RP "A Kingdom in Conflict"

"I can handle Hyperion and Black Sun's heavy hitters... Even if
I can't, I have a line of knights that can handle their own
well. Just focus on finding whatever it is those people came
here for. I don't want those people defiling my kingdom!" Those
were Radu's words to Alathen, who had been called to Radu's
kingdom, the Vowl Kingdom, to help with a problem.
Not many knew about the Vowl Kingdom. It was a secretive place,
where only select few people could ever reach, usually with the
help of Crowley. In this kingdom, humans, supernaturals, and
demi-gods all lived together peacefully, without hatred as the
place was a sanctuary for those seeking to escape the world's
judgement. Those who had heard of it, rarely ever found out how
to actually reach the kingdom thanks to it's special barrier
that would keep out those that would cause ill-intent. Very few
ever made it through the barrier, but those that did were
usually greeted by a beautiful kingdom that was much larger than
people would believe, with a few small cities centered around
the kingdom's capital where Vowl Castle sat at the top of a
hill. The mountains and landscape was somewhat unique, as the
technology of the Vowl Kingdom was not that of the normal world,
but rather, a magic based technology that released a natural
energy into the air to promote the growth of the spirits that
made up the natural world, which in turn helped the environment
become one of the most beautiful in the known world.
However, the problem came after Black Sun and Hyperion found the
Vowl Kingdom, after rumors that a weapon existed in the kingdom
that could kill any god of any pantheon. It was believed that
Radu was safeguarding this weapon, but, in truth, Radu knew
nothing about this rumor. However, strange instances of power
were felt in the kingdom as of late, and this seemed to draw
Hyperion and Black Sun to it. Radu had tried to take care of the
problem himself, but had not found the weapon. The major problem
was that he had to focus on protecting his kingdom from the
groups, and couldn't focus on finding this weapon.
Of course, with those like the Alternate Zeus and Michael, and
Nuadha still in control of Falias, it made sense why Black Sun
and Hyperion wanted this weapon that could theoretically kill
any god with their current attempts to take over the world and,
by extension, take over many of the pantheons of gods in the
world.
Crowley was also interested in this weapon, hoping to get it for
himself, or hoping to get it for Azara or Cress, since they were
more about fighting than he was and would be able to use it
better than him. Alathen had gone ahead to the Vowl Kingdom,
staying hidden, but meeting with Radu. It was Alathen's first
time meeting Radu, as Radu was a big kept secret by Crowley as
one of his three ace-in-the-holes against his struggle with
Lucifer. Alathen had made his way through the kingdom's vibrant
landscape, and was in the city of one of the conflicts.
Alathen walks alone among the bodies and finds a group of Black
Sun and Hyperion members that had fought to the death at what
appeared to be the source of one of the energy outbursts that
had been drawing attention to the kingdom. Alathen goes over two
of the bodies, putting his index fingers to the two foreheads as
he leans down on one knee, one finger on each of the body's
foreheads.
Alathen: Show me what you have seen... He says, reciting a Seiji
spell that let him see the memories of the two bodies. He glows
with Seiji energy, which wasn't too unusual for him as he read
the memories of the people fighting. I see... So they didn't
find the source of the energy... Unfortunate... But probably for
the best. Last thing we need is Hyperion and Black Sun getting
their hands on even more weapons to further their war. He says
as he reads their memories.
As he talks, a group of Hyperion droids walk up from outside a
barrier nearby, and point their guns at Alathen.
Droid: Surrender. Tell us where the source of the energy is.
There's 42 of us. You can't win. It says, trying to get
information from Alathen.
Alathen: Guns aside... You droids are pathetic. You're going to
need an army of at least 4200 to have a chance against me... He
says coldly as he pulls his hood back for a better view of the
area around him, since he knew he'd be fighting. Alathen was
someone who usually saw guns as cowardly weapons, and didn't
like the droids of Hyperion that were designed to be disposable
soldiers. Come and fight... If you're prepared to be one with
oblivion. He says as he readies Seiji magic to fight.
As he talks, what look like robotic soldiers come into view, and
point their wrist canons at Alathen. The sleek black "machine"
seem similar to the one that were produced by Ragnorok, known as
the Anubis soldiers. However, these are much more powerful
models, produced by Black Sun originally as forces for Anubis.
Anubis Soldier: You will surrender to Black Sun... Or you will
be destroyed. We have a group of 50. It says to Alathen.
Alathen: So... Hyperion and Black Sun... This might actually be
fun. He says with a cold expression, which was common for him
when he was enjoying himself, since Seiji expressed emotions
differently than most people. Two sets of disgraceful warriors.
I'll show you how a true warrior fights.
Droid: Even if you could fight off an army... Calculations show
you won't be able to handle getting attacked from two sides by
yourself. Surrender to Hyperion. It says to Alathen.

