Opening Theme: Baldo Sadoru (

)
Female FBI Agent Found Hung and Stabbed. Burn Marks on the Wall
Resembling Wings. Police Suspect the Black Reaper.
That was the top headline of the papers when Drake was laying on
the floor and reading the newspaper as he often did. Drake would
have spit his drink if he was drinking something while reading
(but he couldn't in his dragon form).
It was the first day in a few weeks that had seen Hei on the
front page instead of Danae's Ghost Killer killings.
Drake read the story in horror, and looked at the picture.
Drake immediately ran to Hei's door and started scratching the
door while tapping on it with his claws.
Drake: HEI. Wake up, man! Get out here and look at the paper! He
says, trying to get his attention.
Hei walks out, yawning as he hears Drake clawing at his door.
Hei: You're like a desperate little house dog? Do you need to go
outside or something?
Drake: Yeah. Very funny. You need to see the papers. There's a
big headline today!
Hei: Can't this wait till later. I'm tired. He says to Drake.
Drake: It can. But your reputation is about to go out the
window.
Hei tilts his head in confusion.
Hei: Fine. I'll check. He says with a sigh as he walks out.
Drake follows him.
Hei looks at the picture, and the headline. His heart and his
eyes widened.
Hei starts to read the story.
Hei: FBI Agent Acillia Rynn found hung and stabbed by black
knives matching those used in the Black Reaper killings. She was
pronounced dead at the scene, and burn marks on the wall
resembling angel wings behind her were present. No explanation
was given by the FBI agents investigating. FBI called anonymous
consultant to lead the investigation who refused to comment at
this time.
Hei stops for a moment as he studied the picture. He had no idea
who Acillia Rynn was, but he recognized those burn marks on the
wall in the picture. And Hei knew that someone like Kindron, who
he knew as Wolf Mask, would recognize it as well.
Drake: Tell me you didn't kill an FBI agent, Hei... I knew you
were angry about that FBI incident, but please tell me you
didn't go after some random agent.
Hei: I didn't. He says simply. I don't even know who this woman
is. I don't care about what the FBI agents did, they were just
doing their job. But those burn marks are unmistakable. She was
definitely some form of angel. He explains. I don't like angels,
but I wouldn't go hunting one for no reason. And the time this
supposedly happened, I was here with you. You know that.
Drake metaphorically breathes a sigh of relief.
Drake: Good. I was a bit worried for a moment. The story does a
pretty good job of painting you as the villain. Almost had me
convinced.
Hei: I noticed. He says sarcastically. This has to be some kind
of copycat. Someone familiar with my killing methods. If I
didn't know better, I'd almost believe I did this. He says to
himself, clenching his fist. But why her? Who is she?
Drake: Not a clue, man. I have no idea what's going on or who's
doing this one. I only know what's in the story, and that's that
she was alone, and as far as anyone knows, you're the one who
ambushed her.
Hei: Damn... I see why you said my reputation was about to dive.
This makes me sound like some back alley rapist or something. He
says to himself. I need to do some investigating. And I need to
talk to Wolf Mask. He's working with the FBI now, and they need
to know I didn't do this. If nothing else, I know Wolf Mask is
reasonable. He says as he puts down the paper. He sits down.
Earlier that day:
- The Investigation Theme: Anticipation (
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS6dhZc6uac
)
At the crime scene, Kindron and Eric were investigating
Acillia's death. Kindron was in his full Wolf Mask gear, helping
identify clues.
The image was gruesome. She was hung from a metal wire line from
the streeth lamp, with two black knives matching Hei's knives
that were stuck in the sides of her neck. There was a stab wound
in her stomach, but now sword or blade, meaning the killer had
taken whatever weapon they stabbed her in the stomach with.
Eric: What do you think?
Kindron: I don't know who she is, but it definitely does look
like the Black Reaper's work. The knives in her neck are a
match, and there are traces of his scent on them... But it's all
wrong. I don't think he did this. I think he's being set up. He
explains.
Eric: What do you mean?
Kindron looks around for a moment, making sure no one was
listening.
