Multi-versal Race Filename: Holy Vampires (Update)
"You, in anger, seek to destroy... Holy vampires, at peace, seek
to protect." Father Hei Darkfire
"Those that choose the path of righteousness can be purified
through the holy baptism of fire... And if you choose a path of
evil, then Heaven have mercy on you if you face one of us." -
Father Hei Darkfire
Theme: Bloody Tears (

)
London Bio: There have always been those not happy with their
nature or their powers, or those seeking a path of redemption.
One such example are some versions of Hei Darkfire, who often go
on to purify themselves. One such example is the alternate
Father Hei who would eventually join the Interdimensional Order
of the Dragon alongside his sister and brother-in-law (Nightbane
and Kira Darkfire). In the Olympus universe, Father Hei comes
from a world much like Olympus, and he also became a holy
vampire. In most universes, the church develops a type of
formula that infuses purification magic into the body, and
purifies a being completely until they become a purely positive
being. Holy vampires are the result of vampires taking that
formula, or being purified by those like Father Hei who gain the
ability to purify others (which is a rare ability among some who
gain the power from the purification formula, whether it's
through direct conversion or being born with such power). Holy
werewolves are the same, in which they are werewolves that
become purified and become holy creatures. Both holy vampires
and holy werewolves retain many of their abilities, and most of
their abilities are converted into holy abilities. Typically,
this is most well known among alternates, though there are
universes like 30XX and the Exiles world where human versions of
Hei became purified fallen angels instead of holy vampires. Once
purified, holy vampires and holy werewolves become new
creatures, which become holy in nature, and usually join the
church as a result of their purification.
There are many holy creatures who have been purified over the
years. However, holy vampires and holy werewolves remain among
the most well known, with lesser known creatures like purified
fallen angels and holy werepyres being found in the multiverse.
However, not only have holy vampires and holy werewolves been
converted into holy creatures, but their conversion also gives
them special new abilities that they can use, and even more
abilities they can learn through the Church and other holy
vampires and holy werewolves. Holy vampires and holy werewolves
have a number of special arts that they can use, which are holy
powers that were developed by Father Hei and the church. Holy
vampires and holy werewolves are able to fight with many holy
weapons, powers and tools that are available to them, with
Father Hei having developed entire holy skillsets for those who
want to make the most out of their new holy power after studying
how the holy formula affects other beings. And that is not to
mention the holy arts that Father Hei developed, in which he had
help from a soul reaper in learning and converting kido arts
into special holy arts that any holy user can learn (not just
holy vampires and holy werewolves). And there are other arts
developed by other holy users that holy vampires and holy
werewolves can use as well. And that's also not to mention the
fact that the church can make holy weapons for the holy vampires
and holy werewolves to use once they are purified and start
working for the church.
Race: There are a number of ways to become a holy vampire. The
first is the same way that Father Hei did, where Father Hei
became a holy vampire by taking the purification formula that he
helped the church develop in his world (which was recreated in
the London universe's church). A holy vampire can be created
through taking this same formula the same way Father Hei did.
The second is to be purified by someone like Father Hei.
Specifically, there are some holy vampires and holy werewolves
that have the ability to purify, such as Father Hei who has the
ability of his White Flame Spear that can purify people into
holy creatures. However, this requires one to not only find a
holy creature with the purification, but they also must be 100%
sure they want to change natures. The third is to be born of
holy vampire parents, in which some like Tiffany Diablo-Anderson
have been born. When it comes to inheriting the power and nature
of a holy vampire, there can also be hybrid holy vampires as
well, just like with other vampires. Another thing to note is
that those purified and becoming holy vampires lose their
ability to use negative energies in their body and convert their
power to pure positive/holy power. Holy vampires lose their
affinity for the darkness and weakness to light, and instead
gain an affinity for light (meaning they can walk around in the
daytime if they can't normally) with a weakness to darkness. In
this manner, it is impossible (At least, currently) for holy
vampires to wield powers like demonic power or other "negative"
abilities, even among hybrids. Even among hybrids, those with
holy vampire power gain pure positive natures that make their
power purely positive. Any powers one has at the time of
purification will either become holy equivalent powers (or
something close to it), or the power will be lost/unable to be
used if there is no holy equivalent (Though this is rare since
there are usually holy equivalents of almost any power out
there). Luckily, holy vampires can still use whatever Clan
training they possess, such as using their clan vampire
disciplines (though some may change depending on the holy
vampire with their new power). In addition to the power change
though, holy vampires also gain access to some holy vampire
specific abilities that aren't specific to normal vampires (some
of which do have to be trained with a knowledgeable holy vampire
in order to utilize).
Weapons:
- Holy Weapons: Whether one is a holy vampire or holy werewolf,
there are a number of holy weapon options available in the
Church. Whether it's having someone make weapons, or some making
their own weapons, there are a lot of options and possibilities
for weapons that holy vampires and holy werewolves can gain or
have made. Typically, many wield special holy weapons, which are
much easier to make in the church with the amount of holy users.
For the most part, many holy vampires and holy werewolves wield
some form of holy weapon, usually empowered with specific
abilities. For the most part, each holy vampire/holy werewolf
will often have unique weapons and items, usually tailored to
their own specific combat style and to whatever they fight on a
regular basis. For example, one holy vampire used a holy vampire
killer whip that was able to kill normal vampires, while another
may use a holy sword designed to kill unholy creatures. In
addition, there are many that gain demon killer weapons, thanks
to the church having access to runes and spells that can be used
to recreate ancient demon killer weapons. There are many methods
to making weapons, such as holy vampires and holy werewolves
making weapons through magic enchantment which tends to be
popular among holy vampires and holy werewolves thanks to their
holy magic power that they gain through their purification.
Another popular method is using their holy power to bless
weapons that they use, such as a vampire using a sword may bless
the sword into a holy weapon. And of course, there are plenty of
other methods to gaining other kinds of holy weapons, in which a
user can also have special weapons made since the church has
plenty of people who can make weapons. Because of the
possibilities, there is no way to sum up all the weapons
available. However, it is worth noting that while holy vampires
do have plenty of options for holy weapons, they cannot wield
unholy weapons like demonic weapons, due to the negative nature.
If a holy vampire or holy werewolf tries, they will find
themselves damaged by simply holding the weapon (unless they're
wearing special gloves to prevent demonic energy burning).
Misc Supernatural Hunter Weapons:
- Other Supernatural Hunter Items/Weapons: Thanks to holy
vampires and holy werewolves equipping themselves as a
supernatural hunters, they have a list of supernatural hunter
weapons that they have available to them, some of which were
designed by Father Hei, and others by other holy users. The
first are sharpened boomerang crosses, which were designed by
Father Hei in his world (and London Kindron also can make these
for holy vampires and holy werewolves as needed). These are
designed to be thrown at opponents, in which the holy power
slices through opponents as a means to take out holy opponents.
When thrown, these boomerang crosses not only slice through
opponents, but they also return to the user when they are thrown
a certain distance. The second set of weapons are small silver
throwing knives, which are more or less what they sound like.
These knives are made of blessed silver, and designed to be
thrown at opponents. When thrown, the holy power of the blessed
silver can interrupt demonic regeneration and can cause holy
energy damage to unholy based or demonic type opponents. The
next set of weapons to use are vials of holy water and holy oil.
The holy water is more or less like it sounds, in which vials of
holy water that can do severe damage against demons, and other
creatures of the night that are unholy in nature when the vials
holy water is splashed on an enemy. These vials are meant to be
thrown at opponents, and then when they burst open, the holy
water is meant to spread over whatever target the vial was
thrown at when the vial is shattered on impact. The holy oil is
mixed with an explosive, where the vial explodes when thrown in
a burst of holy oil fire. Holy oil is best known for it's use
against angels, where angels can be cast out of an area using
holy oil fire bursts (which this vial creates), though it is
often more easily used against demons who it does severe damage
(and can even destroy a demon if used properly). This is another
weapon designed to be thrown at opponents, usually being most
useful against angels and demons. For the most part, holy
vampires and holy werewolves have access to a number of items,
though these are the most common ones that they have and will
carry on them usually aside from their main weapons (See
individual descriptions for each weapon's strengths and
weaknesses)
- Supernatural Hunter Weapon: Holy Silver Knives: These knives
are a must for any supernatural hunter in a dangerous situation.
Having these is a great way to catch an opponent off guard,
especially if they are at medium range. These knives are more or
less like they sound, in which these knives are made of holy
silver. However, the other thing to note about them is that they
are designed to be thrown at opponents as throwing knives.
However, these knives have a grip that can let them be used for
close combat as well, which makes them a great weapon that can
be used multiple ways. However, the main use for these is that
they are meant to be used as expendable throwing knives, in
which most supernatural hunters usually carry a number of these
on their person (The number usually determined by the
supernatural hunter and how many of these they want to keep on
them, as keeping more lets them use more of them, but limits
room for other weapons they may want to carry on their person).
These knives are specifically designed to be thrown at great
speeds, thanks to their special design. When thrown, these
knives move much faster than normal projectiles, especially if
thrown by someone with enhanced strength or speed (Or both).
When used, the holy silver in the knives does holy damage to
enemies, as well as the silver being able to damage anything
that is vulnerable to silver (such as many types of vampires,
werewolves, ghouls and shapeshifters). These knives are great
for combat, and depending on the supernatural hunter, some can
even customize these knives as well to add things like magical
enchantments, spell circles, or enhance the blades with
elemental power or other energy attack powers. Overall, these
are very versatile blades that are useful to almost any
supernatural hunter, and it is always a good idea to have at
least a few of these on hand. However, while these are great
against unholy creatures, they don't do extra damage to holy
power users like angels. These knives also cannot kill demons
normally, though these knives can injure them severely (but
their demonic regeneration will heal their injuries). These
knives are usually normal throwing knives, so they have the same
limitations and weaknesses as normal knives (such as distance
limitations and combat prowess required to use effectively).
- Supernatural Hunter Weapon: Boomerang Crosses: These weapons
are ones that were specially designed, whether it's by Kindron
in London, Father Hei in another universe, or some other holy
user. These crosses are designed like throwing stars, in which
they are forged and then the edges are sharpened to cut
opponents when thrown. Similar to throwing knives, these
boomerang crosses are meant to be thrown at enemies as a
projectile type attack. These boomerang crosses are also blessed
holy weapons, thanks partly to the shape of the weapon and those
that make these typically blessing them during creation. This is
another weapon that is useful to have to throw at opponents to
catch them off guard, and can even be used effectively in close
combat. However, these crosses are meant to be thrown at
opponents specifically, and have a unique aspect to them that
other thrown weapons do not. These crosses blessing has a hidden
feature to them where they will return to the user who threw
them, similar to how boomerangs curve and come back. This makes
them a different type of throwing weapon, as they not only be
used multiple times if the user catches them when they return,
but they can also be used as holy weapons. These boomerang
crosses are sharpened and when they hit an opponent, they slice
through an opponent. When slicing through an oppponent, the
power of the boomerang cross doesn't slow, so it keeps flying
even if an opponent is sliced with it (unless the cross is
knocked out of the air, or it becomes embedded in something).
While a little slower than throwing knives, these boomerangs do
a lot more damage than normal throwing knives, making them a
powerful attack option. And since they return after being
thrown, it is possible to hit an opponent twice in one throw if
they are hit by the first pass, and then get hit again as the
boomerang returns. These are great throwing weapons, but
difficult to master as one has to master the art of both
throwing this bladed weapon and catching it without hurting
oneself. Due to the design, these are hard to catch due to the
blades, and if not caught, they can damage the user too. And
while useful, these boomerang crosses can be knocked out of the
air by opponents as well, or dodged by experienced opponents.
- Supernatural Hunter Weapon: Throwing Axes: This is yet another
throwing weapon, designed to be used by supernatural hunters.
These weapons are specifically designed as a double sided axe
that is meant to be thrown at enemies. This is yet another
weapon made to be a holy weapon, in which the axe blades are
usually blessed and is forged with blessed silver for extra holy
damage. The main use for these is not just throwing at enemies,
but is meant to be thrown at flying enemies. This works best on
enemies that fly using wings, such as vampires and demons. When
an opponent is flying, these axes are thrown to damage the
opponent. These are thrown at an angle, and the axes spin when
thrown correctly. These axes are meant to be thrown in a way
that the path of their travel is not predictable to opponents,
as they are meant to be thrown in a curve away from an opponent,
and then curve back to hit an opponent. These can be thrown from
the side to curve back or they can also be thrown up above an
opponent to then come down on the opponent from above. Usually,
these axes are meant to be used on wings and the blades holy
effect is meant to cut through wings (thus making it so the
flying opponent cannot fly if their wings are damaged). While
they can be thrown at enemies on the ground, these are best used
on aerial enemies due to there being more attack options. And
with the holy damage added to the axe's damage, this can be very
effective in damaging enemies out of melee attack range. These
are easy to use, and can be designed a few different ways
depending on the user. However, while easy to use, these are
extremely difficult to master, as they require precise throwing
to be effective. While hard to predict, these weapons are also
hard to accurately aim by those that don't practice throwing
axes. As one might imagine, it takes careful throwing to throw
an axe. And while these do holy damage like one might expect,
not every creature is vulnerable to the damage these do (as the
holy effects only damage those vulnerable to holy effects).
Typically, if one is not an aerial opponent, these axes are far
less useful (though users can still use them on enemies on the
ground if they throw them correctly).
- Supernatural Hunter Weapon: Holy Water Vials: These are small
vials filled with holy water. Holy water is made one of a few
different ways (though there may be others as well). The first
is that one can say a prayer over water with a rosary and then
put it into the water. This is one of the easiest methods to
make holy water. Another method is to mix certain holy or
blessed plants into water, sometimes to be said over a prayer.
