RP: "The Return of Vobu"

(Closed RP (At least to start) for [member=2]Coolcat207[/member]
as Danae and probably her Vobu Tribe member)
Ever since the Tribe of Vobu had suddenly started preparing a
spell to break the seal on Vobu, Danae's group had some tough
luck trying to track down the Tribe of Vobu. However, eventually
they got word of them being in the desert in Africa. When they
arrived, the group could feel something off about the area, and
it wasn't just due to the a huge sandstorm that was in the area.
Joined by Danae, Drake and Ichigo were with her as well, trying
to help her on her quest to track down the Tribe of Vobu. As
they went through the sandstorm, they'd eventually come to an
area that proved they were in the right place.
What looked like a line, the sand storm stopped, as though
hitting an invisible barrier, and they walked into a rain storm,
pouring down rain with lightning around them that seemed to be
striking rather unusually. Of course, it didn't take the group
long to realize something was amiss with the sudden change.
Drake: Seriously?! We come out of a sand storm into a rain
storm?! That's bullshit! He yells, having a hard time talking as
he was trying to keep the rain out of his face. He and Ichigo
were wearing cloaks, but now they were soaked, which made them
very muddy after having just come from the sand storm.
Waiting for them at that point though was Dovelthain Hazeldine,
who seems to look over at them, not bothered by the rain.
Dovelthain: This is what happens when a mass of dark spirits
congregate to one area. Vobu's followers have probably already
started their ritual. He yells to them, almost drowned out by
the storm.
Drake: Are you an enemy or ally? He says, since he couldn't see
Dovelthain very well.
Dovelthain: I am not your enemy, but I'm not a friend either...
I'm just someone with a similar enemy. He says as he motions to
the group, then points at Danae. If anyone... I am her ally. At
least for today. But we must hurry or we'll be too late... I
fear we might be too late already. He says as he starts walking,
trying to fight the storm.
Drake: If we end up fighting here... I'm screwed out of my fire
element... I doubt I can even generate a spark in this storm...
He says to the group before waiting for Danae.

Although she's soaked, Danae use her magic to create a giant
glyph over her head. She created it to work as an umbrella for
herself and the guys, Drake and Ichigo. Like them, she's wearing
a cloak but it's not her favorite thankfully. She continue to
walk alongside with the men, fighting the storm while speaking
as clearly as she can.
Danae: We still need to try anyway! If the spirits forbid Vobu
gets freed from the seal, I have a few spells that might either
weaken him or throw him off. But I need time. Especially since
every freak in that blasted cult wants my head! Dovelthain, did
you come alone or do you bring anyone else here like a clansman
of yours? We need all the help we can get.

Dovelthain: Just be careful. Vobu is the type that is likely to
have new skills of his own. When sealed, he often comes up with
new dark arts. I do have a group led by Spitfire. He's going to
take out the small fry, but we're going to have to take out the
big fish. Apparently they have some fairly heavy hitters. They
won't be able to start the attack until we arrive or the tougher
members will just mow them down without them making any progress
to stop the ritual. He says as he walks, holding his sword in
case they were to be attacked. Although considering the lack of
resistance by the spirits, I'd say they're either too
intimidated to face us, or they've probably already succeeded in
the ritual that's breaking your seal. He explains to Danae.
Drake: Great... I was hoping we could just kill these assholes
and call it a day... He says with a sigh.
Ichigo looks up at the sky for a moment as they head towards the
location. Ichigo growls a bit Ichigo: Spirits presence...
Getting stronger.
Dovelthain: They must be close to done with the ritual.

Danae: Damn, we need to stop them now. So if anyone got a decent
plan, now is the time to pull it out. Words can't even describe
the crap I had to go through to stop this rabbit. Though I've
heard that there are some half bloods from the Loa pantheon that
are volunteering to help us out. Well, those who are still alive
and can fight anyway. One of those savages from that tribe
slaughtered more than 25% of the Loa demigods. Most were barely
in their mid to late teens. Danae grits teeth in anger as she
picks up the pace Which is more than enough of an obvious reason
to stop them. I... also heard that they attempted to attack
Hazeldine members as well... most were fledglings. One powerful
Hazeldine vampire went MIA but they won't tell me who.

Dovelthain: I have had little success in beating him on my
own... If we face him together, then we might have a chance. My
demon can attack him on the spiritual plane he's on, but we're
going to have to destroy enough of his incarnations first. Once
that happens, his defense will weaken. But I cannot use all of
my power AND attack him on the spiritual plane. But that means
your two companions are going to have to stop their two main
heavy hitters while my clan takes on the lesser clan members. He
explains to Danae. One thing is certain... We cannot just seal
Vobu again. Each time he returns stronger when he does break
out. We have to destroy him for good. The only way to do that is
to destroy him in spirit form on the spiritual plane. Or force
him to take his human form, and use something that can destroy
him since he's more directly manifested in the physical realm as
a human form. Despite the fact that Danae fought Vobu, she
probably hadn't seen his human form, since he hadn't used it in
their last battle.
Drake: Well... At least I don't gotta fight the demon rabbit for
now... I'll take some darkness users over fighting that thing
after what I've been told about him. He says sarcastically.

Danae: I understand. Some of these people are major assholes to
the point that they will not be afraid to turn to sick tactics
in order to achieve their goals. So don't let them get to you.
Danae was saying that to mainly Drake and Ichigo. She pause what
she was saying as she looks forward. She knows that she and the
others are close. So Danae try to move forward with all of her
might. Her own shadow comes to life so it can help out, though
it doesn't look too happy.
Danae: Let's just get this over with.

As they reach the center of the storm, they'd find a small
settlement, which looked like a fairly small town. As they
entered the town, they'd see bodies that appeared to be drained
of blood.
Drake: Shit... This is gruesome... They have no blood... Does
that mean we're too late?
Dovelthain: I'm guessing the Tribe of Vobu gathered all the
blood to feed Vobu when he is released. Or is using it in the
ritual to summon him. Either way... We need to reach the center
of town. He says as he walks past the corpses treating them more
as obstacles in his path than dead bodies, not giving a second
thought to them since they were dead.
Drake: Glares at Dovelthain and then looks to Danae. Can we
trust this guy? Something about him rubs me the wrong way... He
whispers to Danae quietly.

Danae sigh softly as her shadow slightly shake her head in a
disapproving manner due to the mistreatment of the dead. The
shadow stop and fold her arms coldly as she listen to Danae
whispering back.
Danae: We've dealt with people like him before as allies.
besides, this is temporary. Just focus on the mission and try
not to be an annoyed smartass. Okay?
Danae makes a small yet reassuring smile to Drake to at least
calm him down. She then continue to walk, being careful to not
disturb the bodies since she is more respectful of the dead than
Dovelthain is. The shadow makes a small yet vexed sigh as it
float next to Drake and Ichigo, agreeing with Drake about
Dovelthain.

Drake: Not being annoyed... I'll consider it. Not being a
smartass... Absolutely not. You know you wouldn't have me any
other way. He says jokingly as he follows Danae.
Ichigo follows the group silently, while Dovelthain continues
walking through towards the center of town.

Danae laugh softly at Drake's comment as her shadow jokingly
roll her eyes.