Kindron: The Black Reaper's scent is there, but it's not the
same. The Black Reaper has some demon presence, because when
he's around, it smells like sulfur. It took me a bit to realize
what the smell was because it's so much more subtle with him.
He's a vampire, sure, but he's got to have some demon power in
him. This scent? The sulfur smells wrong. It smells like
man-made sulfur, not fire and brimstone. And the traces of
cologne and aftershave? They're not what the Black Reaper smells
like. They smell similar enough to most that normal scents would
mistake this for him, but they're very different to people like
us who have highly enhanced smell. Then there's the wire line
and the knives. They're a similar alloy, but different. Less
quality than the stuff the Black Reaper uses. It's high grade
stuff, but I suspect the Black Reaper makes his wire lines and
knives himself. So it makes sense someone setting him up
wouldn't be able to perfectly recreate it. But someone did a
good job setting this up, even if the details are all
manufactured. Someone went to a lot of effort to make this seem
like the Black Reaper. Heck, if I hadn't met him, I'd have
probably believed it. He explains.
Eric: What about the burn marks? Do you know anything about what
caused those? Because I've never seen them.
Kindron nods, looking around again before explaining.
Kindron: She was an angel. A literal angel, or possibly a
nephilim. When an angel dies, their essence burns out. Their
wings literally burn into whatever surface is nearby from the
heat. Or something like that. He says, since he wasn't always
sure how it worked since he didn't see angels die very often.
But yeah, that wasn't the Black Reaper's flames that did that.
It was her death that caused those burns. Something no one here
is going to understand.
Eric nods.
Eric: I trust you. I never told you she was an angel hybrid, so
the fact you deduced that means you know more about this than I
do. He says to Kindron. That also explains why my boss said not
to worry about the burn marks and just explain it as part of the
killing.
Kindron nods. Kindron then examples Acillia's stomach, where
another knife wound was, but no knife was still in her body like
the two black knives in her neck.
Kindron: Angels are not easy to kill. The Black Reaper's knives
wouldn't do the job. Nor would his elemental powers. He
explains. Whatever stabbed her in the stomach, it was a
different kind of knife, and it was meant to kill her.
Eric: My boss told me something about that. He says. He checks
to make sure no one was listening as well. He said that Acillia
was an archangel kid. She has the blood of Michael the archangel
in her and the demon prince Lucifer. The fact they were able to
kill her means they had some weapon capable of killing
archangels. And that severely narrows down the list of who could
do it.
Kindron nods. Kindron: That makes sense. I mean... Sort of. He
says with a shrug. I don't get how she can have the blood of
Lucifer AND Michael, but I'll take your word for it. He then
looks back to Eric. But in terms of the actual kill, to kill an
archangel is very difficult. You'd either need an archangel
blade, or you'd need a death scythe. At the very least. But to
get an archangel blade, you'd either need to be an archangel or
related to one, or you'd need to kill another one to get their
weapon. I'd say a death scythe is more likely, but the killings
look more like a knife than a scythe. He explains. I don't doubt
the Black Reaper has a way to kill archangels. Demons aren't
supposed to have to stuff to kill angels. The best they're
supposed to be able to do is exorcise them back to Heaven where
they can come back. I don't think the Black Reaper is tough
enough on his own to get the job done, as tough as he is.
Eric sighs as he looks at the dead body of Acillia.
Eric: You know... My boss was going to make her my partner, did
you know that? After the Dale Kelly case was done, it was going
to be official that she and I were going to be assigned to work
together. He says with some regret. She always seemed like a
nice person. I didn't know her that well, but I was looking
forward to working with her. He says as he kneels down.
Kindron: Hey Eric... Did she have any enemies? Or any skeletons
in her closet, so to speak? He asks Eric as a new thought comes
into his mind.
Eric: I mean, we get a lot of enemies in this line of work...
But as far as I know, no, she had no skeletons in her closet.
I'd say she was the type who would fight corruption with all her
heart. She hated that this town was so corrupt, just like me. At
least... As far as I know.
