"In my darkest hours, Nero Redwood was the light that brought me
to eternal life."
~ Priscilla Carver-Redwood
“To be Redwood is to live in a world where beauty is not a
luxury, but a responsibility. Nero didn’t just turn me—he
refined me. We are the curators of eternity, preserving elegance
in a universe that forgets how to look up from the dirt. Some
vampires chase blood, others chase power… but we? We chase the
sublime.”
~ Priscilla Carver-Redwood
“Eternity isn’t a burden to me—it’s a canvas. Mortals fear
endless years because they imagine boredom, decay, repetition.
But a Redwood vampire learns quickly that forever is only empty
if you are. I fill my centuries with beauty, with art, with
moments worth remembering. Immortality isn’t about surviving
time… it’s about shaping it.”
~ Priscilla Carver-Redwood
Name: Priscilla Carver-Redwood
Nicknames: Pris
Age: 100 years old (Appears to be 21 years old)
Species: Vampire
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 110 lbs
Generation:
Vampire Clan: Redwood
Known Family and Friends:
~ Father: Joseph Carver
~ Mother: Helen Carver
~ Sire: Nero Redwood
Abilities:
Redwoods are vile, unholy creatures. These monsters perverted
many of the Arcane Arts to procure their own form of magic. They
are also the inventors on the Art of Quickening, an Arcane art
used by them in the past due to them not possessing supernatural
speed as most vampires do.
Vileblood Physiology: Redwoods are vampires, typically referred
to as Vilebloods due to their tainted lineage. Like all Vampires
however, they possess superhuman attributes like enhanced
strength, regeneration and acute senses.
~ Immortality: They possess a supernatural vitality granting
them nearly unlimited stamina, longevity and healing making them
incapable of death by natural causes nor disease. Their natural
regeneration is also a part of this allowing them to heal
wounds. (to put it in rpg terms they regenerate +1 HP per
second). Their Queen, Elizabeth Redwood is Effectively Immortal
meaning she is so powerful she is incapable of death instead,
reconstituting over a lengthy period of time.
~ Enhanced Strength: Their strength is incredible to the eyes of
hunters, easily overpowering a human and even the most trained
executioner of the church. They are tough enough to tear a human
apart.
~ Acute Senses: They can smell blood from several yards, and can
differentiate cold from warm environments. Their acute hearing
granted them an affinity to the arts of entertainment.
~ Art of Quickening: They can tap into this innate Arcane art
within them that allows them to move faster than the eye can
see, shrouding their body in fog and making them harder to
attack.
Bloodtinge Attunement: Through their constant experimentation
with arcane arts and their own vile, cursed blood the Redwoods
have developed a form of blood magic they call their own.
~ Coldblood Weapons: Each Redwood can tap into their blood to
form their own unique weapon formed by their blood. These
weapons are created when their blood crystalizes outside of
their bodies and are formed through the user's own perceived
preference. They are deadly blades, and cause bleed and even
curse damage negating regeneration on vampire opponents.
~ Blood Siphon: One can siphon the life force of another to
increase their regeneration to quickly heal from wounds.
Stealing lifeforce to simply reconstitute it into themselves.
This is also used to replenish their blood reserves to further
utilize their Bloodtinge.
~ Lance Thrust: By expending a large amount of their blood, they
can thrust forward with a deadly blood Lance, dealing single
target damage and severe piercing and bleed damage.
~ Blood Spike Barrage: A deadly barrage of blood spikes that
constantly impale the target, causing bleed damage and piercing
damage simultaneously. Can be further enhanced to turn into an
AOE attack taking out multiple enemies.
~ Vampire Claw: All redwoods can utilize their vampiric claw
ability to pull enemies towards them, grab or even pull
themselves towards others. It creates an ethereal blood claw
around their arms that can be manipulated with range.
~ Blood Wings: They can use their blood to sprout large wings
made of blood used for flight.
~ Vileblood Form: Through intense emotions, stress, desperation
or at will a Redwood can force their bodies to undergo a
transformation. Usually caused by plunging their own weapon into
their chest, the blood is then spilled out into the air, glows
of immense power and is then forcibly at once reconstituted into
the user's body causing a drastic, instant change into a
vampiric beast of blood. Their range of attacks are further
increased. However their weaknesses to fire are also further
increased.
Weaknesses:
While deadly and powerful, they still possess various vampiric
weaknesses.
~ Consecrated Weapons: The use of weapons that are blessed are
highly effective against them. Most Redwoods will suffer true
death if hit in a vital area by these weapons.
~ Beheading: A common practice used by the Church long ago
against the Redwoods. Many of their members were simply beheaded
as an act of punishment. This severs their immortality and kills
the vampire.
~ Holy Arts: Because they are of cursed blood, all Redwoods are
highly susceptible to holy arts. Magic wielded by holy vampires
or even the church causes devastating wounds that negate
regeneration.
~ Fire: Another common practice against them was setting one
ablaze. This simply destroys them at the cellular level,
reducing them to ash.
~ Blood Dependancy: Being blood users they depend heavily on
blood to survive and fight. Without blood they will eventually
weaken, and their immortality will cripple at a slow rate. Blood
Starved Redwoods become crazy and eventually mutate into
monstrous horrors if they are not given blood.
Priscilla Carver‑Redwood’s Blood‑Magic Combat
Techniques:
1. Crimson Lace Snare
She flicks her fingers and threads of blood‑light weave
into a lace‑patterned net that tightens around an enemy,
immobilizing them with painful elegance.
2. Rose‑Thorn Hemorrhage
A gesture summons a bloom of spectral crimson roses around her
target; each petal becomes a razor‑thin shard that cuts
and siphons vitality.
3. Velvet Pulse Step
Priscilla moves with ballroom grace, leaving behind a soft red
shimmer. Anyone who steps into her after‑image feels their
heartbeat stutter and weaken.
4. Blood‑Glass Waltz
She spins once, and droplets of her own blood crystallize into
floating shards that orbit her like a deadly chandelier,
striking at attackers who get too close.
5. Scarlet Perfume Veil
A cloud of fragrant, shimmering blood‑mist surrounds her.
Those who inhale it become dizzy, disoriented, and susceptible
to suggestion.
6. Noblewoman’s Cut
A single elegant swipe of her hand sends a thin, invisible blade
of compressed blood‑magic slicing through armor, wards, or
arrogance.
7. Carver’s Crimson Quill
She draws a sigil in the air with a needle‑thin line of
blood. When activated, it detonates in a silent burst that
ruptures magical constructs.
8. Heart‑Chalice Invocation
Priscilla cups her hands as if holding a goblet; blood gathers
into a floating sphere. When released, it drains stamina from
everyone in its radius and feeds her own.
9. Toreador’s Red Masquerade
She creates a flawless illusion of herself made from swirling
blood‑mist. It mimics her movements with theatrical
precision, confusing foes mid‑battle.
10. Sovereign’s Crimson Curtain
A sweeping gesture summons a tall, flowing drape of liquid ruby
that blocks attacks. When she drops it, the curtain lashes
outward like a tidal wave.
