracks, warping the air and weakening
nearby foes.
2. Abyssborne Seraph Form: His wings split into dual layers —
one divine, one abyssal. Light and shadow bleed together, giving
him access to paradoxical divine‑corrupt techniques.
3. Wrath Incarnate Overdrive: His body ignites with
red‑black flame. Every strike becomes fueled by wrath
manipulation, growing stronger with emotional turmoil. His voice
becomes a thunderous echo.
4. Crown of the Abyss King: A spectral crown of void‑metal
forms above his head. Abyssal tendrils coil around his arms,
granting him full abyss lordship and control over
void‑rifts.
5. Divine Ruin Seraph Ascension: His divine energy surges
violently, creating wings of blinding white fire streaked with
corruption. His aura judges everything around him — sanctifying
or annihilating.
6. Warbringer Cataclysm Form: War manipulation becomes absolute.
Ethereal banners of conflict rise behind him, and the
battlefield bends to his will — morale, aggression, and fear
become his tools.
7. Abyssal Eidolon Avatar: His physical body dissolves into a
towering spectral form made of abyssal mist. Telepathy becomes
overwhelming, allowing him to invade minds with ease.
8. Damnation Archon Form: His skin cracks with glowing fissures
of corrupt energy. Every movement releases damnation pulses that
erode spiritual strength and corrupt magic.
9. Ten‑Thousand Echoes Overlord Form: He opens
micro‑rifts across his body, releasing spectral echoes of
damned souls. They swirl around him like a living cloak,
whispering maddening truths.
10. Immortal Heart Apotheosis: His semi‑immortal essence
fully awakens. His heart glows with corrupted divine light,
regenerating wounds instantly and granting near‑limitless
stamina.
Weaknesses:
1. Ori’ela’s Light Resonance: The reborn angel’s pure aura
destabilizes his corrupt energy. Her presence causes his
damnation power to flicker and his wrath to falter.
2. Divine Memory Fracture: Fragments of his angelic past
occasionally resurface, flooding him with guilt and disrupting
his focus. These memories can paralyze him mid‑battle.
3. Abyssal Feedback Loop: Overusing abyssal energy causes it to
turn inward, devouring his own essence. The stronger his
attacks, the faster his body decays.
4. Halo Instability: His shattered halo constantly leaks corrupt
light. If struck precisely, it can explode, forcing him into a
weakened, unstable state.
5. Wrath Saturation: His wrath manipulation feeds on emotion.
When his rage peaks, it blinds him — making him reckless and
vulnerable to counterattacks.
6. Divine Seal Vulnerability: Holy seals or relics forged by
Heaven can suppress his divine energy, leaving only his abyssal
side active — which burns him from within.
7. Echo Reversal: The spectral souls he commands in his
Ten‑Thousand Echoes Overlord Form can rebel if confronted
by pure compassion or forgiveness.
8. Heart Overload: In his Immortal Heart Apotheosis Form, his
glowing heart can overheat. If the divine and infernal energies
inside it lose balance, it detonates violently.
9. Telepathic Overexposure: His telepathy connects him to every
mind nearby. Too many thoughts at once can overwhelm him,
driving him into temporary madness.
10. The Silence of Heaven: When Heaven’s light completely
withdraws, his immortal essence begins to fade. Without divine
contrast, his corrupt power loses meaning — and he weakens.
Weapons:
Nadrel‑Zahav:
(Hebrew roots: “Nadrel” = fallen radiance, “Zahav” = gold — “The
Fallen Golden Radiance”)
🔥 Identity & Core Concept
Nadrel‑Zahav is a sentient, telepathic,
shape‑shifting sword forged from the moment Shedariel’s
halo shattered. It contains a fragment of his original divine
essence and a shard of abyssal corruption — making it the only
weapon that truly understands him.
It is not just a blade.
It is his conscience, his wrath, and his shadow.
🜂 Appearance

warmth
~ Right half: black void‑steel, leaking red‑black

Nadrel‑Zahav is:
~ Coldly logical
~ Bluntly honest

~ Terrified of losing him to damnation
It speaks rarely, but when it does, its voice is a dual echo —
one divine, one abyssal.
🜄 Sentient Traits
Dual‑Voice Telepathy
It communicates directly into Shedariel’s mind with two
overlapping tones:
one warm and angelic, one cold and abyssal.
Emotional Resonance

It reflects Shedariel’s inner state — glowing brighter when he
shows compassion, darkening when he succumbs to wrath.