Kindron: I just thought of this, but why would the Black Reaper
hunt her down? He only goes after corrupt politicians, corrupt
police, and corrupt business men. During that raid on the slave
auction... He didn't kill a single FBI agent when we tried to
arrest him. He only knocked them out. But we're meant to believe
that this guy tracked down and killed Acillia for his own
reasons. And Hei killed her, but didn't take two of his knives
back, and only took whatever weapon actually killed her? And
then left her strung up like this to send a message? He kneels
down next to Eric. I don't like the Black Reaper, but he does
follow some sort of code, and everything he does is for a
reason. He has only ever killed corrupt people, or people
suspected of corruption. I don't think he'd kill some random FBI
agent with no ties to any corruption at all, let alone string
her body up like this. This isn't like him. I want the Black
Reaper to pay for his crimes. But he needs to pay for the crimes
HE commited. Not for crimes someone else did.
Eric: So... What do we do? He asks Kindron.
Kindron: Hey man, I'm the consultant. This is your case. He says
jokingly.
Eric: Actually, it's not. He says quietly. This is your case.
Your first one as an official consultant for the FBI. He
explains to Kindron.
Kindron: Whoa... Wait! I'm just extra help! I don't even know
this woman! He says desperately.
Eric: That's why my boss is assigning you to this case. My whole
unit is about to go out and bust the Black Reaper even if we die
in the process, including my boss who was her uncle. None of us
are thinking straight and my boss knows it. We're all too close
to this case, and we can't bring anyone else in without
explaining that she was an archangel/demon prince/vampire
hybrid. He explains to Kindron. Sorry to spring this on you, but
you're the only one thinking straight in this case. I didn't
even consider the Black Reaper was being framed. You're the only
one who knows the Black Reaper enough to recognize some of these
details. I saw the evidence and assumed immediately that the
Black Reaper was the culprit since it looks like his work. And
the fact you want to catch the Black Reaper, but you're
defending him in this case because you don't think he did this,
is clear evidence that you're looking at this objectively.
Kindron: I am not trained at all in FBI rules. I have no idea
what I'm doing. He says to Eric.
Eric puts his hand on Kindron's shoulder.
Eric: I'll be here to help you. Anything you need. But I won't
be the lead on this case, it has to be you. He looks over to
the reporters who were jotting down notes and waiting for them
to comment on the case. First thing you'll have to do is talk to
the reporters.
Kindron chuckles a bit.
Kindron: Why do I feel like I'm being fed to the wolves? No pun
intended of course. He says jokingly since they were both
werewolves (or at least, Kindron was part werewolf).
Kindron gets up.
Kindron: Alright. Let's do this. He looks to Eric. First, the
plan... You said I'm leading this right? No one is going to get
mad on how I handle this as long as its within the rules?
Eric: That's right. If you are going to do anything strange,
tell me first so I can at least warn you if it's bad.
Kindron nods as he looks away from the reporters and whispers to
Eric.
Kindron: Okay. So here's my plan. Our real killer wants us to
think the Black Reaper did this. Right now, I think we should
tell the reporters that the FBI suspects the Black Reaper, which
is technically true. Right now, all the evidence points to him.
We don't want the killer to know we're suspecting a copycat. So
we tell them that, but tell them we are working to find the
Black Reaper. That way the killer will think they got away with
it and won't feel the need to run. If they run, we're going to
have a much harder time tracking them down. And we don't even
know why someone framed the Black Reaper in the first place, so
that's the first step is to find the motive. And we need to find
some proof that leads us somewhere other than to the Black
Reaper. Otherwise we'll have to conclude the Black Reaper did
this.
Eric nods.
Eric: That's a good move, and a smart one. I support it. I'll
make sure my boss knows what we're planning, but outside of him,
don't tell anyone else in my unit anything about the
investigation, got it? Our people are on the warpath, and if
they smell blood, they're going to pounce. I'll be happy to
help, but you're the lead in this. So don't let them bully you
into anything. Unless my boss gives the order, run anything you
hear through me or him if you need to talk to him. He whispers
to Kindron.
Kindron nods.
Kindron: Alright. Let's go talk to the reporters then. He says
as he walks over with Eric to the reporters.