The last major known method is for a holy user to pour holy
energy into water, purifying it using the holy energy. Once
made, the holy water is then put into small glass vials that can
be stored on one's person. When used, most of these are designed
to be thrown at an opponent. When thrown, the vials burst on
impact, releasing the holy water over whatever the vial is
broken on. When the holy water is released, it is able to do
damage to unholy creatures that are vulnerable to it, such as
vampires and demons (And certain kinds of were-creatures). And
in addition to the holy damage, the glass from the vial can also
do damage to the opponent, often burning unholy opponents with
the holy effects. These vials are thrown straight at opponents,
requiring only enough force in the throw so that the vial
shatters on impact. Some users can even throw them into the air,
and rain the holy water down over an area, which is a useful
method to affect more than just one opponent if needed (but does
reduced damage since less holy water is over a wider area). Holy
water is very useful when used by supernatural hunters, as it is
able to affect a variety of unholy creatures. However, this is a
weapon that requires preparation, as one has to make the holy
water and put it into vials. Thankfully, the glass vials can be
different shapes and sizes as long as one can throw them and
shatter them on an opponent. Also, as one might guess, holy
water doesn't affect every creature, specifically those that are
not unholy creatures. The last thing to note is that opponents
can still dodge the vials if the vials are thrown at them and
they react fast enough.
- Supernatural Hunter Weapon: Holy Oil Vials: Similar to holy
water vials, holy oil vials are also specially prepared vials.
However, instead of making holy water, one puts holy oil into
the vials. Making holy oil is actually a bit more difficult than
holy water, but can be made through certain rituals. The main
one is that one can get it from Jerusalem, where it is made
through unknown methods. Another method is known as "Oil of
Abramelin" which is done by making a ceremonial magic oil using
certain plants, which is the most reliable and most accessable
method. There is also a question if normal oil can be blessed or
if holy energy can be infused in oil to make it holy oil, but
the methods to do so are inconsistent and not really reliable.
Once done, the holy oil then must be mixed into a volatile
state, and then sealed in the glass. Afterward, the holy oil
vials are then ready for use. Just like the holy water vials,
holy oil vials are thrown at opponents. However, instead of just
spreading oil when the vials shatter, the volatile nature of the
oil then combusts and catches fire, essentially creating holy
fire when the vial bursts and the volatile oil is exposed to the
air. As one might imagine, this is a very useful thing to have
when dealing with unholy creatures, and is designed to kill
demons. However, the most useful feature of using holy oil is
its effects on angels. When hit with this, weaker angels can be
killed with these if enough holy oil is used, but when used on
stronger angels (up to and including archangels), the oil casts
them from an area for a short time if they are hit with the vial
and the holy flames burn them. These also work on fallen angels
as well, since fallen angels retain their angel sides and most
of their angel weaknesses. The last thing is that holy oil is
used in certain rituals, such as making glasses to see certain
kinds of invisible hellhounds. The only downside is that making
holy oil is much more difficult than making holy water, since
one has to track down rare materials to make it, and it is hard
to come by. And just like holy water vials, opponents can still
dodge the vials if they react to the vials being thrown at them
(and assuming they are not close enough to the vial to get
burned with the oil combusts).
- Other Supernatural Hunter Weapons: When it comes to
supernatural hunter weapons, there are an infinite number of
items that can be useful to a supernatural hunter. Typically,
while there are main weapons that are used, there are also a
variety of other weapons as well depending on the supernatural
hunter. For example, magic users may take spellbooks with them
that possess spells that they can use, with some even being able
to enchant spellbooks with spells that don't require magic to
use (usually enchanted by someone else). The spellbooks are
usually enchanted with attack and/or defense magic, and the
pages usually act as a catalyst for enchanting spells. Some
other weapons include things like wards and talismans used by
those like those that practice things like Shintoism, where they
will use paper wards/talismans for certain effects. Depending on
the ward some can be used to protect physical locations, or they
can be used to attack creatures by throwing them at opponents.
There are many different wards for these, and the most notable
use of these is by those close to Father Hei, who helped develop
the art of Christian talismans using Shintoism knowledge and
combining it with Christian sigils and spells. There is also the
Men of Letters, who have access to a number of weapons that are
unique to them, such as an enchanted frequency bomb that casts
out angels out of a vessel or special sigils and spells that
they developed. And in some universes, those like Akiba Hellsing
and Alexander Anderson can use bible pages as weapons, using
enchanted or blessed bible pages to do things like create
barriers or attack enemies. Typically, there are many types of
supernatural hunter weapons and items that can be used, so it is
difficult to name them all. However, it is important to note
that there are weaknesses to every item that can be used, such
as spellbooks may not work against certain opponents, such as
those with magic resistance or magic immunity. Also, some of
these items may require preparation in advance to use, such as
wards and talismans needing to be prepared through writing and
using special paper for the talismans.
Holy Vampire Nature Change Abilities:
- Holy Nature Conversion: When a vampire or werewolf is purifed,
they immediately gain a full conversion of their power over to
holy power. Any unholy powers they possess immediately are
purified into holy equivalents (with neutral powers or powers
not negative in nature will remain the same). Once a holy
vampire or holy werewolf changes, this is the first thing that
changes. Unlike other beings, holy vampires/holy werewolves lose
their negative natures and gain pure positive natures that then
power their abilities. Typically, those that convert in this
manner will not only gain the abilities of a holy vampire or
holy werewolf respectively, but the holy nature change amplifies
their abilities when their nature is converted, due to their
entire being changing over to holy power (whereas most normal
beings have half a positive, and half a negative nature). As one
might expect, this leaves a holy vampire and holy werewolf with
a much more amplified nature with a full holy nature. In
addition, there are specific abilities that holy vampires and
holy werewolves gain as a result of their purification, such as
most gain some form of holy magic that they can use (though some
have more affinity with it than others). However, with the holy
nature change to their vampire or werewolf power, this also
comes with a few drawbacks. As mentioned, the holy vampires/holy
werewolves have pure positive natures, which means they cannot
wield demonic or other negative powers. While it is possible for
some rare cases of holy darkness to come up for some holy
werewolves/holy vampires, most of their powers that are dark,
demonic or otherwise generally unholy change with their nature.
Any power that cannot be converted into a positive or neutral
power equivalent may disappear or be unable to be used. However,
that is a very rare case, as there are holy conversions to
almost any power with only a few being difficult to convert.
Also, it is worth noting that while holy vampires/holy
werewolves gain powerful holy natures, they are weaker to dark
and demonic natures as a result of their change since they lose
their natural affinity for the dark in order to gain their
affinity for holiness, which means that just as much as a holy
vampire/holy werewolf can counter a dark or demonic being, they
can counter them as well.
- Holy Vampire Spirit Energy: There are many vampires that have
abilities that run on their spirit energy, such as how the
Darkfires have powers that let them combine elementals with
their spirit energy. This energy comes from the spirit of the
holy vampire, just as normal spirit energy would come from a
normal vampire. Instead of being darkness natured like normal
vampires (Depending on the vampire), holy vampires have purely
positive spirit energy that is far more potent than normal
spirit energy. With their positive nature, a holy vampire's
spirit energy has a powerful holy element instead of the normal
cursed or darkness type nature. Thanks to this, a holy vampire's
spirit energy is holy in nature, and can be used as such. Holy
vampires that used special clan abilities that required spirit
energy still retain their ability to use their clan disciplines,
except that their clan disciplines now run on holy spirit energy
instead of normal spirit energy. This in turn grants a powerful
holy element to any of their clan disciplines that utilize
spirit energy, and utilize the purely positive spirit. This can
be a bit difficult with certain clan skills that utilize
specific unholy skills, but the holy vampire nature change can
be adapted to over time, and the holy vampire can often find
unique ways to utilize their holy vampire power. For the most
part, many holy vampires don't really need to do things like
become a spirit user to utilize this holy nature (though some
have found that holy vampire spirit users may have a pretty
powerful holy spirit energy), and instead mostly just continue
using their spirit energy like they normally would. This energy
is a basic energy which is summoned by holy vampires, usually to
use special techniques. When holy vampires are changed, their
normal vampire energy becomes holy in nature, becoming all
positive with no dark energy in their soul. Because of this, the
holy vampire not only has pure positive power, but this also
means that the holy vampire will be more easily countered by
dark or demonic natures even if they can counter dark or demonic
natures. Negative natured abilities will more easily counter a
holy vampire's spirit energy or abilities they utilize with holy
energy.
- Holy Vampire Psychic Energy: This is the second most common
power that vampires possess that they use. Not only do vampires
use spirit energy to power some of their abilities, but vampires
also possess a natural ability for psychic energy to do certain
things. For example, clans that utilize the Dominate discipline
rely on psychic energy to utilize their ability to influence the
mind. In addition to their spirit energy getting a holy
enhancement, holy vampires also gain a special enhancement to
their psychic power as well. While psychic energy isn't normally
considered a "holy" or "unholy" power, a holy vampire gains a
powerful holy enhancement of their psychic energy that adds this
holy power to their psychic power. In addition, what they can do
with their psychic energy often changes as well. Instead of
forcibly controlling someone, a holy vampire instead can use
their psychic power to calm others from negative states. This
does limit what a holy vampire can do with psychic abilities to
a degree, as they lose the ability to force their will on
others, but it does allow them to more easily influence those in
negative states. However, if a psychic vampire has attack
skills, such as being able to use telekinetic blasts or other
skills that can be used offensively, a holy vampire's psychic
power gains a powerful holy element that does holy damage to
opponents, and can even use the holy power to influence an
opponent in which the psychic energy's holy affect can affect
opponents slightly if used on them. While not as versatile
affecting minds as a normal vampires, holy vampires with psychic
power can utilize their psychic energy a bit more uniquely
thanks to this. Holy vampires can utilize psychic energy to the
same degree, but since they use it different, holy vampires have
to experiment and learn how to utilize their psychic power the
most effectively. While holy vampires do lose the ability to
forcibly influence others, their ability to calm people out of
frenzy states and other negative states does increase. Of
course, this can still have the same weaknesses as normal
psychic power, such as strong willed opponents can still resist
psychic influence, and physical attacks can still be blocked
like normal.
- Holy Vampire/Holy Werewolf Magic: While not all vampires or
werewolves use magic, holy vampires and holy werewolves gain
holy magic when they are purified, likely as a result of the
magic infused into the formula that was used to create the
purification. Holy vampires and holy werewolves not only gain
magic to varying degrees, but holy werewolves and holy vampires
gain a holy nature to their magic that grants them powerful holy
magic. Even if they didn't use magic before, this enhancement
allows all holy vampires and holy werewolves to use holy magic
to some degree. This depends on their affinity, where different
holy vampires or holy werewolves will have varying degrees of
affinity for magic after their purification. For example,
someone without magic affinity before their purification may not
have a whole lot of affinity, but they will gain some affinity.
There are many types of magic that one can use, depending on
what matches the affinities of the holy vampire or holy
werewolf. Among different options may include things like holy
light magic (often used by those who used dark magic before
purification), holy attack magic, holy defense magic, holy
buff/debuff magic, and holy healing and purification magic
(which mostly holy vampires and holy werewolves gain healing and
purification power upon their change that sometimes does also
come out in their holy magic). This depends solely on the holy
vampire or holy werewolf, as some even have specialty magic they
can use depending on affinities they have or magic they had
before their purification. This magic also forms a basis for
certain other skills as well. Many can also develop their own
magic, or some can even use neutral magic (neutral magic can
still be used despite not being a holy magic). However, things
like magic resistance or magic immunity do still apply, and any
magic user is also still vulnerable to things like anti-magic as
well. And since holy vampires and holy werewolves gain a pure
positive nature, their magic is more easily countered by dark or
demonic magic which does extra damage to them, as well as any
dark or demonic powers also working to counter a holy werewolf
or holy vampire's magic abilities.
- Holy Vampire Servant/Master Connection Severance: When a
vampire becomes a holy vampire, one thing that happens is that
their connections to their old life are severed, in which this
not only allows a holy vampire to gain a holy nature, but sever
ties to their old life. For holy vampires specifically, holy
vampires lose any master and/or servant connections they'd made,
due to the fact that holy vampires don't operate on a
master/servant relationship like most vampires often do. This
means that this can be used on a vampire servant to break them
free of a master, in which the severing of the master connection
can allow a holy vampire to free themselves if they don't like
their master. However, this doesn't just apply to master
connections, but also to slave connections that the vampire had
made in their life. If a vampire had turned humans into vampire
servants, or has a connection that controls humans under their
command, this connection is also broken to the vampire when they
become a holy vampire. This is also due to the fact that holy
vampires don't operate through master/slave relationships, and
any servants that were made under the vampire are cut loose.
Holy vampires can still turn humans into holy vampires, but
instead of being able to control or manipulate the connection
with them, the turned holy vampire instead becomes a holy
vampire of equal status rather than becoming a servant. This has
been theorized to be a symbolic gesture of leaving one's old
life behind, where a vampire who becomes a holy vampire is
theorized to no longer have need of masters or servants, and
instead is meant to become a brother or sister to the other holy
vampires and to the Church. This means that, for better or
worse, a holy vampire must be prepared to let go of any
master/servant connections when they become a holy vampire. This
also means that master-servant connection manipulations don't
work on a holy vampire, no matter where they come from. There's
not much battle use of this, as this is more just freeing the
holy vampire and freeing their servants. While the servants of a
vampire can still choose to stay with the holy vampire, they
simply aren't forced to.
- Holy Item Wield/Empowerment: Unlike normal werewolves or
vampires, holy werewolves and holy vampires don't have to worry
about the effects of holy items on them. Holy vampires and holy
werewolves are able to wield any holy weapon or item that they
may have at their disposal. However, this doesn't just stop at
wielding holy weapons or items. Holy vampires and holy
werewolves gain an empowerment from holy items that allows them
to utilize holy weapons and items to more advantage than normal
holy item users. For example, one of the most commonly known
examples is that holy vampires and holy werewolves are able to
drink holy water, and rather than hurting them like a normal
vampire or werewolf, holy water can actually have restorative
properties on a holy vampire or holy werewolf. Holy water can
restore a holy vampire or holy werewolf's energy, as well as can
boost their regeneration and abilities. Depending on the holy
items, different holy items or weapons may have different
effects, as each holy item is usually used for a different
purpose. For example, holy oil may grant a holy vampire/holy
werewolf extra defense against angelic powers, or a holy cross
item may grant enhanced exorcism power. This mostly just depends
on the item. Another thing worth noting is that holy werewolves
and holy vampires don't take holy damage from holy items or
weapons, due to the fact they have holy natures that make them
almost immune to holy energy damage. This applies to almost any
holy item or holy weapon, where a holy werewolf or holy vampire
can handle almost any kind of item. However, while a holy
werewolf and holy vampire can wield holy items and gain
empowerment from them, their weaknesses instead shift over to
demonic or unholy items, which do damage to them. If a holy
vampire or holy werewolf tries to hold an unholy or demonic
weapon or item, they will take demonic energy burning damage to
whatever part of their body is in physical contact with the
item. This means that while holy vampires/holy werewolves have
resistance to holy, they are instead damaged by dark, demonic or
other unholy items/weapons.