A slightly overly annoyed grunt reached Alathen’s ears as a
burst of divine arcane energy took out about twenty of the
mechanical creatures. The blast didn’t focus on either group,
but it did strategically slip around Alathen in the process.
Clearly the source wasn’t interested in hurting him that or they
had known better to. He could pick up on two familiar aura’s,
Muriel and Crowley, yet it didn’t seem specifically like either
of one them who he had met before. It was the same and yet
vastly different.

Alathen notices the blast, curious about who Cress was since
he'd never met Cress, but assumed that she was close to Crowley.
Alathen: So... Did Crowley send you? Or are you curious about
this "god-killer" weapon as well? He says, looking over towards
where he sensed the blast coming from. He definitely knew the
aura as a child of Crowley, since he had met Azara in the past,
even if it was slightly different since Azara was quite
different in how she manifested her angel and demon power. He
didn't know much about Crowley and Muriel beyond what he'd been
told by Crowley, but Alathen had researched Crowley enough to
know that Crowley had three children in his lifetime, one of
which was dead, since it was a child Crowley had as a human, but
the two that were left were both angel/demon hybrids.
The robots look, curiously, trying to track down the person who
shot through their forces, knowing there was a second person to
contend with.

Cress: Call it a bit of both. Crowley did send me, but I agreed
to go out of personal curiosity. You must be Alathen. The Seiji.
Daddy’s told me a lot about you. Cressida had this cold
calculated look on her face as she strolled through the path she
opened up for herself towards Alathen. Her voice had a slightly
playful teasing edge to it especially when she talks about
Crowley telling her of Alathen. She seemed mostly unconcerned
about the robots on her walk.

Alathen: I heard a little about you. Met your sister when
Lucifer tried to kill your father a while back... Not many
people know about my kind. He says in a somewhat cold tone. Of
course, since he was a Seiji, Cress would likely know that was
normally a good sign for Seiji. He was also not concerned about
the robots, seeing them as more of an inconvenience
Anubis Soldier: Surrender or be killed.
Alathen: Yeah, yeah, shut up... He says to the robot. He then
turns to Cress. I can handle these guys... But I don't mind
sharing if you want to get in on the fun. From what I
understand, you're as much a warrior as your mother is.

Her eyes roll back briefly in her skull the moment that stupid
programmed voice reaches her ears. Cress: Yes I’m quite the
fighter myself. More so than my father or my sister. My name is
Cressida, but most people just shorten that to Cress. Now I
think I’d love to get rid of the sad little pieces of scrap
metal just because they’re annoying.

Alathen: That they are... Robots always disgust me... Made by
people who refuse to fight themselves. A cowardly tactic.
Anyway... Nice to meet you, Cress. You already seem to know my
name. He says as he summons his sword, Crimson Dusk, ready to
face down the robots.
Both side ready their weapons, and start firing on Cress and
Alathen. The droids had their blasters with fired small laser
bolts while the Anubis soldiers had wrist cannons with fired
rapid-fire energy blasts that were designed to blast opponents.
Of course, between Alathen and Cress, and their magic, they
would have plenty of ways to protect themselves.

Cress feeling that Alathen could hold his own dispatching the
robots throws up an arcane barrier to reflect the bullets. It
would require most of her concentration until she got it
stabilized enough to hold on its own. Nothing was gonna touch
either of them for the moment being though.

Alathen also works on fighting a group on his own, in which he
uses his own Seiji magic to deflect the shots fired at him.
The robots are mostly disposable, so they're not too easy to
destroy, but towards the back of both groups are more powerful
robots, laying in wait to attack for the disposable pawns to be
destroyed before attacking, as per their programming.

With the barrier stabilize Cress pulls out her sword and begins
to cut her way through opposite to Alathen. She weaves magic
through ever slash causing a ripple effect of magical explosions
that take out several around the initial one she attacked.
