Exiles/London WIP: Goten Nightfall (Alternate Dimension Version)

Nightfall (Alternate Dimension Version)
"I don't start fights. I finish them."
"Eyes of Darkness... Beasts of the Moon's Shadow." - Goten
summoning his shadow familiars.
"I can hunt you down no matter where you run."
"I'm not unfriendly. Just don't be an a*shole."
"In combat, one loss makes you stronger than from one hundred
wins."
"You talk big for someone who can't even sense my presence, let
alone my attacks."
"I'm not a hero. I'm just the guy who shows up when no one else
will."
"If I wanted you dead, you wouldn't be listening to me talk."
"I may not look it, but I do care about people. I do my best to
help people."
"How can you call yourself a warrior? You don't know the first
thing about fighting."
"I am an assassin and ninja first. But information gathering is
my primary specialty."
"My shadow familiars are hungry. It's only me that stands
between you and them."
"We don't hide in the dark. It's the light that hides us. It
shapes and controls the darkness. It's also blinding."
"Shadow Art: Darkness Sword." - Goten using his darkness
ninjutsu to create a blade of shadows from his wrist.
"I can shadow meld without shadows like dark spirits do, but I
don't do it. Just because I'm being cautious. I just don't want
to risk ending up in Xeles's realm. Even men without fear still
fear that realm."
"This is such a strange side of the Multiverse I'm still not
used to being in... You think I'm different from other versions
of me you've met, you're the ones that are weird to me because
you're not like the ones I've met."
"Everything in this world connects to the Shadow Realm through
shadows... And my eyes can see everything through that darkness.
I can see the moves you make, the techniques you use, by
filtering out light and seeing only the shadows." - Goten using
his Eyes of Darkness.
"When I was young, I was not a very skilled fighter. I trained
and it took a lot of training for me to get anywhere. But one
day, I took a hit by accident that almost killed me during
training. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of darkness. Then
I remember feeling power flowing through me. It was then that I
seemed to find something before I regenerated. I gained the
power of my dark state. It's like the opposite of a divine
state, but instead of divine power, I gained dark power. Neither
power is good or evil, they're just different ends of the
spectrum."
"I am an Exile now. But I used to be part of the Multiversal
Guardians. But after the original Exiles were wiped out, I came
to help them rebuild. They don't know much about our group since
our groups don't collaborate much, but we couldn't stand by and
watch a good group like the Exiles disappear from the
multiverse. There are groups like theirs and ours across the
multiverse since it's such a big place. Your corner of it is
only a small section of the entire multiverse. There are many
enemies and many allies you'll find in the multiverse." - Goten
on why he joined the Exiles.
When Goten was talking with an Exiles member.
Goten: People say what they really think in the darkness where
they think you can't hear it. That way you never see the knife
coming until it's in your back.
Exiles Member: Speaking of darkness... Tone it down, man. They
say sarcastically.
When the Exiles base was broken into while the Exiles were in
London.
Johnny Cage: I have a reading. It looks like some low level
enemies.
Goten appears from the shadows on the ceiling. From the ceiling,
Goten looks down.
Goten: They're in the main area moving east. You should be able
to lock them down pretty easily.
Johnny Cage: How many times have I told you not to do that? Get
off the ceiling! He says to Goten sarcastically.
After a battle.
After Goten cuts down the enemy, he puts his hands in his
pockets and looks over to the ally.
Goten: Anything broken or cut?
Ally: No. Thanks for saving me... They say nervously.
Goten: Don't mention it... Ever. I don't need people thinking
I'm soft. He says as he casually walks away.
"I like you, kid. You're pretty tough." - Multiversal Guardians
Cad Bane about Goten Nightfall.
"I know you're not thrilled by how the team is coming together.
But I'm sure your little ninja boy will be more than brutal
enough for the rest of us." - Jon Talbain when Johnny Cage first
brought Goten Nightfall in to help them rebuild the Exiles.
"He's the younger brother of Tarich Nightfall. After the death
of most of the Nightfall family at the hands of the hollow
attack, Tarich and his father survived. Tarich's mother was
killed in the hollow attack. Eventually Tarich's father
remarried to another death wraith. The result was Goten
Nightfall. His mother comes from a clan that had special eyes
with strange properties, and Goten still has his father's
family's shadow tamer abilities. He trained to be a lost soul
hunter. Tarich went to form his own team, and Goten is joining
ours." - Kierran Shadowfang (Alternate Kierran Black) telling
Anna Black (Alternate Anna Shadow) about Goten's history when
Goten joined their team in Goten's home universe.