Back to the Present, Somewhere Else In Vegas.
- Bar Fight Theme: Unbelievable (
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGa39ZCCyDY
)
In another part of the city, a young woman with severe anger
management issues glowing with demon power and dark spirit
energy with a crazy smile on her face, almost like she was
enjoying the carnage she was bringing as she beat up everyone in
the bar who came to stop her.
However, this woman, Alice Rynn, was not here for the random
fights... At least... Not this time.
And Alice Rynn was not like her London self... This version was
dangerous and ready to murder anyone in her path. And the dark
spirit, Pazuzu, fused to her spirit was almost amplifying that
desire.
Today she was after Carter Ryle, known as the Photographer.
But it wasn't his new life that Alice wanted to know about.
Alice punches Carter across the face, and knocks him into a wall
hard enough for him to cough u blood.
Alice: Where is he, Mr. Wolf Spider? She says sinisterly before
kicking him hard in the gut, knocking the wind out of him.
That's right. This man who is now known as Carter Ryle was
formerly Ben Reilly, known as the Wolf Spider.
But Ben Reilly got tired of the Wolf Spider gimmick, and chose a
new career path after the time he had spent working with Hei.
Now he was known as Carter Ryle, the man who exposed people's
secrets and exposed corruption. And he occassionally punished
the wicked.
But today, he was on the floor gasping for air.
Alice: Don't make me ask again. Where is the Black Reaper?! She
says angrily.
Carter just chuckles to himself.
Carter: If I knew that, I'd make sure to help him kill you.
Alice growls in frustration. She grabs him by the hair and lifts
him up. Her eyes flash from blue to red as she looks into
Carter's eyes. While Carter showed no fear, he wasn't able to
beat Alice in a normal fight, which was surprising given
Carter's enhanced vampire abilities.
Alice: Last chance.
Carter: Or what? You'll kill me? Sorry lady. You can only do
that once. Besides, you need someone to lure you to the Black
Reaper. And you don't now anyone else who can do it. So kill me
and you lose any access you have to the Black Reaper. He says
with a smile.
Alice just smiles.
Alice: That's true. She says. She then throws him through the
wall. After the wall collapses on him, she walks over slowly,
her heels tapping with every step.
Alice: But if you're not going to lead me to him, then there's
no point keeping you alive. Didn't think about that one, did
you? She says sinisterly with an evil smile.
As starts to walk toward the door, she sees a police officer
rush in, who pulls a gun on her.
Police: Freeze, lady! He says sternly. A quick look at the dead
bodies and Carter trying to free himself from the rubble told
the police officer all he needed to know about the scene.
Alice: Oh? You want to play, little man? She says jokingly.
She walks up to him, and she shoots Alice. Alice just takes the
bullets, not caring at all about the shots even though they did
hurt her.
Alice smiles and once she makes it to him. She gets into a
fighting stance.
Alice: Shoryuken. She says as she uppercuts the police officer,
which explodes through the office, causing his guts to blast out
from his chest and his upper body literally explodes from the
force of Alice's Shoryuken uppercut.
From in Alice's mind, the dark spirit, Pazuzu reacts to the
attack as Alice gets drenched in the man's blood.
Pazuzu: Jesus Christ lady! I love the enthuaism, but tone it
down a bit! And that was just a basic version of the attack...
Alice: Shut up, Pazuzu. You don't give me orders. Unless you
want me to shut you up the hard way. You only get to watch what
I do because I allow it.
Pazuzu: Oh please. I'm from the Xeles side of the Shadow Realm.
You can't do anything to me that would scare me. He says to her.
Alice smiles as she licks some of the blood off her collar.
Alice: Although... I should have let this one live a little
while longer. I may have wasted some good blood. She says with a
shrug as she starts walking out of the bar, licking the blood
off her jacket.
As Alice walks out of the bar, leaving Carter to fight his way
out of the rubble of the wall, she walks down the ally with a
scowl.
From behind her, a man comes out of the shadow, as though hidden
by it.
Man: You should have finished the job, Aly... Don't get soft
now. He's going to go tell the Black Reaper you're after him. He
says with a smile.