- Holy Prayer Empowerment: Holy vampires and holy werewolves are
able to utilize special prayers after their purification, in
which their pure holy nature can respond to their words and
prayers. When using this, a holy vampire or holy werewolf simply
says a prayer, and they are able to empower themselves or others
with prayer, in which they are able to use their power in
combination with their prayers. By using this, users or allies
can gain a special holy enhancement based on the prayer and the
intent behind the prayer. Depending on the prayer, the prayer
can grant special abilities, in which a prayer about casting out
a demon may grant a user or ally extra defense against demonic
power or grant extra offensive power tailored to casting out
demons. If the user is able to give out a prayer, they can
actively use this to help them and their allies in battle, with
the specific powerups of the prayers depending on what the user
prays for and how the prayer is meant to be administered. Some
can even use prayer for special arts such as using prayers to
create barriers, or using prayers to sanctify items or areas.
However, there are limits to this as one might imagine. For
example, prayers will not be granted without the correct
mindset, as the prayers utilize holy presence and cannot be made
out of negative emotions (such as praying for someone to die out
of anger will not grant any power). Users have to have a pure
heart and good intent in their mind in order to use this
effectively, such as a prayer to save someone who is injured
will grant them enhanced healing, or trying to cast out a demon
will grant the user demon exorcism enhancement. For the most
part, nonlethal methods or methods that save the life of someone
will grant the best empowerments, though there are some
empowerments that may not be granted if the power is too beyond
the user. If the user is not strong enough to handle a certain
power, their prayer won't be granted for their safety or the
safety of the person being empowered. If a user utilizes this,
more powerful empowerments require longer prayers, and while
they are praying a user is vulnerable to attack as the user has
to focus on praying when utilizing this ability.
- Holy Healing: Just like beings like angels, holy vampires and
holy werewolves gain a powerful healing and purification power
thanks to their conversion to a holy nature. The first aspect of
these abilities is a holy vampire and holy werewolf's ability
where they are able to heal others, with them being use holy
power to concentrating healing power through their holy energy.
When channeling their holy presence, a holy werewolf or holy
vampire is able to utilize their holy presence to restore the
body. This similar to other healing powers like healing magic.
While this isn't an instant fix-all to any injury, it does allow
a holy vampire or holy werewolf to heal most injuries assuming
the person being healed doesn't die before the wounds are
healed. However, depending on the severity and amount of wounds,
the time and concentration may vary much like other forms of
healing. For example, a holy werewolf or holy vampire could heal
simple wounds extremely quickly (such as healing a cut in a few
seconds), or it might take time and concentration to heal more
serious injuries or to heal more injuries. And depending on the
holy werewolf or holy vampire, some may have or develop special
unique healing abilities depending on their skills. Typically,
this works much like any other healing, where a holy vampire or
holy werewolf only needs to focus their holy presence toward
someone in order to heal them. There is no real attack ability
for this, other than things like zombies who might be weak to
healing power (some zombie undeads can be "killed" by healing
power), so there is no real use for this in battle. This may
also require focus and concentration depending on the holy
vampire/holy werewolf, as some may not have as much affinity for
this as others (the affinity just depends on the holy
vampire/holy werewolf). Healing is also not nearly as easy as
people think it is, as someone who specializes in healing will
have to not only heal a wound, but make sure nothing foreign
gets caught in the wound like dirt or debris, or healing that
stuff in the wound will cause all kinds of problems. And
depending on the wound, some people may die before being healed
completely if they are fatally injured enough.
- Holy Purification: The second aspect of a holy vampire/holy
werewolf's healing power is purification, where holy
werewolves/holy vampires can purify unwanted supernatural
presences in the body. For example, a holy vampire/holy werewolf
could purify demonic corruption from someone, or purify
supernatural energy poisoning if they know what is causing the
problem. And depending on the holy vampire or holy werewolf,
some may even have unique abilities when using this, where some
have learned special healing and purification powers depending
on the abilities they have. By using this, they can purify all
kinds of ailments that have been caused to others. A holy
vampire/holy werewolf is able to use this similar to healing,
where they just need to focus their holy presence on the person
they want to heal and on what it is they want to purify. This
can be used to purify things like corruption in the body or
soul, or some can also use this to purify certain ailments. To
an extent, this can also be used to purify certain sicknesses,
where certain sicknesses can be purified if they are intrusive
presences in the body (though the ability to heal sickness may
or may not apply depending on how skilled the holy vampire/holy
werewolf is at healing). Some more skilled purification users
can even remove thinks like curse effects and certain other
supernatural conditions. Typically, the holy vampire or holy
werewolf has to know what they are purifying, so they often have
to figure out what is causing the problem first and what
specifically they need to purify. For example, if the problem is
demonic energy corruption, it isn't enough to just say that one
is suffering energy corruption, but the holy vampire/holy
werewolf would have to specifically identify that they are
suffering demonic energy corruption. Because each problem is
different, each problem often requires a different purification.
And depending on the problem, some may not be able to fix
certain problems on their own, depending on their skill levels
(For example, simple problems like demonic energy corruption are
easy to handle, but more complicated problems may require
specific people to counter). Another thing to consider is that
purifying certain status effects like curses may require a price
in order to break depending on the curse.
- Holy Area Sanctification: This is another power that holy
vampires and holy werewolves gain with their holy nature
enhancements. When a holy vampire or holy werewolf focuses their
holy nature into an area, they are able to use their holy
influence to sanctify an area as a holy place. For example, if
there is a new church or graveyard, a holy vampire or holy
werewolf can sanctify it with their holy presence, by spreading
their presence over an area. This is designed to allow an area
to become holy land, in which those like demons, vampires and
werewolves take damage when they set foot on holy land.
Depending on the holy vampire or holy werewolf, some may even
have special warding abilities using their presence, such as
some may have arts that they can use to combine with this to
create wards against specific kinds of creatures over an area,
or someone with barrier arts could create a special barrier to
protect a holy area. When affected by this, those that are
unholy in nature or a creature meant to be affected by a
sanctified area will suffer holy damage for as long as they are
in the barrier, with weaker beings often taking severe damage
very quickly. And when holy beings are in areas sanctified by
holy vampires/holy werewolves, holy beings are empowered by the
empowerment to the area, where they gain empowerment based on
the sanctification used. For example, a graveyard sanctified may
grant a holy being enhanced holy power that can destroy undead,
or use in a church may grant a holy being more damage against
creatures like demons. This technique is most often used by holy
vampires on areas they frequent, usually to discourage attacks
from happening, or just making a place a safe haven for some
creatures from unholy creatures, and is not meant for making an
area that cannot be penetrated or making an area with an
absolute defense. For the most part, stronger beings can resist
the sanctification of an area, and this doesn't affect anything
not affected by holy presences. This is also something that
costs a lot of time, energy and concentration to set up, so this
isn't something that can be done just anywhere (as it takes
preparation to do).
- Enhanced Holy Exorcisms and Casting: While most vampires and
werewolves might be familiar with exorcisms and wards, there are
many holy exorcisms and wards that normal vampires and
werewolves wouldn't be able to use without damaging themselves
due to the holy nature of the wards or exorcisms. However, with
holy vampires and holy werewolves, they are able to utilize
special holy exorcisms and wards, designed specifically to be
used by the church. Holy vampires and holy werewolves are able
to utilize special wards and exorcisms, which are usually
designed for specific beings. For example, the church has
special holy exorcisms designed to cast out demons and similar
unholy beings, as well as the church having exorcisms designed
to cast out fallen angels as well. Whether it's a spoken
incantation to exorcise a being, or a ward spell that is placed
on an area to keep beings out, there are plenty of exorcisms and
wards for holy vampires and holy werewolves to learn that can
help them take down unholy creatures. This is often best used on
creatures that possess others, as the church has a number of
exorcisms and wards designed specifically to cast out beings
that possess others. And with the holy presence of holy vampires
and holy werewolves, they are also able to utilize these
exorcisms and wards with stronger power than normal, due to the
holy vampire and holy werewolf's holy natures. With this,
depending on what they're exorcizing or trying to cast out, this
is a useful skill that lets holy vampires and holy werewolves
counter a lot of types of creatures. Of course, using this
ability often requires training and study, as holy vampires or
holy werewolves that want to learn this must learn the ways the
church has to exorcise or ward against creatures. And depending
on the creatures, there are specific wards for specific
creatures, which must be used specifically for specific
creatures (IE a demon ward won't work a fallen angel). Some
stronger beings may also resist some exorcisms and wards, in
which some stronger beings may require more power to exorcize or
ward against.
- Holy Skills/Holy Arts Abilities: After Father Hei purified
himself and teamed up with other holy vampires and holy
werewolves he'd purified, eventually Father Hei had help in
developing skills for the holy vampires and holy werewolves to
use. The first are the holy skills, which were skills developed
by Father Hei that were designed to to use different skillsets
for different purposes. The holy skills are designed to allow
people to learn different kinds of abilities using holy energy,
all of which use a holy werewolf or holy vampire's holy power to
utilize. Depending on the power, different skills have different
abilities, usually dependant on what the holy vampire or holy
werewolf have affinities for or can learn from someone else.
Among some examples is the sacred barrier which allows one to
create barriers around an area designed to trap supernaturals
within the barrier, holy attack wards which allow a holy vampire
or holy werewolf to use special paper wards to attack unholy or
demonic creatures, and the holy sealing wave which allows
someone to seal someone away in an object. The second set of
skills are the holy arts, where Father Hei based the holy arts
on soul reaper kido after a soul reaper joined his group. The
holy arts are divided into two sets of skills, which are the
attack arts and the binding arts. Instead of using spirit energy
like kido, Father Hei figured out a way to make this work on a
holy vampire or holy werewolf's holy spiritual nature, with both
races being able to use their holy nature to utilize these arts
(usually to varying degrees). Depending on the holy vampire or
holy werewolf's training, For the most part, the holy skills and
holy arts are all different abilities that can be used,
depending on the holy vampire or holy werewolf's affinity. For
the holy skills, each has their own weaknesses and counters,
such as holy attack wards can be countered with demonic or
unholy ward powers/items, or the sacred barrier can be broken
with enough power depending on the opponent. For the holy arts,
these are still countered like the kido techniques they were
based on, such as many can be dodged or many of them blocked
(some that pierce defenses may be hard to block).
- Holy Vampire Disciplines: Depending on vampire, and their
training, holy vampires are able to learn the vampire
disciplines of any vampire clan that they have an affinity for
or use any vampire disciplines they used before. Every vampire
clan has their own set of abilities and disciplines, which
werepyres can learn if they are trained, or they have a strong
enough affinity that they can learn these skills. For example, a
vampire born of the Lasombra clan would be strong in shadows, or
certain other clan born vampires might be stronger in other
abilities based on the clan they're born into. There are a
variety of vampire disciplines, from physical combat, to
transformation abilities, to even alchemic abilities. This
depends on the holy vampire, and what training they can obtain
or had obtained before their purification. Typically, most holy
vampires will utilize variations of their disciplines that they
learned before becoming a holy vampire, such as a Lasombra would
use variations of their dominate and obtenebration disciplines.
All of these often work similar to how they are used by
vampires, and aside from certain modified disciplines, most
still have the same strengths and weaknesses. However, this
brings up certain conditions for certain disciplines. Some
disciplines do change after one becomes a holy vampire, such as
the Lasombra Obtenebration skill, which will either change into
light manipulation or holy darkness manipulation depending on
chance and what affinity the holy vampire will have. Another
major example is the Dominate discipline, in which the skills
for this discipline change as well due to the fact that holy
vampires are more focused in calming negative emotions rather
than dominating a mind. Because some skills aren't quite
compatable with the holy vampire skillset, some actually have to
be changed (Specifically those with unholy natures or specific
abilities that may be considered not holy). What disciplines a
holy vampire can learn is dependent on their vampire heritage
and their training, and unless they have an affinity for the
discipline, they may not be able to learn it. For example,
physical combat based disciplines usually work well for many
holy vampires and can be used the same as they were before they
were purified (though sometimes some disciplines do gain a holy
empowerment which enhances the combat skills), but examples of
unlearnable skills might include some like those without magic
affinities required for alchemy won't be able to learn
thaumaturgy skills.
Holy Skills (Abilities Learned depend on the user and the
training they recieve):
- Holy Attack Wards: This is a type of paper ward that Father
Hei developed to directly attack opponents that is designed to
be used by holy users. This allows one to create wards that were
based on Shinto mythology paper wards, but instead of being used
to ward against spirits and kamis, Father Hei designed these
paper wards to be used against opponents, where users are able
to throw these at opponents and damage opponents with holy
energy focused into the wards through the user and through the
specific wards put onto the paper ward as the wards take effect.
There are a number of ways these wards can be used, in which
these wards are usually designed to be used to attack opponents.
However, users can also use these like amplification, where they
can apply wards to things like their items and to others around
them with paper wards, in which some wards can be used to
strengthen someone or something against a specific type of
creature depending on the ward used. In using this, this is very
similar to Shinto mythology and how priests of Shinto mythology
use wards. The major difference is that Father Hei designed
these wards to be used against enemies of the church, and made
paper wards specifically designed for the Christian church.
These wards are hard to learn, and hard to use, but they can be
very powerful when used properly, in which weaker opponents can
even be vaporized if hit by these wards (such as a low level
demonic spirit can be destroyed by the right ward). However,
like the normal talismans, this requires knowledge of what the
user is trying to attack, in which these attack wards have to be
specifically tailored to specific threats. And this can only be
made to ward against one type of creature at a time, making it
useless against groups of different types of creatures depending
on the wards used. Those caught in this usually can break free
if they're strong enough, or use their power to destroy the
wards, assuming they have the power to overcome the wards. If
they don't though, they will rarely die, just weaken to a point
where they will often be able to be cast out, or to where they
can be killed by the holy vampire or holy werewolf.