destructive force.
9. Immortal Heart Sync
Synchronizes with his Immortal Heart Apotheosis form, doubling
regeneration.
10. Ori’ela’s Mercy
A hidden ability:
If Ori’ela shows him compassion, the sword’s divine half awakens
fully —
and Nadrel‑Zahav becomes a weapon of redemption, not
destruction.
🜃 Relationship With Shedariel
Nadrel‑Zahav is the only being who:
~ Knows the truth of his fall
~ Understands his guilt
~ Sees his potential for redemption
~ Fears losing him to the Abyss
~ Loves him in its own strange, sentient way
It believes Ori’ela is the key to saving him — and will protect
her even against Shedariel’s orders.
Personality:
Core Essence
Shedariel embodies the paradox of controlled fury — a being of
immense wrath who wields it with surgical precision. His
demeanor is cold, deliberate, and fiercely intelligent, yet
beneath that armor of composure lies a heart capable of
compassion, love, and regret. He is the architect of his own
fall, and the only one who can undo it.
Temperament
Cold and calculating: He never acts without purpose. Every word,
gesture, and strike is measured.
Fierce and commanding: His presence bends others to his will;
his silence is often more terrifying than his roar.
Controlled wrath: Rage is his weapon, not his master. He
channels fury into focus, turning emotion into strategy.
Deliberate compassion: When he chooses mercy, it’s not weakness
— it’s rebellion against the Abyss itself.
Haunted introspection: He often stares into the void, not to
admire it, but to remember what he lost.
Moral Alignment
Shedariel exists in the gray between damnation and redemption.
He is not evil for evil’s sake — he is a fallen idealist who
believed Heaven’s mercy was weakness. His corruption is born
from conviction, not cruelty.
He despises hypocrisy, values truth, and respects strength —
even in his enemies.
He will destroy deceit but spare those who fight with honor.
Emotional Core
Love: Ori’ela’s compassion is his tether to what remains of his
soul. Her presence reminds him that he can still be saved.
Regret: He carries the memory of her death like a scar that
never heals.
Loneliness: Surrounded by echoes of the damned, he is never
truly alone — yet always isolated.
Hope: Buried deep beneath layers of pride and pain, a flicker of
hope still burns.
If his true love shows him genuine compassion, his damnation
cracks — and the divine light within him begins to return.
Behavioral Traits
Trait
Strategic Mind
like chessboards.
Controlled Speech
and precision.
Unyielding Discipline
assault.
Selective Mercy
former self.
Silent Empathy
restraint.
Relationships
~ Ori’ela: His lost lover and the embodiment of his salvation.
Her rebirth without memory tortures him — yet gives him hope.
~ The Abyss: His throne and his prison. It obeys him, but he
despises its hunger.
~ Heaven: The realm he betrayed. He still dreams of its light,
though he cannot bear to face it.
Psychological Profile
Shedariel’s mind is a fortress — layered, guarded, and haunted.
He compartmentalizes emotion like a tactician, but Ori’ela’s
compassion bypasses every defense.
He fears vulnerability more than death, because vulnerability
means remembering what he once was.
Redemption Potential
If Ori’ela’s love pierces his armor of pride, his divine essence
could reawaken.
He would not return to Heaven — he would forge a new realm, one
balanced between mercy and judgment.
His salvation would not erase his sins; it would transform them
into wisdom.
🜁 Summary
Shedariel is not a monster — he is a tragedy in motion.
A fallen angel who betrayed Heaven out of conviction, ruled the
Abyss out of necessity, and may yet find redemption through
love.
Background:
🔥 Shedariel’s Fall — The Betrayal That Unmade Heaven
The Lie He Told Himself
Shedariel wasn’t cast out.
He walked out, dragging Heaven’s light behind him like a torn
banner.
He believed Heaven had grown weak — too forgiving, too hesitant,
too bound by mercy.
He whispered to himself:
“If the throne will not act, then I will.”
That was the first betrayal.
🌑 The Secret Pact
Shedariel approached the one entity Heaven had forbidden all
angels to speak to — the Abyss beneath creation, the place where
discarded divine power pooled like venom.
He didn’t kneel.
He didn’t beg.
He offered something.
A truth only angels knew:
the location of the Pillar of Concord, the metaphysical anchor
that kept the celestial realms unified.
He traded Heaven’s stability for forbidden strength.
That was the second betrayal.
🜂 The Night of Shattered Halos
When the Abyss rose to claim the Pillar, Heaven trembled.
Shedariel stood at the gate, sword drawn, not to defend Heaven —