- Meeting in the Alley: My Brother Monks (
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJStiLOUmjo
)
Alice: That's the idea, Servius. He's going to lead me straight
to him. All I have to do is follow him to the Black Reaper. She
says as she turns to Servius, Lucretius, the man who led the
London sect of the Sabbat.
Servius: Oh really? I hope you're right, Aly. Because if he
knows you're comin', let's just say that you're not gonna have
an easy time given his reputation. He says with a smile.
Alice then moves forward and grabs Servius by the neck, lifting
him off the ground and squeezing it as she looks him in the eyes
with a cold stare.
Alice: Don't think I don't know you were involved somehow. You
come to this town just as she is found dead? I don't think so.
You and your new partner had something to do with this. I know
it. She says to Servius.
Servius calls the shadows, and a tendril wraps itself around
Alice's neck, choking her.
However, Alice, unlike normal, didn't cower in the face of
Servius's wrath, but instead held her ground and continued
choking Servius.
Alice: Go ahead. Snap my neck. I'll survive. You won't. She
says, ready to compete with him over who dies first.
Servius: Don't forget who I am, kid! I'm your better! He says to
her.
Alice: Don't forget? Or what?! You'll murder my sister?! You
have nothing to threaten me with anymore. She says with a
strained chuckle.
Servius: If you'd showed this kind of zeal when working for me
back in London, I'd have never HAD to threaten your sister. I
actually LIKE this version of you. But do you really think I'd
let your sister die without torturing her first? He says with a
strained voice, but a sinister smile.
However, a new man in a business suit walks into the alley, and
uses his own command of shadows to wrap around and restrain them
both, pulling them away from each other.
Man: Now, now... Don't kill each other. I can honestly say that
no one in this alley had anything to do with your sister's
death. He says with a smile.
Alice: Oddly specific. She says sarcastically to the man.
Servius: Ah. There he is... Zenra- He says, trying to say
Zenrael, but couldn't.
Zenrael: Stop. He says, forcing Servius to stop speaking. He
then lets Servius and Alice go from the shadows that were
binding them. Don't say my name out loud. If Heaven finds out
I'm here, then they will come for me. I'm not supposed to be
here. He warns. For now, focus on the Black Reaper. And any
other threats to my plan that may come about. The Darkfire
family cannot be allowed to stop me this time. If Hei Darkfire
survives, he'll become a threat not just to me, but to you as
well. He smiles. It will be the first step in avoiding your
death, Servius.
Servius looks to Zenrael.
Servius: The Darkfires... That family lives in Japan. They don't
leave that country these days. You expect to find them here?
Zenrael looks over, his charm disappearing in a look of cold
fury. It was the fury of a man who had lost to the Darkfires in
the future, and had suffered greatly for it.
Zenrael: Trust me, there's Darkfires in this town. Find them,
and kill them. And don't let the Darkfires track you down. Or
you'll suffer the same fate others have for attacking their
family. He says as he turns away. You wouldn't want to...
declare war on their family, would you? They're not as fun to
play with as someone like Alucard who actually indulges in your
games.
Servius shrugs.
Servius: Depends on how much fun I get out of having my fun. He
says jokingly with a smile.
Zenrael: Play your games, Servius. But if you die in this past,
I won't be the one to revive you unless you pledge yourself to
me. He says, regaining his charming smile.
Alice: And what exactly is your plan? Buy the city? She asks,
her arms crossed.
Zenrael shrugs jokingly.
Zenrael: In a way. He says jokingly. This body has the wealth to
create a business empire. I'm going to start a revolution... A
new culture that won't exist for another 20-30 years. He says
with a smile. In my new America, motorcycles will become the
main mode of transportation... And motorcycle culture will exist
here years before it is meant to. And Servius will create a
whole new gang that will spawn others and build himself a whole
empire of his own in the criminal underworld. I will build an
empire, and in the process, I will crush the Darkfires. And I
will chase Phantom out of this world for what he does to me in
the future, whether he knows it's coming or not. He says with a
smile, knowing that Phantom was disconnected from the timeline
just like him, so Phantom would know what's going to happen in
the future as well.