- Holy Talisman Wards: This is another power Father Hei
developed based on Shinto religion paper wards. Similar to the
attack wards, this power uses paper wards, which were taken from
the Shinto religion, and modified into Christian wards that can
be used for warding against creatures. By focusing their holy
presence into the ward and making the correct ward on the
talisman, a user can create these wards which can be used to
ward against the specific creature the ward is designed for.
When using this, a holy vampire or holy werewolf is able to use
their holy power to ward off evil, casting out many unholy or
demonic type creatures using powerful holy presence power
combined with powerful warding. With these wards, they are
simply meant to be attached to a location, and then they can
utilize this to ward an area once these are attached to a
location. When used, this can defend an area against certain
creatures, such as a holy ward against demons will prevent
demons from being able to enter the area warded, or a ward
against certain kinds of dark spirits may be effective against
warding out dark spirits. This often works best when wards are
put in the four corners of the room, which creates an almost
protective bubble around the room that can be used to defend the
area. Just like with the attack wards, there are a few ways to
use this, depending on how the user is trained and how creative
they get with this power. For example, some users have been able
to use this to set traps where they will lure an enemy spirit or
demonic creature to an area, and then use a ward to trap them in
an area using wards. Of course, just like the attack wards, this
requires a user to not only have a knowledge of how these wards
work, but also of what exorcisms and spells to put on the wards.
And just like the attack wards, these wards can only be tailored
to work on certain creatures at a time (meaning that one ward
will usually only work on one type of creature, so groups of
different creatures will require more than one ward. Another
thing is that stronger opponents with stronger presences may
also be able to overpower these wards and enter a warded area if
they can overpower the ward's power.
- Holy Skill: Purification Attack Arts: This is another power
that was based on Shinto religion, and repurposed for the church
by Father Hei. This power was based on Shinto priests and
preistesses who had the power to purify, but did so by focusing
purifying energy into things like arrows or other objects to
attack enemies. This version of the skill teaches those with
purification power how to use it in combat, in which holy
vampires or holy werewolves focus their holy presence into
special attack abilities that are designed to purify and destroy
unholy or demonic creatures. When using this, many will focus
their purification power through their presence in some fashion
to create purifying energy, where they usually then focus it in
some way to attack opponents. Because this is more a basic
skillset, every user is able to utilize these skills differently
depending on their own skillset. A few popular ways many use
this skill include focusing their purifying energy toward a
weapon and using that energy to enhance the weapons ability to
cut through unholy or demonic presences with special purifying
blade skills, and some will create projectiles that can be fired
at opponents, such as one who created arrows out of purifying
energy that could be thrown like javelins at opponents.
Depending on the user, this can be used a variety of ways, in
which a user can utilize their own ways to use this. The only
real thing that is required to learn this is that a user has to
learn to focus their holy presence into purification power,
which some may have more affinity for than others (some may
specialize in it, or some may not have much purification power
at all depending on their natural affinities). While this is a
powerful technique though, this only works on certain types of
creatures like demons and unholy spirits depending on what can
be purified. This can be used on creatures like dark spirits and
hollows, though the purification has to be strong enough and be
able to overcome individual defenses. And of course, like any
energy type attack, these arts can be countered depending on the
way its used. For the most part, most of these arts can be
countered like any other energy or blocked if the opponent is
able to block it.
- Holy Skill: Holy Ink Familiar Summoning: This is yet another
technique that was designed by certain shinto priests to use in
battle. In using this skill, a user simple has to draw on paper
with an ink brush, and by fusing their holy presence into the
drawing, they can bring the drawings to life in which the
drawings become living ink familiars that can be used for
different purposes depending on how the user utilizes this
skill. Just about any form can be drawn, and the beasts drawn
may gain special abilities, such as a dragon might be able to
release an ink dragon breath, or some drawings may be able to
shapeshift. These ink draws become a solid creature, where not
only can they attack enemies, but depending on the creatures,
some users will even ride on these familiars (Such as one who
would draw birdlike creatures and then ride them into the sky).
There are a number of ways to use this, and with the holy
presence empowerment of the drawings, these drawings have a
powerful holy presence to them that can be used in combat. When
used, these ink familiars are controlled by the user's holy
presence, and the familiars react to the user's will. Depending
on what they draw, the familiar can have different attack
styles, such as birds attacking with their talons, or wolves
attacking with claws and biting others. This mostly depends on
the imagination of the user, and how creatively they draw to
create these familiars. For the most part, these are controlled
much like any other familiar, where a user simply controls the
familiar's actions. This uses the ink to generate holy
familiars, and grants an advantage so the user can attack
opponents with these holy ink familiars. The familiars are solid
and work very similarly to elemental familiars, as they are
essentially designed from a combination of the warding
techniques and a familiar technique. This also means that they
have the same drawbacks as elemental familiars. One such
drawback is that these ink familiars can be destroyed like any
other familiar, with water being the best way to destroy them
(as it washes the ink away), and the larger the creature, the
more energy is required to animate the familiar (smaller
familiars may be weaker, but cost less energy to summon).
- Holy Skill: Holy Animal Spirit Bonding: Depending on the holy
vampire or holy werewolf, Father Hei developed a skill which
lets holy vampires or holy werewolves who could take familiars
bond animal spirits, creating permanent familiars that can be
summoned either in battle or for specific purposes. This art was
designed as a variation of the elemental spirit training of the
Darkfires, where a user instead focuses on calling an animal
spirit that can be bonded to them. By utilizing this skill, a
user uses a spirit summoning, and then they form a pact with the
spirit, where they can bond with the spirit to have the spirit
help the user, usually in exchange for energy to help strengthen
the spirit. Depending on the spirit, some spirits may grant
other special abilities when bonded, such as some spirits may
grant spirit purification abilities that will help users fight
creatures like dark spirits and hollows, or certain other
spirits may have unique skills that can be granted to the user
through their connection. When used, the holy nature of the holy
vampire/holy werewolf is given to the spirit, and the spirit
gains a passive holy empowerment for as long as the spirit is
with the user. Usually, this is meant to call on animal spirits,
where a user will bond an animal spirit to them that will grant
them special abilities. As the team grows, there are special
abilities that may be able to be learned, such as some animal
spirits may be able to sync with their hosts and grant the host
its power where the host will take a transformed state that
reflects the animal spirit (Example might include a wolf spirit
that grants someone wolf-like features when fused with the
spirit). Each spirit is different, though it is worth noting
that any use of this grants a holy spirit empowerment. This can
only be used with neutral or holy spirits, and cannot be used
with negative spirits that have abilities that are negative in
nature (as the holy spirit empowerment will reject spirits with
negative abilities). This can still be countered like any other
spirit bonding, where a user has to maintain the bond (usually
by maintaining a mental state or by feeding the spirit energy),
and any abilities gained are still countered as they would
normally be.
- Holy Teleportation Arts: Another technique that Father Hei
developed for holy vampires and holy werewolves, where he helped
develop special teleportation arts. When using this, a holy
vampire or holy werewolf can teleport anywhere in the world with
this technique, as long as they know where they're going and can
concentrate on where they want to go. By focusing their holy
presence, a holy vampire or holy werewolf can learn to use
special teleportation arts, where they are able to learn arts
designed for getting around. For example, Father Hei has taught
some special elemental teleportation techniques, or has also
taught some special short range teleportation techniques one can
use in battle. Typically, this is used based on the arts used,
where some are just for getting around, but others may be
specifically designed for use in battle. Typically, these arts
are broken down into two different kinds of arts, the first is
long range arts which is more for getting around (where a user
can use different arts like setting up waypoint teleportation to
go to specific places, or they may just use general
teleportation) and the second is short range teleportation
usually designed to be used in battle against opponents. This
simply requires learning teleporation using one's own holy aura,
which can be taught to many people fairly easily as long as they
understand the concepts of supernatural teleportation However,
in order to use this, a user does have to know where they're
going, which usually means that either they must know where in
space and time the place is they want to go to, or they have to
have been there before (usually the latter among most), and a
user cannot use this to travel across time or dimensions (with a
few exceptions), because this teleportation isn't strong enough
to break the dimension of space and time. As such, most users
have to be careful while using this, as if they don't know where
they're going, they could end up somewhere random, or they could
end up inside of solid objects if they end up in certain random
locations which causes other problems. There is also the means
that it costs energy to use teleportation, and no energy means
no teleportation ability.
- Sacred Barrier: This was a technique belonging to a church
member in Father Hei's world that Father Hei replicated and
developed special techniques that let holy vampires and holy
werewolves utilize this art to create special barriers around
areas. This is used differently for each user, where each user
will often develop unique barriers. For example, Father Hei
creates an elemental barrier, usually made of either holy fire
or holy lightning over an area, while someone else may release a
mass of wards that create a barrier using wards. For the most
part, once the basic technique is learned, users can modify this
to suit their own skillset depending on what they want to do.
When used, this barrier has a few effects, some of which depend
on how the technique is applied. The first that is universal to
all applications of this technique is that teleportation skills
do not work when this barrier is active around an area, due to
this being designed to interrupt supernatural styles of
teleportation. The other universal thing among these barriers is
that people, whether human or supernatural, are not able to pass
through the barrier unless the person who created it opens up
the barrier for them to get out. Other effects depend on how the
barrier is used, where the extra effects depend on other
skillsets used with this. For example, Father Hei's elemental
barrier can weaken elemental abilities used be enemies, or
someone who uses purification on a barrier may be able to
release a purifying aura into the barrier. For the most part,
these barriers are created and maintained through the holy
vampire or holy werewolf's holy presence, and can be kept active
as long as they have the energy to keep the barrier active. From
the inside, this barrier is extremely hard to break, as the
interior of the barrier is much stronger than the outside of the
barrier. If one wants to break the barrier, the best way is to
attack it from the outside, or use concentrated attacks designed
to break barriers (though depending on the barrier, some
techniques may work better than others). An opponent can
overpower this barrier, but from the inside, it is very
difficult.
- Holy Skill: Bible Page Wave: This skill is another skill
replicated by Father Hei designed after a member of the church.
This spell uses a holy vampire or holy werewolf's holy magic, in
which the user focuses their holy magic into a bible. When the
user focuses their power into the bible, all of the pages come
off the book and fly around an opponent. When used, the bible
pages fly towards and attack an opponent, using holy presence
infused into the pages holy words to create a powerful
purification that can not only attack, but the pages will stick
to unholy beings and attempt to purify them (damaging the body
of the unholy being). Essentially, each bible page works
similarly to attack wards, except that the bible creates a
massive wave of these bible pages instead of just throwing one
at a time. This is designed to be released over an area, and can
have a few effects depending on how its used. The original use
of this was to use it as a distraction technique that could
attack enemies and allow a user a chance to get away from a
fight, but Father Hei redesigned this to be more of an attack
skill that can be used by holy users. With this power, there
isn't much variety in how this technique is used, but this is a
technique that can be very effective if used properly. When
used, this uses all the pages in a given bible, in which they
all become powerful wards. This does mean though, that this
technique can only be used once per bible, as the bible pages do
not return when the technique is done. This can be used with any
bible, though some bibles may provide more power than others.
For example, a parallel bible with four different translations
may provide far more power since it has far more pages and four
times as many holy scriptures, but a small pocket sized bible
wouldn't be too powerful since there aren't many pages in it. In
terms of blocking the wave, certain powers like energy defense
do work, or a user may try to attack the wave directly with
strong enough holy powers in which powers like hellfire may be
able to destroy the wave of pages (as the hellfire can counter
the holy element and the pages themselves). if one can overcome
the holy energy, then they won't be as affected by the pages.
- Holy Skill: Paladin Defense Arts: This technique is designed
around focusing one's holy presence, which Father Hei designed
around powers like elemental aura and item empowerment. When
used, a holy user learns to focus their holy aura not just
around them, but instead focuses it into their clothes. This
technique focuses holy power into the clothes, increasing
defense, and making the clothes able to take stronger attacks in
response. Some users can even utilize this to harden their skin
as well, by using similar concepts to the Darkfire's elemental
defense skill that Father Hei based part of this skill on. When
used, a user can learn special techniques to focus their holy
presence, and can do this in different ways depending on the
user. This can strengthen clothes to near armor-like levels,
where a holy presence can enhance clothes defense to high levels
depending on how potent the holy presence is. This applies also
to the level of using it to harden the skin, where the amount of
holy presence available often determines the strength of this
skill. This is normally an active skill, where a user focuses
their presence so that they can use this in battle, though there
are some users that do learn to use this passively, so that they
can use this defense if they are attacked unexpectedly. If used
in battle, a user can prevent their power from being used
unnecessarily, and only use the energy while they need it, but a
user that uses this constantly will require energy to keep this
skill going passively (which will require a constant use of
energy). Both ways of using this have their advantages and
disadvantages, where it usually depends on how the user wants to
use their defense. In battle, this defense can be broken with
strong enough attacks, where some can use more focused attacks
to more easily break through this defense. Those with stronger
energy can usually easily overpower this defense, and those with
aura breaker or energy negation powers/items can break this
skill very easily. And this is a skill that can also only be
used when the user has the energy to do so (No energy means this
can't be used).
