Honestly Cress wasn’t that concerned about the cold as she
continued walking into town. Her own body heat would be more
than enough, and she could probably use that handy trick she
picked up awhile ago to keep the cold at bay

Alathen walks with her. Alathen: True... I was actually tortured
there for about 10 years. That and the fire pits were the two
places we Seiji were tortured in order to strengthen our
adaptability to extreme levels.

Alathen: Indeed... It was how my kind was created. We were
created through suffering so that we would be stronger. And it
has made us stronger than most humans. Of course... Our own
adaption abilities and strengthening our own abilities also
helped us.

Cress: Well as long as you’re thriving because of it then that’s
all that matters. I really can’t say I know all that much about
your race. I’m much more informed in what some call your sibling
race, the tieflings, since you originate from the same person or
so i’m told.
