“People think the mafia is about power. They’re wrong. It’s
about family. Power fades, money moves, territory shifts… but
the ones who stand beside you when the world turns to ash?
That’s what matters. I don’t fight for the Moretti name. I fight
for Alessandro. For the ones who bleed with me. You come after
them, you answer to me — and I don’t give second warnings.”
       ~ Marco DeLuca
“Marco doesn’t waste words. He carries them like blades — sharp,
quiet, and only drawn when necessary. Most men mistake his
silence for coldness. They don’t realize he’s listening,
measuring, deciding whether you’re worth the breath it takes to
speak. But when he does talk… everyone listens. Even me.
He fights like a wild thing carved from lightning and shadow,
but he protects like a brother who’s already buried too many.
People fear him because they see the monster. I trust him
because I see the man. And on the rare nights he actually
laughs? That’s when I remember he’s not just my
       second‑in‑command. He’s the one person I’d want
beside me when the world ends.”
       ~ Alessandro Moretti
“They say Marco doesn’t talk because he doesn’t need to. One
look from him is enough to make a man rethink his entire life.
Some swear they’ve seen lightning crawl under his skin when he’s
angry. Others say his shadow moves even when he’s standing
still. But the one thing everyone agrees on? If Marco DeLuca
decides you’re a threat to the Morettis… you won’t see him
coming. You’ll just feel the dark close in, and then it’s over.”
       ~ Whispered rumors
“You know, Marco may look like the strong silent type, but trust
me — he’s not silent because he’s mysterious. He’s silent
because he’s judging every stupid thing the rest of us say. If
he ever rolls his eyes at you? Congratulations. You’ve
officially joined the list of people he tolerates.”
~ Alessandro making a joke about Marco
Alessandro: You know… for someone who can tear a man in half
with one hand, you drink whiskey like a poet contemplating the
moon. He sips his whiskey with a lazy grin.
Marco: I’m contemplating how you talk too much.
Alessandro: Ah, there he is. The great philosopher Marco DeLuca.
Tell me, what wisdom does the silent storm have for me tonight?
Marco: …Stop calling me a storm.
Alessandro: But you are one. A very dramatic one. With
       lightning. And brooding.
       Marco: I don’t brood.
Alessandro: Marco, you brood so hard the furniture gets nervous.
Marco takes a slow sip, eyes narrowing — not angry, just
pretending to be. Alessandro smirks, swirling his glass. Marco:
       You’re lucky I tolerate you.
Alessandro: Tolerate? Please. You adore me. I’m the only one who
can make you relax without someone dying first.
Marco huffs — the closest he gets to a laugh. Marco: Keep
       talking and that might change.
Alessandro: There it is. A threat wrapped in affection. You
really have mellowed out over the last century.
Marco leans back, letting his head rest against the chair, amber
eyes half‑lidded. Marco: Only with you.
Alessandro’s smile softens — just a little, just enough for
someone who knows him. Alessandro: Good. Because the family
       needs you. I need you.
Marco doesn’t respond right away. He just clinks his glass
lightly against Alessandro’s. Marco: Then drink your whiskey and
       stop being sentimental.
Alessandro: Never. It annoys you too much.
Marco finally lets out a quiet, rare laugh — low, warm, and gone
in a second. Marco: …Yeah. It does.
They sit in comfortable silence, two ancient monsters who’ve
seen empires rise and fall — but somehow, this quiet moment in a
dim lounge feels like the safest place in the world.

       Species: Werepyre (Hybrid)
       Gender: Male
       Height: 6'7"
       Weight: 213 lbs
       Organization: Moretti Mafia
       ~ Rank: Second-in-command/Enforcer
       Known Family and Friends:
~ Father: Vittorio DeLuca (Deceased - Toreador - Killed by
       supernatural hunters)
~ Mother: Maria DeLuca (Deceased - Ironfang Pack - Killed by
       supernatural hunters)
~ Friend/Boss: Alessandro Moretti (Alive - Moretti Mafia - The
       Don)
       Abilities:
       Special Techniques:
       1. Shadowstep Blitz
Marco dissolves into a streak of living darkness, reappearing
behind his target in a flash of amber light. The strike lands
before the enemy even realizes he moved.
       2. Luminous Fang Burst
He channels pure light into his fists or fangs, releasing a
blinding shockwave that burns supernatural foes and disorients
       humans without killing them.
       3. Nightfall Wings
Marco spreads spectral wings of shadow and lightning, creating a
vortex that drags enemies off their feet while he hovers above
       them like a storm‑born reaper.
       4. Thunderclaw Rend
Lightning crackles along his claws as he slashes, each strike
sending out slicing arcs of electricity that cut through armor
       and magical barriers.
       5. Eclipse Guard
A rotating shield of darkness and light forms around him —
darkness absorbs attacks, light reflects them back with double
       force.
       6. Stormbound Descent
Marco launches into the air, gathers lightning in both hands,
and dive‑bombs the battlefield, releasing a shockwave that
fractures the ground in a perfect circle.