Alice sighs.
Alice: I didn't need your life story... You didn't have to
explain ALL of your evil plan. She says sarcastically, and
impatiently. Whether it was London Alice or Sin City Alice, one
thing that both versions shared was her annoyance at long
explanations.
Zenrael chuckles a bit.
Zenrael: It's honestly strange... Having you on my side in this
timeline. Just be careful hunting down your prey. Pazuzu hasn't
evolved in this timeline, so he's nowhere near as strong as he
is in the future. He says jokingly.
Alice: Whatever. She walks up to Zenrael and stares him in the
face with a cold expression. If I find out you or Servius had
anything to do with my sister's death, you're going to regret
being so hard to kill. She says to Zenrael.
Zenrael chuckles.
Zenrael: Oh, my dear. You have no idea what I've suffered. It's
far worse than anything your mortal mind could imagine. He says
with a sinister smile.
Pazuzu: Seriously?! You're not going to pull me out of this
crazy b*tch?! I can't even breathe in here without her
permission! She shouldn't even be able to do this to a dark
spirit! He says to Zenrael through spiritual communication.
Zenrael smiles again.
Zenrael: Don't worry, Pazuzu. Just keep absorbing her power like
I showed you. Even if you can't copy the boy who evolves you,
you may evolve by absorbing enough of his mother's power that he
gained a lot of his demon and angel power from. Or you can find
the boy who changed the timeline and absorb him instead. He says
spiritually to Pazuzu so Alice couldn't hear his words.
Alice walks off, ready to continue her search for the Black
Reaper, the man she believed murdered her sister.
Just what had happened that changed the timeline to this
extreme? No one seemed to have the answer.
But Zenrael and Servius seemed to have a plan for Sin City... .
And no one knows just what chaos their plan could bring...
A Week Later
- The Black Reaper Appears Again Theme: Shizuku (
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agcOvZrviHU
)
As Kindron and Eric were staying with Dale Kelly, hoping to
avoid leaving Dale Kelly alone for too long. Even though they
were leaving FBI agents here when they were out investigating
the death of Acillia, they were still trying to stay with Dale
since they knew dangerous people were after him.
But while there, Kindron looks out the window and sees Hei
staring at them from the rooftop across the street.
After leaving Dale with Eric, Kindron walks across the street
and goes to the roof where Hei was.
Hei's presence, but not attacking them sent a clear message when
Kindron saw him... That he wanted to speak with them.
As Kindron walks out the door to the roof and sees Hei turn to
him, the two stare each other down.
Kindron: Hello, Black Reaper. He says to Hei.
Hei: We need to talk about that FBI woman. I didn't kill her. He
says to Kindron.
Kindron nods.
Kindron: And how can you prove that? He asks Hei, not telling
Hei about his true suspicions yet.
Hei: I can't prove it... Yet. But I will. Just stay out of my
way, and let me kill the person who killed the FBI agent. If we
work together, we can make him pay for what he did.
Kindron breathes deeply.
Kindron: If we do this, he will pay. But he will pay the right
way. I have more than enough people who want revenge for this
woman. I won't add you to the mix. He says sarcastically. Give
me something useful.
Hei: Right now, I don't have anything I can tell you. But you
said during our first fight you can tell when someone is lying.
And I came to tell that side of you that I did not kill that
woman. I would like you to call off your search for me until I
find whoever did this.
Kindron's expression doesn't change, as he looks to Hei.
Both had unreadable expressions, hidden by their respective
masks. The two still not knowing they were actually brothers,
and just how similar they were.
Kindron: I can tell when people are lying. But you are much
harder to read than others. I suspect it's the same reason
people can't read me. We train our minds to control our
emotions. I suspect we have similar training to manipulate our
inner minds and suppress our subconscious responses when we lie.
He says to Hei.
Hei's interest is piqued at Kindron's words, as he stops in his
tracks.
Hei: So you're familiar with that kind of training? Interesting.
He says to himself. He then focuses on Kindron again.