- Ultimate Holy Skill: Holy Sealing Wave: This power was
designed by Father Hei to seal away threats. After seeing powers
that could seal people away, Father Hei developed a similar
technique using holy magic which is designed to seal away an
opponent. When used, this uses a sealing spell that is focused
through holy magic, where a user releases the spell on an
opponent in order to attempt to seal them away. Depending on the
user, some users can use this in unique ways, such as Father
Hei's use of this utilizes lightning which surrounds and
contains the opponent as the lightning passes through them. If
an opponent is caught in this, the holy user can seal them
inside of an object used for sealing, which can be anything that
is available as long as they have the right objects. In order to
use this, the holy user needs an object that they can use, and
they need a special sealing talisman that is placed on the
object after one is sealed inside of the item. Typically, the
most used method of this is a jar or vial (something with a
lid), where a user will usually pick something that can seal
with the talisman as objects with lids tend to hold sealed
presences inside with more efficiency. In order to use this, the
holy user simply has to hit the user with the magic spell, and
then the user will be pulled into the sealing wave the spell
creates. If the opponent doesn't escape the wave or have a way
to block it, then the holy user needs only put the lid on the
object, and put the special sealing talisman on the object,
which then creates the seal which traps the opponent inside. As
one might expect, this is difficult to use and even harder to
master, and only best used if the holy user knows they can hit
with the wave, otherwise this technique can be dodged. And
opponents who can use counter containment waves can reverse this
back on the user as some have created counter techniques to
sealing waves, which means the user has to be careful when using
it. It is also a rare case, but some rare people have been able
to use raw power to resist the wave, though this takes insane
amounts of energy to resist. Typically, the best way to avoid
this is to avoid the wave, as once one is caught in it, it's
highly unlikely they will escape unless the user makes a mistake
and misses the object they're sealing the presence in (which
does happen if the user hasn't mastered this technique, as this
takes a lot of practice). This also takes a lot of energy, and
can only be attempted up to 3 times before one runs out of
energy.
- Rare Holy Skill: Holy Divine State: When a holy user gets to a
high enough stage in mastering their holy presence and their
unique natures, some rare holy users can gain a unique state
that lies deep in their spirit if they are able to reach into
themselves with meditation. This isn't specific to holy vampires
or holy werewolves, but due to the peaceful natures of holy
vampires and holy werewolves compared to other beings, some who
use proper meditative techniques can eventually utilize this
power. Depending on the training and where the user focuses, it
is possible to awaken their true power as a mortal in the form
of a divine state. In order to awaken one, a user has to tap
into their spirit's deepest reaches and draw out this power,
usually through meditations and learning to tap into their
spirits. For holy vampires and holy werewolves, they cannot
learn dark states, so if they gain anything, it is only a holy
divine state. With the holy vampire/holy werewolf's holy nature,
usually their divine state reflects that holy nature. And on top
of them usually being very powerful, each divine state is often
unique, where different states may come with different abilities
depending on the individual. Among the more known examples is
Olympus universe Goten Uchiha's silver chakra divine state,
where he gained a divine state through meditation. Typically,
awakening this can be different for each user, but most often,
this is awakened in those that meditate frequently and learn to
tap deep enough into their spirit to access their hidden power.
Depending on the divine state, their power will reflect
whichever state they are, in which almost all holy divine states
will be holy in nature (and none of these states are ever dark
or demonic since holy vampires/holy werewolves don't have any
negative power in them). Depending on the state though, there
are counters to these states, where each state is vulnerable to
some counter power (usually countered by dark or demonic
states). And each unique power granted by divine states are all
counter-able in some way (since states are all unique, one must
state limits of their specific divine state).
- Rare Holy Skill: Holy Knight/Paladin Form: In rare cases of
holy nature changes, there are some holy vampires and holy
werewolves that are able to tap into other holy powers as a
result of their holy nature change. One of these is that some
holy vampires or holy werewolves have been known to have the
potential to achieve a holy knight/Paladin power where some can
gain the skillset of a holy knight/Paladin, which is sometimes
referred to as the Spirit of Order skill. Usually known for
humans tapping into the positive spirit and gaining the power,
holy vampires and holy werewolves may also gain this affinity.
If gained, the holy vampire or holy werewolf will gain a special
Paladin/Holy Knight transformation, where they are able to
change into a holy knight/Paladin. This skillset is an extra
skillset that can be learned if a holy vampire/holy werewolf has
the potential for it. When used, this activates a holy
knight/Paladin form that is called from the spirit, and turns
the user into a holy knight. When used, all the powers of a holy
knight can be called on by the user, including abilities like
holy light manipulation that can be used to attack opponents, or
Resonant Interference that interfere's with dark or demonic
power used by evil forces. When used, the armor is created from
the spirit, but the spirit summons this armor as a solid matter
armor which forms around the user. The armor grants the user
defense, and also acts like a focus for the holy knight skills,
and a user is able to utilize the holy knight skills while this
is active. When used, this is only compatible with people who
have a strong sense of justice and a pure heart (which usually
isn't a problem for many holy vampires/holy werewolves since
they become holy vampires/holy werewolves in order to redeem
themselves into better people). However, the major problem with
this, is that those that are overcome by hatred may eventually
become dark knights, and if that happens a holy vampire/holy
werewolf, it can actually kill them due to the conflicting
nature. Also, when they become holy knights, their holy knight
powers are mostly countered by dark or demonic power,
specifically they can be countered by dark knights fairly
easily.
- Rare Holy Skill: Unique Holy Purification Skill: This is
perhaps the epitome of purifying power. It is not known how one
gains this particular ability, but this skill is what allows a
holy vampire or holy werewolf to learn to purify other
supernaturals into holy creatures. So far, among the few that
are known to have this power is Father Hei, who has been the
only one recorded using this power. This is not something that
can be learned, but is something that is acquired on
purification. When used, this skill allows a holy vampire/holy
werewolf to purify other supernaturals, in which they gain a
unique technique that will let them purify a being. It is not
known how one gains this power, but the major theory is that
either this is gained through purification by purifying formula,
the same way Father Hei purified himself (as so far, no one
purified by those like Father Hei have gained this power, though
many who were purified by the formula also haven't gained this
power). If gained, each user has a different way of using this,
such as how Father Hei's purification power takes the form of a
holy flame spear that is used on people. When this purification
skill (in whatever form it takes) pierces the heart, the body
reacts depending on what is in the mind of the user. If a user
is an evil being that isn't holy in nature that doesn't want to
change, they will be consumed and killed by this technique as
they are purified from the inside out. If a user is a pure
hearted person that doesn't want to change or is already a holy
nature person, this spear will do nothing to them and have no
reaction at all. The last is when a user with a nature that
isn't already purified, and if they want to change (they have to
be willing to change without any hesitation), then this
technique will purify the person into a holy being (which is how
many holy purified beings purified by Father Hei are converted).
When used, this technique has to hit the heart to do the full
purification effect, and if one is off even by a little bit, the
technique can do damage, but won't have the full purification
effect. Those that don't want to be purified have to dodge this
technique, and make sure this doesn't strike their heart or they
will have to choose to be purified or likely die. However, even
an opponent can take this technique and just opt to become a
holy being without hesitation, and they may retain their
personality depending on the creature.
Holy Attack Arts (Players should exercise judgement when
determining what skills their character will use, as less
experienced holy vampires won't be able use every skill, while
more experienced vampires can use more skills over time):
- Holy Art #1 Sho (Thrust Wave): This fires a small burst of
energy from the index finger with great force that generates
concussive force and fires it using holy energy. This energy is
just a short burst of power which can be used to hit an opponent
with pure concussive force that is designed to do heavy impact
damage when used. This power is fired from the index finger, and
appears to just be a clear wave fired at an opponent. When hit
by this, this does concussive force damage as well as holy
purification damage to the spot hit (if the being is unholy, as
the holy purification doesn't do anything to holy opponents or
those immune to purification power). The kinetic energy in this
skill hits harder than one might think, and is great for a
simple attack. This technique can even be fired multiple times
by those skilled in it's use, and can be fired in rapid
succession at little cost to higher level experienced holy arts
users. This is the most simple and basic ability of the holy
arts, and the easiest to master due to it's simple nature as it
only requires a user to concentrate their holy energy into a
small wave of energy that condenses their holy power into a
powerful kinetic impact wave. However, due to it's simple
nature, this art isn't the strongest or fastest of holy arts,
designed to be a simple attack that can help in a fight rather
than being an overly power technique to destroy an opponent.
However, this is useful in fighting opponents immune to holy
energy, as this can do impact damage even to those immune to
holy energy. This simple attack also is not that strong because
it really doesn't use that much holy energy, so users can use
this more, but this art isn't designed to overpower strong
opponents. Some heavier opponents can even just shrug off the
impacts of this, such as those with concentrated mass, who are
able to just take the hit and barely be affected by it. This is
best used on lower level enemies, or those that are vulnerable
to impact/concussive force. This can also be dodged by fast
enough opponents, or this can be blocked if one can account for
the kinetic force of the attack.
- Holy Art #4 Byakurai (Pale Lightning): While simple, this art
is favored by many holy users for it's piercing ability. This
art is a more complicated art, requiring not only a change in
energy form, but a change in nature to make the holy energy more
like a static lightning type energy. After concentrating it into
a lightning type energy, the user then has to focus the
lightning into a beam which is fired from the finger-tips at an
opponent. When fired, the holy energy lightning-like beam is
designed to pierce opponents using concentrated lightning style
energy, and operates the same way as a lightning beam would when
fired at opponents. This piercing beam is designed to pierce
through shields and armor, and designed for getting through
defenses. While certain types of energy techniques can block
this (though this can pierce some energy defenses), many forms
of solid matter can be pierced with this. This is a very small
beam, designed for speed and piercing over raw power. This
attack is designed to be easier to learn, but this technique
isn't as powerful as some other techniques, due to this being
designed for slightly easier use. This isn't as powerful as some
lightning beams, and cannot pierce certain stronger metals,
making it so that some stronger armors like magic armors or
adamantium armors cannot be pierced with this lightning. Of
course, this lightning can also be dodged by faster opponents,
and certain stronger opponents, like those with concentrated
mass may not even be fully pierced by this art. For those that
want to use the full power of this art, one would have to learn
the more advanced Byakurai technique (Jugeki Byakurai), though
this is still a useful technique that can pierce lower level
opponents with ease. And due to it's less powerful nature, it
also costs less power to use, making it very useful for piercing
normal metal armors and shields, or other simple defenses that
don't use energy or tougher metals/materials. However, because
of the small beam, this doesn't do too much damage unless this
hits a vital spot, due to the beam being so narrow.
- Holy Art #7 Gaki Rekko (Raging Light Fang): When using this
technique, a user utilizes holy power to create a spell circle,
in which they use a weapon or their hand that pierces the
circle. When piercing the circle, the circle then releases a
wave of straight green spear-like beams that are fired from all
around the circle toward an opponent, in which the flurry of
green projectile spears are designed to be fired in a flurry of
projectiles. When used, this allows a user to fire this wave of
projectiles to try and overwhelm an opponent, in which these
spears are made of holy energy that focuses energy to blast
opponents. If this hits an opponent, this doesn't particularly
pierce opponents, but instead the projectiles explode on impact.
When they hit, these projectiles not only hit with immense
impact power, but they also do purification holy damage thanks
to the holy energy put into this power. These projectiles are
fired in quick succession, where the spell circle's outer edge
fires the blasts at an opponent. This can be used to overwhelm
an opponent with a flurry of attacks, or a user can use this to
attack a group of enemies. A user can fire the spear-like beams
from this technique continously as long as their weapon or hand
is in contact with the spell circle, in which they can keep this
going as long as they have the holy energy to do so. Usually,
this is best used from high above an opponent, where the user
can get the most use out of it. Also, the further away the user
is from the opponent, the harder it is to move out of the range
of this attack, as being further away means the spear-like beams
will move outward more to cover more area. However, the
technique does have some drawbacks. For example, the technique
can only be used in one direction, and once the spell circle is
created, one cannot move the spell circle to try and re-aim this
technique if the opponent moves out of range of it. Opponents
can also block this attack if their defense can handle the beam
projectiles, or an opponent can dodge if they are fast enough.
Usually though, getting out of the path of fire with this attack
is the best way to avoid it.
- Holy Art #11: Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound Lightning): This technique
focuses holy energy into a static-like state, in which a user
focuses this either through their hands or through a weapon.
When used, a user focuses a change of energy form, where they
focus their holy energy into a static like state. If done
correctly, this allows a user to use the energy to travel like
lightning, where the lightning will utilize objects as a conduit
to travel and attempt to affect an opponent. If done correctly,
this will electrocute opponents once the energy reaches them,
electrocuting them with the holy energy. In addition to
electrocution, the holy energy also does holy damage to an
opponent as the energy affects them. due to this being holy
energy at the core of the technique. This is a great technique
to attack with, especially at close range, or a user can use
this with a conductor to try and affect an opponent holding an
object that is a conductor. For example, a user could utilize
this on someone who is using metal wires, where a user once used
this on someone by catching the opponent's metal wires, and then
using this to have the attack travel the wires to electrocute
the opponent. This technique is done through physical contact,
and is not fired at opponents like many projectile techniques.
This means that this technique is only useful when in contact
with either an opponent, or with an object that can be used as a
conductor to have the energy reach the opponent. If used on an
opponent, an opponent can dodge this if a user tries to grab
them with this skill, or an opponent holding an object can try
to let go of whatever object is being used to conduct the energy
if they react quickly enough (as this does move like lightning,
so opponents do have to react very quickly in order to be able
to react to this). If hit with this attack, enemies will take
holy damage, but stronger opponents may take less damage from
this, and holy users won't be affected by the holy effects (but
only affected by the electrocution damage done by the
technique). Of course, since this isn't a projectile, simply not
giving a user the chance to use this effectively is the best way
to avoid having this technique used against them.
- Holy Art #12 Fushibi (Ambush Flare): This technique creates a
web of holy energy, which is released and expands when used to
try and catch an opponent or group of opponents. When used, this
requires a change in energy nature, which is made to change the
nature of the energy and requires a change in energy form. The
change in energy form is designed to make the web of holy energy
sticky, where this ensnares opponents and traps them in the web.