       7. Blood‑Moon Flashfire
He ignites his aura with red‑gold lightning, temporarily
boosting his speed to near invisibility. Every movement leaves
afterimages made of shadow and light.
       8. Umbra Chains
Darkness solidifies into whip‑like tendrils that bind
enemies. Once restrained, Marco channels a bolt of lightning
through the chains for a devastating finishing strike.
       9. Radiant Howl
A hybrid werepyre howl infused with light magic — it stuns
enemies, dispels illusions, and weakens dark creatures. The
sound vibrates like a cathedral bell struck by a storm.
       10. Celestial Execution
Marco summons a sphere of compressed light and darkness between
his palms. When released, it erupts into a spiraling beam of
lightning that obliterates anything in its path. His ultimate
technique — used only when absolutely necessary.
       Finishing Moves:
       Finale Technique: ECLIPSE ANNIHILATION:
The Setup — The Calm Before the Storm
Marco stands perfectly still, long dark hair drifting in the
charged air. His amber eyes dim to molten gold as both light and
darkness begin to coil around him. The battlefield grows
unnaturally quiet — even enemies feel the pressure shift.
A faint crackle of lightning dances across his fingertips.
He whispers: “You should’ve stayed in the shadows.”
Phase I — The Eclipse Ignition
Marco raises one hand toward the sky and one toward the ground.
       Darkness pours upward like smoke.
Light pours downward like molten sunfire.
The two forces collide around him, forming a swirling
black‑and‑gold sphere that expands into a halo. His
wings erupt — not fully physical, but made of shadow and
lightning, stretching wide like a celestial predator.
       The ground beneath him fractures.
Phase II — The Storm Ascension
Marco launches into the air, leaving a spiraling column of
darkness behind him. Lightning wraps around his arms like living
serpents. His silhouette becomes a streak of gold and black
       against the sky.
He hovers at the center of a growing eclipse — a false sun of
light magic devoured by a ring of shadow.
Enemies below feel their strength drain, their vision blur,
       their instincts scream.
       Phase III — Judgment Spiral
Marco crosses his arms over his chest.
The eclipse behind him collapses inward.
A massive vortex of lightning-infused darkness forms around him,
spinning faster and faster until it becomes a roaring spiral. He
dives — a comet of shadow and gold — twisting through the air
       with impossible speed.
Every rotation sends out slicing rings of energy that tear
       through anything they touch.
       Phase IV — Annihilation Impact
Marco slams into the ground with both fists.
       The world goes silent.
       Then—
A shockwave of pure eclipse energy erupts outward in a perfect
       expanding circle.
       Darkness devours.
       Light incinerates.
       Lightning fractures the earth.
Enemies caught in the radius are lifted off their feet,
suspended for a heartbeat in a blinding flash…
and then obliterated in a burst of crackling gold and black.
Aftermath — The Werepyre King’s Shadow
As the dust settles, Marco rises slowly, wings folding behind
him. The ground around him is scorched in a perfect eclipse
pattern — a black ring surrounding a glowing center.
His amber eyes return to normal.
Moretti Family Execution Technique: THE BLOOD‑ECLIPSE
       VERDICT:
Used only by the Don and his Second — Alessandro and Marco.
       I. The Summons — “Stand Before the Eclipse.”
The condemned is brought into a circular chamber lit only by
       candles and moonlight.
The Moretti crest — a wolf devouring a sun — is carved into the
       floor.
Alessandro or Marco steps forward, their shadows stretching
       unnaturally long.
       The air grows heavy.
       The candles flicker.
       The moonlight dims.
The werepyre aura begins to rise.
       II. The Eclipse Seal
Both Alessandro and Marco extend a hand toward the floor.
       Darkness spills from Alessandro’s palm.
       Light spills from Marco’s.
The two forces spiral together, forming a rotating eclipse sigil
       beneath the condemned’s feet.
The sigil binds them — body, magic, and soul — preventing
       escape.
       The Moretti soldiers kneel.
       This is sacred.
       III. The Judgment Howl
Alessandro unleashes a low, resonant werepyre howl — not a
       scream, but a command.
It vibrates through the bones of everyone present.
The condemned feels their strength drain.
       Their heartbeat slows.
       Their vision blurs.
Marco steps behind them, wings half‑unfurled, lightning
       crackling faintly along his arms.
       IV. The Dual Sentence
Alessandro speaks the ancient Moretti words:
       “Luce e Ombra ti giudicano.”
       Light and Shadow judge you.
Marco follows with the second line:
       “E l’Eclissi ti reclama.”
       And the Eclipse claims you.
The sigil flares — half blinding gold, half devouring black.
       V. The Execution — Blood‑Eclipse Rend
The moment the sigil reaches full brightness, the brothers
       strike together.
       Alessandro
Unleashes a wave of pure darkness, shaped like a wolf’s jaws,
       snapping shut around the condemned.
       Marco
Channels a spear of lightning‑infused radiance, piercing
through the darkness at the exact same moment.
The two forces collide inside the target —
       light tearing upward,
       darkness crushing inward,
       lightning detonating at the core.
