Vobu uses his earth manipulation to counter her earth
manipulation, the demonic and divine countering each other,
leaving Vobu open so that Dovelthain managed to sneak up behind
him and slashes Vobu, leaving him open for Danae to hit him from
the front as Vobu was trying to recover.

Danae's slash seems to trigger the blade's Getsuga ability, and
blasts Vobu alongside Dovelthain's powerful wicked energy
slash/blast from his sword. Vobu is seemingly destroyed, as the
scythe falls to the ground, but the scythe quickly flies up as
Vobu reforms above them, having used demonic telekinesis to
summon the weapon back to him, having reformed after his body
being destroyed. He fires a blast of dark energy spears
downward, creating a huge collection of them that were hard to
see due to the rain as he had them rain down on Danae and
Dovelthain.

Danae cursed in Creole as she try her best to evade them. After
being hit by a few of them, Danae use her magic and her two
headed dragon sword to form a light barrier above her. Drake's
magic did help her out. She also made some room in case
Dovelthain needs to take cover.

Dovelthain tried to use a wave of wicked energy to block, but
some of the spears pierce through, causing him to end up having
to go under the light defense as he pulls the spears out of his
shoulders.
Vobu: I admit... That one actually hurt... But I'd expect
nothing less from a soul reaper sword... He says as he lands on
the ground not too far away from them after the attack is
finished.

Danae begin to cover for Dovelthain by sending an splinter like
energy slash at Vobu with the soul reaper sword.

Dovelthain tries to fire a blast of wicked energy alongside her
attack, hoping to hit Vobu. Vobu slashes his scythe, firing a
massive slashing wave of darkness using both blades, which fired
as a double powered wave of demonic darkness. The attacks all
collide and explode as they all hit each other.

Danae create a shield glyph to try to block the shockwave
explosion but it shattered the glyph and shove her backwards,
making her drop one of her blades.
Danae: Okay... that one stings... Ow...

Dovelthain tries to defend himself, but he ends up having his
demon turn back to demon form so that the demon wouldn't be hit
by the wave and damaged, since it was easier for his demon to
die while in sword form. Dovelthain: Well... That went about as
well as could be expected... At least we know we can match him
working together...
Vobu: For now at least. I can definitely tell you've both gotten
stronger. I'll need to do some training myself after this to get
back into the swing of things. He says with a smile.

Danae begin to pull herself together and stand back up. Her
regeneration plus Drake's magic made it almost completely
bearable to fight Vobu again once her partner is ready.
