Garton: As the ruler of the Ragnorok nation... [sub]Still
unnamed currently...[/sub] I can sympathize with your plight. Of
course, you know the story of how Maya and Jack were created by
now thanks to Genus. But Maya and Jack are still viable counters
as long as we're prepared. I know what it's like to want to have
counters in place in case things go south. I will make sure Maya
and Jack are properly upgraded. If you can keep me up to date on
her abilities as they develop, then I should be able to keep
Maya updated for battle against V should the situation arise. I
also have plenty of special projects in the works. We produce
plenty of varanium and stilled silver specifically for
situations like that. And our cybernetics program has grown
considerably in the last few years thanks to new tech. Though
I'd be more worried right now about whatever Genus is
plotting... Because I doubt he's going to sit back and not
create something new for himself to take over the world with his
"ambition" to play god in his little "evolution" ideology.

Anabel: Do you think, Mr. Xeno, that it would be such a bad idea
to plant a friend in Vendetta’s life? Someone that we could use
to not only help keep track of V and her profession, but also
steer here in the right direction. It would meet Pavlovich’s
requests as far as the monitoring goes, and if we create someone
new that was expendable then maybe...just maybe...it would keep
the dirt off of all our hands. Nobody would be any the wiser if
things went south. They’d have no clue that our organization was
involved and certainly no idea that the president came to us.

The Russian President nod his head softly as he listen to the
two.
Pavlovich: Both sounds like good ideas. Though we need to be
discreet if we're going to do the friend plan. Vendetta is
becoming more cautious with people lately from what I've been
told. And I don't want her to get hurt or worse if things goes
sour. I'm not 100% on the expendable idea but as long as it's
someone like some criminal, then I couldn't care less. But we
can still use Mr. Xeno's idea of using the clones and extra
weapons if that solemn day unfortunately comes. But for now,
we'll have to keep an eye on the girl.

Garton smiles, already one step ahead of them. Garton: As
interesting as that sounds to do that... That was partially why
I left Vin and Rei alone and allowed them to continue serving
with Special Forces, despite the fact I might have been able to
talk them into rejoining us, and I could have stopped them from
leaving in the first place but I chose not to. I could have
tried harder to get them back, but I let them stay with the
group, especially after Vin became close to V. I actually still
keep a close enough... eye... on them that I can still keep an
eye on Vendetta through them. Not even Genus knew that I was
watching them even after they left our forces or how I do so...
He smiles to Pavlovich. Sorry... But I have to keep how I do
that a secret for today. It's probably better for you to have no
knowledge of it. If it does come back, then it will be on me
alone. And I'm okay with taking the heat if it means having to
explain it was to keep an eye on someone who could become a
threat later. Vin has become like a little sister to her, and
Vin won't ever betray her. Her soft heart will help V stay on
the right path, of that much I'm sure. Vin and Rei became part
of the family, and they're the best ones to help keep V from
going crazy. Her connection to them has lessened any real reason
I need to intervene. Now if something happens to them... Then we
might need a backup plan.

Anabel: Yes we will need a back up plan just in case. Now while
I don’t expect it to happen, we need to be more than prepared if
the two decide to really stick by V if she snaps. I hope they’ll
see reason, but when feelings get involved things get a bit
tricky. Outcomes become harder to predict.

Pavlovich: Worse case scenario, either she snaps and the two get
hurt or worse trying to help Vendetta or Vendetta snaps because
something happened to them. What many people keep forgetting is
that Vendetta isn't as old as people think she is. Technically,
she is still a troubled child already reaching to adulthood.
Especially since she turned 21 on March. I will not go into
details but after everything she has went through, the reason
why she didn't even have the thought of saying "F*ck it" and let
the whole world have it is because she has those like Vinette
and Rei. You take the things that she cares more than her own
life and what do you get? A unstable time bomb. One of the last
things that she wanted to be. I trust that you and your
organization will have something up your sleeve but if possible,
I can have a few others helping you out. But that's your call.

Garton: People are more predictable than you think. If you
understand the individual mind of the people you associate with,
you can predict them with pretty consistent accuracy. He says to
Anabel. He doesn't get too specific since he knew Anabel was
someone who's spent a lot of time around humans and was smart
enough that he wouldn't have to go into great detail about the
psychological states. It is sort of ironic... Two clones that
Genus cast aside ended up being more successful than his second
versions in their own way almost like we were in a movie story
or something. I never predicted that Vin and Rei would get as
close to V as they did or that you would accept them as easily
as you did. But... That is the double-edged sword with using
people to get close to V is that if she gets attached and
something happens to that person, it could also push her further
to the edge. For now, I'll keep the preparations going, and be
ready should the time arise... After what Genus tried to do to
Vin and Rei before, I suspect he will try again once he finishes
new projects to replace Maya and Jack. If I know him, then he's
probably planning some very dangerous projects. That will be the
true test I think that will probably determine if we need
backup plan.

Anabel: People are predictable Garton. However, considering i’m
the angel people invoke when they pray for knowledge or to deal
with the stupidity of others...I’d say that I have a fair
examination on human psychology and you know that. I known that
it will only take one wrong move for Miss Vendetta to do
something very rash and stupid whether it be at the risk of just
herself or the risk of the world. She leans forward in her
chair I don’t think it would hurt too much to go ahead and start
planning a backup plan. It can be altered if the need be, but I
think President Pavlovich would rest more comfortably knowing
that we have options should something happen.

Pavlovich: Both of you have made good points. I'll admit, as a
former Naval soldier, I have made some risky choices. Some were
good while others were ones that still haunt me to this day.
Whatever the back up plan is, I trust that you two know what to
do. But I must ask... if V manage to somehow survive after she
snaps and depending on how bad the situation gets, what would
happen to her? If it's not death, I'm sure that she might be
imprisoned by my forces to keep things off of you back.. unless
you or Miss Anabel have an idea already for that...

Garton: Unfortunately... If she becomes a threat, I will do
whatever must be done for better or worse. If she's too
dangerous to contain, then death may be the only option for her
when it comes to Ragnorok's action to defeat her. Containment
and imprisonment is our first option thanks to things like
stilled silver and oceanstone containment cuffs, but as you've
no doubt seen, there are many powerful beings we cannot contain
even with the best technology on our side. We already have a
hard enough time keeping prisoners contained on a good day with
some of the powers we've seen. And those like Genus have proven
the faults of that system of thinking if one has connections to
others no matter how defensible our forces are.