The web stays connected to the user, usually at the arm, where
the user can manipulate the web as long as the web is active
This web can be released and wrapped around an area, or it can
be fired directly at an opponent. If caught in it, opponents
will find that the web is very difficult to break free of,
designed to hold most supernatural type opponents. However, the
real use of this technique is the change in nature, in which
users that use this use the change in nature to make the holy
energy flammable by manipulating the holy energy to conduct heat
using oxygen and hydrogen. This creates the second part of this
technique. When opponents are caught in this, a user can ignite
this web, in which they only need some heat source, or another
technique that can generate a flame to ignite the web. When
ignited, the flames cause the web to explode, where the web
explodes in a blast of flames that can be used to try and blow
up opponents. Anyone caught in the web will usually be affected,
or anyone close to the explosion. In order to avoid this
technique, it is usually best to avoid the web, so that the
opponent won't suffer the explosion once caught. Some opponents
who are fast enough can dodge this web if they react in time, or
some opponents can break free of this web if they have some form
of energy negation power/item. And due to the explosion being a
standard explosion (the explosion is not holy energy like some
might think), those who are immune to flames or explosions will
not be affected by the actual explosion. Additionally, some
stronger enemies may not take too much damage from this, as the
strength is determined by the user's holy energy.
- Holy Art #22 Jugeki Byakurai (Heavy Strike Pale Lightning):
This technique is a variation of the normal Byakurai, which is a
more powerful version of the technique. Like Byakurai, this art
is a more complicated art, requiring not only a change in energy
form, but a change in nature to make the holy energy more like a
static lightning type energy. After concentrating it into a
lightning type energy, the user then has to focus the lightning
into a beam which is fired from the finger-tips at an opponent.
When fired, the holy energy lightning-like beam is designed to
pierce opponents using concentrated lightning style energy, and
operates the same way as a lightning beam would when fired at
opponents. However unlike the normal version, more energy is
required to utilize this one, and when used, the beam turns
solid red. This piercing beam is designed to pierce through
shields and armor, and designed for getting through defenses.
Unlike the normal Byakurai, this is far stronger and able to
pierce far more easily. This beam is just as fast as the normal
Byakurai, but is a little bigger in size than Byakurai (which
also allows more damage). This technique is strong enough that
it is strong enough to pierce higher level opponents from a
distance, and was once used by Father Hei to pierce through
Leviathan in a fight (Though the technique didn't pass all the
way through Leviathan). Of course, this lightning can also be
dodged by faster opponents, and certain stronger opponents, like
those with concentrated mass may not even be fully pierced by
this art (Though many higher level opponents may find that this
can pierce them). Due to it's more powerful nature though, it
also costs more power to use, but the extra power used makes it
very useful for piercing stronger metal armors and shields, or
other defenses. However, the increased energy cost means this is
only useful when the lesser Byakurai fails, and aside from the
energy cost difference, the same weaknesses still apply in that
opponents can still dodge, or stronger opponents may be able to
overcome this technique (though it's much stronger nature means
that unless one is confident in their ability to overpower it,
then dodging is probably a better idea).
- Holy Art #31 Shakkaho (Red Fire Cannon): This move manipulates
holy energy, using a change in energy nature to create an
explosive energy technique. When used, this creates a crimson
red holy energy blast that is fired from either one hand or both
hands. When fired, this is fired like a fire blast, where the
blast is fired as a projectile attack. When created, this
technique can be modified based on the energy put into it, where
this technique can be modified based on how the user wants to
use it. For example, putting more energy into the blast could
create a larger blast, or using a smaller condensed blast could
create a smaller and more condensed explosion. Some users can
even learn to fire this as a beam of explosive energy. No matter
the form though, this technique is set up so that when it hits
an object or opponent, the blast explodes in a blast of holy
power. If hit by this, the blast not only does explosion damage
(as the blast doesn't just explode in holy energy, but explodes
into flames as well due to the explosiveness of the skill), but
also does holy purification damage to enemies who are hit by the
blast and/or explosion. This is a great projectile attack that
can be easily used, and its adaptable nature allows it to be
used as a great attack option for many users. This is usually a
great starting point for those wanting to learn holy arts, as
users can usually learn this easier than a lot of other skills,
and its adaptable nature allows one to change the skill
slightly. For the most part, this is fired as a single
projectile, and doesn't guarantee damage, but is a very easy
technique to learn and doesn't require too much holy power to
use. However, while it is a single projectile attack that can be
fired, this means that it can still be dodged since it is a
single lone projectile, or strong enough opponents can block the
attack. The strength of the attack depends on how much energy is
put into this, so it is important to also note that weaker
versions of this don't use much energy but aren't as strong,
while stronger versions of this are stronger, but require more
energy as a result.
- Holy Art #32 Okasen (Golden Flash): This technique is used by
a user holding out a bladed weapon in front of them, and then
concentrating holy energy into an orb in front of the weapon.
When used, the orb then expands the length of the weapon, and is
released as a sharp golden slashing wave that can be fired at
opponents. This technique is charged when the orb is created,
where the power of this technique is charged into the orb before
the technique is fired. Once it is fully charged, it fires a
wide, horizontal arc of yellow energy at the target, which
releases a large horizontal slashing wave. This technique can
also be released by concentrating it from the hand, in which the
user can release a smaller and more concentrated wave at an
opponent that works the same way (except the technique doesn't
do as much damage as the area of affect is reduced due to the
technique being more condensed). When used, this is best used at
long range, as the technique expands outward as it moves away
from it's origin point. If hit by this, not only are enemies
slashed by the wave, but the wave also does holy purification
damage to anyone affected by the wave. This is a mid level skill
that balances energy cost vs damage done, where this is meant to
be used against mid-level enemies fairly effectively. And this
is a technique that the strength of the technique is determined
by how strong one's holy energy is (stronger holy energy means
this will be a stronger attack) If one wants to defend against
this technique, this technique can be dodged if an opponent is
fast enough to react in time, and this technique can be blocked
by stronger level opponents. For the most part, if used the way
it was intended, users often will use this at longer range to
maximize the area of effect, but this also means that opponents
will have more chance to counter or dodge the technique. Since
this is a slashing wave in a horizontal arc, opponents who dodge
it can dodge it by either jumping over the arc, or ducking under
it. Stronger opponents can sometimes also defend against this
with strong enough defenses, or some with raw physical strength
can also block this technique as well.
- Holy Art #33 Sokatsui (Pale Crash Down): This technique
creates a powerful wave of energy which is fired at opponents.
When used, this creates a torrent of blue holy energy that
creates a wave, where the energy becomes blue and is able to be
fired at opponents. When it hits the opponents, the wave
explodes in a blast of purifying holy power that does holy
damage to opponents. Not only does this use raw power to blast
an opponent, but the technique can be modified depending on the
refinement of the skill and the skill of the person using it.
Depending on the power put into it, a user could use more power
to create a more powerful blast, or they could put less energy
into it to create a smaller and more condensed blast. Depending
on the user, some users can master this to a level where they
can hurt higher level opponents with this skill without needing
to use the more powerful Sokatsui skill (Soren Sokatsui). Some
stronger uses of this can be used to destroy armor or shields,
where some have used this on armored opponents to try and
destroy their armor (which can work if the user makes a strong
enough blast of energy with this technique). When used, this is
fired from the index fingers, and is aimed and fired at the
opponents based on where the user points their index finger.
This is another fairly simple attack that is pretty easy to
learn among holy users. Depending on how this is used, this can
be dodged if an opponent is fast enough to react in time or
blocked by enemies with strong enough defenses. Typically, this
is better dodged than blocked though, as stronger uses of this
can be dangerous to defenses. And with the explosion, usually it
is better to avoid the attack rather than try to block it due to
the explosion of holy energy. Depending on how it's used, this
can be used with less energy for smaller and more condensed
blasts, or this can be used with more energy for stronger and
larger blasts. Depending on how its used, less energy usually
means that it can be used more but the technique won't be as
strong, while more energy means it is more powerful but the
technique costs more energy.
- Holy Art #45 Kongobaku (Adamantine Blast): This technique is
often seen as a more advanced version of the Shakkaho art. When
used, a user uses their holy energy to create immense heat that
is surrounded around an orb of condensed holy energy, which is
formed usually at the tip of a weapon, or can be formed from
both hands depending on how a user wants to concentrate the
attack. If done correctly, this creates an explosive blast of
holy energy that is fired at opponents like a fireblast which is
fired as a projectile attack. When used, this technique is fired
at opponents, and explodes on impact. When this technique
explodes, it explodes with holy purification power, duing holy
damage to enemies as well as doing explosive damage through
flames and kinetic energy generated by the explosion. This
technique has often been compared to Sokatsui in terms of power,
where more advanced users have been able to use it to counter
Sokatsui. Similar to Sokatsui, this can be modified depending on
how much energy is put into it, where this can be used to create
stronger blasts with more energy, or one can use less energy to
create smaller and more condensed blasts. Like Sokatsui,
stronger blasts of this can be used to destroy armor and break
through defenses, such as using this against a barrier to try
and shatter the barrier or using this against an armored
opponent to try and destroy the armor. When used, this explodes
not just into holy purifying energy, but also into heat and
flames due to the heat generated and contained when using this
technique that is designed to make it explosive. And like
Sokatsui, this technique is countered very similarly, where
opponents are usually best off dodging the attack, due to the
fact that this technique explodes on impact. However, stronger
opponents or opponents with stronger defenses can possibly block
this technique if the defense or power of the opponent is strong
enough to overpower the technique. However, dodging this is
usually best, as dodging also lets an opponent avoid the
explosive damage this technique generates.
- Holy Art #54 Haien (Abolishing Flames): This technique fires a
smaller, faster oblong blast of purple energy at an opponent.
This technique is a very strong technique that is meant to
destroy objects. However, when used, this is a powerful
technique that not only explodes to destroy objects, but this
particular skill was designed to attack spiritual opponents and
destroy them. This looks like a simple blast at first that is
fired from the hand, but the effects of this power are anything
but simple. This is a very hard technique to master, and users
of this have to master it before they can use its full power.
When used, this not only explodes, but destroys an object or
person of whatever the object hits (or part of an object or
person if it's a bigger object or person). When talking about
destroying objects, this doesn't just blast part things, but
destroys the existence of what is in its affected range (what is
caught in the brunt of the attack). This technique destroys the
existence of objects or people, and can be used to strategically
destroy objects that are difficult to destroy. Because this
destroys the existence of an object, things destroyed are gone,
and no longer exist. For example, if a limb of an opponent is
destroyed by this, the limb cannot be regenerated, as the limb's
very existence has been destroyed. This can also be used to
destroy spirits (as it was originally designed to destroy hollow
spirits and dark spirits) as well, in which this can be used
like spirit destruction. While it seems easy to learn, utilizing
the power that destroys the existence of an object is very
difficult, and most people never fully master this power due to
how difficult it is to utilize the destruction power of this
skill. When used, this only affects what is caught in the actual
area of effect, and usually is not strong enough to complete
destroy an opponent with one hit. However, if one wants to fix
damage done by this, they cannot regenerate this, nor can any
amount of healing or restoration power restore damage done by
this skill. This technique is one that has to be dodged, and
cannot be blocked due to its destructive power. However, there
are some people that can resist destruction power if they can
overpower it with their own energy (though this is very
difficult to do). This also takes a fair amount of energy when
used in its full effect. However, very few have ever fully
mastered this, and most that don't master it can only partially
destroy objects (in that unmastered uses of this don't destroy
the existence of an object). Unless hit in a vital like the head
or chest, this is rarely fatal, but can destroy parts of the
body that are blown up with this blast.
- Holy Art #57: Daichi Tenyo (Upturned Earth Dance): This
technique uses holy energy to create a telekinesis effect,
lifting up objects and opponents around the user. In using this,
the user holds out their hand, projecting their holy presence
from their hand to an area. This technique can then be used to
hurl everything in any destination the user chooses, by using
the holy energy to affect the environment. With this, a user has
to project their presence outward, in which they have to
concentrate it towards where they want it to affect. There are
usually two main uses for this technique. The first is that one
can lift and toss opponents, where this can be used over an area
specifically designed to affect objects that can be lifted in an
area (which includes opponents if the user focuses it where an
opponent is). When used in this manner, a user can throw the
opponent with this telekinetic power, usually designed to throw
opponents into solid objects for impact damage. The second way
this is often used is to telekinetically grab objects in an area
that a user can then toss at opponents so that a user can use
objects around them to their advantage. This has an area of
effect on an area depending on where the user focuses, and
anything that can be lifted or controlled with this telekinetic
skill can be affected. While this is useful for lifting up
opponents though, it does no damage to them, and no other skills
can be used while this is in effect without breaking the
telekinetic hold. The only damage that is done is when the
opponent is thrown and damage may be done on impact depending on
where they are thrown, or can damage if this is used to throw
debris/rocks at opponents. However, once thrown, the user no
longer has any control over the opponent. This is designed to
either do impact damage when throwing someone or throwing debris
at someone, or used to counter projectile attacks and hurl them
away or at other opponents. While this doesn't do damage, if one
wants to avoid this, they can simply just not be in the range of
the attack around the user. If an opponent knows how this attack
works, they can move out of the area of effect by moving away
from where the user is focusing their holy presence, which is
often obvious by where they hold their hands towards (where they
use their hands to project their holy presence outward over an
area wherever their hand is pointed).
- Holy Art #58 Tenran (Orchid Sky): To initiate this technique,
one levitates their weapon or use a motion from their hands,
spinning in a circle like a fan while also infusing holy energy
into their weapon to allow the holy energy to absorb some of the
kinetic energy from the spinning. The weapon then spins as it
builds up speed and generates kinetic energy in its spinning
motion, where both the weapon and the holy energy of the attack
absorb and amplify the kinetic energy (in this method, the holy
energy must amplify the kinetic energy absorbed into it through
holy amplification, which is a skill that must be learned in
order to utilize this skill). Then, when the weapon builds
enough speed, the user then stops it. When the spinning is
stopped, all the kinetic energy and the technique creates a
tornado-like blast that forms a circle shape where the edges of
the weapon were spinning whic his then fired at the opponent
from the weapon. When fired at the opponent, the tornado can be
used for raw concussive damage with the whirlwinds inside, or a
user can also use it to absorb things like cold air or heat from
the air around the technique (such as using this after a fire
technique will have this technique absorb the flames and the
technique will essentially become a flaming tornado). This is
mostly designed for impact damage using the whirlwinds inside
the tornado to damage opponents (the edges of the tornado do
also do damage if the user tries to break through them), using
wind to do concussive damage to an opponent caught in the
tornado. Depending on how its used though, there are other ways
to use it if a user is creative enough with how they apply the
properties of winds. For example, someone could use this
incombination with a lightning attack to electrocute people
caught in the tornado, or this can be used to absorb heat or
cold to create a flaming or freezing tornado. This also does
holy damage to opponents, though the holy damage is not as high
since the main focus of this is the tornado's whirlwind damage.
