       "My old man (Iblis) and Lucifer are strong. But I will one day
       surpass them."

       real blood magic."
       "If God can have a church of followers, there's no reason demons

       his forearm open with a knife and smiles as he manipulates his
       blood. Feel the pain, and then harness it."

       on) Danae Levesque.

       friends.
       "You humans blame demons for everything that goes wrong in your
       lives. 'The devil made me do it.' That's not how it works. We
       make deals, we seek humans, but we aren't nearly as involved as
       you think. You humans live by your desires, do evil, and then
       blame us. But the blame is usually on you. We don't have to do
       anything when you're already on your way to hell."
       "One thing Christians do right: They know how to charm people.
       If you want to sell something to someone, you have to be able to
       convince them that it is beneficial for them. So I took that and
       now I convince people to embrace sin and desire. I don't force
       them into anything. I just offer them what they want: To stop
       denying what makes them truly happy. And eventually they become
       a part of the Church of Demons without even realizing it before
       they've even set foot in the door."

       Ally: I dunno. It's like asking you why you hate angels. You
       don't know why, you just do.
       Zarek: Gets confused look. I know exactly why I hate angels...
       They won't stop trying to kill me. He says sarcastically.
       During a conversation with an ally and they were talking about a
       demon.
       Ally: You should ask her to join you.
       Zarek: I did. And she shot me. He says jokingly.
       Ally: And you let her get away with that?!
       Zarek chuckles.
       Zarek: I thought it was sweet. He says jokingly.
       "Well... He's got some personality for an evil demon at least.
       Guy is a smooth-talker. Not as much as some of his friends, but
       he knows how to get on people's good side."
       "If there were a demon ranking system, Zarek would rank high
       above all the other Jahannam demons, save Iblis himself. He's
       leagues above the other ifrit and djinns. You can't hurt him.
       And even if you do manage to hurt him, he'll just weaponize his
       own blood. Blood or hellfire... That's how you die usually when
       you fight him."