       There is no scream.
       No blood.
Just a burst of eclipse energy that erases the condemned from
       existence.
VI. The Aftermath — The Moretti Mark
When the energy fades, only a black‑and‑gold eclipse
scorch mark remains on the floor.
       A symbol.
       A warning.
       A promise.
The Moretti soldiers bow their heads.
       Alessandro turns away first.
       Marco follows.
       The execution is complete.
He brushes a strand of hair from his face. “Consider this
       mercy.”
       Weaknesses:
       Weapons:
       Background:
       How Their Paths Crossed
A hundred years ago, Rome was a city of marble, smoke, and
secrets. The Morreti family was already powerful, but Alessandro
       — young, brilliant, and terrifyingly ambitious — was carving out
his own empire in the underworld.
Marco, meanwhile, lived in the margins:
a lone hybrid creature hiding behind a human face, drifting from
city to city, never staying long enough to form ties. His amber
eyes and predatory aura made people uneasy, but in Rome, that
       unease was currency.
       Their meeting wasn’t fate.
       It was collision.
The Night They Met — The Bridge of Angels
It happened on the Ponte Sant’Angelo, under a moon so bright it
       silvered the Tiber.
Marco had just dispatched a group of hired killers who’d
ambushed him — men sent by a rival family who mistook him for an
easy target. Their bodies lay crumpled in the shadows, throats
torn in ways no blade could explain.
Alessandro arrived moments later, flanked by two Moretti
enforcers. He’d been tracking the killers, not Marco — but what
       he found stopped him cold.
       Marco stood alone, unarmed, calm…
       and surrounded by corpses.
       Alessandro didn’t draw his gun.
He smiled. “You’re either a monster,” he said, “or the most
       useful man in Rome.”
Marco replied with equal calm: “Why not both.”
That was the moment Alessandro decided he wanted him.
The Test — Blood, Loyalty, and Fire
       Alessandro didn’t trust easily.
       Marco didn’t trust at all.
So the Don-in-the-making offered a test: help him take down a
rival capo who’d been bleeding the Morreti territory dry.
Marco accepted — not for money, but because Alessandro looked at
him without fear. Without disgust. Without pretending he was
       normal.
       The raid was brutal.
Marco moved like a shadow with fangs.
Alessandro moved like a general with a gun.
By dawn, the rival family’s warehouse was burning, and
Alessandro had seen Marco’s true nature — the flash of fangs,
the unnatural strength, the way wounds closed too quickly.
Instead of recoiling, Alessandro simply said: “If you stand with
       me, Marco, Rome will kneel.”
       Marco answered: “Then let’s begin.”
The Night Alessandro Revealed the Truth
Rome, 1929 — The Moretti Estate, Hidden Below the Catacombs
Marco had followed Alessandro through the winding stone
corridors beneath the Moretti estate, the air thick with dust
and old secrets. Torches flickered along the walls, casting long
shadows that danced like restless spirits.
Marco’s amber eyes glowed faintly in the dark. “You’ve been
avoiding my questions,” Marco said, voice low. “Your men… they
       don’t smell human.”
Alessandro didn’t slow. He only smiled — that sharp, knowing
smile Marco had come to recognize as the prelude to something
dangerous. They reached a massive iron door carved with wolves,
bats, and a sun split in half. Alessandro placed his palm
against the metal. It hissed open.
Inside was a vast underground hall — stone pillars, crimson
banners, and dozens of Moretti soldiers standing in formation.
Their eyes glowed in shades of gold, red, and silver. Some had
       elongated canines. Some had claws.
       None were human.
       Marco stiffened.
Alessandro stepped forward, his voice echoing through the
chamber. “Marco DeLuca,” he said, “welcome to the true Moretti
       family.”
       The soldiers bowed their heads.
Alessandro turned to Marco, his expression softening in a way
Marco had never seen. “You thought you were alone in this world.
A creature caught between moon and blood. But you’re not. Not
       anymore.”
Marco’s heartbeat thundered. He scanned the room — the scents,
the power, the unmistakable hybrid aura. “They’re like us,”
       Marco whispered.
Alessandro nodded. “Every Moretti soldier is a werepyre. Born or
made. Loyal to the bloodline. Loyal to me. And now… loyal to
       you.”
Marco’s jaw tightened. “Why tell me now?”
Alessandro stepped closer, lowering his voice. “Because you’ve
earned it. Because you’ve proven yourself. And because the
family needs a second-in-command who understands what we are.”
He placed a hand on Marco’s shoulder — firm, warm,
brotherly.“You are not my monster, Marco. You are my equal.”
The soldiers pounded their fists to their chests in unison.
       THUD. THUD. THUD.
       A salute.
       A welcome.
       A vow.
Marco felt something he hadn’t felt in a century: belonging. He
bared his fangs in a rare smile. “Then let’s build an empire.”
Alessandro’s eyes gleamed crimson-gold. “Side by side.”
And in that underground hall, beneath the ancient bones of Rome,
the Moretti werepyre dynasty truly began.