Opponents can dodge this by moving outside of the tornado before
the tornado passes them (thus surrounding them with a circular
whirlwind), or block it if they can withstand the tornado and
the effects of the tornado. This can also be used to reflect
projectiles, though this technique is a bit of a complicated
manuever for doing so, as there are plenty of other techniques
better for this that cost less power.
- Holy Art #63 Raikoho (Thunder Roar Sear): This technique
generates a yellow orb using spirit energy in the palm of one's
hand, changing holy energy into a powerful static energy that is
built up as the user focuses their holy energy. Once the orb has
reached the power the user wants, the user then fires it's built
up energy at an opponent as a massive concentration of holy
energy which has the same effect as a lightning strike, except
that this technique uses holy energy instead of lightning. Those
that are familiar with spirit lightning know that this technique
is very similar in nature, in which this is essentially the same
concept applied to holy energy (and partially why this technique
is yellow instead of blue like normal spirit lightning). This is
a pure attack spell, designed to attack enemies with raw holy
energy that can run through enemies like a current of
electricity as it simulates a lightning strike. If hit with
this, an opponent will not only be hit with the static of the
holy energy, but the holy energy will do heavy purification
damage to the enemy if they are hit by this. As an addition
aspect of this, this technique will also explode on an enemy,
where the attack can send them flying back and then explode
depending on how the energy is concentrated. Typically, this is
either fired from the hand, or a user can fire it from the tip
of a weapon like a sword. This is a particularly destructive
attack meant to shock enemies as well as purify them with raw
power, and has effects similar to spirit lightning but instead
uses holy energy instead of spirit energy (meaning that the
purification power of this comes from the holy energy put into
it). This doesn't pierce opponents like some might think, but
instead shocks them with the holy energy that can actually
incinerate weaker opponents (due to the raw power of this
technique. Opponents can dodge this (which is usually
recommended due to the static nature of the holy energy), or
block it if they can handle the amount of destructive energy in
the attack and the static energy. This technique can be
countered like lightning, but cannot be shorted out by water
like normal electricity can, though this does follow the other
physical laws of electricity (Such as conductivity and
electrical currents).
- Holy Art #68 Hyoga Seiran (Glacier Vapor Storm): This art uses
a large wave of holy energy, usually fired from the hand or from
a weapon. When released, the wave of holy energy is focused to
bring down the temperature of an area, and as the holy energy is
released, it freezes the moisture in the area of the wave. When
used, this looks almost like a wave of ice energy, and anything
that comes into near the wave is frozen by the energy. This
technique is designed to be used over an area to not only freeze
the area, but to freeze an opponent or even a group of
opponents. This technique can not only be used to freeze
physical opponents, but can be used to attack spiritual
opponents, due to this originally being designed to fight
hollows. This power is a high level attack skill, which is
designed to do heavy damage by freezing. Those that are caught
in the wave not only suffer holy damage and freezing damage, but
they also suffer concussive damage from the ice of the wave.
This wave is much like being hit by an avalanche, which can do
heavy damage if an opponent or group of opponents are caught in
it even without freezing them. Those that are caught in this
take holy damage and freezing damage as long as they are caught
in the wave. And due to this being able to attack spiritual
opponents, this is also great for attacking things like groups
of hollows as well. For the most part, this is a great attack
skill, designed to be used offensively in battles. This is even
strong enough at times to overpower energy shields and barriers,
assuming that the barrier or shield is exposed to the attack
long enough. However, the best way to dodge this wave is to get
above it, where the user won't be able to be hit by it. Trying
to block it often leads to disaster, so avoiding it entirely is
the only real way to avoid this. One can also use a large enough
wave of fire energy to burn away the ice energy, if they have a
wave of fire that can counter the wave of ice. One may also be
able to use earth or other elementals if they are creative
enough if they want to protect themselves. Typically, the best
way to avoid this is to get to higher ground than the attack,
such as going in to a tall tree or on top of a building if an
opponent can reach such a height where they can get higher than
the wave.
- Holy Art #73 Soren Sokatsui (Twin Lotus Pale Crash Down): This
technique creates a powerful wave of energy which is fired at
opponents, and is a powered up version of Sokatsui. When used,
this creates two torrents of blue holy energy instead of one
that creates a combined wave, where the energy becomes blue and
is able to be fired at opponents. When it hits the opponents,
the wave explodes in a blast of purifying holy power that does
holy damage to opponents. Not only does this use raw power to
blast an opponent, but the technique can be modified depending
on the refinement of the skill and the skill of the person using
it. Depending on the power put into it, a user could use more
power to create a more powerful blast, or they could put less
energy into it to create a smaller and more condensed blast.
Since this technique uses two torrents of holy energy instead of
one, this technique ends up being twice as powerful despite
being fired the same way and appearing to be the same technique.
Some stronger uses of this can be used to destroy armor or
shields, where some have used this on armored opponents to try
and destroy their armor (which can work if the user makes a
strong enough blast of energy with this technique). When used,
this is fired from the index fingers, and is aimed and fired at
the opponents based on where the user points their index finger.
This attack is a bit more complicated than the original
technique, in which a user has to combine the two torrents
rather than just blasting with the torrent of holy energy.
Depending on how this is used, this can be dodged if an opponent
is fast enough to react in time or blocked by enemies with
strong enough defenses. Typically, this is better dodged than
blocked though, as stronger uses of this can be dangerous to
defenses, especially since this is much more powerful than the
original Sokatsui. And with the explosion, usually it is better
to avoid the attack rather than try to block it due to the
explosion of holy energy. Depending on how it's used, this can
be used with less energy for smaller and more condensed blasts,
or this can be used with more energy for stronger and larger
blasts. Depending on how its used, less energy usually means
that it can be used more but the technique won't be as strong,
while more energy means it is more powerful but the technique
costs more energy.
- Holy Art #78 Zangerin (Slicing Flower Ring): This technique
generates a large ring of holy energy, which is concentrated
from a sword slash or physical attack. Users that use this first
focus their holy energy into their hand or sword, and the
release it in a ring-shaped slashing wave that radiates outward
from the user. This can be concentrated using a physical attack
or a slashing attack using a weapon, depending on what the user
wants to do. When released, the wave can slash through objects
or opponents, in which this technique has enough power to level
a building when used by strong enough users. Depending on the
physical strength of the user, this often determines how strong
this technique can be, as the holy energy released in this power
is able to amplify the physical strength of the attack used to
release the wave. Typically, the shape of the ring specifically
is determined by the attack. A user can spin an attack all the
way around to radiate a complete ring outward, or a user can
swing an attack in one direction and fire what looks more like a
crescent moon shaped ring at opponents. Depending on how it's
used, this can be used to fight one person or a group, in which
the wave can slash multiple people. This can also be used to
pierce through attacks and defenses due to how strong this
technique is, as this is a higher level technique that is
designed to be used by those that use stronger holy arts.
Typically, this is a yellow color, and tends to be a slashing
wave whether the technique is executed with a weapon or a
physical attack. This is also a very fast wave, where the ring
moves outward quite quickly, making it harder to dodge unless
one is a faster opponent. If one wants to avoid this, they can
jump over, or duck under the slash itself, as they simply can
avoid it by not making contact with the wave. The ring slashing
wave is the only part of this technique that does damage, so
avoiding this is a bit easier. Depending on how it's used,
faster opponents can dodge this, and stronger opponents can
block this (though it is difficult since this is meant to break
through defenses). This is also a mid range attack, so users
should keep this in mind as well.
- Holy Art #88 Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho (Heaven-Shaking
Thunder Cannon): This is an attack skill that requires a lot of
skill with holy energy to use, where only masters of the holy
arts can utilize this. When using this technique, a user
concentrates their holy power into their hand, and uses the holy
power to generate static in the air. When the user generates
enough power in the air, they fire that power as a giant wave of
holy energy and lightning, where the wave appears to be a large
beam of holy power and lightning. When using this, users release
a massive amount of power, which hits with immense power and
damage. This technique is so powerful that users may be able to
fire it with one hand, but users also have to use their other
hand to hold their arm firing the blast for support to handle
the recoil this technique generates. This technique is a large
beam-like blast, which is designed to counter things like ceros
and other beams of energy. This is a large beam that can usually
incinerate opponents who are caught in it, and is a large beam
that can engulf up to 5 people if they are standing close
together. This is one of the strongest attacks before one gets
to the level 90 holy arts (which are the ones only the highest
level users can use), and is a great attack wave that is
incredibly strong. However, while this is a very strong attack,
the biggest downside to it is its strength. Because the attack
fired is so strong, users have to brace themselves and they have
to deal with the recoil of the attack. That is why this attack
requires users to use their other hand to support their arm, so
that the recoil doesn't hit as badly when the technique is
fired. And depending on the user, this can also be a very taxing
technique, due to the amount of energy required. Of course,
while this is a very difficult technique to block, there are
shield and barrier techniques that can allow one to block this
if a user has a strong enough shield or barrier. Typically, this
requires a very strong barrier or shield though, so users should
only block if they are confident in the power of their defense.
This technique is best dodged if an opponent wants to avoid it,
since blocking is a risky gamble depending on the skill of the
opponent.
- Holy Art #90 Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin): This technique uses
holy energy to create a large darkness attack designed to take
out opponents. This technique creates a large box around an
opponent made of pure darkness controlled by holy energy. When
the box is closed and the darkness solidified, it creates a
space in the box compressed by darkness so strong that it
manipulates time and space and can crush most opponents to near
death. This is one of the stronger holy arts and the first of
the 90s level holy arts, which can do severe damage to someone
caught inside it as they are crushed by darkness and
gravitational force generated by the darkness in the box. The
best way to not take damage is to not be in the box when it
fully forms, as not being in the box means one won't have to
break out or worry about what goes on inside the box. However,
should one be trapped inside, the best way to break out is with
immense physical force, or by destroying the box with strong
enough powers that don't rely on light, as the gravitational
effects of the darkness inside the box make light next to
useless. Those who are in it often don't die, but come out with
heavy darkness and gravitational damage if they let themselves
get caught in this as they will be crushed to the point that
most of their bones and muscles will have taken heavy gravity
damage and will be broken as a result of the force the gravity
puts on the opponent. The best method for avoiding this is just
to avoid the box entirely and not get trapped in it before it
fully forms, as there is time before the box fully forms to
escape. This is based on the soul reaper technique, Kurohitsugi,
which is essentially the same technique that uses holy energy
instead of soul energy to control the darkness. This can only be
used a few times before one runs out of power, since it uses
such strong power, even by those that have a lot of power to use
in battle. And while using gravity and darkness to damage
someone may sound incredibly powerful (And it is powerful),
opponents can still survive this if they are strong enough to
withstand it even if they may end up incredibly damaged from the
effects. Some stronger opponents who can withstand gravitational
and darkness effects may also be able to take reduced damage
from this as well.
- Holy Art #91 Senju Koten Taiho (Thousand-Hand Bright Heaven
Cannon): This technique is another attack spell, which is a
powerful attack that is fired at opponents. When used, a user
generates ten concentrated holy energy spears, which utilize
strong power and energy condensation to make extremely condensed
powerful spears. This appears at first as ten pink energy spears
that look like they are designed to spear an opponent, but
instead, the spears explode when they hit their target. When the
spears hit the target, the explosion that comes from the spears
is meant to completely engulf the opponent, and due intense
damage to anyone who is caught in the spell. This is also meant
to be very hard to dodge, due to the size of the explosion of
the spears. However, this doesn't just attack on a physical
level, but this also attacks on a spiritual level as well,
making it a way to attack not just the body but the soul as
well. This means that the explosions don't just do heavy damage
to the body, but can do heavy damage to the soul as well (though
this doesn't destroy souls, so this is not spirit destruction
power). This is an extremely powerful attack art, which is
designed to be used against stronger opponents. To learn this,
this requires not just knowledge of holy energy and energy
condensing, but also requires a user to know how to attack on a
spiritual plane. This is a very powerful technique, in which
this can usually be used on enemies stronger than the user to do
damage to them. If one wants to dodge this, they usually have to
move fast enough to get far enough away from the explosions of
the spears. While the explosions are difficult to dodge, the
explosions can be dodged, as long as a user is fast enough to
get out of range of the explosion. Usually, when a user uses
this technique, there is a moment where the user creates the
spears, and that is usually the best time to start moving to
avoid the attack. Blocking this power is not recommended, due to
this doing both physical and spiritual damage. And while this
can kill someone who is caught in the explosion of energy, it
cannot destroy any kind of soul, due to this not being a spirit
destruction power. Users also need to be careful of the
explosions, as using this too close could get a user and/or
their allies caught in the explosion if they are not careful.
- Holy Art #96 Itto Kaso (Flame Sword Burial): This technique is
one of the most powerful holy arts currently known, which is
known to be a deadly art to destroy an enemy. When using this, a
user sacrifices a part of their body, and the energy is consumed
and fused with holy energy that is used to power the technique.
When using this, a user focuses this art into a certain part of
the body, to which they must then touch the opponent with the
part of their body that has been affected. When used, the part
of the body that becomes fused with this power burns and turns
black, while also generate heat that cracks the skin in the form
of a flame that comes from the part of the body with this power
in it. Once the part of the body has touched the opponent, they
then activate this technique which uses their own body as a
catalyst. When activated, the spell generates a massive pillar
of red energy that bursts from the ground, doing intense holy
damage to an enemy, as well as generating enough heat to
incinerate most opponents caught in it, and does both physical
and spiritual damage (this damages anything on both the physical
and spiritual plane). When the pillar of energy comes up, the
pillar takes the form of a katana blade, which is meant to
destroy anything inside the pillar. This is generated from the
body part that is used in the attack, and can obliterate many
enemies it is used on. This is designed as a sacrificing
technique, where a user must sacrifice at least a part of their
body to use this. Usually, the larger the body part, the
stronger the technique. However, if a user does sacrifice a
smaller body part, this means the technique is weaker as a
result. When used, the only chance an opponent has to dodge this
is to avoid being in contact with the body part that is been
infused with this power, as once the technique is activated, the
opponent cannot escape this unless they have a way to overpower
and destroy the entire pillar of energy. Energy barriers can
lessen the damage, but this does typically overpowet any
attempts at defense. Also, any body parts that are sacrificed do
not return, even with supernatural or tech based regeneration,
as those parts of one's beings are destroyed completely. This
means that a user's sacrifice cannot be regained by any known
means, and even time-space reversion fails to bring back
whatever body part is sacrificed.