Kindron: Tell me something. This will help me with the
investigation. How do you choose your targets? You go after the
corrupt, but how do you make sure you don't kill someone wrongly
accused? Have you ever killed someone with no corruption in
them? He asks Kindron.
Hei hesitates for a moment before answering, not wanting to give
away his secrets. But for the first time, he trusted Kindron
enough to know Kindron wouldn't misuse the information.
Hei: I don't tell people this, but I investigate people before I
go after them. I gather my own evidence of their deeds. If I
find enough evidence to condemn them, then I take them out. But
if I don't find the evidence to back up the claim, I don't kill
them because I can't be sure unless I have the evidence. I'm not
in the business of taking innocent lives. But if I find the
evidence, I'm not merciful to the corrupt either.
Kindron nods.
Kindron: That's what I expected. I figured you had a method. I
just didn't want to assume. He says.
Hei: So, what's your plan if I don't help you? Do you plan to
arrest me?
Kindron growls a bit.
Kindron: I'll arrest you. But it will be for YOUR crimes. Not
this one. He walks up to Hei. I don't break the rules often, but
for this one, I'm making an exception. Something about this case
feels... strange... Different from normal frame jobs. And I
suspect you sense it as well. He says almost to himself.
Hei stays silent, as Kindron leans forward and whispers to him.
Kindron: Did you examine the crime scene? He says quietly.
Hei: No. I only saw pictures of it in the paper. By the time I
got there, I only saw the angel wings burned into the building
side. He says to Kindron, being quiet.
Kindron: It was a good setup. Had the FBI believing it was you.
But I could tell something wasn't right. The details were very
close to your killings and very convincing to most, but not
completely. Someone who knows your patterns, but didn't know
certain details about you. I could tell instantly what they
couldn't. The wire line that was used to hang her was similar to
yours, like someone who had seen you use it before, but the
quality isn't near what you use in those lines on your grapple
device and your belt when we fought. The knives were a slightly
different alloy from what you used in our previous encounters.
But they look just like your knives. Whoever made them did a
very convincing job, but didn't know the exact chemical makeup
of your weapons. Then there was the scent. Someone knew your
scent enough to know what general scent you have. The aftershave
and cologne you wear... I could tell that what the killer used
wasn't the same as what you wear, but it was similar enough to
fool most. All these details were made by someone who was very
familiar with you and your style, but didn't have the exact
details. It was obvious that they knew enough about you, but had
to guess on some of the exact details. Acillia Rynn's exact
identity wasn't given to the public, but she was an angel/demon
hybrid, and with the power of Michael the archange and Lucifer
the demon prince. And her mother was a vampire. Someone
targetted her specifically, but I don't know why. I'm hoping the
information will be more useful to you. Or that you know why she
was targetted and why you were framed for it. He explains to
Hei. He then walks back toward the door. But that's all the
information we have right now. If you do show up here, the FBI
will arrest you. So be careful. For now, we're not on the same
side, but I think having you investigate this will draw the real
killer out into the open where I can figure out who they are.
Hei nods.
Hei: Thank you. That is useful information. You gave me a lot of
good info that I wouldn't have gotten any other way. So I owe
you for that. He says simply. If I find who did this though,
they're dead. I don't need a copycat. So pray you find them
before I do if you want them alive. He says darkly before
vanishing in a burst of dark flames.
Kindron sighs.
Kindron: Honestly, Eric's unit might let you kill them, whoever
they are. And even I'm tempted to let you kill whoever did this.
He says to himself, despite the fact Hei couldn't hear him.
The mystery now was a little clearer, but now the situation was
a powder keg, ready to explode.
Kindron tries to calm his mind as he walks back to Dale's
office.
Kindron knew something big was about to happen, but he had no
idea just what was about to unfold with Alice, Servius, and
Zenrael showing up in the city.
Suddenly, the conflict between Hei and Kindron seemed
insignificant to Kindron compared to the true darkness he was
sensing from this killing.
And it was starting to frighten Kindron just what may happen
next...
Because Kindron felt something he couldn't explain... A fear of
the unknown unlike anything he'd felt before.
End.