but to stop the angels who rushed to protect it.
He struck down his own kin.
Not out of hatred.
Out of conviction.
He believed he was saving creation from stagnation.
That was the third betrayal.
🜁 The Final Sin — Betraying the One Who Loved Him
There was one angel who believed in him.
One who defended him.
One who said:
“Shedariel sees farther than we do.”
When she confronted him at the Pillar, begging him to stop, he
hesitated.
For a moment, the infernal glow around him flickered.
But he chose power over love.
He struck her down.
And the moment her halo ****, his own shattered.
That was the betrayal that damned him.
🜄 What He Became
He didn’t fall.
He ascended into something Heaven could no longer contain.
His titles now carry the weight of his treachery:
~ Shedariel the Unbound — no law can hold him
~ Shedariel the Lion of Ash — predator of ruined sanctity
~ Shedariel the Broken Halo — the angel who shattered Heaven’s
trust
🔥 Shedariel’s Fall — Betrayal of His Lover
She Was His Anchor
Before the Abyss whispered to him, before ambition poisoned his
halo, Shedariel had someone who kept him steady — an angel whose
presence softened the edges of his pride.
She believed in him more fiercely than anyone else in Heaven.
She told him:
“You see storms before they form. That is your gift.”
And he loved her for it.
🌑 The Secret He Hid From Her
When he began speaking to the Abyss, she sensed it immediately —
the shift in his aura, the way his wings dimmed at the edges.
She asked him what he was doing.
He lied.
Not because he didn’t trust her…
but because he feared she would stop him.
That was the first fracture.
🜂 The Night She Tried to Save Him
When the Abyss rose to claim the Pillar of Concord, she was the
first to reach him.
She didn’t draw her weapon.
She didn’t raise her voice.
She simply said his name.
And for a moment, the infernal glow around him flickered.
She begged him to stop.
Not for Heaven’s sake — but for his own.
She told him:
“You are becoming something you cannot return from.”
He hesitated.
But ambition won.
🜁 The Strike That Broke Heaven
She stepped between him and the Pillar, wings spread, refusing
to let him destroy the foundation of creation.
He warned her to move.
She refused.
He struck.
Not out of hatred.
Out of conviction.
And when her halo ****, his shattered with it.
That was the betrayal that damned him.
🜄 What She Became to Him After the Fall
Her memory haunts him more than Heaven’s wrath ever could.
He carries three titles born from that moment:
Shedariel the Unbound — because she was the last chain he broke
Shedariel the Lion of Ash — because her wings turned to ash in
his hands
Shedariel the Broken Halo — because his halo shattered the
instant hers did
He does not regret choosing power.
But he regrets losing her.
And that contradiction is the core of his torment.
✨ Ori’ela — The Gentle Light of Heaven
Her Nature
Ori’ela wasn’t a warrior.
She wasn’t a strategist.
She wasn’t a guardian of the Pillars.
She was the angel who healed broken wings, who soothed storms,
who whispered calm into the hearts of beings trembling with
fear. Her power wasn’t loud — it was restorative, soft, and
unfailingly kind.
She believed mercy was strength.
She believed love was sacred.
She believed Shedariel could be saved.
🌿 Her Aura
Ori’ela’s presence felt like:
~ warm dawn light through leaves
~ the hush before a prayer
~ the gentle glow of a candle in a dark room
Her wings were pale gold, feathered with soft luminescence.
Her voice was quiet but carried truth like a river carries
reflection.
She was the angel who made Heaven feel like home.
💔 Why Her Love Mattered
Shedariel was brilliant, proud, restless — always reaching,
always questioning.
Ori’ela was the only one who could soften him.
She didn’t challenge his ambition.
She didn’t fear his intensity.
She simply loved him — not for his power, but for the tenderness
he showed only to her.
She saw the good in him long after he stopped seeing it himself.
🌑 The Moment of Betrayal
When she stepped between him and the Pillar, she didn’t raise a
weapon.
She raised her hand to his cheek.
She whispered:
“You don’t have to do this.”
Her compassion was the last barrier between him and damnation —
and the last thing he destroyed.
When he struck her down, her wings didn’t burn with fury.
They dimmed like a candle being gently blown out.
Her fall wasn’t violent.
It was heartbreak.
🜁 What She Represents Now
To Shedariel, Ori’ela is:
~ the love he didn’t deserve
~ the forgiveness he rejected
~ the light he extinguished
~ the memory that haunts every shadow he commands
Her gentleness is the wound he cannot heal.