- Holy Art #99: Goryutenmetsu: This is currently the most
powerful holy art, and the last one holy art that users may be
able to learn. This is a very powerful forbidden art, that is
only to be used against the strongest of enemies, and is a very
difficult to learn skill. When using this, a user fuses their
holy energy while simultaneously gathering power from the area
around them, in which they tap into the life force of the
planet. When they do, they manifest the energy as that of a
large snake-like dragon that is meant to attack opponents.
Typically, this comes out of the ground as it manifests, usually
coming from the life force of the world. This can be used in any
world or plane, as it taps into the power of whatever world or
plane the user is on, and then fuses their power to create this
dragon. When attacking, the dragon attempts to engulf the
opponent, in which any touch to this technique causes an
explosion slash at the point of impact. This is best used when
the dragon tries to bite the opponent, in which the bite's
physical contact causes explosions of slashing energy when in
contact with the opponent. If an opponent is engulfed in this,
they can be blasted apart by slashing energy, in which this can
completely destroy some opponents if they are caught in it.
Currently, this is the most powerful holy art, only able to be
used if a user is able to learn how to tap into the life force
of the planet, and can manipulate that energy. When used, this
is a powerful energy, and can even overpower most other energies
that people may try to use to negate this energy. However,
stronger level attacks may be able to hold back this technique
if it is a high enough level. As such, blocking this difficult,
so dodging this technique is usually the best way to avoid
damage. Because of the explosions of slashing energy that happen
when in contact with it, it is best to just not make contact
with this dragon. While most energies can be overpowered, using
energy negation skills may allow one to negate the energy of
this attack. Also, this technique requires a lot of energy to
use, and those that use it will drain a lot of energy in order
to use it. That means this can only be used a few times before
one runs out of energy, even among those with a large amount of
energy. Also, this is a forbidden art, where it is only allowed
to be used as a last resort against threats that are too
powerful for normal warriors to handle.
Holy Binding Arts:
- Holy Binding Art #1 Sai (Restrain): This technique is designed
as the first of the binding arts. This art focuses the user's
holy power into a shockwave. This shockwave is a small shockwave
that is fired at an opponent, usually being fired from the index
finger. Once fired, the wave is meant to hit an enemy. However,
instead of doing damage, the energy is absorbed by the impact,
and moves into the spirit. Once there, the energy takes control
of the body, forcing the body into a restrained state. Once
affected, those that are affected will find that their arms will
immediately lock behind their back, and they will be unable to
move while under the effects of this art. When under this
effect, the energy keeps the opponent locked in place, as long
as the holy user is able to focus on the attack and keep it
active. This is a great way to retrain enemies, and is obviously
designed to restrain an opponent. Not only does this lock an
opponent in place though, but it also locks their ability to use
energy (unless their energy is stronger than the art, then they
may end up overpowering the art with their energy) so that they
cannot use their energy. The only thing needed for this is for
the holy user to hit with the initial shockwave, and then the
energy can be absorbed and used on the person once the energy is
absorbed into their spirit. When in use, the user can focus and
strengthen the art by focusing the energy and resisting an
opponent's resistance of the skill. However, this can also be
used on restrain someone and then leave, in which if nothing is
done, the user will be restrained for up to an hour. However,
while this is a good way to restrain enemies, those with strong
enough physical stats, or strong enough energy can resist this,
and eventually break out of this. If focusing, it is much harder
to break out, but the user cannot move or do anything while
focusing. And if used and the energy is not focused, it does
leave the holy user able to move around, but the holy art will
be weaker as a result. Typically, overpowering this requires
using either energy to overpower the energy that is restraining
the opponent, or an opponent with strong enough physical stats
can just overpower the restraining energy if they have enough
raw strength to do so. This also requires that the shockwave hit
the opponent before this takes effect, and if it doesn' t hit
the opponent, the opponent won't be affected.
- Holy Binding Art #4 Hainawa (Slithering Rope): WIP This
technique creates a crackling yellow energy rope from the hands,
which is then fired at an opponent, which is designed to wrap
around and restrain them with the rope. This rope can be moved
using the hands, as the end of the rope is always tied to the
users hands. If used correctly, once this is wrapped around an
opponent, they can actually pull hard enough on the rope, making
it dig in and damage the opponent if they have the strength to
do so. Unlike how it looks, this technique doesn't actually
shock opponents, as it is just made of spiritual energy and this
technique is still designed for restraining. Blocking is not
recommended with this technique as it can be used to grab an
opponent even if it doesn't wrap completely around. Dodging this
is the best way to avoid the move.
- Holy Binding Art #8 Seki (Repulsion): WIP This move generates
a orb of light blue energy wherever the user wants it around
their body. Usually this goes on the back of the hand when
blocking or on the legs when one is using their leg to block a
physical attack. When an opponent strikes the technique, the are
repelled by it, taking concussive damage from the attack as it
repels them back. This technique can not only do impact damage
by blasting opponents back, but can also be used to knock an
opponent back temporarily to set up another attack. Avoiding
this technique is as simply as not hitting the blue energy orb.
The orb sticks to the spot where it's created (Aka the back of
the hand or the leg it's created on) and cannot move on it's
own, making it easy to avoid if one knows how the technique
works.
- Holy Binding Art #9 Geki (Strike): WIP This technique is
activated by the user drawing the symbols for the technique in
the air using red spiritual energy. The user is then engulfed in
the red energy, which engulfs the opponent, causing complete
paralysis of the opponent while in effect. This technique is
very useful in that it can use energy to trap an opponent, but
this only works as long as the user keeps the technique in
effect, making it useless for anything other than stopping
someone temporarily so someone can escape an opponent, or using
it so another opponent can attack. Stronger opponents can
overpower this technique if they can overpower the spiritual
energy of the user, though this takes conscious effort to do. If
one wants to stop this technique, they have to stop the user
from drawing the symbols for the technique. This technique
causes no physical damage whatsoever, just being a technique to
restrain someone.
- Holy Binding Art #17 Horin (Disintegrating Circle): WIP This
technique generates a ball of orange spirit energy in the user's
hands, which then releases a large orange-hued tendril with a
spiraling yellow patter which can be used to ensnare and capture
an opponent similar to the Hainawa technique. However, unlike
that technique, not only is this one more powerful and harder to
break, one can create mutliple tendrils from the orb to try and
ensare opponents. If one uses more than one, they can actually
have the two fuse together depending on what the user wants to
do if it means binding the opponent. This can be dodged, though
like Hainawa, blocking is not recommended as this is designed to
wrap around and grab opponents. This also doesn't do any
physical damage, only being able to restrain an opponent. Though
a user can throw them around and into objects while they are
restrained if the user is strong enough to overpower the
opponents resistance.
- Holy Binding Art #21 Sekienton (Red Smoke Escape): WIP This
technique creates a red smoke bomb, which is released from the
user's hands. This technique is fairly simple, as it is mostly
just for getaways. The smoke in this technique can overwhelm
those with enhanced senses, specifically sense of smell. Other
than that though, this technique doesn't do much as it's not
hurtful to opponents or those in it. This is mostly just to
confuse and disorient opponents so the user can either use it to
get away or use it to distract an opponent.
- Holy Binding Art #26 Kyokko (Bent Light): WIP This technique
is a technique for hiding, using light bending to hide someone
from view. This not only lets one hide from view, but this
technique also hides their presence completely. When used, this
technique can make someone completely invisible, with the only
way to find them being through sense of smell or those that can
sense others even when their presence is hidden. This doesn't do
anything for defense or offense, as it is just mostly for
hiding. Some opponents can easily break through the illusion
with light powers.
- Holy Binding Art #30 Shitotsu Sansen (Triple Flash Beak
Slash): WIP This technique is a move that lets the user generate
a triangle of crackling yellow spirit energy, drawing it with
the energy. When the triangle fully forms, the points of the
triangle create spear like projectiles which are then fired at
the opponent. Once the three spears hit the opponent, they pin
the opponent to a structure or whatever the opponent hits first.
This technique is a technique designed for restraining an
opponent, so the spears actually don't do any physical damage.
Usually this is useful for holding someone in place temporarily
while setting up another attack. Blocking the attack is not a
good idea, but an opponent can dodge the attack, as if they
aren't hit by the three spears, the technique doesn't do
anything to them.
- Holy Binding Art #39 Enkosen (Circle Lock Fan): WIP This
technique uses both hands or the zanpakuto in a blocking motion,
which generates a yellow spinning disk of spirit energy. This
technique lets someone block an attack, letting the user block
projectiles in front of them. However, this doesn't really work
well for explosive attacks, as the explosion can still damage
the user as this shield isn't too large. This also doesn't block
high level offensive attacks, but can block lower level attacks
at much less of a cost to some techniques that block higher
level attacks. Though this means that while it costs less, it's
not as powerful of a defense.
- Holy Binding Art #61 Rikujokoro (Six-Rod Light Prison): This
binding art is a restraint art that is designed to stop an
opponent in their tracks. When used, a user simple points at the
opponent they want to affect, and then they focus their holy
energy around the light in the area. By combining this with the
binding art power of restraint, the user generates six rods of
light that phase into an opponent's abdomen. When all six of the
light rods meet, it generates an energy which reverberates in
the body and paralyzes it as long as the effect is in place.
Unlike how it looks, the technique doesn't actually do damage,
but instead, the light rods simply phase into an opponent, not
cutting them open. As such, this isn't meant to hurt opponents,
but to restrain them, and keep them in place so the user or an
ally can focus an attack while the opponent is stunned. As long
as the technique is active, the user won't be able to move,
other than talking or some small movement. This can even stop
someone from using supernatural energies, as opponents won't be
able to focus energy when they are frozen (as the energy
reverberation interrupts their connection to their energy
temporarily). This is often a great way to stop opponents, as
this can be used strategically to stop opponents during an
attack (if used fast enough), or it can be used to stop fast
opponents if the opponent can be caught in the attack. This is a
very fast technique, in which the light formed only takes about
a second to stop an enemy. This is dependent on the focus of the
user though, and the user does have to focus in order to
restrain someone. If they lose their focus, the opponent may be
able to break out of this, with a loss of focus typically
weakening this. It is also notable that no other spirit
techniques can be used when this is active, as once the user
uses it, they must focus on it. Once they activate another
attack, this skill dispels. This is best used when an ally is
attacking, as the user can concentrate on restraint while
someone else attacks. Stronger opponents may also eventually be
able to break this if they struggle enough, as some have
overpowered binding arts through sheer force of will or physical
power in the past (even though it is difficult).
- Holy Binding Art #62 Hyapporankan (Hundred Step Balustrade):
WIP This technique uses spiritual energy to generate a blue
pillar in the user's hands. When thrown, the pillar multiplies
into a large collection of rods as the rods move toward their
intended target. The rods can then try to overwhelm and pin an
opponent to the wall in a manner similar to Shitotsu Sansen.
However, unlike that technique, this technique is designed to
use greater numbers and works great in a closed space with less
room to dodge. Like Shitotsu Sansen, this pins the opponent to
whatever structure the pillars hit. And like Shitotsu Sansen,
this does no physical damage, being only used for restraint.
This can be dodged, though in this case, finding a way to block
them is actually better, such as using a shield or barrier so
they aren't hit.
- Holy Binding Art #63 Sajo Sabaku (Locking Binding Chain): WIP
This technique summons a yellow energy room from above, which
comes down and wraps around an opponent. Once it wraps around
the opponent, it locks around them and restrains their upper
body and arms as it appears to tie them up with the rope. This
technique is similar to Hainawa, but instead of being fired from
the user's hands, it rains down and basically tries to wrap
itself around the intended target. Opponents can dodge this, and
if caught in it, they can try to break out of it, though it
takes a lot of physical force to do so. This is another
technique that doesn't attack people, being used only for
restraint.
- Holy Binding Art #73 Tozansho (Inverse Mountain Crystal): WIP
This technique ignites spirit energy at a single point, which
then forms an inverted pyramid made of highly concentrated
spirit energy. This is designed to trap anything inside the
pyramid, being used to trap opponents, or can be used to trap
the user inside in order to protect them similar to how one
would use a barrier. This technique is activated by wherever the
point is ignited, which becomes the pointed end of the pyramid.
Opponents fast enough can get out of this before the pyramid
fully forms, or they might be able to break out of it with
enough force. This technique can be combined with other spells,
being used after another restaining spell to try and trap
someone further (though many techniques that work with this have
to be used after this is activated). Once inside, the trap lasts
for a short time before dispelling.
- Holy Binding Art #79 Kuyo Shibari (Nine Sun Bind): WIP This
technique is the opposite of the Rikujokuro spell, as it uses 9
dark balls of spirit energy to bind the opponent. The first
eight form around the opponent, where the ninth one forms on the
chest of the opponent, which immobilizes them. This is meant to
be used after using a technique to restrain them, usually being
combo'd to try and restrain stronger opponents. When used, this
technique is much stronger than other binding moves, but is
harder to pull off as opponents can just move to avoid the
attack completely. This also does no physical damage, and is
only for immobilizing an opponent. This technique is strong, but
not only temporary, but costs a lot of power to use.
- Holy Binding Art #81 Danku (Splitting Void): WIP This
technique creates a large clear wall that blocks attacks. This
technique is designed to block almost any technique that comes
from one direction, as it can be used to not only block energy
projectiles, but can be used to block other kido and Holy
Binding Art arts, as well as being able to block hollow's ceros
and many kido arts below 89. This is the strongest defensive
technique in the Holy Binding Art power set. However, this is a
defensive technique that is designed to only block attacks from
the front. Most opponents can easily go around the wall and
attack from a different side.
